"Ligma jokes aaaare almost always bad. It's kind of an art form in my opinion. There are a lot of ligma jokes people do where they 'get' someone, but that's not getting someone. Getting someone is: Having a conversation with Mark about Good Time Dragon for three hours and pretending it's a videogame until someone bites, and asks 'what's Good Time Dragon?'. That is a FUCKING awesome joke. But i WILL explain to you the joke concept because it's FUCKING [pause] genius. And you guys are gonna hear it and be like 'HOLY SHIT i can't believe no one's ever thought of this'. You have to be in a voice call with multiple people, someone has to say something [pause] that is unusual word, you have to pretend laugh you have to go 'AHAHAHA', and then you have to be like 'Vesting you ever hear that ligma joke?', and he's supposed to go 'Which one?'. He says 'Which one?', you're fucking IN. Because your answer is 'LIGMA BALLS!'. And you bring it all the way back to the very basic form [pause] of ligma. But- it's so meta, it's so fucking great. I wa- i- i've been trying to get Vesting with it for like, a month. I have been able to get, like, FIVE other people. FIVE OTHER PEOPLE in the span of me trying to get Vesting, have asked me 'Which one?', and i DIDN'T TAKE IT, because they were not the intended target. THAT is how you have a good ligma joke. The manager from akiba maid war is one of my favorite characters of all time. No one does it like her. Every other character of her type I've ever seen has been a man and that's so profoundly boring.

Apparently, some companies now are labeling mass-produced crochet items with "machine crocheted" to justify selling an entire granny square vest for 14 bucks.

1. Machines cannot crochet.

2. Knitting machines, to my knowledge, cannot make granny squares.

3. Even if there was a machine that could crochet, 14 bucks for an entire fucking vest is still too low to be paying people a livable wage basically anywhere in the world.

4. It takes me, a very fast crocheter, about twenty minutes to make one granny square in a single color with five rows. Multi-color granny squares take more time. I'll say 30 minutes. Next time you see a granny square anything in a big box store, count one row of squares and multiply by 20 (for single color squares) or 30 (multicolor squares). Then consider that it's skilled labor which should have an hourly wage you can live on. Then look at the price tag. This is Victorian piece work poor shit going on.
