๑彡 i don’t think i’ve ever projected this hard on any of my works before, but— my sincere apologies bc i made yn a college of engineering student, like i am *insert exhaling emoji here*
๑彡 if you think tony’s a little too ooc here . . . that’s bc he’s based on endgame!tony — specifically his dynamic with morgan :D
You, [full name], are the child of Tony Stark— the Tony Stark. Not biologically in any way, but treated like one nevertheless.
A blessing it might be to remember whenever you’re around your adoptive father and everyone close to him, it’s also a curse the media loves to remind you every chance they get. They are extremely selective about when they consider you a Stark — and it all depends on the narrative they want to push. Effectively, you’re only a Stark in their eyes whenever you do something they deem unbecoming of the name.
Your father Tony does his best to shield you from all the negative attention that comes with being his child. His efforts go beyond suing reporters and paparazzi to oblivion — and assigning shadow bodyguards to keep you safe. He gives you the freedom to live normally as well, which includes bestowing you another name that flies under the radar. [First name] Carbonell.
[First name] Carbonell who just decided to participate in their university’s hack-a-thon on a whim. Who didn’t even tell their dad where they disappeared to on a weekend. And who just got called onto the makeshift stage.
"Congratulations," your old Assembly Language Programming professor greets you as you shake his hand and accept the 3D-printed trophy he’s offering you.
So much for only attending for the free merch.
(You came for the workshops, too, of course. But it was never in your plan to code something, especially with a clock set so tight, let alone submit something for judging. It just kind of . . . happened.)
You give a small, polite smile. "Thank you."
Once more, the crowd roars with applause. However, this time, it’s accompanied by a familiar celebratory whistle. Dad.
You locate him just before the shutter clicks. Your winning photo immortalizes your genuine reaction to spotting your dad in the crowd.
You run to him immediately after descending from the makeshift stage. He catches you in an embrace. "Congratulations, [nickname]." You melt into the hug as he plants a kiss on top of your head. "I’m proud of you."
Truth be told, you never imagined that you two would reach this point. You were convinced that you were meant to die in fourth grade, when HYDRA kidnapped you as petty revenge to your SHIELD agent biological parents. It was only by pure luck that the Avengers found you when they did — especially when they weren’t even looking for you in the first place. Although it wasn’t Iron Man who found you first, you clung to Tony since then because he reminded you of your biological father the most.
Tony, for his part, as he later admitted to you during your junior year of high school, had been hesitant to take you in himself. He cared for you a lot, to the point that he had been convinced you deserved a better guardian than he could ever be. Yet, at the same time, the thought of never seeing you again was too much to bear.
The two of you had to figure things out along the way. And you’d like to think you have done well in doing your respective best.
"Thanks, Dad." You tighten your hold on him, unwilling to let go just yet. "Means a lot."
Later, when your dad had enough photos of you with your trophy in his phone, he takes you to a hamburger joint. He had denied your request to have donuts for lunch, but he did promise to get a couple dozen for dessert.
"How did you know I was on campus?" You ask as you unwrap more of your burger.
Your dad, who hasn’t peeled off his photostatic veil and stripped off his disguise, nonchalantly relies, "JARVIS tattled on you."
You stop mid-bite because of that. "Dad! You said you removed that protocol!"
"I did." His burger suddenly appears the most interesting thing to look at. "I just asked JARVIS where you were because I wanted to have lunch."
Your eyes soften. University has been . . . a lot. You haven’t been able to join your dad for meals, much less hang around his workshop like you always did when you were younger.
You thought nothing it, really. Partly because you’ve been too busy to think about it, but mostly because you assumed he wouldn’t care. After all, you still live with him — and you two see each other in the hallways every-so-often at midnight.
It never occurred to you that your dad will miss you, even when he still has everything keeping him occupied. "I miss you, too, you know."

You Were My Sunshine
Summary: Once a year you disappear for a whole day. Nobody knows where you go or what you do, but the team has learned to let you have your privacy. This year though, Bucky's curiosity gets the better of him and he follows you.
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Reader
Warnings: Mentions of death. Grief. Some angst. Fluff. No mentions of Y/N.
Word Count: 3K
A/N: I realize this is a little heavy and you absolutely don't need to read it. This one's mostly for me, but I thought why not post it and let Bucky comfort other people, if you need it. As always, my inbox is always open if you want to even just chat. I hope someone likes this. Also, I promise the requests are coming, a little slowly but they're coming. I'm on vacation for two weeks so I'll spend the time writing, probably.
Masterlist
“Have a good day.” Steve calls after you as you pass the kitchen.
You stop in front of the door to smile at Steve and wave at the team as they all have breakfast together before you keep making your way to the elevator that will take you to the parking garage.
“So, we’re really just accepting this?” Bucky asks the team when the elevators close behind you and he’s sure you can’t hear him.
“Yes, Buck.” Steve says firmly.
“But-” Bucky’s protests are cut off by Tony.
“She’s entitled to her privacy.” He says firmly. “Just let it go, Frosty.”
Bucky ignores the nickname and looks around the team, searching for anyone that might have his back, but nobody else seems to be too invested in your day. Bucky gets up with a huff and makes his way to the training room, resigned that he has to let you be.
You’ve always been an open person, you’re always there for everybody that needs you and you’re not afraid to talk about anything with anybody.
Your life is an open book.
Which is precisely why it drives Bucky crazy that, once a year, you disappear for an entire day and nobody knows where you go or what you do.
You disable all your communication devices, the tracking in your car and you don’t use credit cards anywhere.
It’s like you cease to exist for a day, leaving no trace that you were anywhere.
At least that’s how the team sees it.
They’ve all tried to figure out where you go, but that’s the only subject that you never talk about and, every time anyone asks you about it, your answer is always the same:
Don’t worry about it.
After so many years, the whole team has decided to listen to you and stopped worrying about it.
Everyone except Bucky.
It’s not like you’re that close with him, but he considers you his friend and he trusts you, so it irks him that you have this huge secret that nobody knows anything about.
Needless to say, he worries about it a lot.
That’s why right now he finds himself tip toeing down to the garage. He sees you get into your car and drive away and, without even thinking about it, he jumps on his bike and follows you.
He knows this is wrong, he knows he shouldn’t follow you, that you’re allowed to have your secrets. But he can’t help himself when it comes to you. You make him lose control, you make him go insane.
He just needs you. to know.
So he follows you, as discreetly as only a trained assassin knows how. He follows you into the city and stops a few cars away when you park in front of a secondhand bookstore. Bucky knows that shop all too well, it’s one of his favorite places to visit when he’s in the city.
He waits until you disappear behind a shelf before going in, watching you as you browse the books. It looks to Bucky like you’re looking for a particular book, when you find it, he can see your face lighting up.
You turn the book to look at the back cover and Bucky can read the title very clearly. ‘Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince’, one of your favorite books. Bucky knows that because he’s talked about it with you for hours, along with all the other books of the series and the Lord of the Rings books, Bucky’s favorites.
You chat amicably with the older guy that owns the shop while you pay for your book and then leave, getting back into your car with Bucky still on your tail.
Next you go to a small bakery and buy a coffee and a cupcake. Thankfully for Bucky you’re too distracted by talking with the nice, old lady that owns the place to notice him buying his own coffee.
He follows you again as you cross the street to the park in front of the bakery and walk until you find a secluded spot. You sit down against a tree and continue peacefully reading your book under the summer sun while sipping your iced coffee.
Bucky sits on a bench nearby where he has a visual on you, but you can’t really see him unless you were really looking for him. But you’re so engrossed in reading that Bucky’s sure he could sit next to you and you wouldn’t even realize it.
He knows you get like that when you’re reading something that captures your attention, and the Harry Potter books always do, no matter how many times you’ve read them already.
Bucky always thought you looked so cute while reading. You make no attempt to hide your reactions and it amuses him. So he spends the next few hours just watching you read, watching your beautiful face shining in the sunlight as you frown and snort and laugh and pout as your eyes dart around the pages.
It’s actually relaxing, he thinks to himself. Is this what you do every year? Take a whole day just to read without the chaos of the Compound and nobody to bother you?
But why would you be so secretive about this? Reading for hours with a cup of coffee is something you’d done countless times in your room, on the roof, in the backyard of the Compound or even in the common room, never really bothered by the noise the team makes when you’re so into the words you’re reading.
So why do it in secret?
After a few hours, around lunch time, you finally come out of the book’s trance and gather your things before getting up.
Bucky frowns when you don’t get back into your car and follows you as you walk to a small family owned Italian restaurant that Bucky’s never been to but always wanted to try. He discreetly follows you in and takes a table in the back where you can’t see him.
He watches you interact with the owner, the waiter and even the cook comes out to talk to you. It’s clear that they all know you and it seems to Bucky like you’re pretty close to them even though he’s never even heard you mention this place before. When you’re done eating, Bucky sees you playfully fight with the owner that doesn’t want to let you pay so you leave a generous tip that amounts to more than your check is and the owner chuckles to himself when you wink as you walk out.
After lunch, which Bucky has to admit was pretty good, he follows you to a flower shop a couple of doors down and he’s surprised to see the owner greeting you like old friends. It looks like she was already anticipating your arrival, a bouquet of blue roses already on the counter and ready to go when you arrive. You chat with the older woman for a few minutes before paying and leaving the flower shop to go to your car.
It’s clear to Bucky by now that you obviously have a routine on your secret day, and everyone you see on this day knows it.
So why don’t the Avengers?
You looked so comfortable with all the people you’ve met today, Bucky can’t help but think that maybe you don’t feel like you belong on the team.
You drive until you arrive at your destination and Bucky is both surprised and confused when you park in the parking lot of a cemetery, get out of your car and enter it.
He subtly follows you in, watching you walk past a few graves and it looks to him like you know your way around by how effortlessly you walk without needing to check the names, stopping at one almost at the end of the row you were in while Bucky keeps his distance, always making sure to stay out of sight.
He sees you take a deep breath before kneeling in front of the grave and putting down the bouquet of flowers in front of it.
“Hi, mom…” You wipe the dirt off the tombstone and tidy the flowers in front of it with what Bucky’s sure it’s a forced smile. “Happy birthday.”
You take out the cupcake you bought that Bucky now realizes you hadn’t eaten yet and he sees you put a small red birthday candle on it and light it, then you just look at it for a few seconds before you sigh and blow it out.
“So…” You say quietly, looking back at the tombstone and Bucky can see a tear falling down your cheek.
A piece of Bucky's heart breaks seeing you so vulnerable and hurting like this, but he stays put no matter how much he wants to be at your side right now.
Bucky stands there in complete silence, hearing everything you say, hanging on to every word. He hears you talk about everything that happened in the past year, he listens to you talk about missions and parties and holidays. He hears you talk about the whole team and his heart flutters a little when you mention his name too.
You talk for a while and, after he assumes you run out of new things to say, he sees you taking out the book you just bought today.
“So, this year we finally got to the half-blood prince.” You say with a small smile. “It’s our favorite, hadn’t read it in a while.”
Bucky sees you open it and go to the page you left the bookmark in.
“It took me longer than I thought to find your favorite quote, I have to admit.” You say with a small chuckle. “It’s like 400 pages in, don’t judge me.”
Bucky chuckles quietly at your playfulness, even in this situation. He can’t help but find you adorable.
“It is the unknown we fear when we look upon death and darkness, nothing more.” You read the quote before closing the book and looking back at the grave. “That’s what you told me when I was scared of the dark…” You say quietly with a smile.
“And that’s what you told me before you…” You trail off, not being able to finish your sentence as tears start streaming down your cheeks but Bucky has a pretty good idea where you were going.
That's what she told you before she died, so you wouldn't be scared.
He’s more than surprised that he didn’t know your mother died, and he’s pretty sure the rest of the team doesn’t know either.
Admittedly, families are a very touchy subject for the Avengers.
But Bucky’s even more surprised to see you breaking down, something you’ve never done before. You’re cheery, you’re bubbly, you’re everyone’s little ray of sunshine.
And it breaks Bucky’s heart to know you’ve been falling apart when you’re by yourself all these years.
“I’m sorry I only come here once a year, I just…” You start, so quietly that Bucky’s glad he has enhanced hearing otherwise he's sure he wouldn't be able to hear you. “I miss you so much and I can’t… I can’t bear this.”
He sees you running your fingers gently over the tombstone as you take a deep, shaky breath, but you can’t stop crying.
“I’m trying to be the person you loved…” You say after a moment of silence. “Your little ray of sunshine.” You chuckle softly through the tears.
It makes sense to Bucky now why you always try to be there for everyone else. It’s how you’ve always been, apparently. Always making sure no one feels alone because deep down you feel the most alone, and you don’t want anyone else to feel that way.
You are my sunshine
Bucky’s thoughts get interrupted when he hears you quietly starting to sing.
My only sunshine
Bucky knows this song. It’s a lullaby that he’s heard you sing once before.
Clint’s family visited him at the Compound and you offered to watch his kids so he and his wife could have a date night.
You probably didn’t realize he heard you, you probably thought you were alone and it’s not like he was spying on you. He just happened to pass by when you were in Clint’s room, trying to get the three kids to sleep by singing to them.
You make me happy, when skies are gray
You take a breath before continuing but your voice wavers a little.
You’ll never know, dear, how much I love you
Bucky can see you’re having trouble getting the words out, your voice almost breaking.
Please don’t take… My sunshine… Away
Before you can even get the last word out, you break down completely, burying your face in your hands while sobbing.
Bucky feels his heart break as he takes in your pain. He wishes there was some clear and simple solution to making this all better for you, but there's always been so much he doesn't understand about complex emotions like these.
Right now, as he's watching how broken you are, though, he knows that he doesn't even care about understanding. He just wants to comfort you, to try and make it better...
Bucky comes to rest beside you, he kneels down to your level and places his hand gently on your shoulder. “Hey…” He says quietly.
His presence startles you and you go into defense mode, taking his hand on your shoulder and bending it, then using your grip on his arm to push him face down on the ground.
Bucky didn’t expect you to react so quickly and aggressively which makes it easier for you to catch him off-guard and pin him down.
“Goddammit, Bucky!” You say after you finally recognize him and let him go, getting up and scrambling back to put some distance between you and him while breathing heavily.
For a moment, Bucky is a little stunned. It's rare that anyone is able to get the jump on him like that. But then he snaps back to reality. He lets you make your distance while getting back to his feet and stands a few feet away from you.
“Did you fucking follow me?!” Your sadness is quickly forgotten and replaced with anger.
“I…” Bucky doesn’t know what to say. He knows he’s in the wrong here and he has no defense for himself when he knowingly violated your privacy. “I’m sorry, I didn’t-”
“You didn’t what?!” You snap at him. “You didn’t understand what the meaning of privacy is?!”
Bucky doesn’t know what to say, he’s never seen you this angry at anyone that’s not an enemy and surely never at him.
“I’m sorry, okay?” He says quickly. “I’m sorry, I was just curious, I didn’t think this would be it, I thought…”
“You thought what?” You say when he trails off, clearly pissed as you cross your arms in front of your chest.
“I thought maybe you were a supervillain…” He jokes weakly, trying to make you laugh. “Or a stripper.”
His last word gets a surprised laugh out of you as you, fortunately, understand he’s just joking before you actually punch him in the face.
Bucky lets out a sigh of relief as he sees you laugh and then takes a tentative step towards you.
“I really am sorry…” He says quietly, reaching out to put his hand on your shoulder. “I know it was wrong of me to follow you, and I didn’t plan on bothering you at all, which doesn’t make what I did better,” He quickly adds when he sees you’re about to say something.
“But when I saw you crying, I just… I couldn’t help myself.” He trails his hand down your arm to your hand and takes it in his. “You’re always there for everybody, I don’t think it’s fair that you don’t let anybody be there for you.”
You look at him for a long moment, processing his words. Of course you know he’s right, you don’t let anybody be there for you, but you also never really believed anyone cared enough to.
But looking at Bucky right now, it feels like he really does want to be there for you...
So you let him.
You look back down at the grave, your hand still in his as you intertwine your fingers together.
“She died when I was 14.” You say quietly. “I only had her, so I was on my own after that…”
Bucky listens quietly, his eyes on your face as he sees the tears starting to gather in your eyeline again.
“A few years later, Natasha and Clint found me during a mission. They saw me knock out a dude that cornered me in an alley and they were impressed…” You have a faint smile at the memory although it’s clear you’re about to cry again. “They offered me a place in the SHIELD Academy and, after that, I don’t know… I wasn’t alone anymore.”
You look back at Bucky to find him looking at you intently, his gaze intent and unwavering.
“Doll…” He says quietly while cupping your face with his free hand as he sees you holding back tears. “It’s okay to be vulnerable in front of the people you care about. You taught me that.”
His gentle words, the way he softly strokes your cheek and the way he’s looking at you so lovingly, it’s all too much for you and can’t hold back your tears anymore.
With a broken sob, you bury your face in Bucky’s chest and hug him tightly, clinging to him while he wraps his arms around you and hugs you just as tight, kissing the top of your head before nuzzling his face against your hair.
In this moment, while holding you in his arms, Bucky realizes it’s not like you don’t feel like you belong with the Avengers.
This is just something you feel like you have to go through on your own because you’ve always had to.
And he’ll be damned if he lets you go through it alone ever again.

