The racist, heavily sexualised way they adapted the sand snakes and Ellaria Sand. I had hoped the fandom would know better by now but alas!

“Jann Wenner has been removed from the Board of Directors of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation,” a terse statement from a rep reads in full; contacted by Variety, a rep for the Hall had no further comment.

Um - interesting viewpoint, truly fucked-up...but certainly interesting.

You’re allowed to reject anybody you want and you don’t need a reason. If a man walks up to you like the guy I dated in high school and he wants to talk and you decline and he starts saying you’re rude and disrespectful: that’s your first red flag to leave and stay far away from him. He’s abusive. If he tries coming up with any reason why you can’t or aren’t allowed to reject him, he is abusive. If he tries blaming you for any reason, he’s abusive. Whenever I see dehumanizing and objectifying vitriol like this, I think about how men have defiled and raped women's deceased bodies many times over the course of history -and it never ceases to amaze me that although there is such an inherent evil in not condemning people more publicly when they reinforce hateful, misogynistic and ageist rhetoric like this -so many people will just laugh and tell you not to take men like this seriously...
