ALLOW ME to explain my big brain (self-diagnosed) character design reasoning unprecedented and with no warning at all-

I draw Ichimatsu and Todomatsu with fangs too! To reflect how Oso, Ichi, and Totty are the “evil” esque brothers and cause I said so.

I just show the fangs when they open their mouths as opposed to Oso cause I like the idea of Totty having a smile with no apparent fangs while he’s being fake and having them showing when he’s being his little genuine sly self — Ichi, he just looks better with them when his mouth is open.

As you can see, made the number of fangs differ too. The more “evil”, the more fangs — though a good argument can be made Totty is most morally corrupt…

I think many people struggle to understand Todomatsu — if the fanfics are to go by. Either making him too cutesy or simply not writing him at all.

I’d be lying if I said I had it all figured out but what’s certain is I have a soft spot his more maniacal side (not that he’s pure evil — far from it).

PS: Did you know that Totty actually has the same dead eyes as Ichi and Jyushi? It’s in the Oso-san manga! Makes me wonder if he forces his eyes to sparkle somehow to be cuter…

Part 1, Part 2 This is a short story, my grammar is bad... First post on tumblr btw!

The first time you had tried gaming, your friend, Aki - it’s meaning was something like ‘bright helper’ but she, some way or another, had ended up the exact opposite of what her name meant- had somehow managed to make a deal with you; if you had joined her in playing it to prevent others from thinking she was lonely, she would lend you the manga you've been wanting for a long time though due to it's leaks and large popularity all copies were sold out within the first few hours of release. You sulked in your room for hours. But anyway, this was how you ended up here, with your friend's leant monochrome headphones sitting plainly yet comfortably atop your hair, the unmistakable sounds of mouse clicking filled the room when suddenly it all stopped. Someone had… somehow joined the server lobby that was apparently meant to be private, or so she said. Your face flickered with surprise, head snapping towards her sheepishly laughing face. 

“I thought you said I didn't have to worry about awkwardly meeting other people since this was a private server!“ You quietly yelled, an evident glare faced directly toward the said friend “Well that's what I thought at least! Why don't we just ask the intruder how - and why he's here!" She stated "He?" "Please don't say I assumed gender." Her voice trailed off "But you just did-" You said, trying to back what you just said but was interrupted by the 'someone' joining the voice chat leading to everything becoming even quieter if it could. "..." The two companions could hear the lightest shuffling of clothes before he (?) spoke up 'Hello?" "You just - mhph!" before your *cough* dear *cough* friend, could say anything rude like all the swear words in her small vocabulary, you were quick to throw your hand over her mouth stopping her from saying anything "Continue." You calmly replied, letting your arm drop down to let the poor girl breathe "Hey." The stranger said "Well? How did you get in here?" She questioned, suspicion evident in her voice "It wasn't privatized. It automatically spawned me here." "What are your pronouns? It's getting tiring to have Y/n saying I'm assuming gender." "Who?"        

Turning off both your microphones, before screaming as loud as you could in her face, even though it really wasn’t all that loud “Aki! Don’t just say my name in front of strangers! Didn’t you learn that during elementary school before?!” “Opps, sorry, that was a slip of tongue. But I guess to be equal you could tell him my name too?” “Why would I want to-” You wanted to say that there would be no reason to list out Aki’s name as well but instead, the unfamiliar voice asked “Are you both still here?” “Uh, yeah! We’re still here!” “Since I just said my friend here’s name, I guess I could tell you my name too. It’s Aki by the way.”

More of that unstable, in between comfortable and disturbing silence because with the boy, behind the screen, he was debating whether or not to let these two girls know his name, especially since they told him their names even before they were sure he would tell his in return. Did they trust him? Screw this, it was tol much pressure. "Kozume… Kozume Kenma, you asked earlier for my pronouns, I’m a boy. I thought you could figure from my voice though…"

        "Wait! Aren't you that twitch streamer?"       

"Yes?" Queue the fangirl squeak/squealing of Aki ``That's great! That means you can help Y/n here! She's a total noob at this game, though she's considerably good since she just started a few hours ago. Soooo I'll leave the two of you alone for now." Yeah, Aki was the no. 1 shipper of you and Kenma when you first met. I guess your personalities were just too similar; both were timid who only spoke to people close to them even though it was still quiet. Both were even shut ins but who'd stay in most and for the longest? That question remains unanswered.

You watched Aki exit the fluorescent lit room with the excuse that it was a little too hot in the room and she was going outside for a walk *cross* presumably for two, three hours of a 'binge watching anime marathon' but what the girl didn't know was that it's probably a really bad idea to leave two socially awkward people together. For sometime the room was silent before Kenma started to speak, "So, what do you need help with? - In game." "I………… don't know, I don't even know how to play this game, Aki just left me here."        

"I could help you."       

With these simple words, both started moving in game and eventually warmed up to each other, talking like you'd known the other for years

I just found your account and it looks like you know about comics, can you recommend me some angsty Dick Grayson comics? All I know is secondhand stuff, I watched Titans and Teen Titans Go!, but not the original Teen Titans (because life happened, it's on the list ok), I especially like the scene with Dick slowly going crazy in jail, it's what I feel like as a Craycray myself, and it's so nice when Bruce is just... nice to him. Tethys 30 day HCs

Hello its me online tumblr noob anon i've been absent for 2 months bcos i've been too lazy to do zeus' and chiron's HCs but i like tethys so I'll do hers

- tethys has clay-coloured skin like the banks of a river. Her hair is very wavy and is this gorgeous turquoise colour. It shimmers and sort of floats and twists around her like a meandering river. Her eyes are a similar colour too but they glimmer like pearls at the bottom of the sea. I HC that she always wears this dress that shifts in a gradient from shades of green to shades of blue, and it is so long that it goes all the way down to the floor and covers her feet completely. It sort of wraps and weaves around her so it looks like a meadering river, and when she walks it looks like she is sort of floating. Her dress also moves in such a way that it looks like a water column with depth and stuff, as if Tethys sort of just rose out of a river or water body. I also HC that Tethys can't stray too far from the ocean or a river for too long, kind of like a nymph.

