Green
Set during Act 2. Karlach needs help fixing her teddy bear and wants to air some grievances about Astarion's deal with Raphael.
He smells hot leather before he smells her blood. As if he needs either to detect her approach; she has the loudest footsteps of any of them. But soon the scent wafts verdantly in through the pinned flap of his tent, bright, grassy, and puckering. Citrus and something young and vegetal, intermingled with the tang of the infernal iron that drives it all. Completely antithetical to the tiefling’s fiery appearance: green.
Karlach clasps her hands behind her back and squats in front of the opening, blocking the heat of the fire he had been basking in. Annoyed, Astarion lays the book he's reading across his chest and looks quizzically at her.
“Hey, fangs! Oh–” she says, noticing his book, "Sorry, am I bothering you?”
"Yes.”
"Haha! You're a funny one. Anyway, um. Listen, I was wondering if you could do me a solid? Tav tells me you're not bad with a needle. Not surprising, I guess, given your propensity for pointy objects."
How could Tav have– Oh . His underwear . Well. Ignoring the means by which his embroidery skill had been revealed, Astarion raises one silver eyebrow at Karlach, bidding her to continue.
“Okay. Promise not to laugh. But do you think you can fix him?" From behind her back, she produces a threadbare stuffed toy; a bear. It's made from a thick-weighted brown knit, worn fuzzy with age, and has two glossy black buttons sewn in for eyes. The lighter colored thread used to attach them gives the impression of Xs for pupils, a dead-eyed stare, which is accurate enough to its current condition: there is a large tear partially beheading the beast, its stuffing leaking out the busted seam.
"His name is Clive,” she says morosely. Clive and Karlach turn their pleading glances on him, and Astarion can't decide who looks more pitiful.
“Where did you even get that thing?"
“I found him," she declares proudly, holding it aloft. "He got left behind in my room at Last Light; all alone, poor little bugger. So I nicked him. Figured his last friend might not be coming back any time soon.”
“Looks like it might have been better off where it was. What happened?"
She rubs at the back of her neck sheepishly. "Well, now that I won't burn him, I was. You know. Hugging him. And then Scratch walked up and wanted to play, and– Scratch is so soft , did you know?– so I was teasing him, which probably wasn't the nicest thing to do to either of them, and Scratch is really fast. And unfortunately for Clive, Scratch’s teeth aren't as soft as the rest of him." She lets out a nervous laugh. "So do you think, maybe, you could help him out?”
“I could ," he replies, propping himself up on an elbow. "I'm just not sure that's the best use of our resources while we're stuck in this… accursed wasteland. And I'm tired of cleaning up that mutt’s messes."
Karlach’s eyes shine beseechingly, lower lip jutting out. Clive bobbles miserably. Astarion grimaces, sits up, and abruptly snatches him from her hands.
"Yay! Thanks, fangs!”
He sighs, digging through his pack for his sewing kit. This is stupid. He's getting a new slash in his overclothes damn near every day, and he doesn't have the materials to spare on a toy .
And yet.
He's not able to find a similar colored thread. “Red is the closest I have," he says, crossing his legs and threading the needle through with crimson.
“That's okay. He'll have a bit of a rugged look– a cool neck scar, like someone else I know."
Astarion frowns and glances up at her. " ‘ Rugged ’ isn't exactly the image I strive to portray.”
“Oh. No, I know. I just meant your scars look cool," she clarifies awkwardly. Somehow, he doesn't think she's talking about the ones on his neck.
Earlier that day, when they'd set out from Last Light, a certain infernal visitor had been waiting in the parlor. Raphael had stripped him bare with a snap of his clawed fingers, revealing the malevolent latticework of scars encircling his back to the entire room. The whole thing had been rather violating– hence why he’s hiding in his tent instead of soaking up the heat from the fire. He curls in on himself and pierces the soft yarn through.
He's quiet as he works, deftly stitching the fabric together as he presses the bear's innards back where they belong. Karlach doesn't seem to know how to cope with silence, bouncing a leg with pent energy, practically sizzling like water boiling in a pot. Eventually, she spills over.
“So how did you get so good at that?" She peers in closer from where she's settled at the threshold of his tent, observing the fine needlework.
He pulls the needle high, closing a stitch. “I've picked up a lot of little skills over the last few centuries. This one has been particularly useful."
“Huh. I always figured you had a tailor or something, with your whole Upper City accent and, well, everything. Who knew you could get your hands dirty.”
The problem is that she really has no idea how dirty they are- or, rather, bloody. Nobody knows about that. Hells, only Tav knows about Cazador, and even then he's spared most of the… finer details.
"Yes, well. I'm full of surprises, aren't I?” he replies cryptically. He's had enough of his secrets revealed today already. “Why do you even keep this thing around?" he asks to change the subject, adjusting the bear on his lap.
"He kinda reminds me of one my mum got me when I was a kid. I was weak to nostalgia and his cute li’l face. Ain't he adorable?” She leans in to poke at the bear’s overstuffed cheeks, and Astarion swats her out of his working space.
"He's a liability, this one. Falling apart at the seams.”
“Aw, c’mon. Like you've never kept anything around for sentimental reasons?"
The scant belongings in Astarion's tent are answer enough; mostly just pillows and various rags from the road, with a few books and pilfered trinkets scattered among them. A useless silver mirror, a few chalices for wine. Nothing sentimental. “No. Not a lot to be sentimental about. I don't remember my childhood."
"O-oh. I'm sorry. I guess it was so long ago, anyway, it would be hard to remember.”
He's pretty sure that's not the reason. "Are you calling me old? I may be immortal, but I'll have you know I'm a very reasonable age for an elf. I'm certainly no relic like Halsin .”
She puts her hands up, seeing that she's dug a hole for herself. "No! Mate, I would never. You look very good for your age. Or, no, not for your age because you're not. Old. It's just. You're, what, two-hundred and fifty? That's older than I'll ever be, or, not me specifically, because, well…”
The words die on her tongue, but what's been left unsaid hangs heavily between them: She doesn't have that much time left . Dammon had given her the news shortly after turning her temperature down from scorching to sweltering . And that's why Astarion is wasting his precious floss on this ridiculous bear, because he knows how awful it would feel to be given pity, but at least he can oblige her the favor she asked.
All of the stuffing has been sewn back inside the bear’s head. Astarion begins to double back to strengthen the new seam, and he looks very intently at his work as he knits his eyebrows together and asks, “How do you do it?"
“How do I do what?" she says, pulling her knees in with her arms and resting her cheek on her bicep.
“You are so… alive . Despite everything. Despite what you've been through.” Even her blood smelled like life, lush and blooming.
"Ha. I dunno. I just can't believe that I've really made it out of Avernus, so, you know, carpe dime or whatever.”
"I just… don't understand. You're going to die.” It's not pity when he says it, only hard truth.
She hugs her knees closer and lets out a shaky breath. “I don't really want to talk about it. Better to just enjoy things while I can. Otherwise I'd just be a ghost already."
He knows all too well how it feels to be a ghost.
“You're not angry? At Gortash, at Zariel?"
Heat flares in her chest, exhausting from the vents on her shoulders and filling the tent with the inferno of her emotions. “Of course I am! I'm right pissed. And if there's anything I can do about it, then both those fuckers will get what's coming to them.”
"Good.”
"I just… have to take every good thing that comes my way for now. I’ve done some not great things in my past. I regret just standing by when Elturel fell. I hurt a lot of people for Gortash that, looking back, seem like maybe they didn't deserve it. But right now, I'm finally more than just a weapon for causing destruction. For the first time in way too long, I can touch people again. And I've got a lot of good people around me who deserve some hugs.” She offers a small smile, but Astarion shifts away minutely.
"Bear’s done,” he says, holding it out for inspection. A vermilion scar marrs the seam between its head and body; it really does look like an injury.
"Aw, Clive, you look great! Glad to see you back with the living. Hey, Astarion, what do you think about adding a detail– giving him his own vampire bite? You did bring him back to life, after all.”
He knows she's trying to make him feel better, but it's doing anything but. "I wouldn't curse him that way,” he says softly, packing up his supplies.
Karlach is uncharacteristically quiet as she fluffs Clive to redistribute his recently reintroduced stuffing, pursing her lips.
"About your master–"
“We don't have to do this." His back is to her, hands in his pack, and he can feel her stare pricking through his clothes where she now knows the scars hide.
“No, that's not fair. Nothing is fair about anything right now. But you talked to me about my shit and I'm returning the favor whether you want it or not."
"I–”
"Mama K is talking now. You can just listen, you don't have to tell me anything if you don't want to.”
Astarion is silent, but he turns and sits back down, eyes downcast like a chastised child.
Karlach continues. "Listen, I don't know anything about your master or how he treated you. But I do know what it feels like to have to serve someone you don't believe in, and to have them fuck up your body without asking. To mark it as their own. I didn't know how to bring this up earlier, but… your scars. The ones on your back. They're in Infernal, aren't they?”
He nods; Tav had been able to identify that, at least, after their… tryst.
"I picked up a little, in the Blood War. Why didn't you come to me? I'd gladly help you out as best I can. You don't have to take this deal, Astarion. You can't trust a devil.”
The thought hadn't escaped him; he figured she might be able to read it. But he wasn't sure she'd be able to decipher the full context, and if he wanted any chance at killing Cazador, then he needed to know as much as he could. And, equally as important, he didn't think he could suffer the shame of anyone at camp knowing the full story. Asking Raphael just seemed the safer option; a fair trade.
"As much as he puffs himself up, he's a cambion, not a devil. And I'm sure he'll respect his end of the bargain. I'm prepared to pay his price, whatever it may be."
“He's a creep who's preying on you because he knows how badly you want it. He's gonna demand something that will just come to bite you in the ass later. That's how it always goes. Please, just let me try. If I can't make sense of it, then go ahead and accept the deal. But let me try."
He’s frozen in indecision, unsure if he can trust her with this. "I’m not sure–”
"You want a sample?” she interrupts, gesturing to the tattooed runes peeking out from under the shoulder strap of her top; it's easy to make out, dark ink contrasting against the sudden glow from within her chest. “This one says fucking Zariel ."
Maybe she understands, he thinks. Maybe he can trust someone else with this. The thin weight of his shirt on his back feels heavier knowing that it and one word are all that stands between him and naked vulnerability. He could just say yes; he could let her look, close himself off to the fear and let himself be lulled by whatever altruistic reasons she claims. But doubt whispers from the back of his mind: she's backed into a corner just like him, if not moreso, and that makes her dangerous . They both want to live, and they're clawing at scraps with all they've got. If she needs his help someday, she'll demand it of him in return. At least the terms of Raphael's deal will be predictable. The cambion’s words echo in his mind: What's better than a devil you don't know? A devil you do.
And there's also the other thing. Astarion is a shitty person and if Karlach truly expects nothing in return, then he doesn't deserve her help. She doesn't even know the depths of his depravity, and he doesn't really feel like sharing. He's ruined, and she's not.
And so, for the first time he can remember when someone was trying to get his clothes off, Astarion says: “No."
"Okay.” She's crestfallen, but to her credit, she doesn't push it.
He expects her to get up and leave now that his task is completed and he's outright rejected her in favor of a devil, but she doesn't. She sits with him a while, her steady warmth radiating over his skin. It feels nice, if he lets himself enjoy it. Clive’s dead eyes peer dolefully at him from within the safety of her embrace.
“If he takes something that hurts you… just know that I'm always down to give a devil a good smack-down. It's kind of my specialty– this tattoo says ‘demonsbane’. Just say the word.”
Astarion thinks the words ring a little hollow, because, from his perspective, taking on Raphael in combat seems like a death sentence, but he appreciates the thought nonetheless. “I can't believe you're sitting here offering up your demon-slaying services while hugging a teddy bear."
"It's only what Clive would want for the person who patched him up.”
"He'd be more useful if he stayed well out of the reach of foul canine beasts in the future.”
"Yeah yeah, I learned my lesson. Thank you Astarion, though, really. I don't have a lot in this world aside from him and you lot so… just doing my best to keep it all together.”
She sets Clive aside and pivots to her knees, moving slowly so as to give Astarion opportunity to escape if he wants to; her tadpole broadcasts her intentions. He warrs briefly with himself but is ultimately unable to convince himself to push her away, and he winds up wrapped in her arms. He knows she's been cooled to a reasonable degree, but he still flinches, because the difference between them is so stark . Her skin blazes against his, even through his shirt, and when he finally brings himself to relax slightly, his cool cheek on her shoulder prickles from the contact. The whirr ing of her mechanical heart is strange in his ears, and all at once, he brings his own arms to grip tight to her shirt; that beating, this warmth could vanish at any moment. She was his only proof that you could go through hell and not come out completely chewed up and broken and bitter, so of course the universe couldn't allow her to slip through unscathed. It wasn't fair– but nothing ever was.
“My… master,” he starts as she pulls away, leaving him feeling bitterly cold from the loss of her. "His name is Cazador. Cazador Szarr."
“Huh. I think I've heard that name before."
“I'm not surprised– the bastard has his claws sunk all over Baldur's Gate. He prefers to exert his influence from the shadows, but he's too ostentatious for it sometimes."
“You know," she says, thinking aloud, “he sounds like another evil arsehole I know. Gortash was always trying to expand his political influence through various shady dealings. Hey, listen. If you won't let me talk you out of that deal with Raphael, then let's make a deal of our own. You help me get revenge on Gortash, and I help you take down Cazador. I mean, I'd probably help out anyway ‘cause it just makes me fume thinking about any of my people getting hurt, but solidarity, yeah?"
Astarion flashes a fanged grin. "Now there's an agreement I can get behind. Blood for blood.” He holds out a hand cordially, and she takes it up with such force that his arm is nearly removed from his shoulder.
"That's what I'm talking about, soldier! Hah– sorry,” she says, noticing the way his face twinged at the power behind her handshake. "Been a long time since I've gotten to do that. Feels nice.”
"It does.”
There's a loud snorfling sound from behind her– she whips her head around. "Scratch! No! You leave Clive alone.” She pulls the bear out of reach of the dog’s curious nose and makes to leave the tent. "Astarion, will you throw the ball for him? He's got too much energy.”
His first instinct is to respond with a resounding No, I won't have anything to do with that filthy creature , but something within him is stirred by his conversation with Karlach. If he had to put a name on it– hope. He decides that he's going to try not to be a ghost any longer. So he throws the ball.

Diabolik Lovers|| Cannibalistic Love
Part One
TW: Death , mention of drugs , big surprise but cannibalism
Omg , the beginning of Lillian’s STORY?! I actually did it?
Death of a loved one|| Lillian A.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“KEEP RUNNING LILLIAN!” My mother screamed, I did what she asked but the burning silver in my side made it hard. Why are the vampires in werewolf territory? This isn’t their place. If I wasn’t stabbed with silver I could’ve shifted into a wolf , much faster than a vampire in that form.
I ran and ran until everything went painfully silent. I looked around and I felt worry when I realised that I’m alone. Where’s mother? Oh no. I ran back , it’s dumb I know but I can’t just leave her with them, she would’ve done the same for me. As I ran back I caught caught a strong smell of wolf blood which worried me and enticed me but I shook off the thirst.
“Mother?! Mother where are…” I stopped in my tracks when I saw the same crowd of vampires that attacked us. They’re eating her. They’re all crowding around her and eating her like animals. They don’t even see me , they’re just too busy sinking their filthy fangs into her.
I stood there, hearing the sounds of blood, squishy organs and the sound of rubber snapping even though it’s mothers flesh.
I didn’t scream nor cry but I wanted to throw up. While they devour my mother the wound in my side started hurting again. Badly. The adrenaline rush must have died with her too. The pain took over and my legs gave in, I’m on the ground. I can’t move.
I’m next.
They’re going to eat me too.
I thought I died before waken up to a bright light. “M-mother?….mother?….” My voice sounded dry , whatever I witnessed must be one of my sick nightmares. The softness I felt on my back told me I was on a bed, not my bed though.
Then I seen his face, Silas. My father.
“Oh sweetie, I’m sorry but mother is gone” The crushing reality that it wasn’t a nightmare brought me to tears. I watched her die and I did nothing.
Im for sure I’m the hospital in the demon world, not sure who found me. I’ve been giving painkillers or just some strong drugs because I can barely move due to dizziness. Atleast the pain in my side is gone.But so is my mother. The only person, ever , who was on my side is dead and gone and there is no one else to blame but me for leaving her and then just watch her die.
I’m stuck with him now. I’m stuck with Silas , the fucker who gave me the vampire side I hate so much. Mother didn’t want me forcefully marry into royalty , she wanted my freedom. She wanted my happiness. My mother cared about how I felt. Silas only cares about himself and his own gains.
“Just go back to sleep Lillian, you’ve already endured enough I think” Silas couldn’t care less, probably fed up of me. You fucking think Silas? I was nearly killed by my other half’s who don’t even see the vampire side and I watched them cannibalise my mother and you think I’ve endured enough? I wish those vampires ate me now.
“They ate my mother ,father…they a-ate her” my voice was weak but the pain and anger was very there. Silas sighed “Yes well your mother did have a habit of eating vampires, maybe they wanted revenge” The witches wanted revenge for their sister that got kidnapped by vampires for their blood. Yet they’re viewed as the bad guys.
“T-they stabbed me with silver…father.” If I wasn’t drugged up I would be screaming at him. How can he be so calm about his wife, the mother of his daughter be murdered and his daughter possibly died?
“That shouldn’t have happened…” Silas mumbled and walked over to my bed side , he slowly stroked my hair. I hate when he does that. “It’s unfortunate you had to witness her death” finally he recognised something that isn’t about himself.
“What…what will happen now?” I’m curious about my fate now that mother is dead. She can’t stop Silas from doing anything. I don’t see myself lasting long without my mother, she was all I had.
“Sleep now Lillian, you’ll need to rest before I tell you anything” The nausea has been made worse with that.
What’s going to be happen to me now?

Combined Mushy May prompts 4 (first kiss) and 8 (first time)!!
Explicit Mountain/Swiss! (Approx. 2,600 words)
S: Copia takes the ghouls out for a night of bowling and it ends with Swiss and Mountain in bed together <3
Bonding time for them all, the Cardinal had said, but as Swiss fell to his knees in dismay, he wanted nothing to do with Rain and Dewdrop.
The water ghoul's boisterous laughter along with Dew's taunting filled his ears. He also heard cheers but they did nothing to uplift his spirits as he reluctantly got back onto his feet.
"Aw, c'mon, stop being a sore loser, Swiss!" The multi ghoul made a face and stuck his tongue out at the water ghoul as he walked into the arms of his team.
"Stupid bowling ball…" Unfortunately the fire ghoul heard his comment.
"Sure buddy, blame the ball for your shit throw, hah!" Dewdrop snickered and yelped when a hand smacked against his head. "Don't feel sorry for him! You're on my team, Aeth." Dew huffed and stuck his tongue out at the multi ghoul before turning his attention back onto Rain.
Swiss rolled his eyes before looking at his team who were attempting to comfort him with words and pats on the back.
"It's okay, Swiss. Splits are hell on Earth - you did amazing!" Swiss sighed as he looked at his team. Cirrus had a fiery look in her eye, just as riled up as he was. Copia attempted to give him a reassuring look as he ran his knuckles against each other. Mountain looked down at him with a smile as he gently patted his head.
"We must believe in nostro terra, yes? We are not done yet!" Swiss looked over at the Cardinal with a pout and nodded as he released another sigh. Copia looked up at Mountain and awkwardly patted his shoulder. "Believe, ghoul."
"Oh c'mon, guys! Can someone bowl before I go for you?!" Cirrus hissed, baring her fangs at the other team, causing Copia's to stumble and his eyes to widen in surprise. Dewdrop groaned loudly as Cumulus tried to ease his annoyance. Cirrus eyed the two as she attempted to apologize to the Cardinal with a pat on his shoulder.
Swiss groaned and smacked his hands onto the earth ghoul's shoulders. "Please Mount, please. We can't let his stinky little ass win." Mountain raised his eyebrows in amusement at Swiss' pleas and choice of words, but nodded his head confidently. "You got this big guy, send those pins flying! I'll even do your laundry for a month!"
Mountain rolled his eyes, they hardly ever do individual laundry. "We don't- sure, I'll do my best." He pulled Swiss' hands from his shoulders where claws had dug in, and stepped towards the approach.
Mountain bent to pick up his ball and stood tall. He rolled his shoulders and closed his eyes as he took a deep breath. He could hear the other team chattering, but blocked them out. He lined his feet with the dots on the approach and shuffled in place a bit. He brought the ball up and tapped his foot a few times. Ready.
Mountain rushed up the approach and released, a collective gasp coming from the ghouls and Cardinal behind him as the ball hit the pins. He inhaled sharply as he watched them fall and settle. Okay. The tenth pin was still standing. It'll be an easy spare. Although it was the same one that Swiss had missed.
He made his way to pick up his ball again and noticed Swiss with his hands to his face, hearing the multi ghoul whimper. Could he at least try to be positive? Stepping back to the dots, he held up the ball, took a few deep breaths, and tapped his feet again. He approached and released a smooth slow roll, spiking everyone's anxiousness.
His fist shot up into the air as he whispered a small excited, "yes!" when the pin went down. A collective gasp came from behind him and he turned to see Cirrus and Copia with the same happy expression. Swiss was hopping in his spot, hands shaking. He sent them an appreciative smile before looking over at the other team.
Cumulus and Aether looked equally excited as they did nervous. Rain tapped his chin as Dewdrop paced, sending Swiss a glare. His ball was back and with a pat to the back from Cirrus and Copia, he readied himself again. Final frame, final throw.
Dew and Rain- Rain? Mountain scoffed. Dewdrop and Rain were throwing taunts and yells, trying to distract him, but he was able to keep them out of his head well enough. Mountain sighed. He needed approximately 8 pins down for their team to win. Not nerve wracking at all. Bouncing on his tippy toes, he took a deep breath as his shoulders rolled.
He attempted to begin his approach, but hesitated on his second step, sighing as he returned into his starting position.
"C'mon! Just lose already!" Mountain's head twisted slightly in annoyance.
"Don't listen to him, Mountain!"
"Whatever goes, it'll be alright!"
"You'll win this big guy, I know it!"
Mountain smiled as a flush rose up his neck. He's got this. He held the ball with his other hand as he aired out his fingers and wiggled his limbs. His confidence and determination were strong. Ball back in grip and up against his shoulder, he breathed deeply, tapped his feet, and rushed forward.
The bowling ball hit the lane with a loud smack that was deafening to his ears as it sped towards the pins. Mountain took two steps back with his hands on his knees as he watched the ball crash into the pins, sending them all flying. He let out a surprised laugh as the lane emptied, hearing equally loud cheers and cries of disappointment behind him.
He did it. They won. Mountain made a strike on the final throw. Their team really managed to win by a few points. He stood, turning to rush over to his team, eyes shining with a happy grin. He wasn't even off the approach yet when Swiss rushed towards him yelling, "You fucking did it, man!"
Suddenly Swiss' arms were being thrown around Mountain's neck as the multi ghoul pulled him close, lips smashing together. For a second, Mountain's eyes widened in surprise before he softly shut them, wrapping his arms around the multi ghoul. As one hand set on Swiss' back, the other carefully found its way into his curls.
One of Swiss' hands stayed between his shoulder blades as the other cupped Mountain's cheek, moving up and down his jaw with every kiss. Swiss pulled away to bump their foreheads together, fighting to regain his breath. "Holy shit."
Mountain snorted as he moved his hands to cup Swiss' face. "Holy shit," he echoed. Mountain placed a kiss on Swiss' nose and bit his lip as a flush colored the ghoul's cheeks. They were snapped out of it when Cirrus purred at their side and Cumulus and Aether clapped their backs and congratulated them on the win.
Copia was on the side smiling, his hands lightly clapping. Rain had a small grin while he patted Dewdrop's head sympathetically, the fire ghoul in shock, looking absolutely defeated.
Mountain's hands had dropped to Swiss' waist as he accepted congratulations from the others. Swiss didn't let his attention stray for long, pulling his attention back by guiding his face back to his. "Again?" Mountain beamed and nodded.
Swiss planted a soft kiss on Mountain's lips. They glided slowly and perfectly against each other, tasting, savoring. Eventually pulling away, Swiss whispered against Mountain's cheek. "Fuck, you're so amazing, you know that?" Mountain laughed quietly and placed a noisy kiss on Swiss' cheek.
"I try." Swiss grinned and nipped at Mountain's nose, making the earth ghoul squirm with a grin of his own. Aether reeled them back into reality when he whistled, demanding their attention. The pair looked over at him, realizing the other's were all set to go. The Cardinal waved at them to take their time and walked off with the ghoulettes at his sides.
Mountain and Swiss smiled sheepishly in thanks. "Meet us out back." They nodded at Aether's words and turned back to face one another. With one more shared kiss, they readied themselves to leave before shyly walking hand in hand together to return their bowling shoes. As they walked, Swiss built up the courage to pull Mountain's ear close to his mouth as they headed towards the exit.
