While live streaming, it’s really important to have a quiet environment that doesn’t distract you or your viewers. When there’s no background noise, it helps you come off as a professional and allows your viewers to give you their undivided attention. But, when it comes to it, the most common question that arises among streamers is whether to go for room soundproofing or sound tiling. Today, we will take a look at whether you should go with soundproofing or sound tiling to take your streams to the next level.
Let’s say you’re ready to stream live and have done a test live stream. As soon as you click the “Go live” button, the neighbours. You don’t want that nearby construction site noise, your neighbour’s or simply a busy street to impede your viewers’ live streaming experience. This is why it’s important to know all about soundproofing and sound tiling.
Despite what many people believe, using acoustic panels for sound tiling does not guarantee room soundproofing. Rather, it is a method for absorbing sound. How does soundproofing work then? How does it differ from sound tiling? The purpose of this guide is to help you determine what is the best live streaming solution for you – soundproofing or sound tiling.

The fic by Rockity Sock is still an unpublished WIP so far, but it's really nice and will hopefully be completed and published later.
It begins at the end of the Ultimate Enemy episode, with Dan getting trapped in the thermos. And... I'm not sure how much I can say without spoiling it, but a lot of really cool stuff happens. It's a psychological type of fic, about different types of prisons and punishments, and has time stuff and pocket dimensions, and redemption stuff. (I was only planning on drawing one illustration for IB, but when I saw the WIP, I wanted to see so many things animated. So many awesome visuals. I wish I could've animated them all.)
This is the part I did animate:
He just walked for now, searching for the tiniest crack. The darkness went on for seemingly forever though, and no matter how far he walked it kept on going
Dan kept moving
He tried his best to break through the walls but every ectoblast he formed fizzled out. Fading into the darkness.
Oh, now it makes sense.
His powers are being limited, it takes him a few more tries to believe it. The fact that he’s trapped with nothing whatsoever. Endless hours spent, and wasted. Powers he has built up from the ground with no mentor, ones he trained endlessly after a decade.
Gone, disappeared, muffled. Limited. Dan let out a laugh, one with no humor. A laugh that turned into a cackle, he couldn’t stop.

my parents are away on a little vacation for a couple days and it’s making me realize that a lot of my going-to-bed routine actually depends in little ways on them being home, and them not being home is throwing me all out of wack. like. saying goodnight to them before going upstairs, hearing the murmur of the tv still being on while i brush my teeth, hearing my dad laugh at something that’s happening in the show he’s watching as i lay down in bed, hearing the key turn in the lock as my mom locks the front door for the night. but they’re not here rn and so there’s something missing in the routine and now i’m standing here in front of the sink unable to make myself go to my room to put my pyjamas on bc i just had to turn the lights off downstairs and there is no noise coming from the living room
The bright white and blue at the top is Mayco SW-136, Weathered blue! It's very matte and kind of rough to the touch a bit? A super neat texture, the colors are vibrant as you can see. And you can see on the outside of the bowl too that you can see the underglaze lines under it. However, on the test tile, the carved line is barely visible at all.
To the right is Coyote Lapis Satin Matte MBG 182! Genuinely gorgeous as most coyote glazes are. The finish is fantastic. This is one of Coyote's Enduro-glazes which is designed for restaurant style heavy use food items so it seems to live up to that! Really love the vibrancy on this.
Then we have Mayco SW-145 Tea Dust! It has a very nice leathery look and color! It's a semi matte appearance, it seems like a web work of matte with glass specks giving it that leather look. Very nice!
MBG 180-P, another coyote Enduro-glaze! This is their Honeydew color. I wasn't expecting so much flow and variation in an Enduro-glaze but it's there! It's nice and subtle and a very refreshing color.
MBG 182-P, Coyote Enduro-glaze number three! This is Satin White Liner. It's not quite matte, not quite gloss, and very nice! The underglaze and stripe of Mayco Matte Black under it show well!
SW-105, Mayco Frost blue! This is a more subtle gray-ish blue with a soft tan color in some places. It showed the Mayco Matte Black under it well, but ate the black underglaze on the outside test. It's a nice color and supposedly has some good glaze combos!
SW-116, Robin's Egg. This one has gorgeous colors but did NOT play nice with the natte black nor black underglaze stripe and completely hid those. The color is still a lovely cornflower blue with a gray-ish tan-ish color where I assume the glaze was thin.
A student came to the front desk while I was subbing there earlier and showed me a picture of an area in the stacks on the second floor where a large chunk of ceiling tile had fallen down. The carpet underneath it is damp, so this is probably the result of water damage from our recent snow. No one is hurt, the collection seems to be unharmed, and the chunk of ceiling and dripping water managed to fall away from the actual shelves, thank goodness. My boss is out till next week, so I got to call maintenance and hopefully they can do something about it.
the summary here is to not leave ur assignment to the night before when it was released 20 days ago. alternatively just do not be neurodivergent in an academic institution they will EAT you
