A bit of a controversial question

Who do you think Chloe was in love with more, Max or Rachel? And what do you like/dislike about Amberprice and Pricefield?

Boy, been so busy I left this sitting in my inbox, oops!

This is indeed controversial cuz at the end of the day we won't be completely sure of either of the ships' dynamics unless we are Chloe herself, so it's all up for people's interpretations. (*whispers* therefore I hope we can all be sensible here)

Personally I don't think love could be measured in a way, like you could be head over heels for someone you've met for only over a month, and we can't exactly say that is more or less than a long-term friendship. I think even Chloe might not be able to choose one. I view Pricefield as a deep friendship, as with Ashly Birch's take; And AmberPrice as more of a romantic dynamic, even though they weren't official girlfriends.

If we refer to the intensity and passion of Chloe's love, due to the state of her life she was in when she got closer to Rachel and the AmberPrice dynamic, I'd say it's definitely more than Pricefield. With regards to how long-lasting it is however, we see that Chloe never forgot about Max even after not getting a response from her for 5 years; this is the kind of enduring love that friendships (which I personally appreciate a lot for) usually have -- is more prominent in Pricefield. These are not mutually exclusive and so all the infighting is really unnecessary haha, why not AmberPriceField! They're both what Chloe needs in her life ^^

I got into Amberprice because of the amount of chemistry they have, the mutual attraction they have towards each other and how they always have each others' back despite being in darkness themselves -- they're each other's angel and it's definitely touching. Sharing clothes and stuff freely and crashing each others' places? Cute. Mentioning the other around other friends often? Hella cute! There are also multiple elements of surprise, like you'd think a rebel like Chloe wouldn't care for a perfect student like Rachel, who instead turned out to have a wild side, and Chloe turned out to be a softie on the inside. Stuff like these makes their chemistry much better than generic straight relationships I've seen in the media growing up. And the fact that Chloe still held the belief that Rachel wouldn't leave without her after all that she's gone through, definitely says something. Rachel was very genuine with leaving town together. Also true love on this end.

On the other side of the coin though, I really wished they had communicated better, the both of them. (It's a pity they were too young and without guidance to navigate all these) Yes Rachel I know you care about Chloe's feelings and wanna protect her, but being honest and open can go a long way. Chloe could've better regulated her emotions and how she comes across, such that she'd not come off as pushy or react as negatively e.g. give Rachel "the stinkeye"; if they worked on themselves and are actually allowed to improve, a healthier relationship would've blossomed. I also felt like there wasn't anything holding them back from them doing overboard with doing wild things together, like drugs and weed. They kinda spur each other on without the voice of reason or given the chance to mature after getting out of arcadia.

These AP shots come from Life is Strange: Rachel's story "the diner" ep, which gave me new insights on some of the nuances that could've been present in their dynamics. Pretty well-made given its constraints!

As always I can't say too much about Pricefield cuz I've not seen all their interactions, so I can only make individual comments. Take them with a pinch of salt!

On the good side Chloe's enduring love is always impressive, like remembering Max's birthday after all those years and immediately gifting her William's camera and taking her back. Moments where she emoted and expressed her appreciation with Max felt really genuine and I like how she's really supportive of Max, lifting the latter's confidence when Max was insecure, not to mention standing up for her in front of Nathan, David, Joyce etc. Very wholesome. On the other hand Chloe could've better nuance the manners of her speech, especially when she's angry -- Max is helping her so much after just reconnecting her for 5 years, it's not really an obligation and so I think she could've held back on some of her words at Max, which still comes down to emotional regulation, but I also understand that she was going through really tough times. I also didn't particularly like how she'd only change her wallpaper to Max after Max followed her wishes, even though that's not super abnormal for an 18 yo.

Max the sweetheart is honestly endearing when she doesn't hold back on positive words for Chloe, and when Chloe's off-balance she'd also be able to provide the voice of reason to put them on the right path. It's giving secure attachment style-- except the bad texter part. I just wish she'd stand up to Chloe a little more to avoid getting them into even more trouble, but that's just a personal take. My main issue with Max is her not writing to Chloe as much in those 5 years, but friends grow apart and it's only natural. As with DE, we'd have to take into the account of survivor's guilt and that nothing last forever, so if they ever separate, it is also understandable and inevitable in life.

The OG did a good job on developing Max and Chloe's bond, and it makes sense why so many ship Pricefield, which I'm not against :) hope my slightly rushed response has answered your question pal! And as always, thank you for asking <3

The wind whips through Billy’s hair as his skateboard zigzags down the street. A good thing it’s downhill all the way to the arcade. A hella slog back home though. 

After taking a sharp turn he automatically sticks one hand in the front pocket of his hoodie to make sure he still has his Snacker bar. Wouldn’t wanna lose that.

As the arcade comes into view, he immediately recognizes Jessie standing outside waiting for him, but it takes him a moment longer to identify whom it is he’s talking to. Billy lets out a low whistle when he realizes that it's Amy – Jessie’s longtime crush.

But considering the way Amy keeps looking over her shoulder like she’s searching for an escape route, it doesn't look like it’s going too well. Time for a distraction.

Kicking up his speed, Billy sets his sight on the curb. At the last moment he pops the board off the ground, turns it, and slides along the curve. Jumping off right next to Jessie and flipping the board up into his hands. He can’t help himself from grinning wildly. “What’s up?”

“Wicked trick,” Amy says, inspecting Billy and his skateboard appreciatively.

A little caught off guard, Jessie still rolls with it fairly well. “Ehem, yeah. I don't like showing off, you know,” he explains only a little hesitantly, trying to wave it away.

“Too bad. I think it would be fun to watch.” The hint of a teasing smile she bestows on Jessie is apparently enough for him to drown in those big, brown eyes of hers because he’s just standing there smiling stupidly while she holsters her bag as if to go.