Telling Tony something like "Don't worry old man, I have enough stamina for the both of us 😌" to tease him, only for him to last so long he has to take over for you when you can't keep riding him :(
this post is 18+, minors dni.
"What was that you said earlier about me being an old man?" Tony muses, casual in tone while your breath fans hot and heavy over his chest.
"Tony, I-i-" You're not sure whether you want to apologize or beg- probably both, but you're so tuckered out from trying to balance leaning into the desperate pleasure clawing at your insides and keeping yourself steadily riding Tony's cock that nothing transmits from your brain to your mouth.
"I should have bet on who'd last longer." He laments, plucking your wrist from where it's bent against his chest, holding your hand hostage in the air before dropping it and letting it fall back down to his abdomen, "I'd have been rich."
"Tony, help me," You plead, almost a wheeze as you rake in lungfuls of air, tears pricking at your eyes as you grind against his hips with the meager strength you have left. Your biceps and thighs sting when you try using them, leaving you weak against Tony's form where he lazes against the headboard. Still, you pump your hips, barely moving but desperate for any friction at all as your parted lips graze his shoulder.
"I don't know, it just seems insensitive." He ponders, "I mean, you were so sure you could take charge tonight, and if I step in now, it would be stunting your potential and leaving you reliant on others to save the day for you." He lets your exasperated sound, part sigh, part whimper, part groan, be the backing track for his next statement, "They say the number one rule of teaching is that they don't learn if you do it for them."
"Tony." Your fingers curl against his skin, surely leaving crescent marks in his chest, "Please- please quit the bullshit. I want- I need, I need more, I need you to move me, please!"
You've said the magic words, and Tony's super abilities may be advertised in terms of his technological marvels, but he's undeniably strong when he wrestles you onto your back, flipping you over so that his chest presses against yours.
"Remember this." He says, but it sounds like an order now, not dry wit like before, "The next time you think you're gonna boss me around, remember the way your back just hit the mattress, and quit playing top before you get exactly what you asked for."

Casual Study Dates | Peter Parker
(MCU) Peter Parker/Fem Stark Reader
Warnings - slightly suggestive
Summary - Avenger’s compound a usually busy place hustling with activity seems unusually quiet for the day. leaving y/n and Peter in a sticky situation (pun intended)
Word Count: 1,237
°°••....••°°
Avenger’s Compound, a place that’s usually bustling with activities and combat training sometime’s has quiet days like this where super-powered humans who have insanely intense hearing can hear a pin drop from across campus. For you though being one of the youngest on the team you hated those days because it seemed as if everybody always wanted to see what you were up to. You weren’t necessarily an avenger but you were extremely smart and helped out around the lab and worked on some Stark Industries projects with your dad every once and a while. And that’s how you met Peter Parker and during those first two years of awkward conversations and study dates you two seemed to find some comfort in all that awkwardness.
“Are you nervous about MIT sending out their decisions soon?” Peter asked while getting comfortable on your bed while staring out at the beautiful city view.
“Why would I be nervous Peter? Most of my family are MIT Alumni.” You said a bit cocky if you really think about it.
“I- know it’s just I figured maybe you’d be experiencing the same nerves I was. It was a stupid question nevermind sorry” Peter stuttered out.
“You don’t have to be sorry Peter and you definitely don’t have to worry my dad put in a good word about you. You’re one hundred percent getting into MIT” You told him confidently.
You knew Peter was an anxious person and you’d do anything to take his nerves away.
“Now are we going to keep stressing about MIT or are we going to figure out these formulas that Bruce gave us to solve?” You asked while holding up the stack of papers labeled ‘Top Secret Formulas’.
Peter nodded his head yes while lifting his body off your bed to instead sit on the edge of the bed closer to your desk where all of your work was scattered across your laptop.
“But first I need to put some music on or else I won’t be able to focus” You said before sliding the miscellaneous papers off your laptop.
“That’s the Stark in you talking, how can you focus better with music blasting in your ears?” Peter asked while laughing.
“I guess you are right, that is a classic trait of my dads. But it just helps me focus better. I don't know, I can't explain it.” You turned on your playlist before flipping to the first page of the stack of formulas Bruce assigned you to solve.
Your speaker was loud but who cares it’s not like anyone cared or was listening everyone was off doing their own things. The first few songs were upbeat and fun but the farther you got into your playlist the more guilty pleasure songs started playing, but Peter didn’t mind he was blocking out the music anyways so he could focus better on the formulas in front of him. What you didn’t know was that Steve and Nat were standing outside your room listening.
“Knee deep where? doing what?” Steve said worriedly looking over at Nat.
“It’s just a song Steve stop being so old-school” Nat smirked back at him.
“But Peter’s in there with her, what if they aren’t actually studying?” Steve asked as any worried uncle would.
“The song is talking about having relations in the bathroom during dinner time, that’s not appropriate Nat” Steve said firmly not accepting any excuse now.
Nat wasn’t interested in continuing this conversation any further and started walking toward the living quarters where there sat Bucky, Clint, Bruce and of course Tony.
“What’s got you so tense Cap? Your boyfriends right here if you have to relieve some tension” Tony laughed making fun of Steve and Bucky’s unusual bromance.
“I think you should worry more about what your daughter and Peter are doing upstairs” Steve said, crossing his arms.
“What? What are you talking about Cap? His vigilant ass better not be corrupting my innocent perfect daughter” Tony angrily stated as his face turned a shade of red nobody expected.
“They are listening to a song about having relations in the car and bathroom” Steve said pointing upstairs to your room.
“And you didn’t shut it down the moment you heard that? What kind of uncle are you?” Tony asked running up the stairs to take a listen for himself.
“Oh my gosh the lyrics are filthy but it sounds so calming, how does an artist achieve that?” Tony muttered under his breath before harshly knocking on your bedroom door and bursting in unannounced.
“What’s going on here?” Tony yelled loudly only to be met with a view of you sitting at your desk and Peter sitting on your bed leaning against the headboard with a textbook and stack of papers sitting on his lap.
“What dad? We are busy figuring out the formulas Bruce gave us. Why the hell is everyone crowding outside my room?” You asked, pointing towards Steve, Bucky, Nat, Clint and Bruce all huddling in a circle outside your bedroom door.
“Well we heard the song you guys were listening to and were a bit concerned. You guys aren’t acting on those lyrics are you? You guys better not be under my roof” Tony questioned with a look of disgust on his face.
“What the hell are you going on about dad?” You asked looking over at Peter who looked like he'd seen a ghost.
“Are you guys having sexual relations?” Tony asked in disgust as your playlist suddenly skipped to the next song which would make your case even worse.
“Head so good, she's an honor roll she’ll ride your what like a carnival?” Tony repeated the lyrics.
“I am on the honor roll though, so it’s not entirely a lie” You replied back smirking like a smartass.
“This is not a laughing matter young lady, we are talking about something serious here, answer my question right now” Tony stated with a straight face not joking around anymore.
“Yeah we are and what about it?” You said, shrugging your shoulders.
“Y/n not in front of everybody” Peter said shyly.
“Who cares Peter they were going to find out sooner or later anyways, might as well just tell them now” You said looking back at everyone’s shocked faces. As you looked past your father behind him stood Bucky handing Clint a ten dollar bill.
“You guys had a bet going on about us?” Peter asked, looking back and forth between them but also keeping one eye on Tony just in case he might try to kill him.
“This conversation is not over and from now on this door stays open” Tony said sternly ignoring all the giggles and snarky remarks coming from his fellow avengers. Your playlist then starts playing a different song which lightens up the mood just a little.
“This one has a dance to go along with it, watch H-O-T-T-O-G-O it’s like the YMCA'' You said while doing the dance.
“I like doing the YMCA” Steve said, smiling now entering your room.
“Of course you do because you're ancient” Peter said jokingly.
As you can expect you didn’t think you’d be ending your day teaching Steve Rogers the Hot To Go dance however you wouldn’t trade the quiet days at the compound for anything because at the end of the day you’re just one big family and you wouldn’t trade them for the world.

Arrest me, Captain - oneshot
Steve Rogers x reader

The sun scorched the tarmac at Leipzig-Halle airport, the heat rising off the concrete matching the fire in your chest.
Two lines of Avengers stood face to face. All former teammates. Now… opponents. The Civil War had officially come to a head.
You stood just behind Tony, spine straight, heart hammering. The red tint of your HUD reflected in your eyes, but you didn’t need tech to feel the crackling energy building.
Your powers — your ability to control minds and move objects with sheer thought — pulsed like a heartbeat just beneath your skin.
Across from you… Steve Rogers. Your boyfriend. Your current enemy.
He looked ridiculous in that damn blue uniform. Ridiculous and infuriating and hot as fuck.
He hadn’t said a word to you since this mission started — since the teams were drawn, and you made your choice.
You chose Tony. You chose accountability. And Steve… didn’t.
But none of that stopped the way your stomach flipped when his eyes finally locked on yours. Wide shoulders, jaw clenched, mouth tight like he wanted to say something but wouldn’t. He looked at you like he hated that he still wanted you.
Good. You hated that you still wanted him too.
"You sure about this?" Rhodey murmured beside you, nodding toward Cap’s team.
You didn't take your eyes off Steve. “He’s the one who should be sure.”
And just like that, the fight exploded. Wings, webs, shields, repulsors — it was chaos in motion.
You ducked a flying drone and launched yourself forward, twisting through smoke and yelling. You reached out with your powers, lifting a cargo container into the air like it weighed nothing.
And with a flick of your fingers — you hurled it straight at him.
Steve turned just in time, shield raised, catching the full weight of the container like the super soldier he was.
Show-off.
You smirked and called across the battlefield, loud and cocky: “Nice catch.”
Without missing a beat, he shouted back — “Nice ass.”
“Are you kidding me?” Natasha shouted over comms.
"Not the time for flirting!" Sam groaned as he dodged a blast from Vision.
“You two gonna make out or actually fight?” Clint chimed in, somewhere off to the left.
You just grinned, your eyes never leaving Steve. “Can’t help it if your team leader’s obsessed with me.”
Steve was already moving, bulldozing through the chaos like a man possessed. You could feel the shift in him — the way his focus snapped entirely to you. Not Bucky. Not the mission.
You.
“Careful, Rogers,” you called, backing toward the terminal, lips curling. “You look like you're about to forget which side you’re on.”
“I haven’t forgotten,” he growled. “You have.”
You laughed — light, dangerous. “Maybe I’m just tired of following orders.”
You didn’t wait for him to reach you. You turned, sprinting toward the edge of the runway, weaving through debris with deadly precision. You could’ve flown — could’ve used your powers to keep distance — but you wanted him close.
You wanted him desperate.
Let him chase you. Let him burn.
You felt his footsteps pounding behind you. Felt the storm building in his chest, the mix of anger and longing twisting in the air like lightning.
You rounded a corner and slipped into a dim service hallway just outside the terminal — the chaos of the fight muffled behind you.
And then — BAM. A rough hand caught your wrist. The other pinned you against the wall, hard enough to knock the breath from your lungs.
Your back hit the concrete. His chest hit yours.
Steve Rogers was in front of you, breathing hard, shield still gripped in one hand, eyes wild.
“You don’t get to do this,” he snapped, voice low and shaking.
You raised an eyebrow, unfazed. “Do what, babe?”
“Act like you don’t know exactly what the fuck you’re doing.”
You smirked, tilting your head. “Then arrest me, Captain.”
His jaw flexed.
Your thighs clenched.
And everything went silent except your heartbeats slamming in unison.
--------------------------
His grip tightened on your wrist, not enough to hurt — just enough to remind you who you were dealing with. The shield clattered to the floor, forgotten, as his other hand braced against the wall beside your head.
His face was inches from yours.
“I should put you in cuffs,” he growled.
Your lips curled into a slow, dangerous smile. “You always did want to see me in restraints.”
His breath caught. Just for a second. That was all it took.
You leaned in, the tip of your nose brushing his. “Do it then. Arrest me, Captain.”
Steve’s jaw ticked. “Don’t tempt me.”
“I’m literally on Team Iron Man. I’m the enemy. What’re you gonna do about it?” Your voice dropped, sultry and wicked. “Spank me for treason?”
His mouth crashed into yours like a detonation. No warning. No hesitation.
Just heat. Hunger. Months of tension exploding all at once.
You moaned into him, arms flying up around his neck as he shoved you harder into the wall, tongue claiming your mouth like he had every right to — like he owned you, even now, even on the wrong goddamn side of a war.
“You think I give a shit what team you’re on?” he panted between kisses, hips pressing between your thighs. “You’re mine.”
You gasped as he gripped your ass, yanking you up so your legs wrapped around his waist.
“Then show me,” you dared. “Prove it.”
His mouth found your throat, teeth grazing that sweet spot just under your ear. “You’ve been brattier than usual, sweetheart.”
“You love it.”
He slammed you into the wall again and grinned darkly. “Unfortunately for you… I do.”
His hand slid up under your suit, fingers trailing over your stomach, down between your legs. When he felt how wetyou were, he froze.
“Jesus Christ.” He looked up at you with fire in his eyes. “You came out here like this?”
You smirked, breath shaky. “It’s the suit. Tight as hell. Gets me worked up.”
He growled low in his throat. “You wore it knowing I’d see you.”
“Maybe I wanted a reaction.”
“Well, you’ve got it now.”
In one swift motion, he spun and carried you across the corridor, kicking open the nearest service door. It slammed shut behind you — a dark utility room, dusty and unused.
Steve tossed you down on a crate, yanking the zipper of your suit down roughly. His fingers were already undoing his own belt, his cock already hard, leaking.
You licked your lips. “You gonna fuck the defiance out of me, Captain?”
He grabbed your jaw, forcing you to look up at him. His voice was low. Deadly serious. “I’m gonna fuck you until you remember who you belong to.”
You didn’t even have time to gasp — his mouth was on yours again, hands tugging your suit down, exposing your chest. His kisses were bruising, desperate, full of everything he’d been trying not to say for weeks.
“You drive me fucking insane,” he hissed, biting your lip. “Always mouthing off. Always testing me.”
“‘Cause you like it,” you whispered, gasping when he shoved two fingers inside you, no warning.
Your back arched. “Steve—”
“You know better than to go against me,” he growled into your neck, curling his fingers. “But you wanted this. Didn’t you?”
You nodded, panting. “Yes—fuck, yes, I did—”
“Say it.”
“I wanted you,” you whimpered, “wanted you so bad—”
“Even while you were fighting me?” He slipped his fingers out and rubbed them over your clit, slow and punishing. “Even when you turned your back on me?”
“Yes—god, Steve—”
“Then take it,” he snapped.
And then he was inside you — deep — all at once, no hesitation, splitting you open in a way that made your eyes roll back.
You cried out, nails digging into his back as he set a brutal rhythm. Each thrust drove the air from your lungs, each growl in your ear made your walls clamp tighter around him.
“You’re mine,” he snarled. “No matter what team you’re on. No matter how much you fight me. You fucking belong to me.”
“Yes—yes—I’m yours—” you gasped.
He fucked you harder, his hands gripping your hips so tight you’d have bruises.
“Always so fucking cocky,” he panted. “You need to be reminded who you obey.”
He slapped your ass, hard, and you moaned, head falling back. “You like this, don’t you? You like being punished.”
“Only when it’s by you,” you said, grinning breathlessly.
He leaned in, lips to your ear. “I’m gonna fill you up.”
Your stomach clenched. “Yeah?”
“Gonna come inside you,” he growled, hand between your thighs again, rubbing your clit as he pounded into you. “Wanna watch it drip out. Wanna make you mine again.”
You sobbed — so close, so overwhelmed, body on fire.
“Say it,” he growled. “Say you want it.”
“I want it—want your cum—want you to fill me up—”
“You want me to breed you, baby?” he whispered, dark and possessive. “Fill you so deep you can’t even think about Tony’s side again?”
You screamed — body locking up, pleasure ripping through you in waves. He felt your walls clench and snapped, burying himself to the hilt and groaning as he emptied into you, thick and hot.
Your bodies trembled against each other, breathless, tangled in sweat and lust and the aftermath of war.
Silence settled.
Except your heartbeat.
Except his.
Still synced. Still one.
You looked up at him with glassy eyes. “Guess you really don’t want me defecting.”
He gave you a cocky, exhausted grin. “Not when you look that good in my cum.”
------------------------------
The only sound in the dim utility room was your breath catching and Steve’s heartbeat hammering against your chest.
You were still wrapped around him, your bodies pressed together, slick with sweat and cum, his hands clutching your waist like he couldn’t let go. Like if he did, you’d vanish.
And maybe you would.
Maybe he would.
“…Fuck,” you whispered, voice hoarse and small. “That was…”
“Insane?” he offered, lips brushing your temple.
“Yeah,” you breathed. “Insane. Desperate. So fucking good.”
Steve laughed softly, but it didn’t reach his eyes. He was still buried inside you, still hard, still holding you like the world outside that door didn’t exist. But it did. And you both knew what was waiting when you stepped back out there.
War.
Sides.
Choices.
You shifted your hips, letting him slip out of you gently, both of you wincing at the sensitivity. His cum dripped slowly from your core, and you felt him glance down at the sight — pupils dilating again — but he didn’t say anything.
Not yet.
You sat up, legs trembling, running a hand through your messy hair. “You’re really gonna go back out there and fight me after that?”
Steve’s expression changed.
Pain.
Real, raw pain.
“I don’t want to,” he admitted, voice barely above a whisper. “I never wanted to be against you.”
You swallowed, heart tightening.
“Then why are we?” you asked quietly.
He looked at you like it shattered him. “Because I have to protect Bucky. And you have to protect Tony. And neither of us are willing to let the other one get hurt.”
Silence.
Just the two of you breathing, just the truth hanging in the air like a weight on both your shoulders.
“You think I don’t lie awake every night wondering if we’ll survive this?” he murmured. “Wondering if I’ll lose you over something we can’t control?”
You stared at him.
Steve.
The man who held your heart. The man who just wrecked your body. The man who would never stop fighting for what he believed in, even if it meant tearing you both apart.
“Don’t say that,” you whispered. “Don’t say ‘lose me.’ I’m right here.”
“For now,” he said bitterly. “But when this is over… what then?”
“I don’t know,” you admitted. “But I do know this—”
You crawled back into his lap, cupping his face with shaking fingers.
“I’m still yours,” you whispered. “Even when I’m fighting you. Even when I’m pissing you off. Even when I’m wearing the wrong colors or standing next to Tony instead of you—I’m still yours.”
Steve’s eyes glistened.
He leaned into your touch like he was starving for it.
“I love you,” he said. “Even when I want to scream at you. Even when you drive me out of my goddamn mind.”
You smiled. It was small, soft, but it lit up his whole world.
“I love you too,” you said, pressing your forehead to his. “More than this fight. More than any side.”
He kissed you again — softer now. No teeth, no bruising, just mouths moving in a slow rhythm, lips memorizing the shape of love in a warzone.
When you finally pulled back, your voice was gentle.
“We should go.”
He nodded reluctantly.
But when you stood, he reached down and tucked himself back in, then pulled your suit gently over your thighs, fingers lingering.
“Next time you try to fight me,” he said, his voice low and teasing again, “you better be ready to deal with the consequences.”
You smirked over your shoulder. “Is that a promise, Captain?”
He stepped up behind you, slid his arms around your waist, and whispered into your ear:
“No. That’s a threat.”
You shivered.
He kissed your cheek once more — then opened the door.
And just like that, the war resumed.
But now?
You were walking back into it with his cum still inside you.
And that? That made you feel untouchable.

