eating disorder recovery took me fully two years or more, not just because of behavioral changes and extreme hunger, but because of the digestive issues depriving yourself causes too. almost nobody talks about this! but when your body is deprived it slows digestion down dramatically to preserve energy, which means you dont get as many hunger cues, and when you do eat, your food just sits in your stomach not being processed for ages, which can cause uncomfortable bloating and constipation and all kinds of problems that make eating regularly harder. The only way to get past this is to just keep eating and drinking water and toughing it out. Of Herbs and Altars on Youtube has some videos about this but before I encountered them I had no idea what was happening to my guts, circa 2015-17 when I was refeeding.

hey soo
everytime i eat i get bloated
and i have a really really bad gut
when i was younger i could take more then a week to be able to poop
and i already did few enemas in the hospital so i could do poop (those are most recent then the other ones i said)
what you suggest 4 me in that case?? i really HATE bloating and HATE having to take laxs
Okay so it might be a lot of factors acting alone or together. I would SUGGEST you try going through all these for about a week and see for yourself whether you see any difference.
Lack of fiber: You may not be consuming enough fiber (fresh fruits and vegetables are one of the easiest source available) which might be causing constipation.
Too much carbs: Now there are 2 types of carbs: complex carbs(which is the most commonly heard one) and short-chain carbs. You might be consuming too much short-chain carbs like , bakery products, most cereals, honey, maple syrup, etc.
Dairy intolerance: most common cause of bloating, try going vegan or just cut out dairy products for a week and see whether you see any difference.
Not enough hydration: drink at least 7-8 glasses of water daily.
Lack of exercise: Not enough movement can cause constipation an difficulty in passing gas as well. You can see this very commonly with people who have desk jobs.
Stress management: Too much anxiety usually causes loose motions but some people react differently to it. Meditate, regulate your work hours and get good sleep.
Now in case these don't work out, you might have an underlying medical issues. Go to a professional a see whether you have IBS, or delayed stomach emptying (there is a word for it, I don't remember) or hormonal imbalances.

Let me yap about my IBD flare up for a second
We need to talk about our IBD flare ups more often especially how they make us feel, what we have to do when they happen, etc. It's imperative people know how awful it is. They're not just "a little bit of gas" or "just plain old constipation". IBD is a disability. Flare ups are fucking disabling.
This week I'm trying to heal from a flare up. My biggest weakness that brings them on is stress. There's always the possibility of one before/during/after my menstrual cycle. I have pain on my lower right side, hip area. That's where the cecum area is of the colon.
Other things that happen with my flare ups are: low grade fever, extreme fatigue, diarrhea to constipation (and reverse), flatulence, dry eyes, sore throat, dry mouth, lower back pain, bloating, and joint pain.
What do I do? Sleep, rest, lower stress levels, eat soft & vitamin C rich foods, abstain from strenuous exercise, do light stretching, take vitamins, take my meds, take pain relievers, take a non-stimulant softener when the constipation hits, and BREATHE.
Food-wise, I tend to go with things like soft rice, Del Monte peach cups (my favorite), oatmeal, shredded chicken soup (sometimes with cabbage & potatoes), mashed potatoes. Again, all soft and all cooked.
Something that I recommend yet many people are ashamed to talk about or even mention is monitoring one's poops. It is very beneficial to know what is going on with your colon and monitoring your BMs is a good way to do so. There are even apps you can use to keep track!
Just today I was able to discern that my colon is getting better by having monitored my bowel movements. The shape has improved and is starting to look normal!
Monitoring your health is so important...especially if you live in a country that doesn't give a shit if you're healthy or not and makes healthcare a luxury.

Plant-Based Benefits and Tips!
A couple of lovely people asked for some elaboration on plant-based eating! I studied nutrition & dietetics in college before I dropped out so I'm not a professional in nutrition but I do have a broad understanding of the biochemistry behind what we eat.
This is kind of a long post, so continue under the cut!
Starting with the basics!
I aim for a more whole foods plant-based diet, which is essentially a low-fat diet that focuses on removing all animal products, limiting processed food, and minimizing oils.
Looking at micronutrients, both protein and carbs have about 4 calories per gram, but oil has 9 calories per gram. Low-fat diets are often easier to manage calories on, as you can fill up on a higher volume of protein and carbs (specifically fiber) to reach satiety, whereas processed/high-fat foods are higher in calories per serving, meaning you get less volume.
You DO need fat in your diet, but it's preferable to reach for nuts, seeds, avocados, etc. instead of oil, which is comparatively nutritionally void.
FIBER IS YOUR BESTIE. Fruits, vegetables, and whole grains are low in calories meaning you can eat more of them, reaching satiety faster than you would with something processed. Fiber makes your digestive system happy. Be sure to incorporate more plants into your diet gradually so your digestive system can adjust.
Let's talk about animal products...
They are inflammatory by nature. If it comes from an animal, particularly red meat and ESPECIALLY processed meat, it will cause stomach issues in most people.
