Whenever I write fics I like to say that Sky's already been married for a little while. Probably only 1-2 years, and that he's just always been very loving to Sun. I don't remember if he's just dating her canonically, or if they're engaged already, or what, but I think they deserve to be happy together after everything they've been through.

I also like to say that Sky started playing the harp as an excuse to spend more time with Sun, but then over time he became genuinely invested in it and takes practicing and improving more seriously than Sun does. Although they both do it for the enjoyment they get out of it and sometimes as a bonding activity.

Yesyesyesyes you are absolutely correct-

In Skyward Sword if you go into Zelda/Sun's room, you can see she has an envelope with a heart on it on her desk and considering how she says that she has something she needs to tell Link/Sky right before Ghirahim's tornado strikes... yeah I'm guessing that those two weren't quite dating at the start of the game, but the feelings were definitely there !

I'm so glad you enjoy my fics and characters!

Tips to get into fic writing? Hmm...I mean, I know it's probably said a lot, but my biggest advice is don't be afraid to start. The first fic you ever write won't be perfect, it'll be far from that, and you've just gotta be ok with that. The best thing you can do is start, write something and post it, see what people think, see what you liked and didn't like about it...then do it again!

As far as like...actual advice, I'd say participate in a writing challenge! Like Febuwhump which is going on right now! 😆 It'll force you to take a prompt, make something of it, post it quickly and then move on. You'll end up with a big chunk of fics and feedback on at least some of them I'm sure, and you can go from there! Also you'd be surprised what sort of storylines might accidentally form during a writing challenge...Traveling Thieves came out of my Whumptober prompts from last year, after all!

My last bit of advice would be to not start with a long fic. By that what I mean is don't try to write some huge overarching narrative...start with something smaller.

Your favorite ship needs to get together, who asks who out? How did that go? What was their first date like? What about their first kiss? How long did it take for them to say 'I love you'? That's like four or five short fics right there. 😛

The reason I write my AU's the way I do is because of stuff like this. It's scary writing a long fic (trust me I've done it a ton of times) because once you bypass a certain point in the story, you can never go back. The fun thing about my AU's being a series of short stories is that I can always bounce up and down the timeline! If you've been keeping up with TTSBC you can see it! I wrote Flower Husbands all the way up to Scott knowing about Jimmy's wings and consistently spending the night at his apartment. They've fought, they've said 'I love you', Scott has been to the under-city and met Jimmy's parents...but I suddenly felt like writing more details about their early game relationship! Before Scott know Jimmy's big secret, before they'd said 'I love you' or anything like that...so guess what? I did just that! I wrote 'Karma Witch' and 'Lovestruck Baby' after I'd written fics like 'Gutterline Sunshine' because that's the greatest part of this set up! I can bounce around! I never get bored or stuck on one plot point because if I don't feel like working on it, then I don't have too! So if you're into worldbuilding and wanna create an AU to have your characters all exist in, I'd super super super recommend using the 'shorter stories in an interconnected series' format.

Pearl and Grian last saw each other when they were sold away form their colony at fifteen years old. It's been seven years since then, but considering they're twins and they were both already mostly grown before they were sold away? Yes. They would definitely recognize each other if they saw each other again. The problem would be if they'd allow themselves to admit they recognized each other...cut ties and forgotten names and all. 😭

By the time you enter your apartment you're so deep in your own thoughts you don't hear Bruce slam the door or call your name the first time.

"Maybe I should call my parents." You mutter to yourself.

"Y/n!" You snap your head to him when his voice finally registers.

"What? Why are you yelling?"

"Don't tell me you're actually considering what those lunatics had to say as factual!" Bruce says.

"Well I- I want to dismiss it but-"

"Then dismiss it. Because it's obviously baseless."

"I just don't see why they would lie."

"Werewolves aren't exactly known for their honesty y/n."

"Maybe not but it doesn't make sense Bruce."

"Let's not forget these guys have it out for me. They're obviously trying to drive a wedge between us. To ruin my life or something."

"Bruce, I don't think this is about you." You say quietly.

"Excuse me?"

"I mean, I've met these guys three times and it's only today that they even realized who you were. I don't think they said that with you in mind."

"You really think they only knew who I was today?"

"You think they lied about that too?"

"Why wouldn't they?"

"Why would they Bruce? Are you implying they've known we were together before they even met you? Keep in mind I did see them once before you did."

"I don't know! They're not only telling you you're a wolf but that I already know that, I mean what kind of accusations are those? They're absolutely insane."

"I don't like that you're just... calling them crazy Bruce." You frown.

"You believe them?" Bruce scoffs.

"I don't know. What Steve said... about the hearing and the strength. I mean, what if they're right? What if I am a werewolf?"

"The word of two strangers is going to make you question everything you've ever known about yourself?"

"Supernaturals can usually detect each other can't they?"

"They can also lie." Bruce says. He grabs you by the shoulders and stares at you intensely. "Y/n, these men, they don't know you. They don't know us. Don't let them make you question who you are."

"Maybe you're right." You mutter.

"I am. Trust me." Bruce tells you. You nod.

"This whole thing is so weird." You shake your head.

"I think we should get the police involved."

"And tell them what? Send them where? We don't know anything about them except their names and it seems like Steve and Bucky are exactly who you think they are which means the police won't stop them anyway. With our luck they'll hear about the call before cops can even be dispatched." You shrug.

"I just don't want you to feel in danger." Bruce wraps his arms around you tightly.

"I don't. I'm a little frustrated by how confusing this has become but I don't feel like I'm in danger." You say into his chest.

"If that changes-"

"I will let you know." You say. "I'm gonna call Wanda." You tell him.

"No problem, I'll grab you when dinner's sorted in a few hours." Bruce says and the two of you part for you to go to your room and dial your best friend.

