We were made with the same kind of stitch you and I. So we’ll keep mending the tears , because this cloth is too valuable to throw away.

I don't get someone drawing a canonically fat character skinny for suggestive artwork or just artwork in general. Why even draw that character? just draw the 1000 skinny characters instead or learn how to draw fat people better with references? I get as angry as reactionary conservatives got when they gave the green m&m's sneakers when people draw fat characters skinny for their stupid fanart. You removed a major part of the character and what for? Your art just looks worse now and you look like a dick

Too Familiar
“…On the Sabbath He began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard Him were astonished, saying, “Where did this man get these things? What is the wisdom given to Him? How are such mighty works done by His hands? Is not this the Carpenter, the Son of Mary and Brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us?” And they took offense at Him. And Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor, except in His hometown and among His relatives and in His own household.” And He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. And He marveled because of their unbelief.” Mark 6:1-6ESV
Lou and I moved to my hometown area after 29 years of living away. Following us came two of our children with their families. One in-law began hanging around with people from the taverns, who had long memories. The old Indiana adage about who’s your, pronounced ‘Hoosier,’ family, was often asked. When responding with my parents name, people began to gossip. ‘Wasn’t she married to that murderer? She used to hang out in this bar. I remember her when……’
Someone said it takes 25 good memories to wipe out one really bad memory. For sure it takes 29 years plus for some memories. People found it hard to believe ’Debbie’s a ‘church person.’ How could it be? When I first ran into some classmates, they raised eyebrows at my mentioning Jesus. Even the church we attended was reserved towards me initially. Do you think I had a bad reputation? No I had a notorious reputation. People were too familiar with the spiritually dead Debbie.
The Nazareth citizenry were too familiar with Jesus’s entire family. Naming His brothers and sisters, taking “offense.” (Per Google “offense” is ‘annoyance or resentment brought about by a perceived insult to or disregard for oneself or one's standards or principles.’) Those people of Nazareth thought Jesus was trying to dupe and make fools out of them. Where did He get this superiority over them? Now, should He have been Jesus from Jerusalem, whom they’d never met, they would’ve probably been very accepting, becoming great supporters of His ministry. But He wasn’t— He was Jesus OF Nazareth whom they’d known all of His life.
Have we gotten too familiar with Jesus of the Bible? We can listen to His music while we drive down the road, or while we shower, making it entertainment rather than worship. Did we quit reverencing Him in too familiar music about Him?
Even believers say — ‘Oh my God, I—’ as slang parts of their sentences. Did they become overly familiar with the scriptures, to the point of forgetting the relevancy of Exodus 20:7ESV “You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain?” This grieves my heart when I hear those words.
There’s a girl, whom I met recently, who’s never attended church in her 21 years— right here in Ohio. Will she be easier to evangelize than those who’ve been in churches every Sunday since birth and became too familiar with Him to respond? Seemingly many of the ‘believers’ who know He’s returning soon, have forgotten Who He is and what He did for them. They’ve taken up living like the rest of society. The historical Holy Book which has stood solid for 6,000 years pales in comparison to the ‘new age theories,’ critical race theories, the LGBTQ agendas they’ve been learning lately. Are you too familiar? Will you respond to Him? It’s your choice. You choose.
LET’S PRAY: Almighty God I’m not too familiar today, but I remember a time I almost was. Thanks for awakening me. Help Your entire family to awaken, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.

Possibly The most surprising thing I have discovered on the internet is the number of people who will unironically refer to others as "degenerates" without expecting anyone reading this to immediately assume that they are a straight-up fascist

Once you’ve opened up and let someone see your soul , even if they decide to go, they can never be strangers again. You’ve shared way too much with them to simply return to being strangers. .

Roy and Babs' dynamic has the potential to be so funny. "I'm having a homoerotic relationship with your stepmother while you are having a homoerotic relationship with my boyfriend". Unhinged.

Prompt 164
“Dude, of course you’re having rage moments, have you like, ever gone back to the Zone after you got revived? Or at least like, found a familiar to take the edge off all that excess ecto of yours?”
“... what.”
“I’ll take that as a no, come on. My Dad can open a portal and we can find you a friend if you’re gonna’ insist on being in the living world!”
“Wait a fucking minute- what the fuck-”
