( not me having an au for an au, wtf. i just imagined the following: ascended astarion and "vampire bride/husband" tav living together, somewhat happy I guess, tav too in love to even imagine questioning what astarion does ( you don't need some vampire magic to work, that mf is manipulative as nine hells ), but one day some spawn brings in another victim and boom, everything changes. they're vocal, rebellious ( so to say ) and even though they have to be obedient they test every boundary. it's amusing for astarion at first, reminding of himself and in the beginning the attention they receive from him makes you jealous in some way (which entertains astarion also). That is until you realize you aren't jealous because of love, attention or whatever you may call it. It's because that spawn is still fighting and seeing the wrongs in his doing, something you stopped caring about a long time ago, something you lost about yourself, despite being a mf hero, the one who always did good, sometimes not even intentional. And you see them and are confronted with your lack of interference, you've turned a blind eye cuz you seek love where there is none — and then you make a dangerous yet necessary decision: this has to end. You've got a few advantages compared to a mere spawn, but it's not much — you've to rely on your experience with a man you once loved ( and miss dearly now that you've finally opened your eyes ). you work with the spawn and you may or may not find in them what you miss in astarion, probably seeing parallels everywhere (which could also be so problematic and an interesting dynamic??) but as much as I love angst and sads, I hope there are consensual smooches in the end :)) )

I really love the scarecrow request! I love how you write him and he's so underrated:(
Could you write HC for him with a fem s/o who is the manifestation of fear, like the literal embodiment of fear? Idk what versions of scarecrow do you write but if you could, could it be the batman animation series 👉👈?
(btw you seem like a sweet person (◍•ᴗ•◍)✧*。) -🩷
💀Scarecrow X Reader that Is the manifestation of fear 🎃
Hey Anon ? !! So glad ur requesting scsrecrow, defo my baby girl and my fave guy to write about. BTAS is my speciality, though I do write for any (I’m bias for BTAS)
I had many different ideas for this, I wasn’t sure if you wanted reader to be an entity or kinda like a person?? Kinda? So I played around w it! Thank you for calling me sweet btw!!! Ur so sweet :3

Since his childhood, love has never been Jonathan's forte. If it wasn’t fear, Jonathan never cared for human emotions. He’d grown content with the idea of living a life alone, after all, it’s what one expects with the path he’s taken… But then of course, there you. You’re a god/goddess to him, to put it blankley. Everything he’s devoted his life to, obsessed over.. has manifested.
Might be a bit… proddy, initially. Your existance is very much an anomaly, even in a place like Gotham city. He’d never do anything to intentionally harm you, though maybe he gets more personal than comfort.
You’re fear incarnate? How can you prove it to him? He’d love to see, though, he’d perfer if it wasn’t on him. The idea of you being so willing to show him such an ability is enthralling after all! He is the master of fear, so it’s only fit that he has such an honor.
He’d never get over having a lover like you. He has the mindset that he’ll never let you go till death do you both part (if you can even die, that is). Expect him to push a wedding, the venue a grandeur gas attack across the streets of Gotham. You have to, need to be his mistress of fear. He won’t have anything less.
He wants you by his side consistantly, for a multitude of reasons, though the greatest being that he’s grown an insane attachment and almost obsession with your being. Even in Arkham asylum, his mind races of ways to stay in contact with you (though it’s most likely you have the ability to easily assist in his escape).
Your wish is his goons command. He’s not a kind man to his goons, seeing them as no more than fools who live to serve him out of fear. Of course, his goons are now your goons, and if they dare even question this shift in authority, they’ve earned a spot as his newest test subject.
Very, very affectionate to his goddess! Think of it as a morticia and Gomez dynamic. There’s no shame, at least to him, in showing his wonderful, transcendent partner off for the world to see as he tears it apart. Constant affection, always on his hand and foot for you, it’s quite a suprise. He can be.. rather grumpy at best, kinda pathetic at most, so it’s a stark change emotionally.
(Might cling to you for protection 80% of the time). If he’s vulnerable, close to being apprehended, no fear gas, etc… he’s probably going to run to you like a scared puppy. He is nowhere near fit to really defend himself, physically at most. He returns the favor in tenfold when he can, however.
I COULDNT think of how to end this I’m ngl