"Can I suck your dick later? Y-y'know, as a, uh, thank you?" Mountain's jaw dropped as he attempted to form any sound, looking at Swiss' shy smirk. He closed it and swallowed thickly, eyes searching all of Swiss’ face.
“Su-sure.. Yeah, if- if ya want..” The way Swiss laughed nervously made Mountain’s heart skip a beat as his eyes stayed glued to the multi ghoul’s face.
“Okay then, it's a date.”
“Okay.”
“Okay.”
“...” The two burst into a series of giggles as they rushed out the alley to meet the others, still hand in hand.
On the drive back to the Ministry grounds, the pair couldn’t keep their eyes off of one another. Aether was getting frustrated with the adorable way Mountain kept sneaking “secretive” (not) glances at the multi ghoul, a small adoring smile painting his face. Swiss had his arm around Cirrus’ shoulders as he spoke with her, but Aether also didn’t miss every side glance he took to get a glimpse of the earth ghoul, eyes constantly raking up and down his body. It was disgusting and endearing. Aether could see where their hands met between their thighs, fingers occasionally fiddling with one another. They weren’t being subtle, but Aether wasn’t going to be the one to burst whatever bubble the two ghouls were sharing,
Arriving at the grounds, Swiss and Mountain kept goofing off with the others, pinkies locked, but as they approached the rooms, it went silent between the two. Mountain’s other hand was fidgeting with the pocket of his pants as he tried to decide their next move. Would he invite Swiss to his room? Let the other ghoul invite him to his quarters? Or should he just shove him through the door? Or, what Mountain feared, had Swiss just been joking?
“Hey, big guy? You here with me? You don’t… have to indulge me… I understand if you don’t uh, want t-”. Mountain quieted Swiss’ rambling with a kiss to the forehead. The earth ghoul knocked their horns gently against each other, making Swiss’ eyes glow.
“I want to, believe me. I want you.” That was all Swiss needed to hear to regain his confidence before he rushed to the nearest room of the two, shoving Mountain into his own room. They didn’t even bother to turn the lights on as they scrambled to pull their shoes and sweaters off, running into the bed. Mountain released a small oof as Swiss pushed him down onto the bed and struggled to push himself higher up as Swiss climbed over him. Somehow, Mountain managed to switch a lamp on in the process.
Swiss kneeled over the earth ghoul as he tried to regain control of his breath, feeling the adrenaline from before rushing back into his body. Mountain ran his hands along Swiss’ sides, pushing his shirt upwards. Swiss yanked it all the way off before pulling Mountain back up to remove his as well. Their lips met in a deep kiss, hands roaming bare chests and backs.
Mountain released a shuddering gasp into the kiss as Swiss grinded against his lap, hands lightly pulling at his hair. Mountain had his hands on Swiss' hips, urging him to keep rolling his hips.
"Someone's happy to see me." Mountain released a light laugh and squirmed as Swiss kissed down his cheek to his neck. He happily gave the multi ghoul access, trying to piece his thoughts together as pressure grew against his crotch.
"Every time I lay eyes on you." Swiss' hips sped up in their motions as he let out a small whimper in response. Mountain moaned as he let his tongue trace the length of Swiss' ear, his hands finding their way past the multi ghoul's pants and onto his bare ass.
He could feel and see Swiss' tail swishing high, more than excited. "Shit, Swiss." Swiss pulled away to meet his eyes, cock kicking in its restricted space as he saw the saliva on the ghoul's lips and his glazed over, hooded eyes.
"Hell, Mounty… at this rate I-I think I'll cum in-in my pants."
"Mmph, that'd be a beautiful sight to see."
"Yeah?"
"Mmm." Mountain mouthed at Swiss jaw, claws digging into the flesh of his ass, guiding him into rougher thrust.
"Unholy hell, babe. That- oh. Fuck!" Swiss pushed Mountain down with such a force that Mountain lost his breath, laughing as he coughed and tried to regain it.
"Someone's eager to please."
"Always." The two had matching smirks, melding when they met in yet another heated kiss. But there was some slowness to this one, coated in adoration. More than the previous at least.
Losing themselves in touch, scent, taste, and kisses… Swiss found himself lost in all of Mountain as his orgasm hit in forceful waves. Every single whimper and moan serenaded Mountain's flickering, flushed ears. Mountain held him as close as he could, leaving open mouthed wet kisses and pants all over Swiss' face and neck as he grinded up against the multi ghoul, searching for his own release.
The glide against his crotch was easy with their wetness and Swiss' cum, his firm hands guiding Swiss' ass to grind onto his cock as best he could.
Swiss, to Mountain's dismay, sat up and leaned back, a hand falling to Mountain's thigh so he could create better friction on Mountain's cock. Any sign of disappointment from no longer having Swiss so close to his lips disappeared as Mountain felt the cleft of the multi ghoul’s ass through their pants over his crotch.
"Swiss, please, I'm-I'm almost there, please. S-so close." Mountain's voice was strained as his head pushed against the mattress, back arched yet still attempting to keep his eyes on the ghoul on top of him.
"Fuck, I know, baby. I got you." Swiss' tail circled and flicked at Mountain's nipples as he watched the earth ghoul drown in his own moans. "C'mon Mountain, cum for me darling." With a few more thrust against Swiss' ass, Mountain gladly came for him. Swiss helped him through it with light grinding, trying not to put to much pressure onto Mountain's sensitive dick. It was quite difficult when Mountain's high moans kept sending shivers down his spine.
When Mountain motioned for him to still, Swiss, let himself fall to the side, laying on his hip as he looked down at the earth ghoul. Mountain was panting heavily but gave him a weak smile that Swiss brightly returned.
"Lucifer, you're so beautiful." Swiss sucked his bottom lip into his mouth to try and hid his shy smile as the flush on his face darkened.
"Not as beautiful as you, big guy."
"Oh, I'd really beg to differ, gorgeous." Mountain pulled Swiss down, softly bringing their lips together for a peck. Swiss hovered above him, accepting defeat as the two shared air and basked in each other's presence.
"Fuck, wish we'd done this sooner. I don't know why I was so nervous to make a move."
"Saw me playing with balls and needed them to be yours?" A laugh burst from Swiss' chest at Mountain's words and let himself collapse into the earth ghoul's hold.
"That was terrible."
"I know." Mountain chuckled.
"But yeah… thanks for winning the game for me. You looked so hot up there, all strong and sweaty." Swiss licked his lips and smirked before kissing Mountain's nose.
Mountain hummed, returning the kiss. "Glad the intense anxiety I was feeling in the moment was sexy to you."
Swiss snorted and cuddled his face into the earth ghouls neck. Voice muffled, he said, "gonna be so sticky and gross, but I don't wanna move."
"We can stay awhile, get a nice bath going later, yeah?"
Swiss let out a small sad noise, making Mountain pull his face up by the chin so their eyes would meet.
“What’s wrong? Don't tell me you're against baths?" Swiss huffed and shook his head.
“I didn’t get to suck your dick.” Mountain blew out a laugh at the comically large sad eyes and pout Swiss sported, looking genuinely crestfallen at the fact.
"Then I say we start with that next time hm, dontcha think, sunflower?" Swiss groaned and pulled Mountain in for what felt like the thousandth kiss of the evening. The earth ghoul had wasted no time in working his way deep into Swiss' heart.
"Next time huh? Already thinking about having me all to yourself again, hot stuff?" Swiss had a wide and proud smirk on his face as he traced Mountain's jaw.
"Of course, anything to be by your side." Mountain's words were so soft and earnest, bringing a darker flush to Swiss' face as the multi ghoul let himself melt onto Mountain's bare chest, holding him tight.
Yeah, he was definitely falling hard and fast; Mountain thought the same.

Synopsis: The millions of words in the books that surrounded Wonwoo couldn't prepare him for falling in love.
Pairing: Jeon Wonwoo x fem!reader Word Count: 3.2k words Warnings: blood, biting (vampire), death
Tumblr media
"Jeon Wonwoo!" The loud voice of Seokmin echoed through the library as the boy tried to search for the librarian. Looking in every single aisle, not finding him until he reached tenth aisle on the second floor.
There sat Wonwoo, legs crossed and surrounded by hundreds of books and nose stuck in one. His glasses were starting to fall off, but Wonwoo was quick to push them back on his nose before continuing to read by turning the page. He seemed a bit pale, probably because of his lack of sleep or food, and Seokmin worried that his friend might faint if he got up. So Seokmin went closer, forcing the book out of Wonwoo's hands before putting it down with rest and pulling Wonwoo up.
"Come one, let's get you out of here." Seokmin grumbled and Wonwoo let out an annoyed groan, but followed along nonetheless. The man smelled, something that Seokmin was unfortunately already used to, and his eyes started closing halfway through the walk. His body soon followed and by the time that they reached Wonwoo's room, Seokmin was basically lifting the man. It wasn't that he couldn't, working in the stables gave him a bit more strength, but even then still struggled a bit with Wonwoo's weight.
"Need help?" Vernon's voice rang from behind him and Seokmin was quick to nod, sighing when the weight lessened. Throwing Wonwoo on the bed, Seokmin quickly went to turn on the shower while Vernon got up to get Joshua and Jeonghan.
They all knew that Wonwoo would be fine, he pulled this stunt multiple times already.
Tumblr media
"Already back, Wonwoo?" The woman before Wonwoo gave him a sweet smile, one that reminded Wonwoo of a mother smiling at their child, and he was quick to return the kind smile. He had known the woman since he was a small child, she had told him stories of battles that took place thousands of years before and created his fascination with books, a thirst of knowledge that couldn't be tamed. She often told stories like she was present, like a memory far in her brain and that they were.
Wonwoo never asked for the woman's age, but he knew well enough that the vampire was well over a thousand.
"Just some parchment, that's all. Seungcheol-hyung has been stealing mine." Wonwoo explained and the woman nodded, but didn't move from her spot and instead called a name. From behind a bookcase, you walked in.
Your dress was basic, not like the grand one your mother wore, and the glasses on your nose indicated that you had been reading. Your mother asked for you to fetch a few scrolls of parchment and you were quick to do so, almost disappearing from view in not even a second before reappearing with around 7 scrolls.
"I hope these will be enough?" You asked, smiling at Wonwoo and making his heart skip a beat. He took the scrolls before taking out some money from his bag. Your eyes stayed on Wonwoo, moving to the pin that hung on his jacket. A royal Liberian pin.
"You're the librarian from the palace?" You asked, which caused Wonwoo to look at you and nod in surprise. Your red eyes seemed to light up, smiling brightly and revealing two little fangs that made Wonwoo realized that you were the daughter of the woman beside him. You almost started glowing, your happiness clear as you rambled about your thoughts about the library and without a thought Wonwoo responded.
"Would you like to see it?" Almost immediatley after finishing his sentence, you nodded as your smile grew twice as large as before and in turn the one on Wonwoo's face grew slightly as well.
And thus, Wonwoo returned to the palace with you.
Tumblr media
"Did he lock himself in there again? God..." Jeonghan wanted to strangle Wonwoo as Seokmin announced that he had been missing again, knowing full well that Wonwoo was in the library. After the last fainting, Wonwoo stayed too long asleep and had grown somewhat immune to the magic that Jeonghan and Joshua used. Ziva's could work, but the saintess was too busy to come to the palace everytime Wonwoo fainted from exhaustion. So on day two of Wonwoo's missing, Jeonghan had enough and he wouldn't leave until he dragged Wonwoo out of the library.
The doors were closed, but Jeonghan quickly moved his hand to throw them open and to reveal the beautiful library hidden behind them. At the center table sat Wonwoo, eyes trained not on the book but rather on the girl beside him. Jeonghan stopped in his tracks, watching as the girl rambled and Wonwoo listened. The look in Wonwoo's eyes was something that Jeonghan was all too familiar with, a look of admiration that almost made Jeonghan barf from how cheesy it looked. Nonetheless, Jeonghan marched closer and leaned over the desk with an annoyed look.
"Please tell me you've at least eaten?" Jeonghan asked and both you and Wonwoo looked up. Wonwoo nodded, lifting a basket beside him that held different kinds of foods like bread and fruits. Jeonghan was a bit surprised, not expecting that from Wonwoo. Then again, it was probably your idea.
"I'll leave you two lovebirds to it then." Jeonghan said, smirking slightly as he watched Wonwoo turn red while you just chuckled softly. Jeonghan exited the library again, shutting the door loudly and leaving you back in silence. It was then that you heard your stomach rumble softly, your body sending a painful signal to your head that you needed to feed. Not taking one more second, you got up and quickly ran off after yelling a loud sorry to Wonwoo.
Wonwoo watched you run off in confusion, an uncomfortable feeling in his stomach.
Tumblr media
Wiping your mouth, you only felt disgust as you looked at the empty blood bag before you. You hated that you needed and craved said blood and you hated yourself even more because of the little voice in your had that said it wasn't good enough. You needed more and more specifically, you needed actual human blood and not the artificial one that laid before you. Taking a final glance at the bag, you quickly dumped it in the trash before making your way outside again.
The sun shone brightly on your face, the tingling sensation was normal at this point and you were quick to continue walking to not stay in the sun too long. You were not risking burns, not at this moment. Not when you just met Wonwoo.
Just as the man entered your thoughts again, you realized that you probably should seek him out again to explain why you ran off.
"Hey, library girl!" A voice pulled you from your thoughts, freezing in your steps before turning around to face the person who called you. A man and woman, both familiar to you. The woman was the saintess, everyone knew her and you had met her once outside of the church since you couldn't enter it. The man was the one you saw not long ago when you were with Wonwoo, the man who called you and Wonwoo lovebirds. You bowed your head, moving your hand to your heart as you greeted the saintess before standing back up straight.
"You, uh, have a bit..." The saintess pointed at the corner of her mouth and you followed the movement to your own mouth, flinching when you felt blood. You apologized as you fished out a handkerchief, wiping the blood away before awkwardly putting it away.
"You're a vampire?" Jeonghan asked and you nodded, sucking in a deep breath as you felt a familiar burning feeling on your skin. When you nodded, Jeonghan lifted the jacket that he held in his arms and covered you from the sunlight.
"Can't let my sister-in-law get hurt now, can I?" He joked and you rolled your eyes before excusing yourself, quickly giving the jacket back before you continued back to the castle. Ignoring the people around you that stared at you, walking to the library. Your skin was almost smoking at this point and you tried to hide from the sun rays, but the large windows throughout the hallway didn't help. Once you had reached the library, your whole body hurt and your skin was bright red with smoke escaping from the muscles underneath. You stumbled inside, eyes connecting to Wonwoo's. He sat at the large table, books surrounding him and almost making him invisible to see. Concern flashed over his face and he was quick to jump over the table, disregarding the fallen books as he ran your way. A cloak was thrown over your form, covering you completely from any sunshine before gently cupping your face.
"Why are you here? You shouldn't be out in sunlight without protection." He spoke gently, not raising his voice above a mere whisper and you leaned into his hands. The warmth felt nice, something you missed even when you had never held such warmth in your own body. The burning stopped, instead your body started healing itself slowly. Only a bit faster than a human would, unless you drank blood but you didn't plan on doing so.
"You should drink something." Wonwoo stated, making you look up in confusion before flinching when Wonwoo held his arm up before you. His sleeves was rolled up, revealing his honey colored skin and the blue veins beneath it. You stared at his arm, feeling your body react to the blood that pumped through his veins as your fangs started to protrude. You stopped yourself, pushing his arm back as you tried to ignore how your eyes started to turn redder with the seconds. Wonwoo continued to push, however, as you tried to hold back. Until you couldn't.
Latching your hand around his wrist, you pulled him closer and sank your teeth into his arm. Blood poured out, which you gulped down hungrily until you were satisfied. Your fangs pulled back in, disappearing from view before you gently licked the wound and watching it close up again. Your wounds had healed, only a soft redness left over in the previous burned spots.
"Thank you, Wonwoo..." You spoke, leaning back into his hand before slumping into his arms. He didn't protest in any way, just carefully wrapping his arms around you while still making sure that you were covered from the sun. You don't know how long you laid their, but you knew one thing for sure.
You felt your heart beat for the first time.
Tumblr media
"You bit Wonwoo?!" Your mother exclaimed loudly, making you flinch slightly before nodding. You didn't see a problem with it, you didn't inject poison in his system and the wound was healed immediatley after the bite. Your mother didn't seem to agree, standing up from her chair and slapping her book on the table. She asked when it was, to which you just answered that it was 5 days ago.
"Go to him, now." Your mother said before leaving the room, leaving you confused and yet you could only follow her command. So you took your cloak, covering yourself before leaving your house. The whole trip long, you worried for the reason of your mother's anger and this curiosity was quickly answered. When you entered the library, you were quickly pulled out again by someone and dragged to another place. You could sense that it was Joshua and you could also sense the distress that he tried to hide.
"What did you do to Wonwoo?" His voice wavered as he halted in a hallway, right in front of a door. You turned to face him, confusion clear from your and his side. He only tilted his head to the door before telling you to go in. Your hand moved to the doorknob, hesitating slightly as your hand touched the cold metal. Then you pushed it open, revealing a bedroom and a sick-looking Wonwoo. Jeonghan sat beside him, looking drained as he used his magic to ease Wonwoo's pain. Other sat in the room as well, two men pacing on the side while another looked like he wanted to kill the two pacers. You stepped inside and then all eyes were on you. You ignored every single one, moving closer to Wonwoo before pausing.
He had a fever, that much was clear as you saw the red tint on his body as well as the forming sweat. His muscles were twitching slightly and his brows were furrowed, making it clear that he was in pain. You stepped a bit closer again, kneeling beside him before leaning down to lay your head on his chest. A curse left your mouth as you heard his heart beat and the familiar slowing that you had heard a few times before. You sat up, covering your face as you realized what you had done.
"Do you know what's wrong with him?-" You nodded at the question, not paying attention to who asked. "-Then how do we heal it?!" They asked, a little too loud but you couldn't blame them. Then again, you also couldn't lie to them.
"He's going to die, there's nothing you can do." You answered softly and Jeonghan shot up from his seat, eyes wide as the room grew quiet. You looked at him, eyes connecting to his before looking down again.
"You didn't... Tell me you didn't." "I..." You couldn't say anything, you felt too guilty. You made a mistake and in return, they would have to see their friend and brother die. Sure, he'd come back but he'd still have to feel death.
"Get out." You didn't bother answering Jeonghan, instead you just got up and left again while trying to hold back your own tears. You didn't deserve to cry.
Tumblr media
"He's back!" Seokmin screamed, barging into the room and waking up everyone inside. Mingyu was the first to react, not waiting for any other word as he rushed off to Wonwoo's room. The others soon followed until only Seokmin, Jeonghan and all the girls stayed behind.
"Go to him, he needs you guys now." Fei spoke and all the other girls nodded, agreeing to the statement of the dancer and the two men didn't waste anymore time as they rushed back to the room as well.
Wonwoo was confused as he watched everyone enter his room, not knowing what was going on. His senses were on high alert and he was well aware of the heartbeats from his friends, hearing the blood rushing to their veins. His body was hurting, begging to be fed and Wonwoo could only grab his head in frustration as he tried to not think of his friends as food.
"Won-" "Where's (y/n)? I need her, please." Never had anyone in the room seen Wonwoo plead, but yet here he was. Pleading for a girl to come...
"Wonwoo, she killed you." Jeonghan said, but Wonwoo shook his head. His body was trembling again, Wonwoo was trying with all his might to not pounce on Jeonghan and kill him. He shook his head, mumbling something under his breath that no one could hear.
"Alright boys, out. All of you!" Nori's voice echoed through the room and everyone turned to her before spotting you. Mingyu and Jeonghan were about to protest, but the sea serpent's glare was enough to shut them up. One by one they walked out, some more reluctantly than others and then it was just you and Wonwoo.
"(y/n)." "Drink first, you need it." You spoke, getting closer and holding out a bottle with, what Wonwoo assumed to be, blood. Wonwoo drank it, not expecting it to be actually good. He expected a bitter and irony taste, yet it tasted sweet instead. When the bottle was finished, which was quickly thanks to Wonwoo's thirst, Wonwoo sighed in content. His body healed itself slightly, turning him back into the Wonwoo that you knew from before. His skin turned back into it's original color, his eyes back to their dark brown color and his fangs dissappeared again. He looked healthy now, which already made you a bit relieved.
"I am so sorry, Wonwoo." "Don't be, I knew this would happen." Wonwoo stated, which only made you look up in shock. You stayed quiet, staring at him before finally getting what he just told you.
"Please tell me you're joking." You asked in shock, but he just shook his head, which only caused you to jump up. You stared at the man before you in shock and anger before hitting his arm, not too hard to actually hurt him but enough for him to feel it for awhile. Wonwoo cradled his arm in pain, only giving out a low whine before pulling you back to him. An apology followed shortly after he hugged you, but you only huffed in response.
"Why would you even?" "Because I don't want to live without you." He mumbled and you pulled back from his hug, sighing softly.
"But now you'll outlive your friends and you'll die if I do. Is that really something you want? Watching the ones you love die around you?" You asked and this seemed to be a question that Wonwoo hadn't thought about, realization flashing on his face. Sure, some of his friends would live long like him. Like Minghao, Junhui, Soonyoung, Chan and maybe even Seungkwan, but all the others aged normally. They would age and die before him, but he'd have support of his other friends. They would experience the same, he wouldn't be left alone and that felt like some kind of comfort.
"I shouldn't think about that now, we'll get there when it happens." He spoke and you sighed loudly, moving a bit closer again and hugging Wonwoo once more.
"I'd love to live with for eternity." You mumbled softly and Wonwoo hugged you back, a soft smile appearing on his face.
Tumblr media
"Can you back off, please?" Wonwoo asked Seokmin, the younger one was sneaking up behind him unsuccessfully. The stable boy was disappointed, annoyed by the fact that Wonwoo could now sense everyone around him from what seemed like a mile away. Nonetheless, Seokmin backed a bit as he knew well enough that Wonwoo wasn't good enough yet with blood smells yet. Only you and, surprisingly, Soonyoung were able to approach him without him wanting to sink his teeth in your necks. This saddened Seokmin and Mingyu a bit, since they were usually the people to show their friendship and affection in physical ways while the others didn't really. They hoped that it would all be quickly resolved, so they could go back to normal.
"Hungry again?" You asked, sitting down on the armrest of the chair that Wonwoo sat in. He shook his head, but leaned his head against you like he was tired. You knew he wasn't, so you could only chuckle as you patted his head.
"Just give him a little longer, boys. Once he gets used to his new senses, he'll be just like before." "So he'll lock himself in the library again for days and he won't die now. Woo~!" Seokmin faked a cheer and you laughed, shaking your head at him.
"Don't worry about that, Seokmin." You said before looking at Wonwoo with a smile, which he returned once he noticed.
"I won't let him do that."

DELETED SCENE // group interview, band au
It takes a few minutes for the room to settle back into anything resembling silence as Natalie struggles to keep the hula-hoop going. (She, so valiantly, refrains from flipping them off as they continue to giggle.) Mari can't help but eye the fishbowl of paper slips suspiciously. "Do I like, have to, or is passing an option?" The resulting jeers tell her all she needs to know; there's no getting out of this. With a sigh, she reaches forward and plucks the first white strip from the truth bowl.
WHO WAS YOUR BIGGEST HIGH SCHOOL CRUSH?
The blood rushes to her face. Oh, God. Talk about a shitty card to pull. "On second thought, I think I'm feeling a little more da-"
"Hey hey whoa whoa, you're got to answer the question, Flores!" Lottie darts forward to grab it from her hands, and Mari shifts to avoid her. Unfortunately, it's directly into Jackie, who plucks the paper from Mari's grasp.
"Who was your biggest high school crush? Oh, I know this one!" Jackie wiggles her eyebrows, lips curled into a mischievous grin as she feigns swooning and falls into Mari's lap. "Danny Mears! Oh, you were so down bad for him, MarMar. Which, just saying, you dodged a huge bullet. Heard he's like, dating his cousin or some shit."
"It's his second cousin. So it's like, technically legal." Mari manages to string together, in an attempt to soften the blow.
Tai snorts. "Wow, what a distinction. Still technically a total loser."
"Okay, he wasn't that bad—" Mari defends, but Jackie's laughter cuts her off.
"Oh God, remember his hair??"
Nat joins in from the sidelines, hula hoop clattering to the ground. "How could any of us forget??"
"Guys, give Mari a break!" Mari feels a modicum of relief as Lottie interjects, before breaking into a fanged smile. "She's never had the best taste. I mean remember—"
"He wasn't my crush." Mari blurts it out, before freezing.
"He wasn't?" Lottie echoes. She looks genuinely perplexed. The band as a whole does.
"Okay then, who was?"
"You can't say that and not elaborate."
