Dier's fond of liquor, so I think he would appreciate the strong scents of whatever the Final Empire's spirits can offer. As for scents he hates... I like to think there's some kind of cologne that his father used to wear that he just cannot stand even a hint of it in his vicinity without feeling rage bubbling up.

We actually came up with this very silly/fun modern streamer AU during the ridiculous 10 hour Dier stream thing where Dier was a twitch simp/constant annoyance for the mods of another party member's chat until they let the audience in on the ruse. He would get in stupid twitter fights and stalk people on instagram too, I'm pretty sure.

I don't think Dier would really follow much fictional media though, he strikes me as the kind of guy who maybe gets a little too into sports teams...

as a writer, I always feel weird about rereading my own work but I find a lot of satisfaction in it bcuz it's like !!! woah I wrote that!!! (and also sometimes I write such obscure ideas it's the only content I can find😭😭)

I'm just kind of curious what other writers do :)

sometimes! not that often. after publishing a fic i usually go "blergh" then park it for like. 3+ months. and then come back to it and read it through my fingers, and then realise it wasn't actually that bad.

i usually do a skim after posting to see if i catch any weird SPAG things or word repetitions (which tend to sneak in even despite my best efforts and amazing beta readers sometimes). but after that i tend not to re-read!

Smartsies and cunning, the things she's an adept of! This is the skill that I maxxed first for her, and oh dear the work actually got paid off in the end! (Kiava Gamma end project) which was very helpful. Intelligence is her primary stat and it shows. (she'll eventually catch a meme-virus in her old years trust my word, else why so smart)

Tech-Use

Pasqal got a nice competition there, but they both kinda went hand in hand studying the tech shit together until Pasqal got better than her in the end xdd She's fascinated by the works of machinery and admechs in general.

Lore: Warp (tbh all the lore skills)

The warp flames touched her skin in the explosion, Ruinous Powers marked her with their influence, forever affecting her mental state and whispering in her dreams nightmares, the near-death experience granting a slight sense of understanding of the Warp phenomena, much for her own displeasure.

Honestly, each of the Lore skills share the value as she has a vast Intellect (big brain goes big yo) so they all were in equal expertise in her Int build. And yeah, from the lore point as well, that every other aspect is important and plays it's role in her biz like: Lore: Xenos is work related to operate with Cold Trading, xenoartifacts and stuff. And Lore: Imperium - she gotta know all about the stuff like it's structure, ways and shit, to be a responsible Cold Trader that values their skin and the lives of her associates.

a/n: it's finally here!! how long has it been?! first things first i want to say thank you to everyone who's been rooting for this fic!! I honestly hit a huge writers block and had no motivation to write!! but all the sweet messages from people saying they enjoyed my work has made me so happy!!! SO ONCE AGAIN THANK U AND I HOPE U ENJOY!! I tried my EXTRA HARDEST SO I HOPE THIS GIVES U THE CLOSURE YALL WANTED I LOVE YOU SM! ALSO THIS IS NOT PROOF READ SO PLEASE EXCUSE ANY MISTAKES!! I JUST WANTED TO FINALLY POST FOR U GUYS!!

It took a lot out of you not to stay in bed the next morning. The softness of your bed wrapped around your body gives you some sort of comfort. But of course, staying in bed would only make you feel worse. At least if you got up it would be easier to fake happiness. To no surprise, your phone was flooded with missed calls and texts from both Steven and Belly. Of course, you only responded to belly telling her that you'll explain your reasoning for ditching your "date" with Steven later.

Why did Steven even bother leaving you so many texts last night? If you were such a bother to him? Annoying. That's what he thinks you are. And what if you never heard those disgusting things he said about you? and went on the date with him? Would he just continue to lead you on?

Steven: waiting for you by the pool.

Steven: ur late

Steven: u look pretty even though i can't even see you. pls im starving

Steven: is belly holding you hostage?

Steven: it's been 18 minutes cmon.

Steven: the guys are going to laugh at me for being stood up I'm getting nervous.

You laughed at the messages blinking back angry tears that threatened to fall. Gosh! he was so fake. You could only imagine how relieved he must have been to not hang out with you.