Fun fact, we are biologically closer to herbivores than carnivores. Our digestive tracts are much longer and our stomachs are less acidic than a carnivore's, meaning we are designed to most efficiently digest plant matter. Carnivores, on the other hand, have short digestive tracts and significantly more acidic stomachs for breaking down flesh and bone. This is why many people experience gastrointestinal discomfort when consuming meat. This leads to bloating, gas, and constipation. We are omnivores because we CAN consume animal products for survival, but it is nowhere near optimal.
Dairy is highly inflammatory and is directly linked to hormonal cancers (breast, prostate, etc.) It is also high in saturated fat, which is inflammatory. When we are born, we have the "gene" necessary to process breastmilk, but for many people, as we age, this "gene" gets switched off. Past infancy, we don't need milk (or other dairy products) because we can get our nutrients from other food sources. Black and Asian individuals have the highest rates of lactose intolerance. Not to mention, dairy is full of foreign bacteria, especially from factory farms, which causes an immune response in the body, leading to further inflammation.
Eggs are saturated fat and cholesterol bombs. They're high in protein, sure, but you can get protein and a wide variety of other nutrients from things like tofu.
To summarize, animal products are high in fat, high in cholesterol, high in calories, and cause inflammation, bloating, gas, and of course, constipation. Eating whole foods like vegetables, fruits, whole grains, beans/legumes, tofu, nuts, and seeds will boost your fiber intake, fill you with antioxidants, foster healthy gut bacteria, and reduce gastrointestinal issues.
Make sure you add more plants to your diet GRADUALLY. If you immediately go full force into eating plant-based, your stomach will experience distress due to the sudden increase in fiber, creating gas and bloating. But this will subside, and you'll feel better overall!
I highly recommend listening to seminars on YouTube by Dr. Neal Barnard, Dr. Michael Greger, Dr. Will Bulsiewicz, and Linda Davis RD to learn more in depth about what I've talked about.
Extra tips:
An air fryer is going to change your life when it comes to cooking without oil and making stuff taste good and have a better texture! I use mine multiple times a day.
TOFU!!! I'm a soy addicts, and tofu is my favorite source of protein. There's so many ways to prepare it, too!
Berries are so nutrient dense and delicious-- nature's candy!
There's honestly nothing wrong with protein powder even though it's processed. Just be sure to opt for vegan protein powder so you aren't loading your body with whey.
Stevia is a godlike sweetener, imo.
Eat a wide variety of different plants to diversify your gut microbiome and to get a variety of vitamins and minerals!
Take care of yourselves :') 💚🌿 I may add to this post as more things pop in my head!
When I tell you it's so goddamn easy to do dishes when you don't cook with oil 😭
Don't drink alcohol... this is the most hypocritical thing I can say lmao but it will wreak havoc on your gut microbiome

HOW I ELIMINATE BLOATING.
Tumblr media
WHAT CAUSES BLOATING AND WHY?
"The most common reason for bloating is having a lot of gas in your gut. This can be caused by some food and drinks, such as some vegetables and fizzy drinks, or by swallowing air when you eat. It can also be caused by a problem with your digestion, such as constipation." -NHS
HOW I DEAL WITH IT:
Exercise regularly - should be exercising in general
Drink herbal teas - helps with digestion
Walk after eating
Eat slowly and mindfully - am I over eating? Let the food digest properly.
Keep a food diary - Track foods that make me bloat.
Stomach massages
Stay hydrated- drink the recommended amount of water
Eat with my mouth closed
Increase fibre - for digestion
Avoid chewing gum too much - overconsumption of excess swallowed air and the sugar content can cause bloating
Don't consume gassy foods/drinks - I don't really take them anyways but I do in moderation
Don't eat a lot of processed foods
Don't consume a lot of sodium or sugar
Avoid eating large amounts of diary

I want to hear more pregnant Bezz thoughts of yours. What's his pregnancy like? Cravings? Illness? What does he do most of the time? You mentioned he isolated himself, does he get sad when lonely? Does Pecco visit him and help him with stuff? Does Bezz attempt to remember who the father could be and contact him? How does Bezz feel isolating himself when he's usually a very social person? Any preg!bezz thoughts you have, I love your cute au 🩵🩵
ANON I'm sorry I'm so late but my head has lately decided go to a writing strike HSHSHSHS but I've been listening to Alejandra Guzman, Cristina Aguilera and RBD in loop and now I'm better
You have very VERY important questions.  Preg! Bezz has been spinning like a piece of spicy chicken in my brain and im go and talking to a bunch of moms to project my man into their problems wuwuwu
This answer is going to be too long and a mess, I'm so sorry orz orz orz
(and each pregnancy is completely unique. What is normal for one person may be a sign of absolute danger for another. Always remember to go to your trusted gynecologist/obstetrician!)
