Hello friend! Thanks for the ask! I love talking about Akutagawa, he is my heart and soul, so this will be fun! I will take the chance to also thank you about your interaction with my posts, it makes my day ^^

Now, let's get into it!

Shin Soukoku (Akutagawa/Atsushi) - This is everything to me. Absolutely everything. They're in love. They're soulmates. They were created by the same ring of laughter. An angel lost its wings and they both fell in Yokohama, waiting to be reunited. Sskk is the definition of "whatever souls are made of, his and mine were the same." I cannot accurately describe how happy they make me. I can't even give a coherent and objective reasoning as to why they're the best ship ever, they just are. "Just the two of us? / Do we need any more?" WHY ARE YOU RECITING YOUR WEDDING VOWS NOW, GOD–! Anyways. 1 billion/10.

Chuuaku (Chuuya/Akutagawa) - Similarly to my other post, I don't get people who have a problem with this ship. It's cute, it's beautiful, it makes me happy. I talked to my friend about this issue once; like, why is multishipping not a thing in this fandom?? Maybe I want to jump around dynamics??? Can skk give me friends to lovers?? No?? Great, Kunizai it is. Like, why can't we let people ship other shit than skk and sskk?? Anyways, Chuuya and Akutagawa care for each other, there is mutual respect, they would be a great comfort to one another. I say valid, 10/10 ship.

AkuHigu (Akutagawa/Higuchi) - I love, love, love this ship. Love them. They're so cute?? Like, I'm a die-hard sskk fan until I die, but I would LOVE to see more of this ship. The scene where Higuchi goes to save him?? Where Akutagawa gains consciousness and the first thing he does, before he can properly gather his senses, is apologize to Higuchi?? Also, the whole episode where she's stalking Gin because she thinks she's dating Akutagawa?? Their interactions in Wan?? I actually fucking love them. Every time the focus is on them, I feel like I'm watching a shoujo anime. Higuchi makes me think that Akutagawa would be a romantic. I need more of theeeeeem. Literally they're born to shoujo and forced to shounen. 10/10.

Dazaku (Dazai/Akutagawa) - Since I expressed my frustration with the fandom regarding this in the Dazai ships post, I will focus on my opinions about this ship. Honestly, it makes me feel kinda awkward? When I think of them in a romantic manner? Feels just a little bit like missing a step. However, it's an interpretation I would be open to if I could be convinced that Dazai actually, you know, likes Akutagawa? Like, you know that one scene in Lady Bird that's like "I wish you liked me / You know I love you / But do you like me?" That's how I feel the dynamic is between these two. Yes, Dazai is hoping Atsushi will be good for Akutagawa, and yes, he is happy Akutagawa stopped killing, and God knows what his plans are for the future – but do you like me? Valid ship context wise, neutral territory, I just need a little more from Dazai before I can make a final ruling.

TaniAku (Tanizaki/Akutagawa) - LISTEN GUYS. LISTEN. I BLAME BEAST FOR THIS, BUT THESE TWO ARE SO, SO, SO IMPORTANT TO MEEEE. I unironically love them. I don't care that Beast is the only canon I have to work with for this ship; it's so good. Like, the way Beast Tanizaki understood Akutagawa?? The way he supported his revenge mission from the get go?? The way he stormed the Mafia HQs and fucking held an assassin hostage just so he could help Akutagawa?? Ride or die. That bitch. I would actually die if I saw them interact in canon. Like, that's your bestie in another life. 100/10. I need them. It is a need.

TachiAku (Tachihara/Akutagawa) - I have no serious thoughts about this, to be honest. I think it would be lowkey hilarious. I haven't had nearly enough interactions between them for me to get attached to this ship in any way. Plus, now that we know more about Tachihara's...real self, I would love to see more of these two! I am going to allow this ship, and hope to see these two at least fight by each other's side in the future!

basically the star trek crew are exploring a new area of space and they run into this Giant Cube that keeps blocking their path and is emitting harmful radiation. so they destroy it. and then this ship shows up like "you destroyed our warning buoy so clearly you guys mean harm. we're gonna kill you now. you have ten minutes to make preparations for your death"

at one point jim asks spock for advice, and he gives it, and jim is like nah im not gonna do that. and spock says "has it occured to you that there is a certain... inefficiency in questioning me on things you've already made up your mind about?" and jim goes "it gives me emotional security." AND THEN SPOCK LOOKS AT HIM LIKE THIS

anyway later on they discover that they are outgunned by this ship. and jim once again goes to spock for advice. and spock says "in chess, when one is outmatched, the game is over. checkmate." and jim says "That's it? That's all you've got for me?" and spock hangs his head and goes "i'm so-" then stops. straightens up. and says "i regret that i cannot find any logical alternative."