Billy elbows Jessie out of his stupor. “You wanna hang together at the arcade?” he finally blurts out. “We could talk more about skating?”

Amy shrugs. “I don’t really know much about skateboarding,” she says noncommittally. “Except the music is really rad.”

“Oh!” Jessie’s eyes light up – Billy recognizes his geek mode activating. “I just put together this new tape,” Jessie exclaims excitedly. He slings off his backpack and starts rummaging through it. “It’s got all these sick beats I caught on this new radio station I discovered.” He brings up his walkman. “Maybe-- maybe we could go to the park and listen to it?”

To Billy’s astonishment it looks like Amy really is considering it, though Jessie’s hopeful smile begins to fade a little when her answer drags a little too long. 

“I can’t,” she finally says. She actually looks genuinely sorry. “I have band practice later and I need to get home and grab something to eat.”

"Oh." Jessie lets out a disappointed sigh.

Bummer. So close. Billy chews the inside of his lip, but decides that Jessie is worth it. “No way!” he exclaims, pointing at something behind Amy. “Do you see that?”

The moment Amy turns around to look, Billy quickly fishes out the Snacker bar from his pocket, holding it up for Jessie to see, before dropping it into Jessie’s open backpack and gesturing with his eyes towards Amy.

“What? I don’t see anything,” Amy says, turning back.

“Oh, I thought I saw a cat with a top hat. My bad.” Billy gives her his most innocent smile, which only earns him a totally weirded out look in return.

Jessie hurriedly bends down to search his bag once more. “Uhm. What if we could eat at the park? I’ve got a Snacker we could share.” Jessie holds up his prize.

“Oh. Okay!” Amy says smiling, clearly won over by the promise of a delicious snack. 

Jessie is grinning from ear to ear. “You don’t mind, do you Billy?” he asks.

“‘Cause not,” Billy assures him. Mates looks after each other.

Besides, he’s got more bars at home.

And now to answer your actual question lmao.

As far as a physical description of Kyle goes, I went into rather alarming detail in this post which explains how I generally imagine his appearance, and everything I said there absolutely applies to HCU Kyle.

When it comes to our dear Stanley, this man is probably the most conventionally attractive of the gang. Like, this mf walks around looking like a damn Disney prince. He’s got those dazzling blue eyes, effortlessly perfect “messy” hair look, an adorable dimpled smile, a subtle cleft chin that highlights his beautiful jawline, all that jazz. In terms of stature, he’s quite tall — definitely got a few good inches on Ky. He’s also muscular in a slightly more obvious way since he goes to the gym regularly (I force him to go every day to make sure he can keep up with the Style Carry™️ quota). Now I definitely don’t picture him to be like RIPPED BODYBUILDER SHOWOFF MUSCLES MAN by ANY means, but you’d look at him and definitely know he’s in hella good shape. He can really throw Kyle around with those strong arms and they both love that hehehe (oops I made this slightly NSFW pretend that didn’t happen kids).

In terms of how they dress, we know our man Stan loves band tees and in general t-shirts that show off his arms a lil because he knows Kyle loves it — which is the same reason he wears his damn gray sweatpants around the house all the time. He knows EXACTLY what he’s doing lmaooo. If it’s a little chilly out he’ll toss on a hoodie most likely. When he’s at work or out and about he’s still a pretty casual jeans guy, probably a plain nicer t-shirt or a simple long-sleeve is the move.

Kyle wears sweaters and khakis/nicer pants and shit like that pretty often, because he wants to legitimize himself at work and in general look presentable and respectable. He just FEELS better if he looks at least semi-put together. Around home, though, he loves putting on Stan’s sweatshirts that are way too big on him. He’s adorable in them obviously and he’s happy because they smell like Stan. :)

Oooo your post give me so much life!! What would the saiyans be like with a super nice and like weak human s/o who probably has pent up aggression type of headcanons. So they offer to train them a little to help with the stress and within months they make leaps and bounds. Like they are oddly really good at fighting and soon becomes really strong and a good sparring partner. It probably came as a shock because humans are generally weaker but they just push those limits after years of being weak and relying on others. (Can totally have Turles s/o go to the dark side. I'm a sucker for big assholes like him. S/o can go evil. As a treat. Aren't you tired of being nice? Don't you want to go apeshit?????)

Goku: Proud beyond all reason and belief. Look at his human go! He had full faith in you from the start. He's seen just how strong humans are, so he knew you could reach his level, but that doesn't mean he isn't vvv proud. Beware, he will always bug you to spar now. Not only are you him mate, your also his favorite sparring partner since he can just about let loose when he fights you.

Vegeta: Flabbergasted. Like, he knew you could do it but, like, already?? Kinda salty cause it took him so long to get to where he is and you just kinda, zipped through it. Hella proud of you though and will happily spar with you.

Raditz: Even more flabbergasted than Vegeta. Humans weren't supposed to get this strong and now he's getting his ass whooped by his mate. Happy your strong now but very salty you got stronger than him. Will be very eager to spar with you but you will have to call him out on some of his cheap tricks cause he's still not above playing dirty.

Bardock: Exceedingly proud of you. He honestly had his doubts that you could keep up at first but you went above and beyond his expectations. Will still try to give you pointers while your sparring even if your matched. Your caught up to him but he wants you to be better. If you can surpass him, he wants to be there to see it.

Gine: She's not much of a fighter but she's still a strong Saiyan, no doubt. She's very happy to be able to give you a way to vent frustrations, and it's a good vent for her too. She gets even happier when you reach her level because you can both continue to improve together. Doesn't spar too often though.

