I discovered your vegaspete fic a while ago when you were still around chapter 13, and I think it's safe to say it has changed my life. I remember putting off everything just to catch up on all the chapters when I was about 2 paragraphs in chapter 1 realising I found gold, and I remember spending every waking moment thinking about that fic and even now I think about it at the very least once a week, it's insanely good. :D Once I caught up on the chapters I had so many question, so I used my notes app to put my questions and thoughts down. With my list of questions in hand I decided to read the whole thing again see if I missed anything. Reading the story the second time was just as good and I found I missed so many little details and nuances-and all of my questions were answered for me. You're brilliant, I could sing your praises all day if I had the words! Their characterisation is the best thing I have ever read honestly, so complex and so human!!!

I was in the middle of preparations for my final exams when chapter 16 came out then not shortly after you released chapter 17 and I swore to myself that reading those chapters would be my treat after getting through my exams. I knew that reading them before my exams would easily take up 90% of my brain capacity for weeks, so I had to make some sacrifices. Well, I'm all caught up on the chapters and I am SO VERY tempted to read the whole thing again. I thought that the story would get boring or predictable after a while but no you've proved me wrong. My jaw is on the floor and I can't even imagine how the story will continue, but I can't wait to find out.

I've been meaning to say hello and let you know I admire your work and I am very grateful that you share this masterpiece with us, but I just never really knew how to say it. :D I'm here to show my support and let you know I wish you nothing but the very best. THANK YOU :)

DAI — not as a rule, but there are a few exceptions. he doesn't mind so much as long as he can sit in a corner and watch his friends enjoy themselves MINAH — yeah! she loves a social event; she enjoys seeing people and seeing (or being) entertainment. lots to do, plenty of pockets to pick, and generally a fun time overall!

F2. What’s their ideal home look like? Where is it?

DAI — a small, cozy, two-story house in a city he knows. the kind of place where people can come and go and stay when they need to, but where he can also retreat to somewhere warm and sunny and quiet when he needs. the selto townhouse came close, to be honest, except that it wasn't anywhere near home. whatever else happens, his roots are in airedon. MINAH — a big house, filled with family. gone.

L2. What do you consider the biggest themes in your character, if any?

DAI — not to fall back on his divine aspects but it's shields and the sun. standing between people and danger, being a light in the dark, burning himself up, unflinching and solid no matter how many times he's struck. good golden boy 💛 MINAH — masks. performing all the time, even to yourself, even until you aren't sure when or where the performance ends. also rootlessness: always on the move, ungrounded, unable to ever return home again and knowing you wouldn't be the same person even if you could go back

OHHHH SUCH A GOOD QUESTION AMIRA THANK YOUUUU <3333 I've put a lot of thought and research into this! I'm also exposing my cringe internal happenings!

So, I've learned a lot about the Japanese language after all these years of being interested in learning it, and a big thing about learning it was that the language itself doesn't have very many pet names/nicknames/terms of endearment for partners! There's a few here and there, but in general the culture of calling your partner something other than their name or using suffixes, (Which, I don't feel too comfortable using suffixes, as I am not Japanese!) isn't very common! I find it a very interesting contrast with that knowledge, seeing as anyone who is English-speaking or any language that does have pet names in general will understand how integral they are to the language and expressing love and affection! I love using pet names and them being used for me, but not all cultures do that which is equally as interesting! BUT- my main point being, it does match Giyuu's personality a lot in fact for him to not really use them, but rather save them for the more rare/intimate moments of our lives. I notice that acts of service/silent acts of affection in general are more popular among his culture anyway! But he has picked up a few English terms of endearment that he does really like! So the only thing I could see him using every once in a while is "Anata (あなた)" Meaning very simply: you! It's a term of endearment often used between married couples! So it makes a lot of sense, given that we are in fact married! So yeah! BUT for me? I'm a bit annoying with it! Prepare yourself for gross marital cringe but also some funnies. below is a list of things I've called Giyuu: My love Love of my life My everything My fluffy-haired husband Mr. Gym Teacher Mr. You Punched My Son In The Face (Pre-marriage)