thoughts on that Wednesday Addams show
-the writing is incredibly juvenile in a way only an adult man who is not actually nor ever has been an "outcast" could accomplish
-that being said all the actors were really amazing! Especially Jenna Ortega!!!
-One thing I liked but felt was more by accident than by design was the way that this school of "outcasts" were like, really normal?? Like theyre just teenagers who happen to not be human. Which makes the fact that Wednesday is a human who's Not Normal kind of compelling. Wish this was an intentional idea though, it could've been played with a whole lot more.... also i just kinda wish they'd picked a word other than "outcasts" to call them. like oh my god i could absolutely see some line during the climax where theres all this petty teen drama where someones like "i might not be human, but at least im not a Monster like you Wednesday" woulda been AWESOME
-Wednesday's love triangle was lame and if she had to get with a guy I'd've preferred Eugene. I love his sibling relationship with wednesday sooo much. One of my favorite dynamics. However if she HAD to get with a guy. Id pick him. He reminds me of Joel from Addams Family Values.
-the fact that two guys fell wildly in love with Wednesday without her doing absolutely anything and also very clearly not returning the sentiment whatsoever and instead just using them whenever she needs them was really funny and on brand, wished the show had been self aware about it
-I really wish the other female characters played bigger roles? Like Enid was Great and I loved the glimpses of her friendship with Wednesday and Thing and their HUG omg,,, I wish the romance plots had been axed in favor of giving Wednesday's friendships more time to shine.
-I also wish Enid and Wednesday had danced together at the Rave'N. Enid goes and dances with all her friends but she never goes over to have fun with Wednesday :( it just felt wrong like, narratively, we saw how excited Enid was about Wednesday going to the dance and then the camera seems to cut to show Enid get excited from watching Wednesday dance and then they dont even Talk?? I hated that.
-also, Bianca. I really loved the way she was basically friends with Wednesday by the end of the show. Wish the show had done a better job at the Enemies to Friendly Rivals to Friends dynamic. Bianca in general is a REALLY cool character that I want more time with.
-Both Enid and Bianca would've made better love interests than the guys imo
-I did like the mysteries, though I'm not sure how well it actually works with the Addams. Because they wound up adding this plot line, no spoilers, about Gomez being accused of murder and Morticia gets super touchy about it. But like?? theyre the ADDAMS why would they be behaving like this about a death???? Makes no sense to me. Needed to be reworked, cuz there definitely are Ways to have made it work imo.
-I really loved all of the costuming for Wednesday though the color correction done on the uniforms makes me kinda sad. i think it would've been fun if the school had been more vibrant and full of life to better contrast who Wednesday is and how she stands out.
-Wednesday's relationship with Morticia is really weird, but in general I get the feeling that certain people involved didn't actually know what Morticia's character was like... at all? And a lot of the problems with the family dynamics stems from this mischaracterization of Morticia in particular. I know some people didn't like Wednesday going through a rebellious phase, but I actually think that fit her character just fine, it's how her parents react to this rebellion that feels out of character to me.
-the fact that they had a romance arc about a werewolf who struggled to be a werewolf and an awkward gorgon..... Very Monster High 2022 to me ngl
-Wednesday is Autistic and you can't convince me otherwise. Everything from the way all of her social interactions are written to the way she literally diverts eye contact whenever theres a closeup shot while she talks to people. shes just like me fr.
overall i give it a 6 out of 10. I wouldn't go around recommending it to people, it's kinda bad, but I got some enjoyment out of it,, so not fully the worst.
But Also if you haven't seen it I WOULD recommend you go watch the fanmade Adult Wednesday Addams series on youtube. It's a classic!

Ad I always say (because honestly sometimes I don't know if I can interpret your wishes as I should) I don't know if it's what you wanted...but I hope so because I loved writing it! Thanks for sending the ask, I missed my Addams reader so muchhh!!

Babysitting Pubert on a friday 13th by far wasn't what Y/N Addams would like to do, but the presence of her Dream did make things better. Her parents planned a romantic night at the family's cemetery ages ago and sent Pugsley, Wednesday and uncle Fester to an incredible expedition in Salem. When the babysitter bailed on them it was up for Y/N to stay with her baby brother, since leaving a baby with Grandmama Addams is like asking for trouble.
"Should we read a story for him?" Morpheus was absolutely amazed by Pubert, the young Addams was not a normal baby and yet it was still adorable.
"Only at his bedtime. Shall we do Coraline tonight, dear brother?" he was too young to answer, but his excitement was clear. Her beloved, on another hand, looked confused.
"Is that book appropriate for his age?"
"You do not expect me to read Snow White to him, do you?" without looking at him Y/N walked around her brother's bedroom putting his toys away. "How unfair that Pubert is barely one year and already have his own guillotine and I had to build my own from scratch."
"Well, aren't you the one that always says that easy is boring?"
"Oh, yes. It is boring. When we have ours we should do the same, let her do it. It is very satisfactory to do so." Y/N didn't notice the way Morpheus froze when she said it. "Pubert, darling, can you say Y/N for me? Surely your first word has to be your favorite sister's name. Y/N, c'mon, it's not so hard." while she tried to make her brother say her name, Dream finally came back to his senses and walked towards them. "Y/N. Y….N."
"Y…" the Addams girl was too absorbed in Pubert almost doing it to notice the change in her Dream.
"...N. Y/N." she smiled at his tentatives. "Think about how devastated our parents will be knowing your first word was my name. It would also stake my claim as your favorite, it would destroy Wednesday and Pugsley."
"Ours?" Morpheus' voice was almost as loud as a whisper.
"Excuse me?"
"You said when we have ours."
"Oh, yes, I did. Do you have any issues with guillotine? We all grew up around it, axes, knives…Well, you know. We're Addams, it's expected."
"That is…not the issue."
"And what would it be?"
"There is no issue. It is just…you thought of it? Having children with me?" he sounded almost afraid of the answer. They had talked about Orpheus and Dream's story with him and his ex-wife Calliope. Y/N knew that he wasn't the best father to his son and how he was afraid of being the same with another kid, but she also knew how much he loved children and that deep down he wanted to have his own.
"We are married and I live in the Dreaming with you. You and I are building a life together, of course I thought of having children with you. They shall be the palest kids the Waking World has ever seen." her smile was enough to calm his nerves. Yes, he did want children with her, as many as she would want to. Morpheus could almost picture them running around their realm bringing joy to their lives.
"You wish for a daughter?"
"It must be a daughter first. Us Addams girls are tough and protective, the oldest have to be a girl."
"If I am correct, my sweet Nightmare, it is not something you can choose." now he was the one smiling, his hands on her hips.
"Please, my Dream, I'm Y/N Addams."
"Y/N!" Pubert said laughing, clapping his hand.
"Yes!! Y/N! Your favorite!" she picked Pubert up from the ground. "Just like you are my favorite too. I shall tell you all the weaknesses of our siblings so you can use it against them."
"Perhaps we should have only one."
"And deprive our child to have such a bond with her siblings? We could never." while Pubert kept repeating Y/N's name happily, as it was the only word he knew, she put him in his bed and sat at the end of it holding the book.
"You are right, we could never." he watched as she read Coraline to Pubert, making it sound way more terrifying than it actually was but the child still loved every second of it. Morpheus couldn't wait for them to be able to do it with their kid…daughter, because he knew her too much to know that if anyone could have what they wanted it was her. After all this time he had a change of a second life, it wasn't about replacing Orpheus but not being the terrible person he once was. This time he would be a better husband and a better father.
"Let's rest, my Dream." seeing that Pubert was now sleeping, Y/N took his hand and led him towards her old room. "I am exhausted and ready to go home, even if it is only by sleeping at the moment."
"I shall be with you every second tonight, my sweet nightmare. And tomorrow we go to our home."
"As you wish, my king." the night at the Waking World ended with a kiss, but at the Dreaming it was only the beginning of a night full of love. Perhaps there would be another Addams running around very soon.

