the merfolk
they have a Kingdom in each ocean unlike the sirens which can only be found in the Xylem and bioluminescence sea. The merfolk Capital is in the bioluminescence sea and Queen Coral has a treaty with the pirates. They can be water or land dwelling depending on a few factors. If they are more humanoid in looks they have a human mate if they are gemstone skinned they are of the royal family. They are not to be messed with but are a relatively peaceful society.

NAME. Logon AGE & BIRTH DATE. 3,184 & Unknown GENDER & PRONOUNS. Male & He/Him SPECIES. High Elf COURT. Sun OCCUPATION. Architect FACE CLAIM. Harry Styles
BIOGRAPHY
The breeze of summer would ride on the edges of ocean waves, filling the Summer Court with salt in the air and life upon shores. Logon was born upon these shores, brought into the world a few centuries before there would be a Senate, before he would know how cruel the mortal realm could be. His parents, a Summer noble and his Spring warder, now had a new child to love and protect. Siblings were rare among his kind, but his older sister was of the Spring court, destined to ensure life among flora and fauna alike, while Logon would live upon the seafoam brought to the Summer Court, and the joy that followed. His name meant “the warm one,” and unsurprisingly, summer called to him.
Childhood among the Summer Court was celebrated; all fey life was precious, and while they were a vast species, safe in the faerie court, the stories of what happened in the mortal realm did not escape them. His fathers were warriors, they would leave him in the care of his older sister, who did her best as their absences began to extend longer and longer. Logon didn’t pay this any mind – time was endless in the faerie realm. Fifty years would pass and it felt like only a few months at most, until Logon was a warrior himself, swearing to protect the Summer Court, becoming the one to protect his sister’s kindness and her own little family, until curiosity would win out.
His young adult years were filled with magic and architecture. While he was not playing with fire, creating weapons and magical feats with a summer flare, he was building. Sketches that he’d learned from their elven days – his fathers had always spoken kindly towards what they used to have; what used to be, in Hyperborea. Drawings from their mothers and fathers that were taken from their old life, and Logon would attempt to recreate it. His architecture was beautiful, though only because he practiced and read every book that came to him. He’d wander the Otherworld with Aegnor, press the boundaries of Summer with Laer, and he’d watch and create buildings based on what he’d seen.
Over time, he grew to love what he did. The Summer Court was beautiful, and even as he watched the fey change and leave, Logon threw himself into continuing the beauty that could be reached within the faerie court. He’d gone into the mortal realm with his sister, he’d watched as the ancient civilizations of humans built wonders. With a little help here and there, Logon could help with the classical arches, moving into Ionic and Etruscan architecture – the summer eladrin could appreciate their tenacity to built, to bring some of the faerie beauty into the mortal realm. Until one day, it simply became too dangerous. It seemed to be a switch – vampires ran rampant everywhere, and Logon found it best to flee to the Court once more, though not before saying goodbye to the druids, witches, that he’d befriended.
Vampires were a bane, and it was too much for him to stick around to find out what else would happen. What he didn’t expect, however, was to be caught. Though it wasn’t by vampires, but the witches that he had shared his magic with. The ones that he’d shown how to build, how to protect – but his blood was potent. It was a resource, and it was too soon that he found himself in iron chains, the coven of blood witches binding his magic to a damp cavern, the threat of melted iron to be poured down his throat if he didn’t just cooperate. However, he was divine – he was above mortals, and he had been foolish to think that they would let him go if he simply asked. But he was eternal, and they needed him alive to continue, so he waited. Laer would come for him, eventually – perhaps his sister, one of his fathers. Yet as the weeks went by, the months passed, no one came. It would have been a blink of an eye to a summer eladrin, but it was far too long for one like him to remain in such mortal chains.
