Another thing that I appreciate about TFA StarOp is the sheer comedic potential of it all. Yes from the Autobot “you’re dating WHO” side, but also from a Decepticon perspective. Like, you have Air Commander Starscream, who is considered to be one of, if not the most attractive flyer in the entire Armada. He’s like the pinnacle of Seeker aesthetics, huge wings and all that, and you hear that he’s apparently found himself someone. Oh, you think, damn, wonder who the lucky guy is, only for the news to be broken that it’s this random, tiny-ass red and blue spacebridge repair crew Autobot, in other words, just some guy. And there he is, with his arm wrapped around your Air Commander’s waist because that’s how fucking short he is. What the fuck.

Date Night

TF: ROTB Mirage X (human) reader

A very special day has arrived where you go on a lovely date with your awesome goofy alien robot boyfriend Mirage. Planning to watch the gleaming stars of wonders up in the dark sky is going to be such a wonderful time for you and . Once you threw on your (f/c) mini dress and a bit of makeup, you slipped your flats on and stepped outside your home where Mirage awaits you. His blue energetic eyes widened when he held his head down to look at you. “Wow, (Y/n), you look…” Mirage motioned his eyes upwards and downwards, gazing upon you admiringly, “You look beautiful.” 

Your cheeks swirled into a warm heated red colour, “Thank you, Mirage.” 

Mirage smiled as he transformed into a Porsche 911 car, he flipped open the car door wide for you, “Shall we go, my lady?” 

“Let’s go.” you entered inside the car form of Mirage, seating at the front where the wheel is. Mirage closed the front door afterwards and drove off down the road while you settled down to relax, letting your alien robot do the driving as always. 

The two of you finally arrived at the destination. An edge of the cliff, a great spot to watch the stars. As soon as you exited the car, Mirage transformed back to his robotic form. “Amazing view..” you set your (e/c) eyes on the  stratosphere that is filled with stars sparkling out of it. 

Mirage sat onto the rocky ground, carefully not to sit too close towards the edge of the cliff otherwise he would end up falling down. You climbed on top of him to sit yourself down onto his lap. 

“Oh how I love to watch stars at night..” You spoke in a soft manner, your eyes being shone on by the stars of heavens. It begins to get cold as the beautiful night goes on, Mirage cuddles you with his gigantic robotic hands around you, being extra careful not to crush you to death. 

“A beautiful night, isn’t it?” Mirage set his glowing blue eyes on the dark sky, watching the stars shooting in different directions. Those stars somehow reminded him of his home planet Cybertron. He wishes to take you one day but would be too risky and Optimus would never allow it. 

“Yeah it is, our own heaven of dreams.” your voice dropped in a soft, soothing manner. You leaned your head back to Mirage’s chest while holding his big hand with your small adorable hand. 

 “A happy place where we can just be ourselves.” Mirage added, shining a smile of joy across his face. You carefully climbed up to his charming face to peck a kiss to his silver lips. “I love you so much, Mirage.” you warmed his machine heart with your loving words. You couldn’t tell if he was blushing or not. Robots can hardly blush since they’re alien robots from outer space. “I love you too, my little spark.” Mirage replied, stroking your hair softly with his robotic finger. 

You cuddled his face with your arms planted on it, feeling the heat of warmth floating over you and your whole body is no longer feeling shivery. You swept back down to sit on his lap once again after cuddling his adorable face for a bit. 

A goofy robotic alien and a sweet human girl spend the rest of the evening watching the stars together. Talking, flirting, complimenting each other and making out a drawing from the gorgeous midnight sky, connecting each little sparkle to see what they came up with. 

You wish this beautiful moment with Mirage would never end…

(A/n) - Damn, I never knew I would write this and I am shockingly in love with an alien robot. Mirage is such a goofball and I love that guy sm! :'') I've watched the new Tranformers movie on Friday with a good friend of mine and it turned out to be quite good. Some people may disagree with me on this but it is surprisingly much better then the previous Transformers movies. Just saying. Anyway, this may look shite but I hope you all like it.

We commissioned @ VansZero (discord) & worked with them to make this four panel fancomic "That's So Lovely Sibling," focusing on Gauge & Sideswipe, he did such an awesome job with the art in our opinion. Hi there!

I've been reading your latest posts and I must say you phrased my thoughts exactly.

The plot has huge holes in them at this point especially the part about the way the trial went down since both armand and lestat should have been able to stop it considering the state they were both in.

And I do feel like louis and claudia were both dumbed down, letting stuff happen because the plot had to go there.

I can't start with lestat I believe his character has taken the worst hits.

Lots of people on here believe that all this will somehow be fixed or explained by rewrites and retconning through lestats pov in season 3.

I get where that hope comes from since thus is sort of what Anne did herself in tvl, but my gut ( Also the vibe I got from rolins interviews) tells me otherwise.

I think the writing suffers from wanting to keep things interesting and avoiding cliches but common sense and character consistency gets sacrificed for campy plot twists.

I'll definitely await with excitement to see season 3 but with a grain of salt.

Hi Anon! Yes, there are a lot of glaring plot holes and all the characters had to be dumbed down for the story to work the way it does.

Armand is shown to be extremely powerful one moment and then completely clueless and incompetent the next. We're expected to buy the flimsy explanation that he's cornered and overpowered by the coven—whose thoughts he could easily read at any point—because he was too distracted by...check notes...𝐿𝑜𝓋𝑒 💖 💕✨

I would have actually preferred if he'd been the one to orchestrate the whole trial rather than the flimsy explanation RJ and the cast have given that he was simply too scared to intervene. Better a moustache-twirling villain than the weak pathetic wet blanket they made him into.