Hi! I want to ask what you like about Martha Dracula.
Personally, I hate how she had no purpose other than die to make Drac sad. We didnt see any of her personality so her death feels far less impactful than say, Bambis mom, and I hate the concept of zing/love at first sight trope" because the idea you will immediately know who you are supposed to be with forever based on immediate attraction sends a harmful message to kids and erases aromatic and polyamorous people and ppl who break off romantic relationships but are happier off that way.
I do wish we got to know more about Martha beyond the tragedy of her death and her book about Mavis finding her own zing, but I can kinda understand it as...the story's more about Drac, Johnny and Mavis and there were alot of other things to focus on. We do have SOME window into her personality and relationship with Drac: Mavis is implied to be similar to her and be the peice of Martha he has left, part of the reason he's so protective of her (With all the talk of Ericka being Martha's reincarnation - basically this universe's Mina to compare to other Dracula adaptations, I kind of think MAVIS is actually closer to that role. At least symbolically, although there are other similarities after having read Dracula Daily.) We hear that Martha is clearly the more bold of the two (similarly to Johnny and Mavis.) There's the legend of her and Drac's love story and family in the "Lady Lubov" legend, Drac's been clearly sitting Shiva for over a century, Her book about zings and how they met when she was Mavis' age, And it's implied Drac and Martha loved making music together as Drac mentions he hasn't sung in public since Martha passed. But as much as I do love the things we got, I wish we'd gotten to see more of Martha, seen her and Drac together and their (Less amorous) Gomez and Morticia type dynamic. Now, there IS a deleted scene on the HT bluray that shows Drac and Martha meeting, their courtship, and them having Mavis which gives more of a glimpse at Drac and Martha together which you may be interested in seeing if you haven't already. Matter of fact, Martha's reveal of her pregnant belly as a bat CLEARLY got reused in HT2 in Mavis' reveal of her own pregnancy.
As for the whole zing business...Yes, like all "Love at first sight" and Soulmate stuff, it does spread some harmful ideas, particularly for aro and ace people (like myself!) My mother had similar issues with it herself when we first watched it (though I don't think she knew about aro identities) Though I can kind of understand why it exists. Social interaction, particularly dating, can be a confusing, difficult, and potentially painful process. And I guess it's nice to imagine that you COULD just know the person you're meant to be with without having to go through all the mess. In the case of the HT films, it's also supposed to be a gothic fairytale Romeo and Juliet kind of story, which Love at first sight and soulmates are common tropes in that. Not to mention the trying to juggle a love story plot, a buddy film, family antics, gags, worldbuilding, (and in HT3, the whole "Monster Genocide" business) doesn't exactly lend itself to slow burns. The zing is a sweet idea, even if it doesn't necessarily work that way in real life.
This got long as I have some feelings about anatonormativity + HT , so here's a read more:
To a certain extent, that's part of what I like about HT3: It challenges the "A Zing only happens once in your life" idea by having Drac find love again. And having him DEAL WITH the "You only zing once" being wrong. Alot of people hated that. Some seek to think him falling for Ericka lessens what he had with Martha or means that he's forgotten about her. That he's cheating on Martha somehow. Some dunked on Ericka saying she was "weird" and "ugly", saying Martha was prettier. Some tried to find explanations like Ericka being Martha's reincarnation. But to me...I mean, we tend to think of love as being "The One," yet people fall in love again and remarry all the time. There doesn't HAVE to be a reason Drac zinged twice. And it resolves an issue the first movie had ABOUT "If a zing only happens once, what about people who fall in love and remarry?" Making it at least a BIT less amatonormative in my opinion. Of course, I'm something of an expert at bending rules and finding less amatonormative interpretations, and they never explicitly state EVERYONE has a zing.
Honestly in some ways the HT films are both amatonormative and anti-amatonormative. You have the whole zing/soulmate business, Drac teasing Dennis about Winnie, the guys setting Drac up on dates despite him saying he's not interested, and the whole "late bloomer" conversion therapy business. Most characters in the show have a partner except the mummy (who's shown dating), Vlad (who's showing off for the witches and talks about Nefrititi) and Blobby (who's more comic relief.)
On the OTHER hand, You not only have a 3 generational Non-nuclear family (with a stepmom, yet!) Living together in the same building in close proximity to eachother, but also a bunch of friends that are basically considered family, and at no point in the franchise does the romantic relationship get put higher than the familial or platonic ones. Heck, half the franchise I'd about the familial relationships. And even in the ones about romance, the familial relationships are a big part of those too. (There's also quite a bit if gray-rose coding with Drac himself looking back at the series - including the fact the man only experienced confirmed romantic attraction TWICE that we know of despite how much of a charmer he's shown to be. He can flirt until he's actually interested, then he can't function around them. There's also possible internalized aphobia that does get touched on, particularly in HT2 with him trying to make Dennis a vampire but then turning around and saving him from Vlad's "scare the fangs" plan and ultimately coming to accept Dennis as he is - which there's parallels between Dennis and his younger self drawn there.) I'll also point out that despite the "love and family over racism, we're all basically the same" message, love isn't treated as what makes one "human" in the series. If ANYTHING, it's bravery and willingness to take risk. Particularly to have fun OR protect others.
So yeah, kind of mixed feelings there as an aroace fan.
PS: I'll warn you about the HT3 junior novelization, there's a scene of VH dismissing Love as if it means nothing to him which...more aphobic than the scene in the film was. Particularly since Van Helsing gives off aroace vibes himself.

