Heyos everyone, I'm Cally (she/her), and this is a dump/blog (?) of my writings, two cents, possibly memes and my feral fandom and sapphic side here.

In terms of genre I gravitate to fantasy mainly, if I'm very pissed I can whip out some horror fantasy, but majority of the times it's more of cozy fantasy bordering on magical realism, and I've done slice-of-life settings as well as satire and a bit of sci-fi

My poems tend to be more romantic but that's not my main alley

I also write about what I observe from news outlets and videos from Palestine and I write Pro-Palestinian poems as a form of advocacy, while also shining the light once in a while on others who are suffering like Lebanon and Ukraine and Sudan etc

I also have a few poems that express struggles and everyday life of mentally ill people whether we know it or not as a form of raising awareness as well

Excellent question anon, thank you very much for asking. I've actually thought about this topic a lot!

So, i definitely don't think there's any need for actual irl muggle songs to show up in Harry Potter, especially cool ones. The point of HP is that the muggle world sucks, so everything cool = wizard. Not necessarily because wizards would never listen to muggle music (they probably do at least a little since it's canon that many wizards enjoy television; televisions and cars are the two exceptions to the general "whatever muggles make, wizards either don't need or can do better with magic" rule). It's about preserving the tone and general escapist nature of the books – AND the satire. Harry Potter is a satire. This is super important. It has to be escapist first in order to let the satirical elements hit hard.

We don't want to hear David Bowie play over Hogwarts because it's immersion breaking; but if we make up a fictional musician who sounds and looks conceptually similar to Bowie, except with a wizard guitar and wizard themed songs, now we're getting somewhere.

Once we've figured that out, we can imagine all the magic bands and music we want. We don't have to think too hard about how exactly the wizards get inspired by the muggles to produce their music, that is not the point. Our focus should be to find iconic (preferably British) musicians/bands, and make the wizard version, whether hommage, parody, or both. And give them a cool name. The Weird Sisters is a genius band name because it combines a Shakespeare reference with a glam rock reference (to Twisted Sister).

But is this enough? No!

Remember that even when they modernise, wizards like to stick to their medieval aesthetic: the Weird Sisters have two guitar players, a bass, drums… and also a lute player, a bagpipes player and a violin player.

Also, it has to be funny. The average rock band has 4 or 5 members. The Weird Sisters? 8 members. Eight dudes in drag playing a bizarre mix of modern and ancient instruments is immediately more chaotic than just David Bowie as a wizard. Think about the real life musician (or sort of musician) you're trying to emulate, is she a Diva? Can't arrive on stage any other way than or a winged-horse's back. Crooner? Voice so charming it puts people under a literal spell. Rapper feuds? Curses battles.

"What about electronic instruments? do wizards play synth?" NO THEY DON'T because we won't let them. Think about it, what is funnier: a wizard playing a synth, OR, a wizard playing this on his own:

Wizard things are not practical. In real life a synth is useful because it takes less space and costs less than a piano and can emulate a full orchestra. Okay well wizards can just make their instruments magically play together and if their living space isn't big enough they can simply make it bigger on the inside. REJECT SIMPLICITY, EMBRACE UNECESSARY COMPLEXITY AND CHAOS.

"What is the opposite of what wizards would listen to?" Bardcore. Bardcore is about taking real modern songs and giving them a "medieval" cover, which can be very funny but creatively speaking is poor (= we're not inventing anything new), so this is NOT what we want. We want original songs that might sound similar to real songs and could possibly allude to specific singers / bands but ultimately are their own thing.

Making the best of 2024: The Peppy's

So...2024 was a peculiar year huh. I don’t know if I’m doing much better than I was last year...but it feels like I have. I don’t want to be left behind, and I think I have achieved to somewhat do it. Call it brute force or a desperate attempt to not give up as things only get worse in the world. But I’m choosing to stay afloat. However, I don’t know how that reflects in the music that has stuck with me over the whole year. Like, there was a period of three months where I did not listen to any discovered or new records because I was so tired of a new job I got (which sucked by the way). But I can’t say I am not grateful of metaphorically getting a kick in the ass and realizing that I can’t just stay stagnant and at least fight my own brain into finding better ways and keep going, so some of the best music picks this year were my “positive mantras” in a way. Hope you got that reference, because they are gonna show here and a lot. But before that, here’s a fun diversion for my personal music award ceremony!

🎻- does your oc play any instruments? what is their skill level (beginner/intermediate/advanced/virtuoso/etc)?