- tethys is extremely nuturing and forgiving. Rivers are the cradles of civilisation for humanity, and tethys seems to be almost a mother goddess type. On wikipedia it says that Homer may have implied that Oceanus and Tethys were the "first parents of the whole race of gods" and that Oceanus was the "genesis for all". Tethys was Hera's foster mother for a time, and apparently Tethys helped to nurse Helios and Selene (children of Hyperion and Theia) "in their infancy, when their light was weak and had not yet grown into their older, more luminous selves". Coupled with the fact that Oceanus and Tethys already canonically have so many kids, i think that Tethys was extremely motherly, kind, caring and supportive. The kind of parents who have already raised and nurtured so many kids, but always have room and love for more. I love them so much omg

- thats why i think that Oceanus and Tethys were better parents than Gaia and Ouranos, and that they basically raised their siblings. Orphism states that Oceanus and Tethys were "the first to marry" and apparently that may imply that in Orphism, Oceanus and Tethys were the primeval parents instead of Gaia and Ouranos. This makes sense to me considering my HCs about Tethys's personality and the fact that Gaia was already very busy dealing with Ouranos's bs

- tethys and oceanus very naturally fell in love and were basically destined for each other since the start. I mean rivers always inevitably flow towards the ocean, and the ancient greeks viewed the ocean as "an enormous river encircling the world". In a sense they were the two halves of the same coin and could never be separated. It was a good thing that tethys and oceanus got along so well, if not there would be more zeus-hera-like conflicts plaguing the world lol

- i think tethys would have been the closest to her mother Gaia. Rivers always erode the Earth and shape the landscape. In a way Gaia, Tethys and Demeter are instrumental to create cradles of civilisation for humanity. Gaia and Tethys would have spent a lot of time together and become close as a result. I think Gaia would have trusted Tethys to take care of her kids while she dealt with Ouranos, and tethys wouldnt be bitter about it since she enjoyed taking care of her siblings and also understood her mother's position. She would encourage Gaia to be more forgiving with Ouranos, but after Ouranos unceromoniously dumped the Cyclopses and the Hecatoncheiries into Tartarus, she would also have supported the ovethrowing of Ouranos. But tethys definitely couldnt have been the one to do the deed due to her kind nature and gaia knew this, so eventually cronus stepped up instead.

- during the titanomachy, tethys and oceanus would have remained neutral. Being non conflict driven, they mostly just functioned as a safe base aside of all the conflict. Tethys couldnt really leave any water body for a long time anyway, so she probably couldnt have been very useful in battles. Zeus understood this and didn't punish them for not helping him in the titanomachy. Hera would have definitely prevented him from punishing them anyway since Tethys and Oceanus were her foster parents "when Zeus was in the process of deposing Cronus".

- tethys would have taught Hera to be kind, gentle and considerate, but both Hera and Tethys cannot stand disloyalty (as in infedelity and cheating). When Zeus tried to court Hera, similar to Vans' HCs, i think Tethys and Oceanus would have disapproved of Zeus due to his philandering ways. But later Tethys and Oceanus sensed that Zeus truly loved Hera, and when Hera really fell for him, they let her marry him. However, when Zeus started cheating on Hera, they would have been cold towards him. Apparently when Callisto (one of the followers/huntresses of Artemis and lover/victim of Zeus) got turned into a bear constellation (Ursa Major), she was forbidden by Tethys from setting below the horizon and "touching Ocean's deep out of concern for Hera". Either Hera appealed to Tethys or Tethys took the initiative to do so. Either way, it seems that Tethys (and Oceanus) will take every opportunity to slight Zeus on Hera's behalf, LOL

Anyway i really like Tethys and I think she's great LOL. Maybe eventually I'll get around to doing Zeus' and Chiron's HCs, but i find it more fun to do HCs about characters that we have less info about LOL

Has Jensen still not said anything on the finale? And I was looking through your answered asks- what happened with the scripts?

Honestly what a life you’ve been living, I hate to catch you up because living in ignorance must be so great.

There have truly been like 654654654151 meltdowns since the Spanish dub, at this point there’s more to season 16 of SPN than there was of 15 lmao.  To keep it short: script leaks, sexy silence, Stacey Abrams is a heller, Jared sticking his foot in his mouth...repeatedly, Jared joining an MLM, Misha got a cameo, Jimmy Novak, the dead band Kansas, Dean and Cas got married on Valentine’s Day.  There’s more, there’s tons more, but honestly...I can’t even remember all of it anymore.

So Jensen said like ONE thing about the finale a couple of months ago, they spoke briefly on it prior to the Georgia runoff elections when they did a live Zoom with Stacey Abrams, but overall he has said virtually nothing.  He’s acknowledged it here and there but not anything to really write home about.  Jared on the other hand...well, he’s praised the finale a good amount.  Not terribly surprising when he literally has another show on the CW now, but the biggest thing is that he said something that made it seem like Dean dying was the best outcome, as Sam could “move on” and “have a life” without him.  Mad fucked tbh.

There’s also been a lot with scripts.  That’s where “still beautiful, still Dean Winchester” comes from.  King Bobo wrote that into the 15x18 script, as Cas looks at Dean before the big confession.  Truly sickening how in love they are.

A few weeks ago people got their hands on the finale script and, yikes.  There was a lot that was simply “omitted” from the script (this was a final draft, things that were supposed to be shot).  And uh, well, almost everything that was “omitted” was...Dean.  His half of the finale montage, omitted.  Six scenes after his death.  Omitted.  Charlie, Jody, Eileen, Rowena were supposed to be included in the finale, reacting to the news of Dean’s death, that was IN THE SCRIPT, not omitted, but it was still cut in post.