So I also posted this to AO3 but since I know people might not follow it there here is the first of the out takes/deleted scenes from "The Continuum Of Self."
First Impressions
Enid wasn't sure what to expect from the Addams' but this certainly wasn't it. No, judging from what Wednesday had said she expected the family to be somewhat distant, maybe even as cold as her own parents, however it seemed farther from the truth.
Enid had come to expect meal times to be quiet unless her mother or one of her brothers brought up a topic. However, with the Addams It seemed like everyone had something to share.
Wednesday brought up some sort of historical fact about avengers that she had been reading about, something that both her parents seemed interested in—and that her grandmother seemed eager to share her knowledge about. Then there was Pugsley who spoke about coding a game—something Gomez offered to help him with—and then there was Morticia who seemed attentive to whatever it was her family was saying.
Enid couldn't keep the bitter emotion that wound its way through her stomach at bay at the warmth they seemed to share. Why did Wednesday complain so much when in reality her family was basically perfect?
"What about you, dear?"
The sudden voice caught her off guard, and made her nearly drop her fork.
"Sorry, I must have spaced out." She said after realizing Morticia wad thing to her.
"Has anything piqued your interest lately? Wednesday mentioned you have a variety of interests."
Enid wasn't sure how to answer that—or take the fact that Wednesday had talked about her—after all, she didn't want to look like an idiot in front of her hosts.
"Tell them about that musical you've been obsessed with."
Wednesday prompted after a while
"I've had the annoying soundtrack stuck in my head thanks to you playing it on repeat during our calls."
Enid felt herself falter slightly, sure she had told Wednesday she wouldn't apologize for being herself but this was Wednesday's family she was talking to. The people who had agreed to let her stay with them for the rest of the summer.
"I doubt they would want…"
"Please, Once for a week mother was humming tunes from My Fair Lady. I highly doubt your pop music infested stage show will scare them."
After dinner Enid was even more surprised by the whole dynamic that seemed to unfurl before her. Gomez and Wednesday took to the sitting room, fencing against each other and even without protective gear Enid could tell that neither was really trying to actively hurt the other.
Then there was Morticia and Pugsley who seemed to prefer to engage in quieter activities although both watched in amusement as the other two sparred.
Enid couldn't help but wince when the blade snapped against Wednesday's side, causing Gomez to stop instantly, although as soon as he did Wednesday knocked the saber from his hand.
"You shouldn't be so sentimental, Father."  She stated, although that didn't keep him from asking if she was alright, something that earned him a dirty look.
It was almost comical, watching Wednesday argue with her father who was fussing over her although he was not deterred at all. Instead it seemed to make him worse.
"Please excuse those two's antics. Come sit, tell us a bit about yourself." Morticia said, fondness obvious in her voice—something that didn't help Enid's bitterness at all.
Why couldn't her family be like this?
"Um… what would you like to know?"
"Anything you wish to let me know."

HELLO, IVE JUST FINISHED WATCHING WEDNESDAY
because i am the biggest dumbest nerd when it comes to the addams family: ive made a crappy list of why wednesday is everything i hoped for and more and why it is absolutely fucking perfect. spoilers.
im not entirely sure on how to start slow with this one so im getting right fucking into it. enjoy reading the disaster of my thoughts on this masterpiece:
AMAZING CASTING. jenna is incredible as wednesday, catherine and luiz are the perfect morticia and gomez, i adored seeing christina ricci KICKING ASS. gwendoline christie was amazing as weems, fred armisen as fester???? lost my shit he was so perfect. i don’t think there was a single cast member i wasn’t amazed with.
no genuinely i loved all of the nevermore students
fell in love w enid so fast omg i was rooting for her so hard her arc was so awesome (her and ajax are so cute too)
rip rowan you would’ve loved wenclair
THING!!!: its not the addams family without thing, and its especially not the addams family if thing isn’t being a little shit stirrer the whole time. perfect beautiful i love him A++
THE WEDNESDAY/PUGSLEY DYNAMIC WAS SO ON POINT they literally have the actual best sibling dynamic
i now know that you have not lived until you’ve seen wednesday addams stuck in a love triangle. she is not a character that you would expect to have a romantic interest but now in my mind she’s just beautifully a-spec and probably demiromantic. yes obviously i love xavier.
don’t get mad at me but i don’t ship her w enid that much?? at least not romantically but hey i would not complain if we had a polycule or qpr!!!
also it was genuinely so cute to see wednesday making friends like. why was i sobbing so much when she hugged enid. holy fuck.
THE DANCE SCENE. SHES AN ICON SHES A LEGEND AND SHE IS THE MOMENT
i am referring to both her actual dancing and ofc “they couldn’t even spring for real pigs blood. its only paint.” so real.
cant even stop myself from mentioning that jenna ortega looks very hot covered in blood which happens a lot in this series. like almost every episode. jesus fucking christ i am so in love with her.
i am a huge edgar allen poe nerd so i fucking adored every little reference to his works. also the idea that he was an outcast is so real to me.
speaking of outcasts: ngl definitely could’ve come up with a better name, “outcasts” just made it sound weirdly like some awkward teen high school drama but you get used to it
wednesday’s visions were so cool??? i loved the whole goody addams thing their interactions were really cool and god i just was not expecting that at all.
ok tbh it was really weird that her name was goody, since “goody” is the puritan equivalent of “mrs.” (its short for goodwife) so idk why they did that but ok i’m still here for it
honestly in general they do a really good job of keeping you guessing. i was suspicious about almost every single character throughout the whole series.
in retrospect i should’ve known tyler was gonna be an asshole from the start cause. i mean. his name is tyler. no offense to my tylers, but be real when have you ever seen a tv show character named tyler that wasn’t a douche. i’ll wait.
i’ve typed tyler too many times and it no longer looks like a real name
episodes are nice and long but i obviously wish the series was longer, but it was super bingable and i’m probably gonna rewatch it 3 million times until the next season inevitably comes out.
not to be dorky but i loved how every episode title was a pun w the word “woe”
i have really horrible media literacy in the sense that i overthink EVERYTHING so to me like almost everything in that was beautifully executed symbolism and maybe it was but when i say i lost my shit when i noticed wednesday stand on enid’s side of the room and fsr thats the only example i can think of rn BUT STILL
overall 5 stars 10/10 show i cant wait for more i love the plot i love the characters i love the cast i will be recommending it to everyone ik and more

