Flirting With Pranks

Because I wanted these two to laugh and be happy together

"Gale!" 

"Astarion!"

The pale elf doubled over in his bout of hysterical laughter. He dropped his book on the ground in favor of holding his abdomen, which was tingling as his nerves were toyed with. He tried to fight the bubbling laughter before giving in to the urge - it was too strong. The tingling was turning into invisible yet solid touches, pinching up his hips and sides. 

Astarion collapsed to his knees. "Whahat the FUCK Gahahale?! It tihihickles!"

"It does? Good! It's supposed to."

Astarion slapped a hand over his ear as some invisible soft instrument flicked over it. "Whyhyhy?!"

"I wanted to hear you laugh, darling. And I wanted it to be fun for you." He put his hands on his hips with a satisfied grin. He had never seen Astarion so out of control - the elf had flopped face-first to the ground and was writhing. "It lasts about as long as that laughing curse you keep casting on us in camp."

"Yohou're awful!" Astarion squealed as the tickling moved into his armpits, and his legs kicked out in wheels. 

"I can't help but notice you aren't begging for it to stop, darling. Where does it tickle most? I want to know so I can focus the magic there."

Astarion was not about to tell Gale the magic all seemed to jump around his worst spots, making him spasm and twist in his giggle bouts. He couldn't, and didn't dare, imagine what it would be like for all of his worst spots to be tickled at once. His arms went up and down as his hands tried to soothe his tingling skin. "Fuhuck you!"

"More experimentation it is. I don't mind! You had me cackling like a damn loon yesterday, you know? Wyll and Karlach got the best cuts of meat for dinner and I got bone broth. Clear. Bone. Broth."

"I'm sohohorry!"

"Well yeah, you are now."

"Aha! Heh. Heheh…" The tickling slowed and disappeared, leaving Astarion panting hard on the ground. He was not left alone for long though - Gale sat himself down on the other's thighs and wriggled his fingers into the exposed stomach lying before him. "GAHAHALE!"

"I had no idea you were actually ticklish dear, I simply must try this for myself."

"Oho no you dohohon't!" A struggle ensued, or started to, because Astarion was still a panting mess from the magic tickle attack. He tried to grab Gale's hands as they snaked up his sides and to that bottom rib, but he was too clumsy and panicked to stop the wizard from making him cackle. He squeezed his eyes shut and caved as the other played his ribs like some instrument. "Nohohoho! Gale, haha, GAHALE, stahp! NAHAT THERE! THAT! HAHA! FAHACK! Yes, yehehes, gohoho bahahack dohown! Get awahay FROM OHAHAHA! THEHERE!"

Pinches turned into loops and swipes, then stopped, and Astarion's cackling slowed to gasping giggles. He managed to open his eyes and give Gale a pleading look. 

"Your real laugh is adorable, you know that?" He said fondly. 

"Yohou're an insufferable asshole."

"Are you going to stop casting that laughing spell on us around camp now that I perfected one of my own? Because I can tickle you all day long, darling."

"I…" His smile faltered as he thought, and it returned as a playful and practiced smirk. "As awful as that was, darling, I think it is awfully strange that you created such a playful spell just for me. That wasn't designed to be a one time use, was it? I mean, here you are, on top of me-"

"Oh my gods Astarion."

"And you know? I rather like the attention. And I think you want to make me laugh. Keep making your teasing, playful spells for me Gale, it makes me feel special. Now get off of me so I can exact my revenge when you least expect it."

"It makes you feel- oh you do want another round is what it is? Projecting your feelings onto me, like you aren't the one making us laugh first, I see right through you," His hands began to glow, but the vampire had time to recover. Astarion twisted and threw Gale off, and they wrestled for control. "I'm not giving in!…NO!" Giddy giggles filled the air as they jabbed at each other, and Gale found himself weakening to protect his sensitive stomach. "I'll blow you up you ass, you get that finger OUT of my AHA! SHIRT! "

"Found the tickle button," Astarion had gained the upper hand, literally, and kept wiggling his finger in Gale's navel. The wizard's hands fell to protect himself. "Now we…are…on…the saaaame page. I may be ticklish, but you seem to be far worse off than I. Is that why you felt the need to cheat with magic?"

Gale was giggling too hard to answer. The tables had turned and he was drained from his earlier magic use.

"This is fun dear, and now that I know you're enjoying yourself here too," Astarion paused to admire the man below him. He ran his hands over Gale's stomach to soothe his nerves. "Well," he chuckled. "I prefer being the one to make you laugh. Remember that next time you start a fight I will always finish." He collapsed beside Gale on the ground. They caught their breath together, and Astarion broke the silence once they were quiet again. "So can you teach me that spell? I want to see if Lae'Zel is-"

"No."