Someone also got their hands on a “Tombstone” script and it says in the script that Dean is happy for the first time since Cas’ death when Cas comes back (wbk but it was literally in the script).

There’s now a group of people that are trying to get more scripts?  Idk I don’t have much info on that, just that they’ve gotten some things from s14 and there’s been some more soft DeanCas moments out of them too.

Misha has a Cameo and said Cas can do better than Dean (lmao).  There’s also been some other things he’s said, the majority of which are soft things about Cas and/or sweet things to fans, nothing too too crazy there (at least that I can remember, I have the memory of a goldfish and there’s SO MUCH).

Yeah there’s really been no explanation, a production gift that went out a couple of months ago said there was supposed to be a big party in Heaven where Kansas would play (why are they dead?  who knows), but really there’s been nothing concrete.  If you want my opinion, it truly seems like the script was written and rewritten to exclude more and more of the found family aspect, and then it was completely scrubbed in post-production cuts and shooting choices.

I need to vent a minute because I am really sick of being treated poorly by people who call themselves my friend or refer to me as their friend. I’m very much used to never being a priority in a friendship, I’m always the secondary person, I am a person who puts others needs ahead of mine. I am always the friend that will rush to build their friend back up when they’re feeling down, remind them about why they’re so amazing, I’m always the one who will say something to another when said friend can’t either like “hey you did this and it really bothered by friend, so can you not do that,” or whatever. I literally will shove down all my feelings, throw all my shit under a rug and fucking do whatever it takes at any time of day or night to help a struggling friend.

Recently I reconnected with someone I would call an acquaintance, and before anyone gets all bent out of shape thinking this is some vague post about them, said person isn’t on Tumblr anymore. He recently did something really just stupid and reached out to me afterwards and I decided to give him a second chance. I struggle with a lot of the same issues he does, no self esteem an awful family (mother in my case, both parents in his) and people relentlessly judging and bullying him for self shipping. So, I said fuck it, I know how bad it hurts to be completely alone and hurt and betrayed by your closest friends so I will at least talk to him.

We were chatting for a few days and it was pretty apparent off the bat that he was making some sort of effort to be less of a selfish prick and actually care about me too. Previously it had always been about him and his self ship, but this time he was actually asking things like how Bi-Han and I were doing and he even offered to draw Bi-Han, Noob and I. So, me being the type of person who always tries to look for the good in people and thinking maybe finally hitting rock bottom woke him up, I offered to draw him and his fictional wives too. So, I drew it, I colored it and he absolutely loved it, he was super appreciative and over the moon about it so I felt great making someone happy.

Fast forward to today though, it’s obvious he’s in a bad place and a bad state and asks me to draw him another picture. This time though he wants some gory, self harm drawing of his self insert sobbing with his wives comforting. I told him I wasn’t really comfortable drawing something like that, gore and self harm don’t bother me, but it also isn’t what I’m into. He keeps pressing me about it though, like why wouldn’t I do it, what if it was just him crying, etc. like on and on and on. Finally I firmly and calmly tell I don’t want to do something like that and that he was making me feel like he only started talking to me again because he wanted something from me. This is an issue I’ve had in the past when I was still writing asks and fics and stuff, I ran into several people who pretended to be friends with me in hopes I would write something for them. At first he seems rational and apologetic for pushing so hard, saying he understood my position and was sorry. Then like a minute later he starts wigging out about how awful he is, and what a bad friend he is and this is why no one likes him and all this ridiculous BS. I tell him that I understand things don’t always come out right when you’re in a bad mental state, but he just keeps wigging out and telling me I should block him and shit. I just, I can’t with this shit anymore. I’m just over it, if I can’t have a normal conversation with someone and set healthy, and necessary boundaries with a person in a polite and calm fashion and have that person understand and respect those boundaries I just can’t be friends with that person anymore. I can’t continue to sacrifice my mental health caring about people who don’t care about me, I deserve better than that, I am worth more than that.

It’s shit like this and so many others before that have made me so stand-off-ish and reclusive in the fandom, I’m done being used by people. If you like me for me, awesome, I will be there for you with every fiber of my being, but if you’re just going to use me to build yourself up or get free things then just don’t bother with me. I’m done with people who only care about me when they want something or want to themselves feel better. I expect a friend to be there for me at my worst and my lowest just like I’m there for them.

My work had been pretty demanding nearing the end of this month, and it made me get really sick of doing coding in general. Still, there is some progress on the game, and that’s good enough for me!

Character Sheet: You / Player / Main Character

Before I get to anything else, let’s talk about ‘you’ first, shall we?

Although the main character's name is changeable, if you don’t wish to pick a name for them, ‘Suzuki Kaede’ is set as the default name.

Why Suzuki? I figured I would just take from one of the most common Japanese surnames.

Why Kaede? I chose it because I wanted a common Japanese unisex name, because the main character themselves is supposed to be gender neutral. So, the name came up as one of the results in Google, it has a somewhat nice and neutral meaning (maple), and I find that it sounds pretty nice, I decided to use it.

To reiterate, throughout the game, I try my best to not mention any physical characteristics and avoid elements which leans heavily to a specific gender in the story. All the characters in the game will also call you with your last name, and only neutral suffix (-san) is used at first. But you could get an event where you would be able to pick how the love interest will call the player, starting from that point in the story (on top of neutral options, there will be choices with gender-specific suffixes which you could pick if you want to). Other than that, all characters will always refer to the MC as ‘they/them’.

