Skater boy Aaron is real and true and canon (to me at least)

He is the poster boy for the early 2000s skater aesthetic

Part of the reason he continues skating in college is because he enjoys the heart attack it gives Kevin

Kevin doesn’t want him getting hurt and jeopardizing the team and his wellbeing

So Aaron makes sure he finds time to skate everyday

Aaron is a lover of pop culture and is just a fucking nerd dude

He loves Lord of the Rings and read Harry Potter as it came out (and also very actively hates JKR in the modern day)

Aaron Minyard is a chronic migraine girly

He’s a med student and athlete who gets very little sleep so his head constantly hurts

And yaknow what he’s a little bitch about it too

He is constantly complaining to Katelyn and using it as an excuse to be an asshole

(I love him so dearly)

I also think he is constantly cold and has terrible blood circulation

His hands and feet are always freezing

Years of drug use and constantly needing to take Advil for his headaches has just shot his cardiovascular system

So he’s constantly cold and doesn’t run a lot because his stamina is shit

He has a raging addiction to caffeine and his vice is RedBulls

His sleep schedule is absolutely wrecked from both Exy and school so he’s rarely ever without a RedBull in hand

I don’t think he cares a lot about his diet but he does try to keep it pretty nutrient packed bc he knows the benefits of it

But he also has a sweet tooth (not as strong as Andrew’s but still strong) and he favors baked goods like cake and banana bread and pastries

His vision is bad and it just keeps getting worse over the years but he doesn’t wear his glasses often

He usually resorts to contacts but has to switch to his glasses late at night or when his head is hurting extra bad

OKAY KEVIN FUCKING DAY

He loves tea

Like has an extensive tea collection and will spend the money to buy teas from around the world

He also has a mug collection (the Foxes start gifting him mugs every holiday when they find out about it)

His favorite mugs are his vintage Trojans mug, a “history is not boring” mug the Foxes gave him when he graduated, and a Hogwarts mug Aaron gave him

(they read the series together :P)

Kevin’s favorite areas of history to study are Ancient Rome and the history of Ireland

He’s fascinated by the Roman Empire and studying Ireland makes him feel more connected to his mother

I think he continues school on the side and eventually gets a doctorate degree and teaches a bit after he retires from Exy

He always tries to sign with teams in or near the cities the other OG Foxes are in because he doesn’t really know how to function without the familiarity of his people

Kevin works a lot on undoing his Raven dietary habits and since he’s surrounded by people who can’t cook he grows a love for frozen food as well as caffeine

I think he takes a few art classes and really enjoys it even though he doesn’t think he’s that great at it

He’s actually not bad at all and makes a lot of really cool pieces

Kevin exclusively wears 5 inch inseam shorts

Anything longer is blasphemous

He has basically zero sense of style and just kind of mimics what the others are wearing

Until Allison forces him to go to the mall with her and they spend hours building him a real wardrobe that is him

Most of his closest still consists of PSU and USC merch though

And truly would this even be me if I didn’t put kevaaron headcanons? No

Kevin is basically a human radiator, especially after practice

And that is a blessing directly from God in Aaron’s eyes

Kevin comes back from night practice and Aaron just clings to him, absorbing all of his heat as they fall asleep

Aaron is a chronic clothes stealer like he just has sticky fingers when it comes to Kevin’s wardrobe

They spend a lot of time together in the library

They’re both in quite intensive and workload heavy majors so they study together a lot

It happened more as an accident tbh like Aaron was heading to the library to study for a midterm

And basically all of PSU’s student body had the same idea so there was no open tables

But low and behold there was Kevin, alone at a table tucked in the back corner, typing away at his laptop

Aaron joins him without asking and it kinda just becomes their thing

Kevin joins Aaron at the library between regular and night practices

They spend most of their weekends there and bring each other caffeinated drinks and snacks

Eventually they’re not even studying half the time, they’re just talking and spending time with each other outside of Exy and the other Foxes curious glances and prying comments

Aaron takes a history class with Kevin but Kevin refuses to take any science class outside of his required credits

He’s not a science person so Aaron doesn’t take it personally

Kevin can never properly wrap his head around how strong Aaron actually is

It just doesn’t compute for him, like how can so much strength be packed into such a small body

But he is most definitely not complaining, especially not when that strength is so clearly but on display or used against him

Kevin is practically drooling anytime he watches Aaron body check a striker twice his size and send them sprawling onto the floor

They become each others partners/marks during practices and it is simultaneously the best and worst thing to ever happen

They’re just excessively flirting while tripping each other and fighting with their racquets

The other Foxes comment on their “weird and disturbing foreplay” every chance they get

I thought it would be for people with silver tickets too, I mean I think what most people would be most excited about is the m&g and you don’t get that with a silver ticket…it doesn’t make sense to only give it to people with standard tickets imo

I literally just watched the video again to check exactly what dnp said and they said "ANYONE who buys ANY ticket, any kind of ticket" (verbatim) has a chance of being upgraded so it's super weird that we're now hearing it's only for GA... What is going on like why is this so confusing 😭

please let's go back to the day who made me a princess chapter 100 came out when Diana showed up and everyone was freaking out

I remember that Diana was even a trending topic on Twitter 🤧

The golden days 💕

That was honestly one of my favorite moments in WMMAP's serialization!