“I overheard the guys talking about me last night.” You fiddled with the throw blanket that was on your lap. “At first it was just them teasing Steven about our date or whatever.” You took a deep breath upset that you felt like crying. “But Steven only agreed to hang out with me…” You paused blinking back tears. Belly moved closer immediately pulling you into a hug. “He only agreed to hang out with me…so I could stop annoying him! I honestly don’t know what I did wrong?” You pulled away from belly’s arms wiping your tears that had fallen.

“Maybe I was too forward? but I just wanted to see if he felt the same way…it was dumb.” You shrugged. Belly shook her head “Nope my brother is a fucking idiot!” she stood up taking your hand in hers and pulling you up. “I won’t let you mope around all day because of him!” You sighed “I don’t even have a choice do I?” Belly laughed shaking her head. “What do you say we go to the boardwalk? Taylor’s coming in today too” she smirked.

“And maybe someone would be happy to see you I don’t know” she whispered with a grin. “What are you talking about?” You questioned. “Well you know Xavier..the one that works the lemonade stand?” You nodded your head yes. “Well, he totally has the hots for you.” You cringed at her word choice. “He does not!” You laughed. “Oh, he does! you were too busy ogling my brother last summer you didn’t notice him ogling you.” she poked your side teasingly.

“Now let’s go!”

“Stay still before I poke your eye out” Taylor groans finishing up your eyeliner. You were now at the Fisher’s beach house getting ready to go down to the boardwalk. You laugh pulling away “I think that’s enough…if you make my eyeliner any thicker I’d cry!” Taylor playfully pushes your head away. “Sorryyyyy i want to make Xavier fall to his knees when he sees you!” You frown when she brings that name up. Sure, Xavier was a nice guy…and he was cute…but he wasn’t Steven.

You’d always imagined Steven being your first everything. First kiss, first date, first time. It was something you’d dreamt of all this time.

“Yeah…im going to get a snack before we head out do y’all want anything?” You ask heading towards the door. Both girls gave you a sympathetic smile shaking their heads no.

As you reached the kitchen you stopped in your tracks. Steven turned from looking into the fridge. You made eye contact for about 5 seconds before you beelined for the cabinets. “Hey,” Steven broke the silence as you pulled out a granola bar. You felt the warmth of his stare and turned finding him now leaning against the counter. “Hey…” you whispered looking anywhere but his face. “So you gonna tell me what happened last night?” Steven crossed his arms around his chest.

“Just didn’t feel up for it anymore ..” You shrugged nonchalantly. “That’s it?” Steven scoffed. “Yeah…that’s it” you whispered about to walk away. “What’s going on? I’m like so confused right now.” Steven gently gripped your arm. “Nothing just forget it…it’s not like you wanted to go anyways.” you rolled your eyes. “And what makes you think that?” He muttered eyes scouring your face for the truth. “Um, I don’t know let’s see …you quite literally ignored me this entire week!” You responded sarcastically.

“I didn’t mean to. I had a lot of shit on my mind alright?” Steven uttered softly. It almost felt genuine. The words he spoke just last night almost became liquid. “Yeah like what?” You whispered eventually looking into his eyes. “You can tell me..” You spoke gently stepping into him closer. No matter how much he’s hurt you. Steven would always make you melt. “Nothing let’s just forget about it…he pulled away opening up the fridge once again.”

It was like a switch was flipped. How he went right back to that cold shoulder he had been giving you all week. “You're a fucking asshole” You spewed, already ready to walk out of the kitchen. “Where are you going?” He abruptly spoke again. “The boardwalk…you know? so I won’t annoy you here.” With that, you left a confused and remorseful Steven behind.

“Hey, look y/n why don’t you go get a lemonade?” Belly suggested with an eyebrow raise. Shit. you were hoping they forgot about that. “Guys I don’t feel up for this..” You pouted looking between both Taylor and Belly. “Noooo go talk to him! you look hot as fuck.” Taylor gently grabbed your face giving you a mini pep talk.

