More Trans Varian stuff?? DEPRESSING ASS HC FOR PRISON TIME

Varian not being allowed to keep his self made binder in the dungeons, so he binds with bandages.

If we go with the common fic interpretation that Varian was mistreated by guards in prison, he specifically uses bandages intended for his injuries to bind instead.

Varian invented binders in Tangled-verse btw I don't make the rules.

sometimes reading fics where a character binds with bandages is crazy because of how clear it is the author has never done it. “he hadn’t taken them off in 4 days” bro. the last time i bound with bandages slightly too long i ended up tits out on the floor of my school’s gender neutral bathroom coughing + wheezing. idk maybe i’m just weak but there is no transmasc on earth strong enough to bandage bind for as long as these fictional characters seem to be doing it

Chapter Three

I paid for two weeks in my little room with no fireplace and only a small bed, and carried my belongings upstairs. It was the middle of the night. Much too late to be thinking about anything. I washed my face with watcher in the pitcher on my nightstand, and locked my bedroom door. Stripped down to my long undertrousers and baggy undershirt, and sat on the edge of my bed. I felt my chest. It was aching all the way around, where I had kept it in bindings for so long. It had been a number of days now since I had been able to breathe in all the way.

Galen, Gale for short, is the youngest son of a once prominent knight named Alistar, a stubborn man with high expectations. At times those expectations get too high, as Gale's mother succumbs to illness. After Alistar's untimely passing, Gale took up his father's sword (and attitude) as Athur's knight and loyal, though unwilling, bodyguard.

Gale-coded songs that I refuse to elaborate on that I jotted down are Hot Faced by Margaux, Bird's Nest by Jordaan Mason, and Honeywell by Clem Turner.

Though not all of me this time I could call out Brams @belovedknightdraws for just being Gale, I love you dear. Once again, going off of original old designs but fully fleshed out and tangible now. Oh! and featuring Jinx, Gale's hound. Not a huge dog person but he's a good boy. Like I said on Arthur's, he's had 10 years of development, and although I drew them constantly, I'm only comfortable sharing them now. Not the old drawings, those just get to be alluded to in these more "official" character sheets.