Mari looks down, her face several shades of red. She mumbles her answer. "Jackie."
The hula hoop clatters to the ground as Nat gapes, Lottie and Tai mirroring the shell shocked expression. "You had a crush on me?" Jackie asks after a minute.
"I mean, yea, how could I not?" Mari laughs, awkward, as she rubs the back of her neck. "It was the first day of soccer try outs. You guys were helping Coach run everything and you partnered with me. You were like, like this superstar. And you told me I was really good. And after, my mom was running like really late. You could've left. I mean you must've had better things to do than sit with a stupid little freshman. But you sat down next to me and waited. I mean, you even gave me your fruit by the foot."
"They're your favorite." Jackie's expression softens, but stays unreadable.
Mari's shoulders lift into a shrug. "They weren't before that." The silence hangs for a few beats too long, feels a little too palpable, and Mari shoves the bowl at the Jackie. "Okay, I answered. Now pick up the pace. Nat's stuck losing a battle to an inanimate object until it circles back to her turn."
At the mention of Natalie's plight, Jackie's attention shifts. "Right, right. Besides, there's no use dwelling on things past."
Right. Things passed. Mari laughs, ignoring the ache in her chest as Jackie shoves her shoulder. So totally passed.

It might be the hilarity of it all.
It was kind of funny.
Seeing your normally regal lover stumble over her own feet--er... paws. Ruby laughed, fixing the leather cuff on her wrist that Blue had given her; it cancelled the otherwise volatile magic she had.
"Emma, what spell did you use exactly?" Blue sighed, eyeing the blonde.
"I don't even know! I was just trying to make Regina levitate--"
Ruby raised a brow. "I'd say she's doing the opposite."
The large black wolf before the two gave a low growl at Emma, finally regaining balance on the laminated tile of the home.
"I seriously don't know what I did, Regina..." Emma tried, rubbing the back of her neck nervously. "I mean, it's a good look?"
The wolf snarled, gnashing its fangs angrily whilst Ruby stood quickly and took her lover's maw.
"Hey, baby--"
Regina growled.
"No growling. Now, you know how I feel. Just, calm down. Calm down for me, hun?" Ruby murmured, petting the sides of her fluffy neck.
The wolf gave a huff, sitting back on its haunches and eventually laying on the floor before the couch where Ruby sat. Regina rested her head on Ruby's lap, chuffing contentedly as the brunette pet up and down the length of her snout.
"I'm sure we can find a way to return your magic to their rightful places." Blue began, giving a wave of her hand and only succeeding in showering light cerulean sparkles over the two.
Regina gave a sniffle then sneezed at the presence of said sparkles.
Ruby chuckled and scratched between the wolf's ears. "Any luck, Blue?"
"No, unfortunately, it seems it will reverse with time..." The fairy frowned after few more attempts. "How you managed to perform such a spell is beyond me, Emma..."
Emma laughed nervously.
Regina's chest rumbled darkly for a moment, quickly quieting when Ruby pet her once more.
"Well, guess we're both getting some magic lessons in the meantime, Em." The tall brunette chuckled.
"How are you so calm about this? What if I fucked up your whole body by switching your magics?!" Emma groaned, looking miserable at the prospect.
Ruby shrugged. "I'll be honest. It's hard to be nervous when you've got this in front of you." She hummed, playing with Regina's ears whilst the wolf's tail wagged at the attention from her girlfriend.
"Not to mention, with this cuff thing--" the brunette held her right arm up. "It blocks the magic out anyway. I won't hurt anyone like this."
"Uh-huh... so, no hard feelings, Regina?" Emma tried tentatively.
The wolf gave a snap of its jaws, grumbling lightly until Emma took an anxious step back.
"Yeah, I deserve that."
(pt2)
"So, why is she stuck like this?" Snow asked, watching the wolf run about the grass with a laughing Henry in tow.
"Emma accidentally swapped out magics and she hasn't figured out how to transform back. I guess she just doesn't feel that tingle to return to normal--"
"--tingle?" Snow chuckled.
"Yeah, it was hard to decipher when I first transformed but after a couple full moons... it's like an itch you have to scratch. It's weird to describe." Ruby shrugged, watching the large wolf pad about the playground floor whilst Henry ran about the actual building.
"Ruby, Ruby!"
The brunette was up and running over to them in a flash, not as fast as normal but still quite. "What? What, Hen?!"
The boy laughed. "Wanna play tag with us?"
Regina eyed the two on the playground structure with a wag of her tail.
"Tag? That's sort of unfair, kid. I mean, your mom's nearly the size of a truck-"
Regina growled.
"Oh, hush. You are."
Henry smiled. "You are really big as a wolf, Mom. Not as big as Ruby but still really big."
The wolf grumbled.
"So, who's it?"
Henry beamed. "Mom, you're it! Count to ten to give us a headstart!" He hummed before sprinting off into the light brush about the playground.
The wolf gave soft huffs in succession to indicate counting as best she could.
Ruby had run the opposite direction.
Regina finished her huffing, turning and rushing after Henry. Ruby assumed she was safe.
Until Snow began cackling and Ruby turned to find Henry riding Regina's back and the wolf sprinting towards her.
"Really?! That's not even--" she began, only to be tackled by the beast.
Snow continued to laugh.

Pokemon Scarlet - Day 7
I’m just going to transcribe my dream last night instead of summarizing it this time.
“Here, again?” I asked as I recognized the starry void. I sighed and sat on a convenient bench that was there and had always been there but I just hadn’t seen it. “I thought I was done with this.”
Pearl approached from nowhere, but at the same time she had always been there. “Yes, here again. I know it’s stressful, being part of this wider universe. Usually we leave the new ones alone unless they’re already aware of their identity, but also usually it’s Ruby doing this sort of thing and Ruby is stuck. Only me, Yellow, and Shield can get close enough to you to talk, and Yellow is busy sciencing and Shield never really got briefed. I don’t want there to be two of you in the dark about all this.”
I pulled out my Rotom Phone. “You mentioned three people. Some lady said she sensed three different adventures through my phone. Are you responsible for that?” I showed her the three cases.
Pearl nodded sagely. “Those definitely represent the three of us. The one you’re using matches Yellow perfectly, showing Pikachu and Eevee, that one—“ she pointed to the white-and-yellow one “—is like my Arc Phone.” She pulled a phone out of her pocket that looked very unwieldy but surely was similar to the case, “And that final one shows Ball Guy, some dude Shield says is everywhere and creeps her out. Interesting.” She wrote something down on paper the simultaneously wasn’t there before and had always been there.
“And Ditto is not in. . . Hisui,” I said, remembering my thoughts from earlier. “Why do I know that?”
Pearl blinked. “You just know that?”
I nodded.
She wrote something down. “I will have to research that. Maybe ask Arceus if he knows. We don’t normally share memories, but some of us have special powers. Maybe I should bring Yellow into this—she can see into the past of anyone she touches, even uncovering lost memories. I’ll do that, but first, may I see your Pokedex?”
I nodded and handed it to her. She made notes of my new catches. “Thank you. It might be a few days again before I can bring in Yellow. Keep up the good work. Work towards completing your Treasure Hunt and finding all of the Pokemon.”
And with that, I woke up.
I want to deny it, but I don’t think it’s a dream anymore. Yet I still must move on with my journey.
I put on some sand-resistant boots and longer sleeves and headed deeper into the desert. As I got farther and farther in, a sandstorm kicked up, and I spotted a gigantic Pokemon. It looked like a Donphan, but a bit more primal, with spines and giant tusks.
It seems it’s called Great Tusk, and I had to fight it. It was tough! The only reason I won at all was Grafaiai’s Poison Fang getting it badly poisoned. Even when Arven showed up with his level 45 two-headed Pokemon, it still was down to my team and Poison Fang and a ton of Revives saved the day. My team is in the upper 20s-low 30s by the way.
With the Great Tusk defeated, Arven and I went deeper into the cave where we found the Sour Herba Mythica. Arven made us sandwiches with it, and after Koraidon ate mine, it gained the ability to glide!
Arven then talked about why he is doing this quest as his Treasure Hunt. He has a partner Pokemon, Mabosstiff, who is very sick. He hopes that the Herba Mythica will bring Mabosstiff back to health. And so far it seems to be working—its paws and now its eyes work again. So that is excellent news.
After that, I wandered around and spotted the Great Tusk again. It was level 45. I think I’ll come back to try to catch it once I have enough badges to make that easier. And once my team is high enough level to actually withstand its attacks.
I’ve also been trying to see where Koraidon’s glide can take me. It doesn’t seem to be able to take me long distances, unfortunately, as after a bit it just starts descending very rapidly. Mostly I’ve been able to get on roofs. I almost got on top of the Pokemon Center’s rotating sign, but as much as I tried, I kept falling off. Still, this makes heights so much more fun!

Congrats on your milestone! If it aint a bother can I request fluff 29 with Jade? Like when the reader save him when they were kids but they only met again in nrc like that ehehe. Thanks.
A/N: The writer would like to apologize for all the trouble she caused with the requests post so as an apology I bring the first request...and a fluffy Jade that will sweep you off your feet.
Warnings: None, just fluffy Jade and an unexpected confession.
Jade Leech
“Oh Jade! You forgot something.”
The eelman blinks as he watches you run behind him, crinkling his eyebrow and wondering why you had interrupted the perfect system he had going on. You were unpacking and he was placing the seltzer cans in a pretty little formation to fulfill Azul’s aesthetic demands. You stopping was just delaying the process of getting the Monstro Lounge ready for tomorrow.
You grab the plastic six pack rings before bringing them back to the bar, taking a pair of scissors and cutting it into pieces before going back to the trash bag and throwing it away. He watches you come back with a smile on your face as you kneel down and hand him a can.
He remains quiet for a few moments before chuckling as he picks a spot for the can.
“You still do that?”
“What?”
Jade points at the trash can, “That.”
Your eyes follow his finger before you make a face, “You mean cutting the plastic wrap? Of course. I already feel bad we are throwing plastic away so I might as well make it easier on the animals that unfortunately get stuck with it.”
He can’t help the laugh that escapes him, it was surprising to hear you talk so passionately about a subject compared to how often you chose to stay quiet. Yet he guesses that is why he enjoys your company so much, your unexpectednesses was refreshing.
“Besides.” you smile, “I have a good reason to cut them.”
Jade looks back at you with a smile, taking the next can from your hands with a soft hum.
“So you do remember.”
“I remember meeting a merman for the first time and also saving him from getting his hand cut off.”
His right hand itches as you talk about the first time you two met, the memory of the plastic tightly wrapped around his wrist with his hands covered in scratches and bites as he tried to somehow get it off. Yet the plastic was so tightly wound around it and it was so thin but it clung so stubbornly.
“I never expected a human to approach me so alarmingly.” he says as he goes to pick up another box of seltzer, leaving you to stare at the small tower he had made.  “There was so much blood in the water!”
He didn’t understand your reasoning. Any other human would have run away if they saw blood in the water, not rush to see what it was only to find a mer child sitting on the rocks trying not to panic about having to bite his own hand off.
 The memory is still fresh in his head, as well.
How you had looked when he had bared his fangs at you, how you put your hands up to show that you weren’t here to harm him before pointing at your right wrist, where most of the blood was coming from. What had even compelled him to show it you? You could have cut off his fin and left him to die for all he knew!
Yet he was still young and his parents had only told him about the humans who wanted him for what he was worth, not those who were willing to help.
Your little fingers pried apart the plastic easily, Jade’s wrist now only having an angry red ring around it that would cure with some salves and enough rest. His eyes never left your figure as you pulled back and smiled, tucking the broken plastic wrap into your pocket as you flash him a charming smile despite missing one tooth.  “It doesn’t hurt anymore, right?”
He had nodded and kept his wrist close to him, both of you looking at each other curiously before Jade jumped at the sound of another human yelling out what he guessed was your name. You turn around to scream back a response only to look back at him with a worried look.
“I hope it’ll heal soon...I hope to see you again!”
Jade thought that he would never see you again after that, his first and last meeting with a human.
But he guessed that fate had something for the two of you.
It was alarming how easily he had picked you out of the crowd of new students, his heart skipping a beat as you stood in front of the mirror. Despite your sorting into another dorm, Jade had wasted no time in reconnecting with you again. It was funny that you only recognized his eel form but could he really complain when you had nearly jumped at him once you finally remembered who he was?
No, the entire situation was perfect.
“Maybe it was fate that we should meet again.” he speaks up, “Or maybe just lucky circumstance.”
“I would like to think it was fate.” you clear your throat, “I’ve been in love with you since we were kids after all.”
The Monstro Lounge’s silence breaks as the cans of seltzer go tumbling down, Jade’s hand having pushed them all down accidentally as he turned to look back at you, eyes wide and face slowly turning a pretty shade of pink.
“...pardon?”
A whistle is all you let out as you rock back and forth on your heels.
“Ha...I figured I should say that now...or else I was never going to say it at all...Is that bad?”
Bad? Why would it be bad? It was more than welcomed--
“I just...I went back to that spot every single day after I met you.I knew that I hadn’t dreamt you up and I wanted so desperately to see if you would come back...if you were just as curious as I was...”
You shrug, “I got sad when I didn’t see you. But as I grew up I knew that maybe some other humans would have wanted to hurt you so...I learned to just live with that one memory I had of you.”
Ditto, Jade wanted to say, but decided to listen to what else you had to say.
“And--And I feel bad! Because I shouldn’t just be pouring out my feelings to you like this and I don’t know if I’m in love with you or with the image of you! I mean we both met when I was so little and--!”
Gloved fingers press against your lips, stopping you from spilling any other words as Jade steps closer to you. He moves his hand away and brings his hand to his mouth, tugging the glove off with his teeth before placing it on whatever surface was available so that he could feel your lips.
“Honestly...” he sighs and shakes his head, “All the work we did is ruined.”
Your surprise turns to worry as you try to pull back, apologizing for startling him with such a confession but finding that you couldn’t necessarily pull away from him.
In fact, there was a hand on your lower back keeping you pressed against him.
“You said you didn’t know if you were in love with me or the thought of me...” Jade repeats the words before leaning down to press a small kiss just on the side of your lips, smiling as he felt your breath hitch and your body tense.
“If that is your conundrum then...can have the chance to help you fall in love with me?”
Ah. How cute. Your face had gone all red. Yet your nod was enough to let him know that he had gotten your permission to approach you in a much different manner.
Confessing before him...you really were full of surprises.

errands for you
inspired by khai dreams’ good advice !
the second years had always been fond of the bread that was selling near the school campus. usually, they would see each other going together to buy some but once missions got harder, they would get inumaki to run errands to buy bread. it happened once, twice but inumaki seemed to grow fond of the girl behind the counter who insisted she taught him sign language, so he found himself doing it voluntarily with a small smile hidden behind his collar.
Tumblr media
maki heaved a deep sigh, leaning on panda as they finished another session of training. the sun was dimly shining, which they were heavily thankful for. panda was lying on the grass, yuuta was sitting on the staircase and inumaki was sitting beside panda with the usual stoic expression on his face. maki clicked her tongue before wiping the sweat forming on her forehead.
“anyone up to grab some refreshments?”
the four first years glanced at each other before hurriedly pointing at each other. to his misfortune, inumaki hesitated, leaving him the one to sigh and stand up. he stretched before handing his phone to maki. the girl typed the food she wanted before passing it to yuuta, who did the same. eventually, the phone circled back to inumaki. his eyes scanned the screen before heading off with his hands in his pocket.
the boy sighed, staring at the small bakery from a few feet before approaching it. the door opened with a chime, alerting the people working behind the counter.
“welcome!”
inumaki approached the counter, phone in hand. he stopped when the lady behind the counter recognized him, rather his uniform.
“oh! a sorcerer!” the women wiped her hand on her apron before leaning behind, calling out to another worker. a small voice responded from the kitchen followed by a girl fixing her apron.
“serve this one, it should be easy enough.” the woman assigned and the girl merely nodded before facing inumaki with a smile.
“what can i get you today?”
Tumblr media
to say you were excited was a complete understatement. not only were you working in a bakery but you were working near the same campus your parents met. it was an astounding thing to even think about. it gave you something to be happy about. since their passing, it seemed difficult to spend every minute stuck at home. it wasn’t before the brink of you and your sister’s empty fridge that had you standing up and going. with no one to look after you both, you were left with the task to be the adult. a year behind legality, you were glad some strings were pulled so you could start working in a small bakery near the tokyo metropolitan school or rather the jujutsu tech.
you remembered your mother telling you stories of their missions, dangerous ones that they joked about. unfortunately, you weren’t given the chance to have a technique which left you with eyes that often saw monstrous creatures. though you could easily take classes to grow stronger, applying to be a sorcerer increased the chances of you leaving your little sister.
so now here you were, behind the counter of a small bakery near the jujutsu school. the ladies you were working with were surprisingly kind and welcoming. the atmosphere was ideal and overall, everything was perfect.
“what can i get you today?” your head tilted and your eyes closed with a smile. before you could comprehend anything, a phone was shoved in front of you. on it was multiple bread and drinks that were present on the menu board. you stared at the boy in front of you before gaping in realization.
inumaki watched you raise your hand, signing. he merely blinked at the sign, not understanding what any of what you said meant. you paused, your hand still raised.
“sign language?” you worded out at the same time signing. inumaki shook his head. you sputtered before apologising meekly, a bashful smile on your face. you took the phone from him and started to write the order down.
“right. i’ll be back.” you muttered before collecting the written bread on the pad of paper you were holding. you hummed before placing a tray in front of the boy. ducking, you grabbed a paper bag from below the counter. inumaki stood idle, watching you place the bread inside the paper bag with care. he couldn’t put a finger on what he was feeling but his eyes could not leave your figure. it was as if he was put on some kind on trance. maybe it was the lighting inside the shop that made you glow. no, inumaki felt like even if you were standing with no proper lighting he’d still see an angelic glow surrounding you.
“-ello?”
your voice snapped him out of his thoughts, his cheeks slightly heating up in embarrassment.
“here’s your bread.” you signed despite already knowing the boy in front of you indicated he didn’t know how.
he was interesting, you could at least say. maybe it was the way his lower half was mysteriously covered by cloth or maybe it was his eyes that seemed like it was staring into your soul. either way, you were silently hoping he would return.
maybe you were getting lucky because the off-white haired boy sauntered his way into the shop the next day and for the following week. before you knew it, you were offering him free lessons of sign language. he’d handed you his phone with the question ‘how do you know sign language’ with his head tilted cutely the other day. to which you responded,
“my sister’s mute.” you signed with a small smile, making the boy’s eyes widen slightly. so you were familiar with his case except he had the ability to speak just not without the expense of getting others included. which by the way, you had no idea about. you had just assumed he was mute as well. it wasn’t before you heard him slip a random word.
“takana?” you heard as you sat on a table near the window. how the time seemed to slow down as you stared at him in mere shock.
“y-you can talk!” you exclaimed, hands gripping the table and practically leaning over closer to the boy. inumaki stared before glancing away, a hand tugging at the collar hiding his face nervously. lucky for him, your expressions seemed to be positive. the way your eyes lit up when he opened his mouth relieved him.
“takana?” you asked in wonder, sitting back down placing a hand under your chin. it seemed like eternity as inumaki waited for you to look up and started chatting again. he jolted slightly when you frantically looked up.
“inumaki!” you snapped your fingers, remembering a story your mother had told you. “snake and fangs!” inumaki froze at the words. for all that he expected, he did not expect those exact words to fly out of your mouth. you knew about curses? sorcerers? it seemed as if his eyes asked all the questions when you clasped your hand together, sighing with a hint of sadness.
“my parents were sorcerers.” you claimed, staring at outside the window. inumaki could see pain glazing over your eyes. “they used to tell me about their missions.” you chuckled softly.
“the inumaki clan was a small story i can vaguely remember but i know the technique. my mother was very interested in different jujutsu techniques.” you continued as inumaki listened, following your gaze outside the window. the sun was setting, painting an ethereal blanket of orange glow in the sky - a perfect afternoon to spend relaxing and talking.
inumaki dug his brain for the past few weeks, trying to remember certain sign language you had subconsciously done. you stared at the boy as he hesitated to raise his right hand. your eyes widened when he signed an apology. your mouth fell open in disbelief and awe. he had been picking up a few of your sign language and he actually used one! you let out a giddy laugh.
“it’s okay.” you signed back with a bright grin. the corners of his eyes slightly curved, indicating he was smiling back. you leaned forward with a smile, continuing the conversation despite it being slightly one sided. you had no care that he was using limited responses. when he would try to sign a phrase he’d caught from you, you would lean in and guide his hand. eventually, for the whole month, inumaki had been voluntarily buying refreshments for his fellow classmates without knowledge he had been making friends. maki had grown suspicious one time when he had hurriedly insisted that he can buy. though, to his relief, she brushed it off.
this cycle continued for almost a year and a half. you were proud inumaki had gotten to use sign language with you without needing any help. it was practically second nature to him now. you two had never run out of things to enjoy. your friendship eventually led to you inviting him to movies, arcades and other places you had fun in. at one point, inumaki had met your little sister who was surprisingly clingy to him.
you noticed, however, whenever he stayed over at your apartment, you would often find yourself staring at his relaxed figure or the way he messed with his hair. you found yourself noticing details that a friend wouldn’t. you stopped mid walk once, your eyes widening in realization. the heat creeping up your cheeks whenever he would ask how you were doing or if you had a good day were things you normally brushed off but those little things seemed to fluster you more than usual.
you were falling for him.
it was a dangerous thing to be feeling. after all, he was a sorcerer. you were reminded of your parents’ tragedy when you thought about jujutsu. with pale features, you try to reassure inumaki that you were fine.
it wasn’t before a walk back to your apartment when inumaki suddenly stopped. you followed and looked at him in worry. his eyes were downcast as if contemplating something. everything blurred when he signed a phrase.
i like you.
your brain felt like short-circuiting. your face was heating up. you hadn’t taught him that phrase. you were at loss for words. his eyes were darting nervously back to you, his hands subconsciously tugging on his collar. he stumbled when he was met with arms engulfing him in a hug. you had tackled him when your brain had processed.
“i like you too!”
it was that sweet laugh that followed after that made inumaki’s heart melt. you could barely see his face but the soft pink dusting his cheeks showed his happiness. it took him a few seconds to process your response but when he did, he found his arms hugging you back and his lips planting a small kiss on your head.
help i love him

Jaune: (Walking through the forest with Yang, Looks at a wanted poster on a tree) Hey, Yang, who's that? She kind of looks like you.
Yang: That's Raven Branwen, the supposed "Bandit Queen" around here. Don't bother getting involved with her. She'd just make you look stupid. (Sighs, Looks away) It wouldn't be the first time.
Jaune: ...Right. (Touches her hand) Yang, you know I love you, right?
Yang: ...Yeah, I know. (Holds his hand, Doesn't look at him) Even if you don't deserve someone like me.
Jaune: (Pulls his hand away) What do you mean? Are you saying I'm not good enough for you?
Yang: (Looks at him) What?! No! I know we've only been dating for a few months, but it's not like that! If anything, it's the other way around!
Jaune: (Angry) So you're saying you're too good for me now?!
Yang: No! Argh! You are so annoying right now! What I meant was- (A loud thud is heard nearby, Gunfire explodes in the distance) What was that?
From the treeline, a band of armed thugs barrel out waving their weapons around, hooting and hollering, roaring and barking as they circle the couple. A tree falls, it's trunk sliced clean as a woman with black hair and red eyes walks forward. She sheathes her sword as she sways her hips. She looks exactly like the woman in the wanted poster, becauseshe is the woman from the wanted poster; Raven Branwen.
Raven: Don't waste your breath with her. (Stops in front of the couple) She never understood true power, even when it stared her in the face.
Jaune: Wait, you're-
Raven: Raven Branwen, Bandit Queen. (Bandits roar and cheer until they're silenced by Raven's extended hand, She leans forward into Jaune's face) And you are just my type.
Jaune: (Blushing) Uh, you look just like my girlfriend.
Raven: Well, she is my daughter.
Yang: Stop leering at her, you perv! And you, I thought you didn't want anything to do with me!
Raven: I didn't, but when Tai told me about this boy you're dating, I had to see for myself. He reminds me a lot of him. (Licks her lips) I bet he tastes the same, too. Shay! Vernal!
Shay & Vernal: Yes, ma'am!
Raven: Make sure she doesn't interfere. I want to play with my food right now
Shay & Vernal: Yes, ma'am!
Raven: What's your name, handsome?
Jaune: Uh, Jaune. Jaune Arc.
Raven: Mm, short, sweet, and rolls off the tongue. I bet the ladies love it.
Jaune: Uh...
Raven: If you didn't hear, I'm Raven Branwen. But, the only thing you'll call me from now on is either ma'am or mommy.
Jaune: (Chuckling) That's funny. I like you, Ms. Branwen!
