Riddle was just walking around the court yard of NRC before coming upon you and grim sitting near a tree.

“I just can’t stop thinking about him Grim. He’s gouged a hold into my heart and I can’t seem to fill it.”

Who are you talking about? he wonders is it about someone you have taken an interest here in NRC? He’d be more than happy to help you. He listened more to your conversation and you started to describe the person the conversation was about.

“He’s just so cute grim! With his red hair and eyes so silver you’d think they were diamonds! I love him so much! But Riddle is too busy to even notice me so why bother trying”

Grim had fallen asleep as you continued to rant on about the little crush you had on him. While his face had turned as red as his hair, you liked him? Why hun though? There’s better people that him for you to like, don’t like someone was a tyrant. You really need to fix your standards (Y/N), big time. He snuck away from your place and headed back to Heartslabyul, his head was racing. Trey caught him at the doorway asking him why his demeanor seemed so different. Confiding in his friend he told him why he had heard. You and Riddle both had a crush on each other but the other one never having enough confidence to tell them.

The next day Riddle had a plan that he had devised with Trey the night before. He was going to tell you how he felt with hopes you would accept hence your previous conversation. When you arrived at Heartslabyul you were immediately taken to the rose maze. Find the center of it they said, then you’d find out why you were asked here. You walked through the maze for about an hour before finding a red string. You followed the string and had a bundle of notes that said different things. One of the notes were saying that this person heard your conversation, so with a blush you continued your journey

You reached the center of the maze and looked around for a minute. There was a table with tea and some cookies sitting there. The note at the table said to sit down and wait for a minute for the person would be right back. Okay simple enough, you took a sip of tea it was still warm. You heard footsteps and you turn to their direction. Seeing Riddle you almost choke on your food,

“Riddle! Hi!” You say this while coughing, riddle quickly comes over and smacks you back. He chuckled at you and sits down in the other seat. “I assume no one has told you why I asked for you to come today?” You shook your head in response, then you remembered one of the notes. Your face turned bright red, he had heard you conversation with Grim?! Oh no what was he going to do? Was he going to punish you for not telling him?! “I can see the doubt on your face Rose, you think I’m here to punish you, but I’m not. I brought you here because I just wanted to say…. I feel the same.” With faces flushed an awkward silence fell upon you two. Before you got up and moved you chair closer to his sitting it down beside him. He questioned you but you shut him up by grabbing his shirt with both hands placing a soft kiss onto his lips. His eyes widened but closed and his hands slowly came up to your sides encasing you within his arms. When you broke the kiss you two looked at each other for a moment before hugging each other tightly. This was the start of a beautiful relationship.