It was then that Logon knew he was too trusting. There were so few that he knew he could rely on. It only took a slip up, a silent song – all Logon had was time, and more and more they thought they’d had him. A prize, a fey that had fallen into a trap. They’d call him a fool, perhaps, but a fool would never have gotten revenge like he did. There was an ounce of magic that faltered. Someone’s slip up, or perhaps a death, and that’s when Logon unleashed the power of the sun that he was born beneath. Chains were melted away, the witches burned from the inside out – his song was viscous, and so was his return to the faerie court.
Time passed slowly for fae, and that was why his absence had not been questioned. He was no longer a child, but the wounds were fresh. He was dramatic, enough to allow his wrists to heal slowly, the burns never fading unless he wished them to. His sister pleaded with him not to go, but there was little left for him. She had her own family, his fathers were fighting beside their queen and prince – his other best friend who had never lifted a finger to find him. But her pleas fell on deaf ears. Once he knew Laer was gone, on a pilgrimage into the Otherworld, Logon departed through the Otherworld passage to the sea.
The Ocean floor was a blank slate. Perhaps one like him needed that. Death and abandonment had been burned into the forefront of his mind for too long. He wished to sing, he wished to fall away from everything that he remembered, and build something new once more. Beneath the crashing waves was where he began his song. Water filled his lungs like air, enchantments keeping him safe, as well as the kingdom he began to create. Pillars had fallen into the sea from buildings that came before the Greeks, before the Egyptians – he used those as trinkets, little reminders of the world above as he created palaces, homes, the sea life being the one thing that would give him company. It was better, down where it's wetter, after all.
Eventually, Logon knew others would find him. He’d created something beautiful and magnificent. Sand that took the shape of the Elven towers of old, seashells that would create a throne for his own sanctuary. Yet he never pretended to rule; there was no one to rule over but himself, an autonomy he craved due to what he’d suffered in the past. When others joined him, his sister and her family, exiles or fae who no longer knew what to do with themselves, they found refuge in their underwater home. It was safe, as Logon wished it to be, until one day – it simply wasn’t. Logon wished for time to stand still, but he was always failing in his attempt to stop time. Ships that came too close, hearing their songs from below, they’d fall victim to the fey. Capricious as they were, Logon would ensure they were dragged down to a watery grave. No one would bother them – yet fey were always hunted, and still, they suffered. Caught in traps where songs were useless, iron that speared them through and chained them like he had been once before. His sister left him once her child left for the mortal realm, the death of his warder father came to him on the lips of another, and Logon succumbed once more to his sad songs, ones filled with defeat – there was nothing left for him outside his little home.
His dream slowly slipped away, as did the fae that knew of Logon and his hiding place. The world has changed, they’d murmured to him, It is no longer the same. Yet more and more fey did not return, and Logon wished that he could simply stop the hand of time and make it leave him alone. As the ocean became more and more polluted, death began to surround him at every corner. Wars now sent mortal men to their watery graves, the sea animals began to die as they were hunted endlessly, and still Logon never changed. Gone were the songs that filled their underwater halls; gone were the celebrations of life as the merfolk were kept safe for another century. Begrudgingly, Logon would drag himself to the shores once a year, to see if there was anything worth living for once more.
The plight of the fae used to fall on his deaf ears. They had done nothing for him, but still, he was not an exile. He’d returned through the hidden portal beneath the sea that led into the Summer Court, into the realm that he’d been born into – yet away for longer than he’d been within. There was a new enemy, one that was told would come for him, too – and Logon finally agreed to pick up his sword once more. The spirit within was still on fire, and soon he’d ensure the water would dry upon his skin, and he’d burn once more.

Mage reader is definitely the type to purposefully jump into siren infested waters lmao.
⊹ ࣪ ˖ ﹏𓊝﹏﹏𓂁﹏﹏𓊝﹏﹏𓂁﹏⊹ ࣪ ˖
Like imagine you overhear some sailors talking about how they have to sail past siren territory and your ears perk up. You beg the sailors to let you join, under the pretence that you're a studious mage who's "researching sirens" and "studying their magic".