Yang: (Thinking) What is she doing?! Is she... trying to steal Jaune?! (Shakes her head) Whatever! Jaune loves me! He won't surrender to her! ...But we did have that fight just now. He might actually leave me for her. ...No! I just have to put my faith in Jaune! I know he'll stay with me!
Raven: Now, Jaune, what say we have some fun?
Raven unsheathes Omen, taking a combative stance in front of Jaune, who, in turn, unsheathes Crocea Mors. Raven swings at Jaune, holding back her strength as she tests Jaune's skill. Soon, Jaune is beading with sweat as Raven lazily parries and swings at him. Jaune slips into her guard, forcing her to jump back. She chuckles as she watches him pant.
Raven: Not bad, boy. Not bad at all.
Jaune: This... This is too much! I can see why you're the Bandit Queen now.
Raven: What are you staring so hard at me for, boy? You want me? Here, (Takes off her armor, Her perfect-fit clothing underneath leaves nothing to the imagination) have a closer look.
Jaune: (Stammers, Looks to Yang)
Yang: Stop showing off like that, Mom! Why couldn't you just stay out of my love life like dad? In fact, why don't you just stay out of my life?!
Shay: Hey, kid, settle down!
Vernal: Queen Raven ordered us to keep you in place, so that's what we're going to do.
Yang: And having your goons keep me from kicking your butt?! You're the worst!
Raven: Your boyfriend doesn't seem to think that. Just look at how he's panting just from being near me. (Jaune gulps) Tell me, Jaune. What do you like most about me? Is it my lovely hair? My intoxicating scent? Or is something else catching your eyes?
Jaune: C-Can we go back to fighting, please?!
Yang: Why are you dodging the question, you creep?! (Thinking) I'm losing him. It's subtle, but... There's no doubt about it. It can't end like this. Not after everything we've been through!
Raven: Remember this, Jaune; there's a difference between a girl and a woman. Allow me to show you the difference.
Raven swings with more intent this time, forcing Jaune to block and dodge with more caution, as she now kicks at any opening she finds. Jaune slips into her guard again, forcing the two to lock blades. However, Raven takes advantage of this to blow a kiss at Jaune, who flinches and jumps away. Raven follows up with thrust, parry, and slice combination. Jaune noticed Raven switched to a two-handed style, and decided to respond in kind. The battle became more even as Raven began sweating from the effort she was putting in. Jaune leaped away, panting, and stuck his sword into the dirt.
Jaune: Okay, I'm done! I've had enough, Ms. Branwen!
Raven: Aw, what's the matter, baby. Are you losing focus from watching me move so gracefully? I'll bet you have so many nasty thoughts running through your head right now. (Rips open her shirt a little, revealing her cleavage) You want me so bad, don't you?
Yang: (Tears streaming from her eyes, Thinking) That's it. I've lost him. There's no way he doesn't want her after that. It's how she tricked Dad into loving her. (Crying) But, he can't just leave me for her! She just wants to use him as a plaything. If he left me, I at least want to be sure he'll be safe from any harm, but she... It's all my fault. All because of that stupid argument, he's going to leave me all alone!
Jaune: Ugh! Just shut the fuck up already!
Yang: Huh? (Realizes Jaune's holding her)
Raven: Excuse me?!
Jaune: I'm sick of hearing you talk! You're fucking weird, the way you talk to me makes me feel like a baby, and the fact you're putting down your own daughter just to impress a stranger like me, (Glares at Raven, Grinds his teeth) it makes me so fucking furious, I can't stand it! How could you say such foul shit about your daughter?! (Takes a deep breath, Holds Yang close) I love your daughter. I only love your daughter. I mean, yeah, you're attractive, with your nice-smelling hair and your curves and your swordplay, but that doesn't matter. But I wouldn't even be fawning over you if I knew how horrible you really were! (Feels Yang hugging him, Sighs) I'm sorry, baby. I just... I just got so upset when you said I wasn't good enough for you.
Yang: (Sniffs) I wasn't talking about you not being good enough; I was talking about me not being good enough for you. I got so worried that you'd abandon me, I couldn't bear it. I'm sorry it came out wrong to you. I just think you're so amazing, okay? You always rise up against any challenge, even when you know the odds aren't in your favor. You fought bullies, Grimm, my dad, and even the White Fang! You have so much confidence, I can't imagine why you would think you're not good enough! (Sobs) I love you, Jaune! I feel like if you left me, I would literally die!
Jaune: (Shushes her, Pets her hair) I love you, too, and I know what you mean. I feel like... It's like our souls are connected, you know? (Chuckles, Tear rolls down his eye) I'm sorry I'm so corny, and for our fight earlier.
Yang: (Chuckles) It's okay. I like us being corny, and I love that you can be so honest with me.
Jaune: (Chuckles, Kisses the top of her head) I'm so lucky I have you.
Raven: (Holding herself, Panting and squirming) Oh, this feeling~.
Jaune: (Looks up) Huh? (Looks over, Sees Raven half-naked and steaming with a dangerous aura) Uh...
Raven: Oh, Tai hasn't made me feel like this in such a long time~.
Yang: (Gulps) Raven?
Raven: But you, Jaune, (Lewd and wide smile, Sultrily chuckles) you're a whole different breed~! (Points Omen at him, Drooling) You're a man who knows how to put a bitch like me in her place and shows love to his girl after some tramp disses her! (She looks down, Hiding her face) It might be the bare minimum, but... (Looks up, Hungry eyes) I just have to have you! Now pick up the sword and listen carefully, because if you lose this fight, I'm going to make you my new slave! (Chuckles) Who knows? Maybe in a few years, you'll make for a fine bandit.
Shay: Wait, we used to be something before being bandits?
Raven: You can't refuse this, handsome, otherwise I'll kill Yang and give you no choice.
Jaune: Shit. Yang, this doesn't look good.
Yang: Hey, now, that's not the Jaune Arc I love! (Hands him Crocea Mors, Kisses his cheek) Kick her ass for me, okay, baby?
Jaune: (Takes Crocea Mors, Smiles) You got it, baby!
Vernal: Listen up, everyone! Our queen is about to go all out! The odds of her leaving us alive grow slimmer by the second! Know that all of you have been like family to me!
Shay: Even me?
Vernal: Shut up, Shay.
Raven: By the way, handsome, I don't want this to be over too soon, so keep that sword of yours in it's longsword form to keep it interesting. Because this shit's finna get nutty!
Raven wastes no time attacking Jaune, forcing him to block. He's pushed back several feet before side-stepping away. Raven continues until a red portal opens in her path, and she disappears into it. Jaune loses sight of her and barely has enough time to duck as she flies in from behind to strike. He rolls away, but Raven charges again, striking wildly with swings and thrusts. Jaune's muscles ache as he's forced to block and parry. Raven runs towards him again, disappearing into another portal. He looks behind, but doesn't see her. Yang warns him of the strike from above, and he leaps away in time. He notices a golden necklace on the ground, recognizing it from one of the bandits. Unfortunately, Raven was relentless as she continued her assault, and Jaune couldn't afford to stop and think. He decided to go on the offensive this time, clashing with her. When she was pushed back, he charged forward, but ran into her portal, and right into Vernal. The bandit lieutenant jumped away as Jaune thrusted, and he apologized as he she did. He turned in time to catch Raven's blade, but she disappeared as she retreated, using her portal repeatedly to confuse him. Jaune dropped his sword and stepped forward to the golden necklace. He tossed it into the air, forcing Raven to dive to him with her blade extended. She cackled with mad glee as she forced him to fall backwards, only to reel in pain when he kicked her in the face and away from Omen. Raven sprawled and climbed to her knees, looking at Jaune from the wrong end of her weapon.
Raven: (Panting) Jaune... That was... amazing... I feel so... exhilarated... You sapped me of all my juices. Or, well, at least half of my aura, anyways. I know you won, but couldn't you please reconsider and join my family?
Jaune: I don't want you! Damn! (Throws Omen aside) I'm with your daughter because I love her! I love her hair! I love her smell! I love her curves!
Raven: W-What are you saying?!
Jaune: I'm saying I love big-tittied bitches! Mostly your daughter, but the others are cool, too, I guess!
Yang: (Snickers, Covers her mouth)
Jaune: Also, you just let "your family" almost die in our fight! Who the hell does that?!
Raven: (Scoffs) The family knows the tribe is nothing without their queen. If they were worthy, they would be willing to die for me. (Stands up, Shakes her head) Such a sentimental fool. No wonder you're together. (Picks up Omen, Walks away with her tribe) You can have him, Yang.
Yang: ...Thank you, Raven.
Jaune: Wait, that's it?
Raven: Yeah, I don't need any bleeding hearts in my tribe. But you have my blessing, whatever that might mean to you. (Thinking) Fuck, now I'm thinking about him again. I should go chat with him. It has been a few months since our last "reunion."

includes; swearing, fluff, fighting, so much angst
words; 11,394 (im sorry its a whole ass novel)
this takes place late s2, after demetri and hawk’s friendship ends but before eagle fang forms!
Tumblr media
Most of your time in high-school you spent in a bubble, keeping to yourself and just your few friends. You didn’t involve yourself in other people’s crap very often, but when an all-out karate war happened at the end of your junior year, you couldn’t keep lurking in the shadows anymore.
Bullying was becoming heavy at your school, and while you weren’t usually a target, you grew tired of watching other people get hurt. Primarily, by a familiar face to you-- Eli Moskowitz.
Not that you knew him particularly well, but you remembered the shy boy you’d shared classes with, and you always tried your best to be nice to him knowing how others treated him.
You never would’ve thought that now he’d be the bully, destroying the confidence of other kids who were just like him.
“Look at this kid,” He laughed to his friend, Mitch. The two boys were standing in the hall, hovering over a small, scrawny boy who looked terrified. “You wanna be in Cobra Kai? Well, see, we had to be un-flinched first. We can do that for you right now, though. See how much you can take.” He teased, threatening a punch, watching the boy wince at his movement.
When you were in the halls on your way to your next class, you witnessed this horrible incident. You watched for a moment, before deciding that it was time for you to step out of your bubble. “Hey, leave him alone.” You said annoyedly, urging the boys to give it up.
Hawk turned to you and leered, and Mitch pushed the kid against the locker so he wouldn’t move while they dealt with you. “Be careful who you talk to like that, princess.” He moved dangerously close, and despite the feelings of anger you had towards him, your stomach dropped a little at the nickname.
Not letting it affect you, you came back bitterly. “Oh yeah? And who am I talking to, Eli?” His face contorted in disgust at the use of his real name. “You know, it’s sad, how you became everything you used to despise. I remember the other side of you, you were sweet..” You said, smiling to your self in remembrance. “And now look at you.” Looking at him in resentment, you finished.
Turning angrily on his heel at your words, Hawk punched the boy in the face and let him go running. He looked back at you with a look of victory, and Mitch smirked. “You better watch your back.” Hawk said threateningly, and knocked his shoulder into yours as he walked to his class.
Through the rest of the day, Hawk thought about you. He knew who you were; Y/N, the only girl to ever be nice to him during his shier days. He remembered the feeling he got any time you’d talked to him, and also how pretty you looked each time you did.
He had almost forgotten until then, how much he had always admired you. He even wanted to ask you out all that time ago, but now too much has changed. Way too much, clearly, because when the commercial for Miyagi-Do came out, you were quick to join.
It was that interaction with Hawk that really set you off, actually. You wanted to be able to stop the cruelty, and you thought that joining Miyagi-Do for defense would be a good start.
Little did you know, the rivalry would only grow.
As weeks passed, Miyagi-Do gained students and flourished. But in the meanwhile, Cobra Kai only got rougher, angrier, and just.. worse, in general.
You had done your best to avoid fights, (like a true Miyagi-Do would) but on a particularly bad day of yours, you were unlucky enough to find yourself running into Tory outside of school.
Being close friends with Sam, you knew to stay clear of Tory after hearing what she did to her. You thought Tory was a vile human being, though, and if she were to start anything-- she was probably the one person you wouldn’t hesitate to absolutely destroy.
When on your way to the dojo, you took a pit stop at a convenience store to pick up some snacks since you had some time to kill between after school and when practice started. You were met with an unpleasant surprise on your way out, when you saw Tory approaching the store.
The two of you made eye contact as you crossed paths, and you decided to ignore her and keep walking. Until, as you walked past each other, Tory stuck out her leg and tripped you over the concrete pathway.
“Are you kidding me, bitch?” You pushed yourself up, scoffing at her, and she smiled maniacally. “What’d you just call me?” She teased, obviously looking for a fight.
As much as you wanted to stay calm, you were pushed over the edge. “You heard me, bitch.” You repeated, letting her know you were not afraid. “What’s your problem? I keep away from you and you just can’t help yourself from starting something. I’ve never even done anything to you.” You confronted Tory, looking for an explanation for her behavior.
It was true, you’d hardly ever interacted with her-- but since you’re in Miyagi-Do and friends with Sam, she just didn’t like you. And Tory being Tory, if she didn’t like someone, she was going to be a bitch about it.
She laughed at your attempt to reason with her, and looked at you in self-satisfaction. “I just think it’d be fun to watch you bleed.” She seemed proud at the insult, stepping forward threateningly-- but you thought it was pretty lame.
Clearly, she had no real answer for the questions you asked her. She was far gone in her own world, using only anger to dictate her decisions.
You had let out a disappointed sigh, shaking your head, and turned to simply leave the situation, remembering that it wasn’t worth it. But Tory had other plans.
She grabbed your wrist, twisting it painfully forcing your body to face her. You quickly rotated it to release yourself from her grip, and punched her in the face with your newly freed hand.
“Leave me alone, Tory. This fighting for no reason crap is bullshit.” You said, stepping out of her proximity and holding your fists up in case of needed defense. Tory felt blood trickle from her nose, and as she wiped it from her face, she threw you a sickening sneer.
Seemingly avid on letting her rage out on you, she only continued. “You’re pathetic.” She cackled, taking a swing at you. You blocked this, but the movement left an opening for her to then kick your stomach, which sent you to the ground.
Before you could manage to get up again, she was hovering over you, punching your face repeatedly. It wasn’t until the pain was sinking in that you finally gained enough power to push her off, rolling forward and pinning her down tightly.
You grabbed a fistful of her hair, turning her face towards the ground. “Give it up, Tory.” She stayed quiet, breathing heavily, until she used her remaining strength to free her arm and dig her elbow into your side.
You fell back at this, and you were now both sat on the ground, mere inches from each other. “Seriously, I mean what’s the point? What are you gaining from this besides a couple of bruises?” You stood up, asking again.
You genuinely wanted to know, what could make a person so heartless. You had done nothing to provoke her, yet she was so intent on hurting you. Your question had unfortunately only sparked her rage again, the way you acted so ‘above it all,’ in Tory’s mind made her only angrier.
She rose, charging towards you for another strike, when the owner of the convenience store came out. “What the hell is this? Do I need to call the police?” The man asked. He had caught you in the blocking position of Tory’s attack, and she bitterly pushed herself off of you.
“You got lucky.” She spat, walking back towards the store she was originally on her way into. “Think about it, Tory! Why?” You yelled as she walked away, wanting your final words to sink into her.
You assured the owner that you were fine, and that he didn’t need to get the cops involved. You took out your phone and checked your complexion in the front camera, cringing seeing the cuts and bruises from Tory’s punches all over your face.
But remembering the bloody nose you had given her in your first punch, you smiled to yourself. Looking at your phone’s clock, you had certainly killed the time, but much more than you had wanted to. You were going to be late, so you texted Sam, alerting her that you got in a fight (sparing the details for later,) and that you would be late to practice.
You figured you could just clean up your cuts when you got home, it wasn’t a big deal, probably. But on your walk to the dojo, a passing car slowed at the sight of you. You started walking faster, instantly assuming the worst, but when the window rolled down, you heard a familiar, extremely unpleasant voice. Hawk.
“On your way to practice, huh? Still no car?” He taunted, knowing you still hadn’t saved up enough to buy your own. You glanced at him and rolled your eyes, continuing to walk down the sidewalk. How many enemies were you going to bump into today?
That was when he noticed your face. “Jesus, Y/N, what happened to you?” He laughed, fully stopping the car. You halted and responded annoyedly, “Tory happened. Now if youll excuse me, I’m going to be late.” Turning back towards the walkway, you continued down the street.
But before you could get far, Hawk had gotten out of his car and caught up to you. “You’re not seriously headed to the dojo like that are you?” He said confusedly, trying to keep up with your pace.
You looked at him like his question was stupid, and continued walking. At your ignoring of him, he pushed his point further. “You need to clean those cuts.” He said, still following close behind you as you walked.
“Since when do you care?” You said irritated, continuing to disregard the boy’s words. At this, he finally stopped following. “You know what, fine.” He stood, speaking sharply, and you looked at him curiously at his abruptness. “Just trying to help, or, be nice or whatever.” He muttered aggravatedly, raising his hands in mocking surrender at your attitude.
You had ignored his concerns, because quite honestly you didn’t believe he was actually concerned. You had assumed it was some sort of set up for a new insult, or a way to just mess up your face even more.
“Oh yeah? That’s pretty unusual for you, isn’t it?” You said rudely, engaging back in the conversation. Hawk pursed his lips together and shifted uncomfortably.
You didn’t know it, but Hawk still cared about you. He may have changed, but his feelings for you hadn’t— as much as he tried to get them to. And right now, seeing you hurt, and since there was nobody around to judge him for it, he wanted to help you.
“Look, I’ve got some first aid stuff in my car. Let me help.” He stayed where he was, not wanting to provoke you, and spoke softly, nudging his head towards his car.
You narrowed your eyes looking at him, feeling skeptical of accepting the invitation. He noticed your hesitation, but did not back down, looking at you expectantly for an answer.
You let out an exasperated sigh, and walked towards his car without saying a word. Continuing to argue with him about it seemed like a waste of time to you at this point.
Hawk smiled to himself in relief that you gave in. Hurrying after you, he retrieved the first aid kit from the trunk of his car and ran to open the passenger seat door.
“You wanna sit?” He pointed at the seat, motioning you to take it. You dropped your bag and got in the car, still glaring at Hawk.
He seemed sincere in his intentions, but you really just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. Who knows what he could really be planning?
As you took your seat, you reached out to take the kit from Hawk’s grasp. “Hold on,” he said, moving the box away from your reach.
You gave him a bothered look, scrunching your eyebrows in confusion. “Have you ever even done this before?” He said, referring to cleaning up after a fight.
“No?” You shrugged, “It can’t be that hard.” You said impatiently, reaching for the box again. “Can you please just let me do it? I’ll show you how for next time.” He practically pleaded, wanting to make sure it was done right so you healed properly.
You didn’t understand why it was such a big deal to him, but you were tired of going back and forth with him. “Whatever, just make it quick. I’ll miss all of karate class at this rate.” You complained, moving closer to the edge of the seat so Hawk could reach you.
The height of his car made you two the same height, so Hawk was face to face with you as you were seated. “Hmm, miss a Miyagi-Do lesson? I don’t see the problem.” He joked, almost making light of their rivalry.
You smiled lightly at that, playfully rolling your eyes, but not saying anything. He stood close enough to examine your face, and it was close enough to make you both nervous.
It was silent as he opened the kit and started to clean your cuts, but you broke it to ask a question that was burning in you. “Why are you doing this?”
He looked at you for a second, looking reluctant to answer your question. “What do you mean?” He dodged, continuing to tend to your bruises.
You laughed, knowing full well he knew what you meant, but deciding to answer him anyway. “Why are you helping me? We aren’t friends.” You said plainly, making sure to keep your face still.
“I don’t know, you just obviously needed it.” He brushed off the seriousness of the question, starting to dab the cloth over your lip so you couldn’t talk.
You pushed his hand away lightly. “That’s hardly an answer. You’d never help a Miyagi-Do, so why?” You snapped, not letting his hand near your face again until he answered.
He finally took a step back, and stared at you looking defeated. “You’re the only one who was ever nice to me. Before.. this.” He pointed to his hair, referring to the era of The Hawk.
You crossed your arms skeptically. “Aren’t you forgetting someone?” You asked expectantly, and he rolled his eyes. “Demetri’s different, okay? He betrayed me. But you..”
He trailed off, struggling to maintain eye contact with you. “You were never anything but good to me. You deserve better.” He said, and your heart both stung and fluttered at once, trying to figure out what was going on with him.
You wondered if his actions were truly coming from a place of sincerity. It was very unlike him to be anything but an asshole, so hearing something like that come out of his mouth really made you think.
He tried to ignore the sentiment he had just said by walking back towards you and starting to tend to your wounds again, but you only pushed him back for a second time.
“I don’t understand what happened to you.” You said sadly, examining the way he stood. “I changed.” He said monotonously, trying to avoid matching your energy of seriousness.
His hot-and-cold temper was starting to annoy you, the way he would open up just to close right back down again.
“Yeah, and not for the better. Are you even happy?” You said, frustrated, looking at him hard. His face turned sour.
“More than I was before!” He yelled, stepping towards you threateningly. You were taken aback at his outburst, suddenly feeling small as he grew angrier. “My life was hell, remember?” His voice cracked, and he tried to calm himself as he saw the way you leaned back into your seat uncomfortably.
“Look, I’m sorry for keeping you, I probably cleaned you up enough so... just go.” He said softly, sounding regretful as he moved out of the way so you could get out of the car.
You furrowed your brows in confusion. You felt completely clueless on how he was feeling, and you didn’t want to leave it like this. “Hawk-“, you started, but he cut you off. “No, just go.” He pointed away. “I was stupid to think I’d get a second chance with you.” He muttered to himself, turning to walk around to the drivers seat of his car.
“Wh— second chance? What do you mean?” You shouted after him and hopped off the seat, grabbing his arm before he could get too far.
At your tug of his arm, he looked back at you with the most intense feeling in his eyes. Not wanting to use his words anymore, Hawk turned to grab your wrist from the hand that was already resting on his arm, and pulled you against him.
Hawk smashed his lips onto yours, holding you loosely in fear of your rejection. You weren’t expecting it, but you didn’t pull away. Your kiss continued and you subconsciously shuffled backwards, now being able to lean against the side of the car as he grew more passionate in his movements.
Being with him like this felt amazing, but it was confusing, too-- you had to pull away and clear up this situation.
Finally letting each other go, Hawk looked at you with glossy eyes. You had no idea where all of this came from or what to say, so you were silent as you waited for him to explain.
He knew what you were waiting for, and sighed deeply before expressing how he felt. “I just feel like after everything, I owe you my best.” Hawk said quietly, and you waited for him to go on, having not yet made up your mind on the whole situation.
You enjoyed the kiss, yes-- but you didn’t understand why it had happened, and that was something you needed to know before anything could proceed further. Hawk was a jerk, and he was going to have a lot of explaining to do for you to suddenly be able to forget that.
He moved even closer, and reached his hand out to brush your hair away from your face. “And I don’t like seeing you hurt.” He whispered, ghosting his fingers across the bruises on your face.
You felt a shiver down your spine as he touched you, closing your eyes in the moment. “And,” he pulled away from you, his voice changing to a more regular tone again, “I don’t ever want to be the reason you feel pain. Not after all those times you helped me escape mine.” He said, reaching out to hold your hand, as he referred to how you were there for him so long ago.
Pure concern and care for Hawk overtook you as the words left his lips, and you had never felt so conflicted in your life. It made sense to you now why he would often avoid you, whereas others he’d make it his mission to pick fights with.
He had just admitted to caring about you, and that he never wanted to be at fault for your hurt. He had a reputation to uphold, but he really did have a soft spot for you that never went away.
You felt like you were talking to Eli again, as though the sweet boy he once was had never left, but you also knew that once this moment was over, he’d go back to his corrupt ways again. And that terrified you.
All these new feelings for Hawk were rising in you, but how could you act on them when he was supposed to be your enemy?
He studied your expression, waiting for you to say something. He felt more confident now, seeing as you kissed him back, but he was still nervous for whatever you were about to say.
“What do we do?” You spoke shakily, your expression timid and lost. He caressed his thumb over your hand, noticing your own nerves. “What do you mean?” He asked, not expecting that to be your first question.
“I’ve always cared about you and you know that, but then you go through all these changes and become a total dick, and now you kiss me and tell me how you care too.” You say awkwardly, trying to point out the weirdness of the situation. “I’m confused, Hawk, and afraid. We can’t be together when everything about our lives will keep us apart.” You whimpered, scattering your eye contact.
His heart leapt at the mention of you two being together, but frowned once registering the context of the words. He suddenly felt guilty, seeing how distressed you were. Maybe he shouldn’t have done this, he thought.
But it was too late now, and as he released your hand to move forward and hold you, he never wanted to let go.
“I’m sorry.” He mumbled into your ear. He knew his recent actions since joining Cobra Kai weren’t exactly admirable-- he knew he should do better. But it was hard; and all he could muster right now, was an apology.