I really love how Spoon handled Diana's character. The concept of a character haunting the narrative (at first figuratively, but in the end quite literally) is so compelling to me.

I don't even need to explain how important Diana was for Claude. All of his actions and, subsequently, the plot of the manhwa come from Claude's inability to cope with her death. He regularly has dreams and visions of her (that were later revealed to be Diana's ghost, but I also want some of them to be Claude's sad fantasies because that's kind of funny) and can't help but see Diana in Athy. The man is literally haunted by the memories of his lost love. Good stuff.

But she was also incredibly important to Lily, who dedicated her life to Diana's child and risked being murdered by Claude in more than one occasion. And died for her once. Of course, Lily loves Athy immensely, almost like her own daughter and not just because of Diana. Felix too remembers her very fondly.

And then there's Athy, who despite repeating again and again (almost as if she wanted to convince herself) that she can't possibly miss a mother she never knew, how could she do so when that's such a foreign concept to her, how could she mourn for someone she never had, actually does miss Diana. A whole lot.

Can we talk about this parallel? Please?

This is all common to the novel and the manhwa, but where Spoon's own take diverts from Plutus' is that she made Diana more of a character than a narrative device. Diana actually meets Athy, we get to see glimpses of her characterization through Claude's memories, she has actually been there with them all along. Literally. In soul-ghost form.

Lily called it all the way back in chapter 14

Don't get me wrong, I really like how in the novel Claude and Athy (more Claude than Athy, really) learn to move on from Diana's death. Athy mentions that she wouldn't mind if Claude decided to have a new relationship (not that he ever would, though) because he deserved it. Or how she apologized to Diana in her thoughts for being glad that Claude was moving on, even if that was selfish, because Claude wasn't just Diana's lover, he was also her dad, and she wanted him there for her, not endlessly chasing after a ghost. There's also this line about the visions Claude gave Athy becoming blurrier, after almost 20 years his memories of Diana were starting to fade away, even if she still appeared beautiful in Athy's dreams.

I think all of that is quite powerful and healthy. People shouldn't live for the dead, Athy taught that to Claude. It's a pretty realistic outlook on grief, so even if (or maybe because) it's less romantic, I love it. That's what Diana would have wanted as well.

But Diana wasn't really a character in the novel, and that's a very valid criticism of it. She was little more than a plot device. Which, no matter how in love I am with the character haunts the narrative idea, I can see how could be an issue for some people. This, in my opinion, is the best change the manhwa introduces to WMMAP. Spoon made Diana a real character, even with her limited screentime. I can tell it was an important moment for Spoon because she made a whole dedicated blog post about it. Chapters 100-101 were just amazing. And okay, Athy deserved to meet her mom. C'mon.

Chapter 100 makes me tear up every single time I read it and this was not an exception

It's a less realistic depiction of moving on from a loved one's death, but the end result is similar to the novel's. Athy notes that Claude started taking care of himself, and actually sleeps in his bed. She has dreams of the life the three of them could have had, but doesn't look back in anger or bitterness, but with love for the mother that was always looking over her.

Also call me corny, but I adore how love is literally the most powerful force in the narrative. Forget imperial mana and black magic, Diana's love for Athy and Claude was so great that she was able to affect the real world (despite being dead, despite how a part of herself had already reincarnated!) to save Athy and assure her of how much she loved her.

Yeah, I think these two being very parental is pretty obvious and pretty intentional! All jokes aside, Pomefiore trio really feels like it was written in a way that they would read as a family. We don’t usually like this trope because characters playing house could get pretty boring, and a lot of family-related tropes don’t resonate with us at all. So I am surprised to this day that we love Pomefiore’s vibes so much. I’m guessing that it’s because of how unusual of a family they are, how Epel actually fights with Vil a lot, and how he grows from being a little brat to being a little brat that is eager to grow and excited to show his senpais his new cool magic tricks, while they tease him but still are very proud and excited for him. Like, they’re strict and would smack him (well, Vil would) but they also want him to grow. Woah, that sounds way too wholesome ew lol

Anyways! Even if we exclude Epel, and this is another thing I’ve talked about a lot, I genuinely feel like Rook and Vil were intentionally written as a couple that has been together for quite some time, at least coding-wise. There are just too many tropes and situations that they have that are usually used for couples… Alright I’ll stop myself or I’ll rant about them again even though I just did a couple of weeks ago.

