“Since Harry announced his engagement to an American I already knew it would be a never-ending drama. I had to work with American tourists as a guide and they do nothing but complain endlessly and ask stupid questions. They will throw tantrums if they don't find an oat milk latte in a foreign country, let alone covering an institutional role. It is clear that they are the ones who would have the most difficulty in adapting to the habits and customs of any European country. Giving such an important role to an American was a huge mistake.” - Submitted by Anonymous
“Honestly, after Wallis Simpson and Meghan Markle, I hope no English aristocrat considers marrying Americans. Literally there are so many other nationalities why always choose arrogant Americans who don't know how to follow the basic rules? Why choose someone who would always complain and ruin everyone's mood?” - Submitted by Anonymous
During her affair with Edward VIII Wallis wrote lots of letters to her husband, Ernest Simpson, and in those letters, she constantly professes her love for her husband while simultaneously ridiculing Edward.
She complained about Edward's obsession with her, was blunt about being disgusted by his whiny, pouty behavior, and hated that he lived on an allowance and never worked. In fact, she told her husband that she begged Edward to end the affair and take the throne, because she thoroughly enjoyed being in their open marriage, and she wasn’t ready settle down with anyone, much less the "foppish" prince.
She HATED the British aristocracy and upper classes who looked down on her, and she understood that if she did marry Edward, they would be ostracized, but according to her, Edward refused to believe her when she warned him of what his future was going to be if they married. She also shared how she was so frustrated by his deliberate ignorance of reality, that she struggled to be civil to him, and she told her husband that no matter how BADLY she treated Edward, HE REFUSED to end the affair.
Her biggest fear was that he would abdicate and then she’d have to marry him out of guilt over what he gave up to marry her.
Ironically, Wallis was right about the future.

In any Titans vs. Justice League set up Wally should wind up siding with the League. Not for any moral reason but because Bruce Wayne is always going to have a better benefits package than Dick Grayson.