“What if Xavier wants to hang out..I cant just ditch you guys?!?” You were stalling and they knew it. “We’ll be here waiting for you” Belly smiled. “Just try to have fun alright? But hey if you don’t really want to do it …we’ll back off” She narrowed her eyes at Taylor. “No…I’ll go” You laughed giving both of them a hug “Thank you guys.i really appreciate this.” You’d definitely still be moping around in your room about Steven if it wasn’t for Belly and Taylor. They both wished you luck as you headed straight for the lemonade stand.

As soon as he spotted you. The biggest smile spread across his face. “y/n? damn, it’s been so long” Xavier greeted you with a hug. “It’s only been a year!” You playfully ruffled his curly hair that sat atop his head. “That’s way too long…I enjoy seeing pretty girls year-round.” He spoke smoothly, he definitely knew how to talk to girls. “Shut up” You laughed pushing him away with not that much force.

“I have an hour lunch break…you up for arcade games?”

“So…you seeing anyone?” Xavier asked as he ate a scoop of his mint chocolate chip ice cream. You thought about it for a moment. Technically no you weren’t seeing anyone. But you knew you were still hung up on Steven. A day at the boardwalk with Xavier wouldn’t change that. “It’s complicated…I guess” Xavier sighed “I've been there…it’s rough” You nodded you were curious as to what he meant but you didn’t want to be nosey.

“Hey, look they have street fighter..” Xavier smirked. “Want to go a couple of rounds?” You nodded immediately pulling him towards the game. “Mhhm loser buys the winner a funnel cake!” You suggested with a chuckle. “Ouuu im so down y/n” Xavier squeezed your hand that held his quickly striding towards the arcade game.

Just two more steps, Just two more steps and you’d be fine. The rowdy yelling completely threw you off. You stopped in place looking behind you where the voices were coming from. You had no time to move out of the way, no time to prevent this from happening.No time to stop the trio of boys that you knew all too well. Suddenly a body collided with Xavier, the force immediately making your intertwined hands lose. “Dude, what the fuck?” Xavier groaned. It was then that you snapped back into reality. Eyes wide when you noticed Xavier’s ice cream now all over his shirt.

“What’s up? how are we doing?” That voice full of humor made you scoff. Steven stood tall a smile on his face. You hated that it kind of made your heart flutter. “Steven, what is your problem?” You gestured towards Xavier’s now ice cream stained shirt. “He’ll be fine y/n it’ll wash out.” Steven laughed, but once he noticed you didn’t find this funny at all he frowned. “I’m sorry man, I just came over to say what’s up..” You ignored Steven’s apology not believing he meant it. “Hey want me to help you get cleaned up?” You asked Xavier voice full of concern.

“No.I got it…I’ll see y’all later.” Xavier spoke nonchalantly as he walked away. When he was out of eyesight you brushed past steven heading out the door.

“Y/n” Steven immediately followed behind you. His long legs make it easier for him to catch up with you. “You embarrassed me” You stopped outside the arcade, letting him pull you to the side. “Embarrassed? sorry to interrupt your little date” Steven scoffed. “It's not a date we were just hanging out, why do you care?” You groaned running your hands down your face. “Maybe because just yesterday you were supposed to hang out with me?” Steven spoke definitively.

“Oh my god, just earlier you agreed to forget about it,” you said with an eye roll. “It was dumb, stop acting like you care just go home Steven I did you a favor.” He shook his head “What are you talking about right now?” Steven pulled you in closer, one of his hands placed on your waist. The other coming to the side of your face, willing you to look at him.

“I heard you.i heard everything,” you spoke up voice hoarse. Steven’s heart carried pain at the tears that stood brimming in your eyes. The realization was clear when he made the connection. “And you know..who cares what Jeremiah and Conrad think! what hurt the most was you.” You shrieked. You hated that you were crying in front of him. You hated that when he hauled you against his chest you felt secure.

“I'm sorry baby... I'm sorry” Steven sounded voice vulnerable. Leaving kisses atop your head. “Why would you say that?” you sobbed breaking down in front of the boy who caused it. “I didn't mean any of it” Steven brought your face between his hands once again. “But you said it..it still fucking hurts Steven.”