Turles: Gets a little too excited when you reach his level. Will 100% drag you to some random planet to destroy the inhabitants together. The most romantic thing for him is murdering innocent aliens just cause you guys can. If you're against his violent tendencies, he'll probably find some way to trick you into pressing that funky red button in whatever space ship he's in atm and oops! Looks like that wasn't the automatic hot chocolate button, that was the big lazer beam button and oh no! It was aimed at that planet over there! Well you've already destroyed one, so let's go destroy that one next!

hello my darlings!! I've really been wanting to introduce a few of my main characters to you all!! I was thinking of possibly doing headcanons/oneshots/drabbles in the future! (May be purely self-indulgent but we'll see) That being said, This is basically a very brief intro and info dump about each character. So let's get started!!

All characters and art belong to me!! Like I've said before I'm an artist and draw scenes and characters. I have a shit ton of art of all these guys that I'd love to share if anyone's ever interested!

Night

I've had her the longest, I made her several years ago. She's literally just a self-insert for EVERYTHING I enjoy sshejwka. But on another note! This is Night, she's a humanoid griffin hybrid (griffins being the mythological beast, half eagle half lion). She's very sweet and friendly. She's so mom-coded omg. Like she'll bake you little treats, makes sure your dressed for the weather, and reminds you of things you need to get done.

She has this locket around her neck that she keeps close to her. This is because it contains her "soul" or "spirit" inside of it. Every griffon has one, and it's what helps her to transform. Which btw shapeshifterrrr. Her true form being that of an actual griffin. She's a gentle giant though don't worry.

Tom

I know what you're thinking and no, he's not related to Bill Cipher. Tom is a 25-year-old art college student. He's a no-nonsense kind of guy, and very easily irritated. He's a fine arts major and does a lot of painting. He HATES his roommate (there's literally nothing wrong with him he's so nice and friendly, tom is just a dick). He's got a pet snake!! He's a hognose named Poncho! He's a total stonerrrrrrr, it's the only time he'll be chill honestly.

He and his roommate live in a city style apartment, on the first floor, complete with a basement. Unbeknownst to his roommate, Tom has a secret black market business selling organs to dealers. The basement is where he does all the harvesting, it strictly prohibited for anyone to go down there. It makes hella money though, which he uses to help pay his tuition (art college is expensive!)

Orphan btw. His mom is Night actually (an adoptive relationship) She loves and cares about him very much, the same goes for him. He usually acts more behaved if she's around.

Roman

Roman is, well he's a--thing?? creature?? I haven't decided in all honesty but he's dangerous. He travels all across the country, making sure to be well hidden. He's a serial killer oop. His signature weapon being a bowie knife. Bros got some major sadistic and animalistic tendencies. Eats his victims btw. He can't rly show his face in public, and the mans gotta eat right??

He likes to hunt. His victims are essentially "prey" to him, and he does so enjoy the thrill of a chase. He's got a looooooong tongue (as you can see) he's accidently bitten it once or twice with those sharp teeth of his. Has a tail as well, yk what espeons tail looks like? yea it's like that. His ears are sensitive btw he doesn't like them being touched.

Can never stay in one spot for too long, constantly on the move, he's got great stamina and can run for quite a long time.

Damien

WOOO. RUFFmEOW. BIG STRONG MAN LETS GO RAGHHH. ya so this is Damien. As you can tell I love him very much and I'm so very normal about him. He's an incubussss (sex demon basically). Literal definition of a Himbo. He's a big beefy guy who's wholesome and sweet, despite his line of work.

Super flirty, and also hypersexual. It's what he feeds off of, and how he regenerates and gets his magic. which btw, he can be summoned!

He's got a looot of body hair, happy trail for dayysss! Also has a bunch of peircings, snake bites on his face, and nipple peircings on his pecks. He's got numerous scars littered all over his body too. He's really sweet an attentive, as well as respectful! What more could you want in a man??

Alecto

BIG WOMAN. she's literally just my "villain" version of Night, however she's not a self-insert. I gave her, her own story and lore. She's the main antagonist in an animated series I'm creating. Her name is based of the Mythological woman "Alecto" Who was a fury of the underworld, she symbolizes rage and spreads it across the world.

She's very quick to anger. "hot-headed" (Pun-intended). The back of her hair is literally fire, and it can grow and change depending on her mood. Those gauntlets on her arms are strong AF and razor sharp, you do not want to get on her bad side. Ngl, she kinda feral at times, yk how Miguel O'Hara literally ran on all fours to chase after Miles Morales??? Yea she does that.

She's evil muehahshegsh, but also classy. She's also really tall!!! like about 8'6'' DAYUM. she'll crush you.

OMG HIIII TEHEHE TWIRLS HAIR. so. aiden infodump!!

legal name aiden december, he's a galliard who ended up joining the hart wardens. he's kind of scrawny and doesn't have all that much going for him except for his strangely powerful personality. got that deer in the headlights swag. he has been plagued by strange visions since birth so he was a very peculiar and off-putting child and his parents did NOT wanna put up with his ass. so he fell in with a bad crowd of equally peculiar and off-putting fellas and started dealing to be financially independent and get the fuck away from home but oops he started Abusing Substances. all that earned him a stay at juvie after which clay first contacted him. at that point he has been homeless/no contact with his parents for like 2 years and clay taunted him into confronting them during which his first change happened and his parents ended up splattered all over the house. RIP! very sad. either way he joined the beaver pack and all he got from that was going clean so like, good for him? but scraper and clay were awful and nasty to him as they are, and he kind of just took it because he believed he owed them. tapping into his spiritual side with black tarn was a big big big step for him, it meant so much to learn that he's not literally insane and that all of this is Real. he may not be a theurge but he has a very strong intuition and could tap into the umbra even before learning the proper rites tehehe.

