I love Chat-Stories anyway, especially if there are pictures involved (remember “You have 1 new message”) and this is sooo cute.

Also, I just wanted to say thanks for keeping my blog and motivation alive. I’m passionate about reading and writing and I’m also really passionate about the boys of bts. The combination led me to make this blog. It can become quite lonely sometimes, because I wonder if people are even in need of my blog or if they will read what I post. WHY IT'S SPECIAL: wow so this one may be on the same level as ''something to do with hands''. i think i adore them equally. this was the second canon fic i came across on ao3 that i absolutely adored. the passing of time is written so beautifully here, the way people change and that it doesn't have to be a wrong thing per se. you should definitely read this if you haven't already

WHY IT'S SPECIAL: last canon fic to rec. you may notice that i rarely rec any other ship when it's a canon compliant story. this is because taehyung&jeongguk have made a home in my heart. i can't care less about all the discussions and speculating going on  around them. that's not why i love them. it's important to be able to distinguish fiction from reality and we shouldn't project all of our expectations and speculations on them. for me, it's the chemistry and bond they have irl that has been important to me for almost 2 years now. seeing them happy makes me happy and that's the most important to me. 

this fic hurts a lot, i'm not going to lie. however, the writing is really beautiful and the beauty of the character development made me cry a little. it shows why the bond between tae and jk is so special. it's a long read about loving and hurting and falling+standing up together, no matter how hard it gets

WHY IT'S SPECIAL: this is probably one of the most (if not the no.1) melancholic and beautiful stories to read in ao3 bts works. it has almost a magical effect. yoonmin is basically a couple you can't hate, even if you'd try. they have such a good dynamic and the way that becomes clear in this story is amazing. this leaves you wishing magic did really exist. made a great impact on me

WHY IT'S SPECIAL: i could't not rec this in here. this made me appreciate guk and yoongi's relationship. it's the first ever yoonkook fic i read and i adored it so much. the awkwardness and the building love between them. i always find yoonkook stories so soothing to read, because they tend to be written really realistic while still giving me a warm fuzzy feeling inside because of a cuteness and fluffiness overload. go read this if you haven't already!

WHY IT'S SPECIAL: even though this is not a canon compliant fic, it's still equal to the taekook canon fics i recced in my opinion (and that says a lot). the passing of time is again magnificent, just like the character development. this is a fic where taehyung and jeongguk grow up and their dynamics change a lot throughout the story. it's written so realistically and with such heartfelt emotions I could feel everything through the screen. this definitely deserves its place in my bday list. it's probably the best fic I've read that has time skips and growing up in it, just because of the flawlessness

WHY IT'S SPECIAL: i want to finish my bday all time faves list with this gem. this is really close to me, because it's one of the most awkward fics I've ever read and it's amazing. I basically love this because of its awkwardness and the way I can totally relate to it. It has a soft glow all over it and that's really wonderful. It's amazing how the author has created this safe place where everything seems kind of softer in a new light. namjin fics tend to be awkward and that's why i love them so much. this one, though, is extra special because it's the first namjin story I've ever read. I fell in love with them after this. it's amazing. go read it people
