Its a pointless digital trinket and (to me) its FUNNY. I think its absolutely hilarious that Tumblr was able to capitalize off the twitter check-mark fiasco. I applaud them, get that money. I bought it because its a fun addition to my handle and because at the end of the day it helps them keep the lights on. I'd rather give money to this site for a dumb meme than to a site run by the worst guy or give anymore of my data to the Zuckerfuck meta mistake. This isn't like buying an NFT. We know.