so that's for pre-book backstory ig? personality-wise as i mentioned he is very much spiritual, he respects the spirits and believes in garou's mission of balancing the two realities they exist in. despite that he has a lot of faith in humanity and does remarkably well in social settings - he works at byzance as a barista :3 and just in general he is pretty extroverted. and he cares about everyone so so much... he is such a pack hypeman like he has a way with words and enough conviction behind them to get the gang GOING !! he is however rather timid and lowkey most of the time. he's hella patient and not quick to anger at all - he represses his rage a lot because he's a control freak and doesn't want a repeat of what happened during his first change. he's super perceptive and has a keen eye for details, especially stuff that other people might overlook, which makes him a great investigator - but also pisses off stormcat because he keeps asking her questions about the damnest things LMAOOOO. when he can't rely on his personality, he generally uses his wits to get out of bad situations. because his physical stats are shit. all he has going on there is his decent knife-throwing.

when it comes to relationships :333 he's close to his whole pack tbh but there's a lot of different dynamics happening so let me get into it a bit.

so starting off strong with elton he's the love of his life <3 aiden was SO suspicious of how much kindness elton was showing him at first, thinking that since he's a shadow lord he has some ulterior motives, but very quickly he realised that elton is just a big big nerdy softie LOL. they became quick friends during the month long lockdown daphne put them under, between investigating together, getting burritos and just hanging out reading and exchanging notes on each other's books at elton's flat. they have a very similiar dry humor and a shared interest in spirituality and occult, both garou and human, AND generally they employ similiar methods in dealing with various problems so that also created a lot of mutual understanding between them. aiden is way more considerate of humanity though, so they do balance each other in that regard. like idk aiden looks up to him so much and thinks he's so cool but also sweet <3 and he brought so much life into elton's life. and then they started kissing with tongue and calling each other mate romantically. like bros do. idk theres so much about them....

nin and aiden the breadwinners of the pack... i don't have as many elaborate thoughts here because aiden just loves nin so much they were also very quick friends, like they're fully understanding of each other's quirks and hang out a lot. probably play video games together because aiden is canonically a gamer. they hang out and maintain the woods a lot together it's a fun time :3

melodie genuinely intimidated aiden at first quite a lot despite the fact that he was the one to rescue her from a pumpkin cult, like she just has that aura about her. they quickly bonded because aiden was super inquisitive about the three families, harmonie and all the stuff the broad brook caern was up to. melodie thinks his cooking is terrible but she will still turn up unannounced at his cabin to steal it

podge and aiden are literally girl so confusing coded. there's a lot there. i think a lot of it comes from how podge is just very proactive in everything he does and like jumps into insane shenenigans no thoughts just full on ballistic and aiden is like uhm maybe we should actually consider our options here maybe we should try the stealthy route maybe we should consult the spirits first... like on a principle he agrees with podge on a LOT of things like hell yeah lets kill this fucking ceo however maybe lets not just bomb the whole building because there will be way too much collateral damage and also we do not need cops on our ass we gotta be SMART about it. podge disagrees. they really should work it out on a remix. because they do vibe they're like both more silly than serious :3 and they also care about humanity :3 and theyre roommates… ohmy god they were roommates. but they dont smooch bcuz aiden is down horrendously

In a simple way? Shocked yet happy,you thought of him on his birthday even though you do that very often. He sadly still had work so he went but not before you pampered him as much as you could which made him embarrassed yet loved. As he was at work you started your plan as you made sure to do all your chores early just to start celebrating his birthday. You knew he didn’t like big celebrations for him so it was just gonna be a cake big enough for a few family and friends,a whole lot of pampering,spoiling your husband,and surprising him!

How would you surprise your lovely husband? Easy! Getting his favorite sweet! You made sure to get body guards as he always wants you protected how sweet of him! You soon got back with his favorite sweet. He got home exhausted as you got towards him very excited which made him smile. “Happy birthday honey!” “Thank you my love” “oh I made you some cake for any friends and family you chose and I got you something~~!” He was intrigued and curious. You ram towards the kitchen then back with a bag. “Shut your eyes!” He did so reluctantly as he smiled and sighed.

Putting one in your mouth you kissed him which he didn’t mind until he realized it was his favorite candy. When you pulled away he saw your giddy and happy face. “Well~? Disney princess casual outfits from best to worst IMO

@lovestrucklyuniverse asked me what my favorite and least favorite Disney casual outfits were since I made a tier list on which fancy dresses! So once again I've made both a tier template, which you can try yourself HERE, and also did an actual list from favorite to least.

Moana

You guys may remember that I'm one of the people who were PISSED when Disney Dreamlight Valley changed the color scheme for the Moana 10 level friendship dress... and I am STILL MAD. I LOVE HER COLOR SCHEME. Honestly I love her ending outfit too, I forgot to add it to my Disney princess gowns tier (oops) but overall I've always had an affinity for Polynesian-Hawaiian fashion. I love all the details without it being overwhelming, and that necklace is gorgeous too.

Anna

I know that TECHNICALLY Anna's real "casual outfit" is actually just her fancy gown, but with sleeves and a cape - or at least it's very similar, so for me that meant I might as well do this dress instead. Could I have gone into Frozen 2? Sure, but I didn't want to do that because then I would have to consider ALL Anne and Elsa's outfits and that'd take forever. If I were gonna do that, I'd rather do a list of ONLY Frozen outfits or something xD Anyway, I think this dress is HELLA cute! A real nice spring dress, with some cute nature details at the bottom along with a "corset" and long sleeves. I like that while it's overall green, there are some pink accents and it has multiple shades of green so it doesn't feel too simple.

Rapunzel

I already mentioned this in the gown version of this tier list, but I am overall a fan of all of Rapunzel's outfits. I would have LOVED to see her green concept art dress though, holy crap. I hope there's a cosplayer out there who has made that dress cause I want to see it irl SO BAD xD Anyway, the dress we got is cute! Different shades of pink and purple, SMALL puff sleeves and loads of small details along with lace. I'm a lace girl, love lace, will never say no to lace. Probably.

