Willington Palace Gardens | Sage, SimDonia
Diana sighs contently
Diana to herself: I hope you love this place as much as I do little one. There's no better place to be alone with your thoughts.... hopefully you'll get more use out of it than I do lately.
Footsteps approaching and voices outside
Gaurd: Your Majesty, a Dr. Fitzgerald is requesting an urgent meeting with you.
Diana: Really? Please send her in.
Dr. Fitz: Your Majesty, I do apologize for the intrustion. I asked a member of your staff where to find you and they directed me here.
Diana: Doctor, is everything alright? It's unusually chilly out today. I'm sorry you had to venture out to find me.
Dr. Fitz: Not a problem at all, ma'am. I have some great news that I couldn't wait for our next appointment to share with you.
Diana: Really? Did you- Did you find a cure?
Dr. Fitz: Sort of. I think we're very close to finding a noninvasive treatment plan that will block all the symptons related to this defect. It's a short term fix, but the longer cure is still on our rader. But, I thought this is something you'd want us to explore, as well.
Diana: Absolutely! That's amazing! What do you need from me?
Dr. Fitz: Well, we still need to do some testing to see if the treatments are successful. It will need to be on each member of the family we found with the defect. Seeing the responses from this will help not only create a plan to block the symptoms, but hopefully fully cure them, as well.
Diana: This is music to my ears. When can we start?
Dr. Fitz: We can start right away if you like. Our team is about ready.
Diana: Fantastic. I say, we go ahead, then. Great work, Doctor.
Dr. Fitz: Of course, ma'am. I will, of course, need your go ahead on informing the patients of the ongoing treatment.
Diana: What do you mean?
Dr. Fitz: Legally, ma'am, our team cannot administer treatment without consent from the patient.
Diana: I see.
Dr. Fitz: I'm sorry, ma'am. I know discretion about this matter has been of the upmost importance to you.
Diana sighs: No, don't be sorry. I imagine it's time I come clean about this. I was just... hoping I had more time.
Dr. Fitz: I understand. Should we postpone the treatment?
Diana: Yes, I need to inform everyone myself. Then, we will move forward.
Dr. Fitz: Understood, ma'am.

Hey, time to overanalyze magic again. It makes sense to me -- follow closely now -- that earthbending would just be the control of rocks. It's all the minerals that come from the ground, and sure, even some artificially created ones as long as they have the same structure. But just rocks. Not dirt.
Why not, you ask? I invite you to consider what dirt actually is. It's lots of things! Some rock dust, yes, but also crumbled plants, and decomposed animals, and a variety of fungus, and bits of poop from creatures both microscopic and large. Basically, it's a mess of all things organic (plus tiny rocks).
You don't want an earthbender for dirt.
You want a necromancer.

Originally i wasn't gonna post this, n was just gonna keep it to myself but it's insane to me how much fandoms or just people in general cannot seem to fathom anything outside of what they know. They've placed themselves into a box of what they know, what makes them comfortable and what's understandable to them. Anything past that is met with hatred and dislike for xyz. You can't have a morally grey character [ESP FEMALE.] Without accusations of abuse of any of fucking being terrorist [Looks at what people say about Mia Winters.] Fiction is not supposed to always be made for YOU. It's made for anyone, they're not nor SHOULDN'T be limited to yourself. This idea that things cannot be bad or gruesome without backlash destroys so much of what sm media is built on... If a ship between 2 characters can be seen as horrible and disgusting when theres no actual evidence of it being that way yet theres still a push when in all actuality you are allowed to write shitty relationships, its okay to write about the relationships that arent squeaky clean!!!! This idea that if you ship it, it immediately means you support it, has gone so far, when i talk about 4525 [David x Simon] or hell Woods x Hackett. Its not to bring this idea that i want real relationships to fucking be like this, its just an interesting viewing of 2 people trying to make something work. They're fictional characters. They are not real. They're little dolls you play around with, to push n do whatever with. A limit of which is okay and isn't should be there, but we've crossed it so much that, the line isn't even there anymore. Like any difficult subject you handle it with care but it doesn't automatically mean you cant ever talk about it or want to talk about it! Just like how real life is not pure, not all media will be pure and that's FINE. You should talk about villainous characters and their complexity and not be harassed for just liking them. <3333

oh no!! Suicidal baby no!! Interrogator you broke him :((
Ok but for real ~the whumpflies~, mmh yes :) destroy that man, break him down, do worse.
""buddy"" who does this guy think he is
as much as he's able to take, Sahota has never been in a situation where his captors had the ability to brutalize him to the point that it would kill him. In most cases, they wanted to keep him intact for questioning, and he'd always escape before things went too far.
Here, he never knows what level of pain to expect or when to expect it, since he only finds out right before it happens. He doesn't have any interaction with the interrogator beyond the methods themselves. And he has nothing to do between sessions. Even when he was still getting used to life with Vic, Sahota had access to books, and used reading to cope (which he still does in the present arc). Here, he can only dread what comes next.

fortunately, shortly after that interview, I interviewed with another company and they asked me normal questions about how I handle conflicts in the workplace and were so impressed with my answer that they hired me ten minutes later
