i keep seeing posts talking about the recent animeexpo interview, and i think a lot of the dungeon meshi fandom is being massively inappropriate concerning ryoko kui. it's fine to have headcanons, but people are being very disrespectful to her, same as before when people were discussing her sexuality just because she drew a lot of women they thought were attractive. like you guys know this is a real human being, right..?

theres my older pacifica- after weirdmageddon, her and gideon become friends. theyre both sort of ostracized from the town as a whole bc of their past attitudes/actions so they cling together and become buds. its nice having someone else who 'gets' it.

pacifica moved out as soon as she could to get away from her folks and has a job at a local mall. gideon enables her to enjoy at least SOME of her old luxuries by taking her shopping and to get their nails done together and stuff. also his prison buddies help ''kindly persuade'' her parents not to break her enforced no-contact rule from time to time. i know the two have the bitchiest gossip in the entire town together. sometimes when its hard to be 'nice' they know they can at least vent to the other and they wont get judged for it, yknow?

also some backstory doodles! he was a Normal Kid, Once. or close enough to it. gideon was a sickly child and was sheltered and homeschooled for most of his life. the gleefuls moved from texas to oregon when he was about seven (yes i know this breaks canon a little. its fine shh.) and he found journal 2 shortly after. things went downhill from there

other notes. he's always kept his hair long, but used to either let it down or tie it into a long braid. he very briefly attended a public school and he didnt fare very well there (fat kid + albino + 'girly' + general weird interests is basically painting a massive target on your back) he used to stay up and watch late night televangelists when he couldnt sleep in hospital and copped his aesthetic from there

actually,,, thinking of demon brothers au where danny is born first but dies during the birth,,, he was alive long enough for the pits to bring him back but ra's decided the death itself was a sign that danny was weak and wouldn't be fit as the heir so they plan to just get rid of him. something/someone interferes and Somehow baby danny finds his way to amity where the fentons adopt him. But twist is that talia doesn't know danny was rescued and raises damian fully believing that her first son was dead. talia doesn't need another reason to be overprotective of damian, but this Would be another reason.

she finds out somehow after damian is with bruce and she specifically goes to them for help so Boom now there's a big search for danny. i think it'd be better if danny's real/first name wasn't daniel/danyal so it's a Tad harder for them to find him. i feel like this au would also work well with the amity blocked off from world trope too

anyway, i feel like this would be a fun au to explore danny being half ghost in! like maybe him being a halfie is directly related to going into the pits so young or him dying before he got to Live. idk,,, so many interesting routes an au like this could go

im a sonic 06 defender but one of the things about that game that i absolutely cannot defend is its handling of blaze . literally one of the coolest sonic characters ever yet they had her do almost nothing of importance other than die at the end to make silver sad . she interacts with nobody other than silver and on the rare occasion she appears in a scene with someone else she just stands there and says nothing while the other character doesnt acknowledge her existence at all . the only thing she really adds other than dying is making everything way more confusing than it needs to be because her being from the future and seemingly not knowing sonic contradicts what we already knew about her. overall it just doesnt seem like they put much thought into her inclusion and i wouldnt be surprised to find out she was a last minute addition. blaze youdidnt deserve this bestie

the brief mention that 1.3 leonard could still be feeling some deep lingering grief over his brothers' deaths still never fails to fascinate me tbh like, does he think of the standards he must have lost since their passing and feel guilt? or does he see them in every child he abuses??? does he keep his grief to himself or does he find it a useful anecdote to what must be a countless number of families dealing with loss??? does the green dragon know? does he confide in it????? since leonard seems to be aware of what arioch lost to the union, just how aware is/was she in what HE lost???????? did they have a role in each other's loss? is THAT where their beef came from??????? im going to merge into a wall
