Ludwig thinks he's smarter than his siblings and is sort of a self-imposed black sheep growing up. he grows out of it for the most part. writes the worst music you've ever heard in your life.

Lemmy's the second oldest and the smallest. i think he's a slightly different species of koopa than his siblings - like a bearded dragon/rankin's dragon type situation. i think he ends up being some kind of teacher.

Roy and Iggy used to fight a lot as kids, but grew up to be bffs. Roy calls himself a car guy, but he always has to ask Iggy for help with anything beyond a paint job. But he can totally airbrush your van with a cool magikoopa

Iggy is a real nerd's nerd. Lemmy taught him how to use a computer at age 5 and he knew how to code by the time he turned 6. can get tunnel vision on projects. did not wear his retainer, so the braces were for nothing.

Wendy actually is a car guy (well, motorcycle girl). she was the type of kid to have a new hobby/obsession from week to week. she's super loud and contrarian for the sake of it. she and morton are the same age, and as kids he basically did whatever she told him to do.

Morton is a quiet guy. he always seems like he's in a good mood. i see him being some kind of nonfiction writer, maybe a journalist for some prestigious paper. he's got a face you can trust, i think

Larry is a very talented botanist and dresses exclusively in whatever the Mushroom Kingdom equivalent of hemp is. He was the one who grew Petey Piranha.

i've said this one before, but Bowser Jr. is the empty-nester baby Bowser and Luigi had after Larry went off to college and is significantly younger than the rest. most difficult baby, didn't stop biting until age 5. mellowed out as a teenager. kinda spoiled, but a super talented artist.

Lol this is from an idea I got from @apocrypha73 - someone posted about a PWP with no sex or something and I joked that it would be fun to write all these really cheesey porny setups (OYZZ is the pool boy in short shorts who comes to clean WN's pool or WN is a teacher and OYZZ gets detention etc) but no actual sex happens. So this is more of an idea than a fully formed WIP. I kind of wanted to write a whole bunch of scenarios like this that kind of add up together to form a narrative. But so far I haven't had the brain power to think of all the scenarios nor how to connect them

Oh this one is a challenge!!! I think the first character who comes to mind is Tang Fan from Sleuth of the Ming Dynasty? Not a complete match but close enough. Tang Fan writes romance novels in his spare time and is obsessed with his boyfriend's cooking which are two things I usually write about ZZ!

god I'm so fucking furious at the removal of Te Reo Māori names from organisations around Aotearoa. it's a complete non-issue, every organisation has the English name directly underneath the Māori name. I have never once as an English speaker been unable to understand what an organisation is for. Winston Peters, the Deputy Prime Minister, who is literally Māori himself, said “Te Papa is a historic name but tell me this waka kotahi, how many boats have you seen going down the road?”. Waka does not just mean canoe. it means vessel, and waka kotahi (the transport agency of Aotearoa) explains this VERY SIMPLY on their official website. waka kotahi means to travel together as one. Can you see how fucking upsetting this is. A Māori person in power who is in agreement about banning his own language, being so cocky about something that he does not even understand due to the suppression of the language of his people. It makes me sick. I've seen reports from Māori people all over Aotearoa speaking out about how upset and furious they are, how decades of progress have been undone in the fight to restore the rights of their people who have for so long been oppressed and have suffered the effects of colonisation. Please share this if you can, I hate knowing how few people will hear about this, I know there is so much injustice in the world right now and it is so exhausting, I know. I love you all, keep it up.