"But-!"

"I hate wasting a revival scroll, dear. If that power were in your hands this whole camp would either be at your mercy or I would have to keep bringing you back after they kill you."

"What if I only use it on you?"

"Even worse. If you want to tickle me you have to be brave about it."

"A challenge…I accept. Now cuddle me, if the group isn't back by sundown we can keep playing."

"Gladly, darling."

A/N: A bit of a different style with this one. Luz discovers a tickle glyph by accident, she details the event in her notes.

“Glyph Combination Attempt #73”

Description: 

Effect: causes a tingling, spark-like sensation of tickling, causing the person in range to laugh uncontrollably for the duration of the effect

Appearance: three rings of concentric circles, light glyph on the right of the outer ring as well as the bottom of the inner ring, plant along the bottom of the middle ring with fire on the top, two fire glyphs on either side of the outer ring light glyph

Possible uses:

Incapacitate the enemy with laughter!

Fighting without damage or causing pain!

Distraction!

Fun prank!

…Amity?

Warnings!!!:

Do not accidentally stand too close when activated!

Be careful how big the glyph is drawn (size and intensity seem to influence how long the effects last)

Experience:

First-Hand Account #1:

I decided to reserve Wednesday afternoon in my schedule to test out new glyph combinations and see what other types of useful combinations we could come up with to help in the fight against Belos. With the Day of Unity coming up, we could use any extra tricks up our sleeves we could get. 

I stumbled upon an interesting combination today by accident, when I tried to activate this glyph (see attached sketch on the next page) it had an instantaneous effect. I couldn’t believe it… it, well, it tickled!!!! SO much - OMG! Lucky for me, it was only a minute or two before it wore off. It feel like a hundred fingers and tingly shocks all over all my ticklish spots! I just crumpled to the ground. (I’m glad nobody else was around to see that!) I’ll have to test it out further (ALONE! Or maybe on someone else?) and see what its capabilities are.

First-Hand Account #2:

It’s been two days since I accidentally hit myself with the ‘tickle glyph’. I have carefully drawn up another and decided to enlist Eda to help me test it today.

It went hilariously spectacular having Eda try the glyph! She crumpled onto the couch cackling and even tried pulling off her own feet — that didn’t seem to help her though. This one was drawn on a bigger piece of paper and I think it went on a little longer than when I first stumbled on the glyph, but it was a little hard for me to tell how long it was exactly. Eda said she’s going to feed me to the Wumplerampus but I think she’s just bluffing. It was good to see her laugh. I do think, in retrospect now, that perhaps it was not my best idea to teach her this glyph combination…

I’ve decided to create a small stockpile for myself in order to prepare for the worst. And, also, maybe to test them out a bit more with Amity and with the rest of our friends.

Also Snape didn't actually take the points away cause he couldn't bring himself to tell Dumbledore why 😏

There’s nothing trans about franky… Odo has not said anyone on the ship is gay.

LMAO I have a couple things to say to this

1. They’re actually all gay, Oda told me personally

2. I’d like to invite you to Google what headcanon means

3. Oda hasn’t said they’re straight either (except to me, because he told me personally they’re all gay). One piece has SO many canonically LGBT characters. They’re not explicitly labeled as such because Japan has even stricter rules surrounding that than the US. It’s all about the coding and subtext, if you can’t pick up on it that’s… kind of on you and your own reading comprehension. You probably read The Great Gatsby and thought Nick Carraway was straight.

Not a familiar constellation or star in sight. Frog stared at the strange spattering of stars and couldn't feel a whisper of the connection her years of training as an Astrologian had gifted her.

Then she focussed and spoke the familiar words of spells that called out to the patrons of the stars who weren't present, whose associated stars were not even in the sky. And the warmth of the celestial blessing flooded her; the gaze she felt as she drew intercession down to heal answered in the very sigils of gods who weren't even born yet.

"Maybe it's the distant connection through the Crystal Tower," she mused, still dissatisfied and confused, but with no clue where to look next.

(A malm away in  Anagnorisis, Charmion shivered and blinked, and looked around at her coworkers, seeing they'd startled too. "Did you just feel Azem channel a tiny bit of aether from you too? I wonder what that was for! Maybe the familiar is still here and she needed some more?"