Now, moving on to the thing which people has asked about -- the player's Quirk. Here's a text version in case you couldn't see it in the image above for some reason:

What happens when a woman with Enhanced Learning quirk and a man with Camera Vision procreates? A child with exemplary learning ability and a pair of exceptionally observant eyes, apparently! The hereditary Vision you got from your father enables you to focus or scan an object or landscapes. With all the cues and information from your eyes, it seems that you're able to analyze and 'see' particular details of your object of interest in the form of numerical data. Due to the mainly passive nature of your quirk, you have to rely on the traditional weapons for offense, which might not be useful at all depending on your opponent's quirk. It's a plain and nonoffensive ability which isn’t so suited for a hero according to most people, but whatever - you’ll show those noobs the power of a gamer!

In other words, the information in 'Stats',  ' Weapon Proficiency', 'Special Moves', and even the 'Affection' meter, are actually part of the MC's Quirk. This also means, the more you hone your Quirk, the more it could affect your gameplay. I'll talk about that on the Gameplay section below.

There is one thing that’s kind of related to the MC's Quirk and I wanted to clarify. Bakugou did call you this in the demo, and yep, you might have guessed it: “crosshair eyes”. Reticle, crosshair, whatever you want to call it -- it’s that symbol you usually see in the center of your screen whenever you play FPS games. This is the only physical feature of the player's character that I specified (and yes, canonically, Hatsume has a pair of similar looking eyes in the original work). In relation to this, the icon for ‘activating’ your Quirk matches the same symbol.

Gameplay

Introducing: Stats, Special Moves, and Video Games!

Stats

There are 5 basic Stats for all of the characters in the game (brownie points if you recognize where they're taken from!): Speed, Technique, Power, Intelligence, Cooperativeness.

Your own Stats start off low, but you will be able to increase it by doing various activities, such as studying, playing games, winning on Heroics lessons, going to certain places, etc. Different activities raises different Stat, and you're free to choose which particular Stat you want to develop.

What are Stats being used for?

Certain Stat will increase a certain character’s affection, though it won’t be as much as if you hang out with that character.

There are certain places which you can only unlock when a specific Stat reaches a certain point. I’ll talk about hang out places and characters’ schedules in another post.

Weekly one-on-one training matches in Heroics lessons will test a specific Stat or Special Moves each time. Depending on who you chose to become your opponent, that specific Stat will determine the outcome of that match. On one hand, winning these matches can increase your Stat, but on the other hand, there are also special events you could possibly unlock when you lose. Again, I’ll probably talk more in detail about this in another post, since I still don't have the coding part down, so things might change.

Special Moves

Every hero has a Special Move in this universe, and so does the player’s character! While they might not be as flashy as All Might’s iconic United States of Smash, some of your Special Moves will have a direct effect on the gameplay. For example, a certain Special Move could unlock more answer choices for certain scenarios. Another Special Move could be activated to give you hints on how many affection points will be added to a character for the available choices.

You have a total of 5 unlockable Special Moves, and it will be up to you to use this feature: do you spend your time trying to unlock all of it in hope to make your gameplay easier, or ignore them completely in favor of balancing your Stats while pursuing the affection of your chosen love interest? It’s your choice!

Another use for Special Moves would be in the Heroics lessons, seeing as it might test how your Special Move fares against the opponent you picked.

Video Games

I would say that this particular element plays quite a big role in this game, since the MC learns and develops themselves by playing games. While you do have a set of games which you’ve owned, you’re able to purchase new games from the Video Game store. I would recommend doing this, as there are some neat ones which will help you greatly in your playthrough. But if you're not interested to explore them, that's fine too!

Each video game has a different effect, and it’s up to you to discover them! Or, perhaps, you could unlock a Special Move that allows you to know what effect each of the game has? 😉

What are Video Games being used for?

Most games will only increase specific Stat(s), but there are also others that can unlock Special Moves.

There is one game which helps you to unlock Stats or Special Moves of your classmates, which you can use in the Heroics lesson to pick a suitable opponent based on your current Stats.

In addition to all that, there are 2P games which require more than one person to play, and you could play them with your romance target when they’re available. On top of building your Cooperativeness, choosing the right answers during the gaming session will increase that character's affection.

Others

The basic functions behind some activities like studying, buying video games, and playing video games are done. I will probably move on to code the functions handling the Heroics lesson’s battles and the behind-the-scenes of when the player chooses to go to certain places.

I've also finished the two main custom screens, which is the Quirk and Games page. If I have time and the motivation, I'm guessing I'll be adding the two other additional screens I had thought of doing. We'll see.

Assets

This part is my nightmare, because I’m a perfectionist who’s far too picky when gathering resources…

But no assets = no game, so I did find several assets which I did like. This includes backgrounds, audios, background musics, and some sprites I was planning to use for developing the phone call function. I’m not going to list down all the things I found here, because I don’t think any of you would be interested in a long-ass list, but here’s an amazing background picture which I stumbled upon searching the dark abyss that is the internet:

Writing

I would have to say there isn't too much progress on this side yet, but I did decide on some story elements I want to insert into the game and scripted in a few scenes for the first day. I also managed to code in the dialogs for some common activities / places, like the video game store and a small part of school lunch time.

Honestly, I should probably create a sheet to identify how many scenes I would have to write? So all of us know the progress for this part of the development? ..... Let's see how it goes when my OCD flares up...

So I had to look up what a "TERF" is earlier because I actually didn't know what it means though I see it used very frequently on Tumblr. There's all these terms and labels and social media jargon for things that I don't know because I'm a noob and sit outside social circles where they are most often used. But anyway..., "TERF" is an acronym for "trans-exclusionary radical feminism". So if you get called one, it means you're being referred to as a "trans-exclusionary radical feminist". And I have been called one simply for not understanding very well what a "transgender" is. Or rather what the "trans" part specifically means. I thought it meant "transferring" but apparently I was very wrong about that. As a cisgender I try my hardest to understand as best I can from my own knowledge and my own ways of relation what it's like for someone who is trans. Try to understand the level of hate and disrespect they get for being trans. And I've come to the conclusion that that is impossible for me. I am not trans. So I'll never be able to fully understand the life of a person who is trans. But to use this lack of understanding as a way to say I exclude transpeople from my views and beliefs on human rights is too far out of context. It's completely wrong. And I am actually extremely hurt that anyone would ever think that way about me.