I would like to know your opinion about something (and other women's if they'd like to join).

Earlier this week I saw a post on instagram where woman says she does not wear any makeup on the red carpets. Really nothing more than that text and an edit of pictures of her. So many comments were insulting her looks, and I mean the top comments with thousands of likes. I won't get too much into what they were saying to her, but some of the stuff wouldn't even be able to be hidden with makeup (phisically impossible).

And I think to myself, women who wear makeup don't get this kind of treatment (at least not this blatant). They might even have obvious cosmetic procedures done, but people mostly don't comment that in their pictures? Their comment section is usually from girlboss women types.

It seems that people see women with makeup on, and even though they might see the same "imperfections" they see on a makeupless woman, they will think "At least she is trying".

This is something I think about SO much, because I have 100% seen this pattern, including in my own thinking, and it fascinates me. Some other examples of this phenomenon, in my opinion:

women starting social media videos with “I’m sorry I’m not wearing any makeup, I know I look like shit, but I just had to jump on here quickly and…”

women advising on how to use heartless curlers overnight “so you look like you’ve got up early and done your hair”

catching myself thinking about ways to aestheticise/feminise my body hair, ways to make it look intentional

I see this SO much. This undercurrent that the key is the effort, the trying, the caring. That it’s ok to look ‘bad’ as long as you put your energy into grovelling about it, or it’s ok to save energy as long as you still look ‘good’. The two go hand in hand - women feeling they have to put effort in and look ‘good’, or at least have to do one or the other. It’s not just about looking ‘good’, it’s also about caring that you look ‘good’ and trying to look ‘good’ and putting time and energy into looking ‘good’.

I don’t have an articulate explanation for it but I have this sense that it is so so important, so I love you for giving me the chance to talk about it, thank you! And I’d also love to hear other women’s thoughts.

An angst prompt?! Don’t tempt me with a good time

I would really love to see something with the line:

“i loved you, you used me.”

Calm filled the atmosphere. The first few days after Valentine’s Day were usually slow. After all, most people in relationships blew their flower budget before the 14th. This led to the shop being empty for most of the day. Your regulars still stopped by, men who would bring their partners flowers weekly and widowers bringing flowers to their passed-on loved ones.

These were the ones that gave you hope that love still existed. After the past few weeks, you weren’t so sure.

It was then that the small bell chimed above the door. You shovelled the last spoonful of leftover pasta into your mouth before you rushed out to the front to greet the customer. Distractedly, you fiddled with your apron as you walked around the corner. Oh, how you wished you would have been looking up.

When you lifted your head, there was a large, beaming smile on your face. It was gone within seconds.

Standing in front of you was Jake Seresin, the man who ripped your heart out of your chest and stomped all over it.

Your face hardened into stone in a matter of seconds. The pilot looked like a kicked puppy, but that didn’t stop the vicious words flowing from your mouth before you could stop them.

“What do you think you’re doing here?” You hissed the words through clenched teeth, damn near spitting on him. “Honestly, Seresin, what the hell is wrong with you? You think you can just walk in here like this after what you’ve done?”

Jake was standing in front of you, mouth gapping like a fish. During your rant, the pilot had no chance to explain himself, not that you would give him one anyway. You finally paused. At this point, steam was nearly pouring from your ears.

When he didn’t say anything, you raised a perfectly manicured eyebrow, something that had changed since the break-up. That prompted him to speak. Your name was whispered quietly as he took a step forward.

With a scoff, you retreated behind your desk and began focusing once more on your pile of flower orders. It was then that he began speaking. From across your shop.

“I wanted to say I’m sorry.” That elicited a harsher scoff from you. Where did this man get the nerve?

“Hangman,” You never called him by his call-sign. That was enough for Jake to know that his chances were less than slim. “You do not get to do this. You do not get to come into my place of business to try and hash out your personal issues.” The only reason you paused was to suck in some air before you continued.

Ever so slowly, you set your pen down and walked around the counter. Once you were close enough, you jabbed your finger into his chest. “I loved you.” Your voice cracked and tears welled in your eyes.

Memories from the past came rushing back. Memories filled with nothing but laughter. Memories surrounding that one, fateful night. The night that you had come home, a week before Valentine’s Day, only for Jake to drop the bomb that he wanted a break. That he was no longer in love with you. As hard of a pill as it was to swallow, you had come to terms with the reality that Jake was never the man you thought he was. You had realized that everything, all the whispered ‘I love you’s’ and promises made meant nothing to him.

As hard as you tried, you couldn’t stop your finger from shaking. Regardless of that, your voice was firm.

