hyperfixated on this game so hard i tried to recreate ac syndicate's animus database using html css and js👍

i will make this responsive though, i've only started doing the frontend but i'll also start doing the backend as soon as i finish this

basically this is gonna be a website that will allow you to create a database of your assassin's creed OCs (btw this was inspired by @gwen-the-assassin's idea <33) and help you with worldbuilding and making AUs (i know the ac fanon wiki already exists for that but i wanted to make the experience of keeping a database more immersive u know....)

this might take a while to be completed, but I'll try to post updates on it as much as possible! if there are any programmers/web developers in the ac fandom that want to contribute to this project plsplspls DM me!!

They can’t perceive things accurately but despite it all someway somehow they stumble into something closer to resembling companionship just before they both die. Falin is just that kind and Thistle is just that lonely. Overworked.

We both haven’t lived for ourselves in a very long time, haven’t we.

They both have a similar devotion to the people they love but again the difference is that Thistle starts overtsepping while Falin is self-effacing. The other difference between them is that people care about Falin <3 People have given up on Thistle long ago, and he has given people reasons to, while people refuse to give up on Falin. Yaad has a mini arc about it dw about it it’s ok he’s not all alone in the end 😭😭 He reached out for Marcille’s hand but they already all wanted to help him, they just had to be given the chance to, Yaad just had to be given the chance to, it’s okay I’m okay

Here is a fun fact: After the incident, Magnus, Agatha, and the survivors did not get proper medical treatment directly after the event. A lot of the medical materials was turned to ash and whatever did survive cannot be used because the heat could alter the chemical components in exithers or healing potions. The things that were mainly salvaged was cloths that survived the fire, which was washed thoroughly before being used as bandages.

Although they had a alternative for bandanges, many of the survivors died from smoke, lack of medicine, other related injuries, or...uhhh yeah. Luckily, other kingdoms were fortunate to help the citizens and they were able to gain proper medical treatment after around a month.

I just wanted to share this since this makes logical sense for a incident that was this bad. And also because Magnus got that nasty burn scar that was not even treated until like around a month later, same with Agatha's eye. So yeah 😜

I made some pages in HTML and CSS, now what?

For this week's Content™, I answer a question that troubles all buddying web developers: what should you learn once you've become somewhat comfortable with HTML and CSS?

The Server Path, for those who want to learn how to work with data to create things like guestbooks and comment sections!

IVE BEEN THINKING FOR LIKE THE PAST FEW MONTHS A WEBSITE WHERE YOU CAN UPLOAD HEADCANONS OF A CHARACTER.ITS LIKE PRONOUNPAGE BUT LIKE.FOR CHARACTERS.AND YOU CAN LOOK FOR OTHER PEOPLE'S HEADCANONS ok.let me explain when you log into the website and create a profile, you can submit a headcanon for a character you'd have to specify what character from what media/fandom it is since theres also like.a discovery screen with a search bar where you can look up any character/media and see headcanons for that character/media [you can also look up people's profiles to look through all their headcanons] when you create/look at a headcanon page for a character it shows a screen that looks smth like this [i made this in april so its a little outdated]

you can add more that one photo btw.it makes like a little album and you can scroll through the images.since ik people like to make alternate designs of characters [same i do it too] you can make your headcanon pages for each character private or public, privating a headcanon page would be the same as "unlisting" a video on youtube, making it only accessible to the headcanon page's creator and anyone who has the link to it. also if you're making a headcanon page and its not finished then the draft saves as a private headcanon page and you can edit your pages whenever you want [even if theyre already public] the original name i had for the website was something along the lines of "headcanon headcount" because both abbreviate to hc so it could be called something like hc2 or smth [like how archive of our own is abbreviated to ao3] but i am very open to better ideas cuz i think that name kinda sucks PLEASE HELP THIS WOULD BE SO AWESOME IF IT WAS REAL

i love madoka magica however i dont think we as a fandom talk enough about how tragic madoka herself is. probably because the narrative itself steers you away from thinking about her personally. shes not a character shes a desire that homura has, shes a force of good, shes homura's foil. but those are all madoka's narrative roles but madoka herself as a person is not really looked at because we are viewing this world from an unreliable narrator(homura) who only sees madoka as those things. The best thing homura could have done for madoka was give up on her, to let her go. because every time we go back in time the image of madoka is distorted, she loses more of herself every regression of homura's as she tries harder and harder to save her. We don't even know what madoka originally wished for to become a magical girl in the original timeline. and she actually acts quite differently than the madoka we meet. shes a lot more honest and caring and bold. by the time homura's has reached the actual anime madoka has been reduced by the sands of time to a figment of herself. she has no wants or desires of her own beyond wanting to do good and help her friends and when all her humanity is stripped away is when she finally acends to godhood because thats all thats left of her. an ideal and a faith in her. madoka kaname died a long time ago and all that is left is her ghost.