I can't explain things very well and I don't have the greatest understanding on the subject. This makes me ignorant at best. Someone who needs education. It does not make me a "TERF" because my intention is to support, protect and defend transpeople. Not do the opposite. I'm sorry you believe this way about me. But you are wrong about me. I will not accept your "views" of who I am and what I care about based on my lack of understanding and confusion on the subject material. Not when the last thing I want to do is hurt who the subject material it applies to......

I'll accept that:

I'm an idiot.

I'm stupid.

I need to be better educated.

But I am NOT trans-exclusionary.

However, I do accept the feminist part. I do identify with that label. I am a feminist. Not necessarily a radical one. But I certainly stand up for women's rights. And yes, that does include trans women too and gender nonconformity

You can call me that all you like. That part doesn't bother me at all. I'm proud to be referred to as a feminist. But I am not okay with being called trans-exclusionary. That's inaccurate. I have the upmost respect for transpeople. I think they are very brave and strong to go through what they do in all the effort to just be who they are. Not that they have a choice not to go through it. Not when there is so many haters out there for the trans community. Just know that I am not one of them. I never was and I never will be. I just lack understanding. I don't lack accepting. I lack knowledge. I don't lack compassion.

OKAY. Apparently this is forbidden knowledge because Tumblr literally closed the text box while I was writing this, and now I have to write it again. But OKAY. 

1. I’ve been on this website since 2013. So I can’t REMEMBER, but I wouldn’t be surprised IF there was a time I didn’t read someone’s rules. Because when I first started RPing, I was a HUGE NOOB to it. Therefore, it’s possible I could’ve not read someone’s rules because of that? But honestly, I have no recollection if I did! As for NOW? Yeah... I always have to read someone’s rules. Because this blog? Contains pretty heavy themes, therefore... I have to be sure I read what someone’s triggers are because I don’t want to accidentally bring something up and upset them. Also, rules are just very important... because many people may RP differently, y’know? Also, rules help me big time in deciding if I want to follow someone or not. (Sorry, but if rules are too cruelly written... most likely I’m not following.)

2. As said, I’ve been a part of the RPC for a LONG TIME NOW. And I LOVE causing in-character drama on the dashboard, as well as doing dash commentary. So, when you do that... you tend to mention other muses CONSTANTLY! And plus, some relationships are important, so they just get brought up in threads. Just today, Edward brought up another muse! Hell, he only referenced them as he didn’t even say their name!

3. OHOHOHO. I don’t think I’ve ever blocked many people, but on this account? I had to block at least 4 accounts, all for the same reason: fetishizing r*pe, or practically joking about it. Let me tell you this fun story (they might be reading this because they sent me lots of suicide-baiting anon hate. If they are... 🖕)  When I first made this account, NO ONE would follow me... even if I followed first, no one would follow back! I don’t know WHY this was?? I don’t know if the DC community was just SUS of me because I was new or what!! But yeah!! For months, I had practically NO ONE to write with. (I obviously don’t have that issue now!) Then I saw this other blog talking about how they were sad that no one would RP with them, and so... I related to them! I followed them and started talking to them because of this. They were already raising red flags to me, for one thing... their constant talk of wanting a children’s thing to be darker/edgier, then calling the creator a wuss for not doing so. But then I saw they made this post of their muse saying “what’s so wrong about shooting up a school and r*ping your brother?” (In which the muse’s brother replies, and then their character goes “CONSENSUAL r*pe!”) So that caused me to immediately block them. and wow! They did not take light to that, they sent me at least 5 anon hate messages which I then blocked the anon, and it stopped! (yay!) Then their FRIEND had the nerve to FOLLOW ME, and say “why did block my friend? They thought you two were friends... that’s all they want to know...” (as if they didn’t send me a bunch’a anon hate.) And it’s like... we only spoke to each other for about a week or less, I don’t think that’s really ‘friends.’ but okkkkkk. I’ve probably blocked other accounts on previous blogs of mine, buuuut... I don’t recall? Funny that all the accounts I’ve really blocked were on this one lol!

Judging a Book by It’s Cover

I have always believed that an avatar is a blank canvas in which we make uniquely and authentically ours. An avatar is how we want to be perceived by those around us. However, there are always situations in which people jump to conclusions and start their own drama based around avatar appearance. I find avatar creation a type of visual expression of the player that embodies their virtual selves. A lot of individuals feel threatened by people who are comfortable being their true selves. Because they are happy, they feel the need to interfere. "Why should so and so be happy if I can't be?" makes you wonder about the actual instability of individuals who inhabit some of these virtual environments. I have always perceived Second Life as somewhat of a virtual world trash bin. It is a fantastic virtual world if you meet the right people and hang out in the right places. I'll be honest; I'm not going to sugar coat it. I still enter Second Life, recently it's been sparse since I'm a teacher in a global pandemic. Yet, the time I do spend in this virtual world has lately been drama-free. Not to say that it was not before, but I tend to randomly find myself in the middle of the newest gossip right when I come back, whether it be from a hiatus, etc.

