I’ve been playing nethack more recently and I died to a paper golem on one run and I started thinking about why anyone would make a paper construct and all I could think of is a wizard that needs a minion to collect knowledge for them. So I combined that with a pun about book worms and the book wyrm was born

Attention everyone!!! @everyone please do not be alarmed if you hear me in your tunnels and catacombs!! I'm fighting The Beasts. So please, if you see any, blue blood, fangs, or bits of porcelain, please turn the other way!! I may be injured but I can handle this on my own. I know the creatures I hunt so please don't be concerned about your own pets, creatures, and secrets.

These beasts are currently only after me, at least to my knowledge, but if I should fall they will move their eyes elsewhere, stay vigilant my friends! I'll hopefully see you all soon, then, I can explain everything. Do not follow me.

Colleges of Strixhaven: Quandrix

A new theme week release from my Patreon, this one looking at Quandrix, the College of Numeramancy from the Strixhaven campaign setting. Students of Quandrix use the power of mathematics to delve deep into the underlying nature of magic, as well as the other natural workings of the world.

Do you know the Burning Ritual?

A beautiful thing, a ritual, but modern wizards only seem to like spells and curses and fucking fireball inside an enclosed space >:•(

No appreciation for classics, really!

Well, I'm in a good mood, so I'll teach you.

You'll need a simple summoning circle. Just stand inside and do this:

First, two steps to the right, and chant:

Qm wms ugqf rm jcypl rfc qcapcr? Wms'pc ml rfc pgefr nyrf.

Then, seven birds fly West, you confess:
