🍓 for virgo - this exchange is MOST likely to be practical for you of all the signs. for you it is MOST likely to involve physical goods or services. this year you may find your brain freeing up as Mercury finally leaves all vestiges of retrograde energy aside on the 22nd when it reaches it's furthest elongation at the end of the Mercury Max cycle

🍍 of all the earth signs it's Capricorn who may have the most difficult time as this is a time of change which confronts your need for tradition. you can mark the occasion by investing in a new aesthetic, whether that means a desk tidy, new pair of glasses or so on. You are one of the signs who suits the dark academia aesthetic best and doing something like this can make any life changes easier

The archetype reading was inspired by the deck I used today. The guide book uses examples from anime to fit the descriptions of the tarot cards. I thought that was really clever so I decided to build off that idea and tell you what archetype you are most drawn to wants to tell you. In short, this is really a message from a specific cards energy. I hope this helps anyone who might be struggling!

However, I think it is saying balance is super important when you dabble in darkness. You might be prone to addiction to literally anything you can get dopamine from. I am an addict as well. I know how hard restraint can be. Even doing this reading is giving me cravings to be honest so I know you deal with cravings constantly. Advice for beginners learning tarot:

My mentor taught me to stop reading reversed cards. You need to learn the general energy of the card, there’s no need to learn two sets of meanings. Flip the card upright

Learn the major and minor arcana separate

Read and research about archetypes, not “how to read tarot”

Write down and date all tarot notes. This will cement your personal relationship with the cards.

Learn about the switching of the cards 8 and 11. Learn why they were switched.

Research numerology, synchronicity, the shadow.

You're the one to question the system around you.   Look into the dark secrets of your family . Your love interests are normally going to be obsessed  with you or  not, you must focus on love ,more so focus on your character's journey .  Your first few roles , your going to face some criticism, people talking about how you express your facial expressions . People would want to be more emotional.  People like how you express your anger , and make scenes more intense .  Also, people hope to get a glimpse of who you are behind the scenes.  People like seeing you play more villain roles , more you like gambling and hunting down others.

Here , your roles will have you playing someone that either time travels or given a second chance to live.  Going on 17 again type of shows.  You will playing role of sick patients , probably starting out.  Movies that are disasters .Most roles you have to play a younger person and at times you later are the one taking care of kids . Family type of drama. The type of dramas that get pick up from books but different when are screen. Dramas that in up showing more of dark side like winix clubs or new Sabrina show . More of mysterious reboot . People think your acting is new , that you tend to commit yourself very well to your role. Although some think you can be expressionless and a bit just of void like that of the death card.  Some think your bit psycho like the roles you play in film. This the supernatural pile to , where your cast in a lot of horrors , dealing with death , being the role of someone that here to spiritual heal . The roles to have you waiting to be save by someone , so the clumsy hero / heroine . Anime type of heros  role with the orphan card. The 'I die for you' type romance films. Aka till death do us apart . Eternal lovers.

Okay critique time:

@ 8:33 - there is a mention that Henry’s influence makes the Hive Mind evil (see previous posts about this I swear one day I’ll do a proper catalogue) BUT essentially (spoilers for the play & skip this paragraph if you don’t want to be spoiled I’m sure they’ll release a version for Netflix v soon) after Henries family moved to Hawkins, he was taken to the upside down (just like Will) and when he came back was a little possessed (just like Will) although the difference being that Henry was never purged of the Mind Flayer like Will was… This leads to the conclusion that the Mind Flayer and Hive Mind is what is evil. That is just the facts and now to some of my own theory around this. The Mind Flayer/Hive Mind is just the culmination of the shadow of the town/world, it is the psychic realm of those who cast away their emotions shadow in order to continue living in the main world. When this shadow acts from ignorance seeks to destroy whatever is causing harm rather than understanding who, what, why, when, how etc. it sees the world as evil i.e. colonisation, homophobia etc. Possibly we will see a resolution where there Hive Mind is not cast away into the psychic realm but seeks the spiritual growth of itself and community… this is a little rough around the edges and could use some work but that’s the gist of it.