oh my god, you, y-you look stunning

avenger!peter parker x fem!reader
peter 'friendly neighborhood spiderman' parker drooling at the sight of you when picking you up for the stark gala. major pining. actually just exclusively pining
wc: ~0.9k
part two: go get her, kid
part three: impossible to behave around (no plot smut)
masterlist
peter put the finishing touches on his curls, doing his best to follow the instructions tony had given him. he wasn’t used to doing his hair, let alone used to the rest of his get-up for the evening. peter couldn't remember the last time he'd worn a three-piece suit to something. he had never been to a stark gala before, but he knew it was a bigger deal than anything he could even imagine.
he shot himself one last look in the mirror, running his hands over the custom-tailored jacket tony had gifted him. he’d never admit it, but he understood cashmere now.
he threw his final belongings in his pocket as he did one last sweep of his room and made a hasty exit down the hallway towards your room in the stark compound.
he was beyond anxious. every one of his senses was on edge (even more than the normal 1000%). he stood in front of your door, hands shaking as he brought his fist up to knock gently. he rapped in a succession of five knocks, signaling it was him on the other side.
peter rocked on his heels as he awaited your answer, his impatient mind going a thousand miles an hour.
and suddenly, it was going zero. as soon as peter caught sight of you opening the door, it was the only thing on his mind: past, present, future.
he couldn’t help but let his eyes trail down your figure, taking in the entirety of the grace and elegance that adorned you. you stood in front of him, a gorgeous red silk dress ornamenting your body in the best way possible.
his color. you were wearing his color.
and you had your hair down, which he rarely ever saw, and suddenly he had a preferred hairstyle on you. everything about you made his breath catch in his throat, and he felt like he was under a spell.
“… peter?”
“oh my god you, y-you look stunning,” peter responded swiftly in practically a moan, mouth hanging agape like the dog you had turned him into.
your face flushed, a smirk creeping on your lips as you reached over to grab your purse.
“you don’t look so bad yourself, pete.”
you stepped out of your doorway, nearly having to push him backwards to leave your room.
you laughed, “are you ready to head out?”
peter nodded his head eagerly, bowing his arm out for you to link. you did so contently, and the two of you made your way to the elevator, nerves overpowering as you walked with him.
the tension between the two of you was thick, both walking through the compound with aching silence. your heels echoed against the tile as you made your way to the main entrance where happy was waiting with a car. you looked up at peter as you made your way into the lobby, his head turning immediately to look at you as he caught your glance in his peripheral. the moment your eyes locked, every last bit of air was vacuumed from your lungs. you could tell he felt the same way, his adam's apple bobbing as he took a heavy swallow. you gave him a smile, but not an innocent one at that. no, he knew the smile was filled with intention. he only hoped he was right about what said intention was.
happy's loud clap snapped them out of their trance. "okay! you two are not the only ones i have to pick up, so if we could just, pause the weird horny moment and get in the car, that would be awesome."
peter's cheeks flushed immediately, shocked with himself at how easily he was completely and utterly distracted by you. you had him under a spell, he was sure of it, but he couldn't seem to care.
you laughed and apologized to happy, rushing peter towards the limo. he ran ahead of you to grab the door, holding your hand as you lowered yourself into the vehicle. you looked up at your hand in his, the feeling of his skin on yours burning your senses. he looked so good in his suit, so strong and big. you shook yourself free from the trance, scooting further in to allow peter room on the seat.
he slid in after you, shutting the door behind him and never breaking eye contact. he let out a shaky breath and chewed on the inside of his lip, forcing himself to take deep breaths even just looking at you.
he was snapped out of it, jumping in his seat at the sound of a door slamming, signaling happy in the driver's seat. he looked up to make eye contact with him in the rearview mirror and let out a huff of air at seeing the older man wink at him before rolling up the privacy screen.
he stopped it an inch before closing, "sam and bucky will be in that backseat in less than five minutes. behave yourselves."
tempted to part 2 to this with little plot, full smut because needy and pussywhipped peter is just gorgeous

Stark's Wit~ Tony Stark
Summary: You're not the best at hand-to-hand combat, but your the second best Stark with sarcastic responses.
Warnings: Platonic nicknames, possible swearing, sarcastic humour.
Reader's Age: 18
The biting wind whipped around Y/n as she stood on the training platform, a scowl etched on her face. Sparring with super soldiers in January was not her idea of a fun Friday afternoon. Especially when all she had to defend herself was the Stark family arsenal of sarcasm.
“Alright, kid, you ready?” Steve, radiating earnest encouragement, adjusted his gloves. Beside him, Bucky simply stared, his metal arm gleaming dully in the overcast light. Sam hovered behind them, a wry grin on his face. He knew how this usually went.
"Born ready, Captain Rogers," Y/n quipped, her voice dripping with irony. "Just try not to break anything too important. Dad would have a conniption if his precious lab assistant came back in pieces."
Steve winced. He still wasn't entirely used to Y/n's… bluntness. "We'll be careful, Y/n. This is just for practice."
"Practice for what? The Super Soldier Olympics?" She rolled her eyes. "Last time I checked, my skill set leaned more towards coding and caffeine addiction, not hand-to-hand combat."
Bucky finally spoke, his voice gruff. "Everyone needs to know how to defend themselves, Stark. Especially with your… family history."
That hit a little too close to home. Y/n tightened her jaw. "Right, because I specifically asked to be born into a world of interdimensional travel, rogue AI, and sentient purple grapefruits. My bad."
Steve sighed and stepped forward. "Alright, enough talking. Let's see what you've got."
The next few minutes were, to put it mildly, humiliating. Steve, ever the gentleman, pulled his punches, but even he couldn't help but land a few glancing blows. Bucky, predictably, was less restrained. His metal arm was like a battering ram, and Y/n found herself mostly dodging and weaving, her reflexes surprisingly sharp despite her lack of formal training.
"Having fun yet?" Sam called out, leaning against the railing.
"Oh, I'm having a ball, Sam," Y/n gasped, narrowly avoiding Bucky's fist. "This is exactly how I pictured spending my Friday: getting pummeled by a century-old assassin. Living the dream, really."
She managed to duck under Steve’s arm and deliver a swift kick to his shin. It wasn’t exactly a knockout blow, but it was enough to make him stumble.
"Not bad, Y/n," Steve said, rubbing his leg. "You're getting faster."
"Years of dodging Dad's bad science puns have honed my reflexes," she retorted, then spun to face Bucky, who was advancing with a predatory gleam in his eye. "Alright, Tin Man, let's dance!"
Bucky lunged. This time, Y/n tried a different tactic. As he swung his metal arm, she sidestepped and grabbed a handful of his long hair, yanking him off balance.
"Whoa! Hey!" Bucky sputtered, momentarily disoriented.
"Sorry, Barnes! Didn't know you were so sensitive about your 'vintage chic' hairstyle," Y/n said, releasing him and darting away.
Sam burst out laughing. Even Steve cracked a smile. Bucky, however, wasn't amused. He charged again, his movements less precise, fueled by irritation.
Y/n knew she couldn't keep this up forever. She was already winded, and her sarcasm reserves were starting to run dry. As Bucky cornered her near the edge of the platform, she knew she was out of options.
"Okay, okay, I surrender!" she yelled, throwing her hands up in the air. "Uncle! Mercy! I admit defeat! You win, metal arm! You’re the best at… uh… arming metal-ly! Yeah, that’s the one.”
Bucky stopped, his expression a mixture of annoyance and begrudging amusement. “You’re impossible, Stark.”
“That’s what my therapist keeps telling me,” Y/n said, panting. She collapsed onto a nearby bench, gathering her breath.
Steve clapped her on the shoulder. "You did well, Y/n. You're quick, and you think on your feet. You just need to work on your… offensive capabilities."
"My offense is impeccable," Y/n said, gesturing to Bucky. "Just ask him. I practically incapacitated him with my devastating wit."
Sam snorted. "Yeah, well, wit doesn't exactly stop a bullet."
"True," Y/n conceded. "But it can annoy someone enough that they forget what they were going to do in the first place. That's a defense mechanism in itself, right?"
She looked up at their faces, a hopeful glimmer in her eyes. They were her dad’s friends, family even. And despite the inherent strangeness of having super soldiers trying to turn her into a miniature Avenger, she knew they cared.
Steve, ever the optimist, gave her a reassuring smile. "It's a start, Y/n. We'll keep working on it."
"Great," Y/n said, her sarcasm returning full force. "Just promise me one thing: next time, can we at least do this in a heated environment? And maybe with a pizza? I'm pretty sure I can weaponize pepperoni."
Bucky rolled his eyes, but there was a hint of a smile playing on his lips. Even he had to admit, Y/n Stark, with her sharp tongue and Stark-brand stubbornness, was growing on him. Even if she did almost pull his hair out. He smirked, “I’d pay to see that.”
As the three men began to pack up, Y/n pulled out her phone. Time to order that pizza. And maybe send Dad a text. Something along the lines of: 'Almost got murdered by Bucky today. Send backup (and maybe a new shield design. Sarcasm-proof, preferably).