"I saw Steve and Bucky today and they told me I'm a werewolf and that Bruce knows." You tell her as soon as she picks up.

"Well hello to you too." Wanda says.

"Sorry, hi. I just feel like my head is going to explode."

"Because Steve and Bucky think you're a werewolf?"

"Yes. I was gonna call my parents and ask but-"

"Hang on; why would- what do Bucky and Steve know about werewolves?"

"Well I'm pretty sure they are werewolves. At the very least they are supernaturals. They said so. Bruce thinks it doesn't make sense to question my life based on the word of two guys I don't even know. Which I get the sentiment of but I dunno I could clear up my confusion with a phone call very quickly."

"Do you think it had any merit?"

"I- I'm not sure. Steve mentioned my hearing and my strength being... better than average which- is ya know true. But wouldn't I know if I was a werewolf? Wouldn't my parents tell me?"

"Well, I can't answer that question. I think if it's something you really want an answer to you should call your parents. If you think Steve and Bucky are just a little off their rockers then ignore them. I mean how did that come up anyway?"

"We ran into them again and they realized Bruce studied supernaturals which riled them up and they told me people like Bruce are only looking to control or hurt me. Bruce thinks they're lying to drive us apart."

"Well, at least one of them does seem to have a thing for you. If they can plant enough doubt in your relationship that you break up then whichever one of them has a crush on you can swoop in and save the day. Making you question if you can trust him seems like a pretty easy way to drive a wedge between you." Wanda says and when she maps it out like that you think twice about believing Steve and Bucky about any of this.

"Holy shit- that is so underhanded!" You exclaim.

"Yeah, well, all is fair in love and war they say."

"Well they'll have to try a lot harder to destroy the foundation of our relationship." You huff out.

"So, you think they're lying about the wolf thing?"

"I think- that makes the most sense. They find out Bruce studies supernaturals and they, understandably have beef with him over that so they try to turn me against him." You shrug.

"Well, if you believe that, then that's what it is. No need to look into it further." Wanda tells you.

"Thank you. Bruce tried talking me through it but since I know he's in direct opposition to them it's hard to know if his views on the matter are clouded." You sigh.

"Must be stressful." She chuckles.

"Only every two weeks."

"What?"

"Well I realize you and me, we ran into Steve and Bucky the first time a month ago, and then two weeks later Bruce and I ran into them, and another two weeks later- today, we ran into them again. So I think- I'll see them again in two weeks if the strange pattern continues."

"Do you think it's intentional?"

"I dunno, I don't think it's possible. Every time I've seen them it's been in a different place- I mean, they'd have to be tracking me to be running into me intentionally. And why space it out every two weeks?"

"Good point. It's just an interesting coincidence."

"Yeah I'll say." You snort. "I will call you later, I think I'm gonna work on some projects." You tell her.

"Okay! Call if you start having another identity crisis." She jokes.

"Fuck off." You chuckle hanging up the phone. How lucky you are to have Wanda in your life. Not that Bruce is typically ineffective at calming you down it's just- with his personal connection in this situation it's hard to believe his point of view is impartial. Another point of view is exactly what you needed.

You pull down the box of books you're looking for from storage at work. With the box cutter, you tear open the tape and take the open box to the section you're restocking.

"Hey y/n!" You hear Peter before you see him.

"What's up Parker?" You ask, looking at him.

"Oh well it should apply automatically once you scan the sixth book actually but if it doesn't there's a manual code you can enter. Here I'll walk you through it." You stand up and walk towards the register with Peter in tow.

"Hello, sorry to keep you waiting." You say cheerily to the woman standing at the counter with her books.

"Oh no problem!" She smiles.

"Okay so if you've finished scanning them and the discount didn't apply you can just go here and click this and input the code manually." You tell him, typing the code and showing him how to do it. "Your total is going to be $53.71." You say to the customer.

"Oh okay manual code got you. Thanks." Peter nods while finishing the transaction.

"Do you want me to write the code down for you?" You ask.

"Nah I think I got it. My memory is pretty good." He says.

"Alright well I'll go back to shelving things." You say patting him on the shoulder. You hear the bell at the front of the store ring as you walk away from Peter.

"Sunsh- y/n!" The voice stops you in your tracks and you turn around to see Bucky and Steve strolling towards you.

"Steve, Bucky, what are you doing here?" You frown.

"We were in the neighborhood and decided to stop by when we saw you." Steve says.

"Bruce is not a hunter and I'm happy with him. I don't appreciate you diminishing my relationship that way."

"You're happy because he's lying to you and you haven't figured it out." Steve tells you.

"I've known Bruce for years and you're just some guys who complimented me in a sandwich shop one day and haven't left me alone since so excuse me if I trust my boyfriend more than you." You roll your eyes. Bucky holds up a bag that you didn't realize he was holding. "Are you trying to buy my affections?" You ask.

"No, of course not. Who you choose to show affection to is your decision, always, and we would never try to get them disingenuously. We just saw this and thought of you." Steve explains.

"And you just happened to bring it with you on the day you happen to walk into my job?" You cross your arms.

"I was meeting a business associate when I saw you in here so I asked Steve to pick it up on his way to meet me hoping you'd still be in here when he got here. I honestly thought you were shopping in here not working." Bucky offers.

"The more questions I ask the more you guys seem like stalkers." You roll your eyes.

"We really aren't trying to make you uncomfortable but Banner is a risk to your safety." Steve says.

"Hm the two strangers who keep flirting with me and ignoring my relationship and finding me around the city are warning me about my safety. Do you see how that doesn't make sense?"

"You don't think we're going to hurt you." Bucky says.

"I have no idea if you are."