1. What's his pregnancy like? Cravings? Illness?
He craves Japanese food but is banned from sushi!  He is an unhappy Bezz when people told him that sushi is dangerous for the baby.  Beyond that, he doesn't really have food cravings, he just eats a lot (and then throws up because he feels guilty for eating so much. He has more problems with food than cravings. TCA/Eating Disorder Bezz is very personal to me- but it's going to therapy and continuing with a new nutritionist!)
About symptoms.  At first he thinks it's an asymptomatic pregnancy, and it's more like the pregnancy is camouflaging itself.
Like. He's throwing up his guts, but he think “its relates it to the end of the season and the stress causes that in him” (even though he's no longer in line for the championship) (and he's never thrown up from stress before).  He then feels fatigued and can't sleep, but that's all because he travels a lot, jet lag and all that.  He misses his dog and cries looking at his photos. He has belly cramps, but it's probably something he ate in the paddock when he had a sudden aversion to the smell of chicken and he couldn't eat anything from the hospitality.
On top of that, his painkillers are kicking him between physical therapy.
When the season ends and his body has a chance to catch up, all the symptoms hit him like a truck. Headaches, heartburn, constipation and generally the desire to die to end the torment of him. He is also bloated…? and feels like shit. The bug is charging for every fall he had at the end of the season, or at least that's what Bezz thinks as he gets up for the second time in the night to urinate at the end of the second trimester or when he has to drink his calcium-fortified milk -very expensive and he hates the taste-.  The bug is really demanding with they needs!
2. What does he do most of the time? You mentioned he isolated himself, does he get sad when lonely?
I said “practically vanished from the face of the earth.”  He wasn't really alone, he is a family man, and of course he returned to his childhood home!  His older sister was very happy for him!  (The youngest offered him a rue tea as soon as he mentioned that he are pregnant, before Marco clarified that he was going to keep it- wait “Laura, how do you know that these are abortifacients?” “Oh Marco, don't ask questions for which you don't want answers.")
(i'm sorry i love his sisters so much hshshs)
But yeah, he feels so lonely because he went from spending almost all the time with his team or the people at the ranch, not just the other riders, and now is just his family and his new “medical crew” (obstetrician, psychologist, nutritionist).
Also, He is an unemployed man!  At least until Valentino calls him and tells him he has something for him to do at the academy (like Migno, lol)
He can't help in the mechanical workshop (although now that Vito goes to the races with him, I wonder what's happened with that), so he goes with his mom to do the administrative work.
He hates it so much :)
Those first months are torture for him and his family. His two sisters capitulated as soon as they could and left (they have a life to, Marco!). When he's not helping his mom or learning to become expert in Excel, he's watching old seasons of MotoGP, F1, and NBA. He stays at home mostly. He gets in a bad mood about it, but he prefers it to having to face his friends :(
But he can now recite by heart the podiums of every MotoGP and F1 race from 2007 and 2008!
3. Does Pecco visit him and help him with stuff?
Yeah! Bezz calls Pecco to tell him because he knows he can't run away forever for his friends, but he calls him at week 15 which is a long time past the period for a termination of pregnancy (wait, are abortions even legal in Italy?).  He called pecco when he say himself “there is no turning back from this.”
 (He's a fool...)
Pecco, once he discovers that Bezz is no longer going to lock himself in and respond to his messages (although not those from the academy's WhatsApp group...), finds out his home address and appears from time to time to check on him and take him out to eat Japanese food (but not sushi :c).  He texts him constantly and listen to Marco when he calls him to tell him something about how horrible he feels and how none of the websites he's seen talk enough about back pain (they do, he doesn't really read a lot).
Bezz is also ignoring the absolute circus that is the 2024 season because he feels rubbish not being there, and Pecco is happy not to touch on the topic at all because talking about the season is talking about Martín and Márquez and no, thanks.
Pecco invites himself to the baby reveal date in the obstetrician (Marco doesn't throw a reveal party, booo) and together they discover that the bug that Bezz is having will be a little boy.
It's Pecco who brings Luca and Franky when Bezz says he's ready to mention it to more people (after finding out the sex of the baby).  Luca is the obvious choice for everything and Franky is Franky, so he has to be there. And they go on a shopping trip - with Pecco’s bonus - so they don't have time to process anything at all.
Franky keeps trying to buy VR46-themed things (why are there so many?) while Luca asks the -no- innocent question of “who is the father?”
4. Does Bezz attempt to remember who the father could be and contact him?
NOW. THIS QUESTION.
Short answer: no :)
Long answer: To each person who asks, Bezz will say a very eloquent “I am the father of the baby :D”.  He admits that he had sex with a lot of people at that time and doesn't remember most of them, so it's not worth looking for the child's other father. The bug is his, he is carrying it in his body and they don't need anyone else.
REAL Answer: Marco absolutely has an idea who the father is and will DIE before telling anyone, not even his family.  He will take that secret to the grave.  When his little bug is born and grows with brown eyes and to have curly brown hair, no one will ask about it anymore.
(when the boy grows up to have blue eyes and straight hair, people have QUESTIONS. Marco is not answering.)