You wiped your face getting prepared to pull away and walk back home.

“Wait, please let me talk to you.” Steven begged. “okay” you replied being prepared to cry all over again. “My head has been all fucked up..and that isn't an excuse I know” Steven looked down as if he couldn't construct the next words. “Please don't shut me out.” you pleaded gently. “I want you...i have all this time.” Steve confessed for the first time.

“—And I didn't want to fuck anything up we've..been so close all our lives if I ever messed that up I would never forgive myself.” It's as if you were dreaming, the boy you loved stood in front of you disclosing his feelings for you. “And what? this whole week of you acting cold towards me, were you trying to avoid your feelings?” Steven bobbed his head “Yes, if I lied to myself it would make lying to everyone else easier because the fucking truth is I want you so bad” You didn't tell him but at that moment you forgave him.

“And you called me the annoying one?” You giggled pushing on his chest gently. “Right now we could have been making out on the beach….but noo you had to be a brooding boy” Steven tickled your side, causing you to squirm in his arms. “Yeah, my fault can I kiss you now? been practically wanting to my whole life.” Steven threw his head back fake pouting setting one hand over his chest. You figured you'd throw his words right back at him. “You're so desperately desperate”

Steven smirked “Yeah for you? I am” Those words welcomed a whole lot of beautiful feelings. At that moment is when Steven bent down bringing his lips down onto your own. As your lips moved together, butterflies erupted in your belly. You smiled against his lips when you both needed a breath. “Hey, by the way, your not off the hook.. I'm still sort of pissed at you.” You declared pointing a finger into his chest.

“Yeah, I figured” He laughed wrapping his arms even tighter around you. “How about I make it up to you this whole week? I'm taking you out on dates…ill even get on my knees if I have to. I'm going to follow you around like a puppy.” Steven rambled on. You laughed out loud covering your mouth with your hands. “Oh, it's funny?” Steven raised an eyebrow suggestively. “Yeah, you're such a loser.” You joked.

Before Steven could respond you tugged him into another kiss. Perhaps everything wasn't one hundred percent fixed. But you and Steven were finally here together. You and Steven were finally in each other's arms that's all that mattered. You’d figure out the rest together.

“Why do you treat me so well?” He asked, with her hand on his face. It was a foolish thing to ask, revealing too much, pushing too far, but he was exhausted and she had a way of weakening his resolve. She did not pull her hand away, thumb stroking soft across his cheek. 

“Too few question,” she said at last. “Either they have given up, or are furious and impertinent. The former do not interest me, and I cannot be seen tolerating the latter. But some are like you, knowing when and how to press, seeking advantage without being destructive. It is a pleasure to see the way you move through the court, to recognize the precision of your efforts.”

It was not the answer he was expecting. If anything, he would have assumed a physical interest, at most an appreciation of his skills—but not his maneuvering. “My efforts are for you—” he began, but she shook her head.

“This is sloppy, my little pride. Do not lie.” After a moment she resumed her gentle stroking. He had the distant thought that she could be petting her loyal dog. “I know you intend to betray us.” He forced his expression to remain calm, only belatedly realizing that he should have acted as if the thought was shocking. She smiled, the white glint of her teeth visible. “You intend to save the slaves. You are already stealing them away. You are subtle, my Solas, but you cannot hide your efforts entirely.”

So, she knew. She knew and yet she spoke to him with such warmth. She had not demanded he return the slaves. As he puzzled over her reaction, her smile grew. “Ah, the gears turn. I enjoy watching you think.”

“They deserve better,” he said and she nodded, but he was not so naive as to think she was agreeing with him. She was simply confirming her own suspicions. 

“Perhaps they do,” she admitted after a moment, “but how do you intend to give them what they deserve? A war will devastate Arlathan, my sweet pride. The very people you seek to save shall be slaughtered in the battle you begin.” Her words chilled him, for they echoed his deepest fears back at him.

“I do not need to do this alone.” His voice was soft, pitched low and intimate, and she looked approving.

“You reach without reaching. Is it an offer that I join you, or a statement that you have already swayed others? Or perhaps you count the freed slaves as your allies.” She shook her head, growing somber. “They may be many things, but they do not have the strength to stand against the Evanuris. The only way for you to win is to divide us.”