Mary- it was an old ideea, but she plays electric guitar. Back in the og days, when I first made her and her roomates/besties, I made it so all of them have a band togheter. I kept that lore, tho I haven’t made much with it these days. It’s just trivia yk. I guess they’re all intermediate? Just friends having fun.

The others do not play anything.

Mary- is like the type of person who listens to anything, or at least says it does. Tho she really likes punk and pop-punk and sometimes scene and hyperpop.

Ale- is the type of motherfucker who says he likes classical music. And while he does, he actually secretly really loves 2010s pop music.

Priest! Lev- well he exists in a medieval univers tho it has meme elements so like. fucking bardcore???

AU Astor- I’d say emo and gothic music for the joke like everyone else. But again, I don’t know much about medieval music. Whatever is that time’s period version of gothic music I guess.

Mary- It’s either possums or ravens. She has a possum actually.

Ale- pigeons.

Priest! Lev- either himself or cats. He has like two of them.

AU Astor- horses and spiders or possums. He does have a horse if anyone remembers. But originally I was just gonna make him a guy whos really into spiders. But hes the possum man so yeah.

What if baz dragged sol down and the Sun said thank you i was hoping.

There's something very pleading about Maps which I have taken to. Most of the song is just this... it's suggested the Sun was courting another star, and I think this is exactly what was circling the Bazaar's thoughts as they carried that message.

Plus as much as the Bazaar is a monomaniac determined to their goal, I doubt they've missed how unpopular the Sun is. Yet it remains focused, anyway, believing this scheme must be worth it. Because others don't know the sun like she does, they don't love him like she does.

We really don't know jack hell about Sol's personality thoughts and feelings, and barely his actions. So anyway this.

I don't think Sol hates the Bazaar, no matter what he does or doesn't feel for them. But I think part of the Bazaar probably is angry at the Sun, even if she'd deny it. I like the idea of a role reversal in any extreme power difference dynamic like these two. Let the bazaar express pain and let Sol welcome it. Is what I'm saying.

I enjoy the "everlasting in a different moon" considering FL linking moonlight to alternate timelines. Is there a world where their relationship is perfect? Can the sun dream? Is it allowed?

To dream of a better world suggests the waking one isn't.

I just want to ramble because there is no way to explain just how excited I am to get to publishing the part of Minding Q's where Nic and Chase are introduced

Because here’s the thing. Their relationship is simultaneously the most wholesome and most unhinged of anyone in the story so far, and also

Chase is literally the world's biggest jerk for his entire intro sequence. This is because Nic woke him up at 5am and told him they were going on a surprise roadtrip. "You’re driving." Imagine being stuck in a car with the most hangry and sleep-deprived person ever because that’s basically what happens.

Nic spends the entire intro being like "I SWEAR HE'S NOT ALWAYS LIKE THIS I JUST REALLY SCREWED UP THIS MORNING I PROMISE HE'S A SWEETHEART I PROMISE" while there’s this hulking used-to-be-wrestler-now-artist getting ready to kick his legs out from under him (not really but he’s thinking about it)

And then someone asks Nic why he calls Chase his companion instead of his boyfriend and it escalates to "So is it a friend thing or a romantic thing?" And that's literally the one thing that will certainly make Nic snap

Nic threatens Chase with lo-fi music

Chase threatens Nic with "I will flush your wallet down the toilet" "I will throw you into the street" "I will yeet myself out of the window if you do that again"

Chase is the only one that is allowed to carry Nic, but Nic is so tall that Chase is the only one that is actually capable of throwing carrying him

Chase is the one that cooks. Nic thinks it's funny to keep gifting him goofy aprons and yes. Yes it is funny.

Back to the intro scene. Even Sterling knows that Chase is usually a dork. a goofball, if you will. So seeing him fly off the handle in search of pancakes is very concerning. "MY COUSIN LOVES YOU SO PLEASE CALM DOWN SIR--"

Chase will not drink anything that was poured by or opened by someone other than himself. Nic knows this and keeps bottled drinks in the fridge just for Chase as well as juice boxes and Caprisuns because those are pretty hard to tamper with.

