if we keep doing uwu soft little vampire and big strong dumb werewolf how are we going to ever break out of gender binary
if i see 1 more artist make the masculine/larger/stronger human partner into the werewolf im going to freak out
lycanthropy is about losing yourself. please i am begging you to make someone random, someone unequipped, into a werewolf. please. small scrawny werewolves who are weak and scared, feminine werewolves, werewolves who struggle with the idea of taking something's life (even another animal for food) werewolves who refuse to get dirty because they're averse. werewolves need more than 1 mental illness yall
its kind of a joke at the beginning but not really. make an insane jacked vampire and her petite femme werewife with braided patterned fur or something; make the vampire a seamstress who wont quit until her werewife has the perfect fitting dress for her new furry body. stop with the "oh this character is butch/masc, CLEARLY they would make a good werewolf" shut uuuuupp be a LITTLE more creative. come on!!! do you really think every single werewolf has a premium gym membership? quit drawing them like it !!!

Dude. I dont want to be rude or anything, but can yall tag things correctly???? Im scrolling the demonkin tag and it feels like 90% of the posts arent related to it at all!!! Half of them are about caninekin, 40% are about general otherkin things, 10% is about divinekin and then. Only 10ish% are abt actual demonkin or related
Like. Even if you do identity as a certain kin, if your post isn't related to it then please do not tag it as such!
It's very annoying, especially to people who are questioning and want to find things about a specific kin (<-thats me btw!)

huge fan of the idea that flint cant handle what he dishes out.
they are too shy to be confrontational so as a result they let ppl walk all over them which i imagine results in pent up anger that they release thru talking shit behind ppls back .
and i get this impression from this exchange right here:
flint talking poorly of the satellites, followed by "oh no i shouldnt have said that" implies he KNOWS he shouldnt be saying it and will get confronted for it, further implying hes done it before. cosmo's rant also implies this is a common occurrence that, tbh, he is rightfully angry for. and most of the things he points out abt flint in said rant arent wrong at all.
flint can talk big all they want, but never to someone's face bc they cant handle the confrontation that comes with it. it's cowardly, there's no self-respect to be had there. its just flints attempt to feel confident/better abt themselves. and i really hope to see more of this aspect of his character, ESPECIALLY in canon since, apparently, this 1.3 blogpost isnt explicitly canon (which saddens me every time i think about it.)
btw i feel the need to add on that i dont think flint's wrong or lying abt the satellites. What I'm condemning them for is the fact they're talking shit but then cant handle the consequences. If ur gonna talk behind peoples backs and stir the pot, you should be able to say the same shit to their face as well. Cosmo certainly doesnt appreciate how flint views his boys, but i feel like even HE would have a little more respect if flint just had enough courage to say it to his face.
But they dont, because they look up to Cosmo and dont want to be on his bad side, making it even more difficult for Flint to be confrontational . he has no desire to start problems with cosmo HIMSELF, just the satellites. (ppl forget this and treat it like flint has issues with cosmo, but thats not true . flint admires cosmo, likely due to his confidence and leadership skills since its smth flint craves having for himself, and erasing that aspect is a HUGE injustice to a really fun and interesting dynamic !)
i feel like the detail that flint likes drama ALSO plays a part in all this. enjoys drama, probably watches it from afar, but the moment it involves him, hes a total coward lmao

One thing that's so great about Kipperlilly hating Riz cus his father was murdered is how well that meshes with her being an in-universe xp grinder.
Like she's out here killing rats over and over and completing quests she knows she can do because it's the completion she's after not the achievement. and then she ALSO gets super fucking mad when the DM incorporates another character's backstory seamlessly into the main campaign plot. The mere THOUGHT that interesting backstory elements and skillful narrative building make for a better campaign experience is so ENRAGING for her because she's a fucking grinder. she's playing d&d like a wargame and is SO FUCKING PISSED that other people are playing it like an improv narrative medium and having a better time.

I wish we could’ve seen Marc’s reaction to Vale’s retirement. At the end of the day Marc basically worshipped him throughout his childhood and Vale was one of the first to support him when Marc first got in MotoGP. I wonder if despite all he still felt even the tiniest bit sad or if it was just a relief for him.
i mean we very much do have his reaction to vale's retirement. that was a pretty significant thing that happened. like i understand where you’re coming from here but we very much do have that quote

no they were just literally "be totally platonic do crime" besties for a good section of their appearances together. Harley's not even trying to do crime rn and Ivy's like fighting plant zombies??? the conflict with them in HQ is literally just realistic relationship shit that comes from being as traumatized as they are. that's expected, that's what we want ??? To be shown??? instead of their relationship just being a purely physical Look Kissing Women Aren't They Hot panels and a handful of good moments that're Friends With Benefits coded by DC

one thing i will say for the hunger games' favor is that katniss' presence and narration is very strong. i like her bitterness and cynicism, and she is an interesting portrait of parentification. there's a tangible sense that her years as sole provider for her family have taken a massive toll on her. I especially like that she has lasting resentment towards her mother over it. it feels real in a way I don't often see in YA fiction.