Autism on Wheels (He doesn't understand this one, very autism on wheels of him, but I relate!) Obligatory baby talk nicknames as well that I won't disclose, because I'm a chronic baby-talker (Once again blaming the autism, I've always talked like this, it's very affectionate to me!!) The way he reacts to them has always been funny to me, but also VERY endearing! He gets very flustered when I stack multiple of them together (which happens often, i'm gross!) and he seems to really like the simple ones like "My love", it just makes him feel special I think! Also anything appearance-specific I say he also gets really flustered over, he just doesn't think about me perceiving him that much, but alas, I perceive him a lot!

I think the one that will always kill me, no matter how many times I see it, is always self tickles. Something about nails dragging up and down the stomach, or the legs, or the feet… it makes me go completely feral. Like WHY CANT IT BE ME DOIN THAT. Plus I’m a degen foot guy, so bonus points for soft dragging fingers on soles and arches and toes and now I’m daydreaming just thinkin bout it so THANKS I GUESS.

💛 favorite SPOTS?:

At the risk of being very corny, I lowkey wanna say all of them. It’s hard for me to pick a favorite because my ler style can vary heavily based on what spots are most fun to toy with on the lee. Instead of my ler style focusing on favorite spots to tickle, I focus instead on what will get the best reaction out of the lee, which doesn’t always mean that it’s there worst spot (pretentious I know). Sure, if a lee has a super ticklish tummy, like it’s their worst spot, I’m going to love to tickle it. But what if their less ticklish thighs make them giggle constantly and kick their feet? Like… that’s adorable how can I not go for that.

But to stop avoiding the question:

Sides are a number one spot. So much area to tickle, and the lee gets jumpy as all hell.

Thighs are number two. Again, so much surface area, and so much wiggly tendencies.

And number three, I gotta say feet. It’s fun to watch toes curl and spread depending on what I’m doing with em.

Thank you so much for these asks! I am trying to take some time to myself tonight and these questions are a great excuse to think about the fabulous fun that is fanfic.

what’s the fic you're most proud of?

The fic I’m most proud of goes back and forth…I’m proud of different fics for different reasons…And also sort of depends on my mood at the time. I think in the past I’ve said Endure for similar questions… But I guess if I had to just pick one to be my legacy this evening, with my current frame of mind, I would probably choose Interpreter (Thryce). I am a Luke girl first and foremost, but Thrawn being an alien and Imperial allows me to indulge in two of my favorite kinks: language and uniforms, with a healthy side of power dynamics and hot for teacher fun. So…that one is a real fave. So much Cheunh, so much military protocol muwahaha I really had fun with it.

15. How do you think your writing as improved over time?

That’s an awesome question and to be honest, I’m not sure it has. I sometimes read older fics and there will be a phrase I wrote that I’m like “damn I don’t write like this anymore.” I think I have gotten lazier as time has gone on, as real life kicks my ass and prevents me from spending more time on my fic, so in general I’m not sure I’ve improved, sadly.

I guess one thing though—I have started to see patterns in my writing and tried to avoid them consciously. I hate using the same words/phrases over and over—and always want to find original ways to say things. I know there is the lament of how many different ways can you describe an orgasm or whatever, but I sort of love and hate the challenge of trying to infuse new and interesting vocabulary and imagery into my stories. So maybe that’s one way it’s improved.

16. Do you re-read old fics? Is there a time in your writing you won’t go back to?

ALL THE TIME. Today at work I gave myself a tea break and reread Martial Arts, just because someone had reblogged one of my old Tumblr posts about it. Then I was like damn professor Thrawn is hot and wanted to read more. So while standing in line at the post office I started rereading Cold Comfort cause I still wanna sequel that, and while stuck in a boring moment I pulled up Containment to remind myself that I did actually write fic this year. Hahah I will have to do my year end wrap up soon.