"Hey wanna play that new game you got?" "Nic, it's a single-player game." "Yes I would like to watch you play and I can keep an eye out for treasure you miss." (Ten minutes later, "WHY DIDN'T YOU PICK UP THE SHINY THING IT WAS RIGHT THERE" "NIC MY INVENTORY IS FULL")

Nic constantly having to ask Chase what he's drawing before peeking over his shoulder because Nic is SR ace and Chase draws NSFW stuff for a living

Nic coming home from work going "I got a new plant" "WHERE ARE WE GOING TO PUT THAT WE ALREADY HAVE SO MANY" and then their weekend project is building a new shelf

Chase saying things like "You need a new toothbrush." And Nic is always just like "IF YOU SAY SO???" So Chase just swaps it out with a new one when Nic’s not home.

Chase and Brooke (Nic's twin) having a phase where they are both really into bardcore music and keep playing it around the apartment and they have a bet going to see how long it takes for Nic to break

Nic and Chase know each other so well that they can order for each other without even asking. They just know. There’s never been a single panicked text saying "MAKE SURE YOU GET ME ____" when the other person is getting food. There's complete trust on that front.

Chase gets cold really easily. He chooses to fix this with hugs.

"I found a recipe for Velveeta fudge, can we try it" and Chase just stares at Nic in a brief moment of horror before going "f*ck it we ball" and grabbing his keys to go get the ingredients.

Nic makes it a hobby to find unhinged recipes for Chase to try cooking. Most of them turn out bad but they have fun making them anyways and Chase has a cast iron stomach anyways so nothing really goes to waste

"Hey Chase if I were an animal what animal would I be" "I already told you I'm not drawing you a fursona for free"

Nic going with Chase to the gym just so he can help make sure no one tries to bother him

It's the "Do you think stars have feelings" dynamic except with conspiracy theories instead.

Sorry I had to get that out of my system because I just love my characters so much.

Having some feels about the pandemic-versary this time around. Especially since I'm currently sitting in an airport as one of only three people masked up.

(so when I say the pandemic changed me I don't just mean I made a lot of baked goods and listened to bardcore...)

In February of 2020 I had surgery and was in bed recovering for two weeks and change. I literally had a hard time getting around so the only places I went at the end of February were to two doctors' appointments. The first reported cases of COVID spread in NorCal had hit the news; people were already starting to curtail their social activities and getting a bit anxious. I didn't feel great about having to go out, but the only restrictions at that point were on people who had recently traveled out of the country, and I figured well, it's just the doctor's office, it won't be too crowded, and I have hand sanitizer. Yeah, something-something Alanis Morrissette song LOL. It took a few days for the symptoms to manifest; I finally got a chance to hang out with my friends the following Saturday, the first day of March, but had to ask them to drive me home early because I very suddenly started to feel unwell. That was a week and a half before the pandemic became an official emergency. By the time Spouse and I realized what this probably was, it already seemed too late to try and isolate from each other, so we were just like... welp. Here we go.

I cannot possibly impress on people who didn't have the alpha strain just how fucking terrifying and miserable that was even if you just got the 'mild' version. I'd had the flu before, like a properly miserable flu. This was even worse in terms of the magnitude of fatigue involved. Like I don't think I've ever been as acutely aware of the weight of my arms and legs like that. There was a point where my breathing got just labored enough that I had to contemplate what it might be like to end up in the hospital when they were only just starting to set up for the pandemic. Fortunately I did not have to go. But I did literally spend another four weeks bedridden after having already been bedridden for half of February. Spouse also was a bedridden blob for the rest of the month. Friends kept tabs on us remotely and we ate a lot of delivery. God fucking bless the food delivery people who worked their asses off during the pandemic.

I was able to walk around again after a month but doing anything winded me pretty badly for about a year afterwards. Even as a longtime spoonie, the level of "oh fuck, I really can't do this" was honestly jarring. Spouse fortunately did not have the same long-COVID problems I did.

Of course, I get mostly-over the long COVID just in time to get the call that Spouse's parents' living situation has become fundamentally unsustainable for them and we needed to go out there to help them shut down the farm and move into town. Shortly after finishing that project and coming back home, we got called out again because FIL's cancer had become untreatable. After hospice, and then the funeral, Spouse decided he'd had enough with his job and the direction the industry was going and quit.

Let me tell you, I am so glad I had the option for therapy sessions over Zoom during that time and boy howdy I needed those weekly appointments.

The last couple of years have been a lot, I guess is what I'm saying. I sure as shit feel different and people around me have started noticing that I am different. I don't necessarily consider it a shift for the better, given... y'know, some of the stuff. But yeah, definitely one of those "before vs. after" kind of defining moments of my life.