Who are you?~
Stephen Strange x Reader!Stark
Warnings: smut, baby girl nickname, dominate Stephen, age gap (20 ish years) cussing, choking.
Stephen sat by the bar a martini in his hand regretting telling Tony Stark that he would make it to yet another victory party- even though Stephen was pretty sure it was just an excuse for Tony to have another party. With the mission they all had; it was probably a good idea on Tony’s part to release some tension that was weighed on their shoulders from the mission.
“Hey pretty boy- do you want more of that drink?” Natasha said with a soft laugh as she leaned across the bar counter. Stephen rolled his eyes but a smile placed on his face.
“You know I could just refill it myself.” He commented a slight cocky look on his face- Nat just rolled her eyes.
“Hey im being nice to you- don’t be cocky mr magic.” She laughs taking his cup and refilling his martini drink. She handed to him and he did a quiet thank you. His eyes snapped towards a young woman in a black dress- who laughed loudly at what Thor was saying to her; most likely trying to impress the young girl. Stephen almost dropped his drink when she caught his eyes. Why hasn’t he seen her before? She was gorgeous, h/l h/c hair and when she looked around he caught the color of her eyes. They were so bright and full of youth and life. Natasha notices this laughing lightly.
“Ah so you’ve finally caught your eye on her?” Natasha says titling her head at the sorcerer seeing the way he didn’t want to remove his eyes from her. He looks back mouth slightly open before clearing his throat.
“Who is that?” He questions rubbing the back of his neck with his hand. Nat just smiles knowing exactly who she was but wanted to see how this would play out.
“Why don’t you go see.” She hummed before turning around to prepare more drinks for the guests. Stephen had a cocky smile on his face before doing exactly what Natasha had suggested. He straightened his suit before walking over to the mystery girl.
“And that’s why I can be the only whom can hold the hammer!” Thor boomed loudly as she laughed at how loud and energetic Thor could be.
“So you have to be worthy? So if it’s on an elevator- does that mean the elevator is worthy?” she cocked her head to the side- her gaze pure and full of interest.
“You’re very funny Lady- Oh Mr. Wizard!” Thor exclaims looking at Stephen who was behind her ready to go up to introduce himself. She turns around to face the sorcerer smiling from ear to ear.
“Oh hi.” She chuckles bringing up her martini up to her lips. Stephen swore his breath caught in his throat when he saw her up close- she was stunning.
“Hi. My name is Doctor Stephen Strange.” He said bringing his hand out- she giggled before taking his hand giving it a firm shake.
“I knew that already but hi.”
“So you’re not going to tell your name?” He chuckles bringing his hand back away from her touch suddenly missing the feeling of warmth.
“I’m afraid if I tell you Doctor- you’ll run away and I don’t know about you but I don’t want you too.” She smirked- ah so a flirt she was. Stephen grinned leaning against the wall closest to them.
“Oh? Is that so?” He sipped on his drink as he looked at her- she couldn’t be more than 23 years old. Young- maybe a little too young for him but god was she the most gorgeous girl he’s ever seen. “I think I can handle it.” He hummed. She walked closer to him tilting her head.
“No- I don’t really think you could Doctor Strange.” She smiled softly poking his chest. “Have a great night.” She winked at him before walking away from the sorcerer. Stephen watched as she walked away- her hips swaying. She knew she was a tease, she knew that Stephen strange was completely attracted to her. Only if he knew she loved to play games.
Stephen rubbed his forehead with his fingers as he looked up at Tony explaining their next mission. That’s when she walked in. The mystery girl from the party.
“Aye there’s my girl.” Tony smiles softly. She smiles widely giving Tony a side hug- her eyes landing on Stephen.
“Hey Y/n.” Natasha smirks looking between the two knowing Stephen had no idea yet and that made it much more entertaining.
“So y/n is your name?” Stephen smirks leaning back on the god awful office chair. Y/n smiles softly looking at Tony- who was glaring daggers towards Stephen.
“How do you know my daughter doctor?” Tony asked as he crossed his arms his gazing never leaving Stephen. Stephen almost choked- eyes wide as Natasha sat there giggling like a maniac. Y/n bit her lip nervously watching Stephen’s reaction.
“I met him at the party dad- don’t worry about it.” She said flicking her dad’s nose a smile on her face- that made Stephen basically swoon.
“So you’re Y/n Stark?” Stephen whispered rubbing his gotee mentally face palming himself. He flirted with Tony’s daughter- god she must be so young then. Tony kept his gaze on Stephen.
“Stay. Away.” Tony groaned. Stephen smirked lightly moving his gaze from Tony back to Y/n as she used that little flirt smile; basically begging him to not stay away.
“I’ll see you guys later.” Y/n grins walking away from the meeting. Stephen heart thumping against his chest as he watched her walk away.
“No- don’t think about it.” Tony warned pointing a finger towards Stephen. “She is 23 years old-“
“So why isn’t that I didn’t know you had a daughter Tony?” Stephen laughed leaning against the chair crossing his arms.
“Because- I like to keep her safe and away from public eye.” Tony grumbled. Stephen hummed smirking a bit. “Now stay away!” Stephen tried to… he really did.
And there she was again- he’s bumped into her everywhere now. The kitchen, in the training room, anywhere and everywhere. He watched as she read in the common room, her knees curled up to her chest- as she let the tv roll with a random show as a background noise. He knew it was creepy to watch but she looked so peaceful. He kept hearing Tony’s voice- “stay away” but god was it so hard. She was beautiful and brought a certain light in the room. He watched as she slowly chewed the bottom of her lip- reading glasses framing her face, a messy bun on top of her head. Stephen needed to talk to her- instead of small talk it was driving him crazy. He ran a hand through his hair before walking up to her on the couch.
“Must be interesting whatever you’re reading.” He mutters lightly. She looks up from her book a small smile on her face.
“I mean it is Harry Potter- of course it is.” She giggled placing her book down on her lap. “I mean you would know about wizards huh? Did you come from Hogwarts?” She jokes- she was a lot like her father.
“Haha-“ he laughs sarcastically sitting himself down on the couch before looking at her. “I’m a sorcerer by the way- not a wizard.”
“That’s not what my dad says. I’m pretty sure you’re a wizard.” She smirked tilting her head in a cocky way that made Stephen’s heart thump.
“Does it look like I have a wand?” He joked back at her- she just laughed lightly rolling her eyes moving herself dangerously close to him.
“I don’t know. Do you?” She flirted batting her eyelashes- she knew she was cute, she knew she was a flirt and she used that to her advantage when it came to Stephen strange. Stephen looked at her when she moved herself closer to him- her batty lashes and pouty lips.
“You know you’re a flirt don’t you?” He chuckled lightly his face moving dangerously close to hers-
“Only with you- I told you, you’d run when you found my name.” She smirked moving her head away from his- Stephen let out the breath he was holding noticing the small smirk on her lips. He knew she was playing a very dangerous game. He looked around his surroundings to notice no one was in fact here- he decided to take a very dangerous step, that could end up getting him killed by Tony but god she was all he could think about. He grabs her chin moving her head closer to his- his eyes flickering from her eyes to her lips.
“I didn’t run.” He mutters softly- smirking lightly seeing the blush that covered her cute face. He brings his face closer rubbing his nose against hers- her eyes fluttering close as his breath hits her soft lips. “I can tease too, you know.” He grinned letting go of her chin pulling his head away noticing the slight whimper and pout escaping her lips and face.
“No- you cannot get to do that and walk away.” She huffs standing up from the couch her arms crossed as she stared down at him. Stephen laughs lightly standing up to tower over her.
“You’re cute when you get mad.” Stephen chuckles deeply winking at her before walking away- he could hear her huff and plop back down on the couch.
Stephen was determined to make Y/n stark blush, and wanting to more. They hung out all the time- of course when everyone was asleep. They would talk and flirt but most importantly he got to actually know the young stark- he found out she loves reading, and quite like her father; sassy, witty, silver tongue. He was enjoying her presents more and more. Dare to say he was actually falling for her.
Stephen groaned again as he was at ANOTHER party of Tony starks- it wasn’t even a celebration. It was just a party because Tony got bored. Stephen smiled as he watched Y/n wearing a red mini dress trying her absolute best to get Stephen’s attention and god it was working. He sipped on his martini as he stared at her talking to Wanda- she kept glancing at Stephen behind her shoulder the red lipped smirk aimed at him, and every time she looked at him she would bit her lower lip in such a seductive way. She was waiting for him to break- and he was so close to. Stephen chewed the inside of his cheek before setting his glass down and marching over to her. He slyly wrapped an arm around her waist giving Wanda an apologetic smile.
“Wanda- May I borrow y/n?” Stephen asked- y/n eyes wide as she looked up at Stephen her head tilting in confusion. Wanda laughs waving her hand.
“Please do- she can’t stop looking at you anyhow.” Wanda sipping her wine. Stephen laughed lightly before guiding Y/n away from the party and into a secluded area- the idea of secluded area was the furthest bathroom away from the party. He brought her inside closing the door behind them before slamming her against the door. His look was full of lust- the teasing was too much for him at this point. Her eyes widen when he pushed her against the door. His hand on her lower stomach and his other on her cheek- his face was close to hers. He watched as she bit her lower lip nervously but a small smirk wanted to escape.
“Ah so you’re breaking huh?” She giggled lightly moving her leg in between his thighs, rubbing her foot up and down his leg. Stephen breath hitched moving his hand to place on the wall besides her head.
“You know I can show you what I do to naughty girls.” He purred lightly his heart beating against his chest not believing his own words that fell out of his mouth.
“Me naughty no-“ Stephen smashed his lips against hers before she can come back with a sarcastic and bratty comment. She almost gasped loudly at the contact but instead she decided to move her hands to his hair gripping onto it like her life depended on it. He groaned into the kiss his hands moving down to her waist gripping tightly which made a quick squeak escape her lips. He pulled back before immediately attacking her neck creating small love bites on her neck and making his way down to her chest. She moaned tugging on his hair roughly. “I want to go slow… but I cannot wait- don’t want people to be suspicious now do we?” He mumbled against her skin before turning her around to face the wall a gasp escaping her lips.
“N-No I guess not.” She whimpered, he chuckled deeply his hands on her hip. He ran his hand up and down her bare legs.
“Was this short dress for me love?” He smirked in cocky way. She chewed on her bottom lip at the way he caressed her legs, moving his hand between her thighs getting dangerously close.
“Maybe…” she squeaked. He just chuckled darkly before hitching up the dress to show her lacey black underwear.
“Oh my darling- as much as I love these. They need to be gone.” He growled before ripping off her underwear- which caused her to gasp loudly when he did so. The pool between her legs starting to become even more wet- if that was possible. “Look at you dripping for me darling girl.” He cooed. She blushed deeply trying to close her legs but he immediately kicked them apart. “No, keep them spread.” He purred- she heard the sound of him unbuckling his belt and unzipping his pants which made her mouth go dry. She didn’t have much time to think as he shoved his hard cock inside of her tight pussy. She moaned loudly her hands going in front of her on the door to support herself.
“Fuck!” She shouted- Stephen chuckled gripping onto her hips as slowly moved himself in and out of trying to get to adjust to his size- her pussy was delightful was warm, tight and delicious.
“Baby girl- you are the most delightful thing I’ve ever had.” He groaned. “Think you’re fully ready for me?”
“D-Don’t hold back. N-need.” She stuttered gasping at every thrust- he was hitting her g-spot just right; everytime he would pull back slowly and then push himself inside of her just right. It made her mouth just water at the way he knew what he was doing. Both of their heads snapped when the door knob started turning. “Someone’s in-“ Stephen chuckles quietly before thrusting himself harder in her. “H-here!” She looked back and shot him a glare at his cocky face. He was loving this.
“Oh I’m sorry lady y/n! We were just looking for you!” Thors voice booms through the door. Y/n hitched a breath when Stephen started increasing his pace- that same cocky look on his face. She tried to calm down her uncontrollable breathing, trying not to slur out profanities and moans.
“N-No it’s okay! I’ll b-be out soon!” She was able to gasp out but it wasn’t helping that Stephen moved one of his hands to massage her very sensitive breast over her dress.
“Are you okay in there lady y/n?” Thor asks in concern. Y/n felt the tears threatening to come out of her eye pocket- not out of pain no out of pure pleasure. Stephen moved his hand to push the hair out of the way of her neck to place gentle kisses as he continued to pound into her his grip on her hip never leaving.
“I’m fine! I’ll be out soon Thor! Please!” She exclaimed her hand on the door scratching lightly throwing her head back- making Stephen wrap his hand around her neck.
“Alright alright- I’ll tell your father that you’ll be out there soon.” Thor laughs- she hears his footsteps walk away. Stephen laughed a bit gripping her neck more.
“Good girl.” He cooed making her pussy tighten around his hard cock making him grunt in the process. “Now sweetheart we’ve gotta make this fast- prepare yourself.” She nods not being able to make any sentences- but moan. He moved his hand down back to her hips; before forcing her hips to hit more into him. He rocked his hips against her- her moans sounded like pure bliss in his ears. The sound of skin and skin smacking together. He threw his head back grunting and moaning feeling himself close to the edge; and he knew she was too- with the way she was clenching around him.
“Fuck Stephen. I’m so close please.” She moaned out. Stephen grinned moving his head down to her ear kissing and nibbling her ear gently.
“Cum for me baby girl.” He mutters- as soon as those words escaped his lips. She screamed loudly her juices cumming around his cock. He smirked before going faster getting him closer to his edge. He gasped loudly before spilling his seed inside of her(god he hoped she was on the pill or something) he lazily placed his head on her back finishing himself out. He pulls out of her groaning at the loss of contact. He watched as his seed dripped down her leg- with the swish of his hand he removed and cleaned the seed off of her. She turned around to face him- her face flushed as she fixed her hair.
“You lost.” She hummed- he chuckled lightly placing his hand on her cheek before placing a soft peck on her lips.
“And I’ll lose a 1000 times over if it means that I get to do that as many times as I can.” He muttered. She giggled lightly picking up her underwear from the ground. He started fixing himself up- buckling his pants back on.
“If you’re cool with it- I never want this to stop.” She flirted before shoving her underwear in his pocket. “Now we should get back huh?” Stephen smiled lightly tracing her lips with his thumb.
“I was hoping you would say that; but yes we should probably get back.” He laughed gently- she giggled as well before opening up the door.
“Wait for a bit and then come out.” She said turning to look back at him. He nods smacking her ass in the process.
“So commanding my love.” She rolled her eyes before leaving Stephen alone in the bathroom. She walked back into the party- still seeing everyone was here. Tony looked over at his daughter- he walked over to her a drink in his hand.
“Where were you?” He asked titling his head at her -sipping his drink. She tried not to blush, and bit her bottom lip.
“Bathroom.” She muttered trying to turn away from him. Tony scrunched his eyebrows grabbing his daughter’s wrist pulling her back and when he did she saw the hickeys on her neck- more like covered all over her neck.
“Who the flying f put that on your neck!” Tony roared eyes widen- thinking of his daughter that way made him internally angry and mad. Y/n tried to look in his eye-line but then mentally face palmed herself. Fuck. Stephen soon shortly came walking in the same direction she had which had Tony look over. His face was red- when the dots connected. “Stephen Strange!”
Uh this was not going to be a fun conversation for any of them.
Let me know what you think! You dirty little hoes 🫡🥰