“Why tell me all this?” She tilted her head and studied him, as if searching for the truth behind his question. But for once there was nothing beyond the statement, a simple, honest curiosity.

“I am not opposed to your goals,” she said at last, and this did shock him, “and if you can find a way forward that will not destroy us all, I wish for your success. It costs me nothing to give you this small advice, and may save much. Or,” here she grinned, “it may do nothing at all. The days feel the same, pup, but looking back it is all change. You seek to shape that change, but all I can guarantee is the change itself.”

He turned into her hand, his own rising to cradle hers as he kissed her palm. He would not spurn her wisdom. Perhaps it was a trick, but there would be easier ways to stop his efforts. More entertaining ways to encourage his failure. This advice, by contrast, seemed to support his own observations.

He did not understand, but he would not ignore.

Obv it's too difficult to choose just one favourite mechanisms, but probably The Toy Soldier, it means so much to me and it's so weird and complex I just love it sm (it was my first cosplay that I wore in public). Also Nastya, I love her story and she's so beautiful. Ivy is interesting too, I kin her a bit (I love books and have a funny memory). And Jonny obv. He's just Jonny and he lives in my heart (a real flesh heart luckily) rent free.

mY FAV ALBUM IS HIGH NOON OVER CAMELOT, I HAVE BEEN SO OBSESSED WITH IT FOR A YEAR NOW. I love cowboys and a wholesome queer rep, the best ever honestly, it helped me figure out my own sexuality and I love drawing the characters (though I don't have much time to do that. The space station is so interesting and I spent weeks researching about it <3.

My favourite song is Blood and Whiskey ( I love the Pendragons yes.) And it was also my first song in the spotify wrapped. I also love Loki (shoutout to Tim for his awesome voice), Rose Red, A Mad Tea Party and Stranger. (And also Lil Lemon, I wish they'd used the melody for a different song)

I started learning spanish from Duolinguo, bc i think its good for beguiners, when you know literrally nothing

I've been doing it for 1 year+ but then dropped it after finding out they use ai now X)

some other nice apps for learning spanish that i have (but havent used much recently since im lazy ass...) - spanishDictionary.com, ConjuGato, Reword

tbh I've got the most of the progress in learning by having to talk to people on daily basis and going to school. I found free classes in Buenos Aires for adults/immigrants. I already finished one year of primaria (primary school) and now im on my first year of secundaria (middle+high school). we have several different subjects a week, like language and litreture, healthcare, civil education, neonatology (i decided to take medical oriented classes bc why not)

I don't know where are you at the moment, but if you are in spanish speaking country, try to search for free classes like that. There could be information on offical goverment city websites and such

also argentinos are just very friendly and talkative people so after figuring out I'm from different country (usually just by looking at my blue eyes potato nose white face lol) they love to ask me tons of questions and I'm usually happy to use it as practice X'D

even been invited to several parties where id have to speak spanish bc nobody talks english lol. good for practicing

as for spanish itself - i find this language very fun! for me it feels like somewhere between english and russian. lots of things similar to english, lots of basically same words, but also verbs and adjectives have many forms and there are gendered pronounces to all nouns, just like in russian, and also you can make cute lil words! thats my favorite, that i miss when i speak english! so I find it easier to learn third language, when i already know 2

but I still have to learn sooooo much! I'm basically good at using only present simple time and a little bit of past simple,,,, but i havent mastered other tenses yet. My level isnt enough to watch whole movies in spanish or understand people that talk very fast, and i make shit ton of mistakes, but I'm only on my second year of learning spanish so... its okay

also learning is never linear. some days i feel like i get stupider than i was before and forget what ivealready known, but then in few months i suddenly start to understand more! its interesting!

also of course now i start to forget words in all 3 languages hahah funnnn X'D

I am pleased that you like my taste, we're definitely in agreement there, and also OH MY GOD I love later-seasons and established relationship SO MUCH, they are my FAVORITE and it makes me turn into a very sad little emoji face whenever those polls go by and everyone's always like, oh, s1-3 first time is the best. And I'm just like oh :( not for me :( why can't people like the things i like :(

But that's why we just gotta be out here writing for ourselves, allegedly, although tbh it would be nice if other people liked it too, lol. (Seriously was considering a poll of like 'hey, which wip would you guys actually want to read'.)