Second Life has a type of standard for avatars. If you don't look a specific way or in most people's eyes, you're not an "updated" avatar with the newest products and meshes, you are considered a noob or problematic to those around you. This is a reason I am not on Second Life as much as I was back around January. Negativity is so draining, why is it anyone's concern as to how you want yourself to look? I love virtual worlds for the pure fact that individuals can recreate themselves. Avatars are a modern extension of our own personality traits. Insulting the appearance of an avatar is the same as insulting the person. As cliché as this may sound, Why judge a book by its cover if you haven't attempted to read at least the first page? People are too quick to judge, and that's what's wrong with today's society of millennial's and gen z's. I'm the awkward middle man between the two generations. Honestly, it's safe to say that I sometimes wish I wasn't born in the era I currently live. Does anyone get the feeling like they want to live, but they just do not want to be "here" like on earth? I feel this way a lot of the time. I recently read the most heartbreaking post to me as someone who believes and cares so much about self-expression and avatar image/positivity. Apparently, in Second Life, there is a Roleplay sim by the name of Chi Tau City. A blogger here on Tumblr that helps me get through my writer's block by adding me into posts to discuss particular situations.

@thefallenbeast-imvu-stuff​ ran into an issue with the owner of this sim regarding his virtual appearance. What does it matter? What does it matter if an individual isn't wearing mesh? What if a person does not want to be fully updated? I know many Second Life users who do not want to update to the newest meshes. They are extremely expensive and let us be honest, I could spend that money on so many other things. But let's be honest here he was completely updated and was 100% confident and authentic because it's how he wanted to be perceived by other users. Why should it matter how an avatar looks? If your so bothered, block the avatar, but do not bring your drama into other people's lives who are minding their own business and living their best lives.

This user hasn't been on the sim in a very long time. I feel if you're a sim owner, yes, you are allowed to decide who can and cannot be on your sims. Sims are expensive, and if they own it, they should have a say. However, there is a sense of professionalism that comes with running a sim, especially a Roleplay sim. Many people will enter a day you created this sim because you wanted to share your idea and experience with a large community of individuals. With this community of individuals comes avatars of all styles, new and old, mesh and non-mesh. If you have an issue with avatar appearance, then you most likely have a problem with both yourself and many people in your reality. Most likely, this individual suffers from low self-confidence and finds it within the sim she had created. This is because when you have a sense of power, and you use it for a negative cause, you start to notice the effects in real-time. I will be honest with all of you. It is individuals like this sim owner who I feel incredibly sorry for. If you find more solace in judging an avatar's appearance rather than their actions, that is just extremely shallow.

Note to this individual who feels they should judge another based on the appearance of their avatar: Please, next time you decide to make standards of how avatars should look, please update yours in the process and stop being petty because you feel threatened from your reality not going as you planned. Taking your emotions out inside of a virtual world is not going to serve a purpose. It is only going to come back to bite you in the end.

In conclusion, if you have the need to judge someone based on their looks rather than their personality, you are what is wrong in these virtual worlds and their communities. I do not sugar coat things, and I do not cover up the obvious if you don't like what I have to say and the opinions I project, please kindly leave or don't read my posts. Thank you! And I hope to see a lot of you in my upcoming posts. I do apologize for not posting as often as I usually do as real Life has gotten in the way. Still, I hope this post brings some positivity into your virtual lives. Always feel confident in the way you project yourself through your avatar as long as you are confident and like the way you look, why does it matter to anyone else? I would not support any sims that judge based on appearance instead of action, but that's just me.

A lot of jeering and what not happens, Harry’s insecurities get the better of him and he tries to hook up with a girl that night

He is watching this happen sober, poor thing.

but Harry isn’t getting any action tonight, turning the girl down instead, murmuring something about it not feeling right

Draco takes the initiative to tell Harry that he’s had too much, and he’ll side along him to Grimmauld if he wanted to

Harry agrees, and it takes a lot of rearranging for Draco to make sure that Harry doesn’t get splinched in the whole shebang back home

They get to Grimmauld place, and its actually clean

Draco shaking Harry awake so he could take him to his room to rest

they make their way up the stairs, and Harry is giggling because he keeps slipping and would’ve probably died an untimely death due to refusing to take his socks off a flight of laquered hard wood stairs

and once they reach the door of Harry’s room, Harry tries to make a move on Draco

He’s cupping Draco’s pale cheek in one hand, staring at his lips despite the haze of the alcohol

but Draco pulls away.

Draco is hurt, because Harry would only dare touch him while he’s pissed off his arse like this

“Oh Merlin, Harry, don’t do this to me.” he hisses, as he drags Harry into the room.

“Wha?” and then Harry is dropped onto his bed with Draco removing his robes so he could sleep better

“Stay with me.” Harry slurred out, but Draco could only shake his head.

“For fuck’s sake, what was I thinking when I thought you were actually different? You’re just as cruel as everyone else is.” 

fuck me that legitimately hurt me when I typed that one out

harry turns over, staring at Draco as best he could without his glasses

Draco’s just murmuring to himself, wiping at his face hurriedly because oh no, here come the waterworks.

“I’m giving up on you, and that is final.” 

Draco says it more to himself than to Harry, but Harry hears it, and he’s not sure if its real or nah

He takes the liberty of flooing back to his estate, just to see Blaise and Pansy already lounging in his couch.

bold of you to assume the Malfoys didn’t invest in real estate, jk tho.

its been years since anyone has been back at the Manor, with Narcissa being in France and Draco in this smaller estate

Pansy takes one good look at Draco’s face and pats the space between her and Blaise and takes a pillow on her lap

Theo takes in the entire scene and just goes back into the kitchen, wine seems to be a better choice than tea at the moment

Draco plops down on the couch, burying his face into the throw pillow on Pansy’s lap

“There, there, pet.” She offers, though her perpetually ruby lips are already in a frown.

Blaise just takes Draco’s legs to lay them over his thighs, hands lingering on Draco’s knee

“Is this a bad time to say I told you so?”

Theo just sits wordlessly on the floor, leaning his head on Draco’s belly

I WANT THEM TO CUDDLE OKAY FIGHT ME 

“Draco, Darling, what’s wrong? What’d Potty do?”

“I thought he was different, Pans. I thought I had a chance. I thought he may love me someday.”

