Your relationship with Camila had started out as a strange one. You were clearly bound to be friends from the moment you met when you joined the RIverdale cast for Season 2. The idea of joining a cast that had already bonded terrified you but she had welcomed you with open arms and always spent her spare time with you.

At first you had thought she was just one of those extra friendly people, her and Lili always mentioned how they got on so well from the beginning, but your friendship wasn't really like that. At least not in your eyes.

That may have been because you had very quickly developed feelings for the girl. Your relationship had quickly become a flirtatious one, only fuelling your feelings. But you were sure that for her it was only ever going to be a friendship - flirting with one another was only a competition of who could be the bigger flirt. You were convinced she would never feel the same as you did.

You were walking across the car park to the set for your first filming, the costume you were wearing already felt like home and the friends you were with already felt like family. You were all joking together when you were distracted by a distant wolf whistle.

Looking up, you noticed Camila standing in the direction you were walking towards. Once she noticed you were looking again she wolf whistled again and you could just about see her wiggling her eyebrows with a cheeky grin.

You looked behind you, slightly confused, "Who's she-?" Madeleine laughed and hung her arm around your shoulders and Lili smirked. "What?"

"You just got cat-called by Cami, congrats." Lili squeezed you lightly, “She means well. It must be her horny teen way of flirting, I think.”

"Who... with me?" The two nodded, laughing. "Huh?" You glanced at Camila again who was still looking at you but obviously attempting to pretend not to.

Lili looked between the two of you and let out a small gasp, "Are you guys dating?"

"What? No!" You shook your head. You'd only known each other just under a month, not that that had stopped you falling half in love with the girl.

"Well, I'm calling it. It's happening." She shrugged as if you no longer had a say in the matter any longer, it was fate. You just shook your head and rolled your eyes before heading on set.

It had been three weeks since you had started filming with the cast of Riverdale and you were glad to say that your character hadn't been murdered off just yet, hopefully insinuating that they liked you.

You had really settled in at this point, having to spend hours in makeup helped forge your friendships with the crew and spending even longer with your fellow actors behind the scenes meant you were as close as could be. It was strange how quickly you could make friends when you were together 24/7 in their highs and lows.

Right now was one of your lows.

You were in makeup, it was 4:20 in the morning and you wouldn't exactly say you were elated to be there. Michelle, the woman who worked on your makeup, had made your life as cheerful as it could be at such an early hour. Even so, when you had to look in the wall mirror in front of your chair, you'd immediately noticed the bed hair and dark circles under your eyes. Michelle had her work cut out for her today.

And talking about Michelle, she had disappeared. She had told you where she was going but you were definitely not concentrating. So you were kind of surprised that when you heard someone come up behind you, it wasn't Michelle but Camila standing there.

"Looking hot Y/N." You looked at Camila in time to see her wink at you, already in full make-up and her cheerleading costume. Not for the first time since meeting her, you felt the butterflies in your stomach but shook them off and jokingly rolled your eyes.

"Right back at you Mendes." You attempt to wink back but since you were still half asleep you failed miserably, causing the other girl to throw her head back and let out a loud laugh.

She came up behind you and wrapped her arms around your shoulders so you were both looking at each other in the mirror. "You know, I think you're cute... so I mean this in the most loving, supportive way but- you actually look slightly like death. You sleep okay?"

"Mhmm," You nodded, not wanting to delve into a deep discussion about your sleeping issues. It did, however, make your heart skip a beat to see Camila look genuinely concerned for you, but before she had the chance to push further you moved the conversation on, "I mean, obviously I would have slept better if you were by my side."

The corners of her mouth twitched upwards as she shook her head and softly said "You're welcome to join me any time". She stood there for a moment, just looking at you before taking a deep breath and unwrapping her arms from you and straightening up, "I'll see you on set Y/N."

"Yep, see you." You gave a small wave but was quickly distracted by Michelle reappearing out of the storage cupboard. And so began the torturous session of hair being styled, lips being painted and eyelashes being curled (it was never ending).

Moments like these were some of your favourites. You had reached the end of filming for the second season and so most of the cast were hanging out at Madeleine and Lili's as an end of season party. You had bought in a load of pizzas and KJ had brought alcohol. A lot of alcohol. You all took this as an opportunity to chill out, gossip and just let your hair down.

It didn't take anyone long to get way too drunk, everyone apart from Camila and Lili who seemed to be making sure no one set the apartment (or themselves) on fire.

