Bucky and Steve exchanged looks. “Don’t you think you should put on your clothes before you start saying you wanna be just friends, doll?” Bucky asked.

Darcy looked down to her body, like she’d just realized she was naked. “That’s a good idea.” She agreed slowly.

Steve sighed. “Dar, you don’t have to do anything you don’t want to, but we’re getting some mixed signs here.”

She once again looked down at her naked body. “Okay, I can see how that might happen.”

Bucky snorted. “One date, doll.”

“Nope.”

The dark haired man threw his hands up. “Fine. But no breakfast for you. Only Steve gets waffles.”

He jumped as the covers were yanked off. "Fuck! What is it?"

"There's someone at the door. Can I eat him?"

"Venom- no. We've talked about this. No eating people."

"Unless they're bad people."

"We don't know if this one is a bad person or not." He yanked on a t shirt and ran his fingers through his hair as he bickered with the symbiote, then went to answer the front door as whoever it was knocked again. "Can I help you?" He asked a bit irritably, squinting in the bright afternoon light as he looked up at the very tall man in front of him. "Ah, shit. I've told Fury once, I've told him a million times- I'm not interested in your little star spangled superhero club."

Steve Rogers chuckled. "I'm not here on behalf of SHIELD, don't worry. I'm looking for Eddie Brock the reporter."

"He would make a tasty breakfast."

Eddie turned away. "We are not eating Captain America!" He hissed before looking back at the man. "Well, uh- you've found him. But I don't do that anymore. Got fired at the beginning of all this-" He gestured vaguely to himself. "Symbiote crap."

"That's all right. I have a story I think you might be interested in though, if you have 20 minutes." Steve smiled, showing off blindingly white teeth, and Eddie just grunted.

"His teeth are giving me a headache, Eddie."

"Fine. Come in so I can close the door." He rubbed his eyes and sighed in relief as Steve stepped in and he shut the door, and the sunlight from the hallway was suddenly cut off.

instead of staying in the past, Steve promised Thor to bring Loki back.

As in, snatch him up right before Th*nos could Darth Vader him.
