You have now landed yourself in the more commonly observed spirituality and wellness culture to right wing conspiracy theorist pipeline

With the Fight God Squad the one(1) Pokémon Tiso managed to grab is Darkrai. How? Due to being from another world with a different nightmare god Darkrai's ability doesn't, really work on him. Any nightmares he may have around Darkrai are just a coincidence. That, and Tiso saw this very obviously emotionally stunted Pokémon and went "Fuck it your mine to give positive emotions to."

That or it's Giratina in his quest to beat up god-

Ok so the Pokémon that Tiso gets is a very persistent Shieldon who just would not leave him alone - it had managed to get lost outside of a rift and immediately attached to this blue man.

But oh I like that idea of Darkrai, being so intrigued by this one character who just isn’t affected by their natural ability, so it follows Tiso around everywhere until finally getting caught out (probably deliberately) to the misfortune of the other boys having more nightmares because of it.

So I guess Tiso may have two eventual Pokémon… as a treat.