"It wasn't a question. If you thought you were in danger you wouldn't be talking to us like this." He tells you and you force yourself to keep a neutral expression.

"You considered it. Didn't you? That you're one of us. I could see it in your eyes last time we spoke." Steve says.

"No I didn't consider it because it makes no sense and you both need to leave. I've asked you before to quit talking to me, if you're so 'not a danger' to me respect my boundaries and leave me alone." You tell them walking off to finish restocking. You hear the bell over the door ding and a few moments later Peter comes back to where you are.

"Hey uh- those guys left this for you." Peter says holding out the gift bag to you. Reluctantly, you take it from him, your curiosity getting the better of you as you open the bag to find what is clearly jewelry. You open the velvet box to find a necklace, a thin chain holding a sun cutout pendant. It's a gorgeous necklace and yet another reference to their silly radiance compliment. "Do you- know them?" Peter asks.

"Not really. They complimented me once and now I keep running into them. I'm starting to think they're stalking me."

"Are you scared? Do you want to call the police?"

"Nah, police don't help people anyway. All those two have done is call me pretty and give me a gift. No crime has been committed so the police can't do anything even if I wanted to get them involved. Plus I- for some irrational reason don't think they're a danger to me." You shrug. "Can't let them know that though, they're actively trying to destroy my relationship." You hum and Peter can't help but laugh.

"So- you're okay?" Peter asks.

"Yeah I'm okay sweetie. Thanks for checking although, you are the kid in our relationship I'm supposed to be looking after you." You nudge him.

"We look out for each other now." He says with a smile.

"Yeah yeah, go back up to the register, so if someone comes in they know people work here." You chuckle and Peter walks off. When your shift ends and you go back to your apartment, Bruce isn't home yet which is probably best. You haven't figured out how to smoothly mention this run-in with Steve and Bucky. It's a few hours later when you hear the door open and shut.

"Babe! You home?" Bruce calls through the apartment and you pop out of your room to greet him.

"Hi Bruce! How was your day?" You ask kissing him on the cheek.

"Ah it was alright, I was just at the lab really." He shrugs. With the semester over for Bruce the professor, he spends most days working on his supernatural research at his lab.

"Oh hey are you done with that vampire you mentioned a while ago who eats animals? It's been over 3 months at this point, yeah?"

"Actually no, we're still running some experiments."

"Experiments? I thought you didn't experiment on supernaturals."

"Well, wait it's an observational experiment! We're not doing anything he can't consent to. Really we're just testing how dietary changes affect other things like his strength and speed and such. Nothing bad." He shrugs.

"Why would you call it an experiment if you're just observing things." You roll your eyes and he chuckles a bit.

"What's with all the questions? Second guessing my ethics?"

"No! Of course not. I know your research is important to you and I want you to know your interests matter to me." You say walking away. Bruce grabs your hand before you can get far and pulls you towards him again.

"Hey, I wasn't being serious. I just know how you feel about my research so I'm surprised you're asking so much." Bruce says kissing your forehead.

"It matters to you, so every once in a while I'll ask." You smile at him.

"Alright. I appreciate your interest. How was your day?"

"It was fine, work was work." You shrug subtly leading Bruce into the living room.

"Nothing interesting happened today?" Bruce asks.

"Well something happened but I'm going to ask that you sit down for this." You say.

"Why?" Bruce chuckles sitting in the armchair in your living room.

"I'm also going to stand over here, so you have space to pace when you inevitably get up after I tell you." You say walking to a side of the living room, leaning against a wall.

"What's going on babe? You're starting to worry me. Did you wipe a computer or something?" He asks.

"No actually I think you'd react better to that."

"Well that's enough build up. What happened?"

"Steve and Bucky came to my job today." You say.

"What?! They know where you work now?!" Bruce is on his feet immediately.

"It would appear so." You nod. "They said they were in the area and saw me when they walked by- since the front of the store is like- all glass."

"Okay now they must be fucking stalking you."

"I told them that actually."

"You told them you thought they were stalking you?"

"Yes and they insisted they were just in the area and saw me through the window."

"Oh and you believe them." Bruce scoffs.

"Hey don't catch an attitude with me I'm only the victim in this situation." You cross your arms.

"I'm sorry.  Look I really think it's time to get the police involved."

"For what Bruce? You keep saying that but they can't do anything. All Steve and Bucky have done is run into me in public. They compliment me and give me a gift which means what exactly? The police won't do anything until my life is probably in danger. Essentially they'd have to make an attempt on my life for cops to take me seriously."

"By the time that happens it'll be too late." Bruce sighs.

"I don't think that's going to happen."

"What?"

"I don't think they're going to harm me."

"Based on- what exactly?"

"I mean- think about it Bruce, it's been what? Two months since my first interaction with them? If they were going to kidnap me or kill me- what's stopping them from having done it already? You? No offense babe I love you but let's be realistic here they could fucking dog walk you. So it's not that you're a threat. And if they're these big wolfy crime lords with all the connections that come with that they're practically untouchable so it can't be legal repercussions they're worried about. Which leaves us with really just one possibility, the only reason they haven't is because I haven't chosen them. They aren't going to force me to do anything. They've said as much." You shrug.

"They said they wouldn't force you to do anything? And you don't find that specification incredibly manipulative?"

"No because it was in direct response to a question. I asked if they were trying to buy my affections with their silly gift and Steve said my affections aren't to be bought."

"I think it's a bit naive to believe them. Why on earth are you defending them?!"

"I'm not defending anybody. I've been thinking about it and there's nothing protecting me from them besides my own opposition. If they were going to act with force they could've done it a long time ago."