Jake wasn’t one for crying. Hell, he hardly ever showed emotion. But as he stood in front of you, watching the consequences of his actions play out, he couldn’t stop the single tear from rolling down his cheek at your next words.

“And you used me.”

I genuinely want to know how some of you guys decide to send in asks and to whom. I know so many of you probably mass send them out in an effort to, idk, reach as many people as possible? Higher chances of getting posted?

Anon, this also isn't just you, you just drew the unlucky straw for my rant. Sorry. Your ask is also "almost" but not quite a copy/paste of the post I made not even a full day ago.

I specifically requested everyone to stop sending me asks about the car conversation because when I was no longer sick and my brain worked more coherently, I would put together a longer form post addressing it for everyone. And yet since then, I've gotten like 18 different asks referencing the car conversation. Half of them saying "yeah, can't we just let it go because XYZ opinions"

Okay great. I'm glad you agree with me I guess but you still aren't listening and honoring my request. So low-key, it still feels really rude. So now I have to sit here and hope that maybe my followers aren't actually rude and forget I am a whole person behind this account where making demands for content isn't super nice, especially when said content was already said to be coming, just later on. But instead they just.... Idk, don't actually read my posts and just send in asks without reading anything because why bother? Idk. Feeling entitled to my time without giving me yours through reading my opinions about a subject first feels less rude in some ways than just not giving a shit about what I say. Lol 🙃

And I KNOW I make a ton of posts, especially lately with AYS and trying to keep up with at least most of the asks I get, I've been much more active on here than I have been otherwise in the past year. So I often try to give the benefit of the doubt. But honestly.

Idk, maybe I'm just extra cranky because I feel like absolute dog shit, I'm sick, trying to take care of my family, get ready for back to school, get ready to start working, and take care of myself too... But it feels a little disrespectful and it doesn't make me want to actually make more posts or answer asks.

And all of this is a general you, not directed at anyone in particular. I'm just.... Venting. This is why I kept turning my anons off occasionally in the past...

Summary: Catius is glad to reunite with Cedric, although he wishes he hadn't met that really scary and grumpy Chao Death Guard.

Being menaced by a really large Death Guard had been… anxiety inducing- he was glad that Cedric had come swiftly to help patch him up and take him away from the scowling Chaos Marine. There was an undercurrent of menacy and sickly sweet decay coming from the Nurgle Chaos Marine that had him cling closer to Cedric. Who thankfully held him just as closely, mostly carrying him to a safer location.

He listens as Cedric tells him that he'd met up with Claude- and once the Raven Guard Primaris Scout appears he gives him a grateful smile, "I'm glad to see both of you once more."

"It's good to see you again." Claude says, carefully giving him a hug- mindful of his injuries as he helps Cedric get Catius into a more comfortable position.

It will take a while for his wounds to heal- and he's to "stay put and rest." Those were the firm orders he'd gotten from Cedric who had used his Apothecary Voice on him.

As he doesn't have anywhere to be, and no orders or missions to do, he'd agreed easily. He'd help organize the cave that Claude and Cedric were sharing, counting supplies that they had pooled together and creating a list of supplies that they needed, supplies that they have, supplies that were nice to have, but not necessary.

He learns from Claude and Cedric that he's on Ancient Terra- and that while there are shoals of various chapters, Loyalist, Renegade, and Chaos alike. Not all of them are from the same time. They seem to come from all parts of the time line, from just the end of the Unification Wars, to their most current time, which is after the Primaris Roll out.

It takes a while for him to wrestle with that information and fully understand what that means. The implications of it, he gets to greet and inform Ramiel of when and where they are as well. Who- from the wounds on his chest- and accross his body, he'd come to Ancient Terra as he died in Cedric's arms.

Catius bows his head and prays in thanks to the Mercy of the God Emperor for bringing back Ramiel, and his treacherous, greedy hearts wonder if perhaps some of his brothers that were with him in complete and utter hell, that they would be able to be found and rescued. He is determined to recover- and help Ramiel recover.

He tries not to get too hopeful with his fellow Primaris Ultramarines abandoned by Captain Sicarius in the Warp will be found in time. If they have also been given this blessed second chance. He scratches one of his cheeks as he continues doing what he can, while stuck in a cave.

It's very boring, this recovery business and not having paperwork to help whittle away his time. He does use his time to watch over Ramiel, who's mostly sleeping off his wounds and making sure that Ramiel doesn't become feverish, and doing his best to make sure that Ramiel doesn't hurt himself in his screaming nightmares.

Catius is glad when Jophiel, Claude, and Cedric come back with stories of what they've been doing out of the cave, bringing him supplies to double check the quality of add carefully add to the supplies list that he'd created and updates. Making sure to carefully label and put things in its proper place.

