How I love the moon in Summer,
So cool and refreshing and full of wonder.
How I love the moon in Fall,
As she watches over us all.
How I love the moon in Wintertime,
So much softer than in her prime.
How I love the moon in spring,
Her beauty thaws and makes me sing!

Untitled
it is March now, but I am still coughing the harvests dirt from my lungs
in flecks now rather than clumps but it is still there
soon it will be replaced with spring soil, later with summer's ash
it seems I am doomed no matter where I go, cursed to continually swallow the earth like my tail
I came from her
I will return to her
this is merely interest

As the rain rolls down Monte Circeo beneath the starry night I find you again, this time awake, in her arms.
Oh sister, thank you for bringing me this witchling. The voice I guide has been calling her for so long To her abode, in the lands of the west, And I have woken from a slumber to this newfound light.
When Summer swings From June to July, From the known to the unknown, Wild dreams flow through our minds.
A fledgling hatches to the noon Sun, Gaze upwards, basking under its protecting rays.
From her shell grows a nurturing tree, which will send her on an upward flight to a palace she has somehow seen before. A marble effigy to your grace sister, whence you nurture her for her journey.
And when her wings descend below, May she find my arm to rest on, For her soul nested atop the old tower, She reached, even before it crumbled.
May you rest, witchling, before we dance into the bright tomorrows ahead of us. And may our fortune shine.

resurrection is nothing new.

Thor’s Thunderstorm
I sit upon a stone
upon a path to rest
the sky darkens
and thunder rolls in the distance
I sit upon a stone
while the air smells of rain
a freash crisp scent
of wet earth
The sky glistens
as the rain starts to pour
To escape from getting drenched
I find a tall oak tree
Thunder crashes in the sky
and my mind wonders to Thor
God of thunder
Thanks to Thor
For the summer Thunderstorm
Hail THOR!
Thunder cracks and roars
like a lion in the sky
Lightning lights up the sky
As if Thor heard my prayer

Sometimes all someone needs,
Is for you to just be there.
For you to care,
Help see them through their struggle,
Care that they're in a tug of war,
A war in their head.
A kind heart,
Compassionate ear,
And someone to say,
"there's nothing to fear, I'm here."

Taste the Dirt
A flower for every hour I spent watching you. Now I must burn the fields, Perhaps the entire earth. Irrigate with fire a world submerged in eternal flood. The final days of Pisces ... the Goat burns in my blood.
I'll see you in the tunnels, Hollow veins of the Inner Earth. Will the Devil send a rainbow? I invite you to taste the dirt.
-- Anya Moon
Soon to be a song; I will definitely share the link when my band releases it.

Witch's Soul
A poem about witchcraft, witches, the Divine, feminine rage.
Ancient soul, full of divine knowledge The Goddess of the moon beckons thee upon the crooked path Bathe in the ethereal rays of the glimmering moon Unite with all the lost souls with a witch wound Ashamed to embrace their true self, afraid of persecution, a witch hunt
Have faith Sisters, for you are divine, immortal Forge your path, follow the signs & synchronicities Explore your inner magick, inner power Delve deep into your subconscious Transcend the mundane to reach the metaphysical The Divine awaits thee, they are always with you Guiding your path, along the way
Don't be afraid seek comfort from the universe When all you feel is feminine rage Give your pain a voice, express yourself freely Scream into the void and release control Ground yourself in the earth, the waves of the ocean, the wind in your hair, the warmth of the sun on your skin Connect with nature, in a primal, chthonic, carnal nature Reclaim your archetypal, cosmic, right as a divine feminine to thrive Condemning, unworthy, evil-minded, monstrous wickedness of ignorant non-believers

I don't need to curse you
I don't need hexs or jars
crystal balls or cards
To see whats coming for you
& when it comes
& what's done is done
you'll know my words were true

10. Write a poem composed of heroic couplets.
The maiden smiles down on me
The moon-beams of her smiles caressing, ever so lightly, the
worn creases and folds of my flesh
she pulls away at me until the night and I are one, our mesh
folded and unfolded, until by being leaks out into the air
she rides on the night’s fair
earthly perfumes.
it breaks into glittery glass-shard blooms

On the wake of Lughnasadh’s night, I hear words of yesteryear resurfacing.
Aphrodite’s voice, in her luscious glory flying gracefully through the air, coming to find my ear, as I hear a thousand first harvest before me. She stands, behind every campfire, strong in her magnificence, eternal.
She lets myself go, she lets myself grow.
As the feast finishes, I can feel the universe’s pulse course through my veins, with her power carried alongside it. May the coming days’ reaping bring abundance to fields and flesh alike.
And as the campfire dims, it reminds me what is to come, as it has been, as it will be.
So mote it be.

Purple Memory
Tumblr media
I sat upon a rock
Watching the river waves
Flow upon the shore
I watched as love walked by
Hiking upon a forest path
My stomach churning
Like the waves flowing by
I say a prayer to mother earth
To give thanks for providing
The beautiful day
upon which I view
Soon love walked up to me
And presented a purple flower
The hue being light lavender
And my heart filled with glee
An act of giving thoughtfully
So simple yet so cherished
Alas the love I feel Is unrequited
Tis a gift of friendship
And nothing more
Yet I cannot help
That love has my heart Asunder
I accept and smile happily
And with humility
Knowing generally love
Still thinks of me
Thus I am not forgotten
In this vast world of cruelty
The purple flower's long petals
Dry out and fade away
But the act of kindness
Lingers on imprinted forever more
