Shockingly, the Idea of using a DND-character creator for creating actual DND-characters instead of little vignettes never occured to me... But I really wanted to model every Hermit first... If you have any ideas of what class each hermit can be, please tell! And I will be making a part 2 someday... Bdubs one has a little bit of a backstory... It's conceptually based on this model of Inscription-Leshy Bdubs by my good friend @randomtotallyrealgirl... But made more akin to slavic view of Leshy as a Forest Guardian... It's not a cultural appropriation, if it's my culture... Rens also from slavic folklore, he was inspired by Koschey the Immortal who conquered death, hoarded enormous amounts of wealth and spent his forever life by withering over it... You can use them freely, play as them, put them as npcs in your homebrew, come up with stats and character builds, go nuts! And there are some nice secrets, if you view them in 3D... I just need to add them to the growing google doc of my models... And actually post said doc on my blog... Yeah... Soon...

Jumped straight to this one because I'd never drawn Xisuma before and this sounded SICK

Sometimes a family is a potentially immortal space pirate, a 24 year old who literally doesn't have a family, a 25 year old who was part of a cult for a decade (the 24 year old was also part of the cult), a 12 year old who's one of the last of his species, and an 8 year old who needs therapy, badly.

The worst thing about the Black Mines was the noise. It was almost impossible to tell whether the Wardens were mad at you or just mad at some slime they'd found around a corridor close by. Their shrieks were going off constantly, and combined with the blindness, Hypno found himself very lost.

He was constantly sneaking - the only thing saving him from the Warden's notice - while trying desperately to listen to the sounds he could hear to see if he was in any danger. He could barely hear his own heart beating above that of the Wardens.

He snuck down a flight of stairs, one hand clasped over an ear to give himself a little peace. It didn't help, but the effort was more psychological anyway. He could hear them very close by, furiously trying to kill something. Their cries were so loud, their shrieks shattering through the mines, making the ground shake. Hypno pressed against the wall as darkness settled in, blinding him from a way forward.

If he could just be sure where he was, perhaps this would be easier. But his mental map of the mines was incomplete as much as he was lost, so that was no help. He felt maybe… left? Maybe? as he placed his hands on the wall and carefully moved forward, hoping the Wardens were upstairs and not in the room he was about to go into.

The sniffing intensified. He had possibly gone the wrong way. Something- if he squinted, he could make out something Warden-shaped ahead of him, but it was difficult to tell in the darkness. If he could just- get around the next-

Hypno would blame the angry barrage of sound that greeted him as he took one - one! - step without sneaking to round the corner for confusing him about the Warden's position. He thought it was further away. Instead, that one footstep was enough for the Warden to hear him, and before he could take any more steps, the Warden's chest was glowing and a shriek hit him so hard and so fast he had no idea he was dead until he respawned in the entry room.

He felt - deaf. With screaming Wardens still crying in his ears. He sat on the bed, staring ahead of him, trying to get his head straight. Was that his friends calling? Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe it was just his imagination.

He closed his eyes and scooched up against the wall, clasping his hands over his ears. It was all just. Too Bright. He needed the darkness. He needed the silence. Too loud. Too loud. He pulled a blanket over his head as he felt someone grasp him and pull him upwards, as if they wanted him to-

"Hypno! Stay with us, buddy. You okay? You look-"

Hypno shrieked. Wasn't aware of choosing to do so. It just happened. And it sounded just like a Warden. He pushed his intruder away cried again. He pressed against the iron door blocking him from entering the dungeon. If anyone had told him he wasn't a Warden in that moment, he wouldn't have believed them. He turned as a hand fell on his shoulder, and he shrieked again. He didn't even see who it was, but he did see those circles of blue light that carried his force forward, vapourising whoever it was who was trying to hurt him.

He slumped to the ground, covering his head with his hands. Too loud, too bright, not enough skulk. Let him sink into the ground and disappear, that's what he wanted.

A different hand touched his shoulder. He could tell, because this one stunk like skulk.

As you wish, Hypno heard in his head, before the ground opened up and swallowed him. And then, there was nothing but silence, and darkness, and peace at last.

Hermittober Day 26 - Quest

Last night I dreamt there was a new Minecraft snapshot that added in antelopes. I was watching someone cover it (in my head it sounded like a mixture of Phoenix SC and Xisuma), and apparently not even two hours after the snapshot got released, people found out that Mojang had secretly added another mob.

If you're in a world and you go past 3 million blocks in either X or Z antelope stop spawning in the savannah biome, and instead in the snowy tundra biome something called the Rwandan Pronghorn spawns, it looks kind of like this:

It's hostile and it has as much health and damage as the warden. The guy in the video in my dream went into Survival mode to fight it and upon the first hit it gave him the Levitate status effect and the guy ended up falling into a ravine and dying when the effect wore off.

Warden!Xisuma can hear everything on Hermitcraft. His helmet blocks out the sound so he can still hear but won't get overloaded with noise. No one knows why it happens, it's only limited to Hermitcraft as he has found out, but he never had this problem in Season 1.

It seems to possibly be linked to his status as an admin, being connected to the whole server on a deeper level than anyone else. But admins of other servers don't have the same problem, so X remains confused.

Had to take it out on someone, and he was shooting at her first.

Context: Pearl had just remade all the stuff that she had lost due to her warden mace mishap. Scar comes by, trying to hot-guy her. He chases her for a bit before catching her at Impulse's base and trying to sell her some Ominous potions which he fails to mention are all level 5. Pearl however decides that this would be the best time to show off her new mace.

Have we all decided as a collective that their duo name is Bop Duo? Or do we need to like cast a vote or something?

Context: Impulse called Pearl over to bop and as the two discuss some of the redstone for it. Pearlo gets somewhat judgy but Impulse doesn't mind and actually admits that it doesn't feel the same to bop without Pearl.

Context: Pearl stopped in X's base to afk for a bit while she went to wake up Karn. (her boyfriend) As she comes back, she finds X had logged back in to give another spinning clip.