Mulan

Now see THIS is a much better outfit for Mulan! Which is interesting cause it has a similar color scheme to her fancy hanfu, dark blue, dark red, grayish white and a pinkish red as well. So... why does this look WAY better to me??? I don't know. It just does. Perhaps I'll try to do a color swap of these two and see if I can make myself like Mulan's fancy hanfu more that way xD

Ariel

This dress is so stinking cute and the bigass bow in Ariel's hair is hilariously oversized, but in the best way xD I like that it's blue, but three different shades so it - like I've mentioned earlier with Anna's dress - isn't just one solid color. It is just a tiiiiiny bit too simple for my liking though, which is why it isn't higher on my list.

Belle

Not gonna lie, I heavily prefer Belle's peasant dress to her fancy, gold gown. It's simply color-wise, but the color switch around enough for it to not feel like one solid block of color. White shirt with poofy sleeves and a collar, blue dress with thick straps and a white petticoat along with a white apron. No cute little details or anything like that, but it doesn't feel that boring despite only being two colors. Also, her hairstyle is super cute.

Kida

I actually like like Kida's outfit just fine. It's nothing fantastic though and I think it's a little bit safe. Atlantians are, from what I know, a fictional group of people and culture, right? Why not experiment a bit more? Make her wear something that stands out! Instead it's just something I can imagine seeing a random white girl wear at the beach. It's not bad, but it's one of my many issues with the visuals of the Atlantis movie.

Jasmine

I like Jasmine's outfit fine. But it's all the same shade of blue and has NO details whatsoever. Yes, the "belt" of her pants is a lighter shade, but not by much. If it had a bit more decoration on it, I would like it a lot more. And I don't like those earrings. They've confused me since I was a child. How high up are her earlobes supposed to be exactly??? I don't know about you guys, but my earlobes are parallel to just below my cheek bones. On Jasmine, based on the earrings, it looks like her earlobes are parallel to the lower part of her eye which is just VERY high up, isn't it??? Either way, a fairly simply outfit that I think only really works cause Jasmine's own beauty carries it all.

Elsa

Eh... this dress should be right up my alley. I love cyan and teal shades, it has long sleeves, there's purple there, there's some cute details without them being overwhelming. On paper, I should love or at least like this dress and I just... don't. I really can't explain why, it just doesn't do anything for me. My only guess would be that it's tight. It looks limiting. Which is kinda the idea given what Elsa is going through at this point in the movie, so I like it for her, but personally it just doesn't work for me.

Merida

Again. Dark teal/cyan, but with Merida's dress I can easily explain why I dislike it: IT'S SO FUCKING BORING. It's one solid color all the way through and then it has those small frilly thingies on her wrists and upper body and I despise frills. Hate them. Reminds me of whipped cream and I hate whipped cream too xD And the frills being fucking beige doesn't help xD

Aurora

Boring peasant gown is boring, but I love that corset! But there's too much... beige, gray and just... I like color, okay? Or at least just not "neutral" colors like this. I might honestly have liked it more if it had dark, warm, earthy color instead. I am anti-beige xD Also never been a fan of this type of collar. It's giving school uniform and it makes me feel two types of ways and neither are what I should be feeling looking at a Disney movie xD

Tiana

This shade of yellow is one of the ONLY shades of yellow I actually like, otherwise I am just not a fan of yellow, usually. I do think it suits Tiana very well, but outside of that it's just very plain. I like the silhouette, sorta, but that's about it.

Pocahontas

Again, not a fan of neutral beige'ish colors. And what pisses me off is that if you google Native American fashion, there are SO MANY gorgeous examples. Once again, I get that animators might not want to put a bunch of details on an outfit of the main character, but goddammit, why does it have to be THIS boring??? Thankfully the necklace is there, but the dress on its own is just really boring.

Cinderella

Do I even have to explain this one? Disney has made plenty of cute "housemaid" outfits (Nanny from 101 Dalmatians, Mrs. Jenkins from Pocahontas 2) and this is just not one of them. But considering that one of the reasons Cinderella is wearing such a plain outfit is to make her ballgown that much more amazing, and that I find that to be one of the most boring Disney ballgowns, this outfit doesn't work for me.

Snow White

I mean, come on. It's supposed to be ugly and they succeeded. Can't really hate it for doing its job xD

SV PMD AU plot... 2!

Tumblr was yelling at me bc the first post was too long??? So all the finale and postgame stuff is here oops. Under the cut bc Long

Arven has long since been getting visions from his professor parent alongside Violeta (the protagonist), and has a mysterious connection to the 'raidon that's traveling with her. The professor is constantly asking them to come down to Area Zero, which makes all of them Hella Suspicious. Violeta assumes that her memory issues and the origin of these strange dungeons might likewise be connected to what's happening in Area Zero, so the three decide they're going to go down there along with Nemona (battle backup) and Penny (knows a lot about dungeon magic)

The dungeon is even freakier than regular mystery dungeons, with stairs often allowing glimpses into the in-between space. Unlike the tight corridors and caves of other places, Area Zero is wide open and you can see the sky no matter how deep you descend. Crystals grow out of the walls at unnatural angles, becoming more prominent the deeper they go, and most importantly all the pokemon there are strange, unnatural monsters that look like facsimiles of real Pokemon and attack on sight, but that look similar to the monsters in the book that Arven got from his professor parent

As they go deeper, they encounter rest areas / research stations that the professor used to use. Inside of each the professor will appear as a vision and urge them to activate the crystals inside, which allows them access to the deeper levels. Things start to get weirder and weirder (like encountering strange pokemon that look like flowers who only speak in a nonsense, cryptic language), and the team starts to doubt the professor's intentions. During this time, Arven spills his backstory to the rest of the team: how the professor is his parent but disappeared into the dungeons long ago, how he met and was cared for by Mabosstiff, but that Mabosstiff got hurt trying to return him to his parent in Area Zero, and his backstory with the 'raidon