"Lulling you into a false sense of security is-"

"Not necessary for apex predators. They don't need to convince me they're safe for me to be around when they have pretty much nothing standing in their way really. They're stronger than me, and you, they're probably legally invincible, and I mean they found out where I worked pretty easily even if it was a coincidence."

"I just don't understand how you can trust that they aren't going to hurt you just because they said they won't force you to love them."

"I don't trust them and I don't have to! The only person I'm trusting is myself and I would appreciate it if you trusted me too!"

"Of course I trust you!"

"Do you? Because you don't listen to me! Ever since you found out this werewolf mafia might be after you, you've made yourself the end all be all authority on safety and security! Nothing I say about the matter seems to get through to you! I know you worry but why is it that my opinion on the situation is being completely dismissed?!"

"I'm not trying to dismiss you."

"Every time I leave you're more paranoid than me and it's me that they seem to care about! Yeah, they don't like you but at this point, all they've expressed is wanting to get me away from you."

"And that's something you're okay with?"

"No? Who cares if I'm okay with it? I can't control what they do. All I'm saying is to quit acting like I'm incapable of judging the danger of a situation. You keep calling me naive because I'm telling you to calm the fuck down. I've lived a lot more years without you than I have with you and I live every day with the knowledge that not being a man is inherently dangerous. You don't need to warn me that strange men might hurt me. I've known it my whole life." You say. Your words hang in the air for several moments before Bruce lets out a sigh and sits down.

"You're right. I'm sorry. I feel like I'm apologizing a lot. I don't mean to frustrate you so much I'm just- I can't help but stress over this whole thing. I have no control here and I don't know how I'd live with myself if something happened to you because of me." He says dropping his head into his hands. You sit in front of him on the coffee table and pull his hands from his face.

"Bruce, you can't prevent something you can't foresee. And worrying yourself into a tizzy over that which you can't control will only do you harm."

"You really think they won't hurt you?"

"Well I obviously can't say for sure, and I'm not stupid enough to trust near strangers but I just think it's unlikely because they've had plenty of opportunities already. Granted tons of serial killers start out being real nice to their victims." You frown. Bruce closes his eyes and sighs in that way he does when someone stresses him out and you can't help but giggle.

"Why would you do that? Why would you say that? You're trying to rationalize this for me and now I'm even more worried."

"Sorry it just occurred to me. Either they aren't gonna hurt me or they're serial killers." You shrug.

"You're terrible at this you know? And way too calm about the possibility that they could murder you."

"Well... I'll be dead if they do. Obviously, I'm not rooting for them to be serial killers and I won't go down without a fight but like- I don't really have to deal with the aftermath of them being serial killers. I have to actually deal with them if they turn out to just genuinely be trying to woo me. So- silver lining."

"Not for me." He chuckles.

"Okaaay silver lining for you; if they are serial killers we have plenty of time to plan for it and be several steps ahead of them!"

"You are ridiculous." He laughs louder now and you smile as the tension leaves him.

"Thank you!" You beam.

"Thank you." He says quietly once he's settled.

"Anytime baby." You wink and stand from the table. If they aren't serial killers you have to deal with the very real possibility that they're telling the truth about who you are, and about Bruce which could blow up your entire life. But you're sure telling Bruce you're even considering that would not be a good idea. So even though it weighs on your mind- for now you'll keep that to yourself.

I've noticed the daddy issues with literally every single Venusian man I know 🤣🤣🤣 and yk what's even more funny??? They all adore/borderline worship their moms 😭😭

In many instances their dads were kind of losers that their moms had to settle for and thus from early childhood they wanted to "be the man" of the household to make life easier for her and this developed into a need to do the same in relationships because they saw their own dad's as being very beta and not provider-y and try to overcompensate with their heightened masculinity. They're softies on the inside but they put on suchhhh a tough guy exterior because they despise such weakness and very much wants to be perceived as "a real man" 👀

The number of times a Venus man has told me something along the lines of "a real man would never let the..." or "real men don't depend on their women to run the house" or whatever is insane 💀💀💀 they saw their moms struggle and it left a deep impression on their psyche, so they spend their whole lives trying to make things easier for her and for "their" women. These men seem disgusted as hell by their fathers 🤡 it's 🤧🤧🤧

But yk as you said, trying to be the "man" who takes care of your mom and competing with your dad from childhood kinda puts you in a strange headspace when it comes to women 😣😣😣 because in this dynamic, he can never be her man. No matter how big of a loser the dad is, he's still the dad 😖😖

This means they endure a lot of humiliation and perceived betrayal throughout childhood bc their moms can't leave their incompetent husbands etc or no matter what the Venus boy does, he can't be the father 😔 as adults in love, they're already preconditioned to give love one way endlessly and get nothing in return.

The humiliation and rejection does not bother them because they've already spent their whole childhood enduring it at home 😔😔so they'll just obsess over you and project on to you even if you're not dating them or interested in them. They can be doormats this way 😔😔 it reminds me of Jane (I think that was her name?) from Forrest Gump who never reciprocates Forrest's love for her but uses him time and again. I'm a little bit stuck, and in the same boat as a recent anon. I met this guy a little over a year ago, and we immediately hit it off. Not long after he introduced me to everyone important to him in his life, including his girlfriend. I knew pretty immediately that I liked him a lot, and I found myself quietly adoring her too. I NEVER planned on saying or doing anything, because they're in a very committed relationship - they've been dating for years and grew up together. I knew I had no chance, so I just kept acting normal and the same. Until December, when the guy came to me and quietly told me he has feelings for me. And he was freaking out a little bit, because he's never ever had this with anyone except his girlfriend. I admitted I felt the same, but didn't want to do anything without her knowing or being apart of it, and she needed to know. He seemed pretty relieved I was on the same page - she came first. Always.