just realized I drastically misunderstood the point of that ask game post. pls ignore my first ask and just go with Wednesday, Huntlow, and then Mattholomule I'm an idiot
ooh ok! Wednesday fandom, let's go!
My favorite characters are Wednesday, Enid, and Eugene! My least favorites are Xavier, the teacher lady along with Enid's blood family. Hmmmm, my favorite ships are Wenclair, Wenclay, and Morticia x Gomez! A character I'd be REALISTICALLY be friends with is Eugene. I don't really find any of the characters attractive LIKE THAT or marry worthy because idk their ages so lemme not be creepy😭 an unpopular opinion i have..... Bianca and Lucas got done DIRTY, like T*m B*rton was not HIDING his racism! I don't really have a canon OTP in this show, and non-canon, probably Wenclair. Most badass character was DEFINITELY Wednesday and Enid. A villain i like was probably Tyler. I am NOT A FAN of the love triangle they put Wednesday through. Characters that the writers screwed up were probably ALL THE TEENAGE BOYS. Character i most identify with, probably all the female characters tbh, and I don't wanna be any of the characters.
Now let's go to Huntlow, MY BELOVEDS!!!
I started shipping them when s2 was still airing, around when LR came out. I have WAYYY TOO MANY thoughts about them, so I'm gonna spare you😭 what about them makes me happy is their interesting dynamic ESPECIALLY since TOH got shortened!! What makes me sad is that they could've gotten more than just off-screen and background moments PLUS they don't deserve the hate they get! Things done in fanfic that annoy me is when they ONLY focus on Hunter, make both of them OOC, and make suggestive/NSFW stuff. Things that I look for in fanfic is both of them being in-character and when BOTH characters get enough focus! IDK much of my wishes for them, and I don't want either of them to end up with someone else if not with each other, sorry! Happily ever after for them is more not-so-subtle hints that they both are into each other, like blushing and flirting, if not confirmation that they both are crushing on each other or that they end up dating at the end of the show! OR IF DANA IS ALLOWED TO MAKE HER COMICS and she can put more crumbs of them!
and lastly, my boy Mattholomule!!!
I love him, he's so skrunkly! Romantic ships with him... GUSTHOLOMULE BABYYYYY, GAY RIGHTS!!! My favorite non-romantic relationship with him, him and Steve IF WE HAD GOTTEN THEM ON-SCREEN UUGGGHHHHH! my unpopular opinion about him is that I like what they did with him in TTLGR and the crumbs they gave us of him in 2B, BUT I WANT MORE! Something that I had wanted for him to happen in canon is to be around Steve, do that construction magic he was originally gonna do in the season finale, and hang out with Gus more!!! Favorite friendship, him with Gus again, I'm so predictible🙄 Lastly, I don't have a crossover ship with him!

hello >:)
🥴- Your weirdest fanfiction
📝- The fanfiction you wish to rewrite
🥳- The fanfiction you had the most fun writing
Hello hello!
🥴- Your weirdest fanfiction: This has to be Time, and other Hazy Concepts - the whole style in which it is written is lilting and dreamlike and, well, hazy and it works so well for that specific plot. 📝- The fanfiction you wish to rewrite: Maybe First Evening Back? I am not sure, but it feels like the Larissa/Morticia/Gomez triad dynamic could be explored in much more detail than I did in that one fic.
🥳- The fanfiction you had the most fun writing: Uhhhhhh tough question! I really don't know...writing angst is always a lot of fun, so for sure some scenes in Shapes of Love had me cackling evilly (you know which ones), but also Jealousy (I could be a better boyfriend than him) because Jealous!Larissa is just fun to write XD
All the asks for the fanfiction ask game can be found here!