anyway this exchange plus a later one with bones about bluffing sparks an idea in jims head. and hes like "no.. not chess.. poker!" and he calls up the alien and hes like "this ship contains a device made of corbomite* that when the ship is attacked, will return a blast of equal force against the attacker. if you kill us we're taking you out too. we grow tired of your games." and then hangs up on him. ITS SO FUCKING ICONIC. AND EVERYONE IS LIKE JIM WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING. BUT THE ALIEN ASKS FOR PROOF OF THE DEVICE. AND JIM IS LIKE "nope. you're not getting any proof. make up your mind." and HANGS UP AGAIN.

how D16 spent almost his WHOLE life adorating and praying for a so-called-important figure in his planet just to end up discovering it was a fake. A liar. A traitor.

the pain in his face after realizing his idol Megatronus Prime was murdered by another Prime (a fake one at that) was insane bro i could not recover from that. D16 spent his whole life thinking Sentinel was a good guy,, who tried everything to make his planet good. only to find out on the surface,, along his friends that all of Sentinel's words and actions were an act. it's understandable,, the feeling of betrayal is very common in these cases. kinda like religion,, where the ones praying to their so-called-important figure realize their 'idol' or 'saviour' is all a lie

in one scene you could almost see small tears on his eyes,, or maybe it'z just me bc i felt like D16 was about to cry when he was talking about what he would do to sentinel prime (aka killing him),, like if he was almost crying from pure anger and rage. which i get it,, i cried by those feelings too,, and i relate to that a lot

D16's character was so well done in this movie,, they knew what they were doing while writing the script and animating the scenes. not to mention Bryan Tyree Henry did an excelent job at voice acting!!

I Feel You Linger In The Air - Head & Shoulders above (almost) every single piece of queer media i've ever watched. Khun Yai and Jom will be forever icons. That drunk poem confession will NEVER be topped. Also LESBIANS AHHHHHH also the way the show explored intimacy AHHH just end meeee

2. Moonlight Chicken - Aof strikes again. Gave me Uncle Jim, Heart, Li Ming and my baby boy Gaipa- the music, the cinematography, the writing, the found fckin family - i will recommend it to EVERY one on the planet if i could.

3. Be My Favourite- I did not expect to enjoy this show as much as i did. I loved what they were tryna say. I LOVED the queer undertones in EVERYTHING. if not for the asexual erasure and Not being an absolute asshole this would have been quite the perfect show. And man is Gawin so darn sculpted perfection, LOOK AT THAT FACE, how to not admire!? Also Pearmai my beloved. AND THAT POEM in episode 11 ARGHHH

4. Bed Friend - I know this was a polarizing series in a lot of ways and I agree to some of the complaints raised BUTTTTTT NET MY FRENZ NET! How am i supposed to not melt into a complete puddle watching King pretend to not be absolutely in love with Uea, and treating him like the babygirl he is, when he looks like THAT. I'm but a mere mortal.

5. La Pluie - I kinda liked the show and disliked it in equal amounts. Saengtai annoyed me quite a LOT towards the end BUT his brother Sangtien - Suar Kritsanaphong had me in the palm of his hand. Him and his kiss with Lomfon is etched firmly in my brain. It HAD to be on this list.

6. Only Friends - Gawd. The Promise. The Promise of it all. Thats what maddens me THE MOST. There was just SO MUCH that they could have done. Even if they stuck with a lot of their similar choices i would have still put it higher up on the list if they hadn't undone all the good work they did in the final episode. I couldnt even bring myself to rewatch anything from this one cos of how disappointingly it ended. That being said - FirstKhao KILLED it as usual, i CANNOT wait for their next one, BOSTON deserved better and my MVP- Mark Pakin AHHH i NEED him on EVERY SHOW EVER but also in ways concerning to me GAWD WHAT A TALENT AND WHAT A FACE.

7. Laws of Attraction - Charn you guys. Charn and his utterly deranged expressions and his even more deranged ex. And ofc everything else the show offered. The drama. The mystery. The family. The romance. THE LESBIANS!!!!? Few things not to love. Especially the finale with all the domestic husbanding going on. Precious af.

8. Hidden Agenda - Far too much nonsensical plotlessness going on here for this to claim this position BUT i'm just a girl watching Joong swoon over his man and losing it in the corridor and proceeding to do that myself cos man he's so damn good in these kinda scenes. I think he'd be good in more serious ones too but I would much prefer it if it was with somebody who could offer more than Dunk (no shade he very cute himself)

Cooking Crush - i went into this with minimal expectations, the trailer didnt do much for me BUT oh my gawd i had SO MUCH FUN with each episode, i laughed SO much and i am very much looking forward to the rest of it

Cherry Magic - TayNew back again together. Karan and his gorgeous existence. Loved the og. The trope where one believes they are hard to love & someone who loves them like it’s breathing- its literally made for this show and i am SUPER excited where it goes. hi i just reminded that lonnie exists--- what ended up being his deal in TFS? I tried searching your blog but everything that came up was theories from before the play came out.