SORRY IT'S SO LONG it's just- pregbez

how i went from 60kg to 54kg ( 6kg / 13lb difference ) in two weeks!
( after two years of yoyo-ing and plateaus! )
so first i wanna clarify a few things :
weight loss will be more rapid in the first week or so but will continue throughout
even though this method is very lenient, still count calories and be mindful of what you consume!
i do not promote completely dry-fasting simply because of the negative effects that it has had on me in the past, but feel free to incorporate it safely!
now the good part...
after 2 years of (failed) 4n4, intermittent fasting has been my golden ticket.
my key is giving myself a 4 hour window to eat whatever I want, then fasting for 20 hours. in the first 5 hours of the fast, I hydrate with water and green tea (drink A LOT!)
for the remaining 15, i go with minimal liquids. obviously drink if you're thirsty, but do not indulge to suppress cravings. this will cause bloating, discomfort, and may mess with your digestion.
what to eat while the window is open.
my favourite part about this is that you can eat whatever you want while the window is open. a balance of healthy fats, carbs and proteins is always ideal, but usually I stick with 4 cups of green tea ( 0 cal ), yogurt with granola ( 800 calls ), and some sort of carbohydrate. this keeps me "full" for HOURS and ensures that your body is still getting nutrients while still helping you drop fat quickly.
staying accountable.
ever since the "LIFE fasting app" went down, i've been using "ZERO". it is just as good and includes all the features and possibly even more. if you input your current weight and your goal weight, it estimates how long it will take you to reach your goal.
extra notes.
light-headedness, constipation, and mood swings are expected
"refeeding syndrome" occurs when binging after a long fasting period. consume wisely.
a consistent routine can help you lose up to 3 kg (6.6lbs) a week
I recommend an eating window from 6am to 10 am, but it is totally up to you!
good luck!

Getting past ‘it’s IBS’ (Xi Chen, Aeon, June 04 2024)
"In the late 1980s, aged 12, Taryn was taken to her doctor’s office with cramping, bloating, and constipation after eating, and was told that she had ‘a nervous stomach’.
As a white girl growing up in New Jersey, she met a stereotype, and when initial bloodwork and imaging was negative for evidence of a ‘real’, or organic disease in her gut, one of Taryn’s doctors began writing in her charts that she had irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), a misdiagnosis that would follow Taryn for life.
At the time, IBS was considered by many to be a medically unexplained and therefore controversial illness, keeping company with conditions such as fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome.
As a result, it carried the stigma of being a psychosomatic illness, caused primarily by stress and anxiety, and Taryn was sent home with prescriptions for diet and exercise. (…)
Today, unlike in the 1990s, it is well established that conditions like IBS, collectively known as disorders of gut-brain interaction (DGBIs), are real diseases that disrupt the communication between the nervous system of the brain and spine, and the nervous system of the intestines.
First mentioned in the book The Irritable Gut (1979) by the gastroenterologist W Grant Thompson, the conditions were labelled ‘functional’ disorders – characterised not by structural damage to the hardware of the gut, but by a glitch in its ‘software’, in other words, its nervous system, charged with processing, receiving or relaying information coming in or going out.
Software is not as easily observed as hardware, however, and much of academic medicine views the mind and the body as two separate and distinct entities, a viewpoint called mind-body dualism.
Over time, and despite the more nuanced meaning intended by Thompson, the term ‘functional’ became associated exclusively with disorders of the mind.
This is part of the reason why there is still stigma against conditions like IBS, and why attempts to establish diagnostic criteria for IBS in particular suffered from vagueness. (…)
When academics read that IBS patients have higher rates of anxiety and depression, or that antidepressants are a treatment for IBS, many assume that this is because psychiatric symptoms cause symptoms of IBS without considering the inverse, that chronic undiagnosed abdominal pain predisposes patients to having mood disorders.
The real reason these drugs are effective, however, is that, in utero, the precursor cells for our gut and our brain actually share the same nervous system, and only later separate in embryonic development.
As a result, the two nervous systems utilise the same neurotransmitters, such as serotonin, to send messages between neurons.
This is why we sometimes feel butterflies in our stomach when we’re nervous, and why stress and anxiety often worsen symptoms of IBS, but do not necessarily cause it.
As Brown’s quote above implies, the stereotype of the anxious patient in pain applies not only to IBS but all patients who present to clinics with vague abdominal distress (including those with non-gastrointestinal conditions like endometriosis, who experience delayed diagnosis because providers take women’s pain less seriously than men’s).
A classic example is peptic ulcer disease, a cause of severe abdominal pain that for decades was denounced as a psychosomatic illness until Barry Marshall and Robin Warren discovered in 1983 that it was caused by a species of bacteria.
Before their findings, peptic ulcers were managed with diet and, frequently, surgery, when what patients needed were antibiotics. (…)
In my opinion, the root of the problem is medical education itself.