There was a lot to process in such a short moment of time, and you felt overwhelmed. You felt comforted and safe as he held you, but at the same time you felt wrong for feeling that way.
Maybe he was trying to do right by you, but would that be enough if he continued to act terribly when everyone else was around? You needed some time to think. “I should go.” You pulled away from his grasp, trying to be gentle even though your exit was abrupt.
“Oh,” he nodded, watching as you picked up your karate bag. “I just don’t want everyone at the dojo to worry.” You said, trying to rid the conversation of its tension.
He was trying to play it cool, but he was screaming on the inside, terrified that once you left you would never talk to him again. “Just promise you’ll fix that when you get home.” Referring to your still-slightly-messed-up face, he urged you, unable to refrain from making sure you took care of yourself.
You smiled sadly and nodded in response, feeling awkward about everything as you turned to walk back on your route towards the dojo. “And um,” You looked back at him once more. “Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone.” You said, assuming he wouldn’t want his Cobra Kai friends to find out he had kissed a Miyagi-Do.
His heart broke when you said this-- you basically thought he was ashamed of you? In a way you were right, he didn’t want them to know. But the guilt that spread across his face at your words, showed how badly he wanted to tell everyone just how much he liked you.
Clearing his throat, he tried to pull himself together again. “Right, yeah. See you.” He said, and watched you for a moment as you walked away.
Getting back into his car, he fought the emotions threatening to spill out, and pushed them away as he headed home. He couldn’t stop thinking about his next move, and what would happen next time he saw you.
Obviously the first thing he would want to do is kiss you, and hold you, and touch you.. but he knew that instead he would likely end up being encouraged by his friends to attack you in some way.
He couldn’t just say, ‘back off guys, she’s cool, i like her now.’ because that would definitely earn him a beating and a seat at the rejects table. He had been fighting these feelings for so long because of this exact reason, and he was pissed at himself that he couldn’t have just kept it under control for longer.
It would have been easier for him, and you. Even you were worrying as you walked to practice about what you were going to do when you saw him again. Your friends may be more forgiving than Hawk’s, but you doubted they’d be particularly thrilled about any of this news.
They would surely tell you to be careful, not to trust him, that it was just a game to find a weakness in you. These doubts inflicted your mind constantly, and it sucked that you had to figure all of it out on your own.
You were a half-hour late to karate when you arrived, and luckily Sensei Larusso had the tools to heal the remaining injuries on your face. You explained what happened with Tory, but you didn’t tell them about Hawk.
Your classmates were angry, Sam especially, and you were too. But after everything, you knew nobody in Cobra Kai was really in their right mind. Tory was an out of control girl with aggression issues, and Hawk was constantly battling a feeling of pressure and pent-up rage.
The worst thing about being in Miyagi-Do, was knowing the right way to go, and knowing that the right way was going to be a long, slow, and difficult process. It was a waiting game at this point-- how many fights would it take for the Cobra Kai kids to realize that wasn’t what they needed to do?
How much pain would they all have to endure, to realize there were better ways to solve their problems? You had only hoped that Hawk taking this step towards you was a step in the right direction-- and that maybe the rest of the Cobras would soon follow.
But until then, it was a secret. And the next few times you saw Hawk were an extreme struggle for the both of you.
Each passing day that you’d make eye contact at school, you’d both immediately look away. Neither of you had spoken or even texted since the kiss, and you were both failing miserably at proper communication.
At first, you thought that maybe the whole thing had been a mistake, and maybe it should just be left alone. But recalling everything Hawk said to you that day, you couldn’t ignore how real it felt. You wanted to be with him, but you had no clue how to go about that.
You were waiting for Hawk to make the next move, but to Hawk-- the ball was in your court. You had left him there, with no definite answer on how you felt about it, and never got back to him since. It seemed to him like you wanted to forget about it, so when one of Moon’s parties rolled around that weekend, he decided to forget about it too.
You were coming to the party, but got there late; and what a wonderful sight it was for the first thing to see as you walk in be Hawk, face inches away from another girl’s, flirting the night away.
Of course, you thought, feeling disgusted at what was in front of you. Of course everything he said was bullshit. You couldn’t figure out for the life of you what his goal was in pretending to care for you, especially when he got basically nothing out of it except a stupid kiss he could’ve gotten from anyone-- but clearly none of it was as real as you thought it was.
It’d been a few days, sure, but you thought maybe tonight you’d finally just talk to him. You watched as the girl played with the string of Hawk’s hoodie, and feeling a pang of jealousy you decided to walk by them, making sure your presence was known.
It definitely worked, because at the notice of your movements he excused himself from the conversation and followed you out towards the pool, where you had gone to get away from the sight of Hawk and the girl.
“Hey.” He whispered, as you poured yourself a drink. “Hi.” You replied boredly with your back turned to him, not exactly feeling excited to have a conversation with him.
He looked around, scoping out who may be listening, but luckily the only others outside were heavily invested in the drinking game going on at the other side of the patio.
Hawk could tell you were bothered about the girl, but didn’t understand why, since you had so obviously been avoiding him.
“Can we talk?” He asked, still being cautious as to not attract any attention. “Go ahead.” You were being difficult, but quite frankly you thought he deserved it. He made you spend days analyzing what had happened between you, only for him to move on from it after a few days?
He stomped closer, and you looked up at him. “You know we can’t talk here.” He nodded his head towards the back of the yard, hoping you’d go with him somewhere private.
You scoffed, and looked at the spot doubtfully. You were upset, but still curious to hear what he had to say. “Fine.” You rolled your eyes, feeling disappointed in yourself for giving in, but you couldn’t pretend you weren’t dying to know what the hell he was thinking.
Hawk walked eagerly to the secluded part of Moon’s property, hoping to get some clarity from you. But before Hawk could say anything, your anger got the best of you.
“So what the hell is your problem?” You started, as soon as you knew you were out of earshot from the rest of the party. Hawk looked taken aback, his eyebrows immediately coming together. “Me? What are you talking about?” He said, offended.
You looked at him in disbelief, mouth dropping open slightly. “Are you joking? Are we going to pretend you weren’t just about to make out with that girl in there?” You said, feeling a twinge of hurt from your own words.
His face knotted in confusion and annoyance. “Seriously? You’re jealous right now? After I confessed everything to you, and you avoided me for days afterwards, I was just supposed to think you actually wanted me?” He tried to keep his voice down, but his emotions were getting the better of him.
“What? I just needed some time to think! It’s not like you bothered to text me either!” You whisper-shouted, now feeling like you were missing something.
“Well when you kiss someone and they basically run away from you, who’s responsibility do you think it is to reach out after?!” He threw his arms up in bafflement, looking at you expectantly.
Your face fell to a look of guilt, and eventually his did too. Suddenly you both felt like idiots at how far you jumped to conclusions.
“I was gonna talk to you today. But when I saw you in there with that girl, all these insecurities just came over me. I thought everything you said was just some Cobra prank and it never meant anything.” Your face drooped, feeling a little embarrassed to admit any of this.
His eyes saddened, and he shook his head. “And I just thought you hated me, and that no matter what I said it’d never be enough for you to forgive me.” He explained his own worry, and your eyes started to water at his words.
Feeling overwhelmed after finally being able to piece together what had been going on this whole time, you sprung into his arms, hugging him tightly. You both stayed embraced, enjoying the feeling of comfort from each other once again, until you finally felt strong enough to pull yourself away.
He kept a hand around your head, as though cradling something delicate. “I meant everything I said that day. It’s not a scheme. I want to be with you.” He told you, proving your suspicions wrong.
You smiled weakly, feeling warm at his confession, but nervous for what’s to come. “I’m sorry I never texted you, but I just don’t get how we’re going to do this.” You said, unconvinced. “We can’t tell anyone, and despite whatever we have, there are a lot more reasons why we won’t work than will.” You look away, your mood of happiness faltering at the idea of being realistic.
“I mean, you know I like you Hawk. And maybe it’s different for us, but, I can’t exactly support the way you treat other people.” You say reluctantly, trying not to sound rude. Hawk gulped, looking down shamefully.
Not wanting to think realistically right now, he ignored what you said and pulled you closer. “We’ll figure it out.” He said sweetly, and moved his hand to lift your chin, kissing you tenderly. As nervous as you were about all of it, the way he kissed you somehow seemed to make all your worries disappear.
Just then as your lips met, sirens went off nearby. “Shit, cops?” Hawk said, breaking apart from you. You giggled at the unfortunate turn of events. “You go that way,” you pointed him in the opposite direction of where you were planning to exit, not wanting others to notice you were together. “See you around.” You said playfully, and he caught on to your plan.
Before he could give you a final peck or even say goodbye, you were gone around the corner of the house, and he wondered longingly when he’d finally be able to kiss you again.
The next couple days at school you’d both done your best to avoid looking suspicious with each other. There were many stolen glances, and lots of private texts, but you both somehow managed to keep whatever fling you two had completely under wraps.
Though you had been initially uncomfortable with the whole secret-dating-thing, you eventually gave up on worrying about what would happen if others found out. You were happy, and having a lot of fun sneaking around with Hawk.
You noticed he had even toned down some of his bullying, and your heart felt full at the thought that he might have done that for you. Of course, there were always a few ‘slip-ups’.. but he made sure you weren’t around to see those.
Even if it was difficult, it was thrilling in a way-- having make-out sessions in his car when no one was around to see, and slipping in through each others’ windows at night to see each other...
It was fun, pretending to hate each other by day, and then not being able to stay away from each other by night. It felt like the whole school was being pranked, and you two were the only ones in on it.
It had been a few weeks now since you admitted to liking each other at Moon’s party, and you were now headed to the sports shed near the soccer field where Hawk had asked you to meet him after school.
You’d came here and gotten a little wild with him twice before, so at the invitation you fully expected to be met with an aggressive Hawk, ready to hook up. But instead when you opened the shed door, he was standing shyly and gave you the sweetest smile.
“Hey,” he said, taking a small step forward to meet where you were standing. “Hi, baby,” you grinned and kissed him chastely, taking note of the more innocent energy coming from him today.
He wrapped his arms around you, his eyes examining your face adoringly. “Um,” he said, radiating nervousness and backing up slightly. “What’s up?” You smiled at him curiously, taking his hands in yours.
After only a moment, he released his hands from your hold, and you suddenly felt concerned. Why was he acting so weird? You watched confusedly as he fiddled with the inside pocket of his jacket, not saying a word.
Pulling out a small box, he opened it to reveal a simple but beautiful silver necklace. “Hawk!” You gasped, looking at it in awe. He felt more confident at your reaction, and felt safe to say something again.
“I thought that, since we always have to act around each other, you could wear it as a reminder of how we really feel.” He said, searching your expression for some sort of approval.
You stared at him in admiration, not yet able to find the words to respond. “It’s simple, so nobody will think it means anything, but, we’ll know.” He spoke again, hoping for it to grant a response from you this time.
Your face began to bloom with happiness. Taking the box from his hands, you kissed him passionately. “I love it. Can you put it on me?” You asked cheerfully, and Hawk smiled brightly. “Yeah,” he nodded excitedly, turning you around.
You did your best to move your hair out of the way, and Hawk gently pushed the few stray strands to the side. Feeling his fingers brush across your skin, you breathed heavily. You could feel his own breath hot on your neck, as he clasped the two ends of the jewelry together.
With your back still against his torso, he placed his hands around your waist, starting to leave soft kisses against your ear, and down towards your collarbone.
You closed your eyes, soaking in the feeling, until the door of the shed barged open. You stumbled away from each other in shock, and looked to see Tory standing in front of the both of you.
“I knew it! What the hell is this, Hawk?” She screamed, prowling towards you. Feeling completely unprepared from the utter suddenness of the situation, you stepped back in fear. “What are you doing here!?” Hawk shouted, ignoring Tory’s question as he blocked her path from getting to you.
She sneered at the both of you, stopping as she noticed his protectiveness over you. “I’ve noticed how you sneak off at the end of school. I finally decided to follow you here.” She said matter-of-factly, giving you a glare.
“So what is she, Hawk? Your girlfriend?” She taunted, starting to circle you. Out of everything she’d said so far, that was the thing that actually made you the most nervous. You hadn’t actually used that word before... ‘girlfriend,’ you hadn’t really made it official, despite how much it felt like you already had.
You weren’t sure how Hawk would react now that he was caught, but you desperately hoped he would say, ‘Yes, she is, and I love her.’ But that was nowhere close, to what he said.
“What? No! We’re just having some fun, alright? It doesn’t mean anything.” He forced a laugh, stepping away from you. Your heart ached. This is what you were afraid of. You knew it was probably for the best for him to have said that, but you couldn’t ignore the hurt you felt when you heard him say it.
You wished he would’ve right then and there just admitted it, stood up for himself, and chosen you. He could’ve just told the truth, and left Cobra Kai, and been with you. But you weren’t enough. He had a reputation to uphold.
“Oh, really.” Tory scoffed, barely believing his lie as she looked between the two of you. “You can have fun with anyone, Hawk, and you a choose a Miyagi-Do?” She spat, staring him down, and his usually-confident demeanor diminished instantly. “Break it off, or I tell everyone.”
Storming off, her threat lingered in the air as the two of you stood alone, unable to meet each other’s gazes.
“Maybe we should just end this, Y/N.” Hawk spoke meekly, finally breaking the silence. Your eyes widened in horror, forcing yourself to look up at him. “What?” You said, your voice faltering. “So that’s just it then?”
Tears threatened to spill out of your eyes again as he met your stare. “We don’t have any other choice!” He shouted angrily, getting in your face. Your mouth fell agape at the way he was acting, your expression hardening.
“Yes, we DO!” You shouted back, and sobs started to escape you. You of course meant the choice being he stands up to the Cobras, and fights for your relationship. You understood his dilemma in the beginning, but at this point none of it seemed worth it to you anymore.
His eyes were fixated on you intensely, and his mind was running a mile a minute trying to figure out what to do.
“You can easily stand up to them, the Cobras! You’re stronger than all of them combined. Why won’t you fight for us?” You cried, searching for any sign in his face that showed he regretted his words. He had never said so, but you could tell the only thing holding him back was the fear of the Cobras’ reactions.
His insides scrambled with guilt watching you cry. But he had to stay strong. Unaffected, unfazed, completely unbothered. That’s how he forced his expression to appear as he turned and left the shed, leaving you alone and in pain as you watched your worst fear come true.
“Hawk!” You yelled after him, but he only kept walking. “What happened to never wanting to be the reason I felt pain?” Your voice cracked, and you wiped your tears from your face, giving up.
Your words cut into Hawk like a knife. If even possible, Hawk was hurting more than you. Each step he took farther away from where you stood, he felt his heart scatter into another piece. He wished things could be different, too-- but you were too much of a risk.
Cobra Kai may be a large reason for his troubles, but it was also the only reason he was still on top. He wanted you so bad, but he was too afraid to let go of everything else just to have you.
It was safer this way, he told himself. If nobody knew, you’d be safer. You wouldn’t have to be involved in the drama that would come from it, you wouldn’t have another reason for the Cobras to come after you, and you wouldn’t have to worry about him anymore.
Hawk repeated these things to himself over and over to make himself feel better about the way things ended. But no matter what he told himself, it was never enough for him to fully believe that he made the right choice.
Feeling helpless, you called the only person you thought might understand. “D-Demetri?” You spoke into the phone, taking a gasp for air between sobs.
“Y/N? Are you ok?” He answered, sounding worried. “I need to talk to you, can you-” You paused, trying to catch your breath. “Can you come get me?” You were nervous he wouldn’t be able to, but you needed someone in person, not over text.
You and Demetri weren’t particularly besties, so for you to call him out of the blue, crying, was extremely worrisome to him. “Uh, yeah, okay sure. I only just left so I can turn back.”
Letting out a shaky breath of relief, you thanked Demetri and hung up, walking out of the shed and towards the front of the school to where he would be meeting you. Hawk was supposed to be your ride home, but clearly that was no longer an option.
When Demetri arrived, he didn’t wait for you to get in the car, he immediately got out and walked over to you. “What happened?” He said cautiously, becoming nervous about having to deal with others’ emotions.
He was never particularly great at consolation, being the awkward and blunt person he is-- and he really didn’t want to make things worse for you.
“It’s Eli,” You said, trying to hold back your tears. “I did something really stupid.” Your lip quivered, feeling embarrassed talking about it. You weren’t supposed to tell anyone about you and Hawk, but at this point, you had nothing left to lose.
Demetri looked at you confused. “What do you mean?” To his knowledge, you and Hawk barely conversed, and there should be absolutely no reason whatsoever for you to be crying over him.
The closer you got to explaining it, the harder it got to contain your emotions. Despite knowing Demetri wasn’t very keen on hugs, you ran into him, desperate for the feeling of comfort.
At this point, Demetri’s level of concern was on the rise. Why on earth would you hug him? That’s never happened before. “I just thought you’d be the only one who would understand... if I told someone.” You spoke, words slightly muffled as you were pressed into his chest.
Reluctantly, Demetri accepted your hug and rested his arms around you. “Okay, Y/N, you’re scaring me. What did he do?” He asked, looking down at you.
Gaining the courage to explain yourself, to Demetri’s relief you let go of him and steadied your breathing. “A few weeks ago.. Hawk and I kissed.” You said hesitantly, preparing for the worst.
“What?” Demetri’s face scrunched into the most confused and offended look you’d ever seen him wear. “I know, okay, just wait.” You told him, hoping he would hear you out.
“I thought it was just a stupid mistake, or something?” You began, recalling the uncertainty you felt when it first happened. “But then he said all this stuff about how much he cared about me, and it turns out we actually have something real.”
Aware of the weirdness of what you were saying, you looked to see how Demetri was handling it. He showed a look of understanding, but you could tell he was simply masking the discomfort he was truly feeling. “It was really confusing at first, but then we started secretly dating.. because we knew everyone would flip if they found out.” You continued, the awkwardness worsening with each sentence spoken.
Demetri’s eyebrows rose. “Dating?” You visibly cringed at the reaction, but carried on with your story. “And he even started being nicer to people!” You mentioned, hoping to make the situation seem like you weren’t a complete idiot for allowing it to happen. “Because, I told him I didn’t think I could be with him-- with the way he treats people, you know? And things were actually going well until today--”
You took a moment, preparing the end of your explanation in the hopes you wouldn’t start to cry through it. Demetri looked at you impatiently.
“When Tory found us together and threatened to tell everyone about us if we didn’t break it off, and then Hawk just left me there and said that we should end things because he’s a coward and can’t do what’s right because HE WANTS TO LOOK COOL.” You shouted, running through the sentences fast and furiously. Instead of getting sad like you thought you would, you got angry. Ah yes, another stage of grief.
Demetri looked slightly scared of you at your sudden tantrum, but having heard your story, he did understand what you were feeling-- because in a way, it had happened to him too. This time, it was him who reached out to hug you, and you appreciated him for it. Hugs always seemed to make you feel calm.
“I’m sorry, Y/N. I know how it feels. He’s stuck right now, but we can’t give up, okay? He’ll come around.” He said honestly, awkwardly patting your back. You laughed a tiny bit, seeing Demetri trying to console, but you were grateful for his presence.
You released each other from the hug, and you wiped any leftover tears off of your face. “Thanks, Demetri.” You said, smiling sweetly. He nodded, placing his hand on your arm in reassurance, and motioned for you to follow to his car.
The ride back to your house was quiet, but your thoughts were busy and loud. That’s how things were for awhile after that day. You kept to yourself again, and though you tried to look alive, you felt like you had retreated back inside the bubble you worked so hard to get out of.
You went to school, you went to karate, you did whatever responsibilities you had to do-- but for the rest of your free time, you spent it alone in your room, wondering what it would take for Hawk to come back to you.
It was unhealthy, really, how you would wait everyday for a sign of acknowledgement from Hawk, and decline any other social invitation because you never got one.
You even wore the necklace, everyday, in hopes that he’d notice and remember how much you meant to him. But it never worked. He never came back.
You got away with the isolation for awhile, but people were starting to notice how you’ve been pulling away. At least you had Demetri to cover for you once and awhile, to help keep up the facade that you were okay.
Because, you weren’t. You wondered if Hawk was, though. He certainly seemed like he was okay, but he couldn’t be. For your own peace of mind, you had to think he couldn’t be. To think that he was doing just fine while you were spending your days miserable, wouldn’t be fair.
He’s stuck right now, but he’ll come around. Demetri’s words echoed in your head, wondering if they were even true. Would he ever really come around? Is he in too deep? The thoughts scared you beyond belief, but as more days passed, the more you believed them.
You eventually forced yourself to stop caring. To stop thinking about it, and to just give it up. You’d spent too long waiting for him, and you were done letting his actions control your happiness. Although there was a part of you that could never really stop caring, you convinced yourself that it was gone.
After a few weeks, you stopped wearing the necklace. When you showed up to school without it on, it was the first time Hawk had noticeably looked at you since the breakup. He always avoided your eye contact, but that day he locked them onto yours as you passed him in the hall. His gaze flickered from your eyes to your neck, and you could see the glum look all over his face.
As much as you wanted to give in to the hope that he missed you, you ignored it. You weren’t going to let any of those thoughts in again-- not when you already worked so hard to let go of them.
Hawk watched you make your way through the corridors, hardly caring who noticed. While you may have had the ability to attempt to move on, he didn’t. It was his fault any of this happened after all, and it was completely up to him whether or not he could fix things between you.
The pressure of knowing he was the only reason for your and his despair was agonizing, and with the necklace no longer around your neck, he realized he was running out of time.
Time is what he thought he had, to turn things around for himself, and you. But his window was closing, and he was panicking.
Not knowing what else to do, Hawk waited a few blocks away from where you trained at Miyagi-Do, knowing he’d catch you on your walk home.
Making your way down the sidewalk after practice, you were completely unsuspecting when Hawk jumped out of his car and jogged towards you.
Things had really come full circle now, hadn’t they? You, walking home on that same sidewalk, pure disgust for Hawk in your veins as he tried to catch up with you.
You stopped short as Hawk stood in front of you, blocking your path. You were nervous and confused at his intrusion, and decided not to bother avoiding him right now.
His stare towards you was intense, and you only glared back, waiting for him to say what he needed to say.
“You stopped wearing the necklace.” He said it so plainly, you couldn’t tell what kind of response he was looking for. It seemed almost like a question in disguise-- why did you stop wearing the necklace, perhaps?
He was looking at you eagerly, though trying to hide the desperation behind the statement.
“Yeah, and?” You laughed at him, matching his tone of carelessness. He looked like he didn’t understand, so you continued. “What’d you expect? That I’d just keep waiting for you?” You said unpleasantly, with a hint of sadness in your own voice.
A shameful look glossed over his features, but you only kept going. “It’s obvious you’re not coming back, Hawk.” You smile at him mockingly, enjoying the feeling of guilt you were giving him.
He tried to stay strong, but every word you spoke was like a hit to his built-up walls, and they were so close to falling down.
“I spent weeks wondering what I’d have to do to get you to come back to me. To choose me.” You said, your voice calm, but the rest of you not. Your body was shaking with anger now, but your eyes were brimming with tears.
“Until,” You sniffled, gaining a tone of indifference, “I finally realized there was nothing for me to do. You just weren’t coming.” You were almost smiling through the pain, and Hawk looked at you in a loss for words.
You appeared so fragile to him, he just wanted to wrap you in his arms and spout apology after apology for what he’d caused. Seeing your eyes squint in attempt to hold back the waterworks, physically pained him.
“So yeah, I stopped wearing the necklace. But you know what?” You stepped forward confidently, despite the single tear that had just fallen down your face. “I think it hurt more wearing it than it did taking it off.” You finished with hardly any emotion in your voice, and Hawk looked mortified seeing you try to act so unaffected.
He had been silent through your whole exchange, because he knew there was nothing he could say now to make things better. He had done too much damage, and he had caused you too much pain. He did exactly what he said he’d never do.
You waited for him to say something, anything-- but as your eyes bore into his strongly, he couldn’t find the courage to speak. The disappointment was immense, and feeling hopeless once again, you pushed past him to go home.
Panicking at your leave, Hawk grabbed onto your arm. “Y/N, Wait, please-” “No!” You cut him off, looking at him coldly. His face was red, and his eyes were stinging now, too. Ignoring the feeling you got when you saw him like that, you ripped your arm from his grasp. “I’ve waited long enough.”
You turned to leave again, and this time, Hawk didn’t follow. There was only one thing Hawk could do now to get you back, and you knew he wasn’t ready for it. There was no use in you hanging around for him anymore, you deserved better. You deserved someone who cared enough that they’d do what it takes to be with you, regardless of social status.
You didn’t even care if he stayed in Cobra Kai, you just wanted him to stand up to his friends and be proud that he was with you. Didn’t he realize that he was one of the strongest Cobras, and that he could get through any of their shit? If his biggest problem was Tory, he hardly had any reason to stay quiet. You knew deep down he could do better.
Hawk hadn’t understood that then, but as he lingered on you walking away, something clicked in his head.