finished wednesday on netflix tonight, so queued gifsets incoming. gonna look sort of hilarious next to all my festive posting, lmao. so be sure to block the tag if you're not interested, and if you are interested in an avid addams family (both the 90's movies and the television show) enjoyer's thoughts, i have a few very-spoilery opinions below the cut!
first of all, i liked it. it wasn't perfect, of course, but i enjoyed it!
it was wild to me to see there were a few people saying it was too violent? i know it used to be cartoon violence, or only reverences to violence, but i felt they delivered fairly well on that front. i was shocked to read some people took the piranha in a swimming pool bit seriously due to the fact that it was piranha... in a swimming pool. i laughed.
on the side of "the addams don't like murder enough" i definitely felt that. there was a slight toothlessness to them that i didn't love, but i do understand the reasoning behind it. by changing genre, it means there have to be stakes, there has to be some sort of line drawn between what is acceptable and what isn't. they did play with this a bit, too, when gomez was accused of murder and morticia said she had never loved him more, that was great. but y'know, the whole proving of their innocence thing was kinda meh. another post pointed out, morticia and gomez probably would have enjoyed that situation a bit more than they were portrayed to, based on theur prior characterizations. but again, i get it in theory. if your big bad guy is a murderer, then having your whole cast be murderers is a little harder to navigate. they took the easy route of "murder fun and interesting in theory, less fun and interesting in practice."
i was a little dissapointed by bianca's screentime, since i feel she deserved more of it. as a lot of people have also pointed out, (though i must clarify i am white, so take my opinion on this matter with a grain of salt) it was a little iffy having several "antagonists" be black, though i did genuinely like all of their characters, and obviously they all became not-antagonists by the end of things. it does also rub me the wrong way that there's a tendency to cast black men as (in this case ex-)cops, and that line from morticia to the mayor felt really tonedeaf, especially without any rebuttal. but again, my opinion on this matter isn't backed up by first-hand experiences, so take it or leave it.
i loved the dynamic between enid and wednesday. i mean, how could you not? i liked wednesday with bianca too, but in terms of shipping i do understand why people are leaning toward enid/wednesday. they got more screentime together, enid's inability to wolf out was the least subtle allegory for queerness i've ever seen, and that hug? hello? more romantic than any interaction with the love triangle guys by far. bianca and wednesday did get some great moments together, though, and again i wish they'd had more time to interact directly.
i have more thoughts but i'm having some trouble articulating them, so i might reblog this with some additions later when i'm more coherent. i love to hear more about what other people thought, though, so i'm excited to keep creeping in the tags tomorrow!

Thank you for the tag, @ryder616!
This tag game has unexpectedly led to an interesting discussion about what exactly an “Endgame Ship” means... which seems to be largely open to interpretation. I’m still not sure how I see that term, but for the purposes of this post, but to narrow it down and not mention way too many ships, I’ll take Endgame in two different meanings: for “Favorite Ship(s) That’s Endgame”, I’ll take it to mean pairings that were together and in a happy relationship at the end of the story. But for “Ship(s) You Wish Had Been Endgame”, I will take “Not Endgame” to mean that the ship was not treated as these characters’ main romance at the end of the show, or at least there was a lot of ambiguity and/or a rival ship for one or both characters was instead the current one at the end of the story. (A lot of my favorite ships have the tendency to end up unhappily in spite of being portrayed as the main romance of the story..)
Warning: this post contains spoilers for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Agents of SHIELD, The Hunger Games, The Leftovers, The Americans and The 100 (though if you’ve spent any time on my blog, you’ve certainly already been spoiled for the ending of The 100) and .
1. First Ship - When I was about 4 or 5, I was obsessed with Lady and the Tramp (I had a book version with a few pictures and it fell apart from how much I was reading it - it may have been my first book that wasn’t mostly a picture book), so I guess my first ship was two dogs (which is really appropriate, since I love dogs). If we’re talking TV, again going back to my childhood, before puberty and before I even knew what “shipping” was, I remember being pleasantly surprised when Raquel first appeared on Only Fools and Horses as a love interest for Del Boy - the show was an episodic comedy where the two brothers, in the early years, usually didn’t have a serious love interest. I thought “oh, he really is in love with her! And she feels the same, and they are so cute together.” I hoped she’d come back and wouldn’t just be a one episode character but a long-term LI. And then I was so happy when that very much did happen. I guess this can be considered the start of my TV shipping (and also an early sign of my love for contuinity and longer arcs on TV).
2. First OTP - Ignoring pre-puberty: at the age of 12, I was really obsessed with Wuthering Heights and Heathcliff and Cathy and read the book who knows how mny times. Regarding TV, I’ve shipped over the years, but I guess the first TV ship I would really call my OTP was in This Life, a 1990s UK drama about a bunch of 20-somethings in London, which I watched on TV in 2001. which now sadly seems almost forgotten. Anna and Miles had an on-off, love-hate relationship throughout - they were sexy, snarky, and it was painfully obvious that they were in love, but these idiots had trouble admitting it to themselves and even more to each other. If it had been a romcom, they would’ve been certain to end up together, but it was a realistic drama.
3. Current Favorite Ship - Bellarke - oh, what an OTP of all OTPs that was before it was stupidly destroyed out of spite. Over the last couple of years, Dark (season 3 mostly) made me really love Jonas and Martha (the first pairing I’ve made gifsets about), and most recently (last month!), I binged Halt and Catch Fire and fell in love with the show and with Joe and Cameron’s relationship (which, I just realized now, shows that my taste in OTPs hasn’t changed in 20 years).
If we’re talking current as in, in current shows rather than finished ones, then  Kanej (Shadow and Bone), Harlivy (Harley Quinn), Gereon and Charlotte (Babylon Berlin) and  Roy and Keeley (Ted Lasso).
4. Your ship since the first minute - I really rarely ship anything from the first minute (unless we’re talking Morticia and Gomez, who are of course already a perfect couple and nothing ever changes there). It usually takes time for me to fall for a ship. A rare exception is Roy and Keeley - their first one-on-one scene in S1 already had huge OTP vibes.
5. Ship(s) You Wish Had Been Endgame - Do I even have to say it? BELLARKE. A hundred times Bellarke, who were portrayed as endgame before the showrunner decided to retcon and ruin them together with the show overall.
Others: Jessica and Luke in Netfix Narvel shows, May and Andrew on AoS, Willow and Oz; or, depending on how you interpret Endgame, Willow/Tara (some argue that it is Endgame as Tara is definitely portrayed as the love of Willow’s life regardless of everything else). Spuffy (again, there are different opinions as to its status as both the show and the comics ended ambiguously and tried not to have a clear Endgame pairing for Buffy’s character), Xander/Anya (if you take comics into account).
6. Ship You Wish Was Canon - Some would say Bellarke, again, but I tend to consider it canon. It’s debatable, for sure (if you only consider making out/sex and/or “I love you” as markers of canon, it is not canon; if it is enough for the show to make it so blatant in the first 6 seasons that you have to actively search for ways to deny it to make it sound platonic, and for actors to confirm it was portrayed as romantic- than it is.)
So my answer would be: Kastle (Netflix Marvel shows), QuakeRider (AoS), and Octavia and Diyoza (The 100) and maybe Faith and Buffy (mostly in the sense that canon could have explored the nature of Faith’s feelings for Buffy a bit more and a bit more openly).
7. Ship that Most of the Fandom Hates, but You Love - Angel and Darla, May and Andrew, Coulson and Rosalind (hated how it ended though). Miller and Bryan (because they were more interesting than Mackson, and Bryan had a personality), Though “ships that most of the fandom ignores” would be a more apt term. The one that most of the fandom does hate and I like it is Octavia/Ilian - I liked it for what it was, two damaged people finding comfort together in what could have grown into something more - instead of the “we’re ve just met and talked to each other once and we’re already IN LOVE!” trope that the writers of The 100 were so fond of.
8. You Don’t Even Watch the Show, but You Ship It - Why would I ship something from a show I don’t watch?
9. Ship That You Wish Had A Different Storyline -  BELLARKE (duh - the ending). Veronica and Logan (the ending, again). Coulson/Rosalind - they had such an interesting and fun dynamic that could have been explored much more; instead, the writers opted for one of the worst tropes there are, and I hated that entire plotline for so many reasons. Tyrol and Boomer on Battlestar Galactica - what they did with Boomer was crap. Baltar and Caprica - all the bad writing in season 4. This is a weird example of a ship that I shipped so hard for 3 seasons and that was given Endgame in every sense of the word, but, by that point, I barely cared anymore, because the writers forgot about their relationship throughout the final season and made it seem like they didn’t even remember each other, and then slapped a last minute happy ending. Plus they retconed/explained their connection in such a stupid and anticlimactic way that ruined it retroactively.
10. Favorite Ship(s) That’s Endgame - Everlark, Nora and Kevin (The Leftovers), Philip and Elizabeth (The Americans), and Josh and Della on Night and Day (a really obscure early 2000s UK show that was watched by maybe 100 people.) Some others worth mentioning: FitzSimmons, Niles and Daphne, Tim and Dawn (original UK The Office), Jake and Amy, Memori (the only bright spot in a rubbish ending). And of course, there’s Morticia and Gomez, though they are less Endgame and more AlwaysGame.

