Okay!! So its either:

[ 1) They're all siblings, the order goes like this: (new edit): Runi -> Dizzy -> Sparky -> Zoey (although methinks dizzy is still older bye.) ]

[ 2) Runi and Dizzy are sibs, Sparky and Zoey are sibs, theyre cousins ]

Scenario 1 (and this post is full of this one lmao)

They don't have parents (I imagine them having risky jobs like rescue workers. what if one job went wrong?) Mom was a firefighter, dad was an EMT.

Runi and Dizzy has seperation anxiety purely because of that (Runi manages it better than Dizzy though) Zoey and Sparky was pretty young so they dont really know

Their parents knew Grand Albert and Poppa Wheels. Also Paul too I think

At first Dizzy was kind of against to becoming a rescue worker (for all of them) because what if the same thing happens again?? But she wanted to become one. Then later she changed her mind.

Anyway enough with the angsty stuff

For looks, Dizzy and Zoey took up after their dad. Runi and Sparky took up after their mom

Runi is aroace and Dizzy is bi bc i said so. Runi is he/they bc i also said so

ALL of them have extreme sweet tooth. they would eat pure sugar. They also love spicy stuff (Zoey is really good at making spicy burritos)

(during his firefighter training) Runi got a scratch all across his mouth (ty @/worldairportwonders 's doodle for the insp) and it damaged their vocal system badly. They had to cover his mouth during that time for the treatment, why not spice it up with a cool looking mask? Thats where his mask comes from. Although their voice is now a little raspy.

Zoey is really interested towards biology. She collects dead bugs, plants, etc. to cut them up. On the other hand, Sparky doesnt really like them so Zoey sometimes annoys him with it

Runi loves chemistry, mainly fire interests him. They watch lot of vids about fire experiments, chemical reactions, etc. He never tries anything with fire though (they also watch Curie's experiments)

All of them likes drawing in some way.

Runi left first to become a firefighter. He always dreamed about becoming one

Dizzy left next, to join SW. hard for her at first but after seeing Runi she did it

Zoey left next to become a doctor

Sparky stayed at their house, but he got a hose installed etc etc. there

Then Zoey and Sparky both joined SW :] Runi didnt though, but years later he joined the new generation team

About their house, they had a base-like house on a mountain (like Dizzy's base in season 2) It's not used as a living space now since all of them left but they still go there for reunions etc.

Runi and Zoey are good with cooking, Dizzy and Sparky are good with baking

Whenever they bring someone they're dating each of the family member has different reactions. Runi is chill, Dizzy stares at them constantly, Sparky is nice but also wary, Zoey will try to test them.

When they play Splatoon (they play it. actually majority of them play it. because i said so) Dizzy mains Dynamo, Zoey mains Glooga Dualies, Sparky mains Hydra, Runi mains Range Blaster. These mfs mastered slow weapons and theyre the best defenders

Been wilding with art lately and drew a whole lotta fun Lu interactions with Knife and Fe who are characters that belong to my friends @butterfly-619 and @roses-luckride.

Technically they’re not really supposed to be able to meet but for funzies Lu gets a universe crossing phone signal that allows him to casually text someone in a different universe just for the sillies. I’d imagine the Project Lapis universe would prolly have tech to go across universes *after* the main story’s events. If they had that tech beforehand it’d break the plot. Also because he’d also be bffs with Atra if they met so that tech would end up existing for that too.

but yeah as you can tell two of those are goofy silly meme image redraws. That third one started as a “silly selfie doodle” and midway through became a fully detailed piece lol. I love that Lu’s taller than Knife, it’s so funny.

Dangerous thought of the day: I should make a dungeon synth album

sparky’s unpopular opinion that has been on the mind for many a night (explanation under the break so i don’t have a long post taking up your feed):

all the young dudes has done immense damage to the marauders fandom

don’t get me wrong. the fic is good. you can tell that the person who wrote it put their heart and soul into a fic about something that they loved. you can see every little fun detail they put into it.

the story isn’t exactly my thing. but when you’re creating with that much emotion and passion and love? it’s hard to not fall in love with it.

i get that

but when i get hate dms on instagram telling me that my portrayal of pandora lovegood is wrong because i made her maiden name something that isn’t rosier, or how i write peter (as a person with both good and bad and not just a written off follower of james and sirius, which is apparently insane to people), it kind of puts the fic in a dark light.

i’ve read a decent chunk of it, but i couldn’t make it through because of how the author writes some of the characters. most notably peter, as he’s written out of most scenes via detention or girlfriends, even though the thing that made his betrayal so heartbreaking was the fact that he had been close to james and lily.

what made the betrayal so harsh and unbelievable was him being good friends with them. the world believed that sirius black, james’ best friend, betrayed him. because they’d both been friends with him.

and to be told that my interpretations of any said characters were wrong because of a fanfiction?? it’s just wild, and makes me incredibly upset.

harry potter is a massive fandom, and the marauders fandom is a sizeable subset of that fandom! so to say that one person’s interpretations are just Right because you like their fic is wild.

Here's a cool library trick: sometimes you can request that the library purchase items that you yourself have no interest in but think would be valuable for other folks in your community.

Today I went over to my local library's requests page to put in a pre-order request for Bury Your Gays from Chuck Tingle, and went ahead and poked around at their catalog a little. I remembered I'd asked them to buy a book being advertised by the author at Ashland Pride. It definitely didn't sound like my kind of thing (love story memoir about a pair of lesbian nuns) (too much Christianity in it for me I think), but also definitely like something that could be valuable for this small, conservative city and the other queer folks who live here. So I decided to see if they'd picked it up.

Sure enough!