Maybe he really could do better. He wanted to, for you. He was still terrified at the idea of coming clean to the Cobras, but whatever he’d deal with from that couldn’t be any worse than being without you.
He liked the power he had being in Cobra Kai, and he hoped that he could keep it-- but if losing the power meant gaining you, at this point he was totally okay with that risk. But, that didn’t mean he wouldn’t at least try to negotiate with his friends first.
“Y/N!” It was a new day at school, and you were walking side by side Sam heading to your lunch table when he called your name. You shared a look with Sam, glancing towards him with a bothered look upon your face. “Come here!” Hawk shouted again, apparently not caring that the whole cafeteria had his attention.
A look of dread spread across your face, and you slammed your lunch tray on your friends’ table in defeat before stomping over to where Hawk and his asshole friends sat. Your friends watched from afar, completely clueless as to what Hawk would need you for, and Demetri struggled to pretend he was just as lost as they were.
“What.” You said bluntly, staring him and the rest of his table down. “Yeah, seriously, what are you doing calling her over here?” Mitch asked, looking at you in revulsion, and you rolled your eyes at him.
Hawk looked between you and his friends, struggling to keep his confident manner in tact, and sighed uncomfortably. “I know we don’t like the Miyagi-Dos. And we don’t like the way they run their dojo.” He stated, hoping to hook his friends in by starting negatively towards their rivals.
His friends looked at him in reluctance, wondering where he was going with this-- and you did too. “But I love Y/N.” He said loudly, letting out a breath he didn’t know he was holding in, and looking around at his friends. He was more nervous to see your reaction than theirs, so he barely looked at you once he said it.
“What?” The words came strongly from not only his friends, but you, too. He had never told you that before, and your heart melted at his declaration. When you spoke, he gathered the courage to look at you, and you’d never seen him so nervous.
“I love you.” He repeated, looking you in the eyes. You couldn’t believe what you were hearing, and on top of that he was announcing it to the whole school. You glanced over to see Demetri, mouth ajar, observing the interaction like it were a movie.
He meant it, and you could tell. He was waiting on you for a response, feeling more stress than he’d felt in a long time as he studied your bewildered expression.
Before you could say anything, Bert interrupted the moment. “You can’t love a Miyagi-Do. They’re stuck-up pansies who think they’re better than us.” He said, completely convinced that Hawk was out of his mind and needed a wake-up call.
Hawk cringed a little at the feedback, but was surprised when you decided to bite back. “I joined Miyagi-Do because I was tired of people getting bullied. You all choose violence when it isn’t needed, so I just wanted to be prepared.” You defended your intentions, fearlessly.
Tory snorted. “Oh yeah? And how’s that working out for you?” She jabbed, trying to make fun of your self defense skills. Before you could retort, Hawk slammed his hand down on the table and leaned in towards his peers.
“Listen! I’m with you guys, but she’s right. We’ve been reckless.” He said carefully, trying to keep a balance between who’s side he was on. “Sensei told us to fight smart, and we haven’t been.” He locked eyes with Tory, clearly sending her a message.
You watched as Hawk tried to reason with them, admiring his every move. Keeping up his confidence, he set down what was going to happen, and there’d be no arguments against it. “You guys can hate the Miyagi-Dos all you want, but I’m going to be with Y/N, and I’m staying in Cobra Kai.”
Interlacing his hand with yours, he looked at you pridefully before turning back to the outraged looks on his friends’ faces. “From now on, if any one of you touches her, you deal with me. That’s of course if she doesn’t kick your ass first.” He said smugly, and you smiled widely, feeling content at his speech.
Your heart was jumping out of your chest at the gesture he made, and you wanted to smash your lips onto his and tell him how much you loved him back-- but you kept yourself restrained for the sake of the situation.
Most of the Cobras nodded nervously at his announcement, not wanting to challenge Hawk when he was so sure of himself. But Tory wasn’t having it. “You guys can’t seriously be okay with this?” She snapped, death-glaring the entire table.
The group looked like they were trying to decide whether they were more afraid of Hawk, or Tory. You smiled to yourself, knowing that no matter their reaction, you had won this, because you were with him now. It would certainly be a bonus if you gained their acceptance, though.
Mitch looked around in uncertainty about what he was going to say, but stuck up for Hawk. “Come on Tory, I mean, I get it... she’s hot.” He said referring to you, and you laughed a little at the shallow but positive response.
Hawk wasn’t as pleased with it though. “Hey.” He threatened, pointing a finger at Mitch. You giggled slightly at his jealous reaction, but pulled him back from Mitch by the hand you were holding his with. Mitch raised his hands in surrender, and Tory stood from the table, getting close to the both of you.
“You’d better sleep with one eye open, assholes.” She spat, and stormed away from the table. It went better than you would’ve thought, truthfully. Everyone else was loyal to Hawk, and you didn’t really expect anything less from Tory. Again, having Tory be your only threat seemed like small potatoes now that you two were together.
You nodded at the rest of the Cobras in respect, and with that whole thing being over, you tugged him by the hand towards your table of Miyagi-Dos. Hawk groaned, realizing where you were taking him, but did his best to stay civil.
Chris glowered at the both of you, and Sam looked a little disappointed, but she tried to look supportive. “So.... yeah. Sorry.” You said sheepishly, knowing that they had already heard everything.
“I’m glad it finally worked out.” Demetri said through a sad smile. You felt a little bad, knowing that Demetri still needed to work out his relationship with Hawk, and here you were rubbing yours in his face. That would be your next mission, you suppose-- operation get Demetri and Hawk to be friends again.
“Thanks, Dem.” You said appreciatively, and Hawk looked suspiciously between the two of you. “Wait, did you tell him before?” He asked defensively. The whole table looked to you and Demetri curiously, and you crossed your arms sassily.
“Uh, did I call someone to come get me after you left me alone in a shed? Yeah.” You recovered, your facial expression sly as you knew he couldn’t come back from that one. The others looked at him exasperatedly at your response, and his face dropped instantly.
“Oh my god, Y/N I am so sorry about that.” He cowered, immediately dropping it, and you laughed at the remorse he was finally showing. You already knew he was sorry, but you guess it was nice to hear him say it.
He didn’t understand why you were laughing, though. He felt awful. And he also really needed a chance to completely apologize to you in private, now that he had already confessed his true feelings.
Suddenly, he picked you up entirely, arms holding your legs and you wrapped your arms around his neck instinctively. “Whoah, what is happening?” You laughed, looking at your friends who all looked just as puzzled as you.
Without saying anything else, he took off out of the lunch room carrying you, and made his way to the nearest exit to the outdoors. “Babe, where are we going?” You cackled, amused at the adventure he was taking you on.
Finally outside and alone, he let you down gently in front of him, and took your hands in his lightly. “I’m so sorry. For all of it. I was a complete idiot for letting you go. You knew all along that we could do it, and I was too busy being a pussy to even try. And I’m really sorry for everything that went down today, I hope you aren’t mad, I literally told you I loved you in front of everyone and that must’ve been awkward, I mean you didn’t even get to respond, which, now that I think about it maybe you didn’t want to, or--”
You silenced his rambling with a forceful kiss, grabbing the sides of his face with your hands. “I love you too, Hawk.” You said, pulling away from the kiss quickly, to give him the response he had been looking for.
He smiled big in return, and it turned your insides to mush. “You know, I realized we never got the chance to make things official.” He looked up at you cutely and you smiled back, knowing what was coming.
“So, will you be my girlfriend?” He asked charmingly, his face mere inches from yours. Blushing furiously, you nodded as you touched your forehead to his. “Mhm,” You said in agreement, grinning.
He took a moment, just admiring the look of you so happy, and with his manner still playful, he reminded you of something you had said before. “See? I came back to you.” He said proudly.
You looked at him lovingly, feeling a little emotional at the sentiment. His expression turned serious now, and he parted from you only slightly. “I’m gonna do better for you, Y/N. I promise.” He spoke lowly, and you put your hands on his shoulders, beaming at him in acknowledgement.
You stepped forwards again, getting closer to him. He gave a seductive smirk at your movement, and you subconsciously traced your fingers along his neck, fixated on his face more than anything.
Hawk stared back at you affectionately, his attention flickering down towards your lips. Feeling bold, he placed his hands dangerously low on your waist, and pulled you in roughly for another kiss. You quickly reacted, letting your hands travel to the nape of his neck, your mouth opening slightly-- allowing Hawk the opportunity to deepen the kiss.
Your lips stayed connected as Hawk’s hands made their way up your back, his chest pressing closer to yours. As much as you wanted to continue, you were in broad daylight right outside the halls of your school-- and you really didn’t want a detention for too much PDA.
“Mm, Hawk-” You giggled, breaking away from him. “Hm?” He smiled, his hands resting loosely on your waist as he pecked your lips again before letting you free. “If we don’t go back in soon we’ll miss the whole lunch period.” You said, disappointedly.
“Eh, that’s fine with me.” He shrugged, smirking at you as he clutched you closer. You scoffed playfully, hitting him lightly, and gave him one last kiss before escaping his grip.
He pouted at you, and you looked back at him mischievously. He missed your touch already, so he snaked his arm around your waist as you walked back inside to satisfy his need of holding you.
You felt on top of the world with him by your side, now having full confidence in him and his feelings for you. “It’s a good thing I still have the necklace, huh?” You teased, looking back up at him, and Hawk smiled, tilting his head to meet your gaze.
Though your comment may have only been a joke, both of you felt whole at the idea of you wearing the necklace-- and as you walked joyfully through the halls with him, you knew you’d never be taking it off again.

Misunderstandings
I HAVE FINALL MADE CONTENT FOR MY SPIDER MONKIE AU! And SURPRISE, it’s angst!
Despite his best efforts, MK knew that he was a terrifying image to humans when he dropped his glamor. He loomed over most people due to his size, lower body plated with a dark exoskeleton with long legs which were sharp enough to impale someone without much effort. MK had tried to make it look less intimidating by painting bright little doodles all over his lower body. Soft and precise strokes decorated his exoskeleton with a couple of noticeably lower quality, lines shaky and uneven as if done by a beginner. Yet they were the ones he treasured the most. Particularly the large purple and orange hourglass symbol dead center on his spider abdomen.
"Am I doing this right sweetie?" She asked, long black hair pinned back to keep it clean yet it was still stained with streaks of paint. The same can be said for her worn robe, the faded fabrics speckled with rainbow flecks of paint. Her lips were pursed in concentration as the paintbrush shook in her hands.
It was certainly an image of the feared Spider Queen that few had the luxury of seeing and living to remember it, MK being one of them.
"Yeah mom, you're doing great. Try focusing on where you want the brush to go instead, it'll help smooth out your strokes," he suggested, having to contort a slight bit to see what she was doing. She followed his advice and happily finished the symbol.
"There! Now everyone will know to fear my little spiderling the moment they lay their eyes on him," Spider Queen cooed, putting the paintbrush away to pat MK on the head, accidentally staining his dark hair with the purple and orange paint which had gotten on her hands.
MK held a brief smile at the memory before letting out a sigh.
Unfortunately, bright colors and cutesy symbols could only do so much against the large collective fear of demons, especially big ones with fangs and multiple legs. Which he was unfortunate enough to find out when fighting a demon who's whole speciality was glamor magic and could see right through him.
"That must be uncomfortable, squeezing yourself into such a small form. How about I give you a chance to stretch your legs for a while?" The demon said mockingly and before MK knew it, he was enveloped in a cloud of shimmering dust. Suddenly, everything was a lot smaller to him and MK was left to clumsily stumble as his two legs became eight without warning. He squinted as the world was now a lot brighter through his four eyes, colors even more vivid than before to the point it nearly gave him a headache.
Yet it all only registered to MK when he heard people start screaming about a giant spider demon.
“Oh no…” He whispered to himself, wincing as his vision cleared only to see civilians running away from him. And while he understood why, it still felt like a stab to his heart to see people terrified of him. The hurt quickly became panic once he hit what felt like a blockade to his magic, preventing him from re-activating his glamor.
MK was stuck like this for the time being.
“This can’t get any worse,” he hissed, freely skittering through the now empty streets now that he wasn’t at risk of accidentally stepping on someone. He was instantly proven wrong when he heard the twin sound of motors headed right him and MK had to dodge quickly to avoid getting hit by Mei’s bike head on and from Pigsy’s truck from crashing into one of his legs.
It just got worse.
"Alright demon, might be best to give up now-!" Mei froze mid-boast, face going pale underneath her helmet. She was soon joined by Pigsy, Sandy, and Tang who looked at what had her so shaken and their own confusion quickly transformed into their own individual shows of shock. Pigsy looked genuinely sick, Tang didn’t seem to be breathing with wide eyes behind his glasses, and Sandy’s entire being seemed to bristle as if to make himself look even bigger out of self-defense.
It dawned on MK once he saw they were all staring at the staff still clenched in his clawed hand.
That he was still holding while in his true form. Which wouldn’t look out of place as part of the Spider Queen’s forces, skin now covered in purple fur and eyes a dizzying bright green. And was still wearing his easily recognizable orange and purple jacket and headband now draped around his neck from the chaos.
MK now realizes that this did not paint a good picture in his favor.
“I… can explain,” he stuttered, wincing at the sound of his own voice: hoarse and deeper to his own ears.
He had no way of explaining this.
“What did you do to my boy?” Pigsy was the first to break the silence, eerily calm yet everyone could tell that his rake was close to snapping with how tight his grip was. Following behind him, everyone else’s shock and horror morphed into rage and MK felt his stomach tighten further and further in fear. Tang’s eyes were hidden behind the glare of his glasses with a stillness to him that made you fear he would strike at any moment before you could react. Sandy’s entire demeanor had changed in a way that made MK understand Pigsy’s past descriptions as him being a feared warrior.
And Mei?
Well Mei’s entire being was wreathed in green and vibrating with barely restrained wrath.
MK stumbled back on his eight legs, feeling incredibly small in the face of his family’s anger despite towering over them.
They didn’t know it was him. As far as they knew, he was just another demon.
He didn’t know if this was better or worse for him.
“We will not repeat ourselves, demon: What did you do to our kid?” Tang demanded with a glare as sharp as knives. MK soon found himself surrounded, breath turning shorter and shorter as his family came closer and looked ready to tear him apart if it meant getting the answers they wanted. Yet he could only see the image of the calabash copies of his family and mentor pouncing at him to prevent him from escaping, countless nightmares of them successfully trapping them in his “perfect” world weighing on his spine.
So it was only natural that he panicked when they all descended upon him as he remained silent, throat closed up in sheer anxiety. It had happened so fast but before MK knew it, he had bound them all in web cocoons without even meaning to.
Yet he took the opportunity while they were struggling to free themselves to go for the most logical course of action according to his panic-ridden brain: run away, far and fast. He didn’t even know where he was going, all MK knew was that he had to make himself scarce around the city until he could finally use his glamor again. If he wasn't sick from panic, he could almost laugh at the image of himself struggling to balance all eight of his spider legs on the staff as he pogoed through the city.
So it shouldn’t really have surprised to find himself on the beach of Flowering Fruit Mountain, the monkeys scattering away in fear at the sight of him as he created a small crater in the sand.
The following silence was deafening, allowing his thoughts to continue to run wild without anything to focus on. He only faintly realized that tears were running down his face as the mountain breeze gently blew against him, as if trying to offer its own form of comfort as he spiraled.
MK couldn't stop seeing the faces of his loved ones, his family, as they looked at him with such hatred and rage. He tried to keep reminding himself that it was only because they didn't know it was him, as far as they knew he was a random powerful demon who managed to get their hands on the staff. But tell that to his heart, which felt like it was genuinely breaking into pieces. The pain was enough to put MK to his knees, choking on his tears and grip on the staff tight enough to make the joints of his exoskeleton-plated hands ache.
"Kid? You here kid?" MK didn't even think, he found himself scrambling towards the familiar voice of the Monkey King, desperate for comfort. Sun Wukong grunted as he found his arms now full of a panicked spider demon but was able to adjust his footing before he could lose his balance. He let out a sigh of relief, no longer struggling to hold since he had lifted far heavier people in his long life. Questions died on his tongue as the sound of muffled sobs entered his ears, his successor’s face buried in his fur as if wanting nothing more than to hide from the world.
“What happened bud? You wanna talk about it?” MK was silent for a moment before he gave a garbled response in the Monkey King’s fur. “Sorry, what was that?”
“A demon messed with my glamor, leaving me stuck like this and they saw me. They didn’t know it was me and they saw the staff and they thought… they hated me,” he rambled, a fresh round of tears leaving his four eyes. Wukong remained silent but silently walked towards his home, MK still in his arms.
“Oh kid, I’m so sorry. You know that they wouldn’t be that way if they knew that it’s you. But that definitely explains why Pigsy called me, threatening to eviscerate me the moment he saw me if anything had happened to you,” Wukong gave a smile at the wheezy chuckle MK let out at the image of his boss and father figure calling the Monkey King just to rip into him. Yeah, that sounded like Pigsy alright. “I think I can fix up whatever that demon did to your glamor. Then you can hang out here for a while, if you want, before going back home. That sound good bud?”
“Yeah… sounds great Monkey King,” MK answered before letting out a yawn, now left exhausted now that the anxiety and panic has leaked from his system with the presence of his other father figure mentor there to comfort him. Wukong gave a chuckle, gently placing MK down on his couch and putting on Monkey King: The Animated Series without a second thought. Seemingly realizing that he was no danger to them or their king, the monkeys quickly began to use MK as their personal jungle gym without any fear. That seemed to do the trick, as he was now chuckling at the sight of the little monkey’s looking at the doodles on his exoskeleton with curiosity.
Wukong watched the scene before him with a warm look in his eyes before it quickly hardened as he slipped out of his home for a moment. Pulling out his phone, he gave a deep sigh to calm himself before tapping to call a very specific number.
“Sun Wukong, to what do I owe the pleasure?” A velvety voice answered upon the third ring.
“A demon severely messed up the kid and I figured you’d like to… return the favor,” he answered, voice dead serious.
The line went silent, the echoes of enraged hissing barely audible in the background.
“What did they do to my baby?” Any hint of playfulness was gone in the voice, the Spider Queen enraged to know that someone had harmed her son in such a way to make the Monkey King willing to contact her.
“Messed with his glamor and the others saw him, nearly attacked him thinking he was a demon that had managed to get the staff. He’s fine physically but he’s an emotional mess. All the kid was able to tell me was that they specialize in glamor magic. Think you can work off that?”
“Of course I can, what do you take me for?! But… is he alright?” Wukong smiled, almost quipping about her getting soft over the years but she could very easily call him a hypocrite.
“I have him with me and have everything under control. Just do what you do best S.Q. and I’ll keep in touch, ‘kay?” Everything about him was casual yet the look in the Monkey King’s eyes was nothing but fire that promised he would have burned whoever harmed his kid without mercy, if he wasn’t “retired”.
“Of course, might as well make use of your “retirement” after all. I’ll make sure to make our… displeasure to that foolish demon evident for the both of us. Take care of my spiderling Wukong, otherwise I will figure out a way to make you mortal to end you.” Despite her tone, Spider Queen was only half serious since she knew ending the Monkey King would make MK upset with her. And the last thing she wanted to do was lose her spiderling after searching for him for so long.
“Sure you will S.Q., I totally believe that. But until later, see ya!” Wukong said before hanging up, satisfied but antsy which was typical after every occasion he spoke with the Spider Queen. Walking back inside, he couldn’t help but smile at the sight of MK now fast asleep with the monkey’s cuddled around him.
Totally worth it.

Tummy Rubs for Raihan
The croptop idea I got from @squidbiscuit thanks to some really cute drawings she did of Raihan.  And all the nauseous burpy content from yesterday finally gave me the inspiration I needed to write a fic for the boi!  <3
"How are you-urf-holding up?” Leon asked his partner after huffing mid-talk.  Leon’s stomach was still bugging him after lunch but he was managing because he hadn’t eaten nearly as much as Raihan did.
Raihan was leaning against the counter and feeling really bloated and miserable after eating so much.  This was extenuated by Raihan’s new experimental croptop hoodie which revealed his dark skinned stomach in its visibly rounded form.  It burbled loudly which made Raihan burp deeply.  Then his hand dropped to his belly and he burped again even louder.
“Excuse you,” Leon joked lamely.
BrrraaAAAAAAAAUUURRRRRAAAAAP!!!!
Leon’s grin vanished with that huge burp Raihan unleashed that left him huffing and patting his belly to try and calm it down.  “All that curry really did a number on you, didn’t it?”
Raihan puffed out his cheeks and blew off to the side while his hand delicately stroked the rounded surface of his smooth bloated stomach.  “Feels like there’s lava in my gut right now...”  He hiccuped loudly and rested his hand against his chest, blowing off to the side again in a sickly manner.
“Lemme help with that,” Leon insisted.  He leaned against the counter Raihan was against and placed his hands on Raihan’s bare and bloated belly.  It churned under his fingers and loudly gurgled away which made Raihan cringe miserably.  Leon proceeded to help by massaging Raihan’s bloated tummy to help ease the pain away.
Raihan huffed and leaned back some more against the counter which made his belly stick out a little more.  Leon laughed.  It was like when that old Arcanine he helped train would beg for tummy rubs.
His fingers kneaded into Raihan’s tight and warm flesh, really digging into his sides as his palms ran circles against the center of Raihan’s belly.  Leon applied a little pressure to Raihan’s stomach while he rubbed it, pushing his palm down a little and kneading firmly with his fingers.  This helped to ease some of the knots forming in Raihan’s tummy but also to help knead some pressure out which Raihan released in the form of a large burp.
The bloated dragon trainer groaned at that one and spat off to the side.  “Ungh, tasted some curry with that one...”
“Long as it doesn’t come up, that’s fine,” Leon groaned, turning his head to burp into his fist.  His own stomach was still nagging at him but it was really mild.  He could handle it better than Raihan could, especially since the latter ate so much curry in a single sitting.
When it came to certain restaurants, Raihan got as greedy as Piers would.
So Leon continued rubbing Raihan’s belly which made the nauseous young man moan, both from the relaxing and sensual feeling of Leon’s hands against his belly and from his tummy feeling like it was unwinding which provided him some much needed relief.
While rubbing, Leon kneaded some more and caused a hefty burp to erupt from out of Raihan’s mouth.  He pressed more firmly into that bubbling tummy and an even bigger belch rolled past Raihan’s fangs.
BRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!!!
HOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRPP!!!!!
Raihan huffed and almost whimpered when that one rang out of him but Leon just gingerly stroked the smooth surface of his rounding tummy and gently shushed him.  “I know, I know.  But trust me, after a bout I just had at my last public battle?  Better to get it out this way than start puking the way I did...”
Leon’s face soured at that very recent memory.  Felt like it almost literally just happened.
Still, Raihan’s belly was bubbling up a storm from all that curry.  It made him feel so unbearably heavy in his stomach that every burp felt like a weight was just lifted from off of his belly.
Raihan kept burping from Leon’s rubs.  It was making his stomach hurt a lot less and making it feel less like there was bubbling molten lava in his tummy.  With each burp he felt less like he was on the verge of puking.  The nausea only came when the burps gave way to hiccups which caused his belly to jostle in a way that made the digesting curry slosh around in his stomach.  And that motion did nothing to quell the sick he was feeling.
It was a good thing that Leon knew when to change his tactics to help settle Raihan’s tummy.  He explored more of that rounded belly, pulling Raihan’s sweatpants down slightly to caress the underbelly some more.  His hands kneaded into Raihan’s sides and eventually, his right palm just rubbed circles against the middle of that bloated turbulent middle.  He wasn’t applying pressure or even using his fingers beyond letting the tips trace against the surface.  Leon just rubbed small circles in the middle of Raihan’s belly on loop.  Whenever Raihan hiccuped, Leon could feel Raihan’s tummy jiggle just ever so slightly but kept it up until the hiccups stopped.  And when they did it eventually seemed as if Raihan’s nausea had all but left him.
With his job more or less done, Leon kept kneading and massaging anyway.  He was always really touchy feely with Raihan even when they weren’t full and nauseous and he enjoyed how relaxed Raihan seemed to be and wanted to keep making him feel good.  His hand ran tummy-relaxing circles all across that soft and gurgling surface.  Raihan’s breathing slowed down as he took in deep relaxing breathes.  It was a lot easier for him to breathe in with his tummy being tended to by Leon and after enough pressure was eased out of him.
“Haaaaah...that feels so nice,” Raihan almost purred.  “Thanks, mate...”
Leon just smiled and leaned in to kiss Raihan’s cheek.
Unfortunately for him, when Leon leaned in, he applied a lot of extra pressure against Raihan’s belly.  And as soon as his lips planted against Raihan’s cheeks, a huge pressure pocket rushed up Raihan’s throat and expelled itself as a giant burp; the biggest Raihan had yet let out yet!
BRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUURRRRRRPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!