Got No Direction by mistyzeo -- I crabsolutely ADORE this one, which is truly a quick cut-to-the-chase with no messing around and no angst, just two people who like each other and like fucking each other having a good ol' time. It isn't really set in a particular era but for some reason it reads very s7ish to me? Maybe because of when I first read it, even though it was clearly published earlier. Love it, adore it, you read it and adore it too.

what lies underneath by @rivkat -- sorta schmoopy shaving/praise kink but really it's about how Sam loves Dean So Much and I'm always here for that as a plot. Also a sink nearly gets fucked off the wall, which can only be a good thing. Good comfort food on a bad day.

Loser by @winchestersinthedrift -- Becky's the all time champ of writing bodies as bodies and getting in and out with a minimum of fuss and a maximum of oomph. Her Sam is probably the sexiest Sam who's ever been written and he just thinks that Dean's delightful, and you know what, same. This is Bunker era in a vague and happy space.

-- and the reason it's only three, I'm sorry, is that the server troubles are making this Difficult, lol. But surely that's enough to be going on with. "Faith, this is Peter Pettigrew, my roommate," James introduced the guy he was pushing towards her.

"Hi," he squeaked.

She looked at him, "hello!"

Peter had mousy brown hair and was a tad bit shorter than James, Remus and Sirius.

"So first class today is- ah, potions with Slytherin," said Remus, checking his parchment.

Immediately, cheeky grins appeared on both Sirius and James' faces; not to mention they kept giving each other the side-eye.

Faith raised a brow, "Boys, what's going on here?"

James burst into fits of laughter when Sirius patted her on the head and said, "That's between me and Potter, Solace."

On the way to the dungeon where potions class was located, someone pulled Faith aside.

"Hi-?"

"Hi, I'm your roommate Lily," she said. "Sorry for disturbing, just wanted to tell you to watch out for Black and that….Potter-"

"Ehm….okay? Thanks I guess?"

Watch out for James? What did he do this time……

"I'm Professor Slughorn," the potions master introduced. "I'm neither a slug nor a horn and yet here we are," he laughed delightfully at his own joke.

"Now then, today we will be learning how to brew a simple cure for boils. It's really quite easy you see-" He trailed on.

"Psst- Lupin-" Sirius 'whispered', resulting in their whole table looking at him. James, who was beside him, started to snicker.

Faith shook her head in disapproval and then she caught a glimpse of Sirius hurling some spare bit of crushed up parchment at a Slytherin boy. The boy turned around to see the two Gryffindor boys snickering at him. Lily who was at his table too rolled her eyes at them.

"Sirius!" Faith put both hands on her hips and whisper-scolded him. He put up an innocent face and shrugged.

"Ehem!" Someone coughed loudly…

It was the professor.

"I cannot tolerate bickering in my class. If you wish to speak, make it known! Don't 'hush hush' and keep it all to yourselves, otherwise I am going to have to assume you are gossiping behind my back. Five points from Gryffindor!"

Some of the other Gryffindors scowled in their direction. Faith sighed and made a mental note to tell them off later.

Potions was alright. The professor seemed to take a liking to the potions brewed on Lily Evan's table. (p.s. it wasn't because of the table) Earning both Slytherin and Gryffindor ten points each.

"What on EARTH were you thinking???" Faith questioned.

"Whaaaat? It was funnnn!" James defended, Sirius agreed.

"Oh come on-"

"We come to school to have fun, Solace. If we don't make the best of being here, what's the point then?" Sirius said as if he was wise and all knowing.

Faith rolled her eyes, "Fine. But only because James is my cousin and best friend and I don't wanna pick a fight with him."

"Awe- Thanks cuz," James gave her a pat on the back.