Unless a medical trainee becomes a gastroenterologist, it is unlikely that they will receive any specialised education in IBS, let alone the history of IBS research proving it to be an organic condition, despite 40 per cent of the general population having functional gastrointestinal disorders.
Partly, this is because a majority of medical education in countries including the US, the UK and Canada takes place in academic centres associated with hospitals, where medical students will probably never encounter a patient for whom their IBS symptoms are the primary reason for them appearing in the emergency room, and especially not for their admission to the hospital itself.
As a consequence, medical students also don’t get their knowledge of IBS tested by board examinations.
This speaks to the fact that, echoing Osler, IBS generally doesn’t kill patients, and our current healthcare system values measures of mortality and cure in response to acute complaints more than quality of life and the management of suffering from chronic issues such as IBS.
The same could be said about long COVID (which, to this day, is sometimes challenged as illegitimate) and chronic fatigue syndrome, where sufferers are often sent off to a psychiatrist for care.
The thinking is that these ongoing problems, where there is no mainstream route for testing and treatment, are not as important for medical students to know about compared with, say, a patient crashing after a cardiac arrest, even though most of the global disease burden across the developed and the developing world is caused by chronic, not acute, illness. (…)
These demographic patterns don’t explain who really has the disease – they just reveal medical and social bias and entrenched stereotypes: women are perceived as hysterical and diagnosis-seeking, while men are stoic and avoidant, for instance; or white women are thought to tolerate less pain than people of colour.
None of this, in reality, is true – but it is part of the reason why so many patients assume that what they suffer from won’t be justified by the presence of organic disease and therefore doesn’t warrant a doctor’s visit in the first place.
Such patients, treated so poorly within the medical mainstream, now have a community and identity of their own in the Wild West of alternative medicine that flourishes online.
Such groups, seeking to empower themselves and especially hoping to get well, today stand at loggerheads with the practices and physicians they have left behind.
Some accuse their former doctors of gaslighting them, and they deserve to be heard.
Much of what I have discussed regarding misdiagnoses of IBS assumes that healthcare providers, even when in error, always have good intentions and are sincere about using the diagnosis to clarify the patient’s medical case.
There were several elements of Taryn’s story, however, and in my own experiences of how DGBIs are taught in medical school, that make it difficult for me to believe that this assumption holds in most doctor visits.
Although one could argue that the blasé diagnoses of IBS and disordered eating for Taryn could be down to simple carelessness and negligence, honest errors, or someone being ‘just a bad doctor’, it’s obvious to me that a pattern was developing with Taryn’s interactions with different providers who weren’t taking her lived experience itself seriously, just as I had stopped taking my own experiences seriously.
What holds our stories together, I believe, is this phenomenon where both of our perceptions of our own ability to know what’s true or not were put into question."

similar to constipated anon, I also discovered I was lactose intolerante at 22, i'm 33 now. I always had a super bloated belly and a hard time going to the bathroom, but I just thought it was normal and that I was fat (it was a big complex because i looked pregnant all the time, plus it was hard moving and somewhat breathing from the pressure). All my life until then I was drinking milk everyday, eating yogurts multiple time a day, butter and cheese. Until I started to starve myself to lose weight ( I survived on small amounts of juice and a salad a day. it was very bad). When I started eating normal after losing the weight I wanted, I started having stomach pains and discover intolerance to lactose by pure luck. The pain was because I was eating yogurts, milk and cheese again. Apparently I had been intolerante since birth, my mom just knew I needed a different formula when I was a baby not the reason. Having to change my whole diet was a nightmare, there is lactose in everything and I hate reading labels. So sometimes I would just say fuck it(still do) because the effects aren't immediate, more of a accumulative thing, unless I actually exaggerate. Fortunately there are lactase enzymes pill/capsule, that helps a lot. There are also more variety of tradicional milks and yogurts without lactose where I live, because I can not drink soy milk and company.
So yeah it sucks, but the change is worth it if it makes us feel better.
Lactose intolerant anon - (i guess) PS: sorry for the long message
okay let us all collectively pretend that this is on anon 🤫🫡
istg every single person who i've met that is lactose intolerant will without fail have their 'eat now regret later :D' moments ASKFJHSDGD i'm glad that you managed to figure out what the issue is and what kind of diet works for you though!! we are all for loving ✊ our ✊ bodies ✊ in ✊ this ✊ household ✊

Y/N had been feeling sick for weeks. And it got so bad that he had thrown up in the middle of stopping an armed robbery. Barry had him go see Caitlin and see what she could tell them about Y/N's unusual sickness that he's been experiencing. She ran some tests and when she finally had the results, they were shocking. "Well, according to my tests, Y/N, is pregnant. Surprise!"
Y/N and Barry had looked at her in shock. "Excuse me?!"
"I don't mean literally pregnant. I mean sympathetic pregnancy. Which is when the husband or male develops pregnancy symptoms of his partner or wife. And in this case, Iris."