Aftermath of a Mission
Peter Parker x Stark!Reader
Summary: y/n and Peter are used to decompressing after a mission together. This time, it isn’t so easy. What happens when they both have to figure it outout on their own?
warnings: crying, some angst, accidental pulling out of hair, slight ptsd
——————————————————————————
Exhausted. Aching. Bored. I couldn’t focus on a word that Dr. Banner was saying during our debrief. All I could do was sit back and stare at the wall until it was over.
I wasn’t even sure why I had to attend these meetings as I wasn’t technically even an Avenger. My dad insisted that I sit in because it’ll be useful to me in the future.
I tapped my foot, checking my watch, anxious to leave the conference room. I glanced across the table to my best friend, who looked just as exhausted as I felt. I definitely zoned out looking at him, because the next thing I noticed was him looking back at me with furrowed eyebrows, as if asking what’s wrong.
I let out a yawn in response, shooting a glance at the door and hoping he could read my thoughts. I just wanted to get out of there.
Missions can be fun sometimes, but the recovery is most certainly not. I’d typically spend about a day in bed before I could finally start functioning as a normal human being again. Usually that day in bed is spent with my best friend.
It started after a particularly rough mission about a year ago. Peter wasn’t even going out with us yet at that point, but he had just been sick— and we both desperately needed rest. I had gotten a minor injury to my ribs, and Peter being the sweetest best friend in the world decided to come check on me and bring me ice. He ended up falling asleep next to me for about 15 hours. My dad threw a tantrum.
Ever since then— as long as we’re sneaky enough— it has become a habit for us after we come back from missions. And maybe a few other occasions as well.
It was just easier to sleep next to someone else. Especially after the mental and emotional strain that missions bring. Being with someone who brings you comfort makes all the difference.
I swear I was already half asleep by the time the meeting finally ended, moving extra slowly as I got up and exited the room. I latched onto Peter's arm, leaning most of my body weight on him as we headed to the elevators.
Steve and Nat stayed behind, somehow still having more to discuss. They were nuts.
We entered the elevator with my dad and Thor. They each pressed their respective buttons, going to the floors of the compound that their rooms were on. I reached out as well, pressing the level 3 button for my room.
My dad stood up straight, moving in front of the elevator panel before glancing over at us and speaking, "Where you headed, Pete?"
Peter didn't have a real room at the compound yet, so he really should've been headed to the showers on level 1. Although, for the past year he has just been showering in my bathroom- not to my dad's knowledge of course.
"Uh-mm," he choked out smoothly.
I shook my head, speaking for him, "He's just going to shower in my bathroom, dad."
I could feel Peter tense against me, clearly afraid of my dad's reaction.
My father dramatically turned his head, using his palm to bang on his ear a couple times, before removing his ear piece all together and saying, "I'm sorry, I must have misheard you. It sounded like you just said that Spider-boy is showering in your bathroom."
I rolled my eyes, sighing, about to speak back when Thor spoke up, "Ah, Stark, let them have their fun. On Asgard I had many women bathing in my chambers by that age." He said, patting my father on the back.
I rolled my eyes, knowing Thor's comment is no help at all.
My father shook his head, facing me and sticking a scolding finger out at me, "You are not showering with your little boyfriend under my roof. Understood?"
I blushed, hating his phrasing. The elevator stopped, and Thor stepped forward, nodding awkwardly to us before exiting.
When the doors closed again, I rolled my eyes, turning to my father again, "First of all, we're not showering together," I said, using air quotes, "And second, he isn't my boyfriend. It's just easier to have someone there after these missions, you know that better than anyone, dad."
I crossed my arms, awaiting his response.
He shook his head, "Nope. Not today, kid. Pete, I'll escort you to the first floor showers."
The elevator door dinged, and it was my turn to leave. I glanced up at Peter, hoping that he would find a way to come back to my room later. He gave me a nervous look, so I wasn't too sure he would.
I squeezed his hand, exiting the elevator without looking back, but I could hear my dad mumbling something about "no spider-babies" as I walked away.
After a much-needed, very refreshing shower, I sat on my bed in my towel, feeling the weight of the past few days lingering over me like a storm cloud, ready to let loose at any moment.
Usually after missions Peter and I would immediately come to my room, and everyone was too exhausted to even pay attention. Today however, the debrief had taken so long that there was no easy way for us to come back together.
It felt lonely. I had a heavy feeling of emptiness in my heart. I hadn’t realized how much I’d gotten used to his presence at times like these. Even with the winding down after we got back— he had always been there. We’d sit in eachother’s comfortable silence, he’d comb my hair for me, we’d patch up eachother’s wounds, and then we’d fall asleep together.
I was embarrassed by how much this was affecting me. I was a Stark, I should’ve been okay being alone. And yet, I could feel tears stinging my eyes as I sat there, trying to comb out my own hair. My hands were shaking from a mixture of fatigue and frustration, making it even more difficult to get through the knots. Peter had always been so gentle.
My comb got stuck on a particularly tough knot. I tugged, causing clump of hair to come out, and I couldn’t hold back anymore. I instantly started sobbing.
I could feel my body trembling, desperately needing sleep and desperately needing company. I threw on the first clothes that I could find, knowing I looked crazy, and headed out into the hall in search of my best friend.
I cried, wiping my tears with the sleeves of my shirt, and shifted uncomfortably with the feeling of wet hair on my back. I felt overstimulated if the feeling of overstimulation was on steroids and a red bull.
I heard footsteps from the other end of the hall, and I sniffled, my voice cracking as I called out, “Peter?”
I felt pain in the side of my head, and I reached up to be reminded of the broken strands of hair that were now hanging sadly to the side. I sobbed again.
I didn’t hear a response, so I called out again, “Peter?”
Peter didn’t round the corner. Bucky did. I wiped my tears, knowing that I looked like a mess, and attempted to force a smile at him.
He frowned, running his hand through his own wet hair. “Oh, sweetheart, what’s wrong?” He asked gently, reaching out to me.
I immediately felt the lump in my throat grow as tears began streaming down my face again. I didn’t trust my words, so I just shook my head, looking at the ground.
“Do you want me to find Peter?” He asked gently, resting his hand on my shoulder.
I nodded, swallowing hard and trying to find my words. “Please,” I whispered.
He nodded, stepping forward to wrap me in a hug. I cried into his shoulder. It did give me a sense of comfort to be with anyone at this point. I knew I was just so over exhausted that my feelings were all messed up, but I knew I really needed Peter.
Bucky rubbed my back, trying his best to comfort me before slowly pulling away. “You gonna be okay if I go look for Peter?”
I nodded, wiping my tears again and said, “Thanks, Bucky. You’re the best.”
He smiled sadly, nodding and turned back to the elevator— hopefully in search of Peter. I didn’t care if the whole compound knew how much of a mess I was at this point if it meant he would come find me.
I walked back to my room, and the tears stopped. I felt numb, and exhausted. I left the comb on my nightstand. I couldn’t deal with that now. I turned off my lights and crawled into bed, shivering with pain— physical and emotional.
I’m not sure how long I layed there. It might’ve been five minutes, it might’ve been fifteen, but eventually I heard my door open and close quietly, and soft footsteps entered the room.
I felt the covers lift up, and the bed dipped next to me. I immediately sighed with relief, feeling his arms wrap around me. I could hear his breath shaking, and I pushed him back slightly, trying to see his face in the dark.
“What’s wrong baby?” I whispered, reaching behind me to turn on my lamp. My heart broke when I saw tears on his face, and I could see his expression drop even more when he looked into my swollen eyes.
He grabbed my hands, pulling me close and whispered, “I didn’t realize how much I’d gotten used to being with you after a mission,” he took a deep breath, trying to steady his breathing, “then Bucky found me when I was talking to your dad and he told me you needed me and I kind of lost it. You know that thing that happens when my senses freak out? It was like that but ten times worse.” I nodded feeling tears start to fall again when his voice cracked, “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry I wasn’t here.”
I shook my head, taking his face in my hands. “It’s okay, Pete, it’s okay. Are you doing okay now?”
He nodded, tucking his face into my hand. “I’m okay. Are you okay?”
I nodded, laughing and lifting one of my hands off of his face to find my broken section of hair. “I accidentally took some of my hair out.”
Instead of laughing, his face dropped in concern, and he then reached his own hands out to hold my face, “Oh, baby, I’m so sorry I wasn’t here.”
I shook my head, finding comfort in the warmth of his hands on my face, “You’re here now, it’s okay.”
He nodded, moving close and pressing a soft kiss to my forehead. I smiled, and closed my eyes at the soft gesture of affection.
When he pulled away, I opened my eyes and furrowed my eyebrows, realizing I must’ve missed something. “How’d you get my dad to let you up here?” I asked.
He sighed, “After Bucky told us how he found you, then I went into sensory overload, he kinda just sent me off.”
I raised my eyebrows in surprise, but didn’t respond.
“I think it hurt him,” Peter said, “hearing how upset you were.”
I nodded, yawning and moving closer to rest my head on his chest and he wrapped his arms around me. I finally felt safe again, and I felt a warm sensation in my chest.
Peter kissed the top of my head, whispering, “Get some sleep, angel.”
I nodded, hesitating for just a second. I knew what I wanted to say, we’d just never said it out loud before. I never knew if it was crossing the line past being just friends, but after today I didn’t care. I needed him to know.
“I love you, Peter.” I whispered, hugging him tightly.
“I love you too.” He answered without hesitation, hugging me back.
I smiled, sitting up to look at him, taking his face in my hands again.
“I love you,” I whispered again, seeing him smile as well.
“I love you, baby,” he whispered back, leaning into my touch.
Without thinking any more, I leaned in, pressing a soft kiss on his lips. When I pulled away, he was smiling at me with such a look of adoration that I almost teared up again.
I was about to lay back on his chest and go to sleep, but he gently took my face in his hands, returning another soft kiss to my lips. When we pulled away, we both blinked hard, looking at each other with so much love.
Finally, I laid my head back on his chest and we both fell into a deep sleep. It was almost fifteen hours later that I was awaken to my dad bursting into the room, saying, “Just because I was fine with it doesn’t mean you need to sleep together for fifteen hours. Get out Spider-boy.”

Nighttime Troubles
----------------------------------------------------------------
Summary: Y/N having trouble sleeping with out their dad while their other parents try to calm them down and get Tony back in bed.
Note: Gn!Reader, around 3 years old. Yes Soap is the name of her sheep plushie, because i love my Soapie to much and he needed to be in my story.
Art/picture is from Pinterest, credits go to whoever made it. I just put it together like this.
Translations: Dorogoy = Sweetheart (And expensive, for some reason, if you know why this is please tell me. Translate is weird.)
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Y/N was having a rough couple of nights, the nightmares they had were getting too much for their little mind. Feeling so many big feelings and seeing scary things in their dreams. This didn’t bother the Avengers however, they all loved the little koala. Their koala was a bit of all of them. Their little miracle in life, their light. After defeating Loki everything went pretty fast for the Avengers and just 2 years later they got married, all 6 of them (Tony bribed the minister and the person that would approve the paperwork) and in 2015 their little koala was born.
Natasha was walking Y/N around the master bedroom, shushing them as she bounced them a bit in her arms. “shhhh, Dorogoy, it’s okay momma is here. No more nightmares, shhh.” She whispered to the little one as Thor came back into the room with a few extra plushies from Y/N’s room. “I didn’t know which one they would want, so i got them all.” Clint laughed a bit and grabbed the little sheep plushie from the stack in Thor’s arm. “This one, Soap, remember this one Thor. Soap is the favorite.” Natasha rolled her eyes and kissed Y/N’s cheeks.
After a few minutes Steve was done warming up Y/N’s bottle and quickly made his way back to the bedroom. “Any progress?” He asked worriedly as he handed Natasha the bottle. “No, not yet, Bruce is still trying to get Tony to come to bed, but he’s probably dealing with his own nightmares.” Clint answered. They all knew that Y/N slept the best between Bruce and Tony. Probably because they liked being in a science sandwich and Bruce and Tony were the warmest out of the parents. Natasha yawned as she sat down on the bed with Y/N. “Thor? Do you still have that story book somewhere? that one with both folktales and fairytales?” She asked, hoping that reading to Y/N would calm them down.
“Yes! I’ll grab it and read to the little one!” Thor cheered as he walked over to the book shelf and grabbed the book Natasha mentioned. He went to the bed and sat next to Natasha and Y/N before starting to read in the soft tone he only used with Y/N. “This one is called ‘The Forest Bride’. There was once a farmer who had three sons,” Thor read to Y/N, and secretly Natasha. Y/N wasn't crying anymore as they suckled on their bottle while listening to Thor reading their favorite story.
Steve and Clint smiled at the three of them on the bed. “I’ll go check on Bruce and Tony.” Steve said before stepping away from Clint. Sadly Steve jinxed it, Bruce walked into the bedroom. Clint gave Bruce a worried look and opened his arms for him. Bruce walked defeated into Clint’s arms. “I tried, he just won’t listen to me right now. He’s scared to go to bed and then hurt Y/N if he wakes up” Bruce explained quietly. Steve sighed. “I'm going to talk to him, this is the biggest load of bull shit i’ve ever heard, and that is saying a lot.” he fumed before leaving the bedroom.
Bruce looked over at the bed and saw Natasha asleep against Thor with Y/N on her lap. Thor was still reading the story to their koala. Clint looked down at Bruce. “Wanna go sit with them?” Bruce nodded and Clint smiled as he helped Bruce to the bed. He made sure Natasha, Bruce and Y/N were okay with Thor, who was now happily reading the next story in the book, before following after Steve.
When Clint was close to the lab he could hear Steve and Tony yelling at each other. He walked around the corner and saw Tony tinkering on one of his suites while Steve yelled from Bruce’s desk.
“Just don’t Steve, just don’t, okay? I am not going to bed!” Tony hissed as he slammed down his screwdriver. “No, I won't let you stay up like this. You have to sleep, you need sleep to function. How are you supposed to take care of yourself or Y/N if you are not sleeping, not well rested. You know it's safe in the bedroom, you know you won’t hurt us or Y/N. You know damn well that you are just running away right now!” Before Steve could say more Clint put a hand on his back and gave him a look.
Tony looked over at Steve when he didn’t continue his rant. He saw Clint by Steve's side, he let out a big sigh before responding. “I think I know my own health better than you do Star Spangled Banner. Now leave me alone! I do not need this! I do not need sleep. I do not need you, or anyone else to take care of me! I am fine!” He yelled at both his husbands. He didn’t need them, didn't need to be told he wasn't actually doing fine, but even with a few years of therapy and loving partners, Tony could still fall back into old habits.
Clint tried to reach out for Tony, tried to tell him he was wrong but yelling came from the hallway before he could. A very angry Natasha, followed by Thor and Bruce came Into the lab. Y/N in her arms. “Anthony Edward Stark! Hold your child!” She hissed before handing Y/N over to Tony. Y/N reached out for Tony and he reluctantly took them from Natasha. “Daddy…” Y/N whispered into Tony's shoulder. This broke Tony a bit, not just a bit, but more than he liked to admit.
“I… I think I might need some help… And Someone to take care of me and take me too bed…” Tony admits as he held the little koala. Natasha smiled and grabbed onto Tony's arms. “Let's get you two to bed. Thor will continue his story and you two can cuddle with Bruce. We'll deal with the rest tomorrow” Natasha said before leading Tony away from his work.
Soon after both Y/N and Tony were on the big bed. Thor reads more of his stories to Y/N, and the others. As Bruce held Tony close with Y/N in between their science sandwich. Y/N was already fast asleep when Thor finished the first story. With Natasha following shortly after. Clint was the next one to fall asleep, somewhere between story three and four, happily in Steve’s arms. Thor fell asleep while reading after Steve fell asleep. But Tony stayed awake, like Bruce. Him keeping an eye on Tony.
“Want to talk about it?” Bruce asked Tony, he was worried. “Not right now. Is that okay? we will talk about this later?” Tony answered to which Bruce pulled him closer, letting Tony be the little spoon. “Yeah, that is okay. But we are going to talk about this, because we are worried and want to help you, because we love you. Just like we love this little koala.” Bruce said before fixing Y/N’s hair a bit. “Just let us help you like you always want to help them.” Tony nodded his head slowly before kissing Y/N’s head. “We’ll talk after I slept for more than 6 hours.”
“Just close your eyes” Bruce whispered before he felt a small kick against his back. “Go to sleep” Steve whisper yelled tiredly. Y/N hugged Tony’s arm and snored a bit as Bruce and Tony finally closed their eyes to sleep.
<--------------------------------------------------------->
Somewhere in the middle of the night Soap, the sheep plushie, fell out of the bed. This was quickly noticed by Y/N who started to wiggle out of the science sandwich. they crawled to the end of the bed and reached over the end towards Soap. they almost had the plushie before losing balance. With a small thud they fell off the bed and hit their bum on the floor.
Loud crying woke everyone but Clint, he didn’t wake up since he didn't have his hearing aid on. Yes he forgot to take them out after falling asleep next to Thor and the battery was now dead. Steve was the first to get to Y/N he picked up the little one and the sheep. “shhh, baby doll, it’s okay. Daddy is here, shhh, you’re safe in daddy’s arms.” Steve whispered to Y/N. Thor shifted over to Steve and Y/N and carefully took them from Steve. He gently put Y/N underneath his nightshirt and held them and Soap against his chest.
Thor always thought Y/N was given extra sensitive and given bigger emotions by the gods then normal people, or Asgardians. They were he’s sensitive little angel, who needed a lot of touch to feel safe and deal with the big emotions and feelings. “There we go little poptart. Nice and warm with pappa, no one can hurt you here.” Thor rubbed Y/N’s back as he took them back to the bed. Steve smiled at Thor and how comfortable Y/N looked against him. “Owh look at you, are you comfy with pappa?” Natasha asked the sleepy toddler when Thor lay down next to her. Y/N nodded their head and stuck their thumb into their mouth.
“So no need for a science sandwich anymore I see. Well i'll be back in the lab if you all need me” Tony announced and tried to walk past Bruce and Steve. Only for Steve to grab Tony by his shirt collar and pulls him back towards him and Bruce. “You need sleep, Tony. Back in bed.” Steve said in a stern but caring tone. “Or what?” Tony tried. “Or I will lock the lab and you won’t be able to go in until we think you can go in again. No more new Ironman suites or weird nicknacks. No more Peter Parker coming over for his ‘internship’.” Steve answered. The thing about not doing fun science things with Peter did it and Tony walked back to the bed. Tony liked (Loved) Peter too much, some might say he was his son.
Bruce and Steve made it back to the bed and lay down besides the others. Y/N was already fast asleep again underneath Thor’s shirt. Clint was still asleep and snoring as Natasha cuddled up to him. The others pulled the covers back up and snuggled up before going back to sleep. Tony did try to sneak out of bed again once when he thought everyone was sleeping. only for Steve to pull Tony back onto the bed and hold him against him.

