In a modern universe, Cersei Lannister would get sent to one of those fancy private rehabs/psych hospitals (she doesn't want to go but Jaime booked her in after her latest breakdown and convinces her that actually it's super trendy these days for rich white women to go on "mental health retreats") and immediately tries to convince her psych team that she's totally fine and actually doesn't need to be here only to promptly be diagnosed with Bipolar and put on an ungodly amount of Seroquel.

Every single meeting she's forced to attend, she sits in her chair huffing up a storm while everyone else speaks, and when it's her turn goes on a fifteen minute rant alternating between insisting that everything wrong with her isn't actually her fault, insulting everyone else at the meeting because can't BELIEVE people actually fall for this psychobabble therapy nonsense, and sobbing uncontrollably over how her life has turned out.

After she's done she goes back to ignoring everyone.

Would absolutely look down on the people in there for narcotic addictions despite the fact that she's spent roughly the equivalent of the GDP of a small country on cocaine over the years.

Also freely admits to her therapist to having had an incestuous relationship with Jaime during childhood and adolescence but insists it doesn't matter anymore because they "grew out of it" after Jaime went to military school and she realised it would've been social suicide for her modelling career if anyone got photos of them together while she was dating various other celebrity guys, and remains completely oblivious to the ongoing emotional incest and codependency that's running through her entire family.

She emphatically insists that the only problem with Tywin's parenting was that he didn't send Tyrion away at birth and that he got Jaime a spot at Harvard Business School even though he didn't actually WANT to go and SHE did.

If this sounds like I'm bashing her, I promise I'm not. These are simply things I know to be true.

Aw, a new creepjoiner has arrived at Château de Amitié! She's a genie with level 20 intellectual—on par with the Jones boys themselves—and the power to create fleshbeasts out of corpses. I don't know that we'll use that ability much, but it's lovely to have you along for the time being, Beau!

Our other creepjoiner is making sure everyone remembers who the melee expert is around here. For context, Mechi had a mental break because he wanted a fancy throne room (dramatic bitch, I love him) and went on an insulting spree. Initially, he targeted Kwahu, but after Kwahu had had enough of it and went to bed, Mechi decided to annoy Jut instead.

Jut was not having it and decided to get his own insult in first, so Mechi changed his mind and clearly thought a fistfight was in order.

I'm just going to go ahead and say it: I reckon someone with Mechi's intellectual skill level should know better than to pick a fight with the superpowered vampire who could (if he were just slightly more annoyed) explode you with his mind.

In the end, Jut won by breaking Mechi's right leg (the one that's not bionic) in two places. They're both better friends now, though, because of a cathartic fight, which is nice.

It's a creepjoiner episode today, I suppose. Jut and Beau seem to be getting along great, which is good to see. We love it when everyone is friends! I sure hope Beau doesn't end up being evil or something. I quite like her, actually!

Chel Chel Chel...her personality is clever, resourceful, and god, can she be seductive. She is able to manipulate situations to her advantage - yet she has a heart of gold.

Syrax is honestly the perfect dragon for Chel. The She-Dragon is elegant, strong but not as aggressive as other dragons.

Chel and Syrax would make a power duo—graceful but capable of immense strength when needed. Their bond is playful, but extremely strong.

Chel would easily figure out that a bond with a dragon isn't just about getting on their back and barking orders. It's so much deeper than that. It's tuning into each other. Spending time together. And ultimately, mastering tone and emotion...basically syncing energies.

Tulio would bond with Vermithor, the Bronze Fury. The largest and one of the eldest dragons, Vermithor is a physical representation of power, strength and free-will.

This would be the ultimate 'Brains Meets Brawn,' dynamic; Tulio is all about strategy and cleverness. Vermithor is a powerhouse, built for destruction and dominance.

Vermithor would have a lot of influence over Tulio; and there would be a lot of character development (whether Tulio wants it or not).

why is starting a new book one of the hardest things in the world

if a writer insists that the best written female characters in existence are stoic and for all intents and purposes could be replaced by a male doppelganger without changing anything material about the story, ie """androgynous""" roles that just so happen to be played by a girl/woman, then that writer will face the same criticisms over and over forever that they only know how to write at most 2 women, and will ultimately never be someone who can write a variety of characters from a place of originality or honesty

and any reader who insists the same will forever feel threatened or disgusted by any characters who don't fit or don't reassure their expectations of gender-essentialism

Mechi has gained a new psylink level and picked up the "Enchant Quality" psycast along with it. While he may be skeptical of the scientific backing of such powers, he can't argue with the results!

Finally, we were offered this quest to let The Empire test some weapons on us for a little over four days. All of these rewards could be useful.

Mechi can always use gold for his technology, and having the favour of The Empire might help us in finding the Archonexus in the future.

Alternatively, a tornado generator sounds like it could help us turn the tide of any battles that look to be going against us with just one colonist and a handful of mechanoids to hold the line.

Mechi would leap at the chance to gain new knowledge, especially if it meant he could do it without talking to anybody. For reference, his social skill is the only one he's absolutely useless at.

Or we could deny the quest and tell The Empire we want no part of their weapons test. What do we think, everyone?

stoppppp im living for daemon's harrenhal storyline this season... Also between the north, harrenhal and the twins next episode they're really doing a best of roose storyline tour. hoping and praying they'll have a background bolton character that looks like book roose at some point, as a treat

As for roose himself him, getting a storyline with visions like this would be like a dream come true for me, like whats haunting him... what's the buttons you can push inside his psyche... Hes such a closed off and deceptive character that you'd pretty much need a dream or pov type scenario to truly get to the bottom of it