They shrugged about it as Weird Azem Things, the least of which had happened that afternoon, and went back to their work)

Frog still trying to understand how Astrologian worked out in Elpis before Myths of the Realm answered some very pressing questions and took the mystic woo out of AST's prayer-based spells.

"Job" for FFXIV Vanilla Gpose Challenge... My favourite thing you can do in just vanilla gpose is playing with all the spells and abilities, watching them frame by frame and appreciating details that whoosh by in combat.

.... yeah that's her current AST glam; if we're not using mods I'm not buying a half dozen pots of the expensive dark blue dye to recreate her levelling gear, we're errrrrrrrrr doing a meta commentary on the limitations of vanilla gpose for storytelling. Or time is fake in Elpis. :P

“Hold still.”

“I a-aahham!”

“No, you’re not. I told you already; stop squirming so much!” Mitsuya sounded exasperated, but really he was amused. “Chifuyu, it’s gonna look crooked if you keep wiggling!”

“I’m trying! Really, I am!” Chifuyu straightened his back once more, shaking out his arms and bracing. “Go for it.”

“Tch.” The gray haired teen rolled his eyes as he reached out, wrapping the measuring tape around Chifuyu’s waist. The second it touched his skin, the blonde squeaked and doubled over, grabbing at it. “Chifuyu!”

“Iihih’m sohohory, I’m sohohorry- it tihiihickles” He wheezed out, cheeks pink and eyes wet with mirthful tears. “I’m not used to it!”

“We’re never gonna get your measurements if you don’t adjust, my guy.” Laughing, Mitsuya turned to his work table, poking through the drawer for a different measuring tape. “Why does it tickle anyway? It’s just plastic.”

“It’s cold.” Chifuyu shivered as he rubbed at his skin, calming down some. “It’s like when you’re at the doctors and they press that thingamabob against your chest.”

“Stethoscope?” Mitsuya looked back at him.

“Gesundheit.” Chifuyu smiled. The older boy blinked owlishly at him.

“Right- this one’s warmer. Let’s try this again.” Mitsuya came around the back, squeezing the tape in his hands along the way. “Ready?”

“Ready!” Chifuyu stretched his arms out. The tape still tickled some, but he was able to keep it together. After a few minutes, his measurements were taken. “Are we done?”

“Not yet. Just one more thing..”

“What-Ah!” Chifuyu all but jerked when Mitsuya grabbed his sides, pressing into the soft skin with rapid fingers. “Gehahahahahhahaha! Mihihihitsuya, wahahhahait! Whahahhait hahahahng ohhooohohohn!”

“Wow, you’re really ticklish here, aren’t you?” The older boy sounded deeply amused, his fingers clawing their way towards the center of his stomach. “What about here? Is this bad too?”

“Nohohoho, dohoho-DOOHOHOHN’T!” A scream ripped out of Chifuyu’s mouth upon contact, nearly sending him to the ground if it weren’t for Mitsuya’s quick reflexes. “Mihiihihitsuhuhuhuya!”

“Heh, you’re cute. This is my payment for your jacket; tickles!” Mitsuya laughed with him, keeping him trapped with ease. “And I expect to be paid in full.”

This boy is definitely a Lee

I would say he’s a Lee-leaning switch but prefers to be on the receiving side of things bc he absolutely LOVES being tickled

The little winter sprite would never admit it though

Oho yeah he’s definitely touch starved

300 years of isolation from people can really do a number one someone

Especially if you’re 14- like you JUST became a teenager

And plus the fact that no one can see nor hear him OR make physical contact with him???

Always tries to cover it up when being wrecked but obviously it never works

Has a hate-love relationship with North’s beard

It is SO freaking evil- North always gives Jack raspberries on his tummy but the beard just makes it tickle more and it makes Jack absolutely BALLISTIC

Will try and hide in his hoodie when he’s blushing a lot

Like he’ll pull up his hoodie and cover his face with his arms as he just giggles his heart out

Toothiana absolutely melts when he does it and it just makes her want to tease Jack even more

Believe it or not- he can say the T-word!

It flusters him to no end when he does but at least he can say it, right?

Definitely uses those nicknames as a tease when tickling him and Jack thinks it’s so unfair

Will cuss when he’s getting tickled which he is playfully scolded by Tooth daily

The feet are off limits when your tickling him though

Not because they’re ticklish, but just because he doesn’t like the feel of it, yknow?

It overwhelms him

Will always try and get revenge on the rest of the Guardians- buuuuut that goes as well as you’d expect

Bunnymund is 6’1, North is a literal TANK, Toothiana can fly, and well- Sandy is Sandy
