Fenrir loves Aventurine like breathing. Every detail Aventurine hates about himself, Fenrir finds to love. Loving Aventurine is the easiest thing he's ever done, providing a distraction from self-loathing. Fenrir doesn't care if his love is reciprocated; he's content to love from afar if necessary, even if it hurts. He doesn’t care if he gets hurt while he loves, he loves too much to feel the pain.

Aventurine, on the other hand, finds loving Fenrir like suffocating. His self-loathing overshadows his love, making it hard to comprehend why Fenrir would love him. He appreciates everything about Fenrir as much as Fenrir appreciates him, but loving someone is the hardest thing he's ever done. It emphasizes his own flaws, and he fears hurting Fenrir with his love. He's scared of loving wrongly, despite knowing Fenrir reciprocates. What if his love hurts?
