She'd have a really good grasp on colour, even with monovision, just with how closely she works with the paint - Jungkook would assume she's multi. The glitter would really confuse him with monovision. His eyes wouldn't be able to figure it out, so he'd spend a little extra time staring at her which would ofc get a little confused. She'd try and help him out with the colours, but he'd find himself getting frustrated. We all know B is an acts of service girlie, so she'd spend a little extra time with him coaching him through things. She'd be really impressed by how artistic he is despite it all. They'd bond over cheating exes and how much it sucks to be an artist with monovision - but I think they'd find a kindred spirit with one another instead of a romantic connection. Funnily enough, I could actually see B with CV!Hobi.

They'd meet through Chloe & Jimin, in a double date kind of situation.It would turn out Jungkook knows Namjoon too (BD!Joon being a newspaper journalist is a nod to CV!!), and so they'd have a lot of mutual connections but I can't see them falling for one another. Annie would like him perfectly fine, but our girlie needs more a project. They wouldn't really have anything in common and nothing tying them together. As for BD!Kook, he'd think Annie was fine, but he'd be the kind to really trust his colours. If he doesn't have an instant spark, he'd think it was fruitless.

They'd meet at the opening of his restaurant. It would be a few years after the BD timeline, 'cause without byeol, it takes a little longer. Namjoon will have asked her to come along, 'cause he wants to celebrate with his friends and not worry about reporting. She'd speak with Jungkook about the hardships he went through to get to this point in his life. She'd find him really admirable, and be impressed by his hard work. The thing with Annie is that she often has red lips and nails. He'd think she was really attractive, but the red would hold him back through association. She'd come in a few weeks later. Her write up did really well, and brought in a lot of business. He'd give her and her friends their meal on the house and they'd get to talking. She'd stay until closing - but Jungkook owns the place. Would stay with her by the bar area until the early hours. It'd happen a few times over the following months and one thing would lead to another. They'd hook up, and it would be great (hello? it's bd jk???), but once they got it out of their system, I don't think they'd be long-term compatible. The first sign of Hayun kicking up a fuss and Annie would be like nope, I'm out.

"this is so dumb," sasha grumbles as marcy places two small canvases om the newspaper covered table.

"maybe you're dumb," marcy replies with a wide grin, moving around the spare room turned art studio to grab the little pots of paint. "besides, this is supposed to be relaxing, we're not going to create masterpieces."

sasha smiles when marcy presses against her back to put some colours onto the table. "i don't relax, mars, you know this."

"today you will learn how."

"what? through the art of finger painting?" she raises a brow as marcy finally takes her seat across the table.

"yes," marcy nods and taps her fingers on the table as she scans the pots of paint.

"what do i even make?"

with a shrug, marcy picks up a dark green. "i dunno, whatever you want."

sasha sighs, leaning back in her chair as she tries to come up with an idea. its annoying, the way her mind goes blank, because no matter what she does, nothing good enough comes to mind.

for a while, she watches marcy, having given up on her own painting before even starting. she watches as she picks up each colour and spreads it across the canvas with her fingers, not a care in the world that its under her nails. sasha watches as marcy leans over the table, her tounge sticking out as she focuses, the quietest she's ever been as she creates an image only she can see.

turning back to her own, empty canvas, sasha frowns. it doesn't have to be a masterpiece, she tells herself, it doesn't even have to be good, marcy won't laugh at it.

with that thought in the back of her mind, sasha takes a deep breath and reaches for the dark blue that sits next to her canvas.

"done," marcy hums to herself as she straightens her back, a proud smile crossing her face as she takes in the painting.

considering she'd done it with her fingers, she wouldn't say it's bad. it's not an outstanding piece, only a field with a few flowers dotted around and the longer she looks at it, the more mistakes she can find, but there's no denying that her plan had worked. the weight sitting on her chest had lifted and the tension had seeped out of her muscles.

pushing away from the table, marcy peers over to see what sasha painted. she was mildly surprised, to see an arag of colours on the canvas, all fitting together to create what looked to be a galaxy.

"woah," she mumbles, leaning over to get a better look.

"huh?" sasha stops painting and looks up at marcy, her brow furrowed. "what? is everything okay?"

"yeah, i was just looking at your picture, that's all."

"oh," she says, and looks back at her canvas, an almost surprised expression on her face. "do you like it?"

nodding, marcy rises and moves around the table to lean against sasha. "i love it, sash," she smiles, wrapping an arm around her shoulders.

"what did you paint then?" sasha asks, obviously trying to move the conversation on.

"ah, just a field of flowers," marcy shrugs, leaning to pick up her painting to show sasha. "nothing new."