When Jophiel starts talking about Lenora and Erriox- and how they were treating him, he's both glad and worried. Glad that his brother's gotten some guidance from older folks, who seem to be kind. Catius had heard the excited rants from Jophiel about "the Adoption ceremony that he'd gone through a couple of months later with Erriox and Lenora, and how he'd felt so loved and safe- and how Catius and the others should really, really come meet them. They are amazing and wonderful and lovely and safe."

"I'll think about it," Catius had told, mostly amused with Jophiel's antics.

When Cedric started talking about a couple of older Black Templars that he'd met- at first Catius had been alarmed and concerned. But the longer Cedric continued to meet with them, and how no wounds, mental or physical appeared on Cedric, the more cautious optimistic he'd become. Especially once Ramiel and he fully recovered and started to go out to hunt and gather things for their squad.

Ramiel also started to talk about Arnault and Roland and how Amazing they were and how he really should meet with them he'd pointed out, "I'm an Ultramarine- and most Older Black Templars, for reasons both sensible and not don't like my Chapter- what with certain… bad blood between them. I don't want to upset them… Or make them demand of you an 'us or them' scenario."

"I don't think they'd do that," Cedric protested.

"… Let me think on it," Catius replied- he'd had several protests and words he'd like to say, but now wasn't the time to get into an arguement and upset Cedric and Ramiel about potential conflicts that could be avoided by him not meeting Arnault and Roland.

Hopefully Cedric and Ramiel will drop this line of thinking. Although, he knows exactly how stubborn his brother-cousins can be, and know that they will back off on this issue for a while, before pestering him about it again. Jophiel had gotten Claude, Ramiel, and Cedric to meet Lenora and Erriox.

The things he heard about the adoptive parents of all them, had him amused and glad for them. He'd been concerned at first when they'd told him that Erriox is an Iron Warrior- but as he's a loyalist and in the ensuing months, none of them had been harmed by the First Born, tenatively he decided that Erriox could be safe.

He'd be able to get more of a full measure of who he is and what he's about when he meets Erriox and Lenora, as well and Roland and Arnault when he meets them personally. But for some reason his hearts race and his helmet tries to lock on for potential threats when he thinks about meeting any of them for some reason. He needs to find the source of this weakness and purge himself of it.

Alright, I know I’m a bit late to the conversation, but I can’t get over the Deuxmoi debacle. Seriously, what on earth is going on? How can anyone think the whole incident was a coincidence or believe the girlfriend was the one who arranged it? It's painfully obvious it was orchestrated. With so many people talking about it—PR anons, is there ANY chance A could have been the one to call the paps? I just don’t see how she’d have access to those resources.

Now, about Luke’s behavior during all this—it’s baffling. If you arranged this, at least try to act like you care about the girl. Walking ahead, refusing to properly hold her hand, come on. The picture that annoys me the most is the one where A is pointing at the car while Luke is in the background signing autographs. It reeks of attention-seeking. Where is his sister? Why is she acting like she’s the one the paps are there for, which technically they are, but still.

I’ve been thinking a lot about why Luke appeared so aloof with his girlfriend. Here’s my theory: have you ever made a decision and, when it comes time to execute it, something in the back of your mind tells you it’s not right? Like your body REFUSES to let you do it??? I think that’s what happened with Luke. He might’ve thought, "How romantic would it be to claim my girl on the premiere day of the show where I’m the lead?" I can see his girlfriend and friends encouraging him. Heck I can even see A and S picking out that dress she wore. I really fucking hope that wasn’t deliberate. Maybe he did this to distract from the debacle with A’s mom, but I also think he genuinely thought it was a good idea. But on the day, he froze. Almost like it hit him why this wasn't a good decision. He couldn’t bring himself to hold her hand. As frustrating as that was, it gave me hope that he knows deep down what his priorities should be and that he’ll work towards them.

Nic is really starting to annoy me. Don’t get me wrong, I still love her and Luke, but she’s getting on my nerves. Her friends say she’s too good for her own good. HARD FUCKING AGREE. Clearly, Luke and his girlfriend don’t care about any of this, so why is Nic even bothering to help? It seems like she’s done with it for now, at least. Luke won’t learn if Nic keeps stepping in. Let him deal with it and figure it out on his own.

And finally, about polaroidgate—Nic knows people are watching. I think she kept it at first without thinking, saw the traction it got in Australia, and decided to keep it longer. Every time people saw it, they went crazy, myself included. I’m not saying she kept the polaroid solely for PR reasons, but I do think she’s holding onto it until the buzz for season 3 dies down. Honestly, I don’t think she cares that much. One day, she’s just going to remove it while on set in her little fairy costume. Can’t wait for it! Sorry, I know this was a bit of a rant but had to get it off my chest.