The professor had always been fascinated by Area Zero-- it's the only naturally occurring mystery dungeon, after all. A pokemon named Heath tried to explore it long ago but lost a partner in the labyrinth and retreated, keeping their notes in a book that the professor was obsessed with. While in Area Zero, the professor found the 'raidon (though Arven admits he doesn't know more than that) and brought them home to be Arven's sibling. However, they had to stay in hiding because the professor was afraid of people's reactions. Eventually, 'raidon was spotted while playing with Arven so the professor took the 'raidon back to Area Zero to live there, leaving Arven behind. The 'raidon admits this is true and that their memory of Area Zero is extremely hazy. Penny suggests something traumatic might have happened, but the 'raidon seems hesitant to elaborate and the topic is dropped

They reach the pit of Area Zero, where they see the ruins of a lab, the professor standing just outside of it-- except it's not the professor. This new pokemon, who looks just like the strange monsters seen all around Area Zero, is very much Not Arven's parent even though it looks like them and speaks in their voice, and so the team all demands that the "professor" explain everything, which they are happy to do

This "professor" admits off the bat that they're not the real professor, they're a paradox pokemon created from the professor's memories. They explain that the crystals in Area Zero are responsible for its mystery dungeon like qualities and are capable of strange magic. The real professor, they said, created a time machine from the crystals after exploring Area Zero and not finding the supposed "paradox pokemon" described in the book. The first they ever brought in was a 'raidon (not the one traveling with Arven) that became their partner (this idea came from a reply by voidtravler). Together, they explored many dungeons and worked on the time machine, becoming great friends and drawing more paradox pokemon from another time

However, all this meddling with time and space caused the influence of the crystals to grow, turning surrounding caves into mystery dungeons as well. Anything underground or in a mountain-- aka where crystals could grow) slowly began to have destabilized reality. This affected the minds of the pokemon within them as well, slowly driving them feral if they were stuck there for too long. Unfortunately, the professor didn't realize this until it was too late

The professor ended up bringing another, younger 'raidon to the present, who they intended to raise alongside their son Arven. While doing that, the first 'raidon stayed in the dungeon to upkeep the time machine. However, things went wrong in the way Arven remembers it and the professor had to return to Area Zero to keep the 'raidon a secret. Unfortunately, all the time alone in close proximity to the time machine drove the first 'raidon feral, and upon seeing the second 'raidon their territoriality kicked in and they attacked. The professor tried to stop them, but was killed by their 'raidon partner. The little 'raidon freaked out, fleeing the scene and desperately trying to find Arven again. They flew to the beach near the lighthouse they had been living in with Arven, but crash landed and fell into a mystery dungeon. Being there alone affected the formation of memory, so they ended up relatively amnesiac and not knowing what happened in Area Zero other than that it was terrifying

Turns out the "time machine" was actually a wish-granting machine, and now the only wish around was the 'raidon's wish to bring their partner back. Their wish was so powerful it created an entirely new pokemon that contained all the late professor's memories-- not the same person, but a close copy almost like an AI. Being in contact with such strong feelings of regret and grief from the feral 'raidon powers the wish machine to insane levels, so the AI professor begs the team to stop it before it hurts any more people or corrupts reality any further

They enter, but the AI professor is suddenly overtaken: the dying wish of the professor is powering the time machine and turning the AI professor to its side via magic. The AI professor asks the team to defeat them, and they're able to and move to turn off the wish machine. At this point, the 'raidon reveals themselves, blind with anger and grief, and attacks immediately. The team is no match for them and are swiftly defeated, but the little 'raidon refuses to let their friends get hurt and stands up to fight. They also react to the crystals' energy, and powered by the strongest wish of all-- the wish to help their friends-- they get a burst of energy and engage in battle. It should be a clear defeat, but the power of friendship quite literally powers up the little 'raidon and they're able to pull through, snapping the first 'raidon out of their blind grief

The first 'raidon breaks down, saying they just wanted their partner back and can never forgive themselves or stop trying. The AI and team explain that even though it's hard, it's not healthy to dwell on it for this long or ok to hurt other people in the process. The AI professor says they need to shut down the wish machine, which will continue to run for as they're both holding onto the professor. The 'raidon says they lost the other thing tethering them to this time and that they're not truly from here, so they don't know what to do. The AI talks to them, and both decide they're going to go to wherever the wish machine brings them together, having no real connection to this world anymore. The team bids them farewell as they walk into the wish machine, hoping to find the professor wherever they happen to be. The wish machine finally deactivates, falling part and releasing its hold on Paldea. All the mystery dungeons return to regular caves, all the feral pokemon come back to their senses and are magically transported to the entrance of the dungeons they were wandering, and the paradox pokemon are freed from the madness of the time machine

Everyone returns to the guild, where they're greeted by their friends. Team Star is officially back in the guild, Nemona and Violeta + the 'raidon are the highest possible exploration rank, and Mabosstiff is pardoned from his earlier outlaw status and allowed to join a team with Arven. Everyone gets their happy ending :)

Homemade Beef-Jerky

Good morning my little pierogis

This is my favorite home-made jerky recipe

Use as much or as little beef as you want to make - I personally bought a beef brisket that was on sale for about $40 that yielded roughly 10 pounds of jerky.

Now - I am not perfect. My very first batch I made a couple mistakes, and I’ve made this recipe before. I should have trimmed more of the fat off, and I should have sliced it thinner.

Don’t get me wrong, I still ate the fuck out of them, but I just couldn’t preserve them or hang onto it longer term. Learned my lesson though 😊 keep in mind even people with experience can get it wrong too.

