some of the worst classism is white collar middle class americans against blue collar & minimum wage workers. “why does that plumber make more than me” because he’s been perfecting his craft for 30 years and you send emails. “they’re in the trades bc they’re too dumb to do anything else” ok take that engine apart and put it back together real fast babe. “they’re boring bc they never left their home town” have you considered they financially couldn’t? I am not saying it is anyone’s job to educate, nor you need to respect people who do not respect you, but while you maybe never sympathize we need to learn to empathize. consider why (who) allowed for massive parts of country to be uneducated and how many impoverished areas of this country haven’t had a voice for a very long time. we are all victims of the rich. remember it is up vs down

Good morning beauties! how r u all doing? is it finals week yet! we r here about to hit study week for undergrad students! fighting!! u got this! I am thinking about moving back home since I can't afford being on my own anymore... not sure when ... but I am thinking about it...its a very hot and beautiful day here! and I saw some nice white flowers on my way to the campus! I am quite ignorant with names of flowers or fish...so... what we can do at any given point in life is to try to stay afloat and try to do our best given the circumstances... lets do that and I think future gonna be ok :)

I was only hoping to get a D in stats, so I’m happy. My GPA stays at a 3.0, so I’m on track for grad school fall 2026.

Also I think it’s funny you can tell my interest I the topics by the grade lol. Sociology and women studies is cool as fuck, biology is interesting but I’m slowly burning out, and I don’t like math (except geometry… I miss you).

They are now ready and set, suited and booted, to head up into that big old mysterious blanket above and see what's good. Perhaps they will bring y'all a souvenir.

Idk how I never made a full sheet for my Athena design so here’s an updated sheet of her casual and battle-mode clothes :D you have no idea how much pain and suffering went into me stubbornly trying to keep her feathers brown while keeping some part of her blue like QT and so odysseus can have a blue cloak inspired by her. Trying to make brown work with blue was like trying to mash two magnets with the same charge together. Also I honestly love the idea of her using her wing cape to fly but at the same time i don’t want her losing one side of it to affect her flying… so idk…

not that i'm like, pro gene editing, but i think it'd be such an interesting angle on their characters. like if they made hexCRISPR instead of hexgates we'd get such a unique dynamic between viktor 'as-a-disabled-guy-i-want-to-cure-all-disabled-people-ever-whether-they-consent-to-it-or-not' arcane and jayce 'as-a-non-disabled-guy-i-cannot-even-have-a-psychosis-and-bisexuality-fuelled-hallucination-of-you-in-which-you-are-not-disabled' talis

however, as much as i wish we'd seen that specific flavour of doomed yaoi, i cannot even IMAGINE how much worse this au would be for everyone else ever. the sacrifices we make

I think Curly being fired a long with the rest of the crew even with the recommendation still invokes he did not get what he wanted through that.

Curly was feeling unfulfilled at work and in his career, yes. He was considering quitting along with sticking it out cause it’s what he’s known and feel secure in, even if not satisfied. You think getting fired would be a great thing for him, that’s a part of Jimmy’s scathing thought process and twisting of the cock pit conversation. However, the most important aspect is that Curly got to make that final decision for himself.

Curly does not get to decide if he’s actually ready to take that step and branch out and it likely worsened whatever was spinning in his head into a spiral because now he has to think of what he’s gonna do. It can’t wait and I believe his misplaced idea of Curly in telling the crew was his way of not invoking the same feeling within them. For him to be able to sit on it for months while they couldn’t, it was not fair the same way it isn’t fair to assume he would wanted that as an excuse to leave piloting.

It’s good to note that no one really got to fully choose what they wanted to do. Just a whole lot of reactions…. And inactions.