Human heater anon here, I'll just call myself Anon H,I know you're not back from your camping which I really hope you're enjoying, camping is amazing if done right. Kinda makes me wanna do it. Anyways ! I'll leave this idea here, take it or leave it ! I just need to get this out to someone.

Ahem, I had the sudden thought of a reader who's just the most chill, laid back and nonchalant person. Someone is being annoying ? Reader doesn't care and and just keeps going. Alone ? Just Vibing. Someone disagrees with them intensely ? It's cool mate. Though it sometimes attracts people to diminish the reader because they know the reader won't care so they lash out their pent up frustration. They also annoy the characters (I'll mention them after), as in they're just TOO laid back it can be a pain. I think Silver Wolf, Serval and Kafka could be neat for that. Thanks for reading my little rant.

I feel like kafka would share a similar energy too but hers is more... calculated? She'd definitely try to mess with you and make bets with the other members to see who makes you angry first(which she miserably failed at ).

Oh but she loves how you are sometimes( she loves u all the time). Your laid back attitude when someone is angry with you and seeing your nonchalant answers anger the person in front of you is free entertainment for her and the best thing is the snarky comments you give each other when you're having an argument. She'd purposefully try making you angry (which she'd, again, fail to do so)

But! Sometimes, just sometimes, she doesn't really like how you don't take things very serious. Especially when you've come back hurt from a mission or fighting with someone. or if you just fell down on the stairs. She hates how you don't take your injuries seriously and that annoys her a lot. Would subtly scold you in a soft tone but even after you shrug it off and tell her that you're fine or remark on how funny it was that this happened to you, she would raise her voice and tell you how she feels about what you're doing. But no worries after a little fight she'd apologize and tell you to take care of yourself and makes sure you do so.

But if someone really tried to hurt you both physically or with their words, that person better pray for themselves.

Now for Silver Wolf, she'd.....do nothing. She doesn't care much honestly. She likes how calm and friendly you are. Loves how you don't disturb her during her gaming sessions and will be ready to teach you any game you want. And the thing is, you're the only one who doesn't make her angry while she's teaching you cause you're pretty fast learner. Unlike a certain few.

And the way you fight is quite amusing too her. You're both very similar in that. A smug, expression and taunting words. Would definitely enjoy seeing you fight while she's on the sidelines.

Serval is an absolute tease about it. No intentions of making you angry, she just thinks it's cute.

But if, by any chance you get hurt while fighting or you happened to break one of her precious games, you better get ready cause you're in for a little ride around tantrum town. She doesn't like that you just say that you'll buy her a new one or tell her that she's overreacting with that stupid smug smile of yours. Its like You're not really sorry when you really are. Your expressions just don't match Your feeling and that causes a misunderstanding and then you're gonna get silent treatment for about three days and few death glares here and there. And maybe a few petty fights....but that's ok cause she'll forgive you in the end and tell you to atleast care about her feelings.

She absolutely loves your nonchalant smile/smug! You just look so good! She likes how cool headed you are and how well you handle situations, it could be an angry customer at her shop or anyone to say the least. Its not like she can't handle the customer herself, she wants to watch you do it, with that pretty little smug on your.

But just imagine, one day you broke her favourite trinkets given to her by her brother and she was already having a bad and then sees the condition of the trinket and an awkward smile on your face as you apologize to her. On that day, you saw a Serval that was a whole different person. She scolded you, you got angry and again, with that smug, taunting smile of yours, say something to piss her off more and she leaves. You better go ask her sorry after this and buy her some flower.

I think the whole thinking about the Allay mutant kind of goes against the going past your whole timeline thing? In case you were planning any Allay mutants or anything.

Also, thinking back on it, the whole rant felt sort of diminishing of intelligence with how much I explained stuff, and also it may feel like I was taking your au out of your hands. That truly wasn't my intent, and I realize that my over excitedness of it may not parse well through text?

Let me clarify something about that little timeline rule that I'm sure you must've seen in @silver-sunray's TTSBC: Beyond post! What I mean by that is specific events that haven't happened yet. That's why the given examples are a Flower Husbands wedding and Cub's hybrid reveal. Both of these events are things that might happen in TTSBC's future, so I would rather not have folks writing fic or things along those lines that portray those events because they haven't actually happened, and I want to have a chance to write them first 😅

This rule does not apply to hybrids/mutants that have not yet appeared in TTSBC. If you wanna write about an Allay mutant OC, go for it! Please, by all means, I would love to see what you come up with for them! If you want to participate in TTSBC: Beyond with them, all you gotta do is make sure they fit into the TTSBC universe, which I will say they totally do because I did read your ask and I loved it!

