I want to start this by saying that I absolutely love your writing! Harmless is one of my favorite fanfics and I'm loving Unsolved so far (yes I know it's been only one chapter). So much so, that I already developed a headcanon shdhwjsj thought I'd share 😂

You know who I think is going to be super into the ghost videos? Peter Parker. Kid's right on the fence of skeptic x believer. He believes in science, but he has also been to space to fight aliens. He comments on every single episode. Is the first one to say "you guys should try using a REM-POD" and Bucky resents him forever for it

demo and sniper would totally have a buzzfeed unsolved type show where they go hunting for cryptids and ghosts. demo is sure that the supernatural is real and has a deep respect for it, he tries to honor ghosts and not to piss off any entities that might hunt the places they go explore (like ryan bergara). sniper tho is the sceptic, he humors demo but doesn't believe in supernatural stuff even tho he witnesses supernatural shit go down every Halloween with merasmus and whatnot (shane medej)

both of them are 100% sure that medic is a demon

Them just investigating (like the irl moments in the videos)

steddie buzzfeed unsolved au. the boys explore various true crime cases and supposedly haunted sites across the country and fall in love along the way (not to imply anything abt shane and ryan /gen) ive seen a few but they all get one key detail wrong: steve is shane, eddie is ryan.

eddie is passionate about all of their cases— he started the show, originally with his friend gareth who decided to pursue other opportunities. he wholeheartedly believes in all the things that go bump in the night. he is also a self proclaimed coward who tends to scream, curse or even flee when shit gets real. he’s dedicated to the cause though and works through his fear

steve is passionate too, of course — he absolutely pulls his weight in the show and cares a lot abt it all and is genuinely very proud of their content. he just… doesnt believe in the supernatural. its all bullshit, so there’s nothing to be scared of. he takes joy in calling all sorts of ghosts, ghouls and demons “nerd ass punk losers who get no bitches” and doing comedically deranged shit like stealing a bridge or laying on a pentagram or whatever while eddie hyperventilates across the room

except the upside down shit all still happened (excluding eddie, obviously) so steve is 100% aware of the supernatural shit that does exist in the world. after alternate hell dimensions, he wouldnt Really be surprised by ghosts, though he is genuinely sceptical of most evidence.

eddie is infinitely confused by his cohost — he staunchly rejects even the most damning supernatural evidence, but he is a member of the most bizarre group of people eddie has ever met. and he’s superstitious abt the weirdest shit as well — flickering lights, faulty magnets, broken compasses. he once hurried them out of a building during an investigation because they heard a weird clicking sound, spent about 15 minutes on the phone with someone called owens to confirm that “everything was still shut off” (and what the actual fuck does that even mean????) before apologising for the ‘false alarm’ and suggesting they just continue the investigation and cut all that shit from the video. it was the first time any of the crew, including eddie, had ever seen steve scared.

eventually, once theyre together, steve tells eddie about his own experiences with the supernatural, with a handy demonstration from el to really sell it. eddie is horrified, especially when steve tells him he still doesnt believe in demons.

🐝 Why Michael got back together with Book - a man who betrayed her on the day they met, which is forgivable, right, they just met, kiss kiss make up; but then he betrays her, the crew of Discovery, the entirety of the Federation, and the whole rest of the galaxy. Albeit out of grief. Also is it really a good idea to fall in love with the very first person you meet on your one-way trip to the future? There's a whole galaxy out there, Michael!

💖 What *actually* happened to Oros?

🏳️‍🌈 Did Adira and Grey ever meet again? Or did it kind of dissolve into well-thanks-for-letting-me-transcend-death-is-it-alright-if-we-start-seeing-other-people that quickly?

💐 What *was* Paul's legacy? I love him. I adore him. I wish the show had been about him. Give us a gay captain! I mean, besides Kirk, who is clearly in love with his Number One, Spock.