@12:10 - I really think inversion (colour inversion in this sense but also inversion in tarot is like a warning (I’m not too well versed in tarot if anyone can help me out here<3)) and shadows (in the unconscious/Jungian sense) have a really big part in this show and wouldn’t be surprised if we have missed so many hints by not looking through this lense too <3 great find!

this blog is 3 years old today!! 🎉

admittedly, it might not seem like there’s three years of content on here, but you know how life has a tendancy of getting in the way, and i like to think i have a decently-sized portfolio!

anyway, i had a look through said portfolio just because i was curious whether one major arcana card appeared in every set, and apparently not—however, the magician comes closest at ten out of twelve! (every set except w.i.t.c.h. and voltron)

most of the other major arcana only show up in about six sets, so it’s probably no surprise that the magician is my favourite card in the suit. i don’t really believe in tarot as a predictive medium, but the aesthetic rocks, and the archetype of someone who will rise to meet new opportunities and can weather any obstacle with a can-do attitude and a sharp mind really appeals to me

The Mother: The archetype you should dive into is the mother. The mother is about being nurturing, compassionate and supportive. The mother is also a divine creator. She creates life itself. And this doesn't have to mean just having kids. It can mean creating and nurturing a business or a creative project as well.

The Enigma: The archetype you should dive into is the enigma which is the Mystic and the Lover. The mystic is about being spiritual, at peace, connected and soulful. This archetype is all about inner peace and finding a meaningful, purposeful life. Mixed with the lover which is about sexuality, passion and romance. The lover dives into things she's passionate about and romanticizes her life. She also isn't afraid to be sexual and flaunt her stuff.

The Huntress. The archetype you should dive into is the huntress which is the most masculine of all of the feminine archetypes. The huntress is independent and takes initiative action towards her goals. She is focused on herself, living freely and accomplishing her own personal goals. She hunts instead of waiting for her prey to come to her.

But the biggest one, I went to a TAROT CLASS at a shop 5 mins from my house and I went to the little table and there was one chair left, they said I could sit there, so I pull it out and BOOM THERE IS A CAT, A CAT WAS IN THE CHAIR, IT WAS WONDERFUL, SHE WAS BLACK AND SOFT AND LIKES TO LAY ON YOUR LAP WHEN YOU SIT DOWN, NEW FAVORITE PLACE.

Other fun things from the class:

Delved into court cards which is great cause swords and pentacles are my nemesis, but now I can handle them better, and can use them for creating characters!

Told everyone about the small town I moved from and how they were Not Friendly (TM) to this sort of thing, they asked where, I said the town name, and all three of them let out a huge NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. One lady went, ‘I’ve heard about -Old Town-. They’re SO mean.’ And, you know... they’re right.

Did I mention the cat

Group mockery of people in Old Town who said it was too cold for me to live in this place and I’d be miserable.

Group commiseration over There Is No Planning The Weather, The Lake Decides 20 Minutes Before The Weather.

One of them did a tarot reading for me when we were done (AWESOME, and very encouraging about TRT) and then let me do a tarot reading for them which I’d never done for a stranger before (NERVE-WRACKING). But I think I did ok. I’m a storyteller, I roll with it.

They said i could visit whenever and drink tea and read books in their comfy corner and also visit the cat

Pepperoni is welcome, my pet snake can literally visit, he hates leaving the house so he won’t  but I appreciate it anyway

They were HAPPY I was there. Like I legitimately felt welcomed and not like a dumbass or an outsider and it was GREAT.

I mentioned I lived five minutes away, on *street name*. And I said, ‘if you’re ever on that street, I’m the one with the dragons’ and the shop lady just gasped and went ‘YOU’RE THE DRAGON HOUSE???’ So I’m glad to know this is my reputation in the neighborhood.