Oh gosh, I don't really have a favorite! I do enjoy different types of genres of music, if that helps? I like nerdcore and some famous artists that are on youtube are Cam Steady, Shwabadi, DaddyPhatSnaps, etc. I also do enjoy the occasional bout of bardcore. I also enjoy old school pop and rap songs like Usher's Yeah, Flo Rida's Low, and so on.

So maybe... Pitbul, Kesha, Little Mix, etc.

But I'll listen to most anything so long as it sounds good!

11. What color are your eyes?

Dark Brown! Almost black!

23. Do you believe in aliens?

I don't believe in the Hollywood portrayal of little green men, but I do believe that we are not alone in the universe. There's been samples of water, bacteria, and so many other tiny microorganisms not from earth! With that evidence, there has to be some other lifeform out there who has intelligence! It's only a matter of finding a planet with a suitable environment that mirrors that of earth and given how the universe is always expanding... It's improbable, but not impossible!

28. How are you, really?

I'm getting better! Honestly! I'm working on myself, I've been taking daily walks, teaching myself some new hobbies, and my depression has been getting better! There are some days when I don't feel like doing anything, but I am a better place than I was a few months ago! :D

Songs and OC Ships Tag Game

Because there are many ships in my main WIP The Last Wrath, I'll go with my favorite ship from my second main WIP, Tales of Wilted Flowers.

Xarian/Lorelai - WIP Tales of Wilted Flowers

Set in the fictional world of Ravaryn, this book follows the story of a fae outlaw and a human adventurer in their quest to clear both their names and get their lives back, while fighting an ancient evil the kingdoms tried to ignore.

(This book is still very early in the drafting process, so I don't have as many quotes as I would like. There will be a full excerpt here tho!)

Willow - Taylor Swift (Bardcore Cover by Hildegard Von Blingin)

Xarian and Lorelai meet by accident (or what one could call fate), and that encounter leads them to the adventure of their lives while they slowly fall in love. Not only do some of the lyrics in this song really fit this context, but the overall fantasy theme of the cover music suits the ship!

King and Lionheart - Of Monsters and Men

They're a very supportive couple, who are always there for each other and ready to take a stand to protect the other should they need to - even if it means facing their worst fears. Throughout the story, they become each other's best friends, forming a bond that cannot be broken easily.

Wild Uncharted Waters - Jonah Hauer-King

I think this song fits their romance so well! They took a while in the story to actually confess to one another that they are in love, plus Xarian actively tried to hide his feelings in fear that being with him would put Lorelai in more danger - but eventually, they realize that they are stronger together than apart (plus it's in the moments where they're far from one another that they realize how much they need one another). I think this song fits that moment of realization.

The Tragedy of Julian and Rosaline (Raney Shockne ft. Alina Gingertail)

The story of Xarian and Lorelai almost ends in a tragedy, especially when their pasts come to haunt them both. Luckily they were able to prevent it - unlike the events of this song. Still, I think that this song perfectly encompasses the feeling of that bit of the story - when all seemed to go wrong - plus, it has a perfect fairy-tale romance style that this ship is all about.

My Demons - STARSET

Both of them have "demons" in their pasts that haunt them throughout the story. For Xarian it is his time as a captive of a cruel sorcerer for years in his backstory. For Lorelai, it is her family's secrets. Both of them help each other when their pasts come back to destroy their current lives. This song has the perfect vibe for this!

For the Dancing and the Dreaming - HTTYD Soundtrack (Cover by Peter Hollens)

What can I say? I am a huge fan of HTTYD, and this song is one of the most beautiful romantic songs I ever heard. I think that the lyrics are pretty self-explanatory, and fit Xarian and Lorelai's story beautifully!

"But now... I don't know. I don't know exactly who I am, or where I'm going - or even if we're going to make it out of this alive without bloodshed. I don't want to feel that pain again."

Lorelai listened, head tilted as she tried to think up an answer. She walked closer to where he was leaning over the parapet, looping her arm around his.

"How about... we figure this out together? There are many things I don't know as well, and any of our fates couldn't be less certain than what they are today. Gods know I am not one to speak about how things are going to end up." She spoke, playfully twirling with a small ribbon of her hair, before turning to Xarian, who met her eyes, unsure. "But if there's one thing this adventure has taught me, is that we can do anything. If we do it together. What do you say?"