It's just that I got back in town from a long, very fun, but also very exhausting con weekend this week, and your ask was so lovely, detailed, and interesting that I didn't want to half-ass a response, so I wanted to give myself a few days to try and restart my brain cells before I typed up a reply to you! You had been his secretary for almost a full year, and even though you'd lasted more than your predecessor, the way your boss treated you had finally gotten under your skin.

"It's fairly common for Dynamight to be strict with his employees," you were told before adventuring to the agency for the first time; you weren't warned whatsoever about how caustic the blond could get with his belittling comments and snarky remarks—especially when he was targeting them at you.

—I- I just got a better offer, sir.— The man heard you utter, leaving his desk to walk up to you. He took the paper sheet from your hands to read it, quickly deciding to discard it into the shredder.

He looked at you up and down, making you feel small.

Why did he always have to make you feel like that lately?

—And who is precisely trying to steal my assistant?— His husky voice asked, sending shivers down your spine. You averted your eyes from him to avoid giving away you were lying, still not having the guts to tell him it was his fault you were leaving your job.

—It's a small company, they are starting to grow.— Your voice meekly answered, praying that he wouldn't tell you were making up an excuse.

Perhaps you should've lied a little better than that.

—Isn't the money I pay you enough?— He asked, lifting your chin with his calloused fingers. You hated how even when you despised him during work hours, your heart would skip a beat whenever he talked like that.

"This cute bastard!" You thought, fighting back the warmth creeping into your cheeks.

—You are terrible at pretending, you know?— He sardonically whispered in your ear. —If you want to go, give me the real reason. I'm not letting you go until then, nerd. —You heard him taunt, and just like a switch, all the anger that had cramped inside you burst.

Your face contorted into a frown that Bakugo could only describe as cute, clenching your fists with intensity. "Feisty," he thought as you looked at him with vexation.

—Fine! You are always scolding me in front of other people like I'm some sort of idiot! A-and you keep treating me like a fucking baby! I know how to use a damn printer-

Bakugo heard your little rant begin, crossing his arms over his chest as he leaned on his desk. "Have I pushed her around too much?" He wondered, noticing your distress. If he was honest with himself, he didn't mean to be so harsh on you; he just wanted that stupid fuzzy feeling you gave him to disappear.

With a flustered face, he decided to say one particular phrase you'd never imagine to hear, interrupting your fit of office rage.

—I'm sorry if I've been too hard on you.— He apologized, letting go of your face. —It's just- your stupid face always makes me say lame stuff and all.—

Your eye twitched in annoyance.

—Huh? My stupid face? What the- You were about to snap, interrupted by Bakugo's stern voice.

I've been a bastard with you for months.

Your mouth dropped in shock, eyes wide at the confession. "Did he really just say he...likes me?" You thought your heart beat grew faster. It was known that when little boys liked someone they sometimes mistreat their crush, but this was on another level.

Inhaling sharply, you landed a slap on the blond's face, small frustration tears rolling down your cheeks. He didn't bother retaliating, acknowledging how deserved that was.

— You made me feel incompetent for months, because you liked me?— You exposed. Bakugo felt shame for his actions, recognizing—lately—that they were not the best course of action.

— If I can somehow convince you to stay after the fucking mess I made, say so. I just need a chance!— He promised, sternly. —But if you want to go...

—Dinner.

—What?— The blond said in surprise, watching you trying to calm down. —Dinner. If you want to convince me, take me to dinner.— You said, giving him hope. —And I'm expecting a fancy place; I didn't endure your shit to be eating fast food.

Me looking intensily at Cazador's mind trying to figure out why he wants to sacrifice all of his 'sons' and not Cyrus,and especially Astarion why does he wants to kill astarion.

My shot is that he wants a new beggining as the ascendant,no more forced family,no more ghosts of the past,no more therapy by making some random ppl going through what you did.He is going to leave all of that behind him.

But like Tyrus is a fairly powerful mage,and I think he represents some trauma that he is not ready to leave behind even when he ascends.

But I just think he's being stupid, because as said in the fic itself there are ways to get a soul to consent, go to the lower city and say oh I need to tattoo something on you and I will give you a house, and you just need to come when I call you.

Or like idk even the servants the crazy servants.

But nope,he will kill the seven spawns and told this fairly powerful mage,and one of the seven sacrifices is the boyfriend of said powerful mage, like man...I think that fairly powerful mage who is immortal will find a way to save his boyfriend and if he fails he will pass all of eternity trying to look for a way to avenge said boyfriend,idk.

If you look at Cazador's predecessors they do not last long, they cant pass a bit more then a 100 years. So maybe Cazador,aware of this fact (me manages to last 215 years,yeah if you are an elf do not turn yourself in a vampire if you think you will be immortal, not worth it) decides to kill all of his spawn,but again...HE LETS SOME MAGE THAT WILL HAVE NOTHING TO LOOSE AND THAT WANTS TO AVENGE HIS BOYFRIEND.

