We arrived pretty late on Monday and just had time to have a one hour workout session and go grocery shopping.

I am in the Canary Islands with one of my friend and she and I want to eat as healthy as possible, hike and work out as much as we can and explore the beautiful landscapes of Tenerife. 😍

At the market, There were these crazy green things that looked like Hulks, um... ‘fists’ that were covered in spikes. The sign read CHAYOTE, but looked nothing like the ones I encountered in the states. I decided to get one to mess with. I asked the best way to prepare it, and the nice vendor replied “Caldo, con garbanzo”.. so, breakfast is Chayote soup with Chickpeas and other Vegetables grown in Tenerife.. Did not expect This Chayote to be so starchy, like a potato. Taste a bit like Turnip though. My goal was always to create a vegan army online. I should have written down on that goal ‘100% quality people, no toxic ones’ because a few bad apples did end up in the bunch and fucked it up for a lot of people.

Overall though Im really happy with how much reach all these channels have had and continue to have. I was in my local woolworths this morning and posted vegan magnums on my insta. Went back a few hours later and most of them had sold out. Id say most of those purchases were from people inspired to eat vegan foods after watching youtube content that came from people who I inspired to create content or I helped them one on one to be content creators.In 2014 I did an epic long distance ride and listened to an audible file called ‘Wheelmen’ and it talked about the guys behind pro cycling as it is today. I wanted to be a behind the scenes person in making the online vegan community go viral. Back then I was easily the biggest vegan channel and there was nobody else really getting the views i was getting. I didnt like that because what if people found my content but didnt like me? That means we lost potential vegans. I manipulated a situation to create massive incentive for people to follow my career template online and it worked so fucking successfully.

I was the first vegan cyclist in Adelaide smashing it fitness wise. Now there is so many crew here doing really well. Even non vegan SASI riders who eat a lot of vegan meals because of my vids. The feedback I get local and international is insane. Im constant topic of many a cafe conversation because of the stream of content I continue to put out.

‘I create social media success stories’. I wrote that back in 2011 before I even knew what that mean or believed it to be true. Spooky hey! Plant Based News put me in one of their videos recently. I remember Klaus who started that channel. I told him to make a channel and report on stuff. He was a mad fan of mine riding around Tenerife making videos and tagging me in the titles and sending them to me. I gave him advice about his blood clots in his legs. Im glad he took me up on that youtube direction cos its quite a helpful channel for a lot of crew (even if some of the carb phobic stuff I dont agree with)Id say 90% of the big vegan channels now I helped start up in person or they were inspired to make a it a career choice after I flashed cash etc in all those troll but not troll vids.

Im anything but frustrated in that regards. :)
