Jason: I have a bone to pick with you
Bruce, just happy to talk to his estranged son: sure, what’s going on?
Jason, pulling out an entire femur: I stole this evidence from a crime scene. I need help with a case
Duke: hey B I have a bone to pick with you really quick
Bruce, on the verge of tears: please don’t.
Duke: I? just have a question?

Keir Gilchrist is a talented actor who also happens to be in a grindcore band AND a death metal band, and no one ever talks about it :(

I like being around people who understand when I stop in place because I need a brain reset.

When I think of the word
overwhelm
I think about the joke:
if there’s overwhelm
and there’s underwhelm
why is there not just a whelm?

I so desperately want to book bind again, my own fic specifically because (1) the only permission I would need is my own (2) I don't feel like i've ruined or done a disservice if I fuck it up and (3) holding a physical weighty book in your hands that you wrote is very good for the brain no matter what size and I highly recommend it for my fellow writers
That being said I would want a cool looking cover but idk if I would use something I've already drawn or draw something new. I have ideas but none of them are like, clicking

To which there is
just a whelm -
it is both a verb
(engulf, submerge or bury)
and a noun

Princely whelmed au
Bruce: where's my son, knight.
Wally, point at the celling: up there?
Bruce, in fear: you let him die!?
Wally, confused: what? No! He's playing with the Chandler, why was that your first thought!?
Bruce, delt with Dick playing dead to get out of royal duties and stuff: he's... Very creative getting out of things.
Wally: uh-huh...
Dick: Wally, catch me! *Falls*
Bruce, in fear:
Wally, catches him with ease: enough for today or do you want to go outside of climb the trees?
Dick, getting put down: tomorrow, it's lunch time, let's go! Bye dad! See you at The meeting in a few hours!*Drag Wally with him*
Wally, a new knight: am I even allowed to eat with you?
Dick: if I say so, you are, so you are!
Wally: okay... I totally ain't gonna get teased in the barracks for this.
Bruce:
Bruce: Alfred, send a letter to head knight Allen his nephew did the impossible and I would like to shake his and his wife hand. Kid a miracle worker!
Alfred: of course, sir. I'll get it started right away.

We started rewatching Young Justice recently and all of the "sidekicks" were upset at being treated like children and being kept in the dark and not having access to information and i just?? I don't think Batman would believe in withholding information from Robin
Dick gets into everything everywhere all of the time there is no peace or privacy from him. And Bruce has never dealt with children before how is he supposed to know whats 'appropriate' for a child to know or have access to.
Speedy: it's such bs that they don't trust us with information
Robin: haha what?
Green Arrow: It's hard keeping information from my partner/subordinate but it's for his own good. He's a child and he can't be trusted with that sort of power yet. Do you struggle with Robin wanting access to information he doesn't have the clearance for?
Batman, who's never kept a single secret from Dick and couldn't if he tried: um. yeah. absolutely.