Obsessed
Summary: Your crush on Bucky may be getting out of control.
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x F!Reader
Warnings: Dramatic Reader. Language. Angst. Fluff. My poor attempts at being Funny.
Word Count: 1.4K I'm physically incapable of making anything short.
A/N: I wrote this in like 2 hours and I don't even know what this is, just... Yeah.
Masterlist
This is terrible.
This is the worst thing that's ever happened to you.
This is the worst thing that's ever happened to anyone. It's just the most horrible, dreadful, awful thing that could’ve ever happen to yo-
“Would you stop staring at him for fuck's sakes!” Natasha's hissed words make your eyes snap to her and finally away from the metal armed Supersoldier lifting weights. Shirtless.
You don't know when Bucky stopped feeling self-conscious enough to allow him to workout in nothing but a pair of gym shorts, but it has become literal torture for you.
Needless to say, Bucky's current level of undress is making it impossible for you to concentrate on the stretching you're supposed to be doing before your sparring match with Natasha.
But your very thoughtful and not at all exasperated friend makes sure to keep your attention on her during the entirety of our match by thoroughly kicking your ass.
What a lovely best friend you have.
Anyways.
Your entire mood shifts with one not intentionally overheard conversation. Steve enters the gym and goes straight to Bucky, who was putting his weight set down.
“She’s here!” Is all the blonde says to his friend and your heart stops at the way Bucky’s face lights up with a smile, not needing any more information before following Steve out of the gym.
She’s here? Who the fuck is she? Does Bucky have a girlfriend? And most importantly, she’s here? In the Compound?
Natasha can almost see the gears turning in your brain as you make no attempts to move from the mat after she knocked you on your ass for the hundredth time today. You didn’t even seem to notice her hand offering you help to get up, your eyes still looking where Bucky was just a moment ago, staring at nothing in particular while your brain drowns in your overthinking.
Natasha sighs and decides to end the match here, kneeling down in front of you and placing her hands on your shoulders, shaking you gently to snap you out of it.
“Don’t overthink this.” She tells you when she’s sure she has your attention. “It’s probably just a friend visiting.” She tries to comfort you, but you both know that’s highly unlikely.
Bucky has no other friends outside the team. He doesn’t know how to talk to civilians anymore after everything he’s been through, and gave up trying to after the hundredth time he saw fear in a person’s eyes just by recognizing him. So his friend circle now includes the team and the agents of SHIELD that are not intimidated by him. Point is, every friend he has already lives in the Compound.
So who the fuck is here just to see him?
Natasha can see that this is a lost battle, your eyes barely concentrating on her as you start drowning in your mind again. All she can do when you’re like this is try to distract you and keep you out of your head. So she takes your hand and helps you up, leading the way to the common room to watch one of your beloved romcoms together, because that’s how much she loves you.
Big mistake.
“Y/N! Y/N!” The excited high-pitched voice came just seconds after you set foot in the common room. And that’s about the only warning you got before the excited 5-year-old jumped on you, your reflexes thankfully quick enough to catch her.
“Hi, Maguna!” You say while chuckling as the little girl hugs you. “You seem excited today. Did you get into the sugar cabinet again?”
Morgan giggles at your joke and shakes her hand before taking your face in her little hands and dramatically saying, “No! A princess came to visit uncle Bucky! A real princess.”
You frown, confused at what she’s talking about, before you look around the room and finally notice everyone else in it. Pepper and Tony are on the couch, looking at you lovingly as you interact with their daughter.
You love Morgan, she’s like a little sister. You never miss an opportunity to babysit her and you spend as much time with her as you can. She also loves you, out of all the Avengers you’re her favorite, much to everyone’s dismay. She calls them all ‘aunt’ and ‘uncle’, but you’re just Y/N. You’re her big sister, you don’t need a title. Which is why you're the only one other than Tony allowed to call her 'Maguna'.
Then you notice the other people in the room: Steve, Bucky and… Shuri. The fucking Princess of Wakanda, standing in the common room of the Avengers Compound and just smiling at you as you carry Morgan.
You’ve never met Shuri, but you know she played an important part in deprogramming the Winter Soldier out of Bucky, and you’re grateful to her for it. She’s important to Bucky, and you can’t believe you forgot Bucky has Wakandan friends.
You put Morgan down on the ground again and the little girl takes your hand and aggressively steers you towards where Steve, Bucky and Shuri are standing, clearly thrilled to be in the presence of a real life princess.
“Hi, I’m Shuri.” She offers you her hand when you get close enough and you shake it with your free hand while introducing yourself.
There’s a bit of an awkward pause and you’re about to say the first thing that pops into your head when Morgan thankfully saves you by pulling on your hand, making you look at her. She tells you to come close and, chuckling, you kneel beside her so she can whisper conspiratorially in your ear.
“She’s a princess and she’s really pretty, but I still like you better.” She whispers and you can’t help but laugh.
God, you love this little girl.
You smile brightly at her and launch a tickle attack, her adorable giggles filling the room as everyone looks at you two with warm smiles.
Your attention is solely on Morgan, until you unintentionally hear the whispered conversation between Shuri and Bucky.
“So, this is the girl, huh? She’s pretty.” Shuri says and your heart skips a beat.
You glance at them as discreetly as you can while still tickling Morgan, only to find Bucky looking at someone behind you. You turn around less carefully and see Sharon just entered the room, and she's also looking at Bucky with a smirk. You quickly return your attention to Morgan, but your mind is going a thousand miles a minute.
Of course he’d like someone more like Sharon. She’s pretty, she’s talented, she’s a total badass and she’s not afraid to go after what she wants.
She’s not a mass of anxiety in the shape of a woman that overthinks everything and becomes a flustered mess every time she’s even near Bucky.
It’s time to admit it to yourself: Bucky just doesn’t see you like that and you need to move on.
Natasha is right, your obsession with Bucky needs to end.
What you don’t see is Bucky almost glaring at Sharon because he knows damn well why she’s smirking. She came in just before Shuri whispered to Bucky, when he was very intent on looking at you with heart eyes as you played with Morgan.
Just before you looked at him, Bucky noticed Sharon and he had to hold in a groan at her because he knows that she’s never gonna let him live this down.
Both Sharon and Steve have tried really hard to convince Bucky that you like him back and he should make a move on you. But Bucky, being as stubborn as they come, never believes them.
He obviously makes you uncomfortable, you’re always stuttering when he’s around and you avoid eye contact whenever possible. He’s just glad that you can stand his presence enough for the two of you to work together when necessary and to hang out with the rest of the team without problems.
So he just enjoys looking at you from a distance. He loves watching you play with Morgan and his thoughts always run wild with images of you playing like that with kids that are yours and his.
But he knows that’s never going to happen. Why would you like a damaged, PTSD ridden soldier that can’t even make it through the night without waking up from a nightmare? No, that’s definitely not your type.
Bucky accepts the truth: He doesn’t deserve you and you don’t see him like that anyways.
It doesn’t matter that Sam thinks he’s obsessed, that won’t stop him from looking at you whenever he’s lucky enough to get a glimpse of his little ray of sunshine.

being Tony Stark's controversially young gf.... I would be so annoying I fear. Calling him "old man", asking him to buy you stuff bc he's so rich (asking him if he can't afford it when he says no), winking at paparazzi when they catch you together... And getting put in your place when the brattiness gets out of control ofc 💋
mmmmhmhmhm the little bit of toxicity here is exactly what i was looking for <333 being spoiled and bratty and demanding that he buy you things and then when he says no 'asking him if he can't afford it' OOOH YEAH.. ugh i can just imagine the paparazzi going insane over y'all and you see so much online about him 'taking advantage of younger girls' but you're pretty sure you're taking advantage of him the way he swipes his card whenever you ask him to >:) and of course you let him fuck you stupid but sometimes you act like it's such a chore, like you'd rather be anywhere else and that's when he snaps and grabs your face in a bruising grip, refusing to let go until you blabber that you love him. he won't say it back.