I also agree that Lestat takes the worst hit here because I'll die on the hill that he would have NEVER, of sound body and mind, agreed to participate in a trial meant to humiliate and murder his own family by subjecting them to what is essentially a public lynching.

I know the writers were backed into a corner because they needed a reason why Lestat shows up in Paris. In this version, he's not severely injured and he's way too powerful for the coven to subdue him. But it just doesn't work.

The inconsistent power levels also make it very hard to understand what's going on. They tell us Lestat has a godlike strength; he has the blood of Akasha in him and he's so OP that not even Louis and Armand combined can kill him. So why did he just sit by as his daughter was burned? Why did he not simply kill everyone in the room and rescue her and Louis if his goal in coming to Paris was to save them? Who tf knows. Even the actors were confused about it.

We're also supposed to believe the great Vampire Armand, the strongest telepath to ever exist, is outsmarted by a human journalist with a laptop—whose thoughts he could easily read at any point. His 77-year machiavellian scheme is undone by the intervention of Talamasca ex-machina, who just so happened to have the exact document Daniel needed to crack the case. My belief is suspended so high it's touching the stratosphere. 😂

Concerning potential retcons, my policy going forward is that unless it's shown or implied on the screen, it does not exist. I don't think fans should have to do the writer's job for them by inferring and imagining obscure justifications and explanations that were not given by the show. We already had the retconning debate after season 1. It went on for 2 years, only for none of those theories to end up coming true. The drop still happened, everything in S1 still stands. NOTHING was retconned, only shown from a slightly different perspective. But apparently, people have an extremely short memory and they've learned nothing because we're back to the same silly nonsensical theories.

I know I said I've reached acceptance so I'll stop talking about it but yeah...It's a hot mess. I really hope that the writers do better in S3 now that they're not under the constant pressure of a strike. I hope they take the time to craft a good and coherent story. The amazingly talented cast and crew deserve nothing less.

How did they first meet?

we met in a teacher prep program in college! most education majors have all the same classes together (especially at smaller schools) so we never really had a moment away from each other. he was either the only, or one of like two, men in the entire program. he was wanted by everyone who likes men in that gd major let's be real. we got assigned to do a project together to make a unit plan :))))

What was their "flirting stage" like?

our flirting was roasting the shit out of each other. HOWEVER he would do small things like get me coffee "just because he passed it" when it was most definitely out of the way. he would always compliment me in some way and it sent me to the stratosphere every single time. his flirting was more subtle unlike mine because I would full on short circuit and stumble out a compliment or ask about his day because I was down horrendously.

Who initiated the relationship, and how did they go about it?

he did (THANK GOD). sort of forward about it too? like not full on "do you want to go on a date?' but like asking if I wanted to do something and then tagging on "like a date" at the end. I also definitely see us going on a few dates and in his head we are already together so when he calls me his partner I'm so confused and he hits me with the "omfg did I not ask you??" y e a h

What are their primary love languages?

suga likes giving words of affirmation and receiving physical touch while I like giving gifts (I am a trinket connoisseur like a fucking crow) and receiving physical touch as well. while it clashes sometimes, especially with words of affirmation (I am NOT good with words) we make it work by genuinely not leaving each other tf alone and constantly touching one another. he also has a whole little shelf dedicated to all of the bullshit trinkets I give him, probably has some at school too. I eventually conjoined both my love for giving gifts and his need for words of affirmation. he probably has about 20 rocks that came with the stupid ass note of "you rock" or some euphemism "you make me rock hard" I would totally do this and that makes me want to die

Do they prefer verbal or physical affection?

now this may go against what I said in the last one, it makes sense in my head though hear me out. we are both teachers. during the school week about 2 hours after we get home we REFUSE to touch each other. we are both so ungodly overstimulated and the thought of being touched and cuddled makes us both want to crawl in our own skin. those times are for verbal affection. anytime after those 2 hours it is most definitely physical affection (ig this counts as verbal affection as well) but I have moments where I self deprecate and I most definitely see him just yelling at the top of his lungs "STOP IT STOP IT STOP IT IM GOING TO THROW SOMETHING AT YOU YOU'RE PERFECT SHUT YOUR MOUTH" also the man to hold my hand and physically move me so he's on the side of the sidewalk that's closest to the street

THIS ONE IS MY FAVORITE!!! RAHHHHH IM YAPPING (also includes sexual themes** OOPS SORRY LMAO) so I celebrate pagan holidays (samhain, yule, solstices, etc...) he is wholeheartedly HERE FOR IT! the one that pops to my head immediately (and all practices are different this is just how I do mine) the 12 days leading up to yule (dec 21) you make wishes and burn them randomly each day, the wish you didn't burn on the 21 is the wish that YOU work on (all the rest will happen organically). he does this with me <3333 he makes his own wishes and everything!!! he gets really into it and tries to guess the wish I didn't burn before I tell him <33 **I also had the thought about celebrating ostara (spring equinox) and this may just be too foul for main BUT it's basically celebrating new growth, the start of spring, and....fertility. this man will wholeheartedly ask, EVERY YEAR, "should we fuck on ostara to really LOCK IN the vibes?" yeah...y e a h but a tradition that isn't apart of a holiday is just going on a date every weekend. we force ourselves to do SOMETHING on the weekend to combat stress from school. whether that's staying in and doing something or physically going on, we have to do something and it's written in stone at this point
