love love love when i take the initiative to do a thing and share it with someone else because if i'm going to do a thing i'm going to do it with the level of diligence i need, not wait for someone else to figure it out half as much and, well, cooking for two is just as easy as cooking for one, so might as well share.

and then i mess up.

and the other person suffers now too because they relied on me to do the thing, and didn't look into it themselves and took my Doing as accurate and true. (when maybe. if we'd have had two pairs of eyes on the issue to start, the fatal flaw would've been caught. but we all know that's besides the point)

and i just. i hate how often this happens. i'm an acts of service kinda guy, this is how i show i care, but then i fuck up. inevitably. because i'm human or something else irredeemable.

and i don't know how to ask people to meet me halfway on this sort of thing when most people don't think or operate the way i do. and the help i would ask for would never be satisfactory... and i'd just end up doing it all over myself.

#it's like. i can never ask for help bc it's like asking someone who's never so much as boiled water to cook me a box of mac n cheese #like. my requests would never be grand. i'm not asking for a 5 star 3 course meal. just some boxed mac #but it's like no one knows how to even boil a pot of water #so i'd end up having to teach them step by step how to make the mac n cheese and by then i've exhausted myself more than if i'd just shut up #and did it myself #and then the next time i'd have to teach them from scratch all over again #so why fucking bother?#until i mess up and it's all on me #bc i doubled the recipe but it came out bunk so now no one gets dinner and i'm still in burnout #i don't know a way through the dilemma that's fair to me #i don't know how to ask for help when the kinda of help i need are never ever things i can just *ask* for #ohhhh this is too many too much emotions i need to go dissociate into my game now #i've been dissociating so much this week it's been awful #work has been so much #oh god my jaw hurts from crying #personal

He has only moments left to live.#I honestly thought LQR died (adaption memory blur) and I did *not* expect him to show up here.#That said it does act as a way more personal blow to LWJ's reputation for LQR to be there.#By staying on WWX's side he's not only throwing his reputation to the wind but also facing familial judgment.#It hits so much harder when the choice isn't an easy one to make.#Choosing to stand at someone's side when they *have* actually messed up - when they do have faults and flaws - that's love.#Love is hard work! Love is not low maintenance and good days every day.#Love is being able to say 'I am choosing to bear your weight when things are heavy.' Love is doing that reciprocally.#Which is 100% a real life lesson I am passing on #And also a plea for why it is so important we give credit to WWX's atrocities.#He *did* do some of that shit. Columbo and the Knight (1984)

put me in the universe where Columbo ran through the 1980s and had a crossover episode with Knight Rider. I think they deserved it, and I am not just saying that because they're my two favorite Old Shows. @telebeast wrote a little fanfic blurb about it and I HAD to visualize it into a comic (which is also the longest comic I have finished thus far at five pages...), so writing credit goes to them.