That's How You Know
Pairing: Tony x Reader Word count: 4,003
Read on AO3
You leaned your head on Nat’s shoulder, the two of you watching some comedy in an effort to cheer you up. You’d broken up with your long time boyfriend just the day before. And it sucked. The two of you had been together most of your twenties. Now, at 28, you were nursing a broken heart, eating a pint of ice cream, and cuddling your super-spy best friend.
“Miss, Mr. Stark is inquiring if you’d like take out from your favorite restaurant for dinner this evening.” Came JARVIS’s voice.
Hearing that, you smiled softly. “Tell him yes, and thank you.” You agreed easily.
Nat smirked at you. “You know he loves you, right?” She pointed out. “I mean, it’s really obvious.” She chuckled. “He just never actually said it because you were dating that asshat.”
You shifted to look at her. “What the hell are you talking about?” You asked, confused. “A- Tony doesn’t love me, and B- he wasn’t an asshat until the last like...month.” You muttered in defence of your ex.
“You are so blind. And he clearly thinks we are, too.” She was amused. “Look, I’d tell you to just go kiss the man, but I’ll be nice and let you get over your ex before pushing you together and going ‘now kiss’.” She smirked, making you stare at her. “You’ll see.” She said confidently. “Now, let’s finish this movie.”
It had been six months since that conversation with Nat, and you’d pushed it from your mind. However, you were out with her, Wanda, and Pepper, which meant drinks. It made it difficult not to think about the handsome inventor. Just as you were thinking of him, your phone went off.
Nat looked over your shoulder and smirked. “Awe, he’s worried about you!” She chuckled as you playfully shoved her away. “He is seriously texting you just to tell you that you’re on his mind, but he wanted a reason, so he pulled the ‘be safe’ card.” She downed another shot. “And, you’re right. That would be a warning for some pour perv to mess with any of us.”
You rolled your eyes. “Whatever.” You put your phone away, going back to your drink.
“So, who’s the mystery man?” Wanda grinned. “Do we know him? Oh! Is it that cute agent?” You raised an eyebrow at her. There were a few cute agents. “I think his name is Paul? Such an unsexy name for such a nice face.” She mumbled. “Spill the beans.”
You were about to shut this entire conversation down when Nat spoke up. “It’s Tony.” She said easily. “He’s had it bad for her for years.” She went on, making you put your head on the table. “She doesn’t believe it, but she’s the only one who got a ‘be safe’ text.” Nat chuckled, licking her lips. “And I see someone I’d like to be bad with tonight. Excuse me, ladies!” She slipped out of her chair and towards whoever had caught her eye.
Pepper rubbed over your shoulders. “Want me to get us some shots? Since Nat drank them all?” She chuckled.
Sitting up, you sighed, nodding. “Sure, I need one. Or five.” You shrugged. You didn’t want to believe Tony loved you. You didn’t want to admit you loved him, either. So, you’d get a bit drunk, and then go back to forgetting about it the next day.
Walking into your kitchen a couple weeks later, you were wearing an oversized sweater and leggings. It was a cold fall day, the skies were grey, and you planned on curling up with a book, and a cup of coffee. You had to do a double take. There, on your kitchen island, was a bouquet of sunflowers. That had not been there the night before. Walking to the table, you lifted the note that was placed in front of it.
I know you hate days like this. Here’s some flowers to brighten your day.
-Tony
You blushed, biting your lip. Once you set the note down, you went over to your coffee maker and decided you’d thank him by bringing him a cup. “JARVIS, is Tony in his labs?” You asked as you brewed your cup first. This way his would be hotter by the time you got to him.
“Yes, Miss. Do you need his assistance?” He asked.
“No, tell him I’ll be down shortly, though?”
Tony looked up when you walked in. His face lit up as he took the mug you held out for him. “Thank you for the flowers.” You smiled, leaning against a table. “I was not expecting those.” You chuckled before sipping your drink.
“Well, when I saw the sky, I knew you’d like them.” He shrugged a shoulder as if it was something just anyone would do. “And I remember you like sunflowers.” You’d told him once before when telling him a story about your life growing up. “And, you’re welcome.” He smiled. “Thank you for the coffee.” He held his mug up slightly for a moment. “I need it. Working on this damn bug.” He sighed.
You giggled, shaking your head. “I’ll let you get back to that.” You told him. “I’ll be in my room if you need me.”
He nodded. “Enjoy your book.” He smirked when you looked at him. “You’re going to crack your sliding glass door, curl up under the blanket I got you last year for Christmas, and read.” He teased.
You were just kicking off your boots after working on your Christmas shopping when your phone went off. You were assuming it was Nat, asking you to come to girl’s night, or to watch a movie. It was Saturday night, after all. However, your eyebrows shot up at it being Tony.
Letting out a sigh, you removed your coat and made your way back out of your door. Minutes later, you found yourself knocking on Nat’s. “Well, it wasn’t a break up, what’s that face for?” She raised an eyebrow, letting you in.
“Tony.” You shrugged as she shut the door. “Apparently, he wants me to be his plus one at some event. He’s known for two months, and it’s next Friday. He asked me today. Well, like, less than half an hour ago.”
“Yeah, we’re all going.” Nat shrugged. “Next Friday is his Christmas benefit for the kids.” She teased. “Did you honestly forget?” She laughed.
You blushed. “I’m sorry, I was too busy being shocked that he was asking me on a date.” You admitted. “At least I already have my dress then.” You noted. “Well, I’m here, want to watch a movie before I head home and start wrapping presents?” You asked.
She shrugged. “Sure, as long as you tell me what you got Tony.” She smirked.
“I haven’t gotten his yet. What the hell do you get the man that has everything?! Or could build it, or buy it.” You half whined as the two of you moved to get comfortable.
“Lingerie?” She asked.
“I never pegged him for the type of guy to wear that…” You mused, thinking it over. He was over the top, so you could honestly see it now that you thought about it.
Nat burst into laughter. “NO!” She was doubled over. “And it’s even funnier because you said ‘pegged’.” She wiped a tear from her cheek from laughing so hard. “No, I meant YOU wear it, and slap a bow on your ass. Pretty sure that would be what he wants.” She nudged you as your face turned a bright red.
“….Oh.” You managed.
Tony’s hand was on your lower back, his other hand holding yours. The pair of you were dancing, and there was a twinkle in his eye. “So, Nat is the one who pointed out that I already knew about tonight.” You blushed, making him chuckle. “She thought it was amusing. “Why didn’t you tell me?”
He shrugged a shoulder. “I thought it was cute. I made you so flustered that you forgot.” He smirked.
“Oh, really? And what if it’s because I had a long day of Christmas shopping for a super-spy, a super soldier, and an archer? Fully knowing my shopping wasn’t done yet.” You asked, an amused look on your face.
He gasped playfully. “And not the child-like billionaire?” He asked.
“Still trying to figure out what to get him.” You smiled. “It’ll come to me.” You promised.
Holding you close, he nodded. “I’m sure it will. Well, I’m done all my Christmas shopping, and I am sure that you will love your present.” He told you. “Nat helped.” He laughed as your face fell, turning pale. “I’m kidding! I’m kidding!” He grinned.
“So mean.” You leaned your head on his chest.
Minutes later, Steve came over. “May I cut it?” He asked.
You looked at him. “Sure, but I’m not sure which one of you would lead.” You chuckled.
“Funny, doll.” He smiled as he took your hand, causing Tony to pout. “Hey, Clint still wants a dance, so does Bucky, Thor, and Sam…” He teased the poor inventor, pulling you into his arms. “You look beautiful tonight.” He told you as Tony excused himself. “And he’s too easy to mess with.”
“Thank you. And he really is.” You giggled. “It’ll be even more fun come New Year’s when he’s drinking.” You smirked. “Then he’s really easy to get to.” You thought back to the previous year when, once he was drunk, you’d managed to convince him that he’d let you borrow his favorite car. And then ‘lost’ it. It didn’t last long, but his face was priceless.
Steve laughed, nodding. “Hopefully we get more pictures this year.”
“I’m sure we will.” You figured that Nat would be taking some to ‘prove’ that Tony was in love with you.
Much to your dismay, a mission came up.
On Christmas Eve.
Part of you expected Tony to pout, if you were being honest. Him, or Clint. Both were like giant children. Sitting on the Quinjet, you were talking with Wanda. While Steve got serious, some of you just relaxed, and others made a point to have a good time. Who knew if there’d be a mission someone didn’t come home from? Why make your last memories of them anything but happy?
Bucky nudged you. “Hey, doll?” He asked, making you look over. “You do most of the decorating, right?”
“Yeah, why?” You chuckled. “I have for years, but I ask you guys for help as needed. You know that.” You teased.
“Have you ever thought about putting stuff up in the Quinjet?” He was curious. “In case something like this happens. Why not make it festive in here, too?”
You thought about it for a minute. “I never thought about it. When I’m decorating for Christmas, the last thing on my mind is possibly deadly missions with my friends.” You shrugged. “I mean, I can try to remember next year?” You offered.
“It’s okay, I was honestly just curious. You’re like the elf of the tower.” He smirked. “It’s cute.” He winked. Nat smirked at him, shaking her head. She knew he was only doing it because Tony was close by. “I haven’t seen any mistletoe. Did you skip it this year?”
Bucky was all over the place it seemed, making you stare at him for a moment. “Uh, thanks?” You replied, unsure. “And you don’t remember when poor Steve had to kiss almost all of us? In the course of maybe two days? I thought I’d be nice and let him have a break from lip locking this year.” You chuckled as you saw Steve blush and hide his face. He had indeed kissed nearly everyone the year before. And he’d been sober for them all!
Tony looked over. “Who’s didn’t he end up kissing?” He asked, having been one of those that he had.
You put your hand up. “Me, and I think Bruce?” You told him. “I only kissed Nat, Bucky, and Clint.” You thought back.
Nat stuck her tongue out at him, teasing him that she’d kissed you and he hadn’t. “Shame you didn’t put them up again, I would have found a way to get you underneath the mistletoe again.” She winked at you playfully when you looked at her.
“Me, too.” Bucky admitted.
“And me.” Clint chimed in, even though no one knew that he was paying attention. He had his eyes closed, legs stretched out, crossed at the ankles, and his fingers laced together on his chest. “Especially with that body spray she only wears in the winter.” He added.
You chuckled. “You mean the one that smells like cupcakes?” You asked. It was received for once the snow started to fall, and was put away once it was over. Cupcakes reminded you of baking with your dad as a kid, and you’d always make cupcakes. So, it was a nice reminder when the days got shorter, and colder.
“You pay attention to her body spray?” Tony asked, surprised.
Before Clint could answer, JARVIS let them know they’d be arriving in under two minutes.
Your back was to a wall, your breathing coming out ragged. This was not as easy of a mission as you’d been hoping for. At the moment, you were actually hiding- not your proudest moment, either. Your leg had been shot, you had a split lip, you were sure you were sporting a shiner, and your shirt was sticking to you with blood. Some of it was yours, some of it wasn’t. You tried to push that thought from your mind as you closed your eyes. You nearly jumped when you heard Steve in your comm. “Y/N? You’re the only one not accounted for at the meetup.” His voice was firm, but the worry was there.
Clenching your jaw, you replied. “Yeah, uh, about that.” You started. “Seems I got a bit…injured…in the process of taking some guys out.” You hissed as you pressed against your leg.
It was Tony’s voice you heard next. “How bad is it? Can you get to us?” He asked quickly.
You sagged. “No, I can’t.” You hated having to rely on them during missions. You wanted to be able to hold your own. “I got shot in the thigh for starters.” You leaned your head back against a wall.
“For starters?!” Came a few voices, but you couldn’t pin point them all.
“Can one of you just come get me before I pass out?” You asked, pain radiating from your wounds. “That would be great!”
“On my way, doll.” Bucky spoke up. “Keep talking to me.” He told you, hoping to distract you from your pain. “Let me know where you are.”
You sighed. “Alright.” You agreed before telling him where to find you.
The rest of the team waited in the quinjet while Bucky rushed to get to you. They had moved from the meet up point before he’d left them, so that he knew where to find them. Tony kept his eyes on the entrance, jaw tight. “She’ll be fine.” Wanda told him. “It was her thigh. If anything, she’ll have to relax for a bit.” She shrugged. “Maybe I’ll ask her if she wants a movie marathon.”
“She’s in pain, Wanda.” He reminded her. “Bad enough she was worrying about passing out. That doesn’t sound fine to me.” He sighed, not looking at her. “At all.”
No one else bothered to try to calm him down, knowing it was useless. Until he saw you, he’d be worried. Then, it would shift to worry about you healing. People getting injured on missions was nothing new. It happened. They all knew that it bothered him so much more because it was you.
Once he spotted Bucky, you in his arms, he relaxed the tiniest bit. Your head was against Bucky’s shoulder, and your eyes were closed. “She passed out about halfway here.” He said softly, moving to lay you down. “Used my shirt as a tourniquet.” He explained, noting the raised eyebrow Nat was shooting his way. “I would have used hers, but…” He sighed, motioning to your blood stained shirt.
“JARVIS, get us home.” Tony demanded, watching Bruce start to work on you. He cut your shirt up the middle, showing that your stomach wounds weren’t as bad as the shirt made it look. That was a minor comfort to him, though. The worst of it was a gash closest to the top of your pants. Letting out a sigh, he hoped they could get you more comfortable back at the tower.
Groaning, you slowly opened your eyes to see Tony sitting there in a Y/F/C shirt. “When’d you get that?” You asked, licking your dry lips.
He looked up, grinning. “Uh, I had Nat go get it for me.” He chuckled. “Last night, while you were still out. I know it’s your favorite color.” He moved to sit on the side of your bed. “How’re you feeling?” He asked, taking your hand.
“Like I got hit by a bus.” You told him honestly. “I didn’t think I was that bad.” You admitted.
“I think that’s the drugs he gave you.” He shrugged. “The ‘good’ stuff.” He winked. “It’ll ease up, I’m sure.” He assured you. “Oh, and Wanda is currently finding nearly every Disney movie she can find.” You raised an eyebrow at him. “She thought it would be fun to have a movie marathon, and for some reason, she has her heart set on Disney.” He chuckled.
You smiled. “She’s sweet.” You said softly. “Can I count on you to join us for a couple?” You asked shyly.
“I wouldn’t miss it for anything.” He promised you, kissing your forehead. “Now, I’ll let Bruce check you out while I go order dinner.” He got up. “My place, or here?” He teased.
“Depends on what the doctor says.” You chuckled. “See you for dinner.”
Bruce had said it was okay for you to leave, but walking wasn’t happening. That left you to either use a wheelchair, or be carried. You couldn’t use crutches, as that would stretch your stomach, and that would pull on the stitches on your lower stomach. You’d gone with the wheelchair (even if Bucky and Steve volunteered to carry you).
Rolling out of the elevator onto Tony’s floor, you smiled when you saw Pepper. “Hey.” You greeted her.
She turned. “Y/N!” She smiled. “I’m so glad you’re okay. Tony told me what happened.” She said, coming over to hug you. “How’re you feeling?” She asked gently.
“Well, I’m not in a ‘hospital’ bed anymore, so much better.” You joked. “Oh, since I don’t know when we’re doing the whole Christmas exchange thing, you can go get your present? I know you go see family, too.” You smiled. “My presents are in a box on my living room floor. Yours is in a medium sized box.”
“I think I’d rather wait to do mine with everyone else.” She told you. “Even if it’s not until after the New Year. You guys are my family, too.” She reminded you.
Tony came in, making you attempt to turn your wheelchair. “I hate this thing.” You muttered, getting stuck half way.
“Pepper, can you roll her to the living room?” He asked, hands full of food. “I’ll get everything set up.” He told her, smiling.
She nodded, getting behind you. “I know you’d rather roll yourself, but don’t argue.” She said before you could say you could do it yourself. When you sighed, she chuckled, and started pushing you. “Looks cozy in here.” She looked around. Tony had a blanket and pillows in front of the fire place.
“Thanks, Pepper.” He said, putting everything down. “I can take it from here.” He moved over to hug her. “Merry Christmas.” He smiled.
“Merry Christmas. Both of you.” She hugged him back before waving to you.
“Merry Christmas.” You waved. Once she was gone, you smiled at Tony. “So, dinner by a fire?” You asked shyly. “I’ll need help getting down there.” You pointed out.
He moved over to gently lift you out of your chair. “Of course.” He got you settled on a pillow before getting the food. “What would you like to drink?” He asked, taking things out of the bags.
“Well, Bruce still has me on pain killers. So, soda?” You chuckled.
“One Y/F soda coming up.” He said easily, going to get a drink for each of you. He hoped that you weren’t weirded out by him trying to show you how much he cared about you.
Sitting on the couch, your leg over Wanda’s lap as you finished up The Little Mermaid. “What’s next?” You asked her, as she was the one who had set this up.
“Enchanted.” She smiled. “It doesn’t get enough credit for being amazing.” She said quickly. “It’s one of my favorites.” She popped a piece of popcorn in her mouth.
You had to admit, you saw why this was a favorite. It had you giggling, and you loved Pip. “Okay, Pip is the best.” You grinned.
“Right?” She agreed easily. “He was my text tone for awhile.” She chuckled.
When ‘That’s How You Know’ came on, you started to listen and your jaw dropped. “You’ve gotta be shitting me.” You gasped.
“What?” She paused it, looking at you confused. “What’s wrong?”
You looked at her. “Tony’s done all that!” You stared at her. “Literally. I don’t even think he’d know, as I can’t see him watching this.” You explained. “A couple months ago? He left me a note and sunflowers because it was dreary out. He asked me to that Christmas ball thing and danced with me as much as he could. When I woke up after the mission? He was wearing my favorite color shirt. And then when I got out? He got us dinner…which we ate in front of the fire in his living room.” You grabbed your phone to text him.
You stared at your phone. “Hey, can you help me back into my chair? I need to go see Tony.” You swallowed, looking at her.
She smiled and gently moved your leg. “Yeah, I think I can do that.” She nodded.
Hearing the elevator to his labs, he looked over to see you rolling in. “So…” You said shyly. “You love me?” You asked him.
“Yeah, I do.” He smiled. “Have for awhile.” He shrugged, setting his phone down before making his way to you. “Thought you were mad or something.” He blushed lightly, a look that you weren’t used to seeing on him.
“No wonder my phone was going off so much.” You teased. “I’m not mad, Tony.” You promised him. “Not even close.” You grinned up at him. “I love you, too.” You admitted softly. “I just don’t think it really hit me until that damn song.” You giggled.
He crouched so you didn’t have to look up at him anymore. “So, can I take you on a real date?” He asked.
You nodded. “Once I can walk.” You chuckled. “A wheelchair in New York? I give major props to anyone who is can do that. I, however, don’t think I’d last more than five minutes before I want to hurt someone.” You admitted.
“Deal.”
“Ready for your first dance, Mrs. Stark?” Tony asked, your hand in his.
You smiled over at him. “I’ve been ready.” You told him easily. “Let’s get out there and start this party.” You leaned over to peck his lips.
He kissed you back. “There’s one part of that song I missed.” He pointed out, making you raised an eyebrow at him. “I never dedicated a song to you.”
“You’re thinking of that now?” You teased. “After three years?” You asked.
“Yup.” He laughed. “I’ll have to change that after I spin you around that dance floor.”

COMFORT IN YOU
summary: y/n’s time as an assassin has come to an end after being caught by bucky barns and tony stark. tony fights to have her brought to avengers compound where she has to choose: become an avenger or become an experiment for the federal government. it’s an easy choice, truly. only as she’s integrating into avengers compound she recognizes someone, someone she used to work with. someone who she finds comfort within.
warnings: violence, cursing, mentions of corruption and manipulation, gun usage, blood