Recipe

1 cup of soy sauce

2 tablespoons minced ginger

2 garlic cloves

Salt - hella (I measure with love)

Juice from half a lime

Cracked black pepper - measure with love (1 tbsp is fine)

1 pound of sliced brisket

So here’s the beauty of beef jerky; It’s completely customizable. You can add things into your marinade, take them out, change the amounts, the world is your oyster.

After you trim down your preferred slice of meat (I’ve found that tougher cuts like brisket or chuck do well as jerky because they’re full of collagen and keep their shape well), pop it back into the freezer for about 30 minutes or so. The reason for this is that when you’re slicing it, you’ll be able to achieve a thinner more consistent cut because it will be on the solid side - something I forgot to do when I made this first batch. Oops.

Hang onto those fat trimmings by the way, mamas gonna show you all how to make some lovely tallow with that

You’ll put your sliced beef into a bag or bowl (ziploc or otherwise, as long as it’s water tight) and add your misc. seasonings (see above). Leave the salt out - the soy sauce has got that taken care of initially. Leave that to marinade for at-least 2 hours. Personally, I leave it over night so the acidity of the lime/soy sauce and the saltiness in the soy sauce can break down some of that elasticity that tougher cuts of meat generally have. Like I said though - the worlds your oyster. Yolo.

Once the meat is done marinading go ahead and pull it out, and dry any excess marinade off the slices of beef using a towel or wipe.

Once the beef slices are dry, sprinkle salt on either side of the slice. This isn’t necessarily required, but I’ve found it pulls more of the water/moisture out and can speed up the dehydrating process.

If you’re using a dehydrator go ahead and set your racks up, try to space them out as much as you can do ample air flow can circulate - if you’re using an oven, preferably you should have a rack sitting on a sheet pan so drippings if any can flow away from the meat.

As is with any meat product, it needs to be cooked to an adequate internal temperature to kill any bacteria or disease. You’ll want to start with your oven or dehydrator set to 165 degrees. Once the meat has reached 165° Fahrenheit, promptly turn the oven/dehydrator down to 140°.

After the heat has been turned out now you get to wait, and suffer while you smell delicious food you can’t eat yet. Sorry. The drying time can take anywhere from 8-12 hours, depending on the meats thickness, oven/dehydrator type, etc. honestly you’ll have to play it by ear a bit. Once it’s done though, you can keep it on your shelf for up to 3 months with silica packets or something similar to keep out moisture in an airtight container. I personally put it in jars and pressure cook them to sterilize and seal the jars, but that’s another convo for a different day.

If you keep it in the fridge - 1 to 2 weeks

If you keep it in your pantry - maybe 1 week

Freezing - 3 months + however long the storage method after thawing is.

Keep in mind it’s still meat - she can go bad

Champion - The idea of being called up in front of his Guard class and ordered to perform sexual acts to a superior in full view of everyone is something Champion quietly finds very, very sexy. Being objectified in front of others is something he would absolutely abhor in real life, but in the privacy of his own mind he finds it fun.

Sky - Breeding kink. Which is especially fun considering his "job" when he is the first to marry one of the Hyrulean princesses of this generation. Talk about living the dream. Ooo a Sky x all the princesses kink fic would be fun...

Warriors - Similar to Champion but less exhibitionist in nature, it is War's secret I-will-never-act-on-this fantasy to be restrained somehow in public and used by strangers. On his knees at a busy local pub, or chained up in a public toilet, or the classic oops-I-got-stuck-in-this-wall-somehow scenario, doesn't matter how or where. The idea of being suddenly trapped in an intimate scenario with a stranger just makes War's blood burn.

Legend - Like Time, Legend would simply rather die than admit to his kink, but he has a private cuck fantasy. Something about being tied up and forced to watch as his lover is ravished by another man (or woman) just drives Legend insane with need. Hyrule - Hyrule sure would love to be suspended in bondage. He'd be in control of the entire encounter, even though it feels like someone else is having their way with him, so it makes him feel comfortable. But it's not something he's interested enough in sex to actually do the work to put together.

Dark - Like Wild, he is also one to just act on all of his lewd fantasies. He's brought people home from the bar to use him, to handcuff him to the bed, hell he's even tried knife play more than once. If it's dangerous and painful and maybe a little bit stupid, Dark is so in.

OKAY so anyway that aside I also forgot to mention my husband and I will be starting to watch Star Trek Discovery.

Many of you are new here and will not know that Spock is the OG fave for me. TOS Spock specifically. When I self shipped in high school (I wrote so. much. fic. in my diary. loved that for me, helped me cope so good) it was Spock and Spock only. Everyone in my life knew I was obsessed with him. And you know what? I knew SO MUCH about TOS. Grown ass men tried to gatekeep my high school self and got fucking schooled by me. I knew everything there was to know about Vulcan.

I don't, anymore. It's been some time. But Spock still holds the SPECIALEST place in my heart even though I haven't talked about him much later. I did revamp our ship a few years ago - or rather, made a new version since I'm too attached to the original but wanted something more...mm...more like how I make my ships now, I guess? The original one was a straight isekai - due to time travel shenanigans I end up on the Enterprise and Spock and I fall in love (I knew it was him though like there was still Star Trek on TV and all that so fdksjahf). It was really helpful to me at the time and honestly it could fully happen with how TOS tends to be. Time travel is par for the course KJFHEWKFHW that one was "Love is Fascinating".

The new one is "Across Time and Space" and also came with me shipping with Kirk as well ("Solar Flare Love") and naturally the poly (cause how can you be a fan of TOS and not ship Spirk (I'm joking but like also it's truly iconic and important for popularizing slash fic)) which is "Interwoven Stars".

And that one I am QUITE proud of what I came up with. Beneath the cut.

In the new lore, Spock and I grow up together on Vulcan. We're really close. I'm not a Vulcan - I wasn't born there, and I've lived on a multitude of planets since they've moved for their jobs a lot. I'm a human. But we stay on Vulcan the longest of any of them. Spock and I, accidentally and unbeknownst to us, sort of form a childish and ill-formed Bond. A telepathic one, as Vulcans do. We don't realize this and no one else does either.