"it's beautiful though." then sashs turns to marcy with a smile. "just like you."

"god," marcy laughs, "you're so cheesy!"

"maybe so, but you love me all the same," she grins and its then marcy notices the paint splatters all over her face, too fine to notice from her seat, but now they're faces are so close, it's beyond noticeable.

"and you have paint all over your face," marcy responds, pressing her paint covered index finger to sasha's nose.

The same nails that were still painted that silly shade... “Tree Frog Green” according to the glimmering text on the bottle Lizzie had EXCITEDLY rushed into his office with. He’d never LIKED neon green, it’d clashed HORRIBLY with his complexion but he had held his hands out & let Elizabeth paint them that colour all the same because it had made her HAPPY & that was all that had mattered, he had been doing what a father SHOULD do.

“Do you want him to DECIDE you’re not WORTH being his family? Do you think PUNISHING him in order to punish YOURSELF is the right FUCKING thing to do?!” he hissed, before sending a hot glob of SPIT into one of the empty eye sockets in front of him.

Orion who wakes up every morning very dazed and just smiles at whatever the men are doing, no matter how chaotic they are while he sips at his tea (he rarely drinks coffee bc it makes him sleepier) has a sketch of this below‼️

Orion (a Captain) who would make sure his men come back from their mission alive. Banged up to the hell and back but alive and able to get back on their feet while he hovers over them whenever possible to make sure they rest properly

Las Almas absolutely devastated him and he isolated himself for some time bc it reminded him of bad times, felt like he didnt do good enough for his men and Graves

Orion who grumbles with a scowl on his face at how stupid the men are while he just stands and watches them, not even trying to stop their antics (because he likes seeing how happy they are, missions are hard enough and hes not stopping them from having fun)

so, ive actually never been to pride :( im going to one this year though, and im so excited!! its in july for some reason, but ive got time booked off work, a hotel booked in the city its in (because its like 2 ½ hours away from me) and a couple of outfit choices in the mail waiting to arrive!! so, to answer the q: ill be 19 (my current age anyway aha) and im actually going alone, because i dont have queer friends atm and my cishet friend probably wouldnt be seen dead at pride. my brothers mightve come if they could, but theyre travelling to america a few days before and wont be back for over a week :(

i like to do it in "subtle" ways. i say subtle because theyre not super obvious, but theyre easy to spot too. i like to paint my nails rainbow and wear rainbow earrings (i recently got rainbow star earrings and theyre so cool!!), and ill usually do more extravagent makeup on fem days, like using coloured eyeliner or putting little stars on my cheeks. and, of course, this year ill be at a pride parade too!

im gonna answer these two together :) so, i like partner a lot. its simple, but it gets the job done just the same as bf/gf etc. i personally like to switch/mix and match boyfriend and girlfriend as and when it feels right to me. i especially love when someone says "shes my boyfriend/hes my girlfriend" and if i ever come out as genderfluid to my brothers, id want them to introduce me like "shes my brother/hes my sister". of the two mismatched pairings, i prefer the female pronouns and male honorifics, but that might turn out to be a day-dependant thing

- you and phinks were absentmindedly watching the t.v., when a nail polish commercial came on and immediately struck you with a certain idea. you smiled to yourself, and called out your bf’’s name, "hey phinkkkksss," you sang out, which caught his attention. "yeah?" he answered.

- "can I paint your nails?"

- he makes a grimace when you first ask him this, and by the looks of his face... he's ready to tell you a hard no. it's going to take a bunch of 'pretty pleases' and other ways of convincing for him to give in. 

- but once he's thought about it, phinks will finally let you paint his nails.

- you tell him you're only gonna put clear polish on him, just so its not too ‘showy’. then again, phinks’ hands and nails are... a little roughed up so to say, which prompts you to think: why not just give him a whole manicure!

- once you start, phinks never realized he’d feel this relaxed by this process. he’s just sitting down watching you intently cut his nails, filing them down, shaping up his cuticles, while also thinking to himself, “is this why people love getting their nails down??”. 

- plus he just lovesss all this attentive care you’re giving him!

- right as you were about to paint his pointer finger with the clear polish, he immediately stops you. “i changed my mind,” he says abruptly , “go paint ‘em however you want,” phinks then smiles. and nooo he totallllly didn’t say that to make the process longer noooo.

- but you smile at his request, and follow along with a green polish. phinks notices this and smiles, appreciating how you chose his favorite color to paint his nails :)

- “finished already?” phinks asks once he sees you start to dry them off. “Nope!” you say, and then immediately take his hand to plant a kiss on them, “but now i am.”