The sailors believe you and bring you along the trip to the rough waters of the siren's territory. They've all plugged and covered their ears as usual, except for you, you're too busy leaning over the ships edge to get a peak at any sirens below. And wouldn't you know, the second you hear the siren's song you're gone. Lost in a trance, blank expression unable to hear the sailors yelling at you as you stand up on the ships edge and jump right into the sea.
The cold waters shock you out of your trance as you take in the quiet surroundings, salt water burning your eyes. You try and swim to the surface but feel a strong tug on your leg. Squinting down into the deep darkness you finally see the creature you were looking for.
Dark black eyes stare up at you from below, it's powerful tail swaying behind it. The siren pulls you down, deeper into it's predatory hold with it's clawed hands. You stare at it in awe and the siren stares back, confused as to why you aren't struggling at all.
You then feel a pinch in your lungs as you run out of air. You promptly take both hands and firmly grasp the sirens cold cheeks before pulling the creature into a deep kiss.
The siren freezes in absolute shock as you kiss them deeply. The kiss breaths magic into your lungs, giving you temporary air. You release the sea creature from the kiss and take a hesitant breath.
"That actually worked?!?!"
Your excited yell comes out as just bubbles in the water as the siren continues to stare, dumbfounded. Your hands move from their cheeks to the sirens agape mouth, excitedly exclaiming how sharp their teeth are while touching the pointed tips with your fingers.
You're very touchy, the siren learns as they let you marvel at their body. Running your fingers down the sirens arm, comparing your hands, intertwining your fingers. The siren is at a complete loss of how to deal with this but before you can touch anything too important you feel that pinch in your lungs again.
You look up at the beast and tap your lips. The siren finally huffs at you in disbelief and you take that as a yes and pull them in for another deep kiss. You kiss for much longer than is necessary and you even try to sneak your tongue into the kiss which earns you a little nip from the siren.
The creature grins at you, pulls your body against theirs and comes to the conclusion not to eat you
You bring your arms around the shoulders of their much bigger frame as they hold you close to swim deeper into the cold depths.
They have to show the rest of the pod this very strange human they caught.

the merfolk ~
NAME. UTP. AGE & BIRTH DATE. UTP. SPECIES. Eladrin SEASON. UTP OCCUPATION. UTP.
To the ocean you pledged yourself, to the watery world below you built a court outside of the Otherworld. Your family was small, but tightly knit. It was here that you could still enjoy the mortal realm without ever needing to step foot on land, enchantments that brought air through water into your lungs and power to build a home of your own. Little by little you learned the price of isolation, those you love always leave you in the end and as curiosity got the better of you you and your fellows were made the things of legend. Merfolk, they called you, people of the sea who dragged merchants and sailors to a watery grave. They hunted you and in the depths of the sea you wept for the ones that did not escape the iron chains. Once a year you pledged to return to land, if only to see how the world above would change from the one you’d once known and once a year you found yourself tempted to linger for longer and longer. Now you drag your limbs from the river to Rome to see a world in upheaval.

Damn it, not again
Danny Fenton is fucking tired of rich fruitloops trying to adopt him.
At first it was just Vlad Masters. But no, it couldn’t stop there.
He moved to Metropolis City for college, and some bald guy tried to approach him talking about how he was interested in his family’s tech and they could use it to defeat Superman and lead humanity into a new age.
Which, fuck no, creep.
So he transferred to a different college in Gotham. And of course Danny can never have nice things, so the resident billionaire there had to take interest in him too after the city’s vigilantes caught him phasing through his house’s window.
Well okay maybe that one was on him, he could have been more careful with his powers, but still.
So he moved again, this time to somewhere remote with as few billionaires as possible.
…Where he then promptly gets kidnapped by ninjas and wakes up in the cult-y basement of yet another fruitloop, this time one spouting off about immortality and Lazarus something-or-other.
Where else can he go at this point!? Space???
…Nah, knowing his luck that’d probably end up with an alien fruitloop trying to adopt him as a pet or something
Maybe the deep ocean would work?