"Camila." You smiled as you fell down next to her on the sofa, "You look very sober."

She smiled and looked at you, and if you were sober you would definitely have managed to notice the heart eyes she had when looking at you. Drunk you just thought you were hallucinating. "And you are very drunk. Come on, I'm taking you to a bed." She stood up and helped you up as well, holding you close to her to keep you steady.

"At least take me on a date first." You laughed, swaying dangerously close to her lips.

She raised an eyebrow and smirked slightly, "Mhmm, maybe tomorrow."

You nodded, seemed a fair enough deal, "I'm holding you to that."

"I'm not so sure you'll remember." She opened the door to Madeleine's room (Madeleine was already passed out on another sofa) and placed you on the bed, "Wait here, I'll get you some water." Camila walked out and you let yourself fall back on the bed and closed your eyes. In no time at all, Camila was back with a plastic cup of cold water. She helped you sit up and drink some before relaxing slightly, her protective side showing ever so slightly.

You glanced at your water and then to the girl sitting next to you before smiling a very drunk smile, "Okay, okay. Cam, what's your opinion on water?" She took one look at you and shook her head, laughing.

"Oh god, this isn't your attempt at drunk flirting, is it?"

Nearly tipping your glass of water, you tried rolling your eyes before putting your hand on her knee, "Just answer the question, dumbass."

She cleared her throat and licked her lips, looking down at your hand before answering, "Alright, I, uh, I like water. It's good. Why?"

"Because, that means you like 80% of me."

Her face broke out in a smile and she kissed your temple (although that may have been something you also hallucinated in a drunken haze) "Oh babe, I like 100% of you." She moved some hair out of your face and took the glass of water away, putting it on the bedside table. "Come on, let's get you into bed." She stood you up again and begun to unbutton your trousers.

'Woah, woah, woah. Stranger danger." You mumbled, squirming away.

"Y/N? I'm not trying anything, I'm just-"

"Nope."

"You'll be uncomfortable sleeping in your jeans, I'm just-"

"Away!"

"You are such a pain, get in bed." Giving in, Camila forced you under the duvet and was about to leave when you pulled her in next to you.

"Good night Cam." You mumbled, wrapping your arms around her. She was about to protest when she looked at you and suddenly couldn't think of anywhere else she would rather be.

It had been a few months since you had seen your friends and cast members. You had been completely absorbed with your latest project working on Supergirl and hadn't managed to see anyone. That was until you started the press run for Riverdale. AKA days of interviews, comic con panels, photoshoots. Doing all this only reminded you of how much you were in love with Camila. You were hardly able to look away from her in any interview.

It took until the very end of your press tour to decide to confess. You were tired, in love, and ever so slightly drunk when you knocked on her hotel door.

Camila opened the door and looked suitably surprised to see you. She opened her mouth to say something but you interrupted her. "I've just realised something." You stared at her, taking everything about her in. This made you pause long enough that she spoke up.

"It's 2am, you're either drunk or you've finally realised that you're completely and totally in love with me." She smirked slightly but you didn’t miss the slight way her eyes dulled. You grinned and stepped (swayed) closer to her.

"Yeah."

Rolling her eyes, she gave you a fond look and pulled you into her room, closing the door behind you. "Right, I'll get you some water. Come on, I-"

"What? Why would I need water for- oh, no. I'm... It's not the drunk option. Although I did have a bit of liquid courage before with the guys at the bar to get me to-" You stopped yourself from rambling and shook your head. "I love you Camila."

Her hands became still as she looked at you, her mouth hanging open slightly in shock and her eyebrows raised. She blinked a couple of times before she cleared her throat and forced a smile. "You're drunk, kind of reminds me of the end of season party." She shook her head, "You don't mean that. Or you won't in the morning." She bowed her head, distracting herself by fixing you up a glass of water, making it look like a much harder job than it really was.

You frowned at her reaction, not quite expecting that from her. You didn't truly know what it meant but you stepped forwards, taking the glass out of her hands and turning the tap off. Putting both hands under her chin, you softly pushed her chin up so she was looking at you.

"Camila, it has taken me way too long to say this.. but, I love you. And that really isn't alcohol talking." Softly but surely you placed your lips on hers, finally doing what you should have done months ago.