to get to know better by playing the game!
Rules: tag people you'd like to know more about. Repost, don't reblog.
Three Ships:
Integra x Seras from Hellsing, it’s not quite canon but might as well have been, a healthy lesbian ship
Dr. Stein x Medusa from Soul Eater. Yes, the ship was toxic, but I was like 14 and had a crush on Stein
Blitzo x Therapy, the boy needs it, give him therapy to get some help
Canon ships:
Moxxie and Millie, they’re so perfect for one another, always have each others backs.
Lumity (Luz x Amity) From The Owl House, It’s great to see some canon lwl on Disney, and they’re such adorable beans, I wish good things for them!
Morticia and Gomez from The Addams Family, honestly couple goals, they’re so perfectly in love, they balance each other, gothic and macabre, so totally wonderful
Dynamic I enjoy:
I love friends to lovers, or mutual pining that everyone sees but the people involved
First Ever Ship:
I think my first ship from when I was small and didn’t know what shipping was would have been from DBZ It was Krillin and Android 18. I thought they worked rather well.
Currently Consuming:
Pirates of the Caribbean, been watching lore and analysis on it recently
Last Song:
Emperor’s New Clothes- Panic! At the Disco, it was in a playlist I was listening to
Last Film:
Haven’t watched a movie in a while, so I think it was Moana since my mom hadn’t seen it
Currently Reading:
Blue Exorcist, it’s a fun manga that’s about the son of Satan trying to become the best exorcist to ‘kick Satan’s ass’ so fun but also knows how to do character arcs that aren’t so stereotypical and knows when to take a topic seriously

Scarecrow Week 2020 - Day 2: Jonathan Crane Meets The Addams Family
No beta we die like my motivation for anything and everything
Scarecrow Week 2020 - Day 2: Jonathan Crane Meets The Addams Family
Jonathan was excited, whether or not he showed it. A family deemed freakish by society, yet still possessing the healthiest family dynamic out of any media portrayal in existence, Jonathan has always loved the Addams family. And now to meet them in person? He was almost sure he was dreaming.
Although the family themselves seemed to hardly show any signs of fear, the terror they caused other people by simply being themselves left Jonathan in awe. They didn’t care what ’normal’ people thought of them. That, Jonathan especially admired. It was a trait he wished he’d learned at an earlier age.
At some point, Jonathan found out that he was to Wednesday and Pugsley what they were to him - fictional characters; not to mention, beloved fictional characters. Of course, the only media exposure they’ve had of him was from comics they’d stolen from other children during their times away from their home, but it seems that both Wednesday and Pugsley found him… cool. It made him feel appreciated. He liked the feeling. Jonathan gladly accepted the scalpel and hair pin presented to him, and tucked them into the pockets of his asylum uniform.
When it came to Morticia and Gomez, it took the usually composed Dr. Crane every ounce of his self control to not immediately start gushing over the two. They were the true epitome of a perfect romance, legends in their own right, and Jonathan was ecstatic. Time spent discussing horrors with the two and learning more about their eccentricities was, in Jonathan’s opinion, time well spent.
The time he spent with the Addams Family may have been short, but Jonathan held on to each and every memory he made. It was the one time he got to meet his heroes, even if he was sure it was in his head. Suddenly outside on an empty field, he contentedly drifted off to sleep, ready to once again face reality.
Next morning, he woke up to the sharp poke of a scalpel and hair pin in his pockets.