"Wait, Caitlin, are you saying that Y/N is experiencing Iris' pregnancy symptoms?" Barry asked her.
"Precisely. Constipation, gas, bloating, irritability, weight gain, and nausea are all symptoms that Y/N could be experiencing. And since it was his sperm that was insinuated into Iris, he must have a strong connection to the baby. Or in this case, Nora."
"Are you saying that Nora's the reason I feel sick all day, eat like crazy and why my chest feels so sore?" Y/N asked her.
Caitlin nods as Y/N groans and holds his stomach. Barry rubs his back. "You okay? Gonna throw up?"
"No. I think Nora must be hungry. Because I have a strong craving for large chilli cheese fries and a gallon of cookie dough ice cream."

BTS Park Jimin 2023 - 2024 Reading
Tumblr media
This is what I can pick up from Jimin for his 2023 - 2024 year.
Health
Jimin's mental health for this period is like a swinging pendulum. Some days he's doing great. Other days he's suffering a lot with depressing/negative thoughts like about his looks/future etc. While he has tried to seek help, I am sensing that he doesn't find the help to be very useful and feels that counselling/therapy is a waste of his time. Perhaps he hasn't met the right therapist/counsellor for him or is scared that they will leak information about him, but it is best that he continue to seek help.
Jimin often feels very insecure about his future and about himself. This unfortunately makes him very anxious at times and also can make him jealous of those around him who seem to have it better/easier than him. He has a habit of comparing himself with others and forgetting about his own achievements. Jimin's constant comparing makes his mental health suffer too as he frequently feels he's not good enough or will never be enough.
Jimin's physical health is improving a bit as he is more focused on exercising and diet. However, his desire to maintain a certain look/weight can be unhealthy when taken to the extreme. He can be prone to overexercising, leading to injuries or a loss of weight that's too much for him. He can also resort to extreme dieting, especially during promotions.
Jimin's heart is on the weak side, so he may be prone to heart problems/blood circulation issues when he is older. Jimin is also prone to osteoporsis so it's important for him to intake calcium etc. Jimin's skin is starting to be more sensitive and his body is also becoming more sensitive to different types of food. He may develop some food allergies or intolerance of some types of food in the near future like potentially lactose products or gluten.
Jimin's digestive system is also weak. He often is constipated and bloated. It's no surprise that he had acute appendictis in the past. If he eats the wrong types of food like ones that are hard to digest for him/triggers his intestines or stomach, he will feel a lot of aching around his abdomen. He may also experience bladder urgency due to triggering food. He should avoid eating medicine without intaking food and definitely should not mix alcohol or take medicine with tea/coffee/alcohol etc. He's more prone to getting stomach/intestine/digestion related problems than the other members.
Family
During this period, there will be some tension between Jimin and his brother. For some reason they will likely have a lot of misunderstandings and miscommunication. There's an aspect of broken telephone at play. Jimin will feel that his parents side with his brother, while his brother will feel that Jimin needs to grow up/mature. The siblings may grow distant during this time.
Jimin may also experience some health problem within the family/some sort of unfortunate event related to a family member. It is possible for him to take some time off to spend time with family.
There may also be a wedding coming up within his extended family, which he's likely to attend.
Other
Jimin will run into some difficulties with his management company/executives/staff. He will feel pulled in many directions from now till 2024. Some things are not by his choice or were not done with his consent. He will often feel that his voice isn't being heard at work and at times he will feel like he is only a puppet of this company. He may feel the urge to break this contract earlier or not renew the contract. However, as of now, he is fearful of the repercussions of breaking the contract earlier and is really worried about not renewing the contract. The last time he renewed he felt very, very pressured by the management company to renew and also by fans and the media. While he appreciates being in BTS, he is not sure whether the concept of a group can be forever. He doesn't want to be forever known as BTS' Jimin. He wants to try to pave his own road and see what his own endeavors will take him.
In a way, Jimin feels rather caged by the name "BTS". He feels he is only defined by BTS, and whatever he does is in the name of BTS, not Park Jimin. It's as if whatever achievement that he has so far is because he's BTS' Jimin, not Park Jimin. Jimin is not as close to the members as before. In fact all of them have sort of gone their own separate paths.
Jimin is worried that what the management company has promised him will not actually happen. While he is happy that he had his solo, he feels that there were many things that could have been done better. He cant' help but compare himself with the other members and compare what the company has provided to the other members versus to him. As of now Jimin doesn't feel like he's getting entirely what he signed up for after the group renewed. He doesn't feel entirely appreciated by the company too and he doesn't have the confidence that he is headed in the right direction for his solo career. He is extremely worried that eventually he will be replaced by younger idols and will also be forgotten when he enters the military.

Packs on the Pounds -
Fast food is convenient and cheap, but you pay a bigger price in the long run. Those burgers, fries, and shakes usually have more fat, calories, and highly processed carbs than your body needs in one meal. This can quickly lead to weight gain and obesity if you eat it often.