Camila pulled away and smiled, keeping her arms around you and your body close to hers, "Y/N? I love you too."

he loves you so much if only for how much he loves picking apart your brain (trust me he loves u for more than just that)

also he is SO about your interests. you guys swap 'fun' historical facts and discuss paranormal hypotheticals ad nauseam

ranpo isnt super knowledgeable in this area but he will go on an absolute deepdive to give you proper answers to your questions

(in event of a zombie attack, he has like four plans depending on the form of zombies hes working with, as well as a plan if he doesnt know) (and if you were bitten by a zombie he would Find A Way to fix it. hes edogawa ranpo he can figure it out)

as for the other macabre interests he strikes me as the kind of kid that was really into stories of the fae and changelings growing up + deffo did a whole lot of research into yokai and other types of spirits globally

so when i say he knows a little bit of the supernatural stuff you mention i mean it

but real human history never really caught his eye that much

(now that youre talking about it, though, hes 100% listening and looking for other cool twisted historical events to talk about !!)

Hi there! Playlist anon again. I listened to the whole thing and here are my thoughts. I hope this isn't over reaching cause I really enjoyed it overall and would love to see the rest 🙏🏽. Buckle in this is longgg

Rivers is a Vampire- Sonic would dance fight Shadow to this song (like in the original puss in boots, look up the scene I swear it's great).

Loose Cannon- it's both so Shadow and Sonic coded but it's funnier if it's Shadow realizing he likes Sonic. More likely it's supposed to be Sonic @ Shadow and it really fits. 10/10 putting it on my personal playlists.

Genius - this is Sonic having a jam sesh in his bedroom. 7.5/10 very in character, you're going to make me start liking rock music.

Assassin- 9/10 Shadow in his emo boy bag. The verses feel like Shadow in his head thinking he's hot shit (he's right), but the chorus feels like Rouge trying to talk him down. Overall big fan.

Lost- Honestly really love the vibes of this one. It sounds like Sonic and Hoax fighting/ talking or just Sonic debating with himself. Love the jaunty music with the sinister undertones.Fading World- 7/10(<- could be higher depending on personal taste) A nice interplay between Sonic's cheery friendliness and Shadow's.... everything. A nice world building song if that makes sense. If vamp au! were a level in a game this would play.

Moon Trance- A vampire nobility song if that makes sense. Kinda gives off Blaze if Sonic were dropping in with EDM beats. World building song.

Phantom of the Opera Overture- Shadow once again in his emo bag. Listening to this I imagine him dramatically posed as Ophelia in the river as Rouge looks on utterly unimpressed. Another world building song.

Dear Wormwood- 10/10 Devastating. This feels like when Shadow discovers Rogue is a vampire (if that's still canon?) and could work for the Sonic/Hoax reveal but to a much lesser extent.

Galacta Knight Theme- 5/10. Not bad but I'm not entirely sure how it fits. Feels like a world building song but lacks the rock and goth roots of its predecessors. I wanna say it feels like an Eggman song?

Trouble- Rouge song very fun (Shadow if you get a microscope). Good for a chase scene or playful fight.

Look What You Made Me Do Remix- Shadow after Sonic sneaks an extra sip of blood. 8/10 Shadow wouldn't be a Swiftie but he would bop to a song or two.

Bodies- GODDDDD 10/10. Shadow tracking a vampire to a party in his vulture outfit and having to maneuver his way to stealthily kill them (can't remember clearly if Shadow's actively a vampire hunter in the au rn but you get the vibe /pos).

Vampire Culture- like I said before Shadow being a hater /pos. Somebody get this boy a weighted blanket he needs to chill 8/10. I imagine he plays this as he puts on each vampire repellent stud and piercing.

The Magic 8- A very Sonic song in message but also Amy with the talk of magic. Funky duet? They'd probably sing this at Shadow 9/10.

Who's in Control- 10/10 Another Sonic/ Hoax talking song (I interpret their dynamic to be that Hoax has less inhibitions than Sonic and is overall allowed to be looser. hopefully that's close).

Why Do I- Sonic after Shadow realizes he's Hoax and they have a falling out. It feels do very Teen Beach Movie /pos. He'd get a whole musical number with backup dancers and rad sad choreography.

Blood Red Moon- World building song. Funnily enough I think you'd introduce Shadow with it. Dark foggy night, random vamp running away/ person being attacked by one, cut to Shadow standing ominously with a lightning strike for good measure. Lowkey has cowboy vibes.

Born of a Star- Feels like a happy future. The type of track that would play towards the end of a boss fight.