There is no time in my writing I won’t go back to…there are sometimes things I wrote that I skim over, not really cringe but within a story I find some parts less interesting or less rereadable than others, but nothing I’m super ashamed of… I will say the fic with the least rereads in my oeuvre is probably No Small Thing. I wrote Jaime/Brienne as an anomaly as a pinch hit for a fic exchange/good Samaritan deed, and it feels sometimes like someone else did it, hah. I love the fic, as I love all my children, but sorry Jaime, you don’t melt my butter like Luke or Thrawn.

Still, he has a nice butt

tea or coffee? coffee all the way! Drink it all day long - I can drink it almost black now, usually a little cinnamon and brown sugar stirred in. I do love matcha tea and iced tea with lemon, trying to become a tea drinker but they all taste the same to me.

dogs or cats? dogs! I am allergic to cats, so I think that's made me a little biased - but dogs are too good for this world. We don't deserve them.

can you play an instrument? Do air instruments count? Cause when I'm listening to music, I am the lead singer, guitar, and drums lol. But, no I wish! my husband plays guitar and I have a goal to learn, and I always wanted to learn piano too. I was a choir/theater kid not a band one.

what's your sign? My sun sign is Virgo (my moon is Sagittarius, I'm pretty sure my rising is also Sagittarius? I really want to learn more about astrology!)

oh gosh....hmm well "Keep Your Head Up" by Djo lives in my brain all day every day. I replay that song over and over again - it makes me feel better no matter what. I'm trying to think of a place that's totally wowed me - I go on a roadtrip almost every summer and I've been to 48 of the 50 states...I think the places that come to mind where I just took a minute and appreciated it all were the grand canyon and bryce canyon. The Grand Canyon - we slept in our car and woke up at this overlook and I saw the sunrise with no other people around over the canyon. CRAZY BEAUTIFUL. Bryce Canyon in Utah is just one of the coolest places, the landscape and nature changes throughout the hiking - pine trees and then suddenly beautiful orange rock and it's just hard to describe...

what's the last movie you watched? I just watched Zathura last night!

what languages do you speak? sadly, only English. I could introduce myself in Spanish - a few words here and there, but I'd love to learn more.

do you have any hobbies? I love reading and writing, photography - anything artsy really just drawing or painting, but photography is my main one. I love baking - particularly cinnamon rolls, and hiking/being outdoors.

you can hang out with one fictional character for an hour, who do you choose? this is cruel...how do I pick one...Spiderman.

compliment yourself: ha...um....you know what I'm gonna give myself two. A physical and a personality one because we deserve to love ourselves: I love my strong legs (14 years of dance baybee!) and I have a good 'never give up' attitude, resilient - for a pessimist I'm pretty optimistic.

I was very happy that the main character resolved this by talking to the people around her rather than trying to solve it by herself while drowning in thoughts.

And the later the first time. From talking to each other about their concerns, to their conversations and thoughts in between were in line with their characters.

Thats all I can say. Waiting for the last parts of the story and any possible oneshots👀👀 ( no pressure tho I know everything and everyone has their own pace)

Also I just want to confess that I am in love with Minho in this story. This tsundere personality. I can literally see the mimics that he can make.

you don't understand how excited i was to have the friend groups all together because i knew it would be so awkward at first bc all of reader's friends know who hyunjin and his friends are lmao. but yes, reader is growing and is trying to sort things out with other people instead of on her own. navigating being in love for the first time is scary so it's good to have good friends around who can help and won't just meddle, y'know? and all of the friends want the best for hyunjin and reader <3 also that smut scene is probably the most fun i've had writing smut in a looooooong time. it's usually such a chore but idk focusing on their feelings rather than the actual smut part really helped lmao

don't worry, there will be age-restricted oneshots. i already have a few in mind but obvs will take requests for them when requests open back up

as for march sadness, i did leave the end open to a possible season 2 lmao i thought it might be funny having everyone in on it this time so then it's even more embarrassing when they lose. idk what i'd have on the line though to motivate them to stay out of trouble