Eventually, I have to move away. It sucks. No one liked that.

Somewhere along the way, something goes super wrong during our travels. My parents die and I'm cryogenically frozen for several years. I'm eventually rescued and revived but...well my family is dead now. Oops.

I go into Starfleet, several years behind Spock.

Which puts us in this position that my first assignment is the Enterprise. And Spock is the Enterprise's Science Officer. And I am reporting directly to him.

We recognize each other!!! It's exciting.

Unfortunately. Spock has realized that we have this awkward incomplete bond. And once we've taken off he determines that, well, he's engaged, so, he's gotta break this off. And he does. And omg it fucking hurts. For both of us. Our minds have been in contact for so long. He's always been with me even if I didn't realize it. So I'm. Upset.

There's a shore leave right then (which is why he waited until then to do it) and I go to that and am Hella Depressed and LO AND BEHOLD Kirk and Bones are like ? We're adopting you as our friend now. You WILL have fun and that IS a threat.

So now I'm besties with the CAPTAIN and the doctor. And Bones and I bond real fucking fast I tell you fkjdhsakjf Kirk thinks I'm cute but like he's well aware of the power dynamic so he's not trying to make a move.

Anyway I don't tell either of them what happened.

Over time I think it just becomes apparent that Spock and I have feelings for each other/are awkward, and Bones gets on me about it like, "you and the green-blooded hobgoblin should just get together already" and I brush him off a bunch until I finally snap about how we can't cause he's engaged. He's very sympathetic after that.

Kirk and I are also somewhat awkwardly on and off trying out dating (with an open relationship) which is like. I like him!!! He likes me!!! But we also both like Spock and it's just...tense and awkward at times?

the whole Pon Farr thing will happen and then Spock is free to...to choose me fkjdhsakjfhdsak and we'll rebond and stuff. And Kirk is like, "congrats" all awkwardly thinking he's out of the picture now. But Spock and I will invite him into our relationship after some time of getting to know each other again!!!

anyway, a big recap of my victoria bc trip

got up at 6:50 am ish and then headed out at 7:20 took the train and bus to the ferry terminal and then headed to victoria yay, lined up for a a breakfast meal for the ~experience~ and that pretty much took up most of the time. Arrived and took the bus to the royal bc museum, almost missed my bus due to it being full but someone pointed to the huge line to go take the other bus, got lucky there.

The Royal BC Museum was cool, though there wasn't much to it cause there were no feature exhibit at that time and one part of the museum was under reno, but it was still fun nonetheless!! I didn't realize how dark it was so honestly I was a lil spooked at times esp cause I was alone haha. Since it was a very nice day I went down to the Fisherman's Wharf cause I wouldn't have time on saturday and i heard the weather wasn't gonna be good on sunday. Most of the shops were closed for the season LMAOO so there wasn't much to see, but thankfully there was 1 fish n chips shop open and i bought some yum yum, it was very filling. Walked back to downtown and went through the Miniature World museum and it was super cute!!! It was also a lil spoopy for parts of it cause there were portions of it where it was dark and there weren't many people going through it.

Headed to the airbnb around 5 ish, and then chilled for a bit. Was wanting to order dinner but the place I wanted to order to was too busy at that time to take in takeout orders so i had to schedule it at 8 sobs but thats okay cause i was still full from the fish n chips, so i just chilled and tried to nap. The dinner was kinda mid ngl, wish i got the lasagna but i was like "but i can get lasagna anywhere else" it was okay but still LOL. also splurged and bought a cheesecake as well, that was pretty good though. couldn't finish it so i saved half of it for tomorrow's dinner.

The next day was con day!! I was supposed to go to a brunch place but i slept in a little and then when i got there, the line was pretty long and i didnt want to wait so im like eh okay nvm ima just go back home and eat the breadsticks i didn't eat yesterday LOL as well as the creme brulee given by the airbnb host they're so nice. And then I made my way to the con and omg it was a lot of walking lol. Got in and hung around mainly in the artist alley!! I was supposed to go watch the cosplay contest but i lost track of time and missed it LMAO OOPS. I spent waaay more than I thought I would, but very happy with my purchases and wish i bought more haha but my backpack literally would have no room for it. I spent the remaining time at my friends table til like 6:30 and made a new friend that was tabling with her, she was super kind and fun

Got home and picked up dinner on the way, ordered a mixed kebab meal set and it was so good and the portion was huge, very worth it and very delicious. Spent the rest of the night eating and showering and watching youtube and packed a little bit before leaving tomorrow.

Woke up the next day, final day, it was damn pouring in the morning sadly, so I just stayed in the airbnb until 10:50 and then made my way to explore the Chinatown (which I found out is the second oldest Chinatown in North America???? damn). Went to the little Chinatown museum and saw some cool stuff and then walked around the area and the shops nearby. Went to Boardwalk Burgers and chilled until it was time to catch the bus to the ferry.

I arrived hella early cause if I didn't take the bus I took, i would have been late to my ferry;;; BUT MY FERRY GOT DELAYED. So I just spent a lot of time sitting at the waiting area playing my 3DS LOL Made some progress in AA5 again finally, i haven't played it in sooo long ( i really should finish it, as well as spirit of justice, and i still have the great chronicles to play;;) Got on the ferry and played some more AA5 and holy cow the line for the cafeteria was so long im glad i didn't decide to eat dinner there cause I was originally gonna but thank god i didnt. Napped a lil before arriving at the bay aaaand then went home :)

Overall, very nice trip!! Even though I was alone, I had a blast exploring and seeing things and got to take my time to explore shops and whatever I wanted. I had no budget planned going into this and I probably should have cause I spent... quite a lot, but oop.