Drumming Song- 8/10. Very much an Amy song I like it a lot plenty of witchy vibes. Feels like it would play when she performs a powerful spell/ ritual (not sure exactly how her magic works). The chorus especially also sounds like Shadow describing the effect Hoax has on him :).

You've Created a Monster- Shadow. That's the review. This plays during a hunt or just during his morning routine. Just goofy enough to hide the emotional turmoil but serious enough to show his issues 8/10.

This is Why- Shadow whenever he sees Hoax. He's his biggest hater. Also Shadow at his job with Knuckles (he's about to punch someone's teeth in).

Figure 8- Sad Shadow hours. Probably around the time he just met Hoax and made the deal. Sounds like he's questioning his whole identity :(.

Shoot to Kill- 6/10 World building song. It's giving gathering of elders in the vampire kingdom.

Punching Bag- I've been associating the Set it Off songs with Sonic so far so at first I was thrown for a loop, but honestly? I can see him singing this after someone (Shadow) tries to kill him. It can also be a Shadow song but I find the Sonic angle very interesting.

Vampire- 9/10. ROUGE SONG. She's about to rob a man, GOOD FOR WOMEN.

Sirens- Not sure exactly this would apply to but very fun. Sounds like Shadow falling in love in a very overdramatic way but could also be Sonic. 8/10

Lost- this one is a lil complicated in my rat brain shdfhj !! this one is shadow pov! its like. about his perspective shifts across the plot in vampire au- first trying to hide from the scary vampires </3 and the screams are getting louder line ....is about maria...... i eated that part up.... "please dont find me im not ok" is a very shadowcore line and the final lost chorus meant to rep shadow eventually becoming 'lost' in what scared him but like. embracing it. this one. is hard to convey JJSDFJSD prob would need art to get across what i mean i suppose Fading World- this one is a Maria and GUN song ! :]c (dont worry about the fact its bass boosted. i am just guy who likes bass......)

more than any other joss-verse vampire, harmony could crossover to another franchise and do okay. angel couldn't hang with the anne rice vamps, spike couldn't hang with the waititi vamps. harmony would do makeover-montages with any of them before getting upset, calling them sluts and leaving in a huff. It's only now during my rewatch, without my teen shipper heart beating so loudly, that I'm seeing the full potential of some of the minor characters. Harmony, very much included.

The annoying thing is that if she'd gone off on her own, she would have found that family. With better knowledge about vampires (ie. Bruce and Lestat) she would have been smarter, more careful and quicker to deduce who would be a perfect fit.

And yeah, Carlisle would have rocked being her second vamp!daddy.

I hope she lives long on the show. I hope that if she dies, it's an open-ended kind of death that leaves room for fans (me) to assume that she got out of there and lived on.

I truly believe that Rebekah only wanted a child that was biologically related to her. Throughout TO she complained about her mother taking away motherhood from her but she had so many options. She could adopt a child and raise them as her own. If she was deemed unfit to adopt (she was financially stable but physically in her late teens) she could simply use compulsion and the child is hers. A character I actually sympathize with is Rosalie Hale from the Twilight Saga. Rosalie had no choice to become a vampire like Rebekah, but unlike Rebekah, in Twilight the Volturi exists and Rosalie has to abide by their laws or face execution. She can't adopt a child as easily as Rosalie because vampires in that universe don't have the power of compulsion. Since Rosalie is in her late teens she might be deemed unfit to adopt even though she's very wealthy. And even if Rosalie is able to adopt a child she would have to conceal that child's existance because the Volturi would discover that she had adopted a human child and would execute the kid. Rosalie also has to deal with the fact that if she were to adopt a child and hide their existance for about eighteen years the child would have to become a vampire because humans aren't allowed to know about vampires. And if the child chooses to remain human Rosalie will lose them either due to old age or being executed by the Volturi. So whenever Rebekah complains about not being able to be a mother I am so annoyed because she can be a mother she just wants to be a mother to a child who shares her DNA. Now I know why Marcel was treated so badly by the Mikaelsons growing up and why Hope was immediately accepted and loved by them because Marcel is Klaus' surrogate/adoptive son while Hope is Klaus' biological daughter. Elijah and Freya didn't even hesitate to kill Marcel despite Klaus loving him but would risk their lives for Hope numerous times!