And then - nothing. I've not heard anything more on this. He's acted a lot more flirty and cuddly and sweet than before, sure, and his girlfriend has been more awesome (I can't tell if anythings different, admittedly, because she's always been this cool and thoughtful and kind,) (I also admit that I got them both valentine's gifts, and they both really loved theirs - except I overheard him quietly crying and her comforting him because he hadn't gotten her anything for valentines) but -- nothing. I have no idea if she knows, or what she knows. I have no idea where I stand in all this. I don't know if they'd be open to polyam or not, genuinely. Whenever it comes up (unrelated,) they seem squirmy about it but don't voice any disagreement or belief that it's "bad."

It feels stupid to have hope. I know we need to talk, at least me with this guy, but I don't want to ruin what they have with each other. I'm not from the same place as them, we just go to school together. I'm just some guy. They're kind of codependent, honest to god soulmates - I don't want to ruin them. I don't want to ruin anything. And I know talking will change everything.

I mean, you already said you know you need to talk🗣️ to them, or at least him. So do it, or be okay with it possibly never resolving one way or the other.

I don't think talking about it will drastically change everything, necessarily. Especially if you just ask him alone for an update, and you trust him to give an honest answer. I see no reason why you shouldn't do that. You don't have to make a big thing of it. Just "you've been awfully flirty lately!😉 does this mean you got the go-ahead from [girlfriend]?"

The biggest thing I'd advise is having at least half a plan for every answer he could give to that. What do you do if he floated the idea by her but she seemed nervous? She didn't commit to an answer? She actually said no months ago but he just wants to keep flirting? She actually said yes months ago and he's been weirdly dragging his feet about it? He never even asked? How far with the flirting do you think is ethical to go if she wasn't fully okay with polyamory or doesn't know? At what point, if any, do you go to her and talk things through with her?

Confront the reality you might have to stop, you might have to stop HIM if he just wants to keep flirting without her knowledge and consent. Practice saying it with me: Then I think we need to dial things back for now. Out loud "Then I think we need to dial things back for now". You really don't sound like you want to do this girlfriend wrong, so be prepared to put your foot down and do the right thing -- the painful thing -- if it comes to it.

You want to do the right thing, and you want to love💙💖🖤. Those are good things, noble things. Remember how beautiful that is, and remember these perfect intentions to motivate you to do scary things. And you are strong enough to do it. I am proud of you.

Backstory (just a little rundown):

Ivory's always been one for an adrenaline rush, even when she was young. She grew up with her little sister, Evelynn, and their mother. New additions would be added to the family, however, when their mother encountered two foxes alone in the rain, offering them a home of which became permanent, and adoption was inevitable. One adventure went poorly, with the four siblings forcing themselves to separate — Ivory and her older brother finding themselves under the willing, yet rather reluctant order of Dr. Robitnik himself. This wasn't permanent, as working with the doctor led them to discover the whereabouts of their little brother, who had been taken under the care of a blue hedgehog. Inevitably, they disbanded themselves from the evil mastermind, and the story takes on from there.

Xavier Prower - Older brother by adoption, and her go-to partner in crime. Though he oftentimes acts exasperated and maintains a more sassy and nonchalant attitude, he still takes up offers to get into random bullshit with his sister. ... As long as she's safe, of course.

Evelynn Belle - Younger sister biologically—and while the gap is only far two years, with Ivory obviously being the oldest, it can be said that Evelynn is a bit more responsible than Ivory. That doesn't mean the little witch (taken after their mother) won't get into a few things...

Miles "Tails" Prower - Baby brother, whom of which she adores. Enjoys bringing him random parts to use on inventions, and listens to him as he talks in languages she will never understand (science). Reminds her of Robitnik, though cuter and not evil.

Eggman - Former boss, whom she's on decent terms with. "Decent," as in, "oh, of course I won't be late to the tea-date this Friday. Did you have a movie picked out already or are we just talking?" When with the "Hero" side of the team, she'll fight Eggman with them, but she's more taunting... Kinda like Sonic, but on a less personal level.

Sonic the Hedgehog - Respects, mostly because he's not opposed to get into trouble with her. Quite close, and they've eventually picked up the name "Disaster Duo" overtime as adventures dwelled on. Also respects him for taking care of Tails for a few years, of course.

Amy Rose - Extremely close - like the big sister figure she never had. Absolutely adores Amy, and isn't afraid to show it. Even when Amy's chasing her with a giant hammer to get her to chill out... they're pretty awesome together.

Shadow the Hedgehog - Respects... But unintentionally gets under his skin. She just thinks he's really interesting. Apparently, she's considered lucky—the blue blur envies her ability to get close to Shadow without a harsh quip. She still oftentimes gets scolded and brushed away, though.

Silver the Hedgehog - Best friend. Sparring buddies. Platonic soulmates (aside from her and Amy). The contrast in personalities, mixed with a lot of commons, is absolutely amazing to her, and often enjoys gardening with the white hedgehog. Holds him to pretty high regard.

Personality:

Mostly upbeat and optimistic, despite also being a realist. Very cheeky, yet kinda tired most of the time. She's content sitting in one place doing nothing, but she doesn't prefer it. Can absolutely be serious, but on rare occasion does she actually get scary. One of the times being when a couple of jerks started messing with Amy while she was babysitting Cream ... Just a look sent them running for the green hills.

So, I have a theory about GawinKrist and Gawin's vampire show with Joss that seemed to come out of nowhere.

THE GOLDEN BLOOD THEORY

Gawin's been around since 2018, but he didn't get a main role in a BL until Be My Favorite. Back in (presumably) 2017, he worked as an usher at a movie theater after graduating from high school in the States in 2016. His two biggest roles before BMF were arguably Mork in the Kiss series (2018-2019), and Dan in Not Me (2021).