- he chuckles, and gives you a quick kiss on the cheek, while then eyeing the work you did. this whole manicure thing really wasn’t as bad as phinks thought. in the future, there might be a chance where phinks might suggest for you to do his nails again <3

✧.* feitan

- believe it or not, feitan actually enjoys watching you paint your nails. he finds the whole process of it so satisfying whenever you do.

- the precision of each individual stroke, along with the gratification he gets whenever you perfectly paint your nails is something he'll never get tired of (except when you mess up...)

- but one day after you were finished painting your nails and waiting for it to dry (of course he was there next to you), you brain lit up with a little idea.

- "how 'bout i paint your nails for a change fei?" you asked him, to which he just looked at you stoically.

- now feitan didn't give an immediate response right away... he just had this blank look to him, a look that would be almost impossible to decipher.

-"fine," feitan decides, which makes you happy and surprised to see. You search through the colors of your little bag filled with nail polishes, but immediately stop once feitan tersely says, "black" (no surprise tbh).

- so as you find the black sitting at the bottom of the bag, he puts his hands out toward you and you get the nail polish wand ready. the thing about feitan is that his hands aren't shaky or anything so its really easy to paint!

- as you precisely cover each nail, feitan literally finds everything SOO relaxing likeeee

- watching you do your nails is one thing but being the person getting their nails painted is another!! he loves the pampering feeling you're giving him, and though his usual bare expression says otherwise, he's actually thoroughly enjoying himself!

- once you're done and they’ve dried, feitan intently looks at all of them. now you might be nervous about what your boyfriend might say, but no no no he's looking at his nails like that because he LOVES it!! 

- it's really adding to his look he thinks, and under his mask feitan has this cute smile on his face.

- he then pulls down his mask to give you a small kiss to your temple :) and as he notices that you haven't painted your nails yet, he's asking if he could paint yours black so that you guys can match.

✧.* shalnark

- definitely the most lenient of the four to allow you to paint their nails! 

- So the minute shalnark jokingly asks, “what if you paint my nails someday,” you immediately take it as an opportunity to do it!! when you ask him what colors he wants, he just leaves it all to you so that you can surprise him (”pick whatever color you want, _____.”).

- now obviously you’re gonna take advantage of that opportunity... which leads you wanting to do the most extravagant nail design ever- 

- each finger is gonna be some different color and different design, whether it be polka dots or stripes or glitter or gems... shal literally does not KNOW what he’s got into. 

- and he even realizes this the minute you take out EVERRYY single color and little design accessory you’re gonna be using on him... for sure you know that your inner nail artist is come out so shal better come thru with a tip and everything LOL

- now as you start painting his nails, the colors you’re using are... questionable to say the least, and shalnark can’t help but make a jovial grimace when he see’s them.

- “that’s an— interesting design choice you’re going for, _____!” your boyfriend says oh-so cheerfully when he see’s how you’re doing his middle finger .

- “hm? i don’t see a problem with them?” you joked back giggling, as if you weren’t trying to recreate a portrait of shalnark literally onto his nail. spoiler alert: it looks like a giant glob. 

- (listen, your intention is to have fun, not to make them look pretty!)

- so once you’re on your very last nail to paint, and shalnark has experienced every stage of grief after seeing how you did them, the minute you place those last gem stones onto his left-hand pinky is when you finally announce that you’re done! 

- and the minute you give him that excited (and giggly) smile, he gazes over at your creation and you two just can’t help but to laugh.

- now shalnark hopes that chrollo doesn’t call a troupe meeting anytime soon, because its practically be impossible for him to remove them off from the amount of top coat you put on them. and noticing that your nails aren’t painted, nows your turn to experience the saaame treatment.

✧.* illumi

- the idea of you painting them actually came from a dream, in which you were decorating his nails with a shiny black paint on them. though you really weren’t sure how he was going to react, you decided to give it a try and ask illumi.

- now at first, your lover just stares at you with no trace of emotion found in his eyes. in his mind he was confused. he didn’t really see the purpose of painting them or anything. they were only a weapon, nothing more nothing less.

- but you explained to him that painting his nails was honestly just for fun, something you guys could try together!

- and so illumi takes this information with ease and allows you to paint his assassin nails (even though he still didn’t really get the hype with them...)

-when you start painting his longgg nails, he’s kinda just STARING at you the whole time... it’s a little pressuring because illumi’s gaze can be a little intense sometimes.

- everytime you make a teeny mistake, he might point it out 😭 saying stuff like “you smudged it” or “there’s a spot you missed”. and this isn’t him trying to be rude or anything, illumi’s just trying to help in his eyes.