Hey anon. 💞 I’m sorry I responded so late. I haven’t been on tumblr all day or my phone that much. But you’re spot on about Rebekah’s situation vs Rosalie’s. Rebekah had every advantage that Rose didn’t. She could have simply adopted a child, dip on her brothers and the supernatural drama, leave Nola, change her phone number or something, and start a life somewhere else away. Like you said, she could’ve easily used compulsion if they deemed her unfit. She had so many options, but they had her be baby obsessed for no reason. And I get why she felt cheated out of her chance for motherhood, she definitely was. But after a thousand years of living as a vampire, why would she still care about motherhood? I mean I sort of get why she wanted her humanity back because it was taken from her, but why did the writers have to make her baby obsessed.

I always felt bad for Rose too. She didn’t get a choice in becoming a vamp. She wanted to grow old with Emmett and have grandchildren. And her reaction to Bella being so ready to throw away her humanity to just to be with a guy(correct me if I’m wrong/ I haven’t watched the third movie in a while), like… she was so real for that. She was speaking mad facts. Also, why does the Vultori have to control everything? Like, who put these mfs in charge? 😭

The writers treatment of Marcel was lame as hell. Cause even though him and Klaus aren’t blood related, they still family. He raised him. That’s his kid. But that blame falls on the goofy ass writers.

hi again anon :) I really like father of the bride its probably tied with the first album for me, contra is my least fav. I think father of the bride is a rly fun album for sure it feels like vampire weekend doing a white album type of lp, just a butt load of tracks, without much perfectionism to them, feels much more carefree and casual than modern vamps, which is a common trend i see artists do, like making some immaculate masterpiece of an album that was polished 100 times and following it up with a fun, carefree project, altho im much more inclined to love the perfectionist projects :p but variety is always the best so i can def prefer them tackling each album differently

also omg i hadnt heard of l'homme run b4 i just listened to pizza party this is amazing, getting very lemon demon vibes with how nerdy the singing is and how lo fi and simple the prod is

| He's sick and tired of being just friends. Sherlock finally lets you know what he truly feels for you on your special night.

| NOTE : been a long time since i wrote a sherlock fic, and this request had been in my inbox for a while now. anon, i'm so sorry it took so long. (i hope it was worth the wait) i finally had the inspiration to write this when i came home from a friend's 20th birthday party, a bit drunk. comments, hearts, reblogs make me really happy, so pls do!!

Sherlock carefully tread on the gravelly footpath, his every step heard throughout the empty street. As he neared your house, he could hear the muffled bass and see the dancing, colored lights. He was once again invited to your birthday, as he is every year. He intentionally cleared his schedule for the week for your party, promising to make it up to you. The two of you had been busy with your own busy lives; university does that. But he never missed a birthday party of yours, as much as he detests it.

He hates parties. It’s full of people. Full of laughing, happy people.

But if it’s yours, he’d never miss it for the world. He was always present, ever since your 5th birthday party. And now, it’s your 20th, and he had every intention to attend more parties of yours, even if it’s your 50th.

As he stepped on your house’ laneway, he grasped his gift tightly, and absentmindedly fiddled with the purple ribbon he so delicately wrapped around the box. He sucked in a breath, and withdrew it, he saw his breath fade away like smoke in the chilly air.

I could do this. He reassured himself.

So, he walked towards your house, stepped up and knocked on your door. James, one of your childhood friends, opened the door and grinned at him.

“Sherlock!” James exclaimed and opened his arms; Sherlock awkwardly stepped in and accepted the hug. James ushered him in and guided him through the throng of people.

“She was worried you couldn’t make it.” James said through the music.

“She’s worried for nothing, mum insisted I dress up for tonight.” Sherlock sighed and followed James, squeezing himself amongst the people.

“You look fine. As always.” James smiled and pointed towards the kitchen where you were standing. It was true, Sherlock, of all your childhood friends, had the best sense of style. His build was made for a fashion magazine and he commands the room with just his charisma and confidence.

“Have I missed the cake?” Sherlock asked.

“Nope, she was waiting for you. You always had the honor to bring out the cake, we’re not breaking tradition.” James chuckled and nodded at him. Sherlock made his way towards you, his eyes burning and his heart beating madly when he saw you and your new beau.

As much as he loves you, he hates your choice of men. He hates your ignorance to the fact that he is actually in love with you. He’s unbelievably and irrevocably in love with you, for years now, and until now, you still fail to notice it. Sherlock has no clue how he could feel something so strong, something so deep for you. He tried to find answers to questions why and how, and by now, he’s given up on it. He simply just loves you.