And I'm just saying this from the point of view of someone who doesn't know what's going on in anyone's head.

And talking as someone who knows whats going on in some head: IT'S NOT POSSIBLE THAT CAZADOR DIDN'T THINK SOMETHING LIKE "hmmmm maybe this mage that is in a codependent relationship will do something crazy like kill everyone than himself to make sure that his boyfriend lives".

Cazador your mind is my roman empire because how can you be so intelligent (cause again this bitch managed 215 years when the ones that surpassed 100 where outliers) BUT SO STUPID.

I think some people online have joked about how Cazador must just be super petty to wait around for Astarion to return/be returned when he could have replaced him with anyone else (like Dufay fears in his journal entry). I personally don't view this is as true, based on my interpretation of the following:

How Astarion describes Cazador having plans within plans, thinking of every contingency and just generally being an excellent schemer. I'm pretty sure if this was an option, he'd have realized.

How much less competent Dufay is just for the sheer fact he switched around bottles and got both himself and his gf killed. Big F in the chat. So yeah, based on that there's a good chance he was just an idiot, and couldn't have taken Astarion's place. But even if he could, that leads me to my third reasoning...

In an Astarion origin run, Cazador says all the souls Astarion brought him are "all linked through those lines I carved on your back. All linked through blood," and if Tav goes to him knowing nothing of the ritual, he explains that each of the 7,000 souls "bear the scar of the one who brought them to me....in their blood I shall be reborn." it isn't a ton to go off, but because I find it more compelling to believe in a big bad guy's competence, my interpretation of why Cazador (or even Dufay) could stand in for Astarion while any random soul couldn't is that there needs to be both a literal and figurative blood link--the blood of at least a thousand of these souls is on Astarion's head, and arguably Dufay has their blood on his hands too, even if he didn't do the luring. No one's ledger is as dirty as Cazador's, of course. And actual blood links them altogether as well, thanks to Cazador's tendency to put his fangs in so many people's necks.

As for Tyrus getting added to this mix in PS, Cazador tells Astarion in bg3 that he was always a means to an end, important only thanks to Cazador's purposes for him. Because Tyrus's purposes can stretch beyond Cazador's Ascension, he is spared--and while Cazador isn't stupid, he is a bit overly confident that there is no other way for a spawn to overcome their master. Plus, he has never loved someone, even in his pre-vampiric days, nearly enough to sacrifice everything for them. Tyrus's unselfish love is a huge blindspot for this otherwise very competent vampire lord!

Hi Cas, sorry in advance for the (very long) rant but I feel like I need some reassurance that I'm not in the wrong here because it's been eating away at me for a while now.

So a about two months ago I started practicing driving in my stepmum's car due to my driving instructor going into hospital. Her car was really hard to drive and far from what I was used to and it ended up with me almost crashing into another car. I went back to my dads house and started crying because I felt like I could've killed those people.

I was in the bedroom and my dad was in the living room trying to get me to come through to him so he could talk to me. I didn't go through because all I wanted was some time to stop crying and to calm down but he kept shouting at me (he couldn't come to me as he can't walk very well due to arthritis). He ended up coming through and shouting at me and criticising me for "making him" come through to me.

When I eventually sat with him in the living room I decided I didn't want to speak to him as he wouldn't stop shouting at me so I just sat there in silence. He kept making out like I was trying to manipulate him because I was refusing to talk to him even though he was saying that he had been "hurt all his life" and other stuff to try and make me feel bad for him.

I ended up just storming out of his house and going back to my mums. He had asked me beforehand if I had my bus card (where I live you get a card that gets you on buses for free until a certain age) and thankfully I did so I looked at bus times and decided that was my cue to leave. I knew my way to the bus station and as I was walking out of his house, my stepmum tried to stop me but my dad told her not to. (I should probably add that he lives in quite a dangerous area and I am a minor and a girl)

He has been texting me since then, still trying to manipulate me (for example: this happened right before fathers day and he said I was trying to use father's day against him when he was the first to mention father's day) and say that I was in the wrong.

Now he wants me to meet up with him in a few weeks and I'm wondering if I should. I want my dad back but at the same time I don't think our relationship could ever be the same now that I've seen what kind of person he truly is. Should I meet up with him and see where things go?

I guess I'm wondering, is this a one-time thing, or a pattern? If this is the first time something like this happened, I would give him a chance to talk about it. It could be that he was in a lot of pain and not thinking straight, you know?

But if he acts like this every day, then maybe I would at least tell him he needs to be more sympathetic about your feelings, and that you're really hurt. Cutting off a parent is a big decision, so I would give him the chance to talk before doing that, unless he's done A LOT of bad shit. But that's just my opinion!