florescent white lights blinded y/n as she slowly woke up. she shut her eyes and groaned audibly, attempting to cover her eyes only to find herself bolted down to the ground, her hands in metal mittens bonded to the metal bed she laid atop of. there was a faint smell of gunpowder.
gunpowder? my rifle. she put together. my mission. she remembered. a failure. she worried. quickly she began to thrash against the metal, screaming with her movements.
“good morning y/n. welcome to avengers compound.”
right. of course. she was shooting at a senator, of course that was the one day tony stark decided to join capital hill.
she didn’t know what kind of tech was speaking to her, but she wouldn’t give it anything. this only ended one of two ways, death or prison. but people like y/n didn’t just go to prison, no they went to labs to be poked and prodded. she possessed the ability to fight captain america, someone could make a lot of many by harnessing her dna and making more captain americas.
just what the world needed. she figured. more people in spangley spandex.
“mr.stark has been alerted you’re awake, you’ve been asleep for 36 hours.” thirty-six hours? jesus. she couldn’t remember the last time she’d slept so long
y/n assessed the room around her, if she could get out of the metal mittens she was trapped in, she needed to find a way out. but looking around and seeing nothing but a stark—literally—white room; she was limited on options. though, to her luck, the white faded and she was blinded once more.
when she opened her eyes again she was in a lab, though she doubted the avengers would be after whatever made her special; already possessing powers and technology superior to her own. she glanced around seeing objects she reckoned weren’t from this world or even galaxy, technology so advanced and technical looking she didn’t dare to attempt to understand it, and of course; weapons. weapons of mass destruction. if she managed to make it out with one of those weapons and her life? she could take whatever money she had. move to the beach and go off grid for the rest of her life. never have to kill anyone again.
“you know, after wanda, i never thought another singular woman would be an avengers level threat.” tony stark wandered into the room, his hands at ease by his side, a glowing bracelet on his wrist. his suit, she figured, could construct itself from that band. that’s how he had stopped her at capital hill. he was expecting a fight.
“a little sexist if you ask me.” y/n grumbled with a shrug. tony simply tilted his head and began to tinker with something on the desk. “you very nearly successfully put a .33 through the skull of a senator with accuracy that clint could blush at.” he stated the obvious. “and you would have gotten away with it had us stinking kids not shown up.”
was he quoting scooby-doo right now?
“before this, you have successfully assassinated fourteen world leaders and upwards of five hundred civilians and criminals.” he was simply repeating facts she already knew. “the point being, you don’t have a pattern. you don’t work for anyone. yet you kill people with a gun, but you don’t need a gun; do you?” he stopped tinkering and turned around.
“because when the fbi went to find you, you disappeared. into thin air.” tony snapped as if he were making something disappear into thin air. “you don’t have a suit, you don’t have anything special really. and yet it took nearly quadruple the amount of force to injure you enough for anyone to wrangle you in here. and it’s a good thing barnes wants to take up a career in politics, because he’s the only person who could generate that much force—and even for him it was a struggle.”
“i’ve looked into the science, i’m a genius if you haven’t gathered—.” she rolled her eyes at this. “—yet i can’t wrap my head around you. you deny the laws of physics, have senses nearly as sharp as the kid, and strength like the hulk.” when y/n didn’t offer an explanation tony approached her. she didn’t trash, she wouldn’t give him the satisfaction.
“so i ask you, why are you simply an assassin?” he cracked his neck and crossed his arms, as if this weee an everyday occurrence for him.
“go to hell.” she snarled at him.
“okay we can do this the hard way.” he shrugged and tapped something on his glowing band and a hologram appeared in front of her. it showed security camera footage of a lab, an empty container large enough for a human and scientists looking to be preparing for something.
“you see that big plastic cage, yeah that’s where your going if you don’t cooperate with me.” he pointed at the hologram then pointed at his chest.
“what so you can get a jump start and make more money off of what i am?” as if.
“i don’t know if you’ve put this together or not, but i don’t need to make money off of you. what i do want is to give you chance to not be a murderer, but your making that a little difficult.” tony said, to be met with her glare.
“what you want to make me a hero?” she looked at him as if he were crazy.
“i want to make you an avenger.” he put it plainly. “which, i’ve fought pretty hard for, seeing as your not too popular with the federal government right now.” she rolled her eyes yet again.
“i’m not a hero stark.” she shook her head and looked at the cage that would be awaiting her. she’d killed people, her face was undoubtedly on every news outlet. “i know your not. but that doesn’t mean you can’t be an avenger.”
“isn’t that your guys’s whole gimmick? superhero’s saving the world?” she added extra sarcasm to her voice. “our gimmick is keeping the world safe. and the way i look at it: your a weapon. now you can be a weapon for us; keeping the world safe, or you can be a weapon against us. threatening us. and now that we’ve contained the dangerous weapon, it either joins us, or goes in the human test tube.” he explained. “it’s an easy choice for me, really.” his arrogance loud.
“people don’t trust me.” she shook her head. “i’ve killed their friends and family and leaders. whose to say i won’t kill them?”
“my weapons killed a lot more people that you have, and i stopped manufacturing, right now, you have the ability to put the pin back in the bomb before it explodes.” a shitty analogy if you asked y/n but an analogy none the less. “we want to help you y/n, we want you on our side.” for the first time, y/n looked tony in the eye reading—no—scanning for any insincerity. uncharacteristically, tony started seemed to be sincere. the choice was hers: be the avengers weapon, or be the federal governments weapon. she’d belonged to a form of government before, she wouldn’t do it again.
“take these things off me.” she told him. with one press of a button, they were gone. he offered a hand but she didn’t take it, instead she pulled herself up. “now don’t hate me, but seeing as you are a globally wanted assassin, you’re going to need some supervision till you’ve gained more trust from everyone in the tower. but, there is someone willing to show you the ropes. and a shower.” he sniffed the air and gagged.
“i came from from a submarine from russia to alaska and walked to DC, you do that and see how you smell.” she scoffed and tightened her ponytail holder. “that—is exactly the kind of grit we need from an avenger.” he clapped her on she shoulder only for her to wince.
“jarvis scan y/n for injuries.” tony called out to the ai system rigged through avengers compound. immediately, her shoulder, thigh, and abdomen began to glow read.
“open left shoulder wound, a muscle tear of the right quadricep, and deep cut across the abdomen sir.” the robot listed her injuries. y/n remained unmoved, tony cocked his head and raised his eyebrows. “not bad for a kid who got slammed through the pentagon.”
“i got slammed through the pentagon?” she asked. “only way to generate enough force to knock you out, barnes looks worse than you do.” tony referred to barnes again, the name sounding familiar. “we’ll get you patched up and a bath drawn.” he told her and led her out of the lab.
as they made their way through avengers compound tony pointed out everything to her: cool objects, interesting fortifications necessary for housing advanced individuals, common areas, and eventually her room. “your beside natasha, she’ll be in here in an hour to check your wounds over and make sure your settled. what are you a medium?” when his question was met with a nod a continued, “i’ll have someone bring you clothes too. you can ditch that suit, you’re never wearing that again.” he opened the door.
“oh, and it’s takeout night, eight o’clock. don’t be late.” he said, before disappearing down the hall. y/n gulped and watched him swagger off as if he owned the place. and technically? he did.
y/n steadied herself and walked into her room, it was the nicest room she’d ever seen. soft cream walls, a beautiful cream and blue rug, a bed that looked as if it were made from clouds, furniture nicer than she’d ever seen, and art hanging worth more than she wanted to know. she was cautious as she entered the room, turning over and checking everything. clear. she determined. this wasn’t a trick, or a cruel joke, this was really her life now. she turned her head to the know throughly looked over bathroom and set her sights on the luxurious tub calling her name.
—
“y/n?” a knock on her door called, y/n pulled her robe around her and perked up off the floor. she hadn’t dared sit on the bed yet, instead she’d made a home on the floor with a rug softer than anything she’d ever felt. “it’s me, natasha. tony wanted to make sure everything was alright and wanted me to check your wounds. i also have clothes for you.” she offered, her voice had a soft rasp to it. slowly, y/n made her way over to the door, and cracked it to make sure natasha was who she claimed she was. when she opened the door and saw black widow, she deemed her safe.
“hi.” her voice cracked, which she cleared immediately. natasha offered a small grin, “i know this is probably a big change.” y/n laughed at the understatement, natasha smiled wider at this. “but we want to help you. nick fury found me, almost how tony found you.” y/n nodded and moved out of the door frame to allow natasha in.
“fury has been after me for awhile.” y/n admitted. “i bet, you’re a mystery to a lot of people.” natasha laid the clothes out on the bed for her. an avengers crewneck and matching sweat pants, along with underwear. y/n quickly grabbed the intimate items and disappeared into the bathroom to change. when she returned, she still had the robe over her shoulders but the front was open, now only in a bra and panties, her ribs poking out.
“when’s the last time you ate?” natasha asked. y/n shrugged, “when i was in russia.” natasha frowned and pulled the robe off her, y/n then realized the medical supplies on the nightstand. “i don’t really get a lot of time to look at myself in the mirror, but i can vanish so if i don’t like what i see i just…poof.” she sat on the edge of the bed and let natasha begin to tend to her wounds.
“that won’t be a problem anymore.” natasha said, as if it were a promise. “tony told me about your vanishing act, do you control that?” she asked. “it just sort of happens when i need it to. like today, or two days ago for you guys, right as the bullet left my gun and tony saw me i just…” she trailed off again.
“poof?” natasha said with a smirk, at this y/n chuckled darkly. “yeah.” she bit her lip and nodded.
“why don’t you hate me?” y/n turned the questions to natasha. “because i was like you.” natasha said, ripping the gauze with her teeth. “a poor kid from a poorer home in russia, started killing as a girl, did it as a profession. then shield caught onto me, nick fury gave me a chance. and when nick fury gives you a chance…” she carefully wrapped her shoulder. “you take it.”
“it was this or a human test tube.” y/n told natasha, who nodded. “tony fought hard to keep you here. eventually he told the federal government that we have a hulk and if they wanted you; they’d have to take you.”
“he’s not used to being told no.” y/n said, causing natasha to laugh. “no, no he is not.” she turned her attention to the cut on her abdomen. “i can stitch it or you can let it heal on its own.” natasha asked. “stitch it, i don’t want to sit around and be useless waiting for it to heal.” y/n said, natasha nodded and had her lay flat on her back. y/n didn’t flinch as natasha sewed her up, they didn’t speak either while the needle threaded her skin. eventually y/n was allowed to sit back up.
“for the muscle not much to do other than let it heal.” natasha gently probed her thigh. “it doesn’t hurt.” y/n declared, natasha nodded at that. “good, get dressed, takeout will be here soon. and you need to eat.” natasha pointed at the sweatsuit and made no move to leave.
“i won’t make you walk in there alone.” she said, as though she could read y/n’s mind. y/n softened and thanked natasha before getting dressed and following her lead.
—
the avengers were a loud group, which was probably to be expected. they were all gathered around the huge kitchen island, a spread of chinese food covering the entire island as well. y/n’s stomach growled at the sight. it was tony who saw them first.
“nat! y/n! good, we made you both a plate.” tony waved them over, y/n avoided eye contact and followed wordlessly behind natasha who made herself comfortable beside steve rodger’s and y/n. y/n stood between natasha and tony.
“everyone, y/n will be joining us.” tony pulled an arm around her, y/n refused to look at anyone. she stood amongst the worlds greatest hero’s as nothing but an assassin. “she’s going to be an avenger, mainly because she could kick all of our asses.” tony’s joke caused some laughter but she could feel the stares. “hi, everyone.” she said, refusing to look up still but feeling tony’s arm off of her, she began to eat. she tried to make it look like she’d been raised with some manners. but first: that wasn’t true, and second: she was starving. nobody seemed to be paying much attention to her anyways, diverting back to the conversation and banter. but just as she began to shovel more lo mein onto her plate she noticed there was someone paying attention to her. someone she recognized.
when your a human being like y/n you tend to garner attention from terrorist organizations and crime circles. not only was she cheaper than most assassins, she was better, quicker, stronger. plus, you could pay her to stick around. originally, hydra was keeping her occupied solely. paying her more than she’d ever had, then they deemed her services too expensive yet vital. soon enough she was in their captivity. and so was the man with the metal arm staring at her.
the winter solider, she pieced together. hydras own version of captain america. frozen from the forties to fighting in the two thousands, not to mention lethal. the winter solider was hydra, until, at least, he escaped. the loss of the winter solider crippled hydra before they had time to integrate y/n, before they could kill her, she escaped. been on the run and on the hunt ever since. now, hydra was gone, thanks to the men and women who stood around her.
she stared at the winter solider until he adverted her eyes. she glanced around, he seemed it fit in. then again, he had captain america on his side. but y/n looked at tony, she had ironman.
—
y/n stared at her bed and it stared back.
it was far past a reasonable hour to be awake, but she didn’t want to sleep. she didn’t want to face her subconscious, and she wasn’t sure she’d be able to sleep on a bed that soft anyways. instead, she simply stood on the rug and allowed her feet to stay warm as she stared at the bed. then, there was a knock on the door and she jumped. her head whipped to the door.
“natasha?” y/n called. maybe she wanted to see if i was sleeping? maybe tony wanted to make sure i had everything.
“no.” a deeper voice than tony’s rasped. “it’s bucky, but you probably remember the winter solider.” y/n mouthed his name just as he said it. slowly, y/n approached the door but didn’t open it, “what do you want?” she asked. “can i come in?” he answered a question with a question. with a gulp, y/n’s hand found the handle but still hesitated. “what do you want?” she repeated, this time but firmer. she really wished she had a pocket knife or pistol, but she’d conveniently lost those along with her old clothes.
“to talk.” silence settled over them after those two words. y/n let a few seconds past, teetering on a minute. he recognized her, he probably didn’t want her here. then again, he’d recognized her at his own game. hesitantly, she opened the door.
in front of her stood the winter solider, or bucky barnes; the man who had to tackle her through the pentagon to knock her out. the previous hydra weapon. his arm—or arm—was crossed over his t-shirt, and two dog tags were around his neck, he was wearing the same sweatpants that natasha had given y/n. his jaw was set the same way it was at dinner, his stubble looking more like a shadow of his face, and his grey eyes piercing through her.
“you we’re at hydra.” he said, y/n nodded. “i was.” she spoke what he already knew. “are you alright?” he asked her, a softness to his voice that she wasn’t expecting. “as alright as i can be.” it was now that she noticed he had a gash beside his right eye, fresh. “i’m sorry about the whole having to take me down thing.” she looked at the floor. “don’t, it was kind of impressive.” his attempt to lighten the mood feel a little flat, and the silence of the compound at night settled over then.
“did they control you?” he spoke up, y/n gulped. “sort of. not how they did to you.” she answered with a non-answer. “do you want to..” she moved to the side and gestured to allow him inside. he didn’t say anything but walk inside, moving to the same spot where she stood.
“i still can’t sleep in these beds.” his voice cracked. y/n shut the door behind them and moved to his side, crossing her arms across her abdomen, feeling natasha’s stitching. “too soft.” he added, y/n didn’t say anything except for a nod.
“after hydra, why didn’t you stop?” he questioned, y/n suddenly wished she hadn’t invited him in. “because it’s the only thing i’ve ever known.” she answered honestly, looking up at him. he seemed to feel her eyes on him, meeting hers with her own. “i didn’t like it, i never have. but i’ve also never been a hero.” she tore her gaze away, “i don’t think i ever will be.” her insecurity slipped.
“none of us are hero’s.” bucky said confidently, his voice as resident as it had been the whole conversation. “we all have blood on our ledger, accidental or not.” it was only then bucky stopped looking at her. “we’re all just trying to do the right thing.”
“i didn’t know where to start.” her teeth found her bottom lip, as her fingers grazed her stitches she felt her eyes well. she felt so ashamed. if the winter solider could stop, why hadn’t she? out of nowhere, she felt an arm wrap around her, not showy or possessive like tony. nor gentle and reassuring like natasha. just present and grounding.
“i’m glad your here.” he said. neither of them moved for an indefinite amount of time. then, just as y/n looked up from the ground, she saw bucky. that’s when her strength slipped away from her, and felt tears begin to fall. “i’m sorry.” she said quickly, pulling away from his hold and steadying herself; forcing herself to pull it together.
“it’s a lot, i know.” she supposed he did. “but i knew steve, i knew him before he was captain america. and he knew me before i’d ever killed anyone.” her body trembled but she didn’t stop listening and he didn’t stop talking. “you don’t have anywhere here for you like that.” here we go. she thought. this is the part where he knows her too well, where he runs her off. why hadn’t she run anyway? she could break for it in the night? nobody would ever see her—
“but i’m as close as you have it.” at this she turned back around, nearly five feet between y/n and bucky but they felt infinitely too close. “if you need anything—to talk or just anything at all—and you don’t want to ask tony, i’m just down the hall.” he said, and silence settled over them.
“why are you helping me?” she was confused at his sympathy. he’d managed to pick himself up immediately after hydra, y/n had continued on. bucky rolled his jaw, “because if you had a steve rodger’s, you would have never gone through what you have.” y/n didn’t respond, and bucky didn’t move. silence passed for a beat, then a minute, then two.
“i slept for thirty six hours, i’m not tired.” she said, to which bucky just stared at her. “but i am starving.” she said quietly, causing him to laugh and scratch the back of his neck. “yeah…yeah alright.” he laughed. “do you have a coat?” he asked, to which she shook her head. “i don’t have shoes either.” she said. again, he laughed. “okay, follow me.”
—
thirty minutes later, y/n and bucky sat in a small diner outside upstate new york with a mountainous ice cream sundae between them. y/n wore boat bucky’s leather coat, and his boots, and she had a little bit of whipped cream on the corner of her mouth.
“is this what you and steve did? after you two got reunited?” she asked, bucky found it near impossible to not grin or smirk in her presence. “no, we fought tony actually.” at her confusion he provided clarification. “i killed his parents, on top of steve and tony already fighting about the anatomy of the avengers.” y/n made a small ah sound, as if that were a completely normal thing. “then we ended up at a bar in brooklyn that used to be a diner in the forties.”
“did you sit in the smoking section?” she teased, he rolled his eyes. “steve always hated smoking actually.” he said as though it were a thought provoking statement. “he used to lecture me all the time, the girls would make fun of him and tell him that because he didn’t smoke that’s why he was small.” y/n laughed, the idea of a ninety pound captain america was comical.
“i always wanted to, but i couldn’t afford it.” y/n admitted. “when your in the business of killing people, and on the run, you can only carry so much cash.” bucky nodded and shoveled a spoonful of chocolate ice cream into his mouth. “at least you got paid.” he joke darkly, though it landed as he watched y/n’s face ignite with laughter.
the bell to the diner door rang, bucky’s head turning on muscle memory. but at the sight of two guys, both with masks, and one clearly holding a pistol: he tensed. y/n, following bucky’s line of sight, did the same. she didn’t have a gun, but she could feel bucky’s on the ride over. she watched as he reached for it, when one of the men locked eyes with them.
“nobody is going to get hurt, if everyone cooperates.” said the plumper one of the two, his partner now held his pistol for all to see. y/n quickly assessed who else was in the diner. the waitress working, the old man by the window, bucky, and the woman on drugs sitting at a high top.
“yeah, that’s not likely.” said bucky as he unsheathed his gun and pointed it them, firing square into one man’s chest. y/n jumped up from the booth and quickly grabbed the old man by the window closet to them, shoving him behind the counter with the waitress. “get down!” she directed, dodging one of the bullets being fired at her. she grabbed a plastic trey sitting on top of the diners counter and covered her head as she slid underneath and grabbed a steak knife. then, in one swift motion, she jumped back over the counter, covering the woman with a mouth telling of substance abuse, and threw the knife in the man’s eye as he began to shoot at bucky. with two more shots, he fell to the ground like his former colleague.
“is everyone alright?” y/n called through the diner, slowly, three heads began to pull themselves up from behind the counter. “are you okay?” bucky asked, his non metal hand finding her waist as he looked her over. “yeah i’m fine, he just shot at me once before…” she glanced behind her looking at her damage. he was bleeding out from his eye and his chest. two distinctly bullet shapes holes, one in his heart the other in his lung.
“you’re bucky barnes.” the waitress said, a shake to her voice. bucky just gave a small wave as the three civilians didn’t know where to look, at the avenger, the two dead men, or the random girl who’d killed one of the dead men with the avenger. “wait a minute, aren’t you the girl who almost killed that senator on monday?” the old man wiped his glasses as if he wasn’t seeing through the, properly.
“we should go.” said bucky, y/n just nodded and ran out the diner, bucky on her tail. it wasn’t until they were almost back at the avengers compound and the sun had begun to ride that y/n realized they forgot to pay.