But Lily was right…… I gotta watch out for Sirius……

spare nissetta and corso facts.... trivia... i don't know much abt swtor beyond what i have absorbed via osmosis but i love the art of them, i'm so curious 👀 how long have they known each other? what are their fave activities together... any facts you'd like to share.. 👁💖

im so emo jay thank you ily 💗 so even though i don't share them much on here they're actually one of my oldest bioware ships bc i started playing SWTOR back pretty soon after it released in....2012? idk i was in highschool and SWTOR was literally the reason I ended up picking up DA and ME.

there IS art of them back in the deep recesses of my instagram (absolutely ancient)

They meet right at the beginning of the smuggler storyline, and Nissetta is has a pretty prickly exterior and a lot of pretense around being this cool and detached smuggler. She likes Corso immediately, but it takes some time for her to actually feel like she can be open around him, especially since she tends to think he's pulling one over on her with his cheery farmboy personality. I wrote one small blurb about them pre-relationship that I feel like captures that really well lol:

“Captain, why’d Darmas call you young?” Nissetta bristled, small stature positively crackling at the question, but tried to rein it back in.

“You mean you heard that?” For someone usually so practiced at nonchalance, she was doing badly at this. Beside her, Corso laughed, the rich ebony of his skin glistening under the neon lights of the cantina, splashed alternately in pink and green and yellow. The minute he saw her expression, though, he stifled the laugh, swallowing it away.

“Captain, you were talking as loud as a couple of bantha herders at an auction. It was hard not to hear.” Nissetta sighed and pursed her lips. Irritation was coursing through her like kolto, and she didn’t exactly relish the thought of telling Corso exactly what the other smuggler had meant.

“I’m sorry captain, I didn’t catch that.” She let out a burst of air, filled with exasperation. Of course she couldn’t have expected him to be happy with a mumbled answer he couldn’t even hear.

“It’s because I’m twenty-one, that’s why.” She swirled her drink, waiting for a response. When she glanced over, Corso was leaning against the bar, height gathered awkwardly on the barstool, legs dangling and arm bunched up beneath him, staring at her with something almost like…indignation?

“But I’m twenty-two!” he finally blurted out, gesturing at himself as though to remind her of whom he was speaking.

“Yes, Corso. I know.” Nissetta took a drink, thankful the twi’lek bartender was engaged in conversation on the other end of the long bar. She didn’t need more witnesses to this.

“But you called me kid when we first met!” Ah, so there was the root of it. She snorted, and hid her giggle in her cup.

“You haven’t convinced me yet that you aren’t.”

“But you’re younger than me!” She set down her cup and looked over at Corso, the perfect face of indignation.

“And? Your point, kid?”

She's so full of shit it's a delight 💗

As they get to know each other better, the two of them love mostly to share the things they used to do growing up with the other person. Nissetta grew up a junker's kid, and played a LOT of pazaak and dejarik/holochess, but also spent time modifying whatever toys or tools she had with the junk her dad picked up, and she'll fiddle around with blaster mods for Corso between teaching him her dad's game strategies. Corso, on the other hand, having grown up on Ord Mantell, loves stargazing, and whenever they go to a new quadrant of the galaxy, he takes the time to pull up holomaps and get to know the sky before pointing out constellations in a blacked out cockpit to Nissetta. He also helps her learn how to keep plants alive, and gives her a little mushbloom plant he picked up in Coruscant because of how hard it is to kill (yes I decided this after seeing how cute mushblooms were in Fallen Order).

17. Name three things that make you happy

My doggies, who always give me cuddles and check up on me (they're nine this month!), theatre (I used to do a bit of stage acting myself and I just think it's a brilliant art form. Really makes you feel alive) aaaand spending time with my friends and family!

Ohh hard one. I think maybe watching TV and chatting with my family :) Aside from that, if I have a decent schedule, I really enjoy getting everything ready for the day like washing my face, picking out clothes, ect. ect. Simple pleasures lol. Also!! I just love the sky. And enjoying rainy weather.

20. favourite things about the night

I love how quiet it gets. Getting cosy under my duvet with all my pillows and weighted blanket and either just enjoying the silence or putting on white noise or a video. I also love how cool it gets :) Night walks are funnnn