He was also the best part of Enchanté (2022), but tragically not one of the main cast.

After Gawin stuck with GMMTV through the worst of the pandemic regulations that restricted filming and then thoroughly proved his range in Not Me, I have a feeling that GMMTV was finally planning to give him his first leading role in a BL series: a vampire series opposite Joss planned for 2023.

Then, unexpectedly, Mike left his leading role in Be My Favorite in maybe August or September, and this is presumably when GMMTV looked at their options for Krist's costar and decided Gawin was their best bet.

Here's my thinking: if Golden Blood was planned for 2023, then GMMTV would have announced it at their showcase for 2023 programming in November of 2022. But the Be My Favorite recasting of Mike for Gawin was announced in September of 2022, so GMMTV could have easily pulled Golden Blood from the lineup and pushed it back a year. Since Gawin has never had a partner and Joss has never been in BL before this, no one was expecting a series from them, so no one would have known to expect anything from Gawin at all. Based on conversations I've had with Gawin's fans, he'd been so inactive that they didn't think he'd have a series at all in 2023.

Meanwhile, GMMTV had already announced Be My Favorite at their 2021 showcase of 2022 programming, and the director Waa had requested more time to work on the script in 2022, so the air date was pushed to 2023. As of September of 2022, Be My Favorite was announced, anticipated, already pushed back a year, and most likely paid for, so it was probably considered a high-priority series. Not to mention it had one of the Holy Trinity and the director of The Gifted attached, and it was to be the first BL series produced by Parbdee Studios.

My mantra with GMMTV for the past several months has been this:

They're incompetent, not malicious.

The fact that Gawin Caskey, better known to most for singing rather than acting, had never performed onstage before this summer at MUSICON in Japan and had to go to Krist before the second show because he had no idea what to talk about between songs is bonkers to me. Like, I'm not at all a GMMTV anti. I praise them when they deserve it, but holy shit. You've had a talent like Gawin Caskey for five years and you only just put him onstage this year?

I think SOTUS being the shock hit that saved them from bankruptcy is a good summary of how GMMTV seems to operate, at least from what I've seen: they throw stuff at a wall and sometimes it works really well! They like money a lot, so if money happens immediately, they do more of that even if they have no idea how it happened or why it was appealing.

Speaking of which—

GAWINKRIST & BE MY FAVORITE PROMOTION

Over the course of filming and promotion, Krist and Gawin became very close. They've both called each other their safe zone, Gawin moved his TV into Krist's house to be a second gaming screen for a while because he was over there constantly, and Krist got Gawin three (3) separate, custom birthday cakes in August (one at a small surprise party, one at the BMF final episode screening, and one at Gawin's birthday event). Krist even integrated Gawin into his university friend group, which is so absolutely fucking wild I can't even. Krist is twenty-eight years old and he adores Gawin so much he wanted Gawin to be part of a friend group he's had for ten years.

Gawin adores Krist's favorite child, they went to an art gallery, and once they even tried to bring a guitar to a beach at night to play music to the stars or some shit (the beach was closed they're both ridiculous). So when Krist calls Gawin "my precious buddy" he doesn't do it as some fanservice thing. They are basically family at this point, regardless of what happens in their professional lives, and it was a beautiful dynamic to watch over the summer.

Part of what made their chemistry so natural in Be My Favorite probably had a lot to do with how much they opened up to each other. Back in May, Krist shared that because he and Gawin aren't especially fond of social media, they discussed how to do the necessary promotion for their series comfortably. Krist actually got Gawin Caskey on TikTok to do TikTok dances, so once again: very good friends.

They also shared videos of them just hanging out at Krist's house eating snacks and playing video games, or playing guitar and riffing, playing with harmonies so beautiful I mourn daily that they don't have an album together.

When the series started airing, Krist invited Gawin to his house to watch the episodes together and go over their acting choices. But GMMTV had also scheduled Krist for a slew of solo concerts throughout Asia, so he had to watch some of them alone on the road overseas. What would have been a fun weekly promotion opportunity was complicated by GMMTV's bizarrely timed scheduling. (Of course, Krist rarely has a day off in general, but you'd think they'd organize his schedule to prioritize his first BL series since 2017.)

Be My Favorite didn't get much promotion overall compared to other GMMTV series, and GawinKrist especially seemed to be treated sort of as an afterthought. They had a few podcast interviews, they went to see Elementals at the cinema (which ended up inspiring Krist's theme for his solo "Elements" concerts in Bangkok), they went to Japan together for MUSICON, Aye had them sing on her channel, and they had a live session for RISER. Those were all the major ones, I think. Not nothing, but there were a ton of missed opportunities for more.

And for a company whose CEO recently touted their actors as influencers and obsesses over Twitter hashtag trends and viewing numbers, the lack of opportunities they gave GK is a little unusual to me.

Unless GMMTV knew they had a vampire series starring Gawin and another actor that they'd postponed. And it'd be announced at their showcase for 2024 programming in October shortly after Be My Favorite ended in August.

It might also explain why, when pretty much every other series had a song performed at the showcase medley, Be My Favorite wasn't included. Even though Krist and Gawin are both known singers who had four songs in Be My Favorite between them.

In the immediate aftermath of the showcase, a lot of GawinKrist fans were unhappy with the news of Gawin's new series, myself included. I'm not a big vampire fan in general, and I'm not impressed with the teaser, the director, or the screenwriter, so I probably won't be watching it. (BounPrem's vampire series is starring BounPrem, so that's why that one's my exception.) I am, however, very happy for Gawin for getting more main character money and remaining in a lead role. He's an absolute sweetheart, and I hope he has more music in 2024 that I can support.