He's not one to voice out his sentiments, but he’s dangerously close to doing so. He’s had enough years of pining. He’s had enough of comforting your broken heart due to your taste in boyfriends. He’s had enough of watching you from the shadows, afraid to say the rhythm of his heart.

And tonight, might just be the night because your new boyfriend is showing signs of red flags and Sherlock doubts you have a clear sense of mind to dump the guy.

Sherlock approached you, unbothered if you were still talking to your boyfriend. From the corner of your eye, you saw him make his way to you; his unmistakable and iconic mess of curls, his crisp white shirt topped with his navy jumper, and his bright blue eyes. You turned to him and excused yourself from Vance, your new friend, and giddily ran towards him.

In instinct, Sherlock opened his arms and hugged you. You were the only privileged one to receive his special warm hug, and he hoped you knew that. That you were the only one, the only special one.

“I missed you.” you breathed against his neck. It was true, you missed him dearly and from that moment on, you promised yourself that you’d enjoy the rest of the night. Sherlock was now here, with you, and there’s no point in being a party pooper.

“I missed you too.” Sherlock whispered. He hesitantly drew away from your embrace and pulled out his present to you.

“You shouldn’t have!” you gasped as you wrapped your hands around his gift.

“And what? Miss on tradition? Plus, I doubt you’d hate this one.” Sherlock said, trying to hide his smile.

“I never hate your presents.”

“You actually do, especially the one I got for your 16th.” he smirked and it earned a heart laugh from you.

“Oh yeah, that one’s terrible.” you said and swore to open his present after the party. He nodded and agreed it would be best that way.

“So, should we bring out the cake?” Sherlock asked. You nodded and guided him to the refrigerator where the cake was chilling. He insisted you stay in the main circle and gather around your guests as he prepared the candles.

When he walked in the kitchen, everyone was there; some of your childhood playmates like him: Connor, Bradley, Jana, Layla, James, and Maggie, and some new faces probably from your uni.

Sherlock commenced the singing, and everyone followed, singing and clapping to the tune. With the cake in his hands, he stood next to you and placed the cake in front of you. He silently sang, his voice blending amongst the chorus, and intently watched you.

Your eyes bright, the glow of the candles reflecting in your dark irises. Your lips, shyly grinning. Age treated you well as grew beautifully into a young, elegant woman. Sherlock was in awe whilst his mind played the flashbacks of your past birthdays, in each celebration, you get undeniably pretty and in every year that passes, you become his definition of beauty. Your eyes, your lips, and your heart and your mind.

He was pulled out of his reverie when everyone stopped singing, and the room went silent as you closed your eyes and made your wish. With a smile, you blew out the flames of the candle, and everyone cheered, happy to celebrate another year with you. He registered your movements and felt a swift punch in his gut when you embraced the man next to you, Vance, before finally hugging him. You drew Sherlock in, rather tightly. And silently wished it was just the two of you. When you both pulled away from the hug, Sherlock smiled at you and wished you a happy birthday.

“I’m happy now, now that you’re here,” you admitted, your tongue slipping but you caught yourself before you could say more.

“I’ll always be here.” Sherlock reassured you and squeezed your hand.

But the moment was broken when Vance announced you should cut the cake. You hesitatingly parted from Sherlock’s close presence and urged everyone to get their own plates so you could serve them. With you occupied entertaining your guests with laughter and cake, Sherlock unsuspectingly slipped out of the room, and finally left your house.

He marched out and exhaled the breath he was holding in, slightly relieved to be finally away from the riff raff. Just as he was nearing the end of your house’ laneway, he heard his name being called and he mustered all his strength to face you.

“You haven’t had cake.” you said.

“It’s fine,” he replied and turned back.

“You didn’t say goodbye.”

“Why would I?” Sherlock replied. His anger started to simmer because your voice sounded so innocent in his ears, he was angry at your inability to read and follow the trail of clues he’s leaving. He’s sick and tired of playing around, pretending he didn’t feel anything for you, when in truth; it’s maddening, this pent of torrent of sentiment reserved, made, and felt only for you.

“What’s wrong, Sherlock?” you asked warily and walked towards him.

“What’s wrong? What’s wrong is that guy, is a mass of red flags. Don’t come near me when you’ve got your heart broken all over again, Y/N. Because I'm tired of it.” Sherlock seethed, pointing at the window, hoping, hell— praying, you understand what he’s saying.

Personally, I think you’d be better with somebody like me, Sherlock thought.

“Vance and I are just friends, Sherlock.”