2/13
Harms Your Heart
Sodium makes fast food taste better and keeps it from spoiling. But just one bacon cheeseburger can contain your recommended daily value for sodium. That’s the amount of a nutrient experts suggest getting every day. Too much sodium raises your blood pressure and damages your blood vessels. It also raises your risk for heart failure, heart attack, and stroke.
3/13
Spikes Blood Sugar
Bagels, buns, and breaded foods are high in processed carbs your body breaks down into sugar. As blood sugar levels rise, your body pumps out insulin to level things out. Over time, these constant sugar spikes can wear out your pancreas (the organ that makes insulin). This keeps blood sugar levels high, triggering type 2 diabetes.
4/13
Opens the Door to Digestive Issues
Fast food may taste good, but you may not feel well once it hits your system. High-sodium foods (fries, anyone?) can temporarily trigger bloat. Couple that with low amounts of dietary fiber, and your digestive tract gets backed up. This can lead to constipation that puts you at risk for hemorrhoids, hernias, and diverticulitis.
5/13
Affects Your Mood
What you eat and drink can impact how you feel mentally and physically. Fast food lacks the vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients your body needs to boost your mood. Research suggests fast and processed foods you buy at the store may be linked to a higher risk of depression.
6/13
Makes You Tired
When a bunch of processed carbs hit your system, your blood sugar rises quickly, then drops just as fast. This can make you feel tired. If you grab a sugary coffee drink to wake up, the cycle starts all over again.
7/13
Could Impact Your Fertility
Phthalates, synthetic chemicals that dissolve materials and make plastics durable, are in everything from toys to fast food. Recent studies have linked phthalates with fertility issues and higher risks of learning and behavioral disorders in children.
8/13
Changes Your Bathroom Habits
Because it’s highly processed, fast food -- especially the kind that’s fried or creamy -- can be hard to digest. If your body can’t break it down, it lands in your colon and turns into fatty acids that spark diarrhea.
9/13
Invites Dental Disease
The high levels of carbs and sugar in fast food, including sodas, raises the amount of acids in your mouth. These wear down the enamel on your teeth and boosts your risk of cavities, tooth decay, and gum disease.
10/13
Wears Out Your Bones and Joints
Excess weight and obesity caused by fast food puts extra pressure on your joints, especially your hips and knees. This makes you more likely to get fractures in the bones around your joints.
11/13
Raises Your Risk for Respiratory Issues
One fried chicken dinner won’t affect the way you breathe. But too much fast food can lead to extra weight that increases your risk of asthma, especially in women. More research is needed to know exactly why, but early studies show that fat tissue leads to inflammation that may affect your lungs.
12/13
Causes Skin Outbreaks
Fast food is full of ingredients that don’t play well with your skin. Sugar can lower collagen levels and lead to signs of early aging, like wrinkles. Salt drains moisture from your skin, but it helps your body keep the water that causes bags under your eyes. High amounts of saturated fats trigger hormones that play a role in acne.
13/13
Affects Your Memory
Experts think saturated and trans fats tell your body to make plaques in the brain. These cause dementia and raise your risk of Alzheimer’s disease three times more than those who don’t eat fast food.

Uhh, 21 with mirror
“Can anything reach you, from the other side?” Letters asks. They do an excellent job of miming eating - Lord de Rolo had a platter of various metals brought, and when not looking quite constipated he’d watch with great intrigue. The aluminum had been an exceptional treat, apparently.
“Not really,” says Laudna; “Yes,” says Lord de Rolo; “Only bits and pieces - the ones that reach you,” says Lady Vex’ahlia.
Laudna is startled out of her malaise. “Wait, what?”
“Did you hear anything, Laud?” Imogen murmurs.
“Oh, I don’t think - not much, given the -” stops. “She -” stops. Her hands draw through her hair and snag on the poppies, give her something to cling to. “I think - something about these.”
“So not me?” FCG mourns, and Imogen - Imogen - Imogen clings to Laudna’s hand, because Laudna needs to be held, needs to be clung to, needs the support, but maybe she wants to slap him and she can’t slap ‘em and it’s better to just cling.
(It breaks, a little. Hurt, hurt, pity, confusion, sharp smell of death, unease, enough hurt she can pretend it’s not coming from inside the house.)
In the wineglass she finds a mirror. She fishes out herself drowning in it - bloated, with bags under her eyes, cast in the red light of the moon.
(Poppies, so many poppies, enough red to hide black ichor and with all the green it almost looks like a flower arrangement, except it’s a half-elf and this must be Orym because there’s so much grief to it and Imogen feels sick and Imogen is sick and Imogen shouldn’t be here-)
Lady Vex’ahlia looks understanding, lowering her napkin. “Sometimes… some pleas just don’t go through.”
Lord de Rolo does not outwardly react - just as stiff as the stick up his ass would imply.
(Darkness, worse than darkness, raven’s feathers. Leaf-green glass laid to rest in smear of necrotic energy. It breaks, dull. She hears it like a chandelier. Sees his face, younger, stricken, held within it. Shoved away. Too fast - shards cling to his palm. He just stares.)