HELLLOOO!!! So, in TFS, Lonnie is a 25 year old deadbeat with his 17 year old girlfriend, Joyce.

He’s not super present in TFS, but he’s played/written in a weirdly comedic way/as comedic relief when he is present- its quite a stark contrast to how they present Lonnie in the show, and it’s definitely got parody/it’s not real/exaggerated versions of people vibes. It’s definitely intentional/not just bad characterization, it’s like how Ted is suddenly a blonde himbo that plays guitar in his underwear in TFS- it’s intentional, but it doesnt align with the in-show versions of the characters. It’s like how Victor is suddenly a blonde stumbling drunk with a temper and REALLY exaggerated PTSD symptoms- he’s not like the young victor we see in-show/read about in the papers in-show and it’s intentional.

At one point, Lonnie is accidentally interrogated by Jim because Jim thought he was Victor (it was dark & jim put a bag over lonnies head so he couldnt see his face) and also thought that Victor was the person killing the animals in Hawkins (hence why he was interrogating him), and that’s when Lonnie admits to stealing the baby jesus from mr newby’s nativity set & writing “blow me” on it because he thought it would be funny. Lonnie is scared of jim during this/a stark contrast to lonnie’s whole tough guy vibe in-show. Like hes pleading with jim/high pitched exaggerated dramatics etc etc

We later see Lonnie handcuffed at the police station (for unknown reasons) and then he sort of yells at joyce when shes walking out but in a pathetic “babe dont leave meeee” way.

And in the beginning of the play, Lonnie criticizes Joyce for wanting to get a drama school scholarship and leave Hawkins/he clearly doesnt want her to leabe/doesnt care about what she wants. He also bitches about her shoes being on his bed (which is just a shitty mattress on the floor).

TLDR: TFS lonnie is a pathetic loser that’s played for comic relief & doesnt have a ton of scenes & seems to be some sort of weird parody/mockery of his actual character (much like many of the other TFS characters are)

THIS ONE IS ACTUALLY REAL AND SAD. instead of an over throwing screamer this one turncoated to the good guys. and hes so conflicted and sad and whatever. wet cat. this arm megs actually beat screamer in a duel and was like. well maybe one day youll get good enough to beat me (chewing glass). AND for the final arc of. the bots and cons have to work together. megs too driven by his own shit to see the.. Since arei was alive in the evening last night (ace does claim 7:30, but i do agree with david that ace might have just said that to back up his point rather than it being true) the death happened the prior night or early that morning. it puts into the question the note, calling for 7:30 but it could be 7:30 am before the motive reveal. however, unless it was something like a trap, such a time is so tight i find it hard to believe. maybe i'll do a post later doing a fully theory as i lose my mind during this hiatus (praying for it be under 6 months)

Oh jeez. Definitely Jayreth, this background-side-character Knight's Apprentice in Heralds of Rhimn. He got maybe one or two scenes in Winter Herald, and I wasn't sure where I was going to take him in Ember Warrior, but it wasn't here!

Ostensibly, Atevia has made sure that he got shuttled into a quiet conflict-free zone that will keep him safe.

Rage seared in Crislie’s blood as she understood what she was hearing. Not a conversation, but the ramblings of a lone deserter, one who had left Gadlin undefended as soon as his clay feet could carry him away. And even though she was one of the invaders — how dare him! How dare he abandon them!

She let out a soft warning growl as she crept out of the underbrush, forcing him to face what he’d fled. Daughi and Lind growled with her.

The knight’s eyes widened as he turned around. His hand went to his spear, but not nearly as fast as she went for his throat, the soft and unprotected gap just between his chin and the collar of his chestplate. It was instinct now. When she came back to herself again, the knight laid face-down in the river. Crimson bled downstream. Tadpoles and minnow shoals parted around the bloody current, hovering in a state of curiosity they would soon forget.

Crislie’s anger drifted with them.

She huffed and shook water off of her muzzle. “Do you think I knew him?” she croaked past her bared teeth.

Gildhe kneeled beside the body, rifling through his belt pouches. “Doubt it,” they whispered. “This guy’s got House Havinia’s crest on his stuff. He’s gotta be from Talimour.” “Still. It could’ve been somebody I knew.”

The irony here is that Crislie does not know this one-off goon, but we as the audience will recognize the last name Havinia and the "Tesie" he's talking about (Photesie, another apprentice who wants to marry him) and realize that Crislie has killed a sympathetic named character.

Another irony; this is Crislie's hometown that she's being made to invade, but that's a tangent for another time.

So yeah! Jayreth! Haha!