“Just like you and I, just friends, isn't it?” he spat the word friends as if it was full of venom, poison of the worst kind.

“Sherlock, you're so much more of a friend to me, please…” you begged, your eyes now brimming with tears.

“Am I? Am I so much more of a friend to you Y/N? Then tell me why can’t you see, why can’t you feel, what I feel for you?”

“Sherlock I—”

“I’m in love with you, Y/N.” Sherlock said, his voice dripping with sincerity. He watched his breath floating in the air, and the words slipping out of his mouth. He felt a great weight leave his shoulders, and his heartbeat thunder against his ribcage. He bowed his head, and slowly turned, hoping to leave freely right after his hasty admission.

You, however, were taken aback at how he said it. Could it be out of jealousy? Could it be the mere fact that he is in love with you? Who knows? All you know is that you feel the same.

To say you were scared is an understatement, you were a coward to not let him know. Your mind was always clouded with the doubt that you might shock him with your admission and scare the shit out of him, and eventually break your friendship. It's the last thing you want. And so, you suffered in silence, and daydreamed about being together for a long time. But now, he’s said it, he made the first move, and you’ve never felt emboldened to admit that you feel just the same.

Unaware, your eyes started to sting with tears that started to free flow and your lips curved into a smile. All you could do was look at him, frozen in place.

“I, I apologize for making you cry, it is still your birthday after all. Please forgive me, Y/N. Here—” Sherlock said, and walked the short distance between you. He fished a handkerchief from his pocket and moved to wipe the tears from your face. Delicately, as if you were made of glass, he banished away your tears, staining his white hanky.

He cradled your face in his hands, which were warm against the cold air, and you closed your eyes, relishing the gentle contact. You pulled him closer to you, in an effort to feel his warmth, to feel him. When you opened your eyes, you saw his bright blue gaze burning you. It was a flame ignited of love and hope, it was safe and secure, a flame that burned brightly, strongly, yet tender.

“Sherlock…” you breathed his name and held on to his hand.

“Y/N.”

“I’m in love with you too.” you said in great confidence, utterly happy to have your feelings known.

“Is he really just a friend?” he asked after a beat, his voice vibrating against your skin.

“He is.” you offered him a small smile.

“Good, because I’m going to seal this with a kiss.” Sherlock said. The two of you broke into smiles before he leaned in. He dipped his head low, and you stood up to meet his lips. When your mouths touched for the first time, you gently hummed against his lips. His next kiss was more confident and you responded in kind, together you shared the same passion, the same kind of love that ran through your veins.

“I’ll definitely pass up on the cake.” his voice rumbled against your chest and you stole a kiss.

“Why?” you curiously asked.

“Cause your lips are much more delicious, much softer than the chiffon…” he said and that earned a giggle from you.

“Are you flirting with me, Sherlock Holmes?” you exhaled, if a little breathy.

“I am, is it working?”

“You’re a romantic. C’mon let’s get back inside.” you said and held on to his hand. It felt natural, it felt perfect.

“What? Can’t we just stay here?”

“And what, leave my guests? No. Plus I’m freezing.”

“Fine, give me one more kiss, just to help me get through the night.” Sherlock smirked and pointed at his lips.

You obliged and giggled, playfully pushing him away once he tried to deepen the kiss. When you separated and linked your hands together, you realized you just had your birthday wish come true, and couldn’t wait to spend another year with him, but this time, you’d get through the year together, holding hands.

Who is more likely to get jealous?

I think Vincent and Lovely are pretty confident in their relationship so that neither would be particularly prone to jealousy. There was one time, however, when a neighboring clan’s leader did very clearly have the hots for Vincent. They weren’t subtle at all with their flirtations and not only that, but they treated Lovely like they weren’t even in the room because they weren’t a vampire, insinuating that vampires never considered non-vamp partners as committed because immortal commitment was inherently different. Vincent was appalled, but Lovely was still wildly jealous. They couldn’t help but hang off of Vincent’s arm the whole night and they even might have indulged in a little secret electrifying of that vampire’s materials, meaning their clothes somehow developed a massive amount of static and all of their electrical devices died that night. Vincent had to keep himself from laughing so that no one would suspect Lovely.

What was the most surprising thing they learned about one another once they started dating?