As days passed after the showcase, the more I thought about Golden Blood and where it came from. GMMTV is incompetent, sure, and GawinKrist didn't make the same waves as other pairs, but they definitely have a committed fanbase, and Be My Favorite got overwhelmingly positive reviews, particularly for GawinKrist's chemistry. They trended consistently whenever they did anything, and most intriguingly, Japanese fans really love them thanks to MUSICON and FanFest. Japanese magazines are still releasing interviews and photoshoots with GawinKrist to this day (with plans for more!).

The only thing that makes sense to me is that Golden Blood was meant to happen first, and GMMTV didn't want to waste resources pushing GawinKrist over the summer when they knew Gawin would have to start from scratch with Joss in October.

It's kind of wild to think about, but if Mike hadn't left Be My Favorite, it would have gone ahead as planned, and Golden Blood would have aired this year at some point. And that would mean there's a timeline out there where Gawin and Krist were never cast together, and this beautiful friendship they created never happened. They never got to experience that safe zone they found in each other, and they never would have known what they were missing.

I'm still sad that their professional time together was so short, but this theory makes me feel better about it because rather than being something we were robbed of, they were a gift we never expected.

And just like KristSingto before them, GawinKrist are still close, still friends, and can enjoy their time together without the added pressure of selling and promoting their closeness. They can be friends without scrutiny. They can count their series as a point of pride. This unexpected masterpiece that brought them together.

And maybe someday, when their schedules line up again, they can make the beautiful fucking album that I deserve. [fire emoji]

But the three of them!!! it would be so soft and soooo sweet!!!!

I started making a plot in my head because I've been brain-rotting over this for a few hours now, but imagine...

Mick plots with the team to get Lew and Seb together. Once he's explained to the team that Lewis' crush is absolutely not one-sided, everyone agrees to help. Everything is calculated. For example, Mick will invite Toto and Susie to his place and Switzerland and they'll gang up on Lewis to drag him there too, just so he can see Seb because they know they miss each other. Mick will invite Seb to come to the GP where he is driving for one of the Free Practices because "I need advice Seb!!! And Lew will be busy I can't bother him!" (which is a big fat lie because Lewis has been amazing and always takes to time to explain him stuff and help him.)

And once Seb agrees, Mick will hang out with him the whole weekend and bring Lewis into their conversation and time together all the time, so they end up spending a lot of time together. The whole team will slowly try and convince Seb to come and work with them as an advisor (can you tell I'm missing him already?), and Seb agrees because goddammit he misses f1 so bad. He won't come to every race, but he'll be there sometimes, and at the factory too, and it will just be normal to see Mick, Lewis and Seb together. When Mick tries to withdraw to give them time alone, they always find him and drag him back with them, but Mick won't complain for sure.

And pretty soon his plan is a success. Somewhere during the summer break, Seb and Lewis get together (Mick helps Seb plan their first date and helps Lewis pick an outfit while calming him down because he's afraid to mess it up).

And poof right when Seb and Lewis get together, Mick realises his feelings the first time he sees them kiss. He's happy, of course he is, but god does he wishes to be able to kiss them too. Because Seb is Seb and he always had some sort of crush that turned into much more real feelings, and because while he wasn't expecting to fall for Lewis - or even become friends with him in the first place, but he did anyway. They've spent a lot of time together and Lewis took at heart to guide him and help him and just be there for him. So yeah, he's in love, but the two are dating now (because of him). When he talks about it to George (bc they're besties, you can't convince me it won't happen next year), George tells the whole team who is extremely confused because they assumed Mick was also somehow dating Seb and Lewis, right? Because everyone can tell the three of them just fit together you know? So, of course, they're not okay seeing Mick roaming aimlessly through the garage like a kicked puppy, and of course Seb and Lewis notice something is wrong but Mick grows distant and pushes them away (because he doesn’t want them to hate him etc) (you know the drill)

For the resolution of the plot, I honestly think that the team gets sick of it and just locks the three of them inside a room for a while so they can have a good talk and sort things out. That way, Mick can't run away and Seb and Lewis can reassure him very quickly that they feel the same <3

This ask is so adorable. I'm obsessed with those first moments people realize they've fallen in love. Me personally, I find it funny that my extremely serious fictional crushes, most of them weren't a love at first sight situation, it took time, yet I can pinpoint the exact moments I did lmao. ANYWAYS.

Olivia and Loki have known each other practically since birth, but very famously when they were children, Loki presented Olivia with a royal blue rose from the garden sheepishly before running off. We can presume he had fallen in love with her since around this time since he was bold enough for this gesture. I think she recognized this gesture for what it was even at her age and likes to tell people that's when she fell in love in return. But I bet it took her a little longer to fully realize what her feelings for Loki were. After that she probably noticed his actions towards her a little more closely and eventually fell in love herself. But it started with the rose, and to this day she still has it, enchanted to never wilt.

Keira and Norman's romance happened quickly but is incredibly strong. Their meet cute is famously goofy, Keira spilling her coffee all over her boss and future husband at the literal worst time. Keira had a horrible cold around this time so she didn't fully process this had happened and Norman had a big meeting right after, so I doubt if they had any love at first sight feelings that they recognized them at all. But I think Norman fell in love first, him offering her a coffee which doesn't seem like a normal move at all. During those few days she was out sick, I think he contemplated the event over and over coupled with what he knew about Keira and at some point knew that he had some sort of pull towards her. Keira probably developed her crush during this coffee date since Norman respected her mind and intellect more than most.