Lorelai looked at him as Xarian considered her words. For a moment, she was afraid he would say no, that he'd withdraw, trying to solve everything alone as if it befell him to shoulder the world. He always wanted to help others, but never himself. But then, he smiled - a happy, genuine smile.

"I would like that, my love," Xarian said, moving gently so that he could hold her closer. "That would be ... perfect. I'm new to this, but I trust you - more than I trust myself, sometimes. With you beside me, I'm sure we'll find out all those answers, or at least some of them" [...]

FRINGE REVIEW: Death By Shakespeare

Urban Eclipse Theatre Company brings The Immortal Bard’s words back to life... only to slaughter them again in this brilliantly staged comedic romp through Shakespeare’s legacy of tragic deaths. 

The Zoetic is the perfect venue for this type of production. The stage alone lends itself to the extremely physical nature of the show and the creative vision of directors Brent and Cain is brilliantly executed with thematic lighting effects, “Bardcore” music selections and a troupe of players (with one special sacrifice, I mean, audience participant) who excel at stage combat while spouting off classic lines from Shakespeare’s most popular works. 

All the classic deaths are brought back from Romeo and Juliet to Titus Andronicus and reimagined with plenty of throwbacks to how the death would have been shown to a Renaissance audience and then twisted for a more modern interpretation. When you make your players wear protective “splatter gear” you know you’re in for a bloody good time. 

The show is well-paced with momentum dragging ever so slightly near the end as the players act out an almost exhaustive list of death scenes. Each actor demonstrates a real sense of respect for the work as well as having the best time on that stage. This is especially true with the unexpected melding of two of Shakespeare’s best in his self-professed long desired sequel (because modern people want sequels, damnit!) featuring the Weird Wayward Sisters (Macbeth) and Prospero (The Tempest). The audience joined in several times, hissing at any mention of The Scottish Play, allowing our thespian knowledge of theatre superstitions to unite us in the dark as we watched the magic unfold. 

This show is what Fringe is all about: trying a new concept, reimagining classic material and having the time of your life while doing so. There is so much to enjoy here, even if you think Shakespeare is dated, tired and overdone. Let this company prove you wrong. Shows like Death By Shakespeare are the embodiment of what makes Fringe a powerhouse festival. This one is definitely going to be a contender for Best of Fringe. Don’t miss it.

I’m going to put all the crazy bullshit that occurs in this episode under the cut bc I have a feeling my special interest is going to make this a long one. @lucimiir

So it’s the story of how Gomez and Morticia met and got together in their twenties, but for various reasons (one of which will be revealed below) the producers didn’t want to pull a Wednesday and just cast younger actors that looked similar

So, of course, they just put Carolyn Jones and John Astin in different outfits! A classic move tbh

John Astin is wearing two (or sometimes more) sweaters and argyle socks to signify that he is Young Now, and he looks about two decades older

Meanwhile, Carolyn Jones gets two new outfits, because young Morticia (who, inexplicably, has the exact same outfit and hairstyle as little Wednesday) isn’t the only character she plays in this episode

That’s right, Morticia’s Romance features my personal favorite supporting character in the whole show: Morticia’s sister Ophelia, whom I can only describe as a bardcore flower child manic pixie dream girl. I wish I was creative enough to make this up

Anyway, yeah, they dressed Carolyn Jones in a white dress and ballet shoes, a blonde wig and a flower crown, THEN they dressed her up as Wednesday, and occasionally used movie magic to make the two sisters interact. Liv and Maddie who

Also, not only does Morticia have a sister, but she’s somehow considered the plain one compared to Ophelia? She’s definitely the least favorite child, seeing as their mom is just incredibly mean to Tish the whole episode

Oh yeah, their mom is played by Margaret Hamilton, whom you may know as THE WICKED FUCKING WITCH OF THE WEST.

That’s why I think they couldn't get younger actors for Morticia and Gomez. They blew their casting budget on a star

Anyway the premise of the whole episode is that young Gomez is supposed to marry Ophelia instead of Morticia, because she’s older and supposedly more desirable even though they’re the same actress

(Pre-Morticia, btw, Gomez is a sickly young lad who’s described as “a weak, sniveling coward” several times and wears the worst ugliest socks I’ve ever seen)

Anyway, he obviously falls head over heels for Morticia, and is actually kinda mean to Ophelia because he can’t work up the guts to just say he likes Morticia better

They agree that they’re madly in love but since Morticia’s a really devoted sister she doesn’t wanna steal Ophelia’s fiancé. So Gomez asks Cousin Itt what to do