Lovely was very surprised that Vincent had a soft spot for animals. On the outskirts of the Solaire territory, there are a few vamps who have a small farm. Vincent likes to visit at night so he can talk to the cows and horses as they bed down in the barn, talking to them and petting them for hours. He takes Lovely there on nights they plan to stay up late. When Lovely asks him why he loves them so much, he tells them, “Look at their eyes, so big and deep and soft. They’re such big animals, but gentle. Amazing.” Even so, Lovely is not surprised at all when Vincent emphatically insists that he could never actually live or work on a farm.

Vincent was surprised to learn that Lovely was so ready to accept the magical world. Most humans often defaulted to denial when they were first informed about them, even those with powers, but Lovely never did. Late one night, he makes a comment about it and Lovely shares with him they were so ready to believe in the existence of the magical world because they wanted magic to be true. When they were a teen, they would get picked on and harassed constantly, and they would always imagine having special powers with which to fight back and to protect other people like them who were common targets for bullies. “In fact,” Lovely admits, “I would imagine myself having all different powers. Super strength, super speed, and sometimes, even little lightning bolts that would shoot from my fingers.”

two things first, at some point when Klaus' hair grows out I need Caroline to make a remark about how 'wow i really do love you' because the true mark of love is if you're still into someone after they've changed their hairstyle. never mind the fact that it's a better one that's still a fact. and then have her explain the hair thing. Like it's such a modern day she read it in a teen vogue vague memory detail that it's hilarious. just saying that to a 1k year old horror story vamp?? amazing. 1/2

But actually I gave Klaus' hair thing a little context, though I don't think anybody will remember 🤣 I am INSANE about Klaus' S3/S4 general look cause of the longer hair, and at the end of TW2 there's a scene where Caroline mentions his hair has gotten longer since he spent such a long time as a wolf int he woods, and then she tells him she likes his hair like that and he should keep it longer, hence why he's got the new look.

One is the AU starting when David and Darlin are teens and Gabe kind of adopts Darlin - Scars That Remind. And the other is a whole different AU where Darlin is going to be attacked by Quinn and some vamps in the woods, make a break for it, and end up running into a camping HUXLEY!

"Great work tonight, girls, but Rosita, you need to be a little more... snarly, ya know?" Peter said to the girls as he walked back to this dressing room. "Still, excellent work! Got a great audience reaction, expect a li'l somethin' in your next checks!"

Peter was shockingly in a good mood this evening, but it's been a pretty good day, he wasn't going to question it. After all, when is the last time he's been this positive?

He came to his dressing room door, about to put the key in, until he noticed the door was slightly ajar.

Well, there goes his positive mood, someone broke in. Again. It could be anyone at this point, really. Human, vampire, whatever you consider obsessed fans, either way, Peter reached for the knife he kept hidden on his person nowadays, and carefully opened the door.

He was surprised to find it wasn't really anyone that threatening, it was actually just Aro, looking over his make up with a judgmental look. Peter clucked his tongue and opened the door. "It's rude to go through people's things."

"Not when you leave it out in the open like this." Aro commented without looking at him, studying a bottle of liquid eyeliner. "I could get you better makeup than this, dear, all of this is cheap and possibly filled with lead."

"You lived in the era where lead was in everythin', it's fine." Peter replied as he closed the door, approaching the mirror and began to remove his wig and fake beard. He could see Aro watching him in the mirror and he raised an eyebrow. "Yeah?"

"You're in a rather decent mood, normally you complain when I break in."

"Mm, been havin' a good day, even you can't ruin it." Peter smirked as he shook his head, trying to do something with his hair once he removed the wig cap. He made a face, running his fingers through the slightly sweaty mess, time for a shower, he'll get one when he gets back up to the penthouse.

"Oh?" The vampire leaned against the table, giving him a coy smile. "Wish to tell me about it?"

Peter snorted, giving him a smirk. "As if you're curious." He leaned forward, kissing the other man on the lips. "How was work?"

The coy smile dropped and Aro sighed, rolling his eyes. "Disastrous, still haven't gotten everything dealt with up north."

"Do ya need me to do a job for you?" The hunter asked as he looked himself over, then grabbed for the makeup remover to clean his fake tattoos off.

"No, no, this doesn't require you hunting. This is..." Aro waved a hand about. "Politics, you know how it is. Politics and teenagers."

"A dangerous combination, hope they don't have twitter and tumblr accounts."

"I... possibly not." Aro made a face. "Anyway, enough of that talk. I thought you'd be a bit more excited to see me, it has been a month."

"I'm very excited, vamp, but right now I'm tryin' to clean my makeup off, that's a task and a half."