Now, we know that the first time Henry admitted to himself that he was in love with Emily was during the lockdown and they had that extended conversation about their pasts and ideals about the human race. I feel like he vaguely knew he liked her more than as a companion a little before that, but only realized it was love after he knew she felt similarly about the world and that she wasn't scared of what he'd done when most people would be. We also know that for years Emily was extremely defensive and protective of Henry, getting angry when he would get hurt by Papa or the guards. I think she herself only realized she was in love with Henry was a little while after their talk and now that they were alone in the lab, she knew that only Henry could make her feel any semblance of happiness. Of course, they only admit these feelings after Papa informs them that they're no longer test subjects.

...now, the elephant in the room once again comes when we get to Caius and Emily. Hilariously I have 100% concrete answers for both of them rather than a varyingly vague idea compared to the others. Caius knew he was in love basically the second Emily started talking since he had the benefit of feeling a mating bond he'd been waiting eons for forming (likely one Marcus saw). That, plus her brash attitude and her unique characteristics like her wings and already red eyes, dude was a goner the second she walked in. Emily of course needed to have a huge fight with Henry and had to fuck first before she realized she liked Caius, too. But right after they did the dirty, Emily saw how quickly and willingly Caius took care of her, tended to her, made her feel safe quicker than anybody else had ever had, and that's when she knew. She even said as much to his face.

i do want to give everybody a head's up that, yes, my angeal and @fairboy's zack are in a relationship. i know this is hella awkward and weird and confusing but i just wanted to state that it's something that me and kianye have talked extensively about. and i'll be explaining everything to the best of my ability via bullet points down below:

yes ... angeal is canonically 9 years older than zack. angeal was 25 whereas zack was 16 when angeal died. this is 100% canon. however! in my canon, angeal never died and actually got rescued by DEEPGROUND in hopes of him and genesis working alongside them. angeal said no and went AWOL until the beginning of ff7 and ff7r.

zack is canonically 23 at the end of crisis core and the beginning of ff7 and ff7r. this would make angeal about 32 years old. in fact, angeal has no clue that zack was still alive because they hadn't spoken since their fight 7 years prior. not only that but it's not like they start dating and fucking the second they reunite. that's 100% ooc for both of them.

our main verse takes place during the events of ff7r. which makes zack 23 and angeal 32. they're both consenting adults and are fully aware of everything. there's no forcing shit or anything. simple as that.

angeal is 100% against child grooming and p*dophilia. and he'll straight up tell you that he's against it. not only that but he'll actually kill a bastard or bitch who support either of the two without second thought. and let's not forget that zack is 100% blunt and already has a pretty damn good idea of who he is as a person and who he wants to become. he'd call angeal out on his bullshit despite worshipping the ground this man walks on. in fact, he actually has a couple of times in the game.

angeal actually ends up having a morality crisis because he knew zack as a teenager. but, again, they hadn't seen each other in 7 years. not only that but they've both grown quite a lot for better and worse due to their ptsd and how absolutely fucked up shinra is as both a person and company. and they don't start dating until a good while after reuniting. not only that but, again, zack is very blunt and m, "Hey. There's nothing wrong with this. I'm a consenting adult and if you were being weird about anything I'd tell you upfront regardless of my feelings for you."

kianye and i are both 100% against proshipping, child grooming, and p*dophilia. in fact, kianye has three children of her own and they mean the absolute world to her. i'm sorry but what fucking loving and adoring parent is going to be okay with the three of these?? my point exactly. not only that but i'm also dead set against all three because i've been a victim of child grooming. so no, i'm not going to write it and kianye isn't either. simple as that.

(These are some of the characters I ship, I'm not sure if anyone else does but here we go. Also I've actually drawn some of these guys for the first time so forgive me if they're a bit off, sorry for the late reply. 😂)

#1: Scar, Zira & Shere khan.

(Onix: Scar has been over Zira for a few years now since he got together with Khan, Khan really loves Scar but is becoming impatient with Zira's behavior, Zira also loves Scar but wants to destroy Khan to keep Scar to herself. It's complicated compared to other universes. 😅)

#2: Maleficent & Ursula.

(Onix: They're my fantasy moms, they do so many cute things together like doing each other's nails, having tea together, all the adorable old lady stuff! They've been together for years & in every conversation I have with one or the other they always mention their lover in the most dear & adorable ways. 😄)

#3: Medusa & McLeach.

(Onix: A city girl & an outdoorsman with a country couple kinda love, they bicker, they argue, & at the end of the day, the only people on their mind is each other. Believe it or not, they've actually been married since before I got here, their actually the only married couple in the house so far. 😊)

#4: Clayton & Cruella.

(Onix: They used to be a passionate couple, but their opposites outweighed their similarities, & it eventually tore them apart. Cruella was drawn more to the fur he could provide, while he genuinely yearned for a relationship. But I think he may also be gay, I don't know though. 😶)

#5: Ernesto & Slim.

(Onix: This is what it would be if Morticia Addams was a mexican musician & Gomez Addams was a western outlaw. I think by this description you can already guess the kind of relationship they have. Very passionate & romantic, this relationship definitely has a strong bond between these two. 😁)

#6: Jafar & Hook.

(Onix: Hook treats Jafar like a precious gem, constantly bestowing gifts & showering him with love. Jafar adores every minute of Hook's attention, admiring him for his kind heart & passionate affection. Hook will sometimes call Jafar his "seashell". 😆)

#7: Mor'du & Sabor.

(Onix: No one, not even myself thought these two were together, but Mor'du is attracted to power, & Sabor isn't one to back down from a fight, she's very independent & ready to stand her ground even if a bear were to charge at her. He likes her for it. 😌)

#8: Evil Queen & the Horseman.

(Onix: So, the Horseman fell in love with the Queen & has tried to slowly approach her about his feelings, but the Queen doesn't know whether she wants to accept his heart, or deny his advances. She never met someone who genuinely wanted to be with her so she's kinda conflicted. 😞)
