If you're seeing this please repost or share it with someone who can help. I have been trying to get the attention of @staff and @support for a bit now about ads and reporting ads. See if they can make a system where you can report ads or at least have people monitor the first before being published on the platform. As you can see from above, both of these pictures being taken on to separate days months between, there have been companies who are running very ableistic ads. Ads targeted against autistic people. As someone who is nerodivergent this both concerns me and pisses me off. I don't know how to get the attention of any moderator or staff that can help with this problem I'm trying to get it to as many people as I can so that I can somehow find a way to fix this. Cuz if I see one more of these ads I might just go crazy. Well crazier than people already think I am, you know not being neurotypically. It makes me really mad cuz this website is known for being diverse but then host ads like this. Maybe I was a crazy one for thinking that a big app like this would actually be better than something like Twitter but who knows. Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go see if the team that belongs to Tumblr gives any money to autism speaks.

I’ve already reached out to tumblr staff/contact form stuff but I haven’t heard back. I am unable to message on my main anymore even with it turned on

This is likely due to me trying to message multiple mutuals the same message and getting locked for being “a bot” but so many bots exist on this site and get away with this so why am I being locked out?

Can someone please either help me or convince staff I’m a real fucking person thanks?

See I wouldn’t mind the amount of bots on here if it was easier to block/report them en masse. Like, why do I have to click into every individual account to block it?

Also friendly reminder to those moving over here from Twitter/Reddit. PLEASE add a pfp/header/description of SOME KIND so we can distinguish you from the bots. I know tumblr makes you follow a couple accounts before it lets you, but do it as soon as you can otherwise you’ll probably get reported. Even if it’s just a plain black pfp and something like “I’m a real person not a bot” that’s enough to not get blocked

I NEED YOUR HELP - as I am concerned that all of the love and passion I have put into my blogs may have been entirely erased and it may NEVER be recovered.

This morning I tried logging into that Tumblr account, only to be shown this terrifying message:

I was SHOCKED. I was literally able to login 2 days ago without issue and to my knowledge I had done nothing to warrant my account being terminated. No community guidelines were violated. I have taken every security measure to make sure that only I can access my account, and not anyone else.

All I was doing was just reblogging neat things (as you do here) and building up a vtuber resources blog to help this community flourish on this website.

I am a Tumblr veteran and have been on this platform in one way or another for over 10 years! I avoid drama like the plague and don't post anything that would violate Tumblr's community guidelines. I received no communication from staff prior to this, indicating any warnings or that this would happen.

I am just someone who enjoys what the core of what Tumblr is all about: being free to be yourself and express what you care about, which is why seeing this message this morning made me upset.

BOTH of my blogs no longer exist, and the hours I poured into building up not only my personal blog, but my passion project of a vtuber assets/resources hub to help fellow vtubers grow and chase their dreams have been lost.

My heart is broken and even though I have emailed Tumblr support, asking them to explain what happened - and if they could fix it - I don't have much hope. I am truly worried that these blogs are lost and I will have to begin again. At this point, I am too scared to even remake those accounts until I know exactly what Tumblr support's response will be.

It may seem silly, especially because there are thousands on account on here, but after coming back here to try and escape the burning bird app, I was really happy. I was beginning to remember why I loved Tumblr and just how many possibilities there are for ANYONE on this platform, not just me. I was making friends, meeting new people, and creating a blog that I had hoped would help vtubers old and new on their journey.

I do hope this was just a mistake. Just a glitch that happened and everything will be fine, but there is a piece of me that is very concerned - especially after doing some googling and seeing some not to positive outcomes for people in similar situations like mine.

I hope that by sharing this, and maybe getting some visibility on this issue, that I will be able to get my blogs restored and not have to begin again.

So please, spread the word! A reblog goes a long way here. And I hope that with your help, I can go back to being a chaotic gremlin who shares memes while trying to help grow the amazing vtuber community that has started to flourish here.

Tumblr why?

Today I learned that you cannot put a question mark in your description on the laptop. @staff why is that? It literally broke the page every time. How can a simple "?" break tumblr? I would love an answer.

In before my art blog also gets deleted somehow but lately I’ve been having an issue where my sideblog just up and vanish. I’ll be in the middle of reblogging things and suddenly it won’t show as an option.

A part of me really hopes this is just a glitch and I can just get it resolved. But another part of me is considering that someone might be reporting my accounts as spam, mainly because it’s quick and without any warning whatsoever.

It’s something that’s happened before so it’s not too out of the question. Though I hope those people aren’t still lurking my accounts :/ I doubt they are.

Hey, I know this isn't something that usually happens, but I'm bit of an emergency and bind right now.

A tumblr user told me they were considering suicide and when I went to their blog they habe appeared to deactivated themselves.

I am hoping that anyone who knows them in person can see this.

Sorry if the details are being thrown out or if my grammar is near indistinguishable, I'm just a bit shaken up right now and in too much of a hurry to care.

The tumblr user was gothic-gotham2.

The images below are the last message they sent to me.I hope someone recognises them and has a way to contact them.

I tried reporting them to staff, but due to the missing url it's kind of impossible.And my attempt to send them to send it to them another way has ended in a loading screen for the past 10 minutes.

If anyone is having trouble remembering who they were, they were a batman themed blog with batman as their background icon with robin.And a batman themed blog.Their pinned post was about them asking for a black manager and they recently were in need of money for food.And had their cashapp in their bio.

I honestly not sure if they're alive.I managed to send them an ask asking them not to commit,but I'm out of ideas on what to do.This was before they were registered as a ghost blog on my laptop.So I'm not sure if it even went through or if there was a glitch of some sort.My attempts to contact staff have been fruitless so far.

I even tried kokobot but had no luck.

I'm sorry if this is upsetting for anyone who knows them or knew them, but I'm at a complete loss as to what to do.Or how to reach out for any help.Or help them.

Still a ghost apparently. I did message staff yesterday, still waiting for a message or something from them.

Hoping this gets resolved quickly. I can't comment, my reblogs and likes don't show up but the number goes up for some reason. Mentions don't show up in my notifications, and apparently @the-lampman said that they didn't get a notification when I replied to their ask which notified me to the situation in the first place..... Hell, when I reblogged that post 2 separate times it didn't show up!

So I guess I'm kinda stuck in a Tumblr limbo for now until when I'm freed from this curse.

My browser logged me out of my tumblr on my laptop and won't let me back in but I'm still here on mobile. Anybody know how to fix this?