Harry still doesn’t know if Draco was real or not, but the following weekend, he finds out that Ron has been assigned as his partner.

Draco requested for a partner change, and has been actively avoiding Harry in the office.

of course, like with any romcom gone wrong, it is only now that Saint Potter realises that ‘hmm, something is up.’

He also realises how much of a better team he and Draco made, compared to him and Ron, because nobody got the paperwork done between them 

Harry realises that he misses Draco as a partner

but Draco somehow had the luck of being assigned solo cases that needed to be stationed really far away

the months following the partner reassignment, he manages to see Draco merely three times, and in those three times, Draco had only nodded at him.

This is where Harry realises: i have fucked up

Of course Harry attempts to talk or confront Draco about the thing happening between them

“Potter, I need space, and if you are supposedly as concerned as you are showing, you will keep your nose out of my business.”

whoop, obviously Draco is mad, but Harry doesn’t know why and he’s confused because he really misses the older male, but there are issues

FAST FORWARD TO HARRY ACTUALLY ASKING FOR HELP

ron is just as helpless as he is, hermione is just mum because wow harry this is a major screw up

luna is the one who actually gets to the point, telling Harry, ‘yup you’re in love with him and you’ve done fucked up’

but she’s optimistic, saying, you two just need to talk

ANOTHER TIME JUMP YUP WE ARE JUST SAVING THIS PLOT AT THIS POINT

Draco ends with a case involving a new drug that was supposedly being manufactured at this abandoned ship at some port

((i think its obvious I am not from the British Isles at this point okay plus this was done in an hour, liberties were taken and I am not sorry))

He gets ambushed and ends up getting chained to something he can’t get out of himself because he’s drugged and wandless, so no wandless magic

Harry gets suspicious that Draco’s partner gets back unscathed, but Draco is nowhere to be found

He grills the other auror for info and apparates to the ship, where whoop, it is on fire.

oh no.

cue on Harry’s gryffindor lack of self-preservation, where hE STILL GOES INTO THE SHIP TO FIND DRACO

he does find Draco, but idk the ship breaks, structural integrity is getting weak so he doesnt reach Draco in time 

BUT HE DIVES IN NONETHELESS

and sees Draco struggling to breathe and get out of his bounds

He spells off the cuffs, and drags Draco to the surface, and proceeds to send a patronus to Hermione

Hermione’s a healer in this au, okay

Draco is turning blue, and to say that Harry was panicking was an understatement 

He’s not breathing either, even with Harry’s attempts at CPR

Hermione arrives and does the wizarding equivalent of using a defibrillator 

????

yup I guess we’ll go with that for now and she also does a bunch of other stuff

Draco’s finally coughing all the water out his lungs, he’s breathing, albeit a little shallow and shaky at best

Hermione calls for back up because she can’t apparate them both, and Harry’s trembling--from the cold, or the adrenaline subsiding in his blood, but he wasn’t letting go of Draco’s hand

even when he was getting wheeled into the ER at St. Mungo’s, Hermione had to physically pry his hands off

‘he’s safe now, Harry. Let me have a look at you, now.’

Harry wants to say that he’s fine but he did jump into the sea in the middle of fucking winter, and the look Hermione is giving him is absolutely terrifying so he relents, murmuring that they should be tending to Draco instead

‘They are, and I need to tend to you now because I know you’ll scare off any other healer I ask to check up on you.’

Harry’s changed into warmer clothes, and he’s got a cup of tea in his hands to warm them

they’re still shaking, he doesn’t understand why the fuck he can’t calm down and puts it down

He just starts crying. 

The build-up of months of stress and the day’s events was too much for him to handle

‘Fuck, ‘Mione, I saw him turn blue. He wasn’t breathing, I couldn’t get him to breathe.’

‘He’s alive Harry, Draco’ll be okay.’

‘You don’t understand, I felt him die, ‘Mione.’

Of course, out of all people, Harry would understand how it feels to tap dance with death

Hermione just comforts him, willing away the tears in her eyes because it feels like this is the one time she can’t help Harry at all.

Ron just skids into the hall, and sees Hermione and Harry, and hugs them both without a word

back to draco, who has been under observation for a good two days and has finally woken up 

he sees Harry tucked into himself in the frankly ugly leather sofa by the window, head lolling forwards and back enough

Draco pulls himself up and groans, remembering how he got is ass handed to him in that ship and staring at the yellowing bruises on his arms 

Harry suddenly lets out a snore, which makes Draco snort but oh no what is in his nose

‘Circe’s tits, that fucking hurt.’ and he’s coughing up a storm enough to wake Harry up, who stares at him for a few seconds before he’s on his feet and pouring him a glass of water

‘What else do you need? the loo? food?’

‘A healer.’

‘oh. yes. yes, need to tell them you’re awake.’ 

‘Potter.--Potter!’ Draco manages to call after him before he got too far off

‘what happened.’

Harry explains what happened, the ship, traces of a drug in his system, almost drowning and what not

‘I’ll get someone, yup.’

Draco just shakes his head because he knew Harry was keeping something from him, but lets it go

he gets an extensive check up procedure, which is peculiar because this has been the first time they have been this attentive to his vitals 

he needed to stay for a few more days for monitoring, which is weird to Draco because I just fell into the ocean what is the big deal

A nurse comments offhandedly that he’s lucky that he survived drowning and near hypothermia

‘excuse me what’

‘From what I’ve heard, and judging from your vitals, you were minutes away from death’

‘enlighten me.’

‘Healer granger had to revive you using a spell she developed based off of Muggle Tech, she had to shock your heart.’

‘I was dead?’

‘you should’ve seen auror potter, he wouldn’t leave until your vitals stabilised. Healer Granger couldn’t even heal him properly so she had to administer a sleeping draught so he could finally rest.’

‘oh.’

hermione walks in, ‘oh, indeed.’

