⚰️ Spend the night in a cemetery

The clank of metal to stone resounded in among the tombstones as the pale moon shone brightly despite a black cloudy sky. As the echoes of the steel striking stone continued to reverberate in the fitting witching hour gloom, a harsh whisper would follow it.

"Light, Criney, watch it wit tha shovel!" The voice was sharp and carried the heavy din of Gilnean cockney.

A grunt would grumble back as the soft whisper of a Dark Iron's busque would respond with the same level of disdain. "Fuck off ye daft fleabag, if you zink moving this is eazy than come down an try your self, Hawkthorne."

Despite the dark, the sneer that Hawk would give his fellow 'midnight delver' could have been heard with the crack of teeth and skin. The years were hardly kind to anyone from the blockaded kingdom of refugees. It suited Hawk just fine, a man of his expertise was all the more comfortable with great misfortunes. "Fine, scoot yer short arse over an let me in there."

The graverobbers would now be standing hip to hip, their genetic difference in height all the more apparent standing six feet into a grave. "Oy then hand over the bit then, eh?"

Criney gladly handed over the crowbar to his partner before pushing past him to stand at the other end of the coffin they both straddled. Hawk planting the end of the pry into a slot of the coffin with low curse and grunt before putting his back into it as the shutter quaked from his assault.

"Put your back into it," Criney growled as he leaned a hand into the side of the dirt hole.

"What tha fuck ya think ahm doin here, eh?" Hawk swore back at his red eyed companion as struggled again to open the coffin.

A soft click responded before Criney could snark back. The very clear click of a hammer of a different variety.

"Putting that bar down for one," came the low, chilling voice from above them. "And then exiting the hole with due haste."

Both robbers turned to look up out of the hole as the moon just had to perfectly silhouette the figure above them. Large round eyes of glass looking down with a face of blank slate with a tousle of dark hair above it. The facial features were easy to pick up in the moonlight, along with the shining steel of the pair of pistols aimed at each of them.

"An wha if we-"

Two shots rang clear like thunder in the dark night, followed by two soft thumps.

Silence took the cemetery for a few brief moments before a gentle rain of earth heralded two new tenants.

At the risk of revealing that I'm a Crazy Conspiracy Theorist I really do think that the biggest reason Hollywood seems to hate youtubers and wants nothing to do with them is because they are infinitely harder to control. People usually have to pay their dues to become famous, usually have to sign their damn soul away or do crazy awful shit in order to get a hand up—but you can't threaten obscurity to someone who already has a large fan base. Who is, in a lot of ways, already famous. A while back Mark talked about his time at a red carpet gathering and how no one would look at him or pay attention to him; almost like he was getting deliberately snubbed for being a youtuber. And yeah a lot of it is probably also the fact that "real" actors and directors don't see youtuber creations as valuable or Real Art, but I also think that a big part of that hostility is that he's not tied to it like they are. They can't make him do anything. Which, again I'm theorizing, is why I think Iron Lung is getting clotheslined. Because you know damn well that if Mark has enough money to produce it himself, then he has enough to advertise and release it himself. But he can't. For Some Reason. He's got to jump through hoops first because, well.

It really is all about control.

i do got to say i prefer megop where they are legit enemies on the battlefield who begin to understand each other and the love comes later

bc when they were close first and then went to war...its a break up that cost the lives of millions. a lovers spat that got out of control and got millions killed for basically nothing. which id be fine with if it was addressed at any point, and guilt felt (especially for optimus) but a lot of fics just gloss right over that perspective.

everyones like "yay wars over lets go be a family now" meanwhile im thinking about all the carnage and broken people left behind bc two idiots couldnt compromise on their vision for cybertron or what they wanted out of their relationship

Edward was actually sent to Blackgate the first time he was arrested after the events of Arkham Origins. His crimes, serious as they were, weren't deemed extreme enough to send him to a more secure place since his crimes were largely cyber in nature. Extortion and blackmail were his most significant wrongdoings as well as abusing his position of being head of the GCPD's Cyber Crime Division, his actions causing significant civil unrest as people learned of Mayor Hamilton Hill's ties to the Maroni Family, which Edward was responsible for leaking. Enraged at what he considered being punished for simply spreading the truth, Edward instigated one of Blackgate's biggest riots to date, escaping during the chaos before remodelling himself as the Riddler.

One of my favorite, more ridiculous headcanons I have yet to draw, is that because things are more serious/high stakes in UF, the brothers don't do their cartoonish antics thing so much. So whenever things start getting better once they've surfaced, and they start acting more like their true selves, it comes as a startling shock to the others when they sporadically, unacknowledgingly break the laws of time, space, physics, what have you, all for a bit

fashion discourse on this site drives me insane because on one side you have liberals going "we need to Retvrn to the time when every single garment was handmade by tailors hand sewing every stitch and you should all pay 400$ for a dress." and on the other side you have marxists going "industrialisation and the accessibility of fashion is Not A Bad Thing what are you on about. it's actually fine that a blazer costs 20$" and like.... the second group is *closer* to being correct, obviously, but also. the first group isn't wrong when they say that current mass-produced fashion is by and large Terrible and some hand sewing should be brought back into it??
