i think that a lot of trans girl memes about eggs or transitioning or whatever are like, inherently sexual in a way that a lot of trans boy ones aren't (see previous post) .. and that this is not at all a bad thing, actually. it's quite reassuring to know that the experience of existing as a confused boy becoming a girl on a testosterone based endocrine system (read: perpetually horny and perpetually feeling guilty for it) isn't something isolating but is instead to some extent another shared little anxiety of the past that we can all laugh about together. the issue of course becomes when non trans women see these jokes or whatever, abhorrent depictions of (pre!) tranny sexuality in its culpable, skirt tented perversion of intimacy as something not shameful or to be buried but in a way celebrated. to them it just slots so neatly into the "trannies are degenerate groomers" side of things they have going on, bathrooms and olympic sports. the noble gnc cis person, of course, would never have such erotic bodily reactions to crossdressing. the loathsome tranny, however..

sure wish people on the internet could talk about transmasc people like actual human beings who wake up every day and live in a world that wants us fucking dead but yeah all the jokes about being the weakest link in the trans community or how disgusting and unappealing our bodies are are sooooo funny. and it’s so important to keep policing our appearance and how we discuss our real lived experience with transphobia and misogyny incase we don’t accidentally say or do something exactly like a cis man would. but also keep making sure that we’re soft and cute and quiet and hairless because we don’t want to be too gross and yucky like those real men i mean—fuck