- even though things feel quiet, deep down illumi actually really likes this whole process. illumi never really got any kind of attention growing up, so seeing you putting this much effort in something as little as painting his nails, it really makes him feel appreciated. 

- so yes, he’s very much enjoying the process now :) even closing his eyes in relaxation as you continue down the line of nails. once you tap your hand, signaling that you’re finished, he opens his eyes again.

- “done already,” he asks, and as you nod, deep deep down Illumi feels a little disappointed (he was really enjoying himself after all)!

- the minute he looks down, he takes his new painted nail’s in. once again... cue that blank stare. does he like them?? does he hate them?? does he—

- “they look nice,” illumi finally says, making you let out a quiet sigh in relief because you honestly can never know with him... 

- even though your boyfriend’s lack of words might suggest that he didn’t think much of them, deep down, Illumi was more than impressed! he really thought they looked nice :)) that, and every time he see’s them, illumi will just be reminded of you <3

IM BACK! so a lot of people requested the same thing or similar too so here is proposing to Alcina! i took a bit of a break bc i’m feeling super uninspired atm and have a lot on my plate so this isn’t my best :(

Alcina Dimitrescu

Lady Dimitrescu was nothing short of extravagant in everything she did and owned. The sheer decadence of the castle meant that in order for you to propose it would have to be nothing less than perfect.

One lovely evening, when the weather wasn’t too cold for this time of year, you had on your finest clothes and were waiting under the Gazebo in the courtyard for the arrival of Alcina.

When you finally saw her step out, apart of your breathe was taken away; she was beautiful.

Alcina was still in her signature cream colour, but her gown she was wearing was reserved for your more formal occasions together. It was form fitted with a corset which had beautiful gold inlay to match the soft fabric of the dress and her nails where painted a vibrant red for her lipstick.

Her eyes are fixed on the scene in front of her as she walks downstairs the steps of the courtyard. Beautiful green vines wrap around the concrete pillars, weaving their way to the ceiling where they blend with purple flowers.

Floating around the air are fireflies that you and her daughters helped prepare for your big night together. You spent quite a few hours with the girls dipping the ends of the flies in a glowing substance as they let them drift in the dimly lit courtyard. Of course you couldn’t help but notice how it made Alcina’s eyes shine golden under the light.

A vintage gramophone loops slow 50’s jams, a favourite of the Lady Dimitrescu. You hold out your hand, taking her much larger one in your own and perform your most extravagant bow as you place a gentle kiss to her knuckles.

“My lady, would you be so kind as to have this dance with me?”

Her smile is wide as she bends down and places an arm under you. Alcina hoists you up and begins to slowly dance with you pressed against her.

The courtyard is filled with laughter as she waltzes you around, your legs swaying in the air as she steps.

Eventually as the songs end, Alcina places you back onto the floor gently and thanks you for the lovely dance with a kiss to your cheek.

You lean into her touch, her arms still wrapped around you in a warm embrace.

Moving back slightly so that you can look up at her but can’t help notice the way your neck is strained to see her. Gasping slightly, Alcina kneels down, with one leg raised as you sit comfortably on her thigh.

“Alcina… I love you so much. Not just you but the girls too, I couldn’t ask for a better family. You and the girls are my whole world, and well if you’ll have me I would like to make it official? I have no Castle to give you or large amounts of money but I have the biggest heart and I want nothing more than to love you each and every single day, my Lady.”

Alcina is teary eyed when she looks at you, nothing but love and joy in her eyes. She scoops you up in her arms again, bringing her lips to yours in a kiss that is so tender but you feel her desperate was to keep you close.

Of course she loves you, but seeing you spend time with the girls made her love you even more. As a mother, she couldn’t help but fear that her daughters may not want another parent in their life, but all her troubles eased when she saw you with them. You really were like a family already.

You spend the rest of the night drinking wine and dancing together, just enjoying each other’s company as her daughters are all pressed up against the wall, clawing for the best view.

- reiner would be SO NERVOUS around you when he realized he liked you

- definitely started out as friends to lovers, you knew each other through a mutual friend bertholdt, but really became friends when you shared a class one semester

- when he realized he liked you it was in the most mundane situation ever,,, you, reiner, annie, porco, and bertholdt had gotten together for a movie night, and he was literally just about to put his hand on ur shoulder to ask if you wanted a drink (he was gonna get one for himself) and his hand stopped mid air when he realized he had butterflies LMAOOO

- this mf would become sooooo on edge around you,, like you knowing he had a crush was the end of the world 🙄

- annie and bertholdt would talk to him about it (and by that i mean annie would call him a big baby while bertholdt nods along) and then he'd become more relaxed with you once more