Cousin Itt tells Gomez to kill himself. I am not joking, nor is Cousin Itt

He decides to go through with it and Tish decides to join him. The only reason they don’t both die is because Thing steals the guns. Thing has the only brain cells in this entire fucking family and he doesn’t even have a head

Anyway Fester gets involved and introduces Ophelia to Cousin Itt, who is a playboy if you didn’t know. This comes back later

They actually make it to the altar, but at the last second Gomez mans up (because he’s not wearing those ugly ass socks) and says he won’t marry Ophelia

Ophelia is completely fine with this, so she just leaves with Cousin Itt in her arms. See I told you it would come back later

Anyway Morticia (now wearing her normal dress and hair) takes her sister’s place and marries Gomez and it’s so cute and I can’t deal with them and every time I watch it I go crazy. Yeah

On a not-silly side note here, the way young Gomez and Morticia develop as characters is so cool and so important to their future personalities IMO!

Gomez goes from “weak, sniveling coward” who refuses to take risks to the boisterous, loving, joyful madman we all know through his love for Morticia! He chose to change for the better because he just loved her too much to be a man who would let her go

And Morticia’s protectiveness of her own family is shown early on in her devotion to Ophelia! Not to mention her pride in how cool her new Addams family is stems from her hot mess of a biological family

So they found their best selves through each other <3 god a sitcom from the 1960s shouldn’t make me want to eat this much glass

Ok that’s enough analysis for now. Back to the sillies

First off, it’s revealed that, underneath all the hair, Cousin Itt has roots. It’s just roots in there. Simultaneously the vaguest and most disturbing thing they could’ve said ever, I love it

Ophelia’s things are that she loves flowers, medieval literature (specifically Don Quixote which is incredibly fitting because he’s Like That) and water! She apparently just loves to jump into bodies of water. Because her name is Ophelia. Do you get it do you get the shake spear reference

Oh and also, Morticia’s maiden name is Frump. Morticia Frump. Ophelia Frump. The mom’s name is Hester Frump. And Fester is Morticia’s uncle, so his name could very well be Fester Frump

Gomez and Morticia’s mothers are both in the episode, but neither of their fathers are there. Morticia mentions her father and implies that he and her mother had a happy marriage, so I’m going to assume he’s not there because he’s dead. One more thing to add to the list of Things Morticia Will For Sure Mention In Therapy One Day

Last thing is that the framing sequence of this episode is Gomez and Morticia telling the story to their kids. After the kids go to bed, Gomez asks Morticia to ���go upstairs and enjoy the thunderstorm together.” It’s subtle enough for 1960s television but just barely

She says no because she wants to work on her painting, and he immediately switches gears and starts oohing and aahing over said painting. Hey did you know that I love them more than life itself

"And I can't blame them- she's improved quite a bit since the last time I've seen one of her pieces- she'll be giving you a run for your money before you know it, huh Lincoln?" He jokes- he understands that expression, the sheer pride in somebody you care about finally finding something that they really, truly got. It had been KB's only hope for his own children over the years- he can't imagine it's too different for Lincoln. "I used the folder labeled 'bardcore' like the kid insisted was the right one, but I think music's gotten weirder since we got stuck here, if I'm a hundred percent honest, I'd have a hell of a lot of catching up to do if we got back to normal anytime soon." He laughs then pauses, sitting the little carved racoon in his hands back onto the table, reaching into his own pocket to produce a little bag, dumping the contents into his hand. "I got it caught while I was cleaning up my house." The setting was clearly cheap metal, and broken in half now, the only thing worth salvaging certainly appears to be the silvery-green stone he hands over. "It's a gift from one of my daughters when she was little, Maybe it's silly to cling to it, she just got it out of a vending machine, I'm sure. But if you or Lucy are up for it- I'd gladly pay for a wooden setting instead- one that won't snap in two the second I look at it wrong." He chuckles. "I'm good for the tickets or a trade."

"We've been doing fairly well. People have really been liking Lucy's animal carvings" Lincoln replied, the smile that formed across his face filled with nothing but pride. "If we're lucky maybe it will only play Safety Dance or that one Bryan Adams song from that Robin Hood movie." He watched as KB picked up one of the carvings, and then continued to continue about moving some of them around himself, rearranging them in a way that he though would be more eye catching. "Of course. That shouldn't be difficult. Do you already have the dimensions you'd need it to be or I could come by the radio station later and get them"