"I sent him home, if you were wondering.” Hermione says.

Hermione seemed to be able to read his expression, as she had just provided him with what he needed.

"He'd been sleeping here three days and that isn't doing anything for his injuries. Refused to get checked, so I just healed him so he'd actually go to sleep in a proper bed."

"So how are you feeling?" Hermione asked, already waving her wand as a quill hovered behind her, the quiet scratching against parchment, the only sound in Draco's room aside from his steadily better breathing. 

"Oh that's good. We managed to drain all the water from your lungs, no tingling in any of your limbs?" 

Draco shook his head. 

"No symptoms of hypothermia either." Hermione murmured a lumos under her breath, asking him to follow it and observing his eye movement.

Draco is just overwhelmed at this point, because this is the second day he had to endure these tests and Granger was terribly much detailed than the other healers

"You're almost well enough to be discharged, but I'll check you again tomorrow." She replied curtly, tucking her wand into her sleeve and the clipboard into her arm.

"Granger." Draco called, just as Hermione was about to leave the room. "Thank you, for saving my life. You have my thanks."

Hermione nodded, almost smiling at him. 

"Quite frankly, Malfoy, if Harry hadn't found your body, there wouldnt have been anyone to save, but you're still welcome."

draco is just dumbfounded in his bed, again.

The following day he gets the go signal to be discharged as soon as hermione finished her check up spells, and blaise and pansy were to pick him up

But harry manages to catch him just as he got dressed, immediately flushing as Draco's silent gaze fell onto him.

"H-hullo Malfoy, how are you doing?" 

OF ALL THE THINGS HARRY HAD TO SAY. HULLO.

‘Better.’

brace yourselves dace and i just ran thru this, dialogue is subpar at best, but wow they are finally communicating.

"Uhm, that's it. I'll uh--i'll find hermione."

Draco rolled his eyes, calling out to him. "Potter."

"Uhm, ye...yes Malfoy?"

"Thank you. For finding me. If it weren't for you," draco breathed out, thankfully smoothly this time. "And granger, i'd be as good as fully dead."

Harry instantaneously lit up and frowned at the same time."Of course, Malfoy." 

Harry nodded. "Anything for you." He murmured under his breath, before turning away.

As soon as Draco was left to his own devices--tightening the laces on his boots, basically anything to just pass the time as Blaise and Pansy were just perpetually late--he heard Harry's god awful sneakers skid in the hallway and enter his room again.

"What is it, Potter, already come back for me to repay my debts?" He asked boredly, leaning back onto the hospital bed.

oh lord. Harry looked terrible.

Harry looked like he was about to throw up--green eyes erratic, lower lip between his teeth as he gnawed on to, hands shaky as he stuffed back into his pocket jacket, and out again.

"Please don't give up on me." He whispered, catching Draco by surprise.

"What?"

"The night you helped me get back home. I thought I was just too pissed on Tequila that I didn't even think you were real--"

draco's clamming up on himself, his arms are crossed, face guarded as Harry stood before him as his complete opposite, his vivid green eyes almost desperate as his lip wobbled.

"But I've died twice, Draco. I can tell apart what’s real and the pigment of my pissed brain."

"I'm sorry if you think I was cruel--if I hurt you without realising it, I'm sorry, please, please just don't give up on me just yet."

Draco is for a lack of a better word--Gobsmacked.

the boy who lived--no, that applies to them both now--is in his hospital room, in the verge of tears and looked like he was a sentence away from passing out.

"I'm sorry Draco," Harry trailed off, his voice breaking as he said Draco's name and using his hoodie sleeves to wipe at his cheeks as the tears rolled down.

"I was scared, and I didn't know it was okay to like blokes, I didn't know it was okay to like you, but I've ruined it, haven't I?"

Draco's heart is in pieces at this point tbh 

The first time he hears his name from Harry's lips, Harry's crying.

Draco sees Blaise at the corner at the corner, but luckily the other male was able to read the room and quickly dragged Pansy away, her retort lowering in volume as they went farther down the hall

"I'm sorry--fuck, i'm sorry for wasting your time." Harry said, sniffing as he wiped his face on his sleeve, running a hand thru the wild tangle of curls on his head. 

"Just ignore whatever I said. Get well, Malfoy."

i am: weak for curly haired Harry okay, humour me.

Circe, Draco thought, this is just getting painful to watch.

Because it seemed like he was being the wanker, making Harry cry even when the oblivious jackass was the one that started this whole fiasco

And Draco couldnt find it in himself to cut into Harry's blubbering at all. 

"Circe's tits, stop with the blubbering, Potter."

Oops. Not the best choice of words.

"What?"

Draco just stood up, and met Harry halfway and cupped his cheeks to press their lips together, mostly just to shut him up.

oh, wow. 

Draco could get used to this, and Harry let out a choked sound that was akin to a gasp and a whimper before he kissed back.

Draco just says, "bring me home, harry."

And just shoos blaise and pansy off.

Which gets him the finger from pansy and a judgmental eyebrow from blaise

‘I make arrangements for a portkey at the last minute and this is what we get?’

‘at least it will make the cease of Draco’s whining.’

Both Harry and Draco spend their days in Draco’s estate just cuddling, and okay fine making out.

They finally talk and clear things out.

and Harry finally feels a moment of peace after nearly 25 years of being chased by a murderous madman and multiple criminals 

no hanky panky yet jesus draco died ffs

The following week, someone just yells from Draco’s floo.

and it’s loud enough to hear in the second floor in Draco’s bedroom.

"I know you died Malfoy, but you have to come to work."

its robards. 

he’s two aurors short, and they’re his best aurors.

"Please bring Potter too, just because you two have died doesnt mean you can escape the paperwork. "

Harry groans, while Draco merely laughs though its muffled against Harry's shirt, where his face is currenly buried into.