(Overlaid: Percy? Did you - Yes. Yes. Yes.)
“Imogen?”
“Sorry - ‘m sorry.” She lets go of Laudna’s hand. Without the anchor it rattles. Get it together, damn girl.
[Send me an ask with a number and a word and I'll share/write a snippet from the random AU that corresponds to it!]

Our gut and brain are in constant communication, and stress can seriously disrupt this conversation. When we're stressed, our body goes into 'fight or flight' mode, which can lead to all sorts of digestive discomfort. 😰🥊
Stress can slow down digestion, leading to bloating, pain, and constipation. It can also speed it up, causing diarrhea or frequent trips to the bathroom. 🚽⏱️
But that's not all. Chronic stress can even change the balance of bacteria in our gut! This can impact our immune system, mood, and overall health. 😷🦠
So, what can we do about it? 🤔
First, recognize the connection. Your gut health and mental health are intertwined, so taking care of one can help the other. 🔄💕
Second, find stress management techniques that work for you. This could be anything from yoga and meditation to reading a book or taking a walk in nature. 🧘‍♀️📚🌳
Lastly, consider your diet. Eating a variety of nutrient-rich foods can help support your gut health and manage stress. 🥦🍎🥕

Had to force feed Maya again and just wanted to show how I do it (she's fine now).
what happened?
I noticed the last time she ate was in the morning, she's just laying or sitting around and she refused treats -> my test to see if something is wrong, since they always take treats even if they are lazy
her body felt a bit shaky
she held her head up as if she was focusing on something. For better / controlled breathing? to act as if she's fine? (buns hide illnesses) she behaved unusual
feeling her belly it was soft, no cramping but her stomach felt empty
(hard belly and cramping are signs of constipation somewhere in their digestive system -> don't force feed !!!)
why is not eating bad for buns?
their digestive system stops moving if they stop eating for too long
the stuff in their stomach starts building gases which makes them bloating up (rabbits can't fart or burp so that's gonna be painful at minimum or turn critical)
they start feeling sick (which makes them even less motivated to eat), their body temperature goes lower, their immune system shuts down at some point
they die from it if it's not getting fixed (don't know why nature invented such a dumb system)
common causes I had with all my buns over the years
too much fur ingested due to fur changing season (clogged system -> don't force feed!!!)
did eat too much too fast (clogged system -> don't force feed!!!)
didn't eat enough (stomach starts bloating, bun feels sick and too uncomfy to eat)
tooth spikes when their teeth grow (as they constantly do) in wrong directions (force feeding is good here but teeth have to get fixed by a vet)
didn't drink enough on a hot day -> dehydration (bun feels sick and too uncomfy to eat, stomach starts bloating)
some illness or meds side effect that causes dizziness or nausea (bun feels sick and too uncomfy to eat, stomach starts bloating)
-> but I think Maya was dehydrated cause today was very hot and she's currently taking heart meds that can cause nausea and loss of appetite.
Tho she was obviously hungry / thirsty as you can see in the video. She's more or less taking the food willingly. If she hates it (like meds...) she fights back more and takes forever to swallow too. Sometimes she or Caramel lets it drip out of their mouth. But she still refused to eat the mash on her own. It's special hay & herbs powder mix + water for force feeding sick animals (sometimes I mix it with lukewarm herbal tea). The stuff in the syringe is the same just with more water to get it in.
+ I gave her some meds that eliminates the bloating and bubbling in the stomach. I had some from the vet still. But there are meds for human babies that I get usually: Sab Simplex. It works the same and you can't overdose that one. It will not cause any side effects and just leaves the body on the natural way if it's too much (tho 1ml per 1kg bun is enough).
Usually the whole treatment has to be repeated every 2h till the bun is fine again.
The way I am holding her:
it's working damn good with all my buns. I found that technique in a yt video years ago. Basically holding the upper body up, shielding their bum with your elbow and body so they can't escape backwards. And if the bun turns their head away you can stop them with your shoulder or the fingers of the holding hand. The syringe / whatever feeding tool you have needs to go inside their mouth behind their front teeth if they are unwilling to take it. If they are willing they might drink it normally from the front. You gotta give them small doses with breaks, time to swallow and to calm down too.
Oh and it's very helpful to put them on places (table, chair) that is unfamiliar to them, so they are more cautious to move fast. And they need something under their feet that makes them not slip away.
At the end I was checking her belly again to make sure it's still soft and not hard. Soft is good~ And massaging their belly helps with restarting the movement in there.
-----------------
In this case today she basically just needed a jump start to eat & drink again. I gave her like 3 syringes full till she voiced discomfort (chattering of teeth). Right after the treatment she started eating on her own. She's fine now, is more agile again and even takes treats again.
[This is all based on my own experiences and what I learned from vets over the years. Don't do any of this if you are not sure and are inexperienced -> go to a vet then]