Leon’s eyes bugged out.  That massive belch was so loud that his ear actually hurt!
Raihan gasped heartily and sighed with such relief his tongue stuck out.
“Haaaaaaaah....!  Ohhh my god that’s so much better...!”  Raihan gasped and patted his belly with relief.  “You’re a lifesaver, mate!”
Leon just glared at Raihan and rang out his ear.
“...’Happy’ to help...”

Soulmarks, Part 5
First part
Previous
~~~
The air left her lungs. Her suit was the only thing keeping her in one piece as he rolled over her.
Part of her just wanted to lay there and let him run her over again as she watched him come to a stop and start pushing his way back towards her, her entire body ached and screamed with every little movement, but she couldn’t let Chat’s sacrifice be in vain.
She pushed herself to her feet and watched Tim pick up speed. While he definitely had brute force on his side, his ability to make quick turns and stops was extremely limited.
Marinette jumped out of the way right before he could hit her again and he rolled right past, slamming into the white soldiers and toppling a huge group like bowling pins. He didn’t seem all that concerned with the bumps as he slowed to a stop and then started back in her direction again.
Hm…
She ducked through the crowds and grinned widely as Tim followed after her with no real regard for all the soldiers he was mowing down. They didn’t have magic suits to hold them together, so it affected them far more than her.
“HEY!” Yelled Bona-parts, who had finally noticed the commotion.
She sent him a cheeky wave and started in his direction.
The man was too smart to get bowled over, quickly dodging her/Tim’s attack, but she didn’t care about that as she knelt down and scooped Adrien up. She sent a wink as she ducked out the park and began running down the streets, Tim on her tail and rapidly gaining speed.
She slipped down an alley a while away that was too small for Tim to fit through. She set Adrien down.
Her soulmate groaned in irritation and punched the forcefield. Bright green light threatened to blind her and when she looked back Tim had been thrown back so hard he’d rolled a few meters.
He looked down at his hand and she could practically see the gears turning in his head. There was a short moment where he didn’t seem to know what to do. Then he shook out his hand and got to his feet.
He stepped back for a running start and then crashed into the alley.
Marinette was horrified to find that the building crumbled a little with the force.
He backed up and started again.
She listened to the dull thumping of the force-field crashing against the corners of the buildings repeatedly. The buildings would eventually cave, but that was a problem for a few minutes from now.
She wanted to lay down, but she knew that if she would she wouldn’t be able to get up. Instead, she settled for leaning heavily against a wall and resting her head back.
After a few minutes she finally managed to steady her breathing enough to speak: “You’re fucking stupid, you know that?”
“I think my plan worked,” he muttered, his face a bit pale as he pulled his broken leg to his chest. “Just… not how I intended.”
She shook her head slightly. “That’s literally the definition of a plan not working… but okay, sure.”
He sent her a slight glare and probably would have kicked her if either of their bodies could take it.
“Plagg, claws out,” he murmured, and there was a crunching sound as the suit forced his leg back into its normal shape. He pushed himself to his good foot and then slowly started applying pressure onto his bad one to get it used to holding his weight. “Well, we have…” He looked at the steadily crumbling wall as Tim ran into it again. “Around five minutes to plan before your soulmate makes this place cave in on top of us.”
She nodded and pulled out her yoyo. She messed with it anxiously as they thought.
She couldn’t come up with anything. Did it matter if she could, though? All the plans that she had employed that night had backfired spectacularly.
Ah, she could hear footsteps in the distance. They must have finished up Alya and Nino’s execution.
“They’re going to find us,” said Adrien.
She looked at Tim and cringed. He was right, unfortunately. A ball of pure light was hard to miss, and the sun was beginning to set. She may as well have had a neon sign over her head saying ‘Ladybug! Over here! Come get her!’
Her eyes found Adrien’s and she sent him a weak grin.
“Actually… they’re going to find me.”
~
She tore through the streets, Tim rolling after her.
She had considered trying to lose him through back streets and alleys, but decided against it. Even if it was a pain to dodge his attacks every few seconds, he was useful for taking down the soldiers.
She grinned as she turned a corner and saw the first group of soldiers. She glanced back and saw Tim slowing and then restarting in her direction.
She stood still, watching both of them coming at her.
She vaulted over the force field and grinned as Tim bowled over the guards. He turned around and rolled over them again as he started back in her direction.
Good, they wouldn’t be getting up any time soon.
She tried not to think about the fact that these were once people. After all, they were mindless zombies right now. She was putting them out of their misery.
Or, at least, she hoped.
But, since she could think of no other solutions, she continued using Tim to mow them down in droves.
As time went on, and the sky got darker, more and more soldiers started appearing, drawn by the light.
She could tell her soulmate was getting more and more frustrated as she dodged his attacks, but it wasn’t as if he could really change his strategy. There wasn’t much else he could do. He just had to hope she eventually tired herself out enough for him to land a hit.
And she was getting tired. And she could feel her injuries worsening the more strain she put on them. Her ladybug suit helped, but it could only do so much.
She was running out of time...
God, where was Bona-parts when you actually want to see him?
Oh. There he was. She reconsidered wanting to see him as her eyes found his blood-covered axe.
At least she knew where the akuma was.
She smiled and sent a wave to Bona-parts and then rolled to the side as Tim came past her.
The akuma dodged as well and stopped for a second to concentrate. She paused and looked around, waiting for the rumbling that accompanied the soldiers’ arrival…
But there was none.
“Where are they?”
She shrugged, trying not to let her relief show. “Would you like me to show you? I need to run from that guy anyways.”
“You do, do you?” He said thoughtfully.
“Try and use it against me if you want. Don’t think you have a way of pinning me down that won’t get you hurt, too, and my buddy here isn’t all that concerned with extra casualties.”
She saw Bona-parts take in the way that the green glow of the force field was somewhat muted and grimy. As if it were covered in a thin layer of paint.
“You killed them?”
She dodged another attack from Tim and shrugged. “I don’t think you’re one to talk.”
Bona-parts opened their mouth to respond and then whipped around, axe swinging. They missed Chat’s nose by centimeters.
Marinette cursed. There went that idea.
She pulled out her yoyo.
She glanced back at Tim and sighed. He was barreling towards them again. Fun.
Something clicked in her mind and she grinned as she gave Bona-parts a quick kick to the side. He scowled and turned his axe on her, swinging it --.
She jumped over his attack and he hit Tim’s forcefield. A beam of bright light forced her to look away momentarily.
She peeked her eyes open hesitantly.
Her soulmate had rolled an entire city block and was now lying unconscious in his bubble (or, at least, she hoped he was just unconscious, the kid had gone through enough).
Then her eyes found their way to Bona-parts. He was struggling to pull his axe out of where it had gotten stuck in a nearby building.
Chat grinned and pressed a finger to it. “Cataclysm.”
Marinette breathed a sigh of relief as she captured the akuma. Now all that was left was --.
Fuck. The lucky charm. She didn’t use her lucky charm at all during the battle…
Well, apparently it was a good thing that she’d summoned those handcuffs earlier after all.
She pulled them from her belt and smiled. “Miraculous Ladybug.”
Ladybugs swirled around everyone and she felt her bones mending under her suit. Cool, now she could actually take it off later without turning into mush.
She walked over to Tim and her eyes widened as he came into view. The ladybugs had helped him, too. His skin had been returned to a healthy shade and his hair was a glossy black.
Sure, it wouldn’t erase the memories of what had happened, but at least he wouldn’t have a constant reminder every time he looked in the mirror.
He curled up inside the bubble and rested his head inside his hands.
She looked away from her soulmate. She didn’t know if he was crying or just confused about why his likely concussion had disappeared, but it felt wrong to watch and find out.
Chat walked over and leaned against his baton as he smiled at her. “Well, Bona-parts is dealt with. Apparently, she worked at Amazon.”
Marinette nodded. “That explains it.”
He shrugged. “Yeah.”
She watched Tim slowly start to stir and winced. She really did not want to do any more fighting right now…
“Think you can do a portal to the bottom of a staircase?”
“Yeah. Why were you in an abandoned building, anyways?”
“Long story. Wanna meet some American superher --? Oh, wait, no, vigilantes. They call themselves vigilantes over there.”
He grinned. “Are they too good to be heroes?”
“Too bad, apparently. Even though they don’t have the balls to kill anyone.”
“Losers.”
“Absolutely. Wanna meet them?”
“I’d love to.”
Kaalki opened a portal underneath the three of them and they found themselves back in Arkham.
A/N: i had to do it though, had this idea in my head and there it is, enjoy
*10043567901;1102033149001. PLANET DYVLONY*
-You can load you gun as much as you like, Detective, - Yangyang smirked, his teeth poking out, lips licking them in anticipation, - but no silver bullets can kill me…
-We just want to talk, - Xiao Dejun spoke calmly not to anger the predator.
-Talk, I see, - Yangyang turned around, - you come into my house, my garden, uninvited, disturb me at this hour, full S.W.A.T gear? Came for a chat? Ha, - he laughed, the sarcasm clear in his tone.
With a swoosh, Yangyang moved across, disarming the weapons from their hands, standing back where he did before, silver bullets flying up in the air and then landing on the ground.
-With what do I ow the pleasure, – he smiled, teeth on full display, - gentleman?
* 48 hours before *
-She attacked me in my own home?! She is not human or alien, she is a monster, - Mr. Gibbs talked, while court magistrate Dejun listened.
-What happened after?
-When she beat me up, I saw her run through the door and that was it, called you straight away!
-Thank you for your time, we will find her ASAP, - Xiaojun spoke.
After Mr. Gibbs had left the building, Dejun dialed Ten’s number.
-We got a problem, - were his first words when the call connected.
-Is everything alright?
-Can you come to High court quarters? I will get someone to greet you when you come.
-I am on my way, - detective Ten spoke.
Minutes later, Ten was going down in the elevator, meeting Xiao Dejun by the door. Walking in silent room, where no one would disturb, they sat down. Xiaojun pulled out a file. Throwing pictures on the table, he sighed.
-She did this, - he said, - number two beat the crap out of Mr. Gibbs and ran. Look at the pictures Ten, tell me what do you think?
Ten was eyeing them carefully not to miss anything. He let out an approval breath.
-There is something not right, - detective said, - when we did the tests on girls none of them were aggressive, there is something more, also, I didn’t hear that she would have tried to escape when Gibbs collected her.
-Exactly, - Dejun spoke, - I think he might have done something to trigger her, that’s why she did this.
Ten nodded. None of the humans were aggressive, no disturbing behavior was seen, nor any they had heard of. Anna was perfect in every way, and Ten’s wife was pulling his strings on purpose, but not like this.
-I will get my team on it straight away, - Ten spoke. Xiao nodded.
-We cannot, - he sighed, - since about humans no one really knows, we cannot have more exposure to what is already out there. I must say, you should do this on your own, mind that, I will help you.
-Ok, we start with surveillance footage by Gibbs’ house, and see where we go from there.
-Yes, let’s do that.
Both of them were soon in a car, driving towards Gibbs’ house, uneasy feeling in Ten’s gut. He was sure Gibbs hurt the girl, and if he was right, surveillance will be useless, either way deleted or, he will hear another of – it must have broken down, I didn’t know - this bullshit.
-How come you are here? – Mr. Gibbs asked.
-We are here to check if we could see your surveillance recordings, I am Detective Ten by the way.
-I know who you are, - he stepped aside, - be my guest.
Leading them through corridor, soon they had reached the camera surveillance room. As a scientist, Mr. Gibbs had the newest technology, including cameras, speaker phones, all sorts of gears, that no one yet would be able to purchase.
Showing the first video, where you ran, into his back garden and then through the bushes, Ten was ready to push some buttons. He turned to face Gibbs.
-And the other footage?
-What are you referring to? – Gibbs asked.
-Where she beats you up?
Mr. Gibbs pulled another video, where it was clear, that you went fully ballistic on him. Kicking him in the balls first, then stomach, then his back with your elbow, until he was on the ground and you kept on kicking.
-And before this?
-What? – Mr. Gibbs felt offended. – what are you after detective?
-Just doing my work, - Ten said back, - if you are liable to information that could help us, it is your job as our citizen to provide us with it. If you fail to do so, we can ask the judge at the high court to write a legal document for it, or, if you won’t cooperate, ask for a lawyer, we can ask for a search warrant.
Ten was right, truth to be told, if Gibbs had nothing to hide, why just not show them. End of story. Gibbs bit his cheek. He knew Ten could be very pushing towards his goal, so he obliged. Playing another video, your body was attached to some system, and clearly Mr. Gibbs was experimenting on you.
-Sir, - Xiaojun spoke, - have you been experimenting on a human being, that you were supposed to keep safe and teach our ways?
Gibbs grit his teeth. He hated this.
-You have no proof!? – he nearly shouted.
-This is enough proof to be showed in a court, - Ten said. – if you tell us now, we might ask for a gentler punishment for you.
Gibbs stayed quiet. An hour later all of his camera footage, since the day you were brought to his home, was taken by police task forces, Xiaojun and Ten collecting evidence of experimenting, as well as trying to get more info as to where you might have gone.
24h later, Detective Ten and a search party had looked at any possible place you could have gone. Unfortunately, it was pointless, nothing had been found. You had showed up in a couple of DYVLONY citizen cameras which are mainly located on the corners of small shops and businesses, but after that it’s like you vanished.
Ten had proposed the GYPE beach to be searched, but lack of money and resources, stopped that idea from happening. He was biting his knuckles now, 24 hours had passed, and still nothing? Ten felt responsible, since he was the one who helped to give all then girls home to live in.
-It’s my fault, - Ten said, - if I would have known!
-Listen, no, don’t do that, he is a public figure, we didn’t know, - Dejun tapped Ten’s shoulder. – but we can find her, or try, like we are doing right now.
-I know, - he sighed, it had been a long day. All Ten wanted to do was go home to his wife and sink between her soft thighs.
-Go home, Ten, we’ll continue tomorrow.
They said their goodbyes and went separate ways. Ten had a feeling that when the morning comes, they will not be able to find the girl, and they will have to let her go.
*Morning after, 36 hours into the search*
-We have lost her, - an officer spoke.
Ten grabbed his hair in frustration. Xiaojun was banging his head against the search board. He sighed.
-We do have one option, - he said in a low voice. Ten looked up.
-What do you mean? – Ten asked.
-You know, - Xiaojun whispered.
-No, - Ten said, - I… I don’t think it’s a good idea.
-I know, but what choice do we have, he might be the only chance we got!
Deep down Ten knew, that Xiao was right, but that was a step he was not ready to take.
*48 hours search/// Lost case, file missing*
-I wish this was a road trip, - Ten spoke. Xiao was driving.
-I know, - he said, - if we would be able to get him to find her for us, that would be perfect. But I have heard many things, and I don’t think that’s how it will go.
-You are right, - once stopped, they both stepped out of the vehicle, Ten putting on a police vest, arming himself with guns that contained silver bullets and were made from silver too. Xiao made sure his silver bracelets are visible as well as a gun, that was secured around his hips.
-Ok, let’s do this, - Dejun took number 2 portfolio with him, to be presented, if needed.
Knocking on the door later on, no one answered. Ten proposed they would go around his house, search for him there. Since it was outskirts of town, there was no one around, but the beautiful nature that surrounded the place.
Taking a turn to go deeper into the back garden, Ten followed Xiao. There he was. Standing by a violet chrysanthemum, hands behind his back, head focused on the flowers, but eyes closed, listening.
-Excuse me, sir, - Ten started, - no one opened the door, so we came to look for you.
The person didn’t turn around, just chuckled.
-Sir, we were wondering… if you would… - Xiao didn’t finish the sentence, when the person turned around. His eyes were red, lips paler than normally, his fangs showing.
-Ah, you were wondering… - he laughed in their faces.
Ten loaded his gun, pointing it directly at the predator. Liu Yangyang, an immortal being, that has the ability to be reborn again, was the ultimate killer if he wanted to be. The best huntsman there was. His thirst is the only thing that keeps him out here, if he would make it to town, all of them would be dead.
-You can load you gun as much as you like, Detective, - Yangyang smirked, his teeth poking out, lips licking them in anticipation, - but no silver bullets can kill me…
-We just want to talk, - Xiao Dejun spoke calmly not to anger the predator.
-Talk, I see, - Yangyang turned around, - you come into my house, my garden, uninvited, disturb me at this hour, full S.W.A.T gear? Came for a chat? Ha, - he laughed, the sarcasm clear in his tone.
With a swoosh, Yangyang moved across, disarming the weapons from their hands, standing back where he did before, silver bullets flying up in the air and then landing on the ground.
-With what do I ow the pleasure, – he smiled, teeth on full display, - gentleman?
-We have a missing persons case, - Ten said, - we cannot find her and… - he didn’t finish, Yangyang looked hooked.
-It’s “her”? – he asked.
Ten looked confused.
-What is the matter? What does that do with anything…? – Ten arched a brow. Xiao felt saliva in his throat being stuck, he had a feeling this would not go well.
Ten was pressed against a column in Yangyang’s garden, by the neck within seconds.
-Why do you look for “her”? – Yangyang licked his fangs.
-I can show you why, - Xiao came closer, - she beat up one of our community members.
Liar.
-No, no, - Yangyang whispered. – you search for her because she is not guilty.
He let go of Ten, who fell to the ground coughing. The file that was in Xiao’s hands was snatched away, Yangyang’s eyes widening in seeing photos.
-So, will you help us? – Ten asked, Yangyang tsked.
-I will, - he said, Xiaojun and Ten looked at each other almost saying “this was easier than we thought”, until, - but when I find her, SHE IS MINE.
-What? No, we cannot, - Xiao was speechless, Yangyang had him by his neck.
-No, no, you listen, - Yangyang spoke, - you came for help, I am helping, and in return, you are willing to give me this “human” to feast on, I do not think it is that bad. You have your missing persons case closed, and I will have a plaything.
Yangyang bit his lip, closing his eyes, when some blood dripped down his lips, licking it up, his face lit up.
-I can almost taste her.
If it wasn’t for Xiao carrying a blood sample, they would think Yangyang is mental. Xiao took out the small ampoule with your blood and handed it over to the predator.
-You’ve done your research, - Yangyang said, - I am impressed. So what’s it gonna be? You both dying here or me having the girl, you choose.
Ten looked at Xiao once again. Understanding that there is nothing else nor a better option, nor they were willing to die, they both nodded.
-Excellent, - Yangyang smiled, walking away back to his starting point by the flowers.
When he heard them both leave, Yangyang went inside his home, sat down on his bed. The blood sample ampule was burning his palm. He again licked his lips, took of his long robe and shirt, made himself more comfortable on the bed. Opening the sample carefully he opened his mouth to stuck out his tongue. A simple drop of blood touched his tastebuds.
Yangyang breathed in and out slowly. Ampoule was closed and put aside and Yangyang felt a hot fire burn him throughout his body cells. A taste he tried first time, and a taste he would never forget. Yours.
His member twitched in his trousers, Yangyangs fangs dropped down even further, it would only happen if he was to attack someone, or during a high pleasure moment, such as this. His hand reached inside his pants, stroking his cock with eyes closed, he was already picturing you in front of him. Building up his own orgasm, since he was now in a hurry to find you, Yangyang used his super speed, jacking himself off, shots of cum was now painted on his stomach and hand, dripping down his thighs. Fuck.
“I don’t have time for this”, he thought to himself and went to have a quick shower and dress up.
Not knowing how to dress yet, Yangyang put on a simple clothing to blend in with the DYVLONY, the only thing hard to mask was his fangs. He used makeup to cover his face, he redness around his eyes and his lips that would change to different tones depending on the situation.
The more blood he craved the redder his lips became.
He was using transport. How odd for him. His own car felt strange, since he would rarely leave his house, all he needed was there. Driving to town was simple, fast, he sped through the traffic, leaving his car near the High court. The senses overwhelmed him when he stepped out of the vehicle.
He smelled her. You. It seemed like you had just gone past a couple of minutes ago. Yangyangs ability to track and trace someone was based on their belongings and blood, then he would picture where the person had gone.
Fast as a lightening, he was inside the court and out, nobody noticing that he even was there. He went to a house, smelling you on the way. Sneaking inside the house he was searching, then he heard a noise.
-Who the fuck are you?! – someone shouted, and he turned around. A girl greeted him with a pan in her hands. – answer me or I’ll use this!
Yangyang started to laugh. He pushed the girl against the closest door frame, his nose bumping against her neck, breathing in the scent. His fangs scraped the skin.
-Don’t hurt me, - she whispered, Yangyang looked at her, - I am pregnant.
Yangyang stepped back, feeling a barrel of a gun pressed against his skull.
-What are you doing here? – Ten asked, Yangyang turned around.
-Hello there, Detective, - Yangyang started, - the blood sample you gave me, led me to her.
-They are the same species, - Ten said back, - of course there is something similar, but she is not her. This is my wife, - Ten pointed at his S/O, - we would appreciate if you would leave now.
Yangyang nodded and with that he was gone.
Street after a street, and Yangyang felt your essence again. This time it was clear that it was you. A dying neighborhood. You might have tried to hide here, and then he felt a familiar sweet scent. DYVLONY perfume, and he knows only one person who has worn the same one for many, many years.
So, he knew, he had to do what he does best in a situation like this. Kill everyone.
He dressed up as a student, round glasses on his eyes, hair brushed back, even a couple of books in his hands to make it more believable. He felt it being harder to conceal his red eyes, he knew it meant that he would soon hibernate. A couple of streets away, he walked through a massive warehouse, it was empty, he walked further inside, till he reached a room by the far exit of the building. “EXIT” was burning bright red, so they were opened.
Yangyang opened the door and stepped through. Walking down the stairs, he heard voices, he was getting closer to his main goal.
The most popular brothel on DYVLONY was here. Hidden under the massive warehouse, it was filled with people having fun in each other’s company, having a laugh, a drink, and some fun on the way.
Yangyang reached the receptionist.
-No under eighteens’ here, - she announced, Yangyang pushed up his glasses from the bridge of his nose.
-I am eighteen, - he said, - just turned! I got ID if you want.
He really played well this character. Cute boy, no one would ever notice.
-Very well then, how can I help you? – the receptionist asked.
-I want to have some fun, - Yangyang said. – but I would like something different, something fresh, you know like… something extraordinary… I can pay for it…
He smiled without his teeth. His fangs were *this close* to poking out and snapping her neck, if she wouldn’t give him what he desired. He presented a card together with his ID.
-I don’t know what you are after, - the receptionist said, a knock on the door behind her made Yangyang squint his eyes. Another girl walked through.
-The evening auction is about to start, we don’t take no new customers at this time, - she announced.
-It’s a pity, but you won’t have a choice, - Yangyang sped around the table, knocking both ladies out, walking through the door. To everybody else he just looked like a schoolboy who probably came to lose his virginity, but to Yangyang everyone else was just a bag of bones, and he would have great fun soon.
A lady spoke.
-We have a special offer, - she smiled, there behind her back on a post, were seven women, and Yangyang recognized you immediately. – but only for the owner of the biggest dick.
It looked like everyone was near to fishing out their cocks, and Yangyang sighed. Then the DYVLONY lady walked towards you, it was clear to Yangyang that you were on some kind of sedative, your pupils were too dilated to be on normal sex drugs, not unless they still been using the ones who have been forbidden since dark ages.
-This is the tightest pussy we can offer, but only for the one and only, - Yangyang licked his lips.
-How do we know? – Yangyang shouted from the far back. – how do we know she is the tightest?
A man next to him snorted “how would you know what that means, boy”, and Yangyang held it in.
-Do you have the biggest dick to test that? – DYVLONY lady nearly laughed in his face. Your relaxed form on the stage opened your legs wider, your pussy on display, for everyone to see. Man whistled and some groaned seeing your parted legs and the treasure between them.
-No, - Yangyang said, - but I have the biggest fangs out of you all.
Before anyone could react, Yangyang ran down every isle, snapping necks of all the horny motherfuckers who eyed your cunt. The ladies shrieked, running away as fast as they could. Yangyang was on the stage, taking your almost limp, naked body in his arms. From afar a knocking sound seemed to be getting closer.
Another door from the side opened and a lady with a walking stick walked out.
-Liu Yangyang, - she shouted. – You have no right to be here and do this!
The DYVLONY lady was in her 80s, walking stick helping her up, her face angry. Two bodyguards were with her, both looking ready to fight.
-You don’t have a right to steal people from the streets and sell into prostitution either, but here we are, - he said matter-of-factly.
-You are banned from this house, - she said, - many, many centuries ago you were, and now again you strike to displease me, if it wasn’t for my fourth-generation ancestor carrying a baby, I might not have been here, because you killed them all! Your bloodlust and addiction got the worst of you, and you killed innocent men and women, Liu Yangyang, you have no right to judge or touch any of us!
-I am not sorry, nor have I ever been, but this here, - he looked down on you, - is mine. If you wish call the police and ask, add killing these bastards and I will sit in the prison, until I am reborn again, and do this again if I have to.