E, G, and I for the nsft meme for nemo and Gerry?
A-Z NSFW
E = Experience (How experienced are they? Do they know what they’re doing?)
Well neither of them considered themselves 'virgins' at the time they met, but then depending on your own personal definition of virgin they might've still qualified. As they were both at the 'fooled around a little with other people but it was like me giving hand stuff and mouth stuff'
So like neither of them were super experienced when they entered the sexual side of their relationship (although somehow the fact didn't come out for a while about how experienced either of them actually were cue some 'why didn't you say something' but neither of them have had any complaints about the other in regards to how they are in the bedroom, enthusiasm helps a whole lot and it's been a journey together you know
G = Goofy (Are they more serious in the moment, or are they humorous, etc)
It really depends on the mood at the time, but they're generally never so far serious that they wouldn't be able to laugh or joke during sex or after the fact.
Only exceptions are some like moments where it's been like very emotional between them and that's usually been in the aftermath of something a little rough or someone was feeling very needy in general and needed to be looked after as both of them end up feeling a bit emotionally raw afterwards
sometimes they can start of trying to be quite serious especially if they're really trying to sort of play up some D/S dynamics and then one of them will crack half way through about something and they kinda lose the persona for a little bit or if they're trying out new stuff that often can end up with them getting a bit goofy (especially from gerry who probably has shades of 'humour as a coping mechanism' so like 'new situation where im a bit unsure... better joke') and sometimes they end up laughing after the fact especially if they've had kind of an intense moment as it's like 'lololol wow that was wild'
I = Intimacy (How are they during the moment, romantic aspect…)
Short version, they're both slightly emotionally neglected and touch starved and are def in the camp of 'If I do not treat my partner like Gomez treats Morticia than what's even the point/I wish to be doted on like Morticia is by Gomez' So yeah they def like can lean towards being very intimate during said moments, lot of like 'you're the only person i feel i can be vulnerable around' which does factor into their sex life since it's not a hard and fast part of it but they so sometimes play around with D/S roles and you know that's all about trust.
(they kind of speedran the intimacy part of their relationship before they even hit the romantic stage as well like they were already quite physically affectionate with each other and comfortable sharing a bed together)

Addams Family (2019)
I grew up watching the Addams Family movies. I love these crazy characters, and loved how they could be zany and cartoony despite being a live action film. So, when I heard that they would have a cartoon adaptation, I was ready to see what they did.
What I got... I can commend the effort, however I do think they fell short.
Something that the Addams family was always, no matter what happened, a family. They were homeless, jobless and destitute in one film, but they stood strong with each other. In this cartoon film, however, there was consistent arguments and an almost normal family dynamic about them.
So what happens? Well, the Addams Family starts with Gomez and Morticia’s wedding. However, they are mobbed by angry “normal” citizens. Fleeing for their lives, Morticia wishes for a safe haven where no one in the world could bother them. They come across a haunted house that is one punch away from collapsing. Together, they declare it perfect and Morticia declares that she would do anything in her power to protect her family here.
Which is an interesting start, however I find it a shame since the Addams were never ashamed of who they were. They never hid and the polite neighbors were always sort of forced to accept that’s just what they are like. Though, I suppose it’s just a product of it’s time. As neighbors were expected to be polite and kind to one another, and thus the Addams could be strange and all people could do were avoid them. Realistically in more modern times, they would be driven out and wish to hide for their lives. It makes sense why they made this choice (especially with its story purpose), but it’s a shame in my eyes.
The story then becomes almost completely Wednesday’s. As one day, she spots some local kids ride their bikes near their front gates. She immediately realizes that when her mother had told her that nothing else was outside their estate that she was lying. Thus, Wednesday sets out to see the rest of the world. I have seen some think it odd that Wednesday would want something different, to be “pretty”, however I truly think that she just wanted to see what else was out there. She is still a child, so it’s natural to be curious.
Thus, Wednesday Addams is dumped into the middle of a cookie-cutter “everything is sunshine and rainbows” world. Everyone is expected to be a certain way, and of course those who conform perfectly as seen as good, and those with quirks are evil and should leave. Of course, Wednesday being the little gothic freak she is, stands out. She upsets the balance, which causes the neighbor’s designer to turn her attention to the Addam’s estate, which looms over the neighbor.
Meanwhile, Wednesday becomes friends with the designer’s daughter, who doesn’t willingly conform. Together, the girls decide to rebel against their mothers. Wednesday wears a single pink hair clip, and the other girl shaves after her head and dyes it black. Which, points for really going for it.
Both mothers panic, and try to stop whatever is going on with their daughters.
Meanwhile, Pugsley and Gomez have a B plot happening. Pugsley is about to become a man, so he must master a certain sword dance in order to prove that he can protect the family. However, despite the fact that he has shown a skill in bombs/grenades, he is forced to learn the sword. However, time passes and he keeps failing despite everything he and his father has tried.
It all comes to a head when, at the ceremony for Puglsey, the “normal” people of the town raid their house. Of course, a big fight breaks out but it’s only when Wednesday joins in, and Pugsley is allowed to use his grenades, that they win. Which neatly ties to the “be yourself and let others be themselves” message of the film.
It was a fun film, and I don’t regret watching. However, I couldn’t help but feel like the movie was missing its usual heart. The Addams are weird, and they love it. They celebrated the dead with big smiles on their faces, and never blinked when they said and did things that we could consider “weird”. Here, however, the older Addams clung to their traditions, and the kids just struggled under it all. It just didn’t feel right.
