Of all the fandoms you've gotten into this year, which of them do you think left the biggest impact on you, and for what reason(s)? Is there anything you'd like to reminisce on as you head into another academic year?

I can't believe you're making me write a reflection like I'm in primary all over again.

Every fandom I'm in/ever been in leaves it's own unique imprint on me, it's like comparing apples to oranges. Different experiences in life but important nonetheless, y'know?

However, I do think that out of the fandoms I've gotten into the past year, Star Wars has left the biggest impact on me. A large part of it is due to the fact that there's an expanded universe to explore with so much content to consume so it gives me a lot to think about, but I've also been exposed to it for many many years, so there's the nostalgic factor there as well.

I think it's left a big impact on me because of the fact that pretty much all of Star Wars is a tragedy in some way, shape, or form. And while it's certainly sad, I love seeing how people keep going on despite all their hardships, much like in real life. I like that Star Wars teaches lessons of morality, mental strength, grief, unity, kindness, and hope.

Bruce does not enjoy magic. In fact he’s absolutely horrible at it, to the point it’s better that he avoids it in general. Getting thrown into some sort of summoning circle bullshit was not helping him feel any better about it either. 

At least he isn’t dead… probably. He might be surrounded by green and there might be a massive entity sitting on a throne, but he isn’t dead yet. Even if the cult had been rambling about sacrificing ‘the dark knight to the dark king’. 

… His kids are definitely going to kill him, but there are small children peeking out at him from within the being’s cape. Who seem happy enough, while the… king looks exhausted in a familiar way. Well. Maybe it’s his own parental exhaustion talking, but they can’t be too bad if their kids are happy to be there.

my main beef with them is that they are very anti-feminist under the guise of hating “”””white feminism”””” and they make dumbshit posts. like they said something stupid about how gone girl is turning (white) women evil which i mocked and they sicced their followers on me which was the worst harassment i ever recieved online. so i have a grudge against them for that. also they are CONSTANTLY ebegging in an extemely guilt trippy way which is sooo annoying. i’m not keeping up with them nowadays but a quick check of their blog shows they are indeed engaging in your typical left antisemitism and anti-voting rhetoric.

In Buck's defense, he doesn’t mean to ask this question right then. It just slips out. He's lying in the big, strong arms of his very hot, amazing boyfriend, both sweaty and still breathless. He’s blissed out and fucked out, and so content and still dizzy after a mindblowing orgasm. He doesn’t have a lot of control over his thoughts and words right now. So he surprises even himself when the question flies out of him.

“Do you want to have children?” he asks casually, absentmindedly playing with their intertwined fingers where they're splayed on his chest.

“What?” Tommy asks, surprise and even shock evident in his voice, and only then Buck realizes what he said, and he feels his eyes widen and face starts to burn, and he stares at the ceiling, but feels Tommy’s gaze on the side of his head.

“I- I- I mean, like ever, some day, down the line- not like- I mean, you know, I- I just thought we should talk about it if- if- if it’s going where I hope it’s going- because I- we’ve been together for a while and I hope that- I think I-” he starts rambling and stumbling over his words, panicking just a little bit. Fuck, they’ve been doing so good the past few months, it’s honestly his best relationship he’s been in, probably the longest, too, and now he goes and screws it up by being too much, too soon, too serious-

“Evan.” Tommy’s hand lands on his cheek, and he gently turns Buck’s head towards himself. He meets Tommy’s soft gaze, and relaxes a little instantly. Tommy doesn’t look freaked out, just surprised, but there’s a hint of a smile dancing on his lips.