He carried you towards the exit, not looking back at the anger filled brothel owner. She was fuming. Once out and away from the brothel, Yangyang stripped of his student shirt and put it around you, to cover at least your naked butt. All of the sudden your hand touched his cheek.
-Fuck me, - you lazily spoke, drool forming on the corners of your mouth, it was the drugs talking, and you slapped his face, taking Yangyang by surprise, - fuck the living shit out of me, my pussy hurts daddy, do it all to me…
Your voice broke into a moan like breaths, moaning heavy against his face. You leaned closer to him, your tongue out first to taste his lips.
-I am your cum slut, use me as you want, - you groaned again.
-Nope, not yet, - Yangyang said walking towards his car. – once you are out of that shit, we’ll have a talk.
Bed creaked under your movements, as Yangyang tried to press your body back down on the bed. You were fisting the bed sheets, moaning, sweat forming on your forehead, nipples pressed through the clothing Yangyang provided you with.
Once in a while, he cleaned your forehead with a damp towel, the fever was going down, the drugs slowly, and I mean slowly leaving your system. Yangyang’s trousers tight as ever, watching you be in despair of your feelings, then he noticed your wet crotch. Your juices flowing in copious amounts, wetting the trousers on the way.
He then tied up your hands to the bed post, and removed the damp garment, lifting your ass up and putting a towel underneath.
-As much as I love a sight like this, - Yangyang sighed, looking at your entrance, - I am not an idiot nor a…- and then it hit him. Your smell, which he tried to ignore, suppressing it down to zero, in couple of seconds went up to thousand. His fangs plopped down, and animalistic growl left his lips. His eyes changed color and his lips became darker.
His lips attacked your cunt, tongue diving straight in your core, thirst taking over his mind. Slurping up your juices like mad man, Yangyang was lost, his tongue movements coaxing a scream from you. Grabbing onto your legs and pushing you towards him, he was drowning in your sex, his teeth scraping your skin, a bit of blood pouring, while he licked you up.
A pained expression left your mouth. You opened your eyes, your eye pupils becoming normal with every thrust of Yangyangs tongue, and probably because all the blood that had flowed down to your belly was leaving your system, where his fangs had bit you.
Then you felt it.
Your fear.
Where were you?
How did you get here?
What happened?
Did you manage to run away from that monster?
Tear escaped your eyes and instead of a moan leaving your lips, it was a sniffle of fear and shame and not understanding the situation you were in. The drugs were wearing off.
Yangyang heard this and looked up at you. Your teary eyes stared back at him, he looked down. Seeing your wounds from his fangs, he stepped away quickly.
-I’m sorry, this was not meant to happen, - he got on his knees, - I’m sorry, I’m sorry, - kept leaving his mouth, his own eyes shading his tears away. You saw his red eyes and cowered back closer to the bed post you were still attached to.
You cried. Whimpers leaving your mouth while you looked at him. Yangyang tried to shush you a bit, as he moved closer.
-I won’t hurt you, I promise, that was an accident, - he explained, - let me untie you first, ok?
You nodded. When he did untie you as promised, you kicked him in the chest and tried to run. Your wobbly legs didn’t let you get far, you were scooped up in Yangyangs’ arms again anyway.
-Shhh, - he tried, - I will explain, give me a chance.
He held you by your waist as you sat on his bed, you directly on top of him, sat in his lap. You were trembling.
-Police was looking for you, - he started, you relaxed a little bit, - when you ran, you must have ben exhausted, because someone had found you. An owner of a brothel had found you and you were drugged. I am sorry for touching you like that, I didn’t mean to. Not while you were on drugs.
-Drugs? – you re-asked.
-Yes, drugs that make you ache for pleasure of sex, makes you uncontrollable, your desires or sexual references on display.
-How do you know?
-Well…
*Long, long time ago*
-Ladies and gentlemen, - a female spoke, she was wearing a see-through night gown that was down to her ankles. – today, we introduce you to a beast. Beast of pleasure!
The curtain that concealed the make-shift stage was pulled down, revealing a naked Yangyang, his cock standing proud against his stomach, tip of his penis embellished with a piercing of a pearl.
-Ladies, since the night is all about you, he is yours, only for a dozen dyvo (DYVLONY currency).
She then walked over to Yangyang, pressing a cup to his lips, making him drink the liquid, his fangs were out, but he was clueless to what was happening to him. When the first woman approached him and sank down on his cock, starting a rhythm. Once he realized his purpose was fucking whoever was on top of him, Yangyang used his superspeed to get them off. Once orgasmed, completely fucked out from the act, the woman was helped down, she would not be able to walk straight or walk in general.
Yangyangs cock then would be cleaned down, and then the next one would take place. Since his metabolism burned faster, the more he used his strength, the more drugs he was provided with in the alcoholic drink that was handed to him near enough after a couple of hours.
The body count kept on growing, and as the night moved on, Yangyang felt burn in his chest. It was getting harder to breath, all he could focus on was the wet cunts and squelching noises, that at once started to ring loudly in his ears. Then he started to vibrate, and suddenly, his body exploded, killing the lady who was on top of him. Blood spluttering everywhere it was a sight that was hard to forget.
Exactly thirteen hours after the incident, in the mountains a group of men were enjoying a drink, while they lit up a firepit, ashes were still burning hot when a poof happened. In the middle of the ashes was a naked young man, shivering. The men helped him up, giving him a spare clothing, Yangyangs eyes burned red, fangs showing, as he sunk his teeth in the first victim after his rebirth. He killed them all, until he realized what had happened before, his memories flooding his mind.
When he walked through the makeshift door in the brothel, ladies who recognized him tried to run, the men however were ready to kick his guts. A young maiden stood at the end, Yangyang knew she was the performer who gave him those drugs that killed him. On his way, Yangyang teared limbs of DYVLONY coming for him, snapped necks of women and men, ripping throats out till he reached the lady.
-How are you here? – she asked, Yangyang didn’t respond but his teeth painfully sunk in her neck, she kept on kicking and punching him, screaming, - I have a child!
Yangyang stopped.
-I have a child in me!!! – she screamed, and Yangyang let go of her. She dropped to the floor, - now you have done it! You have had your revenge! You are not welcome here, leave and never come back! I therefore announce you to be banned from this place forever!
Yangyang stood back, turning around, seeing his victims, all of them dead in front of his eyes. He ran as fast as he could, but he ended up in the place he was reborn. The firepit only consisting of ashes. He touched them and cried.
What had they done to him?
Years later, Yangyang had built a home there, the firepit was near enough an altar for him to reborn into again, if/when he dies. A secret room on the ground floor, a room of rebirth.
*
-They would have used you while you couldn’t anymore, - Yangyang spoke softly, you nodded, - come on.
He then led you to the bathroom, helping you strip from the shirt, since your lower half was naked, starting a tap for the bathtub, helping you in. You still felt the effect from the drugs, in between your legs, your juices still pooling your lower lips.
-When does this stop? – you asked.
-Should be a couple more hours maybe, - Yangyang himself had used a drug on a lover of his before. He was so horny that he needed to dick down someone, later it turned to forty-six-hour sex with no breaks, constantly pounding his partner, who wasn’t able to speak, just drool in the covers.
He had not used that ever again.
-I… - you started, - I am a fugitive, I escaped from… my guardian.
-I know, - he said, - I also know you were not guilty of whatever crime you committed.
You nodded, bathtub was now full, and Yangyang helped you clean up, at that moment it felt like he was your boyfriend.
-Who are you? – you softly asked since he seemed to be opened to a conversation.
-I have classed myself as a vampire.
-A vampire? – you re-asked and he nodded. – then the red eyes make sense, - you let out a giggle, - and the lips.
You looked at him and Yangyang stared back at you. He swallowed and you looked away. His fangs were visible, but it didn’t scare you, also, you were naked, but you felt no shame. You had been examined before, when you first got on this planet, when they took you lab, did some tests, gave you a vaccine and a chip, all that time you had no clothing, till they gave you a onesie to wear.
Nakedness didn’t feel like anything anymore. It didn’t give you the blush to your face either, and you felt a rush coming to you. Memories flooded your brain, nothing significant, just a few things with hooded eyes, something that you must have said.
“Cum slut”, you went shades of tomato straight away. What the fuck?!
-Are you ok, - Yangyang asked, - you just went all…
-Uhm, - you turned the other way, facing the wall.
Who did you say this to? You were closing your eyes to remember. The boyish jawline, the glasses, ruffled hair, your hand on his cheek, you looked back at Yangyang.
Shit.
That was him.
-What is it?
You hid your face with your palms.
-I remember, - you said, and Yangyang looked confused, but your hidden face caught up with his mind.
-Ah, I see, - he laughed, - so, you don’t want me to fuck you that bad huh?
You didn’t look up either. This was embarrassing, on today’s episode of how fucked up is this, that’s fucked up, that’s exactly what it felt like. Yangyangs laugh rang through the bathroom.
-I’m sorry, - he said, - I know it’s not funny, but your reaction is just too cute.
You looked back at him.
-Cute? – you asked, Yangyang stood up taking a towel, you got up and he wrapped you in it, helping you out of the tub, walking you back to the room. He didn’t let you sit down on the bed, he just made sure you sat on the chair, dried yourself of, while he took of covers from the bed, put new ones on. It felt almost homey. – What are you going to do to me?
Your voice small, when asking this. Yangyang stopped what he was doing. Detective Ten and Magistrate Xiao probably thought that you would be sucking his dick about now, but Yangyang wasn’t sure himself anymore. The situation was scary, even for him. He would love to pound you into the mattress, of course, no question about it, but that would have to wait for now.
-I thought when I find you, I will play with you, bite you, drink from you, have sex with you, and all that over again…
-So… why don’t you? – your voice quiet. Yangyang stared you down and walked over. When eye-level with you, he smiled, his fangs showing, he licked them while you stared at him. Your eyes wide. Yangyang waited for a different reaction.
-I don’t know, - he finally said. – you still could be having effect from sedative, not unless you want to be my cum slut.
With that he cracked up, and you hid your face, leaning down, pressing your face against your knees.
-I cannot believe I said that, - you still hid, - I am not like that.
-And how exactly are you?
Yangyang was next to you again, his super speed not scaring you at all. He was on his knees listening to what you were about to say. Reaching to cup your face in his hands, he made sure you made eye contact. You bit your lip and tried to look somewhere else. He let out a breath.
-I am, well, - you started, and then there it was, your lips on his. Yangyang didn’t say anything, he didn’t stop, if what he led you on even more, grabbing onto your towel. Kiss was gentle and the type you would want to have with your future partner.
For some unknown reason, it felt right in all of the wrong ways. He was an alien, more so- a vampire alien, but you were an alien too. There was no rights or wrongs in a situation like this. The kiss got more heated when Yangyang pulled apart your towel, baring your body to him. He drank in the sight of you.
-I want to make all of this mine, - he stated, pulling you up on your feet, he pushed you towards his bed. Touching your hair, your waist, your hips, butt cheeks, hoisting your leg up to his hips, - inch by inch, mine and no one else’s.
-I’m yours, - you nodded and gave into his hot mouth again. His kisses and touches seemed to be everywhere, he pushed you onto the bed, lips traveling down to your breasts, sucking on a nipple, and then on the other one, he looked up at you.
-Can I bite you? – he asked, you watched him and nodded, you were up to this. To being his. He chose a spot just above your breasts, kissed the spot, and then slowly let his fangs sink in, piercing the skin, earning a yelp from you. Once bitten, he licked up the wound, that healed immediately, and returned to pleasing you again. His hands traveled between your legs, touching the soft skin, the shortly cut pubic hair, his fingers sliding through your folds, gathering the slick with his fingers, bringing them up to his mouth and licking them clean.
Then his mouth was on yours, his body making way to your parted legs. You felt the bulge of his trousers rubbing directly at your clit and moaned in satisfaction, your hand reached for him through his pants.
-Take them off, - you said, - take it all off.
Once naked, he was on top of you again, but you spun him around. He was lying on his back and you were hovering above him. You kissed down his chest, his lean stomach, your hand grabbing his cock, slowly palming him. Yangyang touched your hair, moving it to the side so he could see your face. Licking the tip of his dick, you swirled your tongue around it, your hand pulling the skin, the wetness of your mouth coating his member, so your hand could slide up and down.
-So… gentle… - he whispered, his hands reached for you as he sat up, turning your bum towards his face, he pushed your legs apart and positioned himself between them, your aching pussy over his face. You didn’t stop pleasuring him though, your mouth still sucking and hollowing your cheeks, as much as you could before choking, since you haven’t done that much before. Yangyangs’ hands held your hips and legs strongly, pushing you down on his face. You moaned out, letting go of his cock when you felt his tongue between your pussy lips. Sucking one into his mouth and then another, then licking you up and down, near your asshole, then sucking your clitoris. You returned to your own job, licking the underside of his cock, the thick veins, down to his balls, sucking on them, while your fist moved up and down.
Your orgasm was approaching, and you tried to move from Yangyangs grasp.
-I don’t want to come, - you stated, and he let go. You turned around, kissing him again. You were about to turn around, when he spoke.
-I want to see you as I claim you.
Hot kisses returned to your skin, and you were pushed on your back, your hand guiding his member through your folds, to your entrance, as he filled you up slowly. The stretch was a bit painful, your walls fluttering around him, to accommodate his length, you had to wait a bit longer. Yangyang kissed your chest, not moving till you would give him a green light. As soon as you nodded, he pulled out just a bit and gave a short thrust, just to do that again, your legs went around his body, tangled up, while your toes curled from the pleasure.
Short thrusts were his game, short and fast, but your pulsing cunt sucking him in from time to time stopped his movements. He gave you a look.
-What is this? – he asked jokingly, - what do you need, baby…
The nickname he gave you put a smile to your lips.
-Deeper, - were the only word.
-Your wish is my command, - he kissed you once more, and you were rewarded with a rich, deep thrust up to your cervix. Yangyang pulled out and did the same again. – let’s make it more exciting, shall we?
You nodded.
You weren’t prepared.
His super strength and speed, had you taken aback, then you felt what it meant – to be pounded into the mattress, an orgasm reached you and you cried out, never had you had an orgasm from vaginal sex only, but somehow this was different. Your senses overwhelmed, Yangyang’s movements not slowing down, your core clenching down on him, while he was nipping on your earlobe, biting it to draw blood.
The next thing you knew, you were up against the wall, hoisted to his waist, as he entered you again, this time, he was moving in humanly speed, lazily filling you over and over again. Your head against the wall, your moans filling the room, he was vocal as well, besides the grunts and groans, and silent words like “this pussy is mine”, he had dangerously “tasty” moans, at some point his hips went stuttering, and his voice got a bit raspy, as he came, giving you couple more strong thrusts, his sperm coating your walls, and dripping down your legs, he had much of it to give you.
You were on the bed again, your legs spread wide, and Yanyangs tongue diving in your mound again. His hot lips sucked on your clit, turning you into a frenzy of moans, his hand pressed down a bit on your womanhood and you reached your high, his lips not leaving your entrance before he had licked every drop up.
Your breathing was heavy, as you came down from your second orgasm, and Yangyang plopped next to you. Then he felt a pang in his heart. The ache unbearable.
-Oh no, - he moaned out, you got up to help him.
-What’s the matter?
He couldn’t speak, his breath coming out short, sharpened, his skin boiling, he squeezed out last words.
-Wait… for… me…
The unexpected happened. In front of your eyes, his body boiled up and exploded, covering you red from head to toe. Your scream leaving your mouth, eyes widening in shock. You got of the bed and onto the ground, tears in your eyes.
Your cries the only thing to leave your lips.
Somehow you ended up falling asleep hugging your knees, not being able to stand up and do anything from the experience. What felt like a day later, you heard rustling from somewhere. Your eyes widened. Who was in the house?
The door creaked open, a figure walked in, approaching you on the ground, covered in dust, while you were still filthy from the blood.
-Waited long? – you finally looked up. To your surprise Yangyang was staring back at you.
-Oh my… - you reached for him, hugging his body, crying again.
-I told you to wait, didn’t I? – you nodded into his shoulder.
-Let’s get cleaned up, yeah? – he pulled you both up, - don’t worry, babe, it won’t happen for at least twenty more years now.
You could only nod.
Maybe you were meant to escape a monster only to be in the arms of a predator, some people are just meant for unintentional coincidences. Universe has its own way of sorting things out, and maybe this was it. His universe became yours.
Sweet Pea was always known for being a hothead. He was very passionate about his gang, the Southside Serpents, and would swing without hesitation at anyone who dared to mock them, or threaten them. He had been suspended from school, both Southside High and Riverdale High, due to fights on multiple occasions, he had returned home from school with black eyes and bruises most days.
Besides that, he loved running with the Serpents. He spent most of his time at the Whyte Wyrm with his friends, or out goofing off with Fangs and Toni. He was tough and, sometimes, ruthless through and through. The words “Sweet Pea” and “soft” did not belong in a sentence together.
That was, until he met his girlfriend.
She was a new girl at Riverdale High. She made a grand entrance her first day of school by tripping over something in the hallway, sending her books flying. Nearby students giggled and snickered as they whispered to each other about her. Sweet Pea hated the preppy assholes of Riverdale High, especially when they picked on others for no reason, so he made a point of helping her picking up her things.
“Here,” he said, extending the books and papers towards her.
Her face twisted with confusion and that’s when Sweet Pea got a good look at her eyes. It seemed like she had no control over them, they were just stuck in one position - staring straight forward. That’s when he realized that the poor new girl was also blind, something else that she’d definitely be picked on mercilessly for by the preppy’s.
He took hold of her hand gently and placed her books in them. She sighed with relief. “Thank you so much.”
“You’re welcome,” he responded. “Here, take my hand.”
Her hand found his and he pulled her to stand, slowly. “Do you have a cane or anything to help you walk?”
“It’s...somewhere...” She gestured to the floor. Sweet Pea looked around the floor, but the students were now moving and he couldn’t get a good glimpse of where her cane might’ve gone.
Sweet Pea took hold of her shoulders and pulled her towards the lockers to get her out of the way of the busy hallways. When it was nearly clear, Sweet Pea managed to locate her cane and gave it back to her.
“Thank you,” she said. “I didn’t know this school was going to be so full or so busy, I wasn’t ready for it.”
“It’s alright,” he responded with a shrug. “Where’s your first class? I can help you find it if you want.”
Her fingers brushed over her schedule, which was given to her with both normal writing and braille underneath. Sweet Pea couldn’t understand why they’d give her a schedule with writing on it, but he decided it was best not to question it for now. It could be helpful to him if she had trouble reading it.
She recited the name and room number of her first class. Surprisingly, it aligned with his, which unfortunately meant that he’d actually have to show up to class for once.
Sweet Pea took her arm and slowly led her down the hallways towards the classroom, taking his time and allowing her to survey the path ahead of her with her cane. By the time they reached the classroom, the final bell was just ringing, meaning they weren’t exactly late but also not really on time.
The teacher gave Sweet Pea his normal, disapproving look as he walked through the door. “How nice of you to finally join us, Sweet Pea.”
“I’m so sorry, sir,” the girl spoke before Sweet Pea could say something he regretted. “I had some trouble in the hallway and...and Sweet Pea helped me. I’m the reason he’s late, I’m very sorry.”
The teacher looked between her and Sweet Pea, taking in her eyes and her cane the way Sweet Pea had. Even the worst of teacher couldn’t make comments about a new blind student, so he sighed heavily and responded, “It’s alright. You must be our new student, Miss (Y/L/N).”
“That’s me,” she confirmed.
The teacher sighed and waved a hand towards the two empty seats in the classroom. “Just take your seats.”
Sweet Pea helped her over to her seat and made sure she was properly sat in the desk before sitting next to her. The class started and Sweet Pea was immediately bored. He was starting to remember why he always skipped his classes and was wondering if he’d be able to ditch so far into class.
“Psst.”
The sound shocked Sweet Pea and he nearly jumped before looking over at the girl next to him. She was slightly leaned towards him, but it was still enough to look very obvious that she was trying to talk to him. Sweet Pea chuckled and gently moved her so that it was less obvious.
“Thank you,” she whispered.
“It’s no problem. The teacher is kind of a hard ass, I wouldn’t want him to get angry at you for no reason.”
“No, no, not that,” she said. “Thanks for your help, it really means a lot to me.”
Sweet Pea couldn’t help the smile that spread on his face. “That was also no problem. If you need anymore help, just let me know.”
“I’m (Y/N) by the way.”
“Sweet Pea.”
He could see she was trying to contain a giggle. “Is that your real name?”
He smirked. “Wouldn’t you like to know.”
That’s how it all started. The next day, (Y/N) managed to find Sweet Pea in the hallway, claiming that he wore a distinct body spray that was easy to point out in the crowd, however much later she would admit that she asked someone to point out where he was to her. They decided to eat lunch together that day, and later that evening Sweet Pea took her to Pop Tate’s, where they decided that what they were doing was a date.
One date turned into many and before he knew it, Sweet Pea was introducing (Y/N) to his friends, and she was introducing him to her family. He was taking her home after school, where they’d hang out for the day until (Y/N) had to go home. Days turned into weeks which turned into months and, before he knew it, Sweet Pea was in his first serious relationship with the sweetest, most kind girl he could’ve ever met.
On one nice day during lunch, the friend group decided to eat outside. Sweet Pea was guiding (Y/N) out when she stopped in the doorway. “I gotta pee, I’ll meet you guys out there.”
“Okay.” He gave her a quick kiss, causing her to giggle as she passed him her lunch, before the two went their separate ways.
Sweet Pea set his and (Y/N)’s trays down onto the table and sat next to Fangs, leaving a seat free next to him for when (Y/N) came back.
“Where’s (Y/N)?” Toni asked first.
“Hello to you, too, Toni,” Sweet Pea responded, sarcastically. “She’s gone to the bathroom, she’ll be back soon.”
“I’m surprised you didn’t go with her,” Fangs said. “You know, to make sure she was okay.”
“Shut it, Fangs,” Toni said, throwing some food at him.
“She’s able to do things on her own, I just like helping her from time to time because I know how much of assholes these preppies can be,” Sweet Pea defended himself. “You can call me every name in the book that means whipped, but I will stand by myself on this one.”
“You don’t have to defend yourself. She’s your girlfriend, you’re free to help her however you want,” Toni said, glaring slightly at Fangs.
“You’re just a completely different person with her,” Fangs said. “It’s so weird to see hotheaded Sweet Pea being all soft and sweet with his little blind girlfriend.”
Sweet Pea hit Fangs’ arm, causing his friend to yelp in pain and take hold of his arm.
“Don’t ever say shit about her again, Fangs,” he hissed. “Honestly man, even if she wasn’t my girlfriend, that’s some fucked up shit to say.”
“I wasn’t saying it like it was a bad thing! I just wonder sometimes if you’d act this way if she wasn’t blind, you know?”
“You really don’t know when to shut up,” Toni groaned, rolling her eyes.
“The fact that you don’t think I’d still treat (Y/N) like the queen she is to me if she wasn’t blind just goes to show that you’ve never been in a good relationship before, Fangs, nor do I think you will be,” Sweet Pea retorted. “I don’t care if (Y/N) is blind, deaf, in a fucking wheelchair, none of the above or all of the above. I love her for her, and because I love her, I love helping her. She’s the sweetest person I’ve ever met. She’s not a judgmental, asshole preppy, she’s a kind person who understands what it’s like to be the outcast. And if you ever say some shit like that about her again I will not hesitate to hit you so hard that you’ll lose feeling in your arm for a full day.”
Fangs flinched at the threat and quickly changed seats to sit next to Toni. She chuckled at his childishness and shook her head.
“Do you really mean that?”
They all turned to see (Y/N) standing behind Toni and Fangs. She looked shocked and as if she were close to tears, which worried Sweet Pea immediately.
“Which part?” he asked. “Dumb question actually, because the answer is yes, I meant every word I said.”
“I was specifically referring to the part about you loving me,” she responded, feeling her way towards the seat next to Sweet Pea. “You love me?”
“Of course I do,” Sweet Pea responded nonchalantly, although those words were very foreign to him. “I love you, (Y/N), you should know that.”
She smiled and leaned forward slightly. It took Sweet Pea a moment to realize she was trying to kiss him and met her halfway, pressing his lips against hers.
“I love you, too,” she said, her voice so soft that it was hard for anyone besides him to make out what she was saying.
Hearing the words come from her mouth made Sweet Pea smile uncontrollably. His heart was racing with happiness as he kissed (Y/N) again, never wanting to let her go.
“Aweeeee-ewwww,” Fangs said, making a fake gagging noise at the end of his sentence.
Sweet Pea glared at him before rising from his seat. “That’s it, Fangs, I’m gonna kill you.”
Fangs was up from his seat and running around the courtyard in seconds. The two girls laughed as Sweet Pea took off after him.
