Hey friends. If you have enjoyed my writing lately, would you like to join my tag list? I had a sign up on a g-form but I realized that may be too much executive function demand.
If you want to get tagged when I post stuff that I’ve written or be tagged with good news ABOUT stuff I’ve written, go ahead and interact with this post! Thank you. Ily.

TW// Abuse implication
Thinking about possible Vox and Angel's interactions and how they'd go down. Theres such a unique mix of hatred to each other and common ground with their different experiences with Valentino, has me thinking.
Also just want to clarify I love Vox's character a LOT but ofc obv don't sympathise with him or think he is any way shape or form a decent individual, cant with stupid toxic dumbass x
AND IF YOU SEE ANY MISTAKES OR TYPOS NO YOU DONT- (i was so tired when drawing it forgive me TwT)

I do find it facinating how Dracula Daily has turned Dracula into a different kind of myth now that we're in its third year running. I've seen a few people compare it to Hadestown, or a timeloop. The enjoyment isn't JUST from engaging with the story now, it's engaging with the experience, and while the emails are still the same as previous years, we've been through this before.
The way we as an audience interact with this story and this way of telling the story changes the genre. Its no longer a gothic horror, classic lit story. It's become a mythology, a tragedy, a repeating loop. Jonathan Harker returns to the castle every year. Every year it happens again. And that changes it, builds up new mythos around it, even if the words stay exactly the same.

demanding a series in the same vein (heh, vein) as Dexter/Hannibal wherein a prolific serial killer plays cat & mouse with the police--except the serial killer in question is a preteen schoolgirl. this would make for compelling television due to the fact that middle school frequently causes girls to become deranged, and more media should reflect this

Not to talk about the watcher thing again as I’ve already kind of said my piece, but one of the most batshit insane parts of this whole unbelievable situation is that for some reason they decided that for some fucking reason the BEST time to announce this highly controversial decision was literally DAYS before they would be going on an international tour and having to face irate fans IN PERSON. Guys. What the hell. At least have the sensibility to announce a move that you HAD to have known would make people upset AFTER one of the few times you actually interact in person with your fanbase.
I hope you’re ready to investigate the Tower of London for ghosts, because I have a feeling the Londoners will be more than happy to acquaint you with the building later this week.
Insane move after insane move. Truly.

You watch him hem and haw over answering, feet shifting, same beat up black shoes, scuffing the gravel, cape swishing behind him in a one-two step. The halo of his hair, bleached eery white in the street lamp, how the light never seems to catch the rim of his shades.
You missed this, you think. The bits of him that are so unsettlingly inhuman, how he's so close to you, but just far enough that you couldn't reach to touch.

"age regression is a trauma coping mechanism, why don't people post about their trauma regression, why is regression seen as cute and fun always, there's not enough posts about trauma regressors! regression is becoming a hobby now >:(!"
LET PEOPLE REGRESS FOR FUN AND ENJOY THEIR CUTESY REGRESSION, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. if your regression is purely negative and trauma based, then fine! you post about it! but everyone knows regression isn't always cutesy and aesthetic - you don't need to bash people who regress for fun or enjoy said aesthetics, paci edits, etc, just to get a point across that the agere community as a whole already knows. because we all know that agere isn't all sunshine and rainbows already.
some people want regression to be their hobby, or for fun, or because they enjoy cutesy things. heck, my regression is also heavily linked with trauma and coping - but forgive me for not wanting to post about my literal trauma and the negative parts of my regression for people online to see, and instead focusing on the positives of my regression and cutesy aesthetics i enjoy whilst small.
there's nothing wrong with regressing just because you want to, as a hobby, or because it's fun. just because someone doesn't regress due to trauma, or they do but they'd rather not focus on that aspect of it, doesn't make their regression or their content any less valid. we don't have to be sharing our traumas or the bad parts of our regression in order to be taken seriously or seen as valid regressors if we don't want to. thanks.