I know some people don’t like the idea that the Pokédex is right and Pokemon like Yamask and Phantump were once human, and headcanon Ghost Pokemon as not as connected to the afterlife as the Pokédex implies, and explain it away as folk stories, but I’m the opposite, I love it. Beyond pokemon like Spiritomb just now straight up being canonically confirmed to be made of human souls merged into a singular being, I really think it just… adds something interesting to the Pokemon universe. Hell, we know ghost humans exist, too, there are several that have appeared in the games, from the Old Chateau, to that ghost girl in that one building in Kalos. Ghosts just… super exist in the Pokémon world, and that makes me wonder; how does this affect the Pokémon world’s culture, that the afterlife is a known entity, the same as the world’s gods being physically present greatly changing religion?  Do they still have ghost hunting shows in the Pokémon world? Are there Buzzfeed Unsolved types running around investigating haunting still? I mean, just because the ghosts are real doesn’t mean that the underlying silly premise wouldn’t be fun to watch. Watching people get spooked is fun!

It’s just that ghost hunting would be a legitimate job in their world, a service like an exterminator is in ours. Exorcisms would just be another version of taking a vacuum to a wasp nest and sucking out all the wasps. It’s spookier, but it needs to be done. Or if they’re people ghosts, seances.

And, of course, just because Yamasks are born from eggs doesn’t mean they wouldn’t be reincarnated souls of people, y’know? It’s just how reincarnation works. Anyway, I just think that the idea of the afterlife as a tangible thing in the Pokémon world offers so many interesting plot threads to consider.

Alright, let's be real. The hws nations have lived too long to not have been entangled in a murder case at least once. Even if it was to a minimal degree. I'm just saying! They could have been a suspect, perhaps? The one to find the dead body? Was a block away from where it happened? Was the last person to have seen the victim? Was on the forensics team? WAS the victim (who made it our alive)? Or... maybe they were the murderer? (Idk man, there seems to still be quite a few unsolved murders out there.)

New headcannon time !

Today I experienced a thought, which is usually never a good thing, but today it is!

Ok, so does anybody remember BuzzFeed unsolved, yeah. Remember the razor boy joke. 

Louisiana’s the axeman of New Orleans, Florida is razorboy.

A cryptid man with supernatural powers, who is presumably from New Orleans. How the heck did I not think of that sooner!

Florida 100% convinced Louisiana, that he should pretend to be working for the devil, I can see him doing it.

Or take that as a more literal thing, as the states are like demons.  Which leads to so many implications about personifications in this world, and specifically the states. Or in specifically Louisiana. 

I need so many BuzzFeed unsolved X WTTT shit, like fucking desperately.

GHOST FILES HEADCANONS ☆

•Shane loves to scare the both of you. On and off camera. And especially when exploring haunted locations (or "supposedly haunted" as he would say)

•Purposfuly sneaks up behind you when your not looking and just stands there silently, grinning ghoulishly while waiting for you to turn around

•More often than not you can tell when Ryan's the one he goes after. It's kind of hard to miss that girlish scream followed by a joyful cackle anyways

•Staying on track with the whole scare/prank thing, occasionally you and Ryan will get your revenge on the lanky legged man

•The little shit—being Shane—tends to fall asleep at the office sometimes. And by sometimes I mean quite a lot. He's woken up with sticky notes plastered onto his face more times than not

•You and Ryan had the fun idea to draw on his face with sharpies once, only getting as far as drawing two balls and half of a dick on his face before he woke up

•That was fun. Getting a stapler thrown at your torso, not so much

•The night Shane decided to dye his hair, Sarah had sent you both a picture of him at three am with tinfoil on his head (not so coincidentally forgetting to mention the important context that he had decided to dye it) with the caption "said he believes in aliens now"

•Then she calmly turned off her phone, set it down, and walked off giggling

•"Sarah why did Ryan and (Y/n) change my name in the group chat to liar in all caps."

•All of you definitely have different types of music taste. Shane most likely likes country music, while Ryan seems more like a pop kind of guy. Both of them have taken the liberty of playing the role of a karaoke bar on long road trips to filming locations. Much to your chagrin
